❗️ANXIFEAR MINI FIC FROM MY NEW COLLEGE AU ❗️

So I got 6 hours of sleep last night because of this idea so APPRECIATE WHAT YA GETTING XD /j

This AU is still in the works, but all the info in this post is set information, send me your ideas in the comments or in asks, I'd be more then happy to hear them! ^^

It's the beginning of a new semester, Fear's a young college teacher in the mathematics faculty. He's been working there for about 3 years. Anxiety is a new teacher and this is her first semester teaching, she's a history teacher in the human science department.

Fear is just finishing up a lecture, when Anxiety barges in holding her material, her coffee and her notes. Her glasses are tilted and her hair's clipped up in it's usual messy style. When she looks up, she sees a full classroom of adults and a startled Fred looking straight at her.

Oh my bad, forgot to mention their human names hehe. Fear is Frederick Fitzgerald, because it's silly but trying to be serious, like him, and Anxiety is Anna-lee Tyson, just cuz I like how that sounds lol. Back to my narration,

She scrambles with her things and apologizes profusely to Mr. Fitzgerald. He urges her not to worry as he was just giving his ending speech and he dismisses the class. Anna awkwardly says goodbye to the students as they are leaving, while Fred starts packing his things. She approaches the front desk and sets her things down. They start up some small talk.

At this point, Fred has seen Anna around campus. He's found her little quirks fascinating; how she always carries too much in her arms, how she presses too hard on her PC's keys, how she supplements her coffee with energy drinks. It makes his stomach twist in a way that's farmiliar to him, but he denies putting any feelings forward to keep things professional. Anna rarely pays attention to her surroundings, she stays in her head much of the time, so this is her first time meeting him.

"I'm sorry again for the interruption," she repeats herself.

"Oh there's no need to apologize, Miss?"

"Tyson, Anna-Lee Tyson," she started to organize her supplies.

"Charmed, Frederick Fitzgerald. I've been interrupted by far worse. Students, other staff, KIDS EVEN!" He continued putting away his personal items.

"Kids?!"

"Yes, sadly, some single parents have to bring their children to class from lack of available childcare."

"Ugh, childcare should be more accessible to single parent students," she protested.

Fred shock his head in agreement.

"... Do you have any children M. Fitzgerald?"

He was taken aback by this question. Fred is a little ashamed he doesn't have kids at his age. He thinks if he had a partner by now, he probably would have-

Seeing his awkward reaction, she takes back the question:

"I'm sorry, you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable, I-"

Fred laughs it off, "No no, it's OK but... do I look that old to you?"

"No! I mean- of course not!" She assured him, although it seemed more as if she was reassuring herself.

And he laughs some more, "You would probably guess correctly to be frank."

"... Are you daring me to guess your age?"

"Yes, go on," he smiled, amused, and leaned on the desk.

So she tries to guess: "... 40?"

Fred jerked back and put his hand to his chest dramatically.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" She apologized once more, shaking her hands nervously.

He chuckles, "No, you weren't too far off! I'm 37."

"Oh! OK, I got close!"

"Ya! May I try guessing your age?"

"Sure, go ahead," she smiled.

To this, he leans back on the desk and strikes a thinking pose dramatically, guessing 25 in a flirtatious manner.

She giggles, "You're kind M. Fitzgerald, but seriously though."

"Ok ok... 32?"

"Oh, so close, I'm 34!"

"Darn!" He says and they both laugh.

He looks at her laugh, it almost turns into a squeak. Something about her makes him feel like he could talk to her for hours and she'd listen. Her nose scrunches and it makes her round glasses tilt upwards; he pushes his own glasses up.

"And I love your smile..." he whispered under his breath mindlessly.

"Hm?"

"Oh hm, it was very nice meeting you Ms. Tyson!" He held out his hand to her, quickly responding to avoid suspicion.

"It was!" She agreed, shaking his hand firmly.

After an awkwardly long handshake, which she didn't register as such, he finished packing his things and headed out, wishing her a great start of the semester. She returned the gratitude. Leaving the lecture hall, he held his hand up to his face to hide the glow he felt on his cheeks.

Fuuuuuuck- he doesn't swear much, but this time called for it; she had a strong affect on him and he was going to have a difficult time trying to hide it for the rest of the semester-

It has surely been a while, has it not? You may have believed that I had forgotten about you. I assure you, I have been hard at work to answer this ask, clambering into the deepest hells that are Reddit and conferring with a friend of mine whose special interest is kinks.

