• She loves it when people call her Jane. It makes her feel like a real person.

• She likes to roller skate but she can't skateboard. Poor girl, she keeps trying to do a kick flip. Max doesn't even know how to do a kick flip.

• She eventually got burnt out on Eggos, but never the syrup.

• She doesn't have great social skills and she talks a bit like Starfire so she doesn't talk much to people she doesn't care alot about. But when Max is over, Hopper and Joyce have to wear ear plugs.

• Total giggle box. Can't stop, won't stop.

Max:

• Kinda like Billy she has a spunkiness that can sometimes come off as mean, sometimes she'll take a playful insult too far and have to apologize. Which she will do.

• She doesn't like her orange hair. She prefers Els dark curls.

• Max sees Steve as her dad. She asks him for advice on the reg which nobody really seems to know. It's not like she's hiding it, she just doesn't go shouting it from rooftops. "He yourself kid, but sometimes dial "yourself" back a little." He once said to her.

• She smokes. She's not a big drinker but I imagine she's picking up cigarettes people left on the sidewalk for later and lightning them up for herself.

Very shy and a little awkward

He gets flustered when talking to you

Tries impressing you with his skateboarding abilities, though for some reason, he always tens to fall flat on his butt

His friends, Pj and Bobby, try and help him wingman, but they just end up embarrassing him more

Has a tendency to fiddle with his hair when nervous

Tries to avoid his father, only because he knows his father will embarrass him. Like yeah, he loves his dad, but come on

Though, if you hand with him and his friends, you can always expect an adventure

Though, if he doesn't focus on you watching him, he is really good at skating. He just has to not focus on you, but instead on skating. If he focuses too much on you, he gets lost and loses his mind

He's a daddy's boy and if he ever had kids, they'd be daddy's babies

He's very defensive for you. If anyone even thinks of speaking bad bout you, he's on it

Really chill and likes to hang out

His favorite thing to do with you is relaxing and hanging out together

Okay so like, months ago, @blusthings drew Chloe with crutches and I was like "omg omg I love it gotta do it too"... And then I did, and hated the results and never posted it, lol. And a few days ago I found the sketch again and went "let's actually finish this".

And in the end it doesn't look that bad! Anyway, here are my headcanons :

In this AU, Chloe definitely zooms as fast as she can as soon as the ground is flat enough (Max has to run after her and it Chloe thinks it's the funniest shit). She's into skateboard, and she sometimes skates using her crutches for support, but she's actually saving up to buy herself a sports wheelchair specifically to skate, and she's already learned some tricks. She's a badass, and quite similar to the Chloe we know and love <3

Bro is a master at manipulation. If you’ve seen the goof troop u know that Max is a little menace and does what it takes to get what he wants.

I don’t think he would be good at cooking or baking either and would avoid it. Not as much of a disaster as Bradley tho.

Most definitely made “potions” in the bathroom with all the different things in there.

He genuinely doesn’t see how his actions affect Goofy and how sad Goofy is. Even if someone tries to explain he brushes it off bc “oh it’s just my dad.” 🙁

He really does love Goofy, he just struggles with his own embarrassment of him which he takes out on Goofy.

I think he could survive a fast food job tbh. But he’d quit the moment a manager showed him disrespect.

He loves adrenaline rushes and loves things like rollercoasters, haunted houses, etc.

He claims he’s not scared at all by horror but he gets genuinely scared watching movies or something (this happened in the goof troop)

He’s clumsy just like his dad but he tries his best (and fails) to not be.

He hates being compared to his dad or being told he looks like him.

When he was little he thought his dad was the greatest person ever and looked up to him, but when they moved next door to Pete and his family and Max heard the way Pete talked about his dad that started his resentment towards him. The more he heard from others, the more frustrated and sad he was. He struggled with being torn between accepting what other people say about his dad and just accepting the good qualities Goofy has that outweigh the “bad”

Bc he’s clumsy it took a while for him to get good at skateboarding, but once he did, it was as natural as walking to him.

