Dan Heng gets nagged by March 7th to get her one of these sweets in Penacony because they’re ‘limited’ so he goes for her, with the location of the place in his phone. he pays attention to his phone to not realize in time that somebody crashed into him, he looks to see his favourite idol and he gets flustered. not only expecting him to see her, but to gain slight physical touch out of her and he finds out she’s been chased by a bunch of fans. he acts unconsciously and takes her to a nearby alleyway, hiding her close to hide her with a bunch of fans running around, looking for her and once its clear. in exchange, she takes him around Penacony to the nicest places since she is a VIP basically everywhere due to her fame and Dan Heng may have accidentally forgotten to get March 7th her ‘limited’ sweets, in which she blows up his phone but he doesn’t bother to respond.

March 7th. The girl he was cursing now, but the one who he would soon learn was a blessing. She had a tendency to be scrolling on any sort of social media when they were just relaxing on the expressing but never did he think he would all of a sudden be pulled out of his research and be dragged out into Penacony trying to find some limited edition sweet that she "needed". It was even worse since they had no idea where they were going since she had only seen a promo online about it, but it didn't have an address or anything on the page. Luckily with the little knowledge they had, they soon had an idea where they were supposed to be going and thank god for Google maps (or any sort of name you wanna use lol). Too bad he was so busy looking down at the directions not only did he lose March who ran off somewhere, but he had bumped into somebody. Great, now he actually had to speak to somebody. Just as he looked up to apologize to the person, he stopped. There she was. That Idol he's been researching and almost fainted when he realized that Caelus had gotten tickets to her concert, The (Name). He's never apologized faster in his life, of course a blush growing on his face, I mean he just made physical contact with the girl of his dreams!! She seemed a little fractic, looking around as she told him all was fine and that she was in a rush, and that's when he noticed all the people who were also looking around frantically. That's when he put it together, they were looking for (Name). Ignoring the buzzing of his phone he quickly pocketed it and took her hand, trying to blush any harder, and pulled her into a small little alley. He tried to explain that, no, he wasn't trying to do anything bad but make sure those people didn't see her, with a quick laugh from her end she thanked him before waiting out a while, both ignoring the obnoxious buzzing from his pocket. It was about 15-20 minutes before Dan Heng poked his head out and looked around before he gave a thumbs up, and just as he was about to pull out his phone and text March and ask where she was you spoke up. "Hey.. um, so I wanted to thank you, and I know you haven't explored all of penacony with all the issues and stuff happening so how about I take you on a little tour? I can get you into all the VIP areas too!" You asked with a smile, which in response he also slightly smiled back before leaving his phone in his pocket and following behind you as you walk out of the alley and start pointing things out. It definitely didn't feel like only a couple hours before you two were done and just strolling around the city as the sunset was slowly turning into the dark blue of the night. Eventually the two of you made it back to the alley where you started and since it was already night you both decided that it would be a good idea to go your separate ways, and with a quick kiss to his cheek and another thank you, you hurried off back towards your house. He was lost in his train of thought for a couple seconds with a blush that made him look like a tomato before he was broken out of it with a loud voice calling his name. Right. March.

I filled up almost half a sketch pad. Writing long hand, even sketching. With no issue. I've not done that without pain or annoyance in years.

I think the @welcometololaland collab really leans into their funny, bantering side and that's going to be really fun and full of moments that will feel very them. but also acroc is set in canon which really allows me to dig into some big thoughts and feelings

I think the wanderlust au setting will be gorgeous. I'm thinking small mountain town. (when I said this is barely an idea, I meant it)

acroc - the setting is a fictional place in Texas because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, but I'm basing it off of a place I've been to a few times

collab w/ michelle - this is pretty well known, but it's inspired by taylor swift because it's us

wanderlust au - I got this idea about two pages into reading a book. it was all inspired by the setting. (didn't finish that book though)

time, curious time installments - the lifetimes I have ideas for are chapter 5 (baker/blacksmith) and the modern, canon lifetime

vampire au - the plot of this fic is making me laugh now based on recent events surrounding meet you after dark

*crawls out of my tiny dark hole* So um... how's everyone doin~?

It's been a super crazy 2 years for me (oh geez... that's how long i've been out of it for?). I started writing out a whole post explaining what the hell was going on in my life, but it sounded more like a therapy session and I figured it was too much for updates and I don't want to bore you.

Long story short: I've graduated from PA school, started adulting and working in a trauma hospital in a high-stress specialty where I'm also working overtime, and I haven't had the time or energy to process how I've basically lost most if not all of my meaningful relationships/friendships because I haven't given myself time to properly process/heal/deal with my first breakup with someone who I was also best friends with during all of PA school. And I spend all of my free time sleeping or mindlessly watching meaningless YouTube videos. Or playing Twisted Wonderland. Almost always at the same time.

(I really thought that when I graduated and started working I'd have so much free time and I'd be happier, but I'm just tired all the time and I'm pretty sure my friends hate me lol.)