After such research, I have come up with a list of what kinks I personally believe the characters of MDZS hold. (Any people who know me in real life who are seeing this...no, no you do not see this.) This will probably be done in multiple parts, which can only show the thought I've put into this.

Okay, I'm going to go through the kinks that I found corresponded with characters, and then explain why each character would have that kink, starting WITH:

Breathplay - Let these characters choke each other out!! It would fix them. Characters I think would have this kink would be people like Xiao Xingchen and Jin Zixuan (receiving), and Nie Huaisang and Lan Xichen (giving)!

So, Xiao Xingchen would definitely be into breathplay because..... well, he doesn't need to be blindfolded to feel the thrill of not knowing what's going on, hehehe. Hehe..ANYWAY! He can't see what his partner is doing, he can't see how his partner is reacting, he doesn't even know when he'll be able to breathe again!! Can guarantee that he'd like that shit.

Jin Zixuan!! Man's has had control all of his life, let him be pegged and choked by Yanli. He craves that loss of control, and what better way to receive it than in the bed, indulging in the sensation of the lack of oxygen, the dizziness paired with the pleasure of it all. Loser was born to be a submissive househusband, forced to be sect leader of one of the most powerful sects in the Jianghu.

Nie Huaisang is the kind of guy that prefers subtle control, and what better subtle control than watching his partner slowly begin to instinctively fight for breath, watching their expression contort and their grip around his wrist tighten. The helplessness in their eyes is everything to him.

Lan Xichen is a Lan. If Lan Wangji is a repressed sexual loser, Lan Xichen can be too. You'll see from all the other kinks I pin to him, but he loves the power he receives through this shit. He will throttle his partner and leave them saying thank you afterwards (very breathlessly, of course). ALSO, Lan arm strength...Lan grip strength, anyone? They be writing upside down, gotta have good grip to not drop that brush. Puppy Play - Okay so like, generally being treated like a dog but...sexually. It's a form of submission and dominance but more specific. Characters with this kink would be Nie Mingjue, Xue Yang, Jiang Cheng and Jin Guangyao.

Okay so, Nie Mingjue being into puppy play is my personal campaign of big buff MXTX men wanting to be treated like toys #borntobepuppyforcedtobescary. Anyway, Nie Mingjue would have a muzzle and a collar on the moment his partner brings it up because like..come on, man. He's always so serious, when he actually just wants to be called a good boy and would do anything for that.

Xue Yang would make himself a puppy. His partner wouldn't bring it up, he'd walk in one day and shove a leash and collar into his partner's hand and just be like "put it on me and then tell me to bark for you". He's a freak and wants to be treated like an animal, literally what more can I say about it.

Jiang Cheng sees his dogs being treated well and is like "me. Me I want." It's another sort of loss of control craving thing, linked with craving the love and affection that comes with such a thing. The only source of affection he had (that wasn't being tackled by Wei Wuxian) was from Jiang Yanli, and now he's got a distinct lack of it. Let him be a puppy, I say.

JIN GUANGYAO WANTS A PUPPY TO ORDER AROUND AND DOMINATE AND TREAT LIKE A BAD PUPPY. HE LOVES THE POWER AND CONTROL AND THE ABILITY TO GET GROWN PEOPLE ONTO THEIR KNEES. HE LOOKS DOWN AT HIS PARTNER AND SAYS "awh, is poor puppy getting restless?" IN A SICKENINGLY SWEET TONE WHILE KEEPING THEM ON THEIR KNEES WITH A SINGLE LOOK. These are just various tidbits once again from the dusty WIP folder of doom. I don't think i have enough Castlevania content fff- also I think I am out of WIPs not sure, theres some that have NO WORDS AT ALL, JUST THE PROMPT AAAA- Also I write mostly shippy stuff, SPICY and some dark stuff. Because of that, the Simon one is implied he's not having fun, even if nothing is happening yet.

#1 - Prompt was "Hammer hires a sexy maid, gets Soma in cosplay instead" (researching Hammer's characterization had me in orbit)

“So I take it I’m getting the full Kill Bill or is this a surprise?” As if that made a lick of sense even when Hammer is pulling out his defensive CQC (close quarters combat to you rookies, hehe…). The maid is damn cute if he does say so himself. Eh, he expected her to be fair haired - that’s lovely blonde not stark white -  and could have gotten some more points from him if she had. Y’know. A little something-something going on with her chest and maaaybe her backside? Hey, at least she didn’t come with a padded bra like the other girl did. The maid did have a very generous slit up her toned yet still deliciously lean thigh and being absolutely smooth to the… oh! Oh hehehe~ Hammer almost got a glimpse of her panties and maaaybe to cop a feel since, well, this is what he paid for. Might as well try to get some enjoyment out of being openly perverted so long as he kicks the door closed. Yeah. No one needs to see this.

