#and he is going to be protective uncle to Anakin’s and Padme’s kids

Rex would have a field day with Luke and Leia. His approach would be, “Yeah, I knew your parents. Fought alongside your father quite a bit. Here, let me tell you about some of the crazy ideas that we pulled off back in the day.”
Han’s nightmares take a very specific shape, especially once Rex does Anakin a posthumous solid and make Han’s life miserable. Someone has to make sure that a certain scoundrel is good enough for Leia, and Anakin isn’t there to do that. Yes, sure, she can take of herself, but it’s a matter of pride. Well, that and Han isn’t prepared for 501st shenanigans combined with hanging with the Bad Batch and years spent as an unhinged feral clone hunting jooba. Rex is an absolute menace when it comes trolling people, especially when he has nothing else to keep him occupied.
Rex would do the same for whoever Luke expresses romantic attachment towards. He’s an equally-opportunity protective surrogate uncle.
im not sorry

AU:
The twins have bodyguards. They have a whole company for each of them. They're Skywalkers/Kenobis/Tanos. They're as bad as their uncle/dad/aunt and need watching every single minute.
Ghost company follows Leia, Luke has Torrent but when it gets to much, they switch. Heck, the Bad Batch sometimes takes watch...If Hunter's feeling nice.
Hell, give the Padawans their battalions. Give the masters and knights their battalions. No Jedi is ever left alone. The Guard gets the Temple Guards. Fox has them all (GAR included) on a rotation within two minutes. The crechemasters are relaxing because the creche is full and the younglings are full of joy because of the new playmates.
The Alphas track down the wondering masters and refuse to leave. They are also dragged back to the main temple, they opened more because of the Vode, and given comms to "call in at least once every two months. We don't need more Jedi pretending they're dead."
Alpha 17 is the only one who sticks around the main temple. Mostly to bully Obi-Wan since Cody is wrapped around Leia's finger. At first 17 scoffs at Cody and Rex and etc for letting nat-born kids bully them until he meets Reva and Grogu. Then he gets laughed at since at least the others only have one youngling to watch out for.
The Jedi are just wondering what's going on. Anakin is pouting, Padme still died even getting actual care (a left over from Palpatine before he was taken out by Fox and a living Fives.), because Rex is ignoring him. No, Rex is not ignoring you, he's just busy keeping Luke from becoming too devilish with an angel's smile. Leia's already a lost cause but at least she listens to Cody... sometimes.
Ahsoka and Barriss are watched by Appo (Ahsoka actually told Rex to take Luke, she be fine with Jesse but Appo decided to take her since Jesse and Hardcase got Anakin. For now. Fives gets Anakin when he reveals himself. Then Jesse went to help back to Ahsoka.) (Kix technically has custody of all of them. Well him and Stiches, the 212th's main medic.) and Maker, Gree's SIC when Ahsoka came back. Neither are allowed anywhere near any dark siders for a long time. Actually they aren't allowed out of the temple unless it's a diplomatic mission. With their master/grandmaster only.
Anakin's pouting (to get back to him) so Fives decides he's taking Anakin out to find himself (blow something up, free slaves, etc) while the twins are placed in the creche for a month or so to give Ghost and Torrent some rest. Now granted it was only supposed to Fives, Jesse, Hardcase, and Kix (they needed a medic and Kix overheard and said he was coming.) BUT Obi-Wan felt Anakin's happiness and confronted him about it and then decided he's going along. Which meant Wooley was going, which meant Longshot told Boil, who told Waxer, who told Cody, who told Rex, who decided he was going also.
Cody sighed and ordered Ghost and Torrent to suit up. They were all going since they're Generals WILL get in trouble and yes, Ahsoka, you may come. Heck, let's just let anyone who wants to come, come. So all of the knights and half the masters end up going. They were going to take only one Venator Destroyer but with so many coming they ended up taking about half the fleet.
Before anyone asks the Vode own the ships and have them in storage. So they say. In actuality the Venator Destroyers are stripped of all indentible features on the outside and are used to clear out the main temple. The main temple which is now just gone. Surprising Coruscant who doesn't know what happened (when the last of their people were on the Destroyers, the temple vanished. It showed up again when they decided on the main planet for the Jedi.
So while the twins and younger Padawans, that aren't 15/16, are watched over by the crechemasters and the Vode that stayed behind, the rest that wanted to go on a spree freeing slaves and just going back to being Jedi. It relaxes everyone and while the Vode still follow and protect their Jedi, they do let them out and about without them... sometimes. (Feemor and Rael are the only ones in the lineage that can and do leave without an escort. No one else in the lineage can claim that. Though even they sometimes need to be watched.)
Yes, the twins see Padme's family but they're closer to their aliit. They try but since they're both force sensitive, and not hiding it for years, the twins can tell that it hurts the Naberrie's to see them (Leia might look like Padme but Luke has her compassion and both have even more traits of Padme) so it's just...easier to only see them once a year and then every couple years. Even Anakin isn't well received since the Naberrie's blame Anakin for Padme's death (Anakin blames himself for the longest time until his therapist finally gets through to him. It was a combination.) even though it was proven to be Palpatine...it's just easier to stay with the aliit.
This started with me just wanting to give Luke and Leia their aliit and dang, I went a lot more than I thought I would. Oh well.

Vader Tries to Help
People encouraged me to share the dead dove concept! Yay! It’s a horrible concept with an undertone of comedic absurdity in the sense that you keep waiting to see what awful, incredibly stupid thing Vader is going to do next. Like it’s horrifying but it’s also very dumb.
By moving forward into the fic, you acknowledge that this is intended to be dark and liable to be upsetting, and that you are taking responsibility for your own engagement with the material.
This AU was helped along on discord by several parties but tbh I’m not sure how many of them actually want to be named.
Warnings: Mutual Extremely Dubious Consent (forced by a third party), drugging, irrational behavior (Vader), nonconsensual body modification, forced pregnancy, imprisonment, threatened torture of a child (not followed through on)
----------
Vader captures Obi-Wan a few years into the Empire. Because Vader is Anakin, but even worse on the emotional bullshit, he decides that he needs to keep Obi-Wan safe but harmless. Vader also got Luke in the whole 'capturing Kenobi' situation, so part of what Vader's thinking about all this is that Obi-Wan tried to protect The Baby and so Vader kind of owes him, obviously.
Palpatine lets him keep Obi-Wan "safe," because threatening Obi-Wan is a convenient way to make Vader shut up and do what he's told. Palpatine can kind of tell that threatening the toddler would make Vader lose his shit and attempt to kill good ol' Palps, so threatening the middle-aged depressed alcoholic being kept in Vader's guest room with Force-nullifying cuffs is pretty good. It's an additional layer of emotional torture on top of the electrocution of Vader himself!
Vader has Obi-Wan taking care of Luke, mostly, because Vader has Obligations and A Job, and Obi-Wan wouldn't hurt Luke, duh. He might try to escape with the kid, but he won't be successful, and Obi-Wan will definitely put Luke's safety first, so that probably won't happen.
This is all fairly normal for a variety of AUs, granted, and not very dark.
But see, Obi-Wan behaves. He's aware of how tenuous the situation is for him and his charge, so he plays nice. And Vader decides to reward that.
By giving him Cody.
There's an implied thought process there that Obi-Wan was fond of Cody, and Cody was fond back, and now that the Jedi aren't around, they can follow through instead of worrying about some silly Code. Vader's nullified the orders to kill all the Jedi, of course, possibly dosed their food with an aphrodisiac so they don't try to talk themselves out of What They Obviously Want.
Now, we’re going to make it a little darker, because why not make things worse by having Vader try to make things better?
Vader somehow twisted himself around to encouraging them to have a baby. This is accomplished through a combination of Sith Magic and nonconsensual surgery, and lots of questionable drugs.
Obi-Wan just wakes up in a hospital bed with a womb one morning, and is informed of the surgery then and there, after it’s already happened. The droid telling him about it is just like "in the Lord Vader's infinite kindness--" and Obi-Wan just.
Anakin.
What the fuck.
What in the actual fuck made you think this was a good idea.
(The Sith Chemicals, probably.)
I feel like Palpatine would maybe even order the pregnancy induction just to torture them by proxy because that's like eight levels of Fuck No and he barely has to do anything except tell Vader that he'd like to see what kind of children a Jedi Master like Obi-Wan has.
Luke needs friends, doesn't he?
Obi-Wan is having some very complicated emotions about all of this because Vader is, in his own absolutely insane way, trying to help.
Anakin wanted babies and Padme wanted babies so clearly, if Obi-Wan and Cody are in love, then they also want babies!
Cody and Obi-Wan very well might not be in love. Anakin definitely could have misinterpreted. It’s probably more angsty if they're just friends who ended up in this bullshit together.
(He's taking baby fever to new and somewhat horrifying heights, because... he would adore Obi's kids.)
(His family button is suprisingly large for a mass murderer.)
Vader Kindly Informs Bail That Obi-Wan Is Alive And Unharmed. Bail was a friend of Obi-Wan's, telling him this is only helpful and will keep Alderaan from getting more rebellious out of personal insult. Obviously.
Vader is almost offended when Bail implies he might hurt Obi-Wan. He kept his son safe, he owes him. Speaking of, don’t you have a child? How old is she, again? It would be Good for her to make friends, wouldn’t it? :)
Palpatine is just like... sitting back and eating evil popcorn as Vader runs around, ruining people's lives by trying to be less of The Worst than before.
Palps barely has to do anything, Anakin's fucking it up on his own!
Could have been just a sly "Kenobi is so attached to young Luke, but now that you've been reunited with your son, perhaps he'd be happier with a child of his own?" Come at it from both "make Obi-Wan happy" and "protect your relationship with Luke" angles.
Vader: I can't have babies anymore due to what you did to me on Mustafar. Obi-Wan: So you're punishing me by forcing me to have them instead? Vader: No! Children are a gift that you have been cruelly denied by the Order that held us in its chains! Obi-Wan: ...oh, right, you're insane. Forgot about that. Somehow.
Big dramatic speech about how the Jedi Order spent so long making them take lives, he’s giving Obi-Wan a chance to create it! To put something good and bright into the world!
Poor Cody is like. "General, I am very fond of you but I'm having a million panic attacks at the same time because of the mind control, and also Vader is under the impression that we're in love and I need to be your stud? I wasn't aware you could have children--" "I can't. Or at least, I couldn't, but Anakin is... creative." "...what."
I don't want to actually objectify Cody in the narrative past the point that Obi-Wan himself is, because nnnnngh racism and clone stuff, so I'm going to say Cody was in love with Obi-Wan, and would have been okay with at least discussing the whole baby schtick if not for the absolutely horrible circumstances.
Like if the war had ended normally, and Obi-Wan had expressed a desire to retire, unlikely as that was, then Cody may have suggested a dinner, and they could have gotten married and then eventually adoption...
(Cody had a lot of fantasies he didn’t let himself think about too hard.)
But no. It's this... weird Vader-inspired bullshit.
I'm just so invested in Vader trying to help but making things legitimately a million times worse.
He wants to help :) Oh god, he wants to help.
Why aren't people more appreciative of how hard I'm helping them? - the Anakin Skywalker story
With less time to stew and also getting handed what he wants, Vader could absolutely flip on a dime the second he saw Luke being protected, and go from “I hate you” to remembering that Obi-Wan said he loved him, and now he must keep Obi-Wan safe out of debt and he just... he’s playing house.
Vader throws Obi-Wan a baby shower after the pregnancy is confirmed. Bail is invited, because Obi-Wan doesn't have a lot of friends still alive. Vader decides Bail is top of the Obi-Wan’s Friends List.
This is the first time they've seen each other in two years. Obi-Wan is heavily pregnant despite Bail knowing full well he didn't have the plumbing for that before the Empire rose. Cody is there and emotionally exhausted but more lucid than most troopers. Luke is running up to Leia because New Friend!!!
....there may be MORE of the 212th and 501st at the baby shower, with “kill all Jedi” orders revoked, of course. But it will keep the children safe!! And Cody and Obi-Wan can see their surviving friends!!
Cody: I'd be much happier to see my surviving troopers if they didn't all still have chips in their heads. Obi-Wan: I feel much the same. Vader: [404 error]
Bail and his family might be there at blaster point, but aren't you happy to see them, Obi-Wan??
Obi-Wan's endless trauma is honestly somewhat curtailed by the incessant need to facepalm at Vader’s bullshit
Obi-Wan and Cody both outwardly have a very "there are much worse people I could be stuck with in this situation but obviously I wish I'd had a choice, no hard feelings" attitude at each other.
Internally, Cody is suffering because this is NOT how he wanted his crush to be realized, and Obi-Wan is just suffering, period.
Cody: How did he even choose which of us ends up pregnant? Obi-Wan: He thinks I need to be protected, and that he needs to keep me safe. Cody: ...he does realize that you're better at-- Obi-Wan: Cody, he's completely lost it. No! He doesn't realize!
I feel like over the course of the year or two this plot unravels towards Palpatine getting murder-deposed and Anakin getting locked down, part of the driving force to Vader not being Vader anymore is that Luke actually really loves Uncle Obi and always starts fussing and going "Ben's sad" whenever Vader dismisses what Obi-Wan wants in favor of what Vader thinks Obi-Wan wants, and Vader can't deny his child anything.
Luke cries because Palpatine Feels Wrong like, once or twice, and Anakin goes “oh, okay, assassination time.”