Anyway, the past 2 weeks I actually didn't have to work overtime for the first time in a WHILE, and I fully realized how capital D Depressed I actually am (and how thin my hair is and how much my scalp hurts and how much weight I've put on and how much my body aches everywhere) and I want to take back my happiness one day at a time. (No really, I broke down and downloaded a habit tracker to remind me to take my vitamins and iron every day and oil my hair every week and get my nails done-)

I really miss getting the smallest ideas for one shots from the randomest things in my daily life. I miss writing and having some kind of purpose. I just miss being happier tbh, someone skip me to the part of my life where I become hotter and more emotionally stable and confident

You're probably gonna get a oneshot out of me sometime this week, an idea popped into my head while I was researching hair sticks to put my hair up without my scalp screaming at the end of the day. After that... I have no idea, we'll see.

I hope this is the start of me coming back here on a regular basis. In case you didn't know, I also have a kpop blog where I write mostly timestamps and shorter oneshots @doyoungiesbunnies. I might start writing Twisted Wonderland stuff, but I don't know where I'd put it... That's all for now. I hope you're all doing well, staying happy and healthy and taking care of yourselves. i'm curious, how do you feel about shu and yuma's chaos lineage? with them being brothers and all, and the way shu gets his memories when he remembers edgar dying... i always see you talk about LE and never CL so i am wondering...

while I own CL, I actually haven't played that much of it ;-; in particular I haven't played yuma's route yet. I do my best to play routes without relying on someone else's translations first, and while that's possible for me, it's still challenging and requires research and a bunch of time with my nose in a dictionary. so I played shu's CL route and liked it, but it took a lot of mental effort and I and was like, "I need to take a break...! I'll pick this up again later!" and. um. well

(and the reason why I talk about LE so much is bc it's my favorite and I've played yuma and shu's routes like 3 times each lmao)

but my personal failings aside, I can tell you what I thought about the shuuma (and shuumayui) content in shu's CL route!!! bc I've done a lot of thinking about it! >:D

my shuuma mantra has always been that they love each other, whether you interpret that love as romantic or familial or as a friendship. you can't deny that they love each other in some way—it is canon, it has been canon. in that sense, CL is a big victory for me!! even if I tend to interpret their love as romantic and this is a "they've been brainwashed to think that they're family" plot, it's still very plain to see that they still love each other. and now I get all this fun domestic content that I never would've gotten otherwise heheh...something as simple as yuma lecturing shu to eat his vegetables fills me with joy ;-;

and there's this idea that I really fixated on when I think about their shared history together. shu and yuma have never been equal, right? rich and poor, comfortable and struggling, vampire and human. and this divide was always present in their relationship: shu is constantly tortured by the idea that he and yuma/edgar are different, and therefore they can never be together or it will end in disaster. while yuma in his childhood loved shu while knowing his high status, for the rest of his life yuma has been bitter towards aristocrats and will often point to shu's inactions and go "that's why aristocrats are so annoying." they can resolve things well and get along, but this inequality between them never really goes away.

but chaos lineage!!! it does this crazy thing!!! where it introduces shu and yuma as BROTHERS, of the same scarlet family, on totally equal footing!!! according to memories, they've been family all their lives! the implications of it drive me insane! I know the illusion of it doesn't last all that long, but for a brief moment in their lives, they were able to forget all about that gap between them that shu thinks is so insurmountable and just be together. the illusion has to go away and we have to remember reality (otherwise shu wouldn't even remember what yuma means to him!!) but when I think about how long shu has been agonizing over this, I think it's nice that he didn't have to worry about it for a while.

then later in the route when shu starts to remember, I love that his memories about yuma are so important. because it's an otome game, I always expect the guy's relationship to yui to be The Most Important Thing, but with shu it often seems like yui and yuma are equally important to him and I really like it. (basically shuumayui canon is what I'm saying) and we got some of those Classic shuuma lines where shu says stuff like "I always lose things that are precious to me..." in reference to edgar. it's so good. I wanted to cry lol

AND [slams hands down] I REALLY LIKED THE SUGAR CUBE SCENE.....I mean obviously, right? yuma trying to cheer shu up, giving him his favorite snack "that he really wanted to eat alone but he'll share them especially with shu......." AND....THE BEST PART OF THE WHOLE ROUTE.......when Yuma said that he knows Shu can do it if he tries, and that he knows that Shu cares deeply about them. And Shu says "...you've always been like this, no matter what happens, you never change."

plus, a happy shuuma cg! this has never happened before!!!!!

