how do you write fic for a game with a non-linear story? or no storyline at all? reading fallout equestria and it inspired me but if I wanted to write a crossover MLP fic of my own it'd be with subnautica or deep rock galactic, and DRG has no story. the entire game is mine, kill bugs, level up, repeat, so I'm not sure how I'd write that unless it was just a 1 or 2 chapter short story. hypothetically I could make a story but... I'm not sure how that'd work. help please mutuals lmao
