…to shut them up.

Juste was in good spirits, that morning. The sun shining outside must have infused him with energy and the desire to have a good fight: Maxim could only be happy to see his best friend having fun, being free of worries, and giving him his all during their sparring. However, as he dodged by a hair's breadth a blow of the whip (thankfully not the deadly Vampire Killer), he saw himself wishing that Juste would run his mouth less.

"Did you get cursed on your way here?" he laughed. "You're growing softer with age!"

"Don't get too cocky, now," Maxim replied, and sent forward his Stellar Sword with its blades spread wide. With an icy flourish and a grin, Juste was able to send it back to him.

"You fight like my grandpa!"

"How is that supposed to be an insult?"

"I mean my other one!"

That was enough. In a swift move, Maxim dashed forward; Juste raised the whip, expecting an attack... not expecting him to pull him by the vest and shutting his mouth with his own.

That was not how Maxim imagined their first kiss, but there was never a dull moment with Juste.

His friend stood there, mouth agape at Maxim's boldness. So, it was only natural that he would deliver a low kick and make Juste fall on his rear.

"I won," he smiled.

Juste didn't reply, his face as red as his jacket. But Maxim couldn't relish in his accomplishment of making his friend shut up, because with a snap of his fingers, he conjured a tiny fairy with a hammer disproporionately larger than her.

He always had to have the last word.

I'm torn between isaactor, hectorcard, and trevorcard; I love all the them too much

If the wound had been any deeper, it would have reached Trevor's heart.

Dracula was dead and he'd killed him; even with a nearly fatal wound bleeding out from where the vampire rended his flesh with monstrous claws, he had to fight until his last breath and he would not let death claim him until Dracula was slain.

He could not let it fall to Alucard to kill his own father.

He'd seen the melancholy in the dhampir's eyes whenever he spoke of Dracula, with a lonely, distant gaze looking back at a past that was warm and happy and he knew those days were long gone. Even after all the monster had done, there was still a part of Alucard that would always remember him as the man he once was. He would never hold him again, but he could not forget the tenderness of his embrace and the warm and safe feeling of being wrapped in his cloak.

13: What's a character or ship you haven't written/drawn yet but would like to some day?

BELSCHINE!!!!!

I don't know quite what to write about them yet but I love them. It will of course involve Maxim being a vampire. Maybe he will turn his beloved and they will be together forever

He is running out of healing potions.

Cursing his overconfidence and haste into settling matters, Juste wipes the blood flowing from his cheek. The creature in front of his eyes is but a vile mockery, and Juste's holy blood boils at the desecration of his dear friend. It looks like Maxim, but his handsome features are twisted into a sneer; it sounds like Maxim, but it uses his voice to spout obscenities; he fights with the honored Stellar Sword, but it raises it against Juste, to maim and kill.

And it has dared to use Maxim's body and strength to hurt Lydie - and that, Juste will never forgive.

"I will save you, Maxim," he shouts, "I won't allow you to lose yourself! Not after everything we have done for each other!"

"You have wasted your time!" the creature wearing Maxim's face cackles. "It was all for naught! But indeed, it appears you Belmonts enjoy wasting yourselves for lost causes..."

Beyond words, Juste snaps the Vampire Killer at the thing with a deafening scream - and it pains him to watch Maxim curse and bleed all over the floor, but it is not Maxim, his friend is fighting for dear life inside that wretched creature, and Juste owes it to him to do everything he can to help him.

The two bracelets nearly burn on his arm.

He has collected all of Dracula's repugnant remains, he has lost himself in Maxim's split psyche, he has defeated Death himself and all of the monsters crawling in the castles. It was all for the people he holds dearest in his heart, to save Lydie from the dangers of the castle and Maxim from the demons tormenting him. He cannot afford a single moment of hesitation.

With the magic flowing in his veins, Juste enchants his cross: the holiness scorching the creature's flesh brings him closer to fulfilling his fate.

Mentally ill about Belschine again and how Maxim's theme is the title screen, and Juste's is the ending credits, and they're the only tracks with that sound quality. But also how Maxim's theme is playing in Juste's room. And especially how "Beloved Person", ostensibly Lydie's leitmotif, does not play if you rescue her, but a second and more complicated version of it plays when you rescue her and Maxim, as the best ending epilogue.