Agreed completely.
The Organas are used to be obeyed and Alderaan´s prosperity is good enough that they don´t question it and so their family are the uncontested leaders of the planet with the seat on the senate that comes with it.
On Leia and the Organas, I believe the backstory of them not being able to have kids on their own makes all the difference in their relationship to her compared to Owen and Beru relationship with Luke.
Bail´s words when Yoda asked for homes for the kids were "I can take her, she will be loved with us" he didn´t mean to share with her or others her connection to her biological family, he meant to adopt her fully as his daughter and that´s all right, that´s awesome because they truly loved her as their own and their privilege and power could keep her protected, Palpatine didn´t dare going agaisnt Alderaan before having the death star, he is a politician and going after one of the most powerful core worlds wasn´t in his best interest at the beggining of the Empire.
Unfortunately, Bail´s wish to make Leia fully his own daughter, also meant Leia never learned much about her biological family, not even her mothers name or about her family on Naboo, on this I believe their love also cut possibilities for Leia but it wasn´t malicious, just some selfishnes on their part because Bail and Breha are human and used to get their way.
Leia from the beggining wasn´t chosen the be a jedi, she was adopted 100% while Luke was chosen to be the one who would oppose his father, the one chosen to kill him if neccesary, Obi-Wan´s thoughts were "Anakin survived Tatooine, so Luke will as well" and so he was send to Tatooine, to Anakin´s family.
This is why I like to compare the Organa´s with Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru because they had very different povs.
Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru not only shared with Luke his father´s name, they allowed him to keep it and probably would have told him their mothers name if they knew it, they probably suspected but were not sure Padme was his Mom. The reason is simple, they loved Luke but also loved Luke´s family, they knew Shmi, they loved and respected her, the first words Owen tells to Anakin are "I guess we are brothers" Owen wanted to be Anakin´s brother mostly because of Shmi telling him about Anakin and Anakin thought they were good people but his connection to the Order didn´t allow for a closer connection, So Owen and Beru are Luke´s family but tried not to keep his past from him and so were able to share with him the little they could share, because they wanted him to know his family. They adopted Luke because he was family.
I believe both did a great job raising the twins but the Organas did it differently than Owen and Beru for very personal reasons.
Your choice of 4, 21, 25 for the choose violence asks!
What’s the worst part of fanon?
that Anidala would've been bad parents. like i dunno where it came from and i do not like it one bit. like what goes on, how did people reach this conclusion.
Best canon example of a healthy relationship in Star Wars?
taking this to mean all relationships not just romantic ones.
anakin and r2d2. the organas (they're adorable as fuck)
What’s your opinion on modern AUs? What makes a good one?
I love modern aus. im a slut for everything tbh. all of the modern aus i've read are amazing!!! but something that really hammers it in is when authors still use gffa places? like tatooine and stewjon and naboo are diff cities and the story is set in them. its not a deal breaker if people make anakin from us and obi from britain or whatever cus i love that too. but its nice to read the use of gffa places too!

i had a dream the other day that was basically a dinluke cowboy au and it has been HAUNTING me, so just allow me to deposit it upon you like my subconscious drop kicked it onto me:
Luke is a disabled veteran who has returned from war one hand lighter and several scars heavier. When he returns, his family, who are heavily involved in the politics/military of this fictional land, don’t understand his now jaded and melancholic view of both the world, but also the ideologies that they so strongly believe in, leading him to constantly feel like an outcast even among the people that he so dearly loves. They’re all passionate and strong-willed, but they still don’t understand, not his struggles with mental health or his new perspective, and it just makes things worse and worse and worse. Anakin is a general, and though he’s seen the gruesomeness of war firsthand, he’s also become desensitized to it and has anger-management issues, so he often almost finds a sort of refuge within the chaos of battle, so he clearly cannot even fathom the emotions and trauma that Luke is trying to sort through, much less know how to deal with them properly. Padme is a senator and cares deeply about the crimes and seemingly senseless violence occurring during the war, but she’s also a politician and knows how to play the long game, so when Luke comes to her, he leaves feeling misunderstood and pushed aside. Leia is the only one who seemingly understands, as the pair of them have a deep, intrinsic bond, but she doesn’t fully grasp Luke’s moods and doesn’t handle his breakdowns and flashbacks well. So everyone feels a little upset, a little unsettled, and a lot like they don’t understand why and how Luke has changed, which leads to Luke feeling more and more out of place within his own family. The war ends relatively soon after Luke’s return, which leads to parades which leads to awards which leads to balls and banquets, all of which Luke is forced to attend, his heart dragging but his head held high, because he’s an Amidala-Skywalker goddammit, and we have a certain responsibility and image to maintain to the public and everyone who endured so much. So Luke has to sit there through awards and boasts of glory and mentions of battle scars and it goes on and on and on, and he has to smile and bear it and accept the medal that they’re giving him because he did such a great service to his country and-he has a panic attack. A nasty one that leads to him having to flee from a ballroom, and outside to the gardens. Once he’s there, he realizes that he doesn’t want to go back in. At all. So he runs away. He just picks a direction and goes, stealing a car on the way (this is a modern au but also fictional countries because I don’t want to get into real politics, hooo boy no siree). In the middle of nowhere, he gets caught in a storm and basically crashes his car and passes out.
But when he wakes up! That’s when the fun begins.
He’s in this cozy sort of bedroom, and this hot guy is fast asleep in the chair beside his bed, and is that a little kid in his lap? Anyway, the hot guy wakes up, introduces himself as Din Djarin in the softest, most attractive voice Luke has ever heard with his own two ears, and doesn’t ask him where he’s from or what he was doing driving in the middle of bumfuck nowhere at 3 in the morning, so Luke is obligated to have a lil crush on him, even though he’s not sure about the kid. So he asks, and Din introduces him to his son Grogu, who waves at him and signs hello, because, as Din explains, he doesn’t speak much, and the foster system wasn’t too kind to him, so he’s got a little bit of trauma to work through. And Luke just, instantly falls in love with this soft dad and his cute little son who can shift his features from the biggest, most pleading puppy eyes ever to the face of a demented gremlin who will try to eat the frog he caught in the backyard, no matter how slimy it is, or how hard it tries to wriggle out of his hands. Din tells Luke that he can stay for however long he needs, because Luke’s kinda injured from his accident, and anyway, once he’s healed up, they always could use another hand on the farm. So Luke stays, and he meets all of Din’s other farm hands (and shitty friends). There’s Boba, who doesn’t talk much, but when he does it’s always something slightly ominous and menacing, and Luke thinks that his name sounds familiar...hey wasn’t he on the news for robbing a couple banks a few years back?...no, surely not..., Fennec, who speaks even less than Boba, and manages to be far, far more intimidating, but also helps Luke with his prosthetic and gives him fun little tips that always sound more like she’s cut off a lot more limbs than she’s lost. Cara Dune (who is not gina carano but i digress) is also there, and she’s just constantly a harbinger of chaos, but will babysit Grogu whenever Din wants to brood and stare longingly into the distance (or at Luke who’s also brooding as the sun sets but shhh). Bo-Katan and the gang are there, and while Bo-Katan grumbles about how the old ranch boss had different/better methods on how to run things, she still follows Din’s lead and helps him with the finances and taxes. They all take to Luke like a wildfire, because Luke is a sunshine boy who can make friends with literally anyone and somehow manages to make Din not only smile but laugh, but also because they can tell he’s got a lot of trauma and pain bubbling just under the surface, and they all silently but collectively agreed a long time ago that they are the patron saints of troubled and lost souls.
When Luke gets better and starts to help out, he’s constantly upset with himself because he used to help out at his aunt and uncle’s farm in the summers when he was a kid, and he knows how to do this stuff, but his prosthetic is really throwing him off and his body has sustained a lot of other injuries that make doing manual labor a much more different experience than it used to be, but everyone is really patient with him and helps him out, especially Din. At one point, Din is so nice that Luke just loses it, because he doesn’t understand how Din can be so kind and so patient, and care about him so much, and kind of calls himself broken and useless in front of Din, and Din gets super protective and grabs his hands (real and prosthetic) and tells him that he’s not broken or useless, and you’re so sweet and wonderful, and can’t you see? Ever since you’ve been here, everyone’s been so much happier, so much lighter. You’ve brought something precious to us, but most of all to me. And they’re standing really close and for a second Luke thinks Din is going to kiss him, but instead, Luke realizes that he’s crying, and Din just wraps his arms around him and holds him.
After that, time sort of blurs, marked by things like Grogu climbing into Luke’s bed because he sensed that he was having a nightmare, and Din waking up to find the pair of them coloring in a serene silence, Luke getting the hang of ranch life and his prosthetic and dealing with his panic attacks and flashbacks as they come, and Din enduring relentless badgering from his friends because hey, if you don’t marry Luke, I will and Fennec, you’re a lesbian and that doesn’t matter, it’ll be a marriage of twink and butch solidarity. And all the while, Din and Luke are spinning closer and closer towards each other, two suns hurtling in their orbit to the other with an inescapable certainty.
When it finally happens, they’ve just gotten back from one of those cowboy dances (idk what they’re called...hoedowns? yeah okay) (and yes, I wanted to hit all of the cliches in the book, thank you very much), and Grogu’s fallen fast asleep on Luke’s shoulder. After they tuck him up all snug in his bed, they head out to the porch, because it’s raining outside, and the steady thrum of water droplets splattering on the roof and on the grass is the most soothing sound Luke has ever heard (aside from Din’s voice), and he’s a little too afraid to go to sleep and ruin his perfect night with a nightmare. They stand there for a while, silence binding them together, shoulders brushing every now and then, hesitant and questioning. Luke thinks about how Din had asked him to dance earlier, his lips tilted in a teasing, but achingly soft smile, and how his heart had pounded a tattoo to the shape of his ribs when they’d pushed up so close together, the fast, rowdy dances of the beginning of the night having faded to something lasting, something meaningful. Luke remembers the ball he’d run away from, how the dancing had been cold, almost jeering in a way, and Luke realizes how far he’s come, how different it is here. And suddenly, there isn’t a question in his mind anymore. He turns toward Din, who turns toward him, and when he leans forward, Din breathes an uncertain “Luke-”, but he doesn’t get to finish the thought. Luke kisses him, and he kisses back, and it’s just them. There are hands in hair and noses nudged together, and at some point, they move, without either of them releasing the other, into the house and into Din’s bedroom. Buttons are unbuttoned, and whole stretches of skin are kissed, and when it’s over, they curl up together, Din tucking his head into the crook of Luke’s neck and falling asleep there.
When they wake up, Luke explains why he came here, why he ran away, all the while Din looks at him with his beautiful dark eyes and runs his hands through Luke’s hair, which is catching the sunlight filtering in through the window and making him look like he has a halo, all the while never once condemning him for keeping it a secret this whole time. After he’s finished, he expects some sort of shocked reaction-after all, his family’s pretty famous, but all Din does is kiss him and ask, “Wait, so you have a twin?”
It’s so unexpected that Luke throws his head back and bursts into uncontrollable, and very contagious peals of laughter, and when he’s finally able to breathe again, he kisses Din’s forehead and murmurs, “I love you.”
Din, who has been touch starved and lonely for years (no time for relationships when you’ve got a business to run and a toddler to raise), tears up and kisses him, too overwhelmed for words. But Luke understands.
And then Grogu pushes his way into the room holding up a box of Frosted Flakes above his head and shaking it, as if to say, I’d like to eat now, please.
Din and Luke stifle their smiles into the other’s shoulder, and when they get up, Luke can’t help but think that he’s finally where he belongs.
----
It takes approximately .5 seconds for all the others to figure out they’re together now, and Cara and Bo-Katan (of all people) start cheering immediately, to Din and Luke’s shock. Boba and Fennec grumble and begrudgingly hand over a huge wad of cash each to Cara and Bo-Katan because they thought it would take them at least another two weeks to get together. Din’s very done with his friends at this point, but he takes one look at Luke’s flustered but smiling face and decides he won’t kill them all this time.
And if everyone thought Luke was a lot of excitement for a humble ranch in the middle of nowhere, then they are in no way, shape, or form, prepared for when his very angry twin sister shows up with a himbo with a shit-eating grin and his 7 foot tall best friend she hired to track her brother down.
(needless to say, Boba punches Han within two minutes of interaction).