I've already talked for so long but I could write a whole essay about this scene alone :'D somehow, yuma said exactly the right thing. if you've played their LE routes then I think you especially understand how important it is for yuma to tell shu, "I know you care and I know you're trying." shu gets a reputation early on in the games for being detached and uncaring. so it's really meaningful that yuma has this level of understanding toward him at this point in the story. he gives off the impression that he doesn't care but he cares so so much, and yuma and yui know that better than anyone. </3

I Must stop here bc this is where my notes (yes I took fucking notes. can u see why I got burnt out quickly lmao) end. but I'll definitely pick up CL again, refresh myself on this route and play yuma's, and then report back with whatever angsty revelations and silly jokes about it that I think of 👍

i've always been really, really curious about exactly what palamedes was thinking immediately after harrow dropped in on his bubble in htn. like, he's been trapped for a while with absolutely jack shit to do except reread a trashy romance novel, he's got to be bored out of his mind—and then he has an absolutely WILD five minutes in which harrow shows up, says a bunch of shit that makes absolutely NO sense, and, immediately before she has to run away from whatever weird creature has stalked her soul into the bubble(?), inadvertently reveals that she must have done—um—something(?) to preserve gideon's soul within her? leaving her in WHAT kind of shape?? and what has she been up to for the past, apparently EIGHT months holy shit???? and what has CAMILLA been up to? etc. etc..... basically i just think that it would be really fun to put myself in the position of Palamedes, Boy Detective as he, with his Extremely limited dataset, attempts to cure his boredom by piecing together the. entire plot of htn oops lol. and also reflects on his relationship with harrow... like. is it the truest form of friendship that has ever existed if you spend a couple weeks sharing traumatic experiences and forming a tentative alliance with the one other person around who’s not a Total Moron to avoid Literally Dying and then against all odds you manage to reunite ages later after one of you has become clinically insane to the point where she’s forgotten you two ever even spoke to each other, and the other one of you has just done eight months in solitary slowly coming to romanticize and possibly question the mere existence of other conscious beings to the point of mental and emotional instability. is it touching and tragically beautiful if the two of you have a super awkward hug and then huddle up together while trying to hold a door closed to avoid Literally Dying Again and your non-corporeal ghost bodies are the realest thing either of you has held in over half a year. personally i think maybe the answer is yes actually

camilla hect assassin's creed au. okay so this one is pretty niche, but like... consider. shortly after the master warden palamedes sextus is (according to most people) killed in a strike by (according to most people) the templar order, sworn enemies of the assassins, camilla hect is being inducted into the assassin order. this roughly correlates with as yet unsent era of canon—the assassins are the boe equivalent, while the templars are the houses. corona has already enthusiastically joined up with the assassins, and she knows something is Up with camilla—namely, camilla's loyalties are a lot more divided than she lets on, because while she's not onboard with templar ideology she isn't REALLY convinced that it was actually them and not someone else (potentially even the assassins...) who ordered the strike that blew up the library in which pal was doing his research—research that would have been damaging for both sides if it ever went public... she's also not fully convinced that pal actually died in that explosion, due to some cryptic notes he'd left behind on the day the bomb went off. so, while she's working with the assassins, she starts doing some side investigations to see whether their story holds up. corona is NOT pleased about this and keeps telling her that what she's doing is dangerous and pointless and she needs to stop, but when has camilla ever listened to advice like that... i actually think it's kind of funny, this is an au i conceived of a couple months before as yet unsent even came out, but now that i'm looking back over my brainstorming doc most of it holds up with canon remarkably well actually. if i thought that more than two people in the world would have any interest in reading the end product i might even finish writing it sometime lol

my pride and joy... the pal vs. ianthe mind fight fic! this one i think i will be a bit more tight-lipped on because i have actually been writing it somewhat-actively and will theoretically be posting it sometime in the relatively near future, although at the moment it's taken a bit of a backseat because i've got holiday exchange things to think about, but... allow me to say one word that may pique your interest: timeloops. well, it's not quite a timeloop fic, actually—but it is in many ways a love letter to timeloop media, in which ianthe tridentarius has a bad time for a long time

Yeah you had heard about it, Amor told you about it making you sigh and having to grab a device for them to be able to be brought back, due to Amor being a bit lazy to bring them back for atleast a few hours.

When the three of you found out, you just gave him the scowl causing him to be more confused.

Amor let out a small chuckle as he looked at the three of you before shaking his head and smiling. "Well you better be lucky since S/O brought the device to bring you guys back!" He exclaimed, a happy groan escaped the bluenette's mouth as you giggled and kissed his cheek causing him to perk up and squeal before hugging you. You then turned to the couple behind you and gave a small peace sign. "Sorry for the trouble, Boyfriend and Girlfriend was it?" The blue haired boy let out a beep, signifying that you were correct. "Well you all travel safe now alright?" Bosip spoke as they both nodded and started to walk away. You then turned to Amor and glared. "If I get my hands on yOU I SWEAR-" He laughed a bit and smiled before waving us goodbye, closing the screen. We sighed a bit. What a long day..

Ahh finally I can let out my simping for characters onto a hc short lol..

Monster High Live Action THOTS

im ur host leonidas thotticus and today we are talking Monster High: The Movie (2022) with some spoilers ! it is all OPINION and only on the viewing of the movie versus my own MH opinions. Mostly on character portrayal and designs! and i had fun writing this lol

tbhh honestly i am not a good critic because a movie that entertains me is a good movie.

I think the best viewing experience is thinking of it as separate from the original because they aren't the same, and comparing them is kind of pointless, and i'll try to not do that but it is hard.

I'm only giving opinions here cause I haven't done any research besides like scrolling the tag on tumblr lol.

