Just a small Drabble of Maxim Horvath

A small puff of smoke lingered in the doorway, Maxim knew it was there he just didn’t spare it a second glance. Just because they are young and developed faster than even you did, doesn’t mean he can just shower them with compliments.

You, however, weren’t having any of it.

You walked into the kitchen, hands crossed on your waist, “Maxim.” He froze while cutting up the lemons, “Yes dear?” He fluttered his eyelashes at you like he wasn’t doing anything wrong.

“Are you playing hard to get on your own child?” Your smile was teasing and aghast as if you couldn’t believe such a ridiculous -yet humorous- thing had just happened. “I can neither confirm nor deny this accusation,” he deflected your question in true Maxim manner; well, that’s to be expected because you knew what you were getting into when you married him. 

“If that’s the case,” You turned to the puff of smoke, “Come in here, sweetheart.” The smoke quickly formed a child that doesn’t wield a focus, rather, their eyes glow a faint turquoise; the hint of green from your focus and blue from Maxim’s. 

The child ran up to you, practically jumping in your arms as you showered the kid with affection. They laughed and clapped their small hands together. “Magic had inflicted this kid’s life before it even started, you do realize this, no?”  

“Just because this bundle of joy can master magic before being able to tie their own shoes, doesn’t mean they won’t have doubts in the future. There will still be hurdles, and there will still be growing pains. I swear if it!”

“That will come with time, Dear," You walk closer to him because the bundle of joy is reaching for him, "Save the strict training for later, dear. For now, only hugs and kisses will be the priority.”

Love - 8 - Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?

This was a lot of fun to think about!

Giving - More of a preference for physical, she absolutely enjoys working with her hands ;P so its second nature to her to hug, hold, play with and tease her partner. Maxime's antennae in particular are a good focal point, she *loves* touching them and getting a reaction out of him. I think pre-relationship, she would be hesitant to touch him unless circumstance let her dare to, despite her itching to do so. So a lot of her affections would have been via little verbal offerings hidden under or amongst her general sass and wit. She's more socially awkward despite her gift of gab/implant making her seem more collected and put together than she is, so she'd rather do the 'talking' with her actions than words. That being said she's not at all afraid or shy to hand out compliments and terms of endearment like they might go extinct otherwise! Lots of pet names. SO many pet names and endearments. SO many!! Cuddle Bug and Love Bug are her go to for Maxime.

She definitely enjoys comforting him verbally over things though, reassuring him with sweet words. Just generally speaking she'd rather show him ;P She likes to make him comfortable and remind him that she's perfectly fine with - and does indeed love - his cockroach parts just as much as the rest of him. So she's eager to get that stupid ass puffy coat out of the way when they're in private. Having that as a barrier between them irritates her.

Receiving - Either or, I think! She's much more into hearing about how she's *affecting him* (nsfw time etc) rather than generally than just generally receiving compliments etc. Teehee! But she just does genuinely love listening to Maxime's voice..so if he wants to talk her ear off about how amazing she is and how much he loves her..then by all means. (But she generally prefers heartfelt moments of conversation vs general everyday stuff. Hearing how deeply she affects him and how much her/their relationship means to him, THAT she's into!) She certainly prefers it when he swoops in to kiss her on the cheek or something because it's a welcome distraction from her work - and she can return the favour twice as good!! She just sees it as a good excuse to start doting on him >:) And being physical tends to lead down a path of being *more physical*, and pleasuring him is something she very much enjoys. She doesn't care much about sex much for herself or her own sake, but she'll take everything that leads up to it for sure! She loves being physically close to him, even if he becomes a hindrance to her work..she just can't resist him. If he's gunna start showing her affection, you bet your ass she's pulling him into her lap and keeping him there.

tldr: kHz generally prefers physical affection overall, she loves proving that she genuinely loves every inch of him by showering him in kisses and more. But she's certainly one to hand out sweet nothings like candy - and loves heartfelt conversations/moments of vulnerability with each other.

Maxime

Giving - Maxime is definitely a talker, but can't help with the excessive PDA either! I think he's likely to go on and on and on and on either with compliments, talking her up, or showing her off to others. I genuinely think he could sit there for hours staring into her eyes and just talk to her about how much he loves her etc etc. He's VERY eager to flaunt what they have around other people, extremely boastful and would probably bore everyone else with his rambling about her tbh.

This of course while in public also comes with a LOT of hand holding, arm around her waist or shoulder and little PDAs just to rub it in to everyone else how great everything is for them. I feel like at home he's definitely one to pass by her and not be able to resit a kiss or a cuddle because he's so keen on receiving some back, however. I just think he'd rather have very deep conversations with her, holding her hand and gazing at her lovingly and making her laugh and blush. He's got nothing but praises and thanks for the fool of a woman who would love a roach.

Receiving - Physical!!! This bitch CANNOT get over that anyone in their right mind would love him, wholly, with the body he has. Having her hands all over him, showing love to all the parts of him that most everyone else would look at in disgust just makes his little heart SO full. (Maybe the point is that kHz has never once been 'right' in the mind lmao) His heart absolutely almost explodes each time she shows physical affection to him in public. She's not afraid to show her love for him and he LOVES that!!! And he knows its not just for show, because at home she ravages him just as much. He wants to be wrapped up in her love and affection 24/7 and will frequently interrupt her work to get it, pleased that she'll give in so freely and easily, that she too is eager to show her love to him as much as he craves it from her.

The build up of little moments into very intimate ones is one of his favourite things. How willing and eager she is to work with what he's got, and that she takes her pleasure in pleasuring *him*. :3c But also the soft, simple and domesticity of the moments in between also fill his heart to bursting. Just knowing that she genuinely loves him and will do anything and everything in her power to show it. But he also can't thank her enough for her terms of endearment and how well she comforts him with assurances when he really needs it most. She has a lot to say to him when it comes down to those special little vulnerable moments and he can't get over the amount of love and acceptance behind the sweet things she says to him.

tldr: Maxime could bore anyone to death by talking way too much about his partner!! He loves telling her over and over how important she is to him and how fulfilled and loved she makes him feel. But 1000% would die of it if she ever stopped touching him, he craves her touch way too much, if she didn't touch him he'd take it as a major sign something was wrong and start fretting for sure!!

(If you also wanna touch on perhaps his shallow(?) relationship w Valentina, I think this man is absolutely feral over the fact that kHz seems so wholly invested in him in every aspect. She's extremely attentive and excitable about everything involving him and he'll never get over being loved so deeply! It makes such a stark change and he'll never be over how loved and powerful he feels beside her.)