Star Wars but Padme accepts to rule the galaxy with Anakin
Probably to no surprise, I like the idea of Dark Padme. I like the idea of the whole family being dark...except Luke is this odd black sheep of the family who has, like, no idea his family may actually be evil (again, to no surprise). Just can't turn Sith. He's just this ball of Light and sunshine and, well, his family can't hold it against him. They're just a little extra protective over him. Leia probably got the Emperor killed when she was like seven cause she is just like that.
Maybe even Uncle Obi-Wan (with his husband Cody, cause I adore Codywan) are part of it too...and Rex and Ashoka of course. They all live, just are a smidge evil, and handled Order 66 well. Obi-Wan is the lesser of the evils and so he gets to help train Luke the most. He's just there to try to keep as much order and Light as possible in this crazy new galaxy. He lets his high ranking commanding purge trooper husband go and be evil for the both of them. He's happy looking after the sweet youngling, thanks (which they all probably agree on cause, really, Obi-Wan deserves a super early retirement and just looking after a kid and to get naps...he and Luke are very much alike in that they shoulder way too much and don't friggen get any sleep).
Or, Obi-Wan and Yoda realized what was happening. Maybe had a droid programmed to tell Padme the older twin didn't make it, as they could only sneak out one, and they get Luke somewhere else to try and protect at least one child from the Dark side.
Regardless, Padme would be the more benevolent and political ruler. She would probably be more of the empress with Vader as her right hand--cause, look Anakin, even as Vader, ruling?? Nah. He is the face of the Empire, he is the terrifying force of it...Padme is the one who understands politics and taxes and credits and the like. She just lets her husband go and blow things up and cause mayhem.
I do love the idea of this terrifying family just strolling through the Death Star (no, no Luke, sweetie, it doesn't kill people! it...uh...makes people smile!) and monstrous Darth Vader (who is in a suit but doesn't need to be; it's for the Skywalker Dramatics) instantly hurries over when one of his babies falls face first somewhere and starts crying and he is cuddling them and pretending to use the Force to make their ouchies go away. Then probably fifteen minutes later he's killing someone. Anakin can do it all.
Padme handles meetings and delegates and probably makes it that there is no need for a rebellion because she makes the whole take over a lot easier and seems nicer (Palpatine has nothing on her). She does want to make the galaxy better and not just rule out of power.

