Me: Oh okey, I've spent much less money than I usually do this week, let's see how much exactly it is.

Me:*actually spending almost 260 [money] in one week FOR SOLE FOOD and still being hungry*

#the worst part is that I've been hungry this week because I wasn't able to find time for cooking for myself #and even though still #im spending tons of money on basic food #i really don't buy anything fancy #the most fancy thing was an avocado spread that costs less than a sandwich in my campus bar which isnt a lot #i usually buy bread pasta some sauce or some frozen veggies and thats it #i almost eat tofu all the time because its cheaper than normal meat #and i still over pay #i remember times where we would spend 260-300 [money] as a 3 people family weekly #and we were buying fancy stuff too!#what is going on with this economy!!!!

oh wow you once came to india? im indian, I'd love to know where all you visited and how the experience was! (positive or negative lol, ik its a difficult country for many foreigners)

i really enjoyed it but i cant say i really experienced india at all, i was flown into goa by a big tech company, picked up at the airport by the driver and immediately taken to the 5 start beach side taj resort where we spent 5 days before being driven back to the airport. the food was fantastic, the ocean awesome to swim in and it was fun to finally meet some of my friends from the android community i never thought i'd get to meet (most of them from india).

but we definitely got just an all expenses paid luxury vacation/conference much more than anything else, we did plan to go out and explore a bit of goa on one of our two free days but it was way too hot and the resort was quite a way out of the city so that never happened.

i would definitely love to eventually go back to india again though and actually experience a bit more of it than the glossy resort world if i can ever travel again (and can ever afford traveling that far again)

#definitely the most bougie thing ive ever experienced in my life #and not something id ever pay for myself even if i had the money #but still a fun experience over all #also i literally skipped two days of work to attend this lmao

Maybe the rare month is a bit over $25 if there's something specific going on like birthday.#Which I'm NEVER eating in an actual restaurant (erm... covid... plus I just hate restaurant environments. i would rather pickup #the food and bring it home to a peaceful quiet environment that I control lol). But more typically like stopping by a grocery store deli #section or something. I don't have coffee that much. And I can't eat fast food much due to my health issues/diet restriction stuff #so if I'm out like coming back from an appointment and I start feeling really sick and weak. I know that a hamburger will just #blow up my system and cause nausea or something. So I try to pick the breadiest most #neutral looking turkey sandwich at the safeway deli to eat during the hour ride home or whatever lol #I actually kind of wish I could do stuff like get food more often vecause it would take the burden of cooking everything off of me #but.. alas... Money... and Health Things... T o T #I still wouldn't do it ALL the time but like... once a week instead of once a month or something.. or maybe turning into a coffee #person.. I do love drinks A LOT .. i am a drink person who will have 5 different drinks sipping on at all times #But i just have to make them all myself mostly lol #And I cant really have too much coffee since it will make me sick. so like.. teas and juice mostly #When I inevitably become a millionaire by never using social media never networking and only finishing one #sculpture every 5 months which I dont even post about or sell - then I shall... get more drinks..#I will somehow wean my body onto coffee and drink one a day solely for the ritual of it #Though even then... I would still probably just like.. buy the mateirals to make it at home or something #Like if you had a million dollars you could just buy a kitchen grade ice cream machine and other stuff to make your own milkshakes and #coffees and smoothies and bubble teas. Genuinely I think even if I were a BILLIONAIRE I would still look at playing likr $8 for a single #coffee and go .. uh.... I could just buy the equipment to make this and then save that money. PLUS. its in my house now so no need to #have to leave. sally and percy were always each other’s constants, they became a bit more distant once percy found out he was a demigod, but they were still each others firsts

then estelle was born

percy loves estelle so much, so much it physically hurts

but he sees estelle and how happy she is, how she had a mom that doesnt work the night shift nearly every night and instead is home nearly all the time, and she has a dad that’s present and there and is safe and percy is so so happy that she has what he never did

but at the same time he knows thats the exact reason why it hurts

estelle has what percys wanted his whole life

and now estelle has the only thing percy had his whole life

being his mothers first and top priority

he knows why, he understands why, estelle is a baby and needs to be cared for constantly, and percys nearly 18 and doesnt need his mom all the time anymore

but it hurts because all the food is no longer blue, it hurts because he sees estelle grow up and get help, it hurts because he sees estelle with the life he always wanted, but knows he will never had

and it hurts because hes no longer his mother’s constant.

sally has paul now, she has paul to help her through her issues and she has a child that doesnt get expelled from every school shes been in

and percy has his family. but its not the same. annabeth has always been there, but she doesnt understand, thalia has been through the same childhood as percy but she doesnt know what its like to watch the bad go to good in the same household, grover has always listened but he just doesnt understand

because hes happy estelle has the life he always wanted. hes glad his mother has the life she always wanted. but hes not in that life. because hes moving out soon. and hes no longer his mothers son, at least not in the way he was before