#2 - Prompt was "Eric got spanked by John now he's teasing him"

Mostly because his clothes are clinging to his body and not hiding much of anything now, having to take off his cloak before it weighed him down too much. It unfortunately had to be left behind… he could always just find another once they’re back in the city. Eric can hear his friend suck in a sharp breath as he does so, and suspects it’s because his tunic rode up upon his body and reveals his still pink bottom and his excitement rising once again. Eric can’t help but want to be watched this time. He’s finding it fun to know that it’s he who is making John Morris feel such a way, staring at him with such wanting. The blonde can see the hunger in his eyes when he coyly turns his head over a shoulder to make sure John’s still following close. He doesn’t pull down his tunic, and leaves it as he wades through the water with his spear held across his shoulders and backside. Yes, John. You will be treated this time.

#3 - Prompt was "Simon x Monster group - Fleamen" (also because Simon looks like this when he's defeated...)

But in his arrogance, he thought that, because the enemy this time was so small, he could just sweep the whole room of them in seconds. But these damn things, these small, hopping deformed men of sorts, have great agility and speed to make up for their size and lack of strength. And downing one or two had somehow summoned more. So many, that now they all are surrounding him now, fallen and in no position to properly swing the Vampire Killer. So at this moment, he can just imagine what they’re going to do - he can see sharp teeth and ravenous, glowing eyes in them. They’re staring at him as if he’s going to be quite a feast for them. It isn’t how he wished for his journey to end, but he’s fresh out of weapons to throw at them, and there’s no way one cross will rid them all, even if it did come back. But what actually occurred in the next few moments was something Simon very much did not expect nor appreciate. At all.

#4 Prompt was "Juste falls ill in the castle and Dark Maxim "helps" him." (a friend had thought of an anemic & albino Juste)

But it comes down to this one fact: Juste is wearing down. So this shall be his resting place, in the arms of the man who loves him the most, if Maxim has anything to say about it. He soon catches his beloved friend once they reunite, noticing him wobble to the side while still pressing the back of a palm to his forehead. “Ah, careful there… you don’t seem to be alright yourself?” “Mm, it’s the sickness. I’m out of medicine, and the greenery around here is more dangerous than dealing with my ailment. But I promise… I’ll be fine.”  But would he? In this dangerous place, the safest bet would be right at his friend’s side, who will always care for him.

🌸Do you have any basic headcanons? (Age, Sexuality, Etc.) —

Xilonen is in her mid to late 20s. Cis lesbian, she/her. I imagine her to be quite tall as jaguars are rather big. AND, she would be a jaguar/ocelot mix because she is one despite what hoyo says ! I have a little family headcanon, too. I don't have a better way of explaining it in anything other than real world-ish terms. I hc that she has a mother of Aztec decent who Xilonen gets her name & ocelot features from And a Jaguar father who indigenous from the Brazilian amazon ! I'm going to redesign her nightsoul patterns to reflect the body & face markings of said cultures once I've done adequate research ! Design-wise… she is very different. 😭 ochre toned skin & curly dirty blonde hair that fades into a warm honey. And the strange braid in her hair, I think, was meant to be a "tererê". A sort of hair braid people usually get done at beaches in Brazil ! She braids beads & puka shells into it, too. Hazel eyes ! Green eyed genshin characters scare me. She layers lots of gold jewellery. I'll stop now, I could go on & on.

Ciaradh is in her early 20s. Nonbinary lesbian, they/she. Quite tall, too ! But not as tall as Xilonen. I've finally settled on making her a wolf, though I think that I'll change the animal for trivial things if I want to. She is very feminine & sharply dressed. Their wardrobe is my own, monochromatic, black & white, just like my own. Chronically ill, so she can't do much but sit & look pretty combat wise.

🌼Is there an official confession scene between the two of them? —

They both sort of just knew where their relationship lay. No words needed. First kisses & such came very naturally, like they had been doing them for years already.

I think that Ciaradh finding out about Xilonen's bouts of recklessness that has resulted in her having to be saved would upset her greatly. Tears falling type of rage. 😭 So deeply offended that she would ever dare throw something precious as her life away on a whim. "what happens when there's no one there to save you ?" etc.

She knows that she does not act that way out of pride or sheer lack of sense, that Xilonen is only trying to what is best for her people. But it wouldn't hurt Ciaradh any less. Despite her seemingly aloof nature, she is very sensitive about Xilonen. They'd kiss n make up, though.