Into The Dark- Chapter 1
Pairing: Jedi!OC x Sith!Obi Wan
Word Count: 4.5K+
Story Rating: E (18+)
Chapter Rating: Just assume they’re all E at this point.
Warning: Swearing. Threats of violence. Mentions of death/dying. Mention of war. Drugging. Snark. Angst. (I mean seriously if you know me you know angst is gonna happen)
A/N: This is the beginning! If you haven’t read Hypnotic this story isn’t going to make much sense to you. If you have read Hypnotic, welcome back! I hope you’re ready to be sad lol. Anyway, enjoy and let me know if I missed any tags!
“Darling, you can’t be serious. There is no way that you’re going.”
“I am being serious, and I am going. This isn’t really a discussion. I’ve already made up my mind.”
“Explain it to me. Please?”
Zara sighed and sat down next to her husband. Obi Wan smiled at her softly, brushing her hair back.
“Mace called me. Palpatine got loose which shouldn’t surprise anyone. I wouldn’t care but.. he took Cody.”
“Cody? Who the hell is Cody?”
They both looked up to Anakin walking in, a four-year-old Leia on his hip.
“Zara!”
She slipped down Anakins leg and bolted into Zara’s arms. She laughed and giggled as Zara held her close and spun her.
“Oh, my beautiful little Leia. Couldn’t let your daddy go without you?”
“Nope! Gotta watch him. Mama says so.”
Anakin rolled his eyes but laughed.
“I came here to help you, Obi Wan, but if that slimeball took Cody there is no talking her out of it.”
“The clone?”
“My friend.”
Zara snapped and glared at the blonde. He held his hands up defensively and sat back, crossing one leg over the other.
“Yeah, Oh-bee. Her friend!”
Zara laughed and kissed the girls cheek.
“That’s right. You get it. We protect our friends, no matter what.”
“No matter what!”
Zara set Leia down who immediately ran around the room getting into everything. Anakin sighed but Zara motioned for him to let her go. Out of the two, Leia was the well behaved one. She was busy but it was more out of curiosity than breaking anything. Luke was more likely to break things just to see how they worked.
“The question I have is why you didn’t call me to help you.”
“Mace was very clear that neither you nor Obi Wan were welcome on this mission.”
“So, you’re working for the Jedi. Again.”
“No, sweetheart. I am helping them get my friend to safety. We all know how dangerous Palpatine is.”
“All the more reason for me to be by your side.”
“Can’t say I disagree with the Sith, Zar.”
Zara rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
“No. Both of you will stay here. Anakin you have a family now. Your kids and wife are top priority. I’m not letting you get dragged into Jedi shit again. And you, my love, don’t play nice.”
“How rude, darling.”
“Rude, but correct. You don’t play nice with the Jedi and frankly I’m not letting you get near Palpatine again. He controlled you once.”
“So, you don’t trust me.”
Anakin cleared his throat and called for Leia. She ran over and jumped into his arms, holding on tightly.
“C’mon sweetheart. Aunt Zar needs to talk to her domesticated Sith.”
“Mama says you need to be nice to uncle Oh-Bee.”
“Well, mama isn’t here.”
“Good thing I am so I can tell her how mean you are to Aunt Zar’s husband who she loves very much.”
“It’s complicated, Leia.”
“Nope. Everyone duh-serves forgiveness, daddy. Plus, he makes Aunt Zar happy.”
Anakin sighed and looked at Zara for help, but she crossed her harms and shrugged.
“And don’t say its com-pluh-cated. You made Aunt Zara cry before. She forgave you. So, you should be nice.”
“You sound a lot like your mother.”
“Good! She’s the smartest person I know.”
Zara chuckled as Anakin sighed, defeated, and left the small home. She turned back to Obi Wan who had been watching her.
“We have a good life, Zara.”
“I agree.”
“Then why are you leaving?”
She sighed and let her shoulders slump slightly.
“Obi Wan, Cody meant a great deal to me. We worked together for a long time. I know that you don’t really work with anyone or play nice. It’s just when you work with someone for so long they become like family to you.”
“Not to be rude, but you left him before.”
“I left the entire order. I trusted the Jedi to keep the clones safe. They were to have their inhibitor chip removed and retired with honor. That isn’t what happened.”
“Well, your first mistake was trusting the Jedi.”
She sighed in frustration and got up off the couch. She put more things in her bag before turning to look at her husband.
“I need you to trust me. I need you to understand that a friend needs help.”
“And I need you to understand, my darling, that I know Sidious better than anyone on the Jedi counsel. What do you plan to do? Waltz in and tell him to give you your clone back and go back to jail?”
“Of course not.”
“Then what are you doing, Zara? This is reckless.”
“You wouldn’t save a friend if they were in danger?”
“I don’t have friends.”
“You wouldn’t save Anakin?”
“Absolutely not.”
Zara scowled and crossed her arms.
“Obi-Wan!”
“You could have picked anyone else we know, and I would have at least hesitated. That’s on you for choosing Anakin. It’s not like we’re the best of friends.”
“You wouldn’t save Padme? The twins?”
“I wouldn’t save them without you. I wouldn’t even dream of going without you.”
“Palpatine controlled you once.”
“Sidious had control; it was not over me. If you recall I convinced him not to kill you and tricked him into thinking that you were becoming my obedient little plaything. I tricked him at every corner, and he had no idea until the very end. Tell me I am wrong.”
She fell silent, looking at him with sadness written all over her face.
“Then tell me what the true problem is. Tell me that you’re afraid I’ll feel the dark side too strongly and go back. This has nothing to do with me not playing nice. It has everything to do with the Jedi playing into your fear of the very darkness that I carry inside of me and using it to control you. How can you not see that?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Which part?”
Zara looked down at her feet and chewed at her bottom lip.
“None of it. Cody needs my help. If I want the help and the resources needed to help him, I must do it their way. I love you with all my heart. I truly do. Is there some truth to what you said? Yes. I think I’ll always be afraid of you turning fully to the dark and not needing me anymore. The darkness does scare me. I’ve never said anything contrary to it. Your darkness doesn’t scare me though.”
“If you trust me, then you have to also trust that darkness, Zara.”
“I have to do this, Obi Wan.”
“You really don’t. You can’t change my mind of this.”
“Then I guess we’re at an impasse.”
Obi Wan stood up and walked to her, placing his hands gently on her arms.
“I know nothing that I say will stop you from going. I’ve known the entire time we’ve discussed this. Just know that I strongly think you should take me with you. We’re stronger together. Always have been, even if we didn’t want to admit it at the time.”
“I have to do this.”
He nodded and kissed her forehead, holding her close to him.
“Come back to me.”
“Wouldn’t dream of not coming back to you.”
“Don’t make me come looking for you either.”
She laughed and wrapped her arms around his torso, resting the side of her face on his chest.
“I mean it, Zara. I will tear this galaxy apart before I let anyone, or anything keep us apart.”
“I believe you.”
“Good. Just don’t ever let yourself forget that.”
XXX
Zara stepped down the ramp of her ship and pulled her saber into her hand, igniting it. She looked at the burned orange hue of it and thought of the man waiting for her. When she had settled onto Naboo, one of the first things she did was make a saber with the crystal he had given her at the ball.
Now she was glad for it. It reminded her of him and everything that she was always fighting for. It wasn’t as beautiful as his eyes, but it was close enough to bring her some peace. She wasn’t thrilled about not having him there, but she knew it was the best thing she could do.
She thought about their argument quite a bit on her trip. Obi Wan had been right about her fear. She feared losing him more than she feared losing her own life. The last thing she wanted to happen was for Palpatine to get his hands on him again. She couldn’t risk it.
The same went for Anakin. He had already twisted him beyond breaking once. He had no training with the darkness that he now carried. She had wondered if Obi-Wan could teach him but never brought it up. They didn’t get along and it came down to how much the darkness scared her.
It hurt her heart how much Obi-Wan was hurting. She didn’t do it to harm him, but it didn’t change that it did. Zara desperately wanted to get Cody to safety and go back to her life. They both deserved to be done fighting and yet there she was fighting another battle for the Jedi.
She made her way down the hallway and felt through the force. She sighed when she felt a familiar signature and moved into a wide-open room. In the middle of the floor was Cody, hands bound in front of him. Zara looked around to check for any traps but when she didn’t see any, she walked to her old friend.
“General?”
“Just Zara, Cody. I’m not a general anymore.”
“You.. you shouldn’t have come.”
“Of course, I did. You’re my friend. As soon as I found out you were missing, I came.”
“You don’t understand, General. That’s exactly what he wanted.”
“Who? Palpatine?”
“I’m so sorry.”
She knelt down to look at him and picked his head up to look at her gently. Her eyes widened when she saw that he had tears brimming his eyes.
“Cody, why are you sorry? We’ve talked about this in depth. I don’t care that you’re a clone. You mean-“
“I’m not the only one that knows your soft spot for clones, General. I can’t.. I’m so sorry.”
Before Zara could ask him what was wrong, she felt a jab in her arm. She looked down to see Cody sticking a syringe into her arm and push the plunger down all the way. She yanked her arms away and fell backwards onto her butt.
“Cody?”
“I told you.. you shouldn’t have come. I’m so sorry, General.”
The binders fell off Cody’s wrists and he stepped forward, pulling Zara up into his arms. The world was spinning so she shut her eyes, desperately wanting it to stop.
“I have her, sir.”
“Very good, CC-2224. Just as I expected. Bring her here. Destroy her ship before you do.”
“Yes, sir.”
Zara lost consciousness as Cody carried her to his ship. He set her down gently, placing her saber on his waist. Once she was settled, he walked over to her ship and looked through her belongings. He pulled out a few holo pictures that he clicked on. A small smile spread on his lips when he saw Anakin alive and well with Padme and two children. The other ones were of her and the Sith that had taken her. He had been worried when he first heard she had left the order with him but was assured it was her choice.
“You look so happy, General. Exactly what you should be.”
He closed his hands around the holos and slipped them into his pocket. He glanced at the dashboard and saw the emergency signal. He hesitated then reached past it, “accidentally” hitting the emergency button. When he stood up walked outside and waited.
“Stars, I hope that signal gets to someone.”
After a few moments he stepped back and shot at the fuel tank, exploding the ship as instructed. Once he made his way back into the ship and checked on Zara, he hit the coordinates for where he needed to go.
“I know you can’t hear me, General. I just hope you know I wouldn’t do this unless I had any other choice. I’ll do what I can to keep you safe. Hopefully General Skywalker and your Sith can find you in time.”
Once they were into hyperspace, he pulled her saber from his waist and looked at it. It was new from what he remembered, but still beautifully made. He expected nothing less from his former General.
He thought back on the first time he saw her. She showed up to command his troops with a smile on her face. He initially thought that she was going to be a weak leader and weakness meant death to clones. He had been so wrong.
She was the first Jedi to show compassion towards him and his men. She grieved their deaths just as much as he did. Nights when he was up wrestling with the pain of losing someone, she was always right by his side. She didn’t need to; the mission was always finished. She wanted to. She wanted them all to know that they were all individual people to her, regardless of where they came from.
She made it easy to run into the heat of battle. It wasn’t that he didn’t ever want to. He believed in his own fighting and trusted his brothers. It just came down to the fact that he wasn’t fighting for her. He was fighting alongside her.
He ignited the blade and widened his eyes when a new color came out. He didn’t know the particulars of the Jedi and their blades, but he had never seen a blade that color before. Cody looked down at his hand holding the hilt and frowned.
He had hurt her. What was even worse was the possibility that she would never forgive him for what he did. The chip had been deactivated before Order 66 could be initiated but somehow Sidious still had a hold over him. He had gotten close enough to him to activate it just enough to make him obedient. He glanced back at Zara asleep and shook his head.
“We will find a way to get out of this, General. We always do. Somehow, we will get you back to your happiness. Maybe I’ll even find a bit of it myself.”
He chuckled to himself and shook his head again.
“Look at me, thinking a clone can be anything more than a tool. You’d think I’d learn by now. Although you’d be yelling at me for even thinking that. Stars, General, I hope you don’t hate me forever for this.”
XXX
Mace sat in the council chambers alone. The last thing he wanted to do was call up Zara, but he didn’t see any other option. Once the war was ended, the Jedi no longer had the authority to do anything without the government’s approval. He knew that they wouldn’t send them for a single clone. As far as they were concerned Palpatine was no longer a threat. Not that the Jedi agreed with that at all.
When his coms went off with Zara’s emergency signal, he felt his chest get heavy. It ended just as quickly as it was received, but he knew the longer it took for her to message or call him, the worse that was. She had a propensity to bump into buttons, but she always called. He tried to call and was met with no answer. Master Yoda walked into the room and looked at him.
“Her signal went off then immediately went dead.”
“Feel it, do you? A great darkness, there is.”
“Yes. I feel it. It has to be Sidious.”
“Mmm. Yes. Suspect him, I do.”
“I’m going to have to reach out to Anakin and Veth.”
“Go. In much danger, she is.”
XXX
Obi-Wan sat in his home, reading the same book for the third time. As much as he wanted to reach out to Zara, he didn’t want her to think he was trying to distract her or force her back home. It was killing him though. Even just hearing her voice would make him feel better. He looked up from his book when he heard a ship land close by. Before he could stand up, Anakin was bursting into the house.
“Sith, it’s the Jedi.”
“Is Zara with them?”
“It’s only Master Windu.”
“Shit.”
He followed the younger man outside just in time to see Windu walking closer. He clenched his jaw, not wanting to see the Master Jedi at all.
“Anakin. Veth.”
The three men looked to the side as Padme and the twins came running out of their home.
“Wow, even your children are strong with the force.”
Anakin stepped in front of Mace and set his jaw; his hands balled into fists at his side.
“Don’t even look at them. They will never be hurt by you or the council.”
“I’m not here for your children, Anakin.”
“Where is my wife.”
Mace turned to look at Veth who was standing with his arms crossed over his chest. He still looked just as cocky to Mace as he had when he was a child, but the darkness swirling around him was new. It was the first time they had faced each other, other than through a holo communication.
“We should go inside. Small ears don’t need to hear this conversation.”
Anakin glanced over at Obi-Wan, who nodded back at him. Anakin looked back at Padme and gave her a tight smile before following Obi-Wan into the house. Once Mace made it through the door, Obi-Wan used the force to slam it behind him, smirking when the master Jedi jumped.
“If it weren’t for the children, you wouldn’t be welcome in this home. Now tell me, where is my wife and why is she not here with you?”
“She made it to where we though Sidious was with the clone trooper.”
“Cody.”
“What?”
“His name is Cody. You sent my wife to find him and don’t even have the courtesy to use the name she knows him by.”
Mace rolled his jaw and sighed.
“Cody. My apologies. She made it there safely and sent a communication she was heading inside the building. From there, we lost contact. Soon after, her emergency signal reached us and turned off within a few seconds.”
“And nothing since?”
“Nothing.”
“Sidious has her. That emergency signal was a mistake. Where is she.”
Obi-Wan was seething. Her being taken was exactly what he was afraid of, and he was completely powerless to change what was happening. The more he thought about how terrible Sidious was and how much she could be hurt, the more the room started swirling with darkness. Mace put his hand on his own saber and took a step back.
“Please calm down, Veth.”
“You called up my wife, the woman that I love more than anything in the galaxy and asked her to go on a fool’s errand with no backup. Then you come here and tell me that Darth Sidious, the most dangerous man I have ever met likely has her. Now you expect me to calm down. After everything you’ve done to me you’re lucky you’re still breathing. Let alone what you’ve done to her. She came to me broken, Master Windu. She came to me lost and afraid that she had lost every bit of her life and soul because she couldn’t live with your lies anymore. You nearly forced her to kill her best friend. Now you sent her into the hands of a madman. Tell me, why in the galaxy should I calm down?”
“I understand that you’re upset.”
Obi-Wan barked out a laugh and crossed his arms again.
“You don’t understand anything that the Jedi didn’t shove down your throat. Tell me where she is. I will go bring her back home where she belongs.”
“I’m going with you.”
Obi-Wan looked at Anakin and frowned. He could feel how unstable Anakin felt. The normal darkness around Obi-Wan he was used to, but the pure rage he was harnessing was drowning him. It wasn’t ever something that was discussed but he would never be able to fully get away from the dark side. It just wasn’t possible.
“You aren’t stable enough, Skywalker.”
Obi-Wan shot his finger out to point at Mace, shaking his head.
“You don’t get to tell him what to do, Mace. The audacity that you Jedi have. It is absolutely astounding that you thought you could walk into my home and tell anyone under this roof what to do.”
“You know he isn’t stable. I can’t be the only one who feels it.”
“What he is or isn’t is no problem of yours. Just give me the coordinates and I will take care of getting Zara back.”
“I want to help.”
“You have done enough. Now, if you will, I have much to do and none of that involves catering to you being in my home. You’re tarnishing the air and I won’t have it a moment longer.”
Mace sighed and shook his head, setting down a data stick with the coordinates and information about the ship she had been using. He thought about asking him how he planned on helping him, but he thought better and walked through the door. Once he left Anakin huffed out a frustrated sigh and grabbed the stick.
“Alright let’s go.”
“You aren’t going.”
“What!?”
Anakin spun around to glare at Obi-Wan.
“You just said-“
“I said he doesn’t get to come into my home and tell anyone what to do. That does not mean I don’t agree with him. You’re unstable. You have been for a long time.”
“I’m fine.”
“Tell me that my darkness didn’t affect you then.”
Anakin opened his mouth a few times and shut it, without uttering a word.
“Exactly. You have a family here that needs you.”
“Zara is my family too, Veth.”
“Stars above I wish you’d stop calling me that.”
Anakin smirked and crossed his arms over his chest.
“Why do you think I call you that?”
“You’re insufferable. I pity your former master. You wouldn’t have lasted five minutes having been my padawan.”
“Oh, I don’t know about that. I’m a lot stronger than you think I am.”
“I gladly would have tossed you off the first cliff we found. I considered it when we found you if I’m being entirely honest. Ungrateful brat that you are. You’re lucky when I shoved you it was to your safety.”
“I still don’t fully believe that was you. I don’t remember you being so smug.”
“No need for you to. It wouldn’t be the first time that you ignored the reality around you to construct fantasies that mean absolutely nothing to anyone else.”
“You’re an ass, do you know that?”
Obi-Wan barked out a laugh as he started gathering his supplies.
“Oh, I’ve been told. The fact of the matter is that you are not stable enough to come with me. I need to focus on Sidious and whatever he has planned. I can’t babysit you through your temper tantrums, reckless behavior and propensity to disobey any form of authority within a parsec of your location.”
Anakin frowned and huffed out a sigh.
“Then teach me.”
“Teach you? If Padme can’t control you, I highly doubt anyone else can.”
“I’ll listen! I’m not asking you to turn me to the dark side. I just.. I’m the only person in this situation that even remotely trusts you. If you would just help me, I can help you then we both can help Zara.”
He sighed and looked at the younger man in front of him. He meant what he had said to Zara: if given the choice he would not save him. He had a point though. He was someone he could trust to at least want to help his wife. After considering it for a moment he sighed and tossed his hands up in the air.
“Fine. Only if you go tell Padme that it is entirely your idea and that I was opposed to it from the beginning. You will listen to me and do as I tell you to. I will teach you how to control yourself at least enough to help Zara. Beyond that, just stay out of my way.”
“Yes! I’ll go grab my bag and let Padme know what is going on.”
Anakin head towards the door but paused when Obi-Wan spoke to him.
“And Anakin? The first time you aggravate me I’m shoving you out the airlock. Don’t think that I won’t either. I’ve killed for less.”
XXX
Cody carried a still unconscious Zara into a dark room, only having the very center lit up dimly.
“CC-2224 I see you have returned successfully.”
“Yes, sir.”
The shadow of a man stepped forward, using the force to push Zara’s hair from her face. Cody thought that she looked almost peaceful curled up in his harms, her face resting against his chest.
“You have pleased me, trooper. Now the next part of my plan begins. Take her to her chambers. She is not to leave unless I command it.”
“Sir, am I permitted to stay with her?”
“Yes. Keep her calm. Give her a reason to stay here. Though I don’t expect her to be on board with everything I say, at first, this entire plan is contingent on her falling in line.”
“Yes, sir.”
Cody turned, walking down a long hallway. Once he entered Zara’s chambers, the door shut and locked behind him. Normally it would have made him uneasy, but he was calmer knowing that he wouldn’t be separated from his former general just yet. He placed her down gently into the bed, careful to ensure she would be comfortable.
He pulled up a chair and sat down next to the bed, crossing his arms over his chest. He glanced down at the black armor that he now wore, unsure of how he liked it. He always wore armor, so it wasn’t new. It just made him uneasy at how dark it was.
When he shifted, he felt the holo pictures that he had taken from her ship. He pulled them out and turned on their display, looking at Zara’s family. He felt so much guilt and pain knowing that he was part of the reason she wasn’t home with them. Cody knew that nothing good was going to come from Sidious getting his hands on Zara, but he was determined that he wouldn’t let her forget where she belonged.
“I can’t let you forget something that you always deserved to have, Zara. I just can’t.”
Zara continued to sleep while Cody sat next to her. He was caught between his loyalty for her and his obligation to follow Palpatine. He wanted her to wake up, but he also was afraid of what she was going to say once she realized he had betrayed her.
“You’re so strong, General. If anyone can fix this, it’s you. I believe in you so much. Please have just a little bit of faith in me.”

honestly all i want in life is a luke + leia + rex + ahsoka teamup.
imagine the fit of hysterical, gut-busting laughter rex would have when he learned that not only did that little shit named general skywalker have secret illegal children, but also that not one, but two skwalkers were behind the destruction of both death stars. because only the children of anakin himself could be so stupidly brave enough to throw themselves 110% into the rebellion like there was no tomorrow.
also i want eccentric-and-cheeky-yet-infinitely-wise-and-unbreakably-loyal uncle rex to haul luke’s ass around the galaxy as they go on hijink after hijink, saving lives and finding baby jedi to train. i want rex to be in the middle of a firefight, watching with happy tears in his eyes as luke decimates a legion of enemies singlehandedly. i want him to have flashbacks of his glory days as luke casually holsters his lightsaber after not even breaking a sweat and motions for rex to follow him into their next sketchy-looking enemy hideout, and i definitely want rex to tell luke about all the crazy stunts he and anakin pulled back in the day
rex always, always respected his general, and i just know he would be so protective of this kid.
also he would absolutely quick-put-on-his-helmet when he meets leia so no one can see him cry (it was only one tear, dammit) because hell, this one’s crazier than her brother and he would see anakin in her eyes even more than in luke. he immediately silently swears his undying loyalty to these twins of chaos, without even realizing he did it. and so rex finds himself being accidentally adopted by both of them and ahsoka just laughs and laughs because suddenly they’re a family again and she can just feel anakin and padme sending their approval from beyond the grave, and rex realizes that he was always destined to be best friends with one skywalker or another
#i have a lot of feelings about ahsoka and rex and the skywalker twins#help#someone draw them as a big happy family pLEASE#captain rex#ahsoka tano#luke skywalker#leia organa#star wars