My fave was Frankie, obviously. Nonbinary, neurodivergent representation!! I felt very seen, and represented!! I wish i was that cool in high school! They're full of knowledge, don't really know social rules (and even comment on the fact that there seems to be this rule book that everyone but them has read) and man MOOD. I love their outfits, they are the right amount of ugly that i personally love to sport and yeah <3 big love for Frankie.

Draculaura made me kinda :/ initially because she's kinda a bitch at the beginning. but! she isnt meant to be G1 Draculaura! I wish she was kinder but she comes around. I really related to having parents that have insane expectations of you (the whole 'a 92% is failing' thing was like. wow mood.) and not wanting to let them down so you aren't your full self around them? heart breaking. love u draculaura. also loved that Dracula was a little pink lol.

Clawdeen was alright. Her actress was very um.... Disney in the 2000s acting wise. But like it wasn't bad! I think the half human half werewolf thing has the potential to be cool but they were really fast to be like 'hey we actually are cool with humans!' and outed Clawdeen which is weird like? i feel like the other students weren't just gonna be accepting immediately. Like, idk way to put a target on her. Her outfits were definitely not the most fashionable but i did like some of them! Also the ears were really cool :3 she also has a pretty singing voice ngl she killed it

Cleo was boring. i miss her being a mean girl who also supported her ghouls and loved them. like. she only comes around cause Clawdeen saved her? also dont understand Deuce's reasons for leaving her? were they bullies together and he didn't want to be anymore? i think that's what i got from that? wack.

Ghoulia also wasn't given very much screentime, and they took away the whole zombie genius thing!! which sucks cause i really liked that she was so smart even though people couldn't understand her all the time. But!! Cleo and the ghouls could and always trusted her!! she was such a side character in this movie. I get that maybe they didnt have the budget for the other characters to have bigger storylines or whatever and thats cool. I hope they do more with everyone in the animated show, cause it seems like it follows the same lore as the movie thus far.

Deuce actually still very swaggy even though he looks like Jughead. I miss his sunglasses cause how tf do normal glasses protect people !?!?! maybe they explained it and i missed it

Heath :( my poor flamey boy. :( the cgi was so bad. and he barely did anything. but again, not enough budget and time whatever. pls more heath in the show <3

I loved Bloodgood but her jacket was like. so cheap looking. the lining stuff on the collar was so weird? like they didn't completely cover it? and the buttons were weird? idk it didnt vibe with me.

Mr. Komos did look like Jackson and then wound up being Hyde's son which is cool! fun twist! easy to see coming but still interesting i think. His full monster design was kinda funny though. like not super scary. the power to take other monster's powers?? pretty sick ngl.

Some of the outfits were boring, some of them were alright and fun even! Frankie's were my favorite obvs. I think they gave Draculaura a darker aesthetic which is cool and witchy but i also hope they bring back some of the more like dainty victorian looks to kinda idk? balance it? clash a little in a good way? they were more modern designs for sure and i get that, and that it wasn't ever going to be as alternative and gothic as the original and thats okay! i think they could've done more but hey. budget i guess.

OVERALL

it was as cheesy and goofy and plot-hole ridden as any other MH movie I've seen. Was it a Cinematic Masterpiece? No. Was it pretty okay? yeah! fun, silly, definitely a kids movie I would've enjoyed as a kid. I'd say if you're gonna watch it- pirate it! and maybe don't go in thinking you're gonna hate it cause then i mean, yeah you're gonna hate it. it isnt G1, don't expect it to be.

4. what is the plot bunny you’ve been carrying for the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven’t written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

Well it WAS Hunter's Caress and Dreaming in Digital. Both of those sat in my head for about 6 years until I wrote them. HC was a liiiiittle bit longer than DiD, but I got them both done before I collapsed into burnout. The next in line is based on the original dirtybadwrong unhappy version of Addicted to You. It's been haunting me since 2016ish, and I poke at it now and then, but I can't seem to get past a certain point. I think it's partially related to burnout, and partially related to darkfic being much harder to write than it is to read lol

No existential dread about it though... I definitely want to finish it someday. But if it never happens, at least I know that I have AtY which still has the kernals of that original darkfic lurking in its chapters :)

11. what’s something neat you’ve learned while doing research for something you were writing? also, how much do you worry about doing research in general?

The only fic I ever really researched for was Satin and Sawdust. It's not so much that I learned something neat as it made me want to remodel my bathroom lol... I haven't done it yet. But I saved all the how to videos in case I ever change my mind!

I'm not huge into research. I might find someone who knows more about a subject than I do and ask them questions, but I'm happy glossing things over. I have leveled up in the the school of handwavery magic ;D

You've Met With A Terrible Fate, Haven't You? || BEN DROWNED

Pairing : Yandere! Ben Drowned X Reader

Genre : Fluff, Angst, Yandere

Summary : Appears as a normal dude, but plot twist he's really not.

Wordcount: 4k lol

WARNINGS : This is fic is labeled as Yandere, for those who don't know what it means: "Somebody who is sweet and kind at first glance. But when it comes to their love (crush)they will act obsessive and violent." - Urban dictionary, poorly (but still disgustingly) described dead people, I know Ben originally doesn't kill but in the story he does, idk? Shit written¿ 

Also disclaimer this is my first time I've tried doing a yandere and it's obviously not my strongest point. Hope you enjoy either way.

