satoru who deages into his teen self . . . you never met your husband until a couple years ago when he was teaching at jujutsu tech instead of going there as a student — and now you see how the passage of time can really make a difference on a person’s character. if you thought your husband was cocky, think again. all teen satoru did was talk about himself, and when he wasn’t doing that, he was flirting rather brazenly with you bc he was ever so curious about you — his future wife. he’d try to get as close as possible, throwing an arm around your shoulder and trying to snuggle up real close at any occasion. you’d push him away of course, after all, he was too young for you. finger on his cheek to turn his head away gently when he leaned in for a kiss, you’d giggle at his pout and the look of hurt on his face. then he’ll smirk at the sound and try seducing you, “i’m still your husband, even if i’m like this — i can still show you a good time.” you are highly unamused and uninterested, dragging him by his ear while he hisses back to his bedroom (he sleeps in the guest one for now bc he’s in this condition) after he tried sneaking into yours in the middle of the night

A black-haired, amnesiac teen comes to in an alleyway, hunched over an unearthly shadow.

There’s something in his mouth. Instincts kick in, and he chomps down, shattering the item. Whatever it was, its shards rapidly melt into a burst of liquid, and the shadow below him dissolves away with a shrill screech. He instinctively swallows the fluid, and it burns like acid down his throat. From it, a strange warmth suffuses through his whole being.

Something clicks in his head.

Jason Todd. His name is Jason Todd. He’d forgotten that, before.

He coughs. A few drops of the liquid spatter onto the ground, briefly illuminating the pavement in a vivid green glow before rapidly evaporating into the air.

He pushes himself to his feet shakily, leaning against the wall beside him for support while he catches his breath.

What the hell happened to him? What had he just eaten?

His recent memories were still muddled, feeling instinctual rather than logical. Not quite human. His older memories were still clear though, providing a bit more insight.

And the most recent of those memories was of… pain.

A timer ticking down. Trying to escape. Hoping desperately to be saved. Getting neither. The bomb going off.

He’d died.

He’d died.

Yet here he was. Alive, if disoriented. In an alley, not a warehouse.

After a couple more minutes of pulling himself together, Jason pushes off the wall and starts to walk towards the end of the alleyway. He has to find a way to contact Bruce. He’ll know what to do, surely.

jay rogue walker is better than me because if i lost my entire identity and memory and didnt even know if my name was actually real and got for years manipulated and lied to and the people who got me kicked out and kept switching back and forth from being seemingly nice to hating me for every little thing then commissioned me a job, then wanted me to risk my literal soul which is fucked up already from the other guy to save people we werent there for just to not save anyone but the targets anyway, and then go do that again??? and then they get mad at me for not wanting to risk my life for something i never wanted to be a part of?????? yeah id murder them all honestly

Okay so I feel like everyone’s assuming that Nya’s going to be the reason Jay either unlocks his memories or recovers his sense of self (which may or may not include getting his memories back… but getting to a point where he actually sees the ninja as family again). But have we considered the alternative of… Ed & Edna?

We haven’t seen them at all since the merge (and i sincerely hope they’re not dead), but imagine we do find them. They’re so excited to see their baby boy again… except he doesn’t remember them. He’s not the happy-go-lucky, kindhearted kid they remember. He’s closed off and rude and doesn’t recognize his OWN PARENTS. (Edna definitely cries herself to sleep that night). But the Walkers being the wonderful people they are, they invite him into their home anyways. For the first time in YEARS, Jay is treated with genuine love and affection with no ulterior motives (cause let’s be real,.. even the ninja want something from him- they want the old Jay back. They constantly react to him with disappointment and are upset that he doesn’t act the way he used to- they still love him, and mean well ofc, but they’re a lot less experienced than Ed and Edna- they’re Jay’s parents. They love him no matter what. Even if it breaks their hearts). Jay can’t help but sense something familiar about the place, and he’s never felt this away about anyone since the merge- he has this overwhelming sense that he can TRUST these people. That he LOVES them.

Ed and Edna don’t try to push the past on him. And maybe it’s because of this that Jay can’t help but believe them. He feels more at home with them then he has anywhere since the merge. If these kindhearted souls are his parents, maybe he can become better, too. For them.

and now in the present the artist who's making the OMORI manga adaption is under fire for being a shota fetishist and it's putting the spotlight back on the OMORI creator themselves for ALSO being a shota fetishist and oh my god the omocat who made those zelda comics over a decade ago is the same omocat who went on to make OMORI holy shit-