I have lots of thoughts about Xilo cooking for Ciaradh when she's weak, too. :> Helping her in general. Helping her eat, letting her use use her side as a support when her legs are worn. She's an excellent support.

Asking me if I collect anything is like opening Pandora's box. I collect EVERYTHING! I answered this question before here, but I am never lacking collections to talk about. you got it 🫡 warning in advance for banter + snf crit but this is all from the perspective of a fan i’m not hating just to hate. and under the cut cause this is everything i’ve been holding in it’s Long

imo the problems with banter boil down to 1) a lack of direction, and 2) that it honestly seems like nobody but karl even gives a shit about it. it doesn’t even need to be a particularly inspired idea to work, just coasting off their dynamic would be fine (i don’t think karl/sap/george is a great combo for this format but that’s not to say it can’t ever work, i’ve enjoyed them in past episodes) but they still need to go into sessions with like…. an idea of what to do. it’s evident in both individual episodes— losing track of the topic ten minutes in, aimless conversations, starting and stopping stories, etc— and the podcast as a whole— celebrity guests seem picked at random with minimal research done, their chris episode that had a chance of being topical didn’t come out until after the general public lost interest, and doing THREE reboots because they keep losing steam after putting out two episodes is just ridiculous (though they’ve been better about that recently, credit where it’s due). their new set actually looks great, i like it a lot, but it doesn’t make their fundamental problems better. and all that would be more excusable if i got the sense that banter was really a passion project for them, but like i said yesterday i just…. don’t think that it is 😭 i do feel like karl genuinely wants to make it work and tries hard. but snf seem like they just said yes because it’s easy for them and they’ve got literally nothing else going on, and at least imo it shows

three guys in their twenties making a mid podcast isn’t the worst thing in the world (in fact it’s healthy for them. enriches their environment) but the reason everyone is so bitter towards it is because it’s ALL we get these days, save for a stream for two every couple weeks. it’s true that banter doesn’t Actually stop them from doing anything else, if they wanted to make content they would make it, but when we hear that group streams have been canceled and snf fly to north carolina a day later that’s still what it feels like! and, maybe most maddeningly, they seem to be under the impression that most of their audience Likes the podcast?? that’s the only explanation i can think of for the hubris of booking a big venue in a low-traffic state just before vidcon with no guests but austin ever announced and the most half assed promotion i’ve ever seen (see my point about not caring). i don’t like them blaming the venue for the cancellation either, i call bs on them being “difficult to work with” and it was almost certainly because of low ticket sales. like honestly, genuinely, did none of you see this coming? it’s incredibly out of touch and even though i like all three of them i can’t help but feel bitter thinking about how the only content we can expect from content creators is something they don’t seem passionate about yet continue to ignore that their audience very resoundingly Does Not Want It

and that brings me to snf’s careers right now as a whole. i don’t have as much to say as i did yesterday cause this anon summed it up so well but it really feels like between dream not micromanaging them anymore, minecraft content in general getting lower views and more creatively burned out, and not being separately stuck inside forced to do Something to stave off the boredom, they just don’t know what to do anymore, so they do nothing (or make seven-minute mr beast videos). dream isn’t the content machine he used to be either but at least with his projects like usmp (🕊) and drusic i can feel like he’s busy with projects he loves and there will be something tangible for me in the future, so i’m more willing to wait and see. and using tommy as another example, he’s done a great job branching out into other avenues and preserving his audience when what he was doing got tired. there’s no reason snf Can’t, they just haven’t. and when i hear about things like them scolding dream for promising us things i’m like ?!? fair i guess, i’d rather not expect anything and not be disappointed, but it’s only not happening because you guys aren’t making it happen. are you really SO busy that you can’t carve out three hours in an afternoon to cook something on stream? (in fairness that could be said about all three) or do you just not want to, and expect your audience to stick around indefinitely like it’s 2020?

and this discussion has been had on tumblr already of course and to be honest i’ve never really agreed with the consensus that it’s entitled to want content from content creators, but just to cover my ass a bit LMAO: this doesn’t bother me day to day, i have life to keep me busy so i just watch something when it interests me and don’t when it doesn’t. i love that dteam seem like friends first and business partners second and i would rather preserve that than grind content! but all the same i don’t think it’s wrong as fans to be critical of what people we like are (or aren’t) putting out but as always yk feel free to chime in with agreements or disagreements or whatever i am a greek forum for minecraft youtubers

there’s def a lot of areas where there could be more lore (rika’s character page is so odd??) just because of how many characters there are i think!! but i do feel like the story is wrapping up so some things might just be left as questions. or not, who knows!!

