I was gonna ask if Stacey was supposed to be the same as mean prom orange julius Stacy, but then why would Nancy be hanging out with some random middle school girl?
the meaningful zoom on Stacy's reaction when Nancy dances with Dustin made me feel like Stacy knew Nancy, but I guess it works without them knowing each other too.
but then why is she captioned as Stacy but credited on IMDB as Stacey?

El and Max don't feel like getting jobs so they just. don't. in their 20s they travel together, share an apartment here and there, and do whatever they feel like and absolutely nothing else.
in between carefully-spread-out Vegas hits with Will, when they need spending money they just go out and do a little magic and light grifting for an afternoon. El wows people with minor acts of telekinesis, but also knows a few card tricks to make it blend in as standard fare street magic. Max bets huge dudes she can beat them at arm wrestling and El makes it happen. etc.
they go home and eat ice cream out of the tub and count their cash and talk about where they wanna go next