And Nothing Bad EVER Happened!AU Brainstorming
Y'all know the drill: If you're under the age of 18, DNI with this post/this blog. Nothing NSFW under the cut, but just in case~
So I'm going to put a bunch of these ideas in a fic/under a specific tag at some point, but I'm Having Thoughts™ about what exactly happens and how things work
First of all, nothing bad ever happened doesn't mean that nobody dies. Lots of people died. It was a fucking war, of course people died. But the war DOES end early in this AU - maybe Dooku gets killed by Anakin and Obi-Wan/the Jedi and Palpatine gets discovered. Maybe not killed so there's still high stakes, maybe the rest of the war efforts are spent trying to kill him and protect whoever will replace him (Bail Organa Bail Organa Bail Organa Bail Org-).
O66 obviously does not happen because like - come on. Palpatine was right there, how could they not sense the Dark Side just pouring off of him once he's realized he's been discovered? IDK, I can't claim to know all there is to know about Star Wars lore, but maybe someone manages to prevent him from sending the order out. And maybe the inhibitor chips are very secretly removed or deactivated in order to not arouse suspicion. (For personal reasons, I think the most important ones to start with would be the Guard/the 501st/212th.)
Honestly in this AU, I think one of the most poetic things that could happen is Anakin sacrificing himself to kill Sidious. Maybe it almost works - maybe while Sidious and Anakin are facing off against each other, Siddies almost successfully talks Anakin into turning against the Jedi. He's faced a lot of hardships becoming a Jedi - Sidious can offer him power, and can help him ensure that Padme never dies. But in this AU, Anakin perceives that as a threat against his wife. And his twins, who were born mere hours before this big fight. So he dies for her and his kids, in front of the members of the Council who'd come for the final showdown. IDK who lands the killing blow - maybe Obi-Wan, maybe Plo Koon, WHO KNOWS. But because of this, Anakin is still lauded as a hero, as the chosen one, because he resisted Palpatine's attempts and whittled him down so he could be killed.
Padme is never quite the same after his death, but I think she lives long enough to see Luke and Leia make it to their preteens-young adulthood. She's still a senator and a strong woman, but her heart just sort of breaks slowly over the years and she never recovers. I'm not gonna give her Disney-Mom-Syndrome and say she gets killed off while they're itty bitty children. Luke and Leia know that their parents loved them.
So obviously, with their dad gone, everyone around the Skywalker-Amidala family take on the 'it takes a village to raise a child' mentality. Uncle-Obi is arguably the closest father figure they have, though Rex and Cody come in at a very close second. Ahsoka also is a steady figure in their lives, and if anyone were to train Leia I could see it being her. (Also Leia and Padme have a very similar dynamic to Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.) Luke I could see joining the Jedi Order later on down the line.
Speaking of later down the line: Serious reforms are made to the Jedi Code. Particularly the age at which children are taken in. Padme in particular is a HUGE advocate for this, bringing up Anakin's case and treatment to drive home the point. The Jedi Order isn't perfect, but nothing ever is in this universe.
Speaking of things not being perfect...how 'bout them Clones?
So for the clone army, when the war ends and the inhibitor chips are all either removed or deactivated safely, the Republic and the clones are just staring at each other like 'what do.' Because seriously, what do you do with hundreds of thousands (or a million, I know the sources aren't reliable about that) of cloned soldiers who are now left without a war to fight in?
Well, first of all, give them fucking basic human rights. Yet again Padme and Bail are the ones to spearhead this, with the Jedi Order being very loudly supportive of this. It's pretty much a unanimous decision, though I can see the seeds of future villainous bullshit being planted by those who drag their feet about it.

Series Masterlist
Main Masterlist
(Age 3, Age 9, Age 12, Age 15, Age 18, Age 21, Age 24, Age 27, Age 30)
This goes with the storyline that Peter's parents worked with S.H.I.E.L.D.
~
Age 6 (Summer of 2007, before 1st grade)
Y/N skipped to Peter and hugged him from behind. "Hey Petey!"
"Hey Y/N/N."
She pulled away and pursed her lips. "Petey? What's wrong, you sound sad?"
He turned to her, his eyes red and he sniffed. "My parents had a work trip and they've gone missing."
"Oh? Well, I'm sorry." She hugged him, "Mommy always says that hugs are the best thing to help a person to feel better. Does it work?"
He laughed a little, "Yeah."
"Yay!"
--------
Peter and Y/N watched as Luke stared at the Binary Suns on Tatooine. They watched in complete focus of the movie as it continued, but were ultimately knocked out of their focusness when they overheard Aunt May scream and the phone crashing against the wall. Both kids jumped off of the couch and ran to her. "Aunty May?"
Her head snapped over to Peter, "Peter, sweety, um...please go to your room and Y/N, I'm going to call your parents and see if they can pick you up."
Y/N cocked her head to the side, "Why?"
May let a shaky breath out, "Because something happened and I need to talk to Peter and...crap we're watching you for the rest of the week, I forgot. Okay," She turned to Peter, "Sweety, um...your mom are dad are never coming home."
"Mom and dad never coming home?"
She sighed, "Yeah sweety. They aren't."
"Oh...why?"
"Sweety...they found the plane they were on and um..."
"No! They're not! They can't! They my parents!"
May reached her hand out to Peter, "Peter-"
He smacked her hand away, "No! You're lying! They wouldn't leave me!" He pushed past Y/N and into his room.
Y/N looked from the shut door and back to May a few times before walking over to May and hugging her. "I'm sorry."
May wrapped her arms around the small 6 year old, "Why?"
"I don't know, I just feel like I should say it. Mommy said it when our cousin died and she had me say it too."
May kissed the top of Y/N's head, "Well thank you sweety. But why don't you go to Peter and cheer him up, okay?"
She pulled away and nodded and walked to Peter's room. When she walked in she saw her best friend crying while clutching his pillow. She walked over and jumped onto the bed and started to hug him. "Now you can be like Anakin Skywalker."
"B-but I-I don't wa-wanna be the v-villain."
"Do you really think he was a villain? He became Vader to save Padme, he then began to protect Luke...I think he was just misunderstood."
Peter sniffed, "Maybe...but I wanna be Luke Skywalker."
"You still can, both of his parents are dead."
He turned and hugged Y/N, "I love you Y/N."
"I love you too Petey."
--------
Y/N stood next to Peter, Aunt May, and Uncle Ben as the casket was lowered. May was leaning into Ben as he held Peter close. Y/N looked back at Ben and tapped his arm, "Uncle Ben?"
He looked down at her and smiled softly, "What is it sweety?"
She pointed to a man dressed in all black that was standing far away from where they were, "Who's that?"
Ben looked over to the man and then back to her, "Someone Peter's parents worked with."
She nodded before looking at Peter and laying her head onto his.

Do you have ideas for your cowboy au or is it just aesthetic?
I DO HAVE IDEAS -Cracks knuckles- but they are jumbled just as my thoughts usually are so I apologize. This is what I have so far:
1- the clones were rescued by Jango (at the behest of Boba tbh). I’m not sure precisely how the little details were, but basically this gunslinger saw his clones, how they were being raised and went “This is fucked” And stole them all. The clone war was more of a war of rights and they won. (with the help of, surprisingly, the Jedi and the Mandalorians) They work all over, a lot becoming farmers, some becoming bounty hunters (a group largely run by Boba and Jango), basically they are actual fuckin citizens and that’s how it SHOULD BE.
(1a- so the side result of this is that when the fight to take down the Jedi started, they really didn’t have as much structured support. The ultimate goal of freeing the clones worked, but the Jedi and Mandalorians were reduced significantly in number and now sort of stay low to keep from drawing too much attention.
1b- Vader never existed, And the twins are thriving as both political and Jedi persons. Leia was trained as a Jedi, Luke runs a little school now and both were raised by their parents. Anakin is a disaster. Uncle Obi wan runs a ranch where a lot of the clones chose to work and it makes a great vacation for the twins when Padme and Anakin need a break)
2- The Mandalorians are still a religion/creed with different sects of belief. They are still known as badasses in all forms, tho. The one common thing is the darksaber, and whoever wields it is largely seen as their leader and representative. During the clone wars, their planet (lands? I think its in space but this can all be argued seeing as I messed with it all anyway) was destroyed and stripped of its resources because the imperials saw them as a threat.
3- The Jedi are kind of the same... kinda. More of a code of living. (The force still exists because I said so). Just like the Mandos, their own home was also destroyed and taken over, forcing them into hiding and functioning largely as an underground group. Once the war was won, and all settled, they came out of hiding for the most part, but still made an effort to be strictly peacekeepers and resort to battle as a last resort, as it was supposed to be.
3a- I imagine they all started their own sorts of peace keeping groups too. Like for some examples, I like to think (and I know) Plo koon took care of orphaned children (Clone cadets, Padawans, basically any child that was affected thusly by the war) alongside several other Jedi. Mace probably became some sort of liaison or political leader to represent them as a people. (Maybe? Idk. He seems like he wants a break maybe he runs some sort of general store) For examples.
5- It’s got kind of the same political settings as The Mandalorian I would imagine. Most of the empire is gone but they still exist, and a lot of people deny the signs. Mando (HErE WE GO THE GOOD STUFF) is the provider for his clan, as it is in the show. the difference is he’s not the only named one. -looks at paz- and so it’s more of a joint effort.
6- So Mando gets the same sort of storyline there- definitely large differences tho because of how much I changed shit. He goes to get the bounty, bounty is kid. Well shit gotta adopt. Duh. Mandalorians treasure kids why tf would he turn him over? No. Congrats Din, It’s a bean boy. He worries about how he’s supposed to care for this kid that can MAKE SHIT FLOAT and TOSS PEOPLE AROUND WITH HIS BRAIN and also be making money for the clan, so he asks around and finds out about the Jedi that still run around helping people, and also there is a school teacher who happens to be a Jedi. Gotta find that guy
7- Well once more it becomes the side quest storyline of the century. We have Razor, who is our loveable and dumb steed, she loves food more than anything (guzzler, if you will) except for Din himself, who she would carry into the depths of Hell if he had asked. She also starts off by not liking Grogu, because he’s stealing her best buddy’s attention away from her. Thankfully, they figure it out over time. And it’s adorable and one day Din wakes up to see Grogu sleeping on Razor’s flank, and she has her head near him in a protective way.
8- He meets with Boba when he needs information (Slave is Jango’s baby but he will throw shoes for Boba as well) And they go on a mini adventure to find this sith-damned elusive school teacher who always seems to be on the move for some reason. They meet several clones, Jedi, Mandalorians, and Imps along the way and it’s nuts
9- Accidental Manda’lor Din? Accidental Manda’lor Din. Poor man has no idea what is about to go down but it’s gonna go down and it will be glorious
This got really long and I apologize but these are the basic(?) ideas I have