yeah there’s def a cycle of like thing gets popular -> everyone loves it -> it becomes so over saturated that people start hating on it to be different -> it becomes overhated -> in a few years everyone realizes it wasn’t that bad. the biggest problem w the “hating as a trend” is that it takes away from legitimate criticisms of the work, as fans will lump it into general hating for no reason.

besides just analyses being so important for even basic comprehension of the plot, i’ve noticed a lot of the storyline is dependent on random interviews gege has done. like nobara’s death only being confirmed because of an interview years after it was written is RIDICULOUS to me (even though i already thought she was dead tbh but there was enough speculation in the fandom that it obviously wasn’t clear enough in-story). things like interviews and character pages should give you fun additional information that can help you expand on a character (oh rin likes horror games!! karasu is scared of the water!! etc etc) but it shouldn’t be the MAIN source of KEY info on a character. idk i think a lot of people love what jjk could be at this point and not necessarily what it is.

YESS i honestly was not super pleased by the female characters in jjk!! they are cool, and they COULD be well written, but they aren’t. i think in terms of its contemporaries, demon slayer does female characters better than jjk (again, not saying they’re perfect because they aren’t, but, say, shinobu is a stronger character to me than even maki).

jjk is a sunk cost fallacy for me HAHA i’ve been into it for over 2.5 years now so i have to see how it ends but i don’t really care atp what happens 😭 i’m like an unbiased outsider…idk it’s sad i wish i could’ve stayed invested but i only even know leaks are dropping because my social media blows up whenever they do.

💜 The Days When IU Sing Me Lullabies 🌷

If I think of KPOP artists that remind me of my Pandemic Years, one of them is no other than IU (Lee Ji-eun). 🌸During the pandemic, she released the album lilac and it became my favorite album of hers. 💜I do not know why but I remember everything I learned about IU. I really cannot understand but maybe it is simply because she is South Korea’s Little Sister. Naaa.. I am just kidding. My ears like IU’s voice. I cannot argue with my ears. I am not crazy. Hehe… Her voice is really relaxing, and it helps me to be calm, especially every time I am having stress because of work. 🌝

Another reason is, she is an inspiration for my generation. For the Kpop stars I know, IU, Do Kyungsoo, and Kim Seokjin have similarities in my heart. IU was born May 16, 1993, Do Kyungsoo was born January 12, 1993, and Kim Seokjin was born December 4, 1992. My Birthday is April 14, 1992. 🐏From what I see, there are many successful artists younger than IU, DO, and Jin but they still thrive in the industry. The perseverance of IU since she was young, the authenticity of D.O, and the humbleness of Jin, these are the qualities that they should be proud of. They embraced the fire within themselves despite hardships they faced while in a 3rd generation of KPOP.

If they could succeed, I know I can too, regardless of if I only learned what I want to do in my 20s. 🪽

I love hearing about your life :3 but I kinda find it funny because my experience is kinda like the opposite of yours. in high school I never took art because, like you said, I didn't like being forced to do art that isn't on my own terms, and i had a short attention span that wasn't ideal for in depth art research, my parents also told me that I wouldn't be able to handle taking art.

but not taking art in high school meant that it was much more difficult for me to make a portfolio, I didn't have a standard number of works some of my art friends did, and I didn't have the experience taking art would've given me. when it came to choosing a program in uni it also meant that I couldn't take any creative subjects because I was lacking experience and a portfolio. I ended up going into the most creative related subject in business school (kinda a stretch) which is marketing. but classes are also completely different from what I expected. in the first semester I have to take general business courses, like accounting and math (which is a nightmare.) and sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice, yknow? maybe I wouldn't be wondering so much, maybe I wouldn't have to do nasty math :") I guess I got what I wanted but it's just not what I expected haha

HAHAHA OMG DON’T BE ASHAMED!!!! it’s so natural to want to see more of them growing together (and also, I completely understand binging fic. i do it all the time. it’s amazing that people are binging a fic *I* wrote tho LOL)!!! wanting to see twiyor development was def one of the things that led me to writing OMWF. I really wonder how sxf will go, since even though it’s mostly comedy, it has moments where it takes itself very seriously (in a good way). I’ve seen so many good headcanons of how a reveal and post-reveal might go that keeps the (generally) lighthearted tone of canon, so i could really see it going either way.  

but omg i hadn’t even thought of that, yOU ARE SO RIGHT. i hope to god the Authen’s mean yor and loid will get some more private moments together 😂 or, at the very least, some deeper emotional introspection from loid and yor (that would bring them together... HAHAHA).