You glance at the abandoned game console which your friend had dumped at your place earlier this day.

According to him, something was very, very, wrong with it. The Nintendo 64 was old, of course, but your friend mentioned not being able to pass the boss battle. He mentioned something along the lines of 'it keeps glitching and Link keeps dying'. In other words ' I know you're a hacker and I suck at this game, please hack it for me so I can feel less like a loser'.

You keep writing the email you're supposed to sent to your boss for another thirty minutes, before letting your curiosity lead you. 

Before you know it, you've plugged in the old console with more cables than originally planned because of how old it is, and with how modern your tv is. The first odd thing that strikes you is that there's only one account on it, and it's not labeled with your friend's name. 

Instead of 'Noah', it's labeled with 'BEN DROWNED' in bold passive aggressive letters.

Simply pushing it to the back of your mind, you start playing.

The second odd thing about the game is that the game has a specific date and it mentions how far BEN, or well, Noah is in the game. Yet when you click it, you have to start all over.

You shrug that off too, simply noting it as the game being old.

Before you know it, several hours pass, and you're finally at the boss battle Noah mentioned. Deciding to see if you can beat it first, you do not plug your laptop in at the Nintendo 64, and opt to play instead.

However just like Noah mentioned, you die as soon as you're close to winning and the game starts glitching.

It takes you barely ten minutes before you're fed up with it, and soon enough you plug your laptop in. You start up some programs and open up a few sites, quickly starting to work. Your fingers glide over the keys of your laptop as you type in the codes in order to hack the game, however after a few minutes, the game starts glitching heavily, and suddenly there's a sentence in bold red letters on the screen of your tv.

' YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT'

It says before the glitching becomes way too much, and some weird kind of red circle appears. Your eyes widen before unplugging the tv and game console, forgetting that your laptop is connected to it.

You miss the small glitches on the laptop screen.

He gritts his teeth as the access to his portal is suddenly denied, the power cut early enough to avoid him.

His red eyes wander in the green coded space, looking for an exit, something that'll make sure he can get his hands on whoever this is. Lucky for him, there's a small white space what'll lead to the outside of it.

Once he's trough, he realizes he's still close to his victim. In fact, he's even closer now.

He smirks as he realizes.

Killing her is fair game now.

You tap your chin as you look as the items on the shelf.

" Should I get the red one or green one?" You mumble to yourself.

" I'd recommend the green one. Green is always better." A voice from behind you startles you.

You whip your head around to look at the stranger who's talking to you.

Behind you is a male you don't recognise from anywhere. And as you start to study him, you realize he's quite handsome. He's got blonde hair, blue eyes and a rosy skin colour. He's wearing black ripped jeans, a dark green shirt, along with a black zip up hoodie, which is left open, he's got a few black ear piercings in his right ear, and has a gold chain around his neck, which disappears beneath his shirt, weighed down by a charm hidden away from your eyes. To top it all of, he's got a matching dark green beanie on top of his messily styled bangs.

" What? Did I say something wrong?" The blonde boy suddenly sweats.

You smile and shake your head.

" No, you didn't. I just tough I was alone here." You smile at him.

You smile at him, oblivious to the fact that you're talking to a killer.

He looks at her trough the screen of the laptop, which is almost always open, today not being any different.

He watches her as while she watches something behind the laptop, from the sounds he can hear trough the mic, she's most likely watching tv.

Perhaps he should become closer to her.

Pull her closer only to have her blood staining his hands.

Oh yes, her blood shall soon become his.

He stared at her with deciphering eyes, silently wondering how she isn't dead yet.

If this was anyone else, he'd had them killed already. Their blood would already be staining his face and she would already be screaming in pain and dispair.

Yet here she was, laying peacefully on her bed. Asleep, obviously not dead. 

He wonders exactly what he should do next. She doesn't know that he's standing right next to her. It almost makes him laugh.

She doesn't even know that he exists.

She doesn't know that he's here.

He glares at her before moving back into the world of codes and technology.

For now, she lives.

" And then it suddenly started glitching and stuff. Weird isn't it?" You finish off your story as you look at your new friend, Ben.

After meeting in the grocery store, he had suddenly texted you. 

Not knowing how he got your number, you got concerned, and asked him. According to him, you had given it to him yourself. At first you didn't believe him, until he told you to check the time of his first message, which somehow was indeed around the same time you were in the grocery store. After that you just shrugged it off as that you forgot it yourself. After all, you knew yourself to be a person with the memory of a goldfish.

Today the two of you met up again, for the fourth time this week.

" Odd indeed. What did you do after that?" Ben asked, acting as if he's interested, even tough he's really not.

" I unplugged it. I think I'm gonna lay off hacking for a while." You shrugged, taking a sip of your drink.

Before he could even think of a response, there was an unknown woman at your table, also holding a cup of coffee.

" Y/N? Long time no see." The new woman greeted you with a smile, sitting down beside you on the booth.

Ben scowled at the newcomer.

Meanwhile Ben's anger only grew.