He cringes when he thinks about how he acted during the first movie and can’t believe he was such a loser back then.

Okay, I just am in LOVE with the idea/headcanon I thought up that Max has the same stims as me (hand clapping mostly, rapidly finger fidgeting), and that his hyperfixation is skateboarding. And he does sometimes get overwhelmed, and when it first happened, Goofy didn't know what to do. But since then, he's had experience, and knows exactly how to handle it. And the first time BRADLEY saw it happen, he had (VERY ACCIDENTALLY AND NOT MEANING TO) caused it. He didn't know what to do and felt extremely bad so he just ran. But they cleared things up

Protective Mike headcanons! To the whole main cast because a lot of my Byler headcanons involve Mike being protective already why not!

Mike will cross his arms and pretend that he’s not paying attention to Max when she skateboards beside him but after that fall in s2 he’s always ready to reach out and stabilize her in a split second

If Mike has any leftovers, he always offers his food to Holly first if she’s still hungry

He also makes sure she’s never unheard at the kitchen table. Lord save the soul who dares to speak over Holly because Mike will roar at them to SHUT UP and then smile at Holly like so what were you saying? :)

Lucas loves birds just because I’m projecting - and Mike doesn’t really care about birds but if Lucas sees a cool one nearby Mike won’t let anyone scare the bird off so that Lucas can have his fun

Mike is basically a crosswalk guard when he’s with anyone when they hit a crosswalk. Boy is extending his arms and holding the other person/people back, making sure the road is clear before they walk.

Mike is a notoriously slow biker when someone’s riding with him. In danger, he’s booking it, but otherwise, he’s vigilant and tries to avoid rocky paths

If anyone gets hurt near Mike, he’s going to become their personal crutch until they can move independently, sometimes even to the point of irritation. Like someone could hurt a toe and walk fine but Mike is right under their arm like hey you okay? He did this a lot to Dustin before s4 because I said so

Mike’s a little clumsy but if he’s carrying something hot or delicate or the like, he’s using both hands and shooing anyone in his way so he doesn’t drop that thing and hurt anyone

Going off his adorable binder of Will’s drawings, Mike keeps his school notes and papers (surprisingly to Lucas and Dustin) organized to the point where he can carry comics in perfect condition before he gives them away

When it’s raining, Mike makes sure that raincoat hoods are being affixed if they keep flying down - he started doing this to everyone in The Party after doing it to Holly so much

Mike gets so angry if people talk shit about his friends. This is canon, but I like to imagine that it extends to their families, too. Like he’ll throw Hopper under the bus but he’s actually really adamant that he’s a good person. Same with Joyce. You will see him after class if you even make a “your mom” joke about her

Mike is first to point out if someone is hurt and figure out the who, what, when, where, and why it happened and make sure they’re safe (Will’s first to notice which then leads to Mike interrogating)

Ronance + Max headcanons?

Could’ve sworn I’ve answered this before but I couldn’t find it so I apologise if I’m answering it again.

I’m actually just gonna drop a quote from the Runaway Max book itself because it kinda perfectly explains what I mean by what I’m gonna say.

“Nancy was standing in front of Steve and Hopper, and she was frightened and delicate, but she was fierce, too. I knew that girls could be just as badass as boys, but before I’d always thought the only way to do it was to be like them. Nancy didn’t seem to be trying to be Steve or Hopper. She was dangerous and brave and frightened all at once.”

I think during Season 2 Max has spent so long trying to be like a boy, being tough and brave and rejecting femininity. When she sees Nancy at the end of the season it does change her, she realises that Nancy’s got the scrunchies and the star earrings and the pretty pink dresses, but she also has guns and ferocity and doesn’t take shit from anyone. In season 3 Max is genuinely girlier than the previous season while still keeping all her hobbies and personality. She’s going clothes shopping then reading comic books. Giggling about boys then falling off skateboards. Who knows, maybe she followed in Nancys footsteps a bit.