When We Were Young- Chapter 31- An Obitine Story
There was much to discuss when the immediate battle was over. Anakin had killed Dooku, and Master Yoda insisted they have sessions to meditate together. The Sith Lord Palpatine’s trial was approaching and the Council themselves were very busy. Fortunately for Satine, Korkie was able to show Tristan a back entrance to avoid the paparazzi already showing up at the palace front steps. Tyra was allowed to accompany Mara back to the palace as well, her master discussed strategies with Satine and her advisors, and Obi-Wan went to retrieve Jynn and Lyra, as well as the birth certificates.
“Dear God, Duchess,” Prime Minister Jaru frowned, “you’ve been friends with the Jedi for over eighteen years?”
Satine gave Quinlan a nod.
“The Duchess and Master Kenobi have eighteen-year-old twins, sixteen-year-old twins, twins who are a year old-”
“Eight months.” Satine corrected.
“And,” Quinlan paused for permission, “the Duchess is expecting triplets.”
The silence was so heavy Satine wanted to punch something.
“We need to worry about the line of succession,” the Prime Minister said finally, “Parliament will have to approve your marriage.”
Satine flinched.
“They will likely join the line after you’re married,” Jaru stated, reading the signs, “but this is quite the scandal.”
Just then, Satine’s news alert buzzed. She read the headline and smiled.
“Duchess?”
“My sister has commented,” the Duchess straightened, “she supports me, saying that tradition would be against her marriage, and that we can honor tradition without sticking to outdated ideas.”
Master Vos cheered as polite applause took hold of the room.
“That is helpful,” the Prime Minister agreed, “but a press conference will be needed.”
“I have an idea,” Quinlan held up a hand, “the ancient monarchies used to hold ceremonies to welcome their new children.”
An idea clicked in Satine’s head.
“A ball,” she announced, “a ball and an old-fashioned welcoming ceremony for the triplets.”
One of her aides began taking notes.
“We should invite influential Parliament members,” another advisor added, “and the whole court.”
“Agreed,” Jaru nodded, “let’s craft the announcement.”
After that chore was done, Satine and her advisors moved on to the press conference that she and Obi-Wan would give.
“We should also like the Jedi Council for a statement,” Quinlan suggested, “saying how Obi-Wan is leaving.”
Everyone agreed this was a good idea.
Quinlan stood, “I’ll contact them now.”
The Prime Minister had three aides type up the announcement they’d crafted, as well as adding the detail about the press conference. After checking it over, Satine told more guards to be stationed around the entrances and gave the go ahead.
“The Council has agreed to say something,” Quinlan announced, coming back in, “they recommend that we set the conference for after the Sith Lord’s trial.”
“I think that is wise,” Satine agreed, “the trial is tomorrow, correct?”
“Yes,” Quinlan nodded, “and Obi-Wan is still a part of the Council.”
“He’ll have to be there,” Jaru concluded, “this will be a test of the paparazzi’s control.”
That afternoon was busy for Satine. She had a room prepared for Jynn and Lyra, as well as rooms for her older children. Naturally, this caused some drama within the staff. Fortunately, Parna, and Khaami, who had just returned from visiting her family, assured everyone that this was formal procedure and that they would get the news they were seeking at the press conference.
When Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi touched down on the palace landing pad with two toddlers there was an upspike in the rumors. Unfortunately, somehow, it had got out that Satine had made contact with Korkie’s old nanny who'd left ten years ago. This piece of knowledge seemed to confirm to everyone that the rumors were true. Still, they’d have to wait.
“Dad,” Tyra asked when the family was sitting together, “what will happen to Je’er after the trial?”
Obi-Wan smiled, “He’ll be put to death.”
“What!”
“He’s kidding,” Satine put a hand on her daughter’s arm, “don’t you worry, Tyra Satine.”
“Sorry, bad joke,” the Jedi apologized, “he’ll be questioned about his knowledge about the dark side, and then we’ll likely release him.”
Tyra nodded.
“Don’t worry, sis,” Tristan rubbed Tyra’s back, “he’ll be fine.”
“I’m wondering, children,” Satine smilled, “if we should extend ball invitations to your special friends.”
Mara gasped, her excitement clear on her face, Korkie didn’t look so sure.
“All the Jedi Council is coming,” Obi-Wan told Korkie, “and Anakin and Quinlan.”
Korkie bit her lip, “Will it stress her out?”
“Not if her father’s there,” Mara offered, “don’t worry.”
Satine was proud of the way she taught her son how to treat women. He had to be chivalrous if he was going to be a successful prince.
“Duchess,” Parna smiled, opening the door, “dinner’s ready.”
The family at dinner in one of the private dining rooms, serving themselves and laughing at each other’s jokes. Satine could hardly believe how perfect it was.
Obi-Wan’s comm beeped, “Obi-Wan, come in.”
“Anakin?”
“The Council wants you back to prepare for the trial,” Anakin sighed, “boring stuff, really.”
“Naturally,” Obi-Wan stood, “I’ll be over quickly.”
Satine pouted.
“Don’t worry, Darling,” the Jedi kissed the Duchess’ cheek, “I’ll be home after the verdict.”
“Bye, Dad!”
“Good luck!”
“See you soon!”
“Love you!
“By kids,” Obi-Wan smiled, bopping a smooch on Jynn and Lyra's heads respectively, “look after your mother.”
The Duchess did not watch the trial, but she knew that Anakin, Padme, and Je’er would be witnesses. Not to mention that the Sith Lord electrocuted a couple Jedi Masters when they came to arrest him. They had tested his blood for midichlorians and found them, connections were found to many assassins who’d killed political rivals of the Supreme Chancellor, and there was a direct comm link that when called, appeared on Count Dooku’s body.
“It was horrifying,” Obi-Wan told Satine as they crawled into bed, “his laugh, his mannerisms, he tried to manipulate Anakin right there on the spot.”
“And to think so many trusted him.” Satine frowned, disgusted.
“He was a good politician,” the Jedi sighed, “his punishment is to have his force manipulation ability taken away from him.”
Satine went wide eyed, “They can do that?”
“The Witches of Dathomir have a way,” Obi-Wan shivered, “it’s strange to think about it.”
The Duchess was silent for a moment.
“The press conference,” Satine finally said, “it’ll be just as publicized as the trial.”
“Likely even more,” Obi-Wan agreed, snuggling close to Satine, “but we don’t have to worry about that until tomorrow.”
The Duchess exhaled.
“You're nervous.”
“Yes,” Satine responded, “it’s hard to control what people will ask.”
“We could begin with our story,” the Jedi suggested, “and ask that questions be saved till later.”
That’s exactly the form the press conference took. However, Satine still considered it a nightmare. When they entered, holding hands, Satiine without a corset, the press turned into rabid animals. Khaami and Parna had to shout multiple times to get them to quiet down.
Obi-Wan began with how Master Qui-Gon and he were sent to protect the Duchess from harm during the Mandalorian Civil War, and they did so for a year.
“The Duke of Sundari and his twin sister, Padawan Tyra, were born about eight months after my coronation,” Satine jumped in, “the Duke was raised on Mandalore while his sister was sent to the Jedi Temple.”
“There are no hospital records of this, why?”
Satine sighed at the reporter, questions were supposed to be saved for later.
“Korkyrach and his sister Tyra Satine were born in the basement of the Summer Palace, there was one medical droid and my two ladies at the time.”
There was audible shock.
“Two years later,” Obi-Wan continued, “the Duchess welcomed a second set of twins, Tristan was raised by Clan Wren, and Mara was raised by the Supreis family, to which her lady belongs.”
“What about the birth certificates?” someone asked.
“The real ones are in the hands of the palace lawyers,” Satine answered, “including the ones from the births of our eight-month-old twins.”
In the midst of the stunned silence, a hand was raised.
“Where were these twins born?”
Satine grimaced, “The same room as all their siblings, with one medical droid.”
The crowd shivered.
“Jynn and Lyra, the youngest twins, were given false surnames and raised at the Jedi Temple these past months.” Obi-Wan added.
There were a couple of gasps.
“You have announced your family will host a ball and welcoming ceremony,” a reporter began, “are the dates for these set, and will the royal children be in attendance?”
“The dates are not set yet,” Satine answered, “but the children will be in attendance for both events.”
Audible scribbles were heard all over the room.
“Your Grace,” a strained voice asked, “do we have Mandalorian Jedi?”
The room got so quiet the Duchess could hear herself breathe.
“We have Mandalorian force-users,” Obi-Wan jumped in, “it is their choice whether or not they want to become Jedi.”
In the silence that followed, a reporter raised his hand, “When will the triplets be welcomed?”
Satine ground her teeth, “This fall.”
It was Marsh, Tristan and Mara were having their seventeenth birthday tomorrow and a few months after that Korkie and Tyra would be nineteen. Not to mention Jynn and Lyra would be a year old three months before the triplets were born.
“We will announce the dates of the celebrations nearer to the dates,” Obi-Wan announced, “thank you for coming.”
Khaami and Parna closed the heavy doors with an extreme huff.
“Thank God that’s over.” Satine sighed, leaning on Obi-Wan. “Let’s go,” Obi-Wan suggested, “there’s still the entire palace who will talk about us.”
The Duchess was with her seamstresses, planning her outfit for the ball when Tristan burst through the door.
“Lady Mother,” he huffed, “Auntie Padme and Uncle Anakin are on the holonews!”
Satine jumped up immediately and rushed back to her room with her son just in time for Anakin to announce his departure from the Jedi Order for his wife and children. Then, Padme kissed her husband and the crowd cheered.
“They certainly know how to steal your thunder, huh?” Tyra grinned.
Obi-Wan exhaled, “I think we’re very grateful because of that.”
Two days later, when the entire palace was busy preparing for the upcoming ball, an invitation arrived for the Duchess and her family.
“It’s from a Mr. and Mrs. Skywalker,” Mara read, wiggling her eyebrows, “they’re gonna renew their vows publicly.”
“Ahsoka must be overjoyed.” Korkie commented.
Satine snorted, “They must be trying to outdo us, Ben.”
Obi-Wan laughed and planted a kiss on Satine’s cheek.
“No one could beat us,” the Jedi winked, “just look at how many children we have.”
“Oh no,” Tyra gasped, “what will we wear?”
“My closet is your closet.” the Duchess gestured.
Mara and Tyra giggled and began jumping up and down. Jynn and Lyra giggled at their sisters’ foolishness.
“Speaking of the ceremony,” Obi-Wan asked, “when is it?”
“In three days,” Tristan said, taking the invitation from Mara, “I’m sure the paparazzi is ecstatic.”
“Most certainly.” Satine agreed.
“The ball is in a week,” Obi-Wan frowned, “do you think-”
“I’m sure the paparazzi will have forgotten all about the vows then,” Satine assured her Jedi, “they have a very short attention span.”
The Vow Ceremony was beautiful, and the entire Kryze family looked their best. All in blue and purple, they sat in the front row next to Master Fisto, Master Secura, Master Ti, and Ahsoka. The latter grinned so much her face would likely hurt afterwards.
Up at the front, Anakin stood with his half-brother Owen, and his wife Beru, behind him. Padme’s sister Sola and her husband waited on the other side of the aisle.
“She’s coming!”
There was a collective gasp when Padme entered, each of her parents holding an arm of hers. The Senator looked overjoyed and glorious in her fabulous white gown.
“Ani.”
“Padme.”
Satine almost cried at their reception of each other, they were all giddy and sweet.
“Anakin,” Master Yoda turned, “something to say, have you?”
Master Skywalker grinned, “Padme, I don’t know if you know this, but you’re so amazing and wonderful. There are so many magnificent adjectives that you are, but none more so than mother.”
Here, members of the crowd sighed.
“I know you’ll be the most marvelous role model to our twins, and I can only hope I bring you as much happiness as you bring me. I love you.”
“Anakin,” Padme grinned, “you have a tendency to run off into danger.”
Some members of the crowd who knew the Jedi Master best laughed.
“But I couldn’t love you any less for all the good you do for the galaxy, even if you have a certain charming disregard for the rules.”
“True, this is.” Master Yoda agreed.
The crowd laughed again.
“Ani, I love you, and both the twins and I can’t wait to see you as a dad.”
The crowd cheered and clapped politely as the couple kissed.
“Congratulations,” Satine kissed Padme’s cheeks when they made it to the front of the reception line, “I’m glad to see you both so happy.”
Anakin grinned at Obi-Wan, “I set the stakes pretty high, didn't I, Master?”
Obi-Wan nodded, “Good job, Anakin.”
There was dancing after the ceremony, but Satine and Padme sat happily chatting with plates of food and their Jedi.
“Ben,” Satinie elbowed Obi-Wan, “Korkie is looking at Kara, convince Khi-Adi not to kill him.”
Anakin snorted.
Obi-Wan stood, “On it.”
“One day, Ani,” Padme looked at her husband, “you’ll have to help our son.”
“I’m worried about how many people will be in love with my daughter,” Anakin confessed, “I’m sure she’ll be as beautiful as her mother.”
“Aw.”
Parna and Khaami sat with Padme’s ladies discussing happy times and giggling over Jynn and Lyra.
“It’s wonderful isn’t it?” Padme sighed.
“Yes,” Satine agreed, “the treaty signing was yesterday, wasn’t it?”
“I’m actually surprised at how smoothly it went,” Padme answered, “very pleased however.”
It pained the Kryze family to say goodbye, but Obi-Wan and Satine had much to do for the ball, so they bid goodbye to their friends and went home.
“Good job, Korkie,” Tyra smacked her brother on the back, “I think Master Mundi doesn’t hate you!”
“Korkie was perfectly civil,” Obi-Wan agreed, “although your fear was endearing.”
“How-”
“The force, Korkie.”
“Oh.”
The next few days were filled with dress fittings, menu checking, and formal etiquette training for the children who needed it.
“What do you mean I can’t dance the Mandalorra,” Mara frowned, “you danced it with the Count?”
“It has a negative reputation,” Satine huffed at her daughter, “that dance is best done with fiances.”
Mara stuck her tongue out at her mother.
“Don’t do that at the ball.” the Duchess warned.
Mara laughed.
“Satine,” Parna peeked her head in the dance studio, “the children's friends are here.”
Mara squealed.
“Bring them here, Parna,” Satine smiled, “and inform my children.”
Boba Fett looked extremely uncomfortable at the formalities used to address him.
“Mara!”
Satine smiled as the bounty hunter picked her daughter up and spun her around.
“Now only if you can do that in a dance.” the Duchess pointed out.
“Your Grace,” Boba bowed, “I’m honored to be invited.”
“Thank Mara,” Satine grinned, “it was her idea.”
Tyra walked in on Je’er’s arm, her smile radiant.
“Your Grace,” Je’er bowed, “it’s good to see you again.”
“Yes,” Satine nodded, “and this time you’re healthy.”
Tyra giggled.
“Your Grace.”
Satine turned.
“Princess Sori,” the Duchess matched a curtsy, “it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Your Grace is most kind, inviting my mother and I,” Sori stood, “we’re quite excited.”
“It’s nothing at all,” Satine winked, “I’m looking forward to seeing Cousin Miraj.”
“Sori, you’re here?”
“Yes,” the Princess blushed, “I’m here.”
Tristan took her hand and kissed it.
“Woah, look at that.” Tyra teased.
“Do I have to do that?” Boba asked.
Mara laughed.
“Your Grace?”
Satine walked straight up to Kara and kissed her on the cheeks.
“Kara, it’s so wonderful to finally meet you.”
The Jedi’s daughter looked pleasantly surprised, “Thank you, I can’t believe I’m here.”
“It’s magical isn’t it?” Korkie agreed, putting an arm around Kara’s waist.
Satine clapped, “Children, get ready to waltz.”
Boba looked horrified, “Waltz?”
The room laughed. It was a marvelous moment for Satine, instructing her grown children and their partners in a traditional Mandalorian Waltz. Korkie and Tristan already knew it, and lifted their partners into the air with varying degrees of success. Tyra and Je’er took a little longer to learn the steps than Mara and Boba, but they did do a successful lift first.
“Alright, now,” Satine smiled, “break time.”
That evening Obi-Wan got to hear all about Satine’s adventures while he complained about eating traditional Mandalorian food.
“It wouldn't hurt you to learn the waltz.”
“What do I need to waltz for,” Obi-Wan shrugged, “we already have nine children.”
Satine laughed.
“Do you feel them yet?” the Jedi asked.
The Duchess sighed, “Sylvian is a little stinker. He and Jacen wrestle while their sister and I try to sleep.”
Obi-Wan’s face melted, “You can tell them apart?”
“Yes, Ben,” Satine placed her Jedi’s hand on her stomach, “they're quite rambunctious.”
“We still haven’t picked a girl’s name out yet.” Obi-Wan pointed out.
“We’ll find one.” Satine assured.
Her ball gown was glorious. The entire family was going in white, and they would look magnificent. Satine’s dress was an ivory ball gown embroidered with silver lilies and pearls. It was wide like the dresses of the Ancient Queen Victoria, and was held up by her shoulders, which were covered in lace. Over all of this, Satine wore a deep purple velvet robe also embroidered with silver. It had a lengthy train too, something the Duchess absolutely adored. Then, to top it off, she wore the blue sash of the monarch and all her medals.
Satine met her daughters in the jewel room.
“Oh, Lady Mother, look at us!”
Tyra’s dress was the same style as Satine’s, except her robe was Kryze blue and her embroidery was gold. She wore a purple sash and slim dancing slippers. Mara wore a periwinkle robe over her ivory and gold dress. Her shoes and sash matched that of her sister’s, but naturally, she wore her Kryze brooch. Jynn and Lyra, the precious angels, were wearing little salmon pink robes over their chiffon tea-length dresses, which were also white with gold embroidery. Their little purple sashes were adorable.
“You look lovely, girls.” Satine smiled.
“The jewels in this room, Lady Mother!” Mara gasped.
Tyra and Mara wore multiple necklaces, chokers, and bracelets, all gold and white to match their outfits.
“I see you have the Warrior’s Eye,” Satine smiled at Tyra, “I remember giving that to you.”
“I never take it off.” Tyra nodded.
Jynn and Lyra were each given a string of pearls for their necks, and they looked every part of princesses.
“And you, Lady Mother?” Mara prodded.
Khaami cleared her throat, she and Parna were standing with the Jewel Master, a chest between them. Everyone in the room gasped when the ancient case was unlocked.
“Is that-”
“The pearl-drop tiara,” Mara gasped while Tyra fanned herself, “gifted to Queen Mara by Zagreus the Second of Zygerria!”
Satine performed a regal curtsy and Khaami placed the crown on her head, Parna held up a mirror.
“Exquisite, Your Grace,” the Jewel Master smiled, “we have the matching accessories ready.”
Her necklace was a silver chain of diamonds and crystals hanging low against her bodice. She had pearl bracelets and white satin gloves.
“Pierre,” Satine turned to the Royal Jeweler, “I wish my daughters to wear Kokoshnik tiaras.”
The girls old enough to understand this request squealed.
The Jewel Master bowed, “Right away, Your Grace, if the Princesses will follow me.”
Tyra wore a headdress with cerulean gems to match her robe and Mara wore purple garnets in between her golden latticework.
“And the little ones?” Pierre asked.
“Silver headbands for them.” Satine suggested.
The Duchess and her daughters met the rest of their family in the hallway behind the grand doors that led to the ballroom.
“Gorgeous, Lady Mother.” Korkie smiled.
He was wearing a white version of his uniform, with a purple sash with a blue line through it to designate him as heir. He also wore medals, as did Tristan over his white uniform, but he had significantly less.
“Satine,” Obi-Wan smiled, “you look heavenly.”
“Thank you, darling,” the Duchess smiled, “you get to lead me into the ball this evening.”
The Jedi kissed Satine’s hand, “I’m honored.”
Korkie took Tyra’s right hand while she held Jynn in her left. Mara held Lyra in her left hand and placed her right in Tristan’s. Satine nodded at Parna, who snuck away to find the announcer.
“Wait till you’re announced.” Satine whispered.
Lyra giggled.
“Her Grace, the Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalore, Second of her Name and Lady Krewella, escorted by the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
The announcer took a large breath, “His Grace Korkyrach Kryze, Duke of Sundari, Her Royal Highness, Tyra Satine, Princess Royal of Mandalore, His Royal Highness Prince Tristan of Keldabe, Her Royal Highness Princess Mara of Mandalore, Her Royal Highness Princess Jynn of Mandalore, and Her Royal Highness Princess Lyra of Mandalore!”