" My names Ben." Ben suddenly dryly joined your conversation as he slammed his drink down onto the table aggressively, looking straight into Sara's eyes.

" Sorry. Didn't see you there. I'm Sara nice to mee-"

" Yeah, yeah, whatever. Leave. We didn't invite you to come sit with us." Ben spat at her, looking at her with an intense look in his eyes.

Both you and your friend turned to look at him in confusion.

" Is something wrong with me being here? Did I offend you?" Sara asked, genuinely concerned.

Ben was fuming now, on the inside. Who does this girl think she is? First she comes to sit at their table uninvited, then she's capturing the attention of his new favorite plaything, and now she's questioning him? She has to go.

He heard her conversation with a male he certainly doesn't know trough her phone, using the microphone without her knowing.

According to what he knows, they're on a date. And according to her contacts, his name is Jaime. He can't find where they met, nor did he know why they met up.

But now that she's checked her reflexion one too many times, and made a pic of her full outfit to send to him, probably to mock him for not having her, ɏɇ₮, he realizes that she's on a date.

After some research by surfing quite literally trough the internet. It turned out this 'Jaime' person was Mexican, and had a soft persona. On his facebook page were pictures where he's working with animals or doing volunteers' work or overall just something where he's helping others. He found the black haired male pathetic, weak even.

In all honesty, even he himself didn't really find him a threat. Not when he looked like that and was overall just kind and bambi looking.

However, all his expectations are thrown out of the window when he hears them say their goodbyes.

" You know, I had a lot of fun tonight. You're really a nice person. In fact, I'd like to go on another date with you again." This voice was definitely that of a male's, probably Jaime.

" I agree. I had a lot of fun too." She said.

You giggle, your ears tinting red.

" We're already together all the time tough." You tell him softly.

" I know, but still. By the way, did your stupid date reply yet?" He asked, eyes focused on the tv in front of the two of you.

" No, and don't call him stupid." You pout, softly scolding him.

He grins at you with mysterious eyes.

You shrug it off, knowing it's part of him. The two of you have been hanging out for a while now. Almost three months to be precise. And you two have gotten very close. What used to be keeping distance and keeping the line between acquaintances and friends, had turned into friends or something more. You two almost hung out every day, you were basically attached to each other's hip now.

After a few peacefull moments, you excused yourself to the bathroom.

Right as you left, your phone rang.

He turned to look at the disturbing sound  his eyes widening at the name which is appearing on the screen.

 SARA

He stumbled over the couch to pick it up, an unpleasant feeling of suprise rising whitin him.

" Y/N?! You have to listen to me! Ben is not who you think he is! He's this-"

" I'm this what?" Ben smirked.

Damn you were taking a long time in the bathroom, not that he minded.

The other end of the line was dead silent.

" Don't worry. You don't need to say anything. I'll come home soon. And trust me, once I am, you will never be able to speak a word again." He spoke, an eerie calm in his voice.

" Goodbye, Sara." He said before hanging up.

" Sara called?" Your voice suddenly startled him.

" What? Oh, yeah. But she was in a hurry so she said she'd call you later." He smiled innocently.

You nodded and the two of you resumed watching the movie.

" Isn't there a way, that we could spend more time together?" He suddenly wondered out loud.

You sighed and turned to face him.

" I'm sorry Ben, but I have a job and I like spending time with other people too. So I'm afraid not." You told him softly.

An idea coded itself into his mind.

You sighed in dispair in the night air as you walked home. Once again, you were rejected in a job interview.

A few days ago you were fired from the job you actually liked. You couldn't understand why either. You didn't do anything wrong, you were quite hardworking and always finished the documents in time.

Your supervisor looked afraid, terrified even when he told you to immediately pack your bags and leave, and ever since you just can't seem to get in anywhere. Not even the gas station wanted you in charge.

" Well hello there. What do we have here." A creepy voice suddenly sounded from behind you.

You turned around only to be greeted by a man with a creepy smile and even creepier, eye lid-less eyes. He was holding a knife, making his intentions obvious.

You didn't need to think twice about his intentions and whipped your phone out of your pocket with the intentions to call the cops and running.

The killer sadly isn't stupid, and has you on the ground under him whitin seconds.

Your phone's screen crack and slides to the other side, the dialed number not pressed on call yet.

" Don't cry sweetheart. It doesn't suit your pretty face. Don't fret, I'll make sure, you'll smile forever. " The killer tells you happily.

Both of you don't realize that your phone screen suddenly lights up in a green colour. Nor does either of you realize the figure crawling out of it.

The both of you don't realize, until the killer is off you and tackled down on the ground beside you.

" I've told you before. She's fucking mine. Go bother someone else." Ben's voice sounds suddenly.

You turn your head to look at him.

This time he does not wear jeans and a sweater. No  this time, he looks like he came straight out of a... Video game? He looks like Link, the main personage of the game which your friend Noah had dropped off at your place around six months ago. 

Ben never told you he was into cosplaying.

Your ears suddenly tinted pink as you realized, he called you his. Suddenly you felt a little giddy, the guy you like so much might actually like you back.