In Season 4, I kinda see a lot of Robin’s style in Max. I think they’re both as picky in their music taste as each other, but they’re similar enough that they can give recs. And while, yeah, Max is learning to embrace her girly side because of Nancy, that doesn’t mean she and Nancy have the same taste. Max thinks Robin is unbelievably cool (which absolutely shocks Robin when she learns this) and maybe starts dressing like a mini her the way Mike does with Eddie. She’s getting patches for her jackets, drawing on her shoes, and Robin pretends not to notice so Max isn’t embarrassed but she absolutely does.

Also when she learns Robin and Nancy are dating?? Ten times cooler than they already were.

For the bachelors, I headcanon Shane as the oldest and Sebastian as the youngest (just barely younger than Sam)

For me it’s Shane (early 40s), Harvey (late 30s at youngest, likely early 40s), Elliott (early to mid 30s), Alex (mid 20s), Sam (early to mid 20s), and Sebastian (a few months younger than Sam). Shane and Harvey are pretty close in age (maybe two years apart max) to me.

Alex is the odd one out for the bachelors with no one super close in age to him but honestly he’s the healthiest physically of all the bachelors (Shane probably sees Alex all fit and healthy and thinks “man I remember when my body wasn’t failing me, what a time” and then gets up and his back and knees crack uncomfortably). Harvey is probably next after Alex, then Sam (skateboarding is physically taxing so him being fit makes sense to me), then Elliott (I can see him doing light exercise everyday just to make sure he gets some movement in), then Shane (lifting boxes at Joja plus helping on Marnie’s ranch will at least make sure he has some exercise), and then finally Sebastian, who I’m pretty sure hasn’t ran or done anything physically active since the equivalent of high school gym class.

stranger things summer headcanons because tis the season

mike is that stubborn idiot who halfway gets heatstroke from wearing twelve layers of clothing in the 90 degree heat.

lucas and max are carnival CHAMPIONS. they go on all the rides, eat all the cotton candy. once they’re in there, they won’t leave until it closes for the night.

will really likes swimming. however, he prefers the lake over the pool, because it’s less crowded. he ends up teaching swimming lessons to all the toddlers over break, and mothers love him to death for how gentle he is.

dustin and erica have a weekly tradition of loitering around family video on saturdays. it’s one of their busiest days, so their annoyance has put (the very prone to distraction) robin and steve’s job’s in jeopardy too many times. keith watches them with a very keen eye, once proclaiming to dustin that he’ll have his head if there’s any further funny business.

at the beginning of the warmer months, max likes to get an extremely short haircut to avoid the heat.

mike’s incessant boredom always has him picking up new hobbies, or enhancing the ones he has over the summer. he’ll learn to make friendship bracelets, or to skateboard with max’s spare (on the off chance she lets him), or write half a novel.

el became a daily patron of their local ice cream store the very second that max explained to her what a waffle cone was.

lucas once caught dustin watching my little pony with his sister, and while his confusion and nonstop laughter was prominent at first, he was very quickly thrown into the viewing. the three now meet up as often as they can to watch together.

mike works at the movie theatre, partly for the money, but mostly because he likes knowing first which new horror and fantasy movies are coming to hawkins. his vast knowledge delights will, and improves their movie visits together.

erica built a treehouse a little ways away from her house, which is the frequent location of midnight ghost stories galore with her friends.

the byers’ yard is vast and empty, the perfect location for bonfires. whenever possible, the whole party bands together to throw a bonfire bash, complete with jonathan’s killer smore’s.

while dustin goes to camp know where in june, lucas attends a basketball camp. there, his investment in the game grows, and he’s able to make a ton of friends who show him awesome tricks and techniques.