Ok so I was rewatching TCW and I started out with the movie and honestly I’m only really a few minutes in and I am losing it over:
-That clone who gave R2 a head pat. -That clone who yelled charge and got immediatelyshot afterwards, that made me sad -That clone who punched a droid, and then fucking died. -The fact that DIRECTLY after that we see Cody WACK A DROID with his FULLY FUNCTIONAL BLASTER and then ROUNDHOUSE KICK ANOTHER ONE, AND THEN GO BACK TO SHOOTING MORE DROIDS
-Alright fuck it this is a live post now because I need to scream into the void and my friends don’t like Star Wars Fair warning, this is INSANELY long, and I’m doing this entirely for myself. I just don’t have anywhere else to put all my thoughts down freely and damn it I’m gonna put ALL of them down.
-Ashoka, I love you but please god. get actual clothes. armor??? maybe??? Just, ANYTHING BUT A TUBE TOP.
-Ok, so this movie looks pretty bad but I actually think the back grounds are really pretty.
-Tbh early Ashoka is like, really cute?? (In a “aw look at the kid“ way, which is funny considering I’m her age-) And if she’d wear some actual fucking clothes she’d have a really good design.
-I can completely understand why people would find her annoying but lmfao Skyguy is fucking hilarious, if only because it pisses of Anakin.
-All the Clones looking at her when she says it and Rex laughing helps add to everything.
-Anakin: Captain Rex will show you a little respect can go a long way. Rex: *Visible Oh Fuck Shit Don’t Give Me The Baby Jedi*
-Ashoka, I love you, but please Force stfu show Rex some respect.
-Ok but literal seconds later Rex actually seems happy to see she’s like, enthusiastic? (I think?)
-oH SHIT REX DROPPED A “DAMN” I FORGOT ABOUT THAT ASDFGHJKL (Rex there’s a child riGHT THERE)
-Fuck fuck shit this when Teth happens I’m not emotionally prepared
-Why are they in the middle?? Wouldn’t it be easier to go the side???
-Obi Wan saved a Clone :)
-Obi Wan ffs that’s a war crime-
-Why are the droids protecting the shield genorator literal fucking soda cans
-So like, I know to a lot of people that moment between Anakin and Ashoka feels a little unearned, I just. can’t say I feel the same. Mostly because I can, relate a lot to Ashka feels there. You know, when you kinda fuck up but really, it wasn’t that bad, but you still feel like shit and you know other people think you fucked up too? But seeing Anakin being understanding is just, really comforting in a way.
-Why the FUCK did they send ANAKIN to save JABBA THE HUTTS SON, do they not remember his childhood??????????????
-Actually I think they did a good job on Jabba’s model. When I look at him I don’t want to throw up.
-God that opening shot of Teth from space is just, so fucking ominous and it fills me with dread. Especially knowing what’s gonna happen.
-The Clones surrounding Ashoka have hair that’s going to kill me out of just being so BAD.
-The Clones laughing when Ashoka says she saved Anakin is fucking funny
-ASHOKA IN A HOOD MY BELOVED
-DID THAT B1 DROID JUST FUCKING COMPLIMENT THE SPIDER DROID FOR MAKING A GOOD SHOT LIKE IT WAS A PET??????? THAT’S SO WHOLESOME?????? IT NODDED IN THANKS?????????
-RIDGE ILY
-Ok but actually though I fucking love B1′s. “Just fire right there!” is HILARIOUS.
-”Oh my God” being said by a droid implies so much shit that I a not unpacking
-Ashoka, honey, you’re blocking the pilots view-
-This OST-
-Rex sounds so fucking Tired let him Rest.
-”No problem, the hard parts over.” Lmao, that’s hilarious.
- Oh God the dread is setting in.
- R2 jus fucking????? Jumped- no, LEAPED out of Anakins ship???? How id he-
- Oh btw, I’m at the part where they’re under attack at the monastary, aka where shit gets real.
- Haha Willhelm (Idk how tf to spell it ok) Scream, vry funny because someone just died
-Ashoka’s theme is gonna make me fucking cry
-So many Clones being fucking dead is gonna make me cry
- Rex: Anakin Anakin: Tf you aren’t Rex
- Lmao this poor B1 is trying his best.
- REX FFS NOT YOU TOO! WHAT IS WITH CLONES AND FUCKING PUNCHING BATTLE DROIDS
-AGAIN??? I HAVE NO IDEA WHO IT WAS BUT GUYS STOP PUNCHING BATTLE DROIDS FFS
-The fact that one of the few named Clones actually named in a line is fucking “Odd Ball” is just. Odd Ball.
-NO THE CLONE WHO TRIED TO HIT A B2 WITH A BLASTER- FUCK HE DESERVED BETTER
-Ok the “We’ve got you out numbered!” joke was hilarious.
-Ok I really appreciate that Anakin’s first priority was helping his men, and that Ashoka had to remind him that they had to get Stinky to a medic or he would die and the mission would go to shit.
-The hangar getting blown up gives me -5 serotonine.
-I feel like everything happening on Teth should feel darker than they’re making it seem. Like,
- PADME, QUEEN
- Oh my God girl, “as a reprisentative of the Senate, of course”???? You aren’t subtle-
- Hey look it’s Jabba’s queercoded-to-make-him-look-more-evil uh... relative
- Oh, UNCLE
- Padme is too good for this whole damned galaxy.
-Man the OST can be really good when it wants to
-Wait why am I still watching this I don’t care anymore??? I came here to see Clones-
Uh, kudos to anyone who made it down here. You’re a madlad.
#TCW#the clone wars#This is so long I'm so sorry#Hey Look Original Content#I think I'm gonna watch all the more Clone centered episodes now#And some of the Ashoka episodes

