family game night- o.piastri
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: family game night in the off-season
pairing: oscar piastri x fem! reader

Oscar smiled as he watched the scene in front of him. The monopoly board laid out, Hattie and Eddie to his left, his mum and Tim across from him, and you and Mae beside him. He loved the off-season. He loved going home to Australia and seeing his friends and family, he loved catching up with everyone, he loved getting to relax. Though, his favourite part was definitely getting to see you interact with his family. You and Mae got on so well, you and Eddie got on so well, and you and Hattie got on so well. Tim adored you, Nicole literally threatened him to never lose you. It was always perfect. You were perfect. He turned his head away from the game to see you braiding Mae’s hair as she lay in your lap, slightly checked out of the game. He chuckled.
“That’s so unfair!” Hattie protested against Tim’s move.
“That’s Monopoly,” he shrugged smugly, taking over their property.
You and Mae looked at the board for a few moments and then made your move. It was nothing groundbreaking, so it was on to Oscar’s turn next. You leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek before going back to Mae’s hair, and fuck. He wished it didn’t mess with his head so much. He didn’t really know why it fucked with him so much, but it just did. Everything felt so… you. It overwhelmed his senses. He cleared his throat and quickly put his turn together, but weirdly, everyone was looking at him with a smirk.
“What?” he asked, placing  more of the popcorn in his mouth. “What’s wrong?”
“Osc, you’re on the ‘go to jail’ space,” you pointed out. He sighed and moved his piece, much to the delight of Hattie and Eddie.
He moved closer to you as the next turn began, Hattie and Eddie arguing over their next move. “Unfair,” he whispered.
You looked at him confused. “It’s not my fault you’re shit at Monopoly.”
He shook his head, chuckling. “A) you’re my girlfriend, you should be my partner. B) you kissed me on the cheek, that’s cheating.”
You stared at him again, confused. “I kiss you on the cheek all the time,” you shrugged. “What’s the big deal?”
He shrugged back, not really wanting to explain it in front of his entire family. “I don’t know, just… messes with me.”
You smiled at him, amused by his explanation. “Osc-”
“Alright Loverboy, pack it up, I want my teammate back,” Mae interrupted, pushing Oscar away from you and into the board (by accident), so that the entire board flipped back to him and hit him in the face. The group was a cacophony of ‘oh my god I’m so sorry’, ‘are you ok?’, or laughing. You leaned over to him, trying to contain your laughter and cupped his cheek, looking for injuries.
“You alright?” you asked. “No broken nose?”
He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you in for a hug. “Just a bruised ego.”
You laughed and pulled back, ready to clean up the board. “You go make some popcorn, we’ll clean this up,” you told him.
He shook his head and grabbed your arm, pulling you up. “Mae can clean the board,” he shot a nasty look her way (which she reciprocated), as she started cleaning up the board. Nicole and Tim followed you two to check on Oscar and get some food, while Hattie and Eddie started to pick the film. You leant against the counter in the kitchen, waiting for the popcorn to finish. Nicole and Tim left the kitchen after some short conversation, and immediately Oscar was on you like a cat. He pressed his lips to yours, his hands caging you in against the counter, gently going up and down your sides. He pulled back and you looked at him expectantly.
“Just missed you,” he shrugged.
You shook your head with a smile. “You’re insane.”
“Maybe,” he pressed another kiss to your neck. Then another. Then another. “I’m really glad you’re here,” he smiled.
“I’m really glad I’m here too,” you grinned, wrapping your arms around his neck. “Thanks for inviting me.”
He rolled his eyes. “You’ve been coming here every year for the past 3 years.”
You shrugged. “Still nice to thank you for inviting me.”
He shook his head with a smile and pressed another kiss to your lips. How did he ever get so lucky?

Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 4
Tumblr media
Accept message request from Lando_Norris?
Your fingers hovered over the “accept” button, nervous but curious. What would Lando ever want to talk to you about?
He had avoided you like the plague since that night in Italy, and you hardly blamed him. But as far as you knew, no one except you and Nicole knew that Lily was no longer in the picture; still, what would have changed to cause Lando Norris, of all people, to be messaging you at night?
“Who are you texting?”
You jumped, not having noticed that Oscar had turned over to face you, seemingly unable to sleep.
“No one,” you said. “Just scrolling.”