The killer underneath Ben growls out something you can't hear before throwing the shorter off him and leaving.

" Are you okay?" You ask him.

He turns to you with red eyes.

Red. Fucking. Eyes.

And that's not the only thing about his eyes that changed.

Instead of the usual white eyes have, his are now black.

And even there it doesn't end.

There's blood running down his eyes onto his cheeks, as if he's crying blood.

You take a step back.

What the fuck is this?

" Don't be afraid! I know I look a little... Weird, but it's all just part of my..... Cosplay." He explains.

You ponder over it.

He's never gave you a reason to not trust you right? Or did he? 

You ignore the instinct to run away from him, instead choosing to calm down and follow your heart, which is telling you to trust him.

" Come with me. You can stay at my place tonight." Ben tells you, holding his hand out to you.

You take it.

It took longer than expected to reach his house. The whole road to his house is creepy. Ben appartly lives in this supermodern house in the woods.

Which is off already, the woods are known troughout the whole town as mystery. According to urban legends, there's creatures loving in there who shouldn't exist. Because of that, there's barely any people there. According to Ben, everything is all clear and safe, and you trust him with your heart.

You don't question him after his answer and instead follow him into the,indeed very,modern little house which is situated hidden behind the trees.

You get directly hit in the face with a copper scent as soon as you step foot into his house.

" Would you like something to drink?" He asks you as you enter his house, neither of you bothering to take your shoes off.

" Just water please." You tell him as you study the place.

The inside of the small house is more modern than the outside, with a big living space and an open kitchen. There's also three doors in the hallway.

One to the bathroom, one leading upstairs and one leading into the basement.

" Here you go." Ben returns, handing you a glass of water.

" Thanks, aren't you going to take off your make up and lenses?" You ask him.

His smile fades a bit, and for a moment you think you've accidentally offended him, but he nods with a pout before you can think about it twice.

" Yeah, that's probably a good idea. The livingroom is at the end of this hallway, feel free to make yourself comfortable." He smiles before going upstairs.

You stand still for a moment in the hallway as an eerie feeling suddenly starts crawling up your spine.

You ignore it, and instead start walking towards the livingroom.

Until the sound of something falling reaches your ears.

A sound that is directed from the basement.

Your first idea is to call for Ben, to alert him that you two probably aren't alone.

You don't do that however, because it could just be something falling off a shelf, right?

And so you decide to investigate it yourself.

As soon as you open the door to the basement, you're directly hit in the face with a very prominent copper scent. The same on you already smelled when you entered his house, except it's way too strong and there's something eerily familiar about it which you just can't pinpoint.

You silently push the door open, and turn on the lightswitch to the basement. Behind the door is a stony staircase, the rest of the basement is hidden away behind a wall. Curiosity takes over you, and you make your way downstairs before you can think about it twice.

As soon as you near the bottom, you spot blotches of red. The deep red substance is spread like a trail from he bottom stairs onto the rest of the room.

And then it clicks in your mind. It's blood. That's also the smell in the air. Was the intruder injured?

You step down the stairs while following the blood trail with you eyes.

You stumble back in fear and unpleasant suprise at the sight that greets you.

There's dead people down here. Most of which you don't recognise, but a few you do. 

You gasp as you look into a pair of wide blue eyes.

Sara.

She's sitting there, eyes wide open, with cuts all over. There's big ones in her rib case and near her organs, you can even see Intestines spread over the floor.

She's obviously dead.

But how come she's here?

Ben didn't do this? Did he?

Next to her is Jaime, who's eyes are closed but his chest is rising and falling.

He's alive.

You run over to him and shake him awake, not minding the blood that's now on your hands.

" Jaime! Please! Wake up!" You say desperately, tears now escaping your eyes.

" Y/N? Y/N! You have to get out of here. Ben, he's not who you think he is!" He tells you desperately.

" I'm not leaving you! Can you walk?" You ask him trough your tears.

" I'm chipped Y/N, you have to go. Get help. Ben's insane. He's a de-"

" Demon? Mass murderer? Failure? Dead? Is one of those what you wanted to tell her? How dare you lie to her! I'm none of those!" A voice suddenly booms trough the air.

You turn around while starting to shake. Jaime tries to hold you close to him with the little strength he has left. There Ben stands, still with red pupils and black eyes, dried red streaks still on his cheeks.

" Don't fucking touch her." Ben screams angrily, ripping you all but gently away from the male, causing you to tremble against him.

" Don't be afraid my love, he won't touch you again." Ben sushes you.

Is he really thinking that you're afraid of him?

" N-no. Let me go. Do-don't touch me." You tell him, pushing away from him.

He looks confused by your behavior.

" What's wrong baby? Please don't believe whatever lies he told you.-"

" What lies?! That you've killed my friend?! That you've killed these innocent people?! That you've chipped him?!" You yelled.

" They all deserved it Y/N! They're all in the way of our love!" Ben yells back desperately, stepping towards you.

" I don't even know these people!" You say, stepping back into the wall, knocking into a shelf.

You turn around to see what you knocked into.

Wait, is that the Nintendo 64?

" They all stared at you with sick twisted ideas! They really do deserve it." He tells you.