Ben's fate and how it matters in the saga.
Story wise, behind all those breathtaking effects, the awesome music and the fast pace, this movie has many flaws. Like the out of nowhere Palpatine thing or screen time given to new and quite unimportant characters (not matter how cool or nice they are), instead of developing the ending/epilogue of characters we know and care about (what become of Chewie, R2, Finn, Poe once the war has ended ? As the war ended ? Have all the worlds freed themselves so easily ? Why did Rey decided to go on Tatooine, what is she doing now ?).
But I'm really surprised by how badly I take Ben's death. Not Kylo's, Ben's. I didn't cared much about Kylo but he was never just Kylo, he was Ben underneath, the child of Leia and Han, the last Skywalker, the last chance for this family to change their fate. And I grew to care about Ben Solo.
I'm also surprised by how much I dislike the whole Rey Palpatine thing. I'd rather she had stay a nobody or was a Kenobi somehow (like maybe Obi-Wan had siblings and nieces and nephew) rather than a Palpatine. It gives a foul taste to everything.
I'm not not-okay with Palpatine still being alive, I knew for a long time he could to that in the novels. But this what not this story. It wasn't about the return of Palpatine and the fight of his granddaughter against him. If it has been they should have shown it sooner.
This was about the final fate of the Skywalker. And what we get is that they all died. They failed their child or nephew and they died. And he died too.
This movie has shown me see more of the man in a fighter who couldn't shot at his mother's spaceship. A mother he never got to see again btw. Not even as a force ghost for what we know.
It made me care more about Ben, made me see who he was behind years of manipulation, misguiding and emotional and even physical abuse. I came to pity him and to like him.
And they kill him off, snatched him away from us and from life (and tbh from us).
I didn't think I'd say or even think this but yeah, I'd rather Rey had died. I'd rather Rey have waking up and giving him back his energy as a second chance to life, a final act of trust and hope in him, in his good side, an act that would steady him on the path of the light, pushing him to right his wrongs for the rest of his life in honor of her and his mother's memory and to redeem himself. She'd have died in an act final selfless act of optimism.
All his life Ben's family feared and distrusted him, not knowing he was influenced by Snoke/Emperor Palpatine.
I'm not for women dying just to give men angst but it's not that. Like I didn't felt like Leia died to give Ben angst. She died in a final act of hope there was still good in her son. She died to save him.
I'd rather have the hopeful jedi giving up her life to save someone who is breaking out of the dark side and trying to walk in the path of the Light Side. An act of trust in his capacity to be and to do good.
And, since we end up with a Palpatine/Skywalker dynamic, I'd rather have a Palpatine die for/because of a Skywalker than the reverse.
But now, knowing this is the final fate of Anakin and Padme's descendants, the fate of the disciple of Luke and of Leia and Han's child… it makes the whole saga taste bitter and feel sad, borderline depressing.
It makes me feel like Palpatine won and in a sense that Obi-Wan failed, since the Skywalkers never got to restore balance and they all die.
Hey I've just noticed we've lost two Ben is this saga : "Ben" Kenobi and the child named after him ! How merry.
It makes this new trilogy pointless because what was shown was that Ben wasn't a bad man and when he finally managed to escape the dark side he died for it, way too young.
Is this actually the story of Anakin's descendants being punished through loneliness, pain and misery for his crime of betraying the Jedi Order and murdering the children ? Cause it feels like it.
Where is the hope in that ?
Also you're telling me now that Rey who was and still is force-bounded to now-dead Ben, who was in love with him and saw his true self, the Ben underneath the Kylo, and wanted to save him, you tell me she has to go to sleep every night and wake up every morning knowing Ben died to save her life ?
You're saying there was nothing Ben could do after turning back to the light side and doing the right thing but die ?!
And don't give me the whole "it's more realistic this way" speech ! This is not a random sci-fi, this is Star Wars. The story of the Skywalker have been there for 40 years ! It has theme parks, novels, series, kid shows, games ! It is a cultural thing, it has an impact on people's life ! There are many many fans who care about it. And at the core and source of it, is the story of the Skywalkers. After all that talking about hope in the movies, you could have made its end hopeful !
Also, regardless of the fact she is good, you're telling me the person who now inhabits the house where Shmi Skywalker is buried and where Luke Skywalker grew up is a Palpatine. And not because the Palpatine and Skywalker bloodline united or not because she was adopted into the family but because the last Skywalker died, seconds after experimenting the first moments of true happiness and peace in his life, because of Emperor Palpatine. Or if we look at the facts because of two Palpatine since he died giving Rey his life.
Also I know he saved Rey, a good person, out of love but in a way, on principles, it feels wrong that this man who was manipulated since the cradle by Palpatine, and whose grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, uncle suffered because of Palpatine, dies because of Emperor Palpatine and to save Palpatine's heir.
I never liked Kylo much but neither did I hated him or Ben and I quickly saw he wasn't the villain of the story so I didn't disliked him for being a "bad" new villain. Cause he wasn't.
And I did thought it would be okay if Kylo redeemed himself by dying. Like in a impulsive, moment like Vader. At the last minute he betrays the dark side and dies saving Rey or the Resistance.
But that's not what we got.
What we got was Ben who finally broke free of the dark side's grasp, after he FELT HIS MOM, our Princess Leia, DIE. This Ben who comes to help Rey. A Ben those outfit and gestures reminded me of Han Solo, a Ben free at last (look how he moves, how he fights), a Ben looking as if he was meant to hold a blue lightsaber like his uncle Luke. This Ben breaking down before the dead body of the last person he cared about and sacrificing his life to save her.
You should have let him live, let him meet good people, makes healthy connexion, work to earn their forgiveness, let him heal. Don't just get rid of him !
… Damn, they've killed both mother and son in this movie !
This is not hopeful. Hopeful is him and Rey living and happy, or at least happier, together or not. I'm a reylo shipper but damn I'd rather it never happened that having Ben Solo, the last Skywalker, son to the deceased Princess Leia and deceased Han Solo, last descendant of Anakin and Padme Skywalker (and i do mean Anakin, not Vader), dies at a young age after years of grooming and abuse.
I cared about Anakin, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan who had believed in him, I cared about Padme, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie. So I care about Ben when we finally got to see more of him.
With his history and the history of his family, it's not enough that he manages to turn back to the light side, an act that isn't just like turning off and on a switch when you've been groomed since childhood by an evil man (Snoke/Palpatine).
It's not a good and hopeful enough ending for this family. He should be good yes but living and happy too. In my heart I can't believe Han or Leia ever thought it would be okay if he died, as long as he went back to the light side.
I've talked about the novel before. In it Han and Leia do have a son who turns to the dark side and dies, turning good again in the last moment to protect the woman he loves. But they also had a daughter. Luke had a son. I think their son even had a kid.
The Skywalker bloodline and family didn't end with their son's death.
In this movie this is the final fate of the Skywalkers. This is how their story ends. With sacrifice, loneliness and death.
Ben character was more important than I first thought. But now I see what his death as Ben -not his life as Kylo- ruins.
Now I think I understand why it affects me like it does.
The more I think about it, the more the truth and reality of Ben being dead sinks in, the sicker I feel.
This is a downer ending for the Skywalker family.

Head canon for Robe of Stars? Yay You live!🎉
Yay! I live again! ^_^
And off the top of my head, a few A Robe Of Stars head canons and plot points are:
1. The bulwark of compassion created in Obi-wan by the need to protect the Initiates and infants the Turtles rescued from the creche manages to blunt his PTSD just enough that he decides to go “fuck you Yoda that’s a Bad Plan”. So he doesn’t duel Anakin on Mustafar. Instead he bashes him over the head with a rock when Anakin force chokes Padme, absconds with Padme to a medical station, and he hides the fact that Padme was pregnant from Yoda and Bail. So Padme survives due to getting faster treatment (although she does end up in a coma), and the Skywalker twins get to grow up under the care of Uncle Obi. Meanwhile Anakin gets to run screaming around the Galaxy searching for Obi-wan and “Padme’s child”, only Obi-wan has bunkered up out in Wild Space with his kids and the Turtles in a very, very ancient Temple that Obi-wan only knows about because of shenanigans from his Palawan days.
2. Karai and the Turtles can all shape shift into Dragons and Obi-wan is convinced it’s a Grey technique, asks to learn it, and then teaches all the babies how to access their Power Totem through the Force. The mercenaries hired to hunt rouge Jedi are very crunchy, and rapidly decrease in numbers somewhere around 10 or 15 years after the Empire gets started.
3. Obi-wan and his group of survivors are significantly more Wild than aligned to the Light/Dark extremes. Han is significantly more comfortable with the Force when he get carried off by a Wild Barbarian Princess, as opposed to being scolded by a Senator. The Turtles significantly impressed with kyber crystals and all the fun weapons that can be made out of them.

Jedi Skytwins AU
This AU requires a better name
Leia pesters Bail and Breha constantly for a little brother from about the time she’s three. They explain they can’t, and when she’s a bit older, they tell her she’s adopted. She takes the news better than most five-year-olds could be expected to, extremely proud of the fact that she has FOUR parents. She knows her birthmother, Padme Amidala, was a powerful and compassionate voice in the Senate, and that her birthfather, Anakin Skywalker, had been a hero who loved her birthmother deeply. Both were dear friends of her parents.
Still, Leia feels like there’s someone she’s supposed to protect -- Like there’s someone who’s supposed to be at her side, sneaking around and getting into the kind of mischief only a determined little kid can. Eventually, she channels this sense of duty and loyalty into Senate work. She loves it, and while it requires her to hold her temper in check more often than she’d like, she wouldn’t change a thing.
Luke never stopped asking about his family. Owen told him little, and what he did share was always spoken through gritted teeth. Beru offered what knowledge she could -- She’d known Owen’s father, at least a bit, before he died, and he’d spoken of Shmi with love in his voice. But that was the extent of what she knew -- Maybe Ben could offer something more. He’d known Luke’s parents, after all.
Luke grows up with a gaggle of rowdy friends -- And no small amount of scrapes and scuffles. Always drawn to people who needed a friend, Luke inspired a strong sense of loyalty in the other children. Many of them thought of him as a younger brother. And when Luke’s eagerness and curiosity got him in a pinch, there were always two or three kids there to help him out. Luke snuck away to his Uncle Ben’s whenever he could get the chance, sometimes with a friend in tow, and always had a concrete alibi or two to keep out of trouble with Owen.
Luke and Leia both grow up happy and safe, a hundred worlds away from one another. Nineteen and a half years of relative normalcy before both had the rugs pulled out from under them.
Leia feels her heart pounding in her ears when he strides towards her. Darth Vader. The monstrous shadow that lurks at the Emperor’s right hand. The wretched excuse for a sapient whose hands are dirtied with planets’ worth of blood. Rage and righteous fury boil through her veins as she pulls herself up to her full height. She won’t back down an inch. Her years of experience fighting verbal battles on the Senate floor have given her some level of control over her emotions. She can handle whatever he throws at her.
She thinks.
A few hours later, she watches her planet -- the planet she devoted her life to, the planet she grew up on, everything and everyone she ever loved -- die. And all her pain and anger boils over.
Imperial agents and stormtroopers are flung against the walls of the ship’s bridge, and Vader himself almost loses his footing for a moment. But a moment is all she needs. Leia is smart and wily, even with every fiber of her being screaming for the death of every officer on that ship. She knows she’s only one person, and one person with precious little combat training at that. So she bolts for the door, scooping up a blaster on her way out.
Leia fights her way to the shuttle bay, some kind of intuition telling her when to hide, when to run, and when to fire. It isn’t long before she steals a shuttle and punches in coordinates she thinks are random. An imperial laser catches one fin just before the ship makes the jump.
Artoo and Threepio find their way to Luke, and the three of them are halfway to Ben’s place when a bolt of fire screams out of the sky. A Lambda-class shuttle explodes into the sands in front of them. Luke barely has time to think about what to do before his feet are carrying him to the wreck.
Leia clambers out of the broken cockpit, swiping blood and tears from her face. Luke gently guides her arm around his shoulders and helps her over the sand. They return to the outcropping of sandstone Luke and the droids used for cover, and both Artoo and Threepio fuss over Leia’s condition. She manages to reassure them, then turns to Luke.
“I need to see Obi-Wan Kenobi. And you’re going to take me to him.”
#big focus on Leia bc her part here is what changes the most#but it took a lot of finagling to get her where i needed her#stopping here for now bc it's late and i don't know where this thread is going from here yet#i know i'm changing tenses back and forth in the same paragraphs i'm tired i don't care#star wars#skytwins stuff