Bradley Uppercut III x Kaito „Clio” Matsuda to be more precise

Some headcanons about Kaito:

Clio is an exchange student from Japan. He studies Japanese culture anthropology and history

He comes from a very rich family with long history reaching Azuchi-Momoyama period. His relationship with his male relatives however is very strain

Clio is a half-blood- his mother was a french Romani woman, while his father is full japanese

This caused our poor boy to have a lot of complexes about his heritage from mother’s side back in elementary and high school. Mostly it was caused by his relatively darker skintone and curly hair (he actually straightens his hair to this very day).

He recently got over it and now prefers his more Roma nickname. He actually dislikes being called by his surname or real name.

He was very hated by middle school teachers for his unruliness. At some point, when they forced him to cut his hair, he purposely failed his tests and assignments as a form of protest for ridiculous standards. When Clio was allowed to grow his hair back, he rewrote all his tests near perfectly and got very good grades from then on.

He became somewhat of a hero and symbol among other students, who also started failing their tests and assignments en masse on purpose so the school would be forced to loosen restrictions on appearance (ot worked)

As you can guess, he was a delinquent with a heart of gold.

Also, although I didn’t draw it, he vapes. A lot.

Back to ship with Bradley

When Clio started attending the exchange program, his first encounter with Bradley was quite hostile. Bradley basically challenged him to prove his superiority by (inserting casual racism) showing off his karate skills. Bradley later regretted it with black eye from him.

They somewhat reconciled after Clio showed him off his ice skating skills on the rink and Bradley invited Clio to Gamma Mu Mu as their sportsman.

And Bradley had lots of issues understanding cultural differences of Clio, like him sleeping on floor mattress, spending an hour in a bathroom, eating soup for breakfast or taking off shoes upon entrance to frat house.

Clio COULD NOT stand living with other gammas (aside from Tank and Bradley). He always found a lot of their habits very annoying to bear (like leaving empty beer bottles, leaving laundry mess or not cleaning regularly).

Their romance began to grow once they started tutoring each other. Bradley was tutoring Clio in English and skateboard, while Clio tutored Bradley in Math and ice skating.

They tried to dismiss their feelings towards each other. Eventually, thinking his love is one way, Bradley confessed his love to Clio, expecting ridicule, only for him to clap back with that he also has feelings for Bradley.

They thought that nobody knows about them being gay and that they must keep it a secret. However, their love in reality was an open secret among gammas. There were so many situations where they caught the lovebirds sleeping on sofa together or that Bradley accidentally once left out a clearly love letter to Clio in the locker. But in the end, Gammas were absolutely fine with their leader being gay. In fact they made sure nobody bullied Bradley and Clio on prom night.

After graduation, Bradley has chosen to go with Clio back to Japan and find study opportunity

Now headcanons about their love

Clio os the dom, Bradley is the sub.

Clio is the one who cooks, while Bradley is the one who cleans after dinner.

Bradley doesn’t mind Clio calling him „Brad” anymore.

When sleeping, Clio always has to cuddle Bradley like a pillow all night and wriggle around their futon with him.

Clio also tutors Bradley in japanese.

Their favorite time of the year are Hanami and Christmas (they eat a lot of KFC on holidays)

Both fathers of the boys disapproved their love, but after some time (and mr. Uppercut and mr. Matsuda eventually met) they just let it fly.

Headcanon time!

For over a year, Goofy has been feeling like there was a huge hole in his heart and he didn't know why. The Ruler has returned, his friends are coming back and the valley was slowly recovering, so what was missing?

He didn't know until one day, while he was cleaning his house, he came across a chest with things that look familiar; a trophy, skateboard and two boxes.

In the big box was a stack of CDs of an artist named "Powerline" and that's when Goofy remembers his son, Max who left to find some help. It broke his heart knowing that it took him this long to remember his boy. But the pain doesn't end there.

The other box was a lot smaller and inside was a ring. Taking a closer look, he sees it's mood ring and that's when he remember his wife, Sylvia who went with Max looking for help.

Why didn't he go with them? Because Max told him to stay behind to look out his baby sister.

Bonus headcanon: Mickey, Minnie and Goofy kind of adopted Rose when she was little.