Suddenly it clicks in your mind.

" You're Ben from the game." You state.

He nods.

" Yes bu-"

" How?.."

" You clicked my game onto your computer remember."

" It was you wasn't it? You're the reason I've lost my job. You're the reason my friends all turned their back to me." You wishper, eyes now gathering in your eyes.

You've been so incredibly fucking stupid.

He's the reason your life has turned down the drain.

" Yes. But it's good right. Now we can finally be together." He says like a crazy man in love.

Which he is.

You start sobbing as you fall onto your knees realizing, all these people here. They've all died because of you.

" Hey, don't worry my live. We can now finally be together."

Witchcraft Goals for this week:

Blog about "The Thing that came Up" as a part of my chosen witchy self-exploration exercise to deepen my connection to entities and understand and connect to my desires. ... I haven't done it yet because the thing that came up is, um, scary and personal, as you would expect some things to be in such an exercise.

Also, I cast Greater Trancendental House Cleaning Yesterday, and part of making this spell successful requires doing a little bit of cleaning Every Day of the Month until the month is done... so... I'm changing the sheets today, and I gotta figure out a plan to get some cleaning done when I Go back to work.

Humans of Tumblr, I currently have open the Wikipedia pages for both Slavic Native Faith and Kabbalah, and I recently made a book mark for the Viridarium Umbris by Schulke, and I am a little over 115 pages into Drawing Down the Moon. I Started listening to Traegorn's backlog of Bullshit Free Witchcraft, And the Dark Gods Series that elizatungusnakur is creating. Critters and Creatures, The Labyrinth is Real.

Because I have a big thirst. Because I am searching for connections to things that have been inside my mind and my stories. Because I sometimes see things that I am afraid don't belong to such as me, and I sort of maybe need to give them back some how?? Doesn't make much sense, but what are you gonna do? And because I think I may finally be ready to reclaim and address some of the things from my childhood that I Loved and Identified with, without having the pains of what I went through mucking it all up for me.

What Deity, if any would I like to work with?

Okay, so, Cernunnos, for sure. And I think, as they are associated with closed practices, some I want to learn stories about Slavic entities, because learning about the folklore is as close as I can respectfully get. Also I keep getting these wild delusions of some connection of some kind between Slavic systems and Angrboda and I am not sure why, but I am pretty damn obsessed with the idea.

About Leaving:

All of the above. I could go on at length about all of this. Depression, disconnection, derealization and dissociation, grief from losing connections that sustained me. From not knowing why things didn't work out to the entity literally deciding I wasn't trying hard enough and basically saying "fuck you"/(soft) and walking off. Me concretely deciding to put down faith and practice entirely to try to get my mental health shit together because I didn't think I could successfully juggle all those balls at the same time. Sometimes you know, and sometimes you only get it in retrospect, some number of weeks later, when you surface from a busy time and go, "where did they go?"

I am a Story Teller, and Tarot cards are my Favorite.

Least Favorite form of Divination:

Reiki or pendulums, because I know that I am influencing outcomes with my own biases. Interpreting a random outcome is fine with me, but I feel like with these ones, I know I am in there in the gears of what is going on, and I can't pretend I am not. There is too much skepticism in me to have these work for me.

Yes, because I have done that since I was a kid. The Wiccan Stuff that my mom taught me is still in there.

I'm just gonna answer these because fuck it, I'm here and I'm queer and I'm gonna ....uhhh... word that rhymes with queer.

1. Besides myself, whoever was my closest friend at the time. I've come out so many times for a handful of different things as I discovered myself, so... [shrug emoji]

2. Laura Jane Grace. I don't vary what I listen to much, but I recently started listening to Against Me! And holy shit I wish I'd done so sooner. I'm sure there are plenty more but my brain is mush after a long day of being productive.

3. Queer and... it's complicated. For simplicity, I generally say trans man or nonbinary guy. If you want the run down, check out my about, because it's a lot to type.

4. All of the actually lgbt/queer icons, tbh, but David Bowie. Who was bisexual, btw.

5. I do not have any kind of partner, or even a friend in real life that I see. Lmao

6. I'm always questioning, honestly. But with sexuality, it is funny because I've always been into girls (bear in mind here that I had forgotten I was a guy at this point, due to family), and actually slept with over two dozen girls before I found out there was a name (names!) for people into same-gender folks. First I identified as bi, then pan, then lesbian, then a bit of a confusing phase because I realised I was... okay, first I realised i was agender, but I didn't know you could be multiple genders.

Anyway, I had to reevaluate my sexuality because I wasn't a girl (and I had again suppressed and promptly forgot that I was a guy). But it was at that point I realised that I liked some guys too, as well as nonbinary and agender folks.

After six or seven months, queer felt really good to me. I didn't know it was a sexuality, just thought it was a mean word, til then.

Gender has been a slow understanding. And I'm still learning. But I remember telling my mom I was a guy when I was either three or four, now.

7. Harry Potter. The whole series is so damn queer <3

9. I would if I could. I'm mostly bedridden, so I'm kinda... stuck. I am in a few discord chats though?