Oscar confirmed your suspicions. “I can’t sleep.”
“Me neither,” you said, short and annoyed.
Oscar didn’t respond, instead just moving on top of you, holding your chin in his hands to force you to look at him.
“You can’t even sleep until I fuck you like the little whore you are, huh?” He leaned down to kiss your neck, lips grazing over where only hours before he had left dark marks in the supple skin.
“Get off me, Oscar,” you said, and he immediately pulled back.
“You okay?” he asked.
You weren’t okay. In fact, you were furious. “You realize that you never even asked me if I was okay with you talking to me like that?”
The look in his eyes said only two words: Oh shit.
“YN, I… I’m so sorry, I didn’t even think of it like that. Shit, why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
“I shouldn’t have to tell you to treat me with respect.”
“I thought you liked it?” he said, running his fingers through his hair out of nervousness.
You sat up, the anger burning within you. You hadn’t planned to confront Oscar so soon after what you had overheard, but now that you’d gotten started, there was no stopping you.
“That’s not the point. Maybe I’m tired of feeling like your personal sex toy, Oscar. Oh, but I forgot. My feelings aren’t your problem.”
Oscar exhaled angrily. “Is that really what this is about?”
You just looked at him, bewildered. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” you asked.
He began, “Look, I don’t know what you think you heard—”
“I heard you talking shit about me on the phone to your own mother.”
“It wasn’t like that, YN.”
“Then what was it like? What’s your excuse now?”
Oscar tried to begin, his mouth opening with no words coming out. He truly didn’t know what to say. “It’s been a hard time.”
“I know. I’m well aware, Oscar. Because I made your feelings my problem for years.”
“I know, and I don’t know what I’d do without you in my life—”
“I don’t want to hear your excuses anymore.”
“I’m not making excuses. I’m just trying to explain it to you.”
“Of course, you want to talk now that I won’t give you sex anymore,” you said, rolling your eyes.
“Oh my God,” Oscar huffed, and it took every ounce of your strength not to curse him out then and there. “You act like I’m some fucking villian. You can’t get mad at me for fucking you when you wanted this too.”
“But how do you know that, Oscar? How do you know what I want? Have you ever asked me what I want?” Tears began prickling at the edge of your eyes. “You haven’t, because you don’t care.”
Oscar looked at the wall, his jaw tense. “I’m not doing this right now.”
“Am I not even deserving of an honest conversation?” you said, the tears now flowing down your cheeks. It had been years since he’d seen you cry, but Oscar wouldn’t even look at you.
You got up from the bed and started changing from your pajamas to your regular clothes. “If you don’t want to talk, fine. I can’t make you. But I’m going home.”
“YN—”
“Leave me alone,” you said, grabbing your purse and exiting the bedroom. You heard him call for you again, but you ignored his pleas, walking ahead out of the apartment and to your car.
When you slid into the driver’s seat, you finally broke down, resting your head against the steering wheel. No thoughts went through your head. You weren’t much of a crier, so when you finally gave in, it was more of an act of your body giving up.
So you took a few minutes to compose yourself before driving the short distance home through the streets of Monaco, a place you’d grown to love. But his presence was everywhere. The car. The streets. Your apartment. Oscar was inescapable.
And when you felt your phone buzz as you sat with a cup of tea on the balcony an hour or so later, this reality was confirmed. He was calling.
You didn’t answer the first call, or the second. But by the third you knew that your only options were to turn your phone off, block him, or answer.
Well, what did you have to lose?
“What do you want?” you asked upon picking up the call.
“I’m sorry, YN. Can we talk?”
“Say whatever you’re going to say.”
He paused. “In person? I’m in the hallway.”
“I don’t know…”
“Please?” he asked. You sighed. Why could you never say no to this man?
“Fine. Give me a sec.” You hung up the call, took another deep breath, and opened the front door before immediately turning around to go back to your balcony. You couldn’t bear to look at him, and you welcomed the sound of the soft waves lapping at the harbor as a buffer.
He sat down beside you, and even before any words were said, you felt the tears returning. Something about this felt…final. And your intuition had hardly ever been wrong before.
“YN, I’m so sorry. When I get frustrated I say things I don’t mean. I was really out of line earlier.”
“Thank you,” you whispered, unable to truly accept his apology.
He continued, “And you’re right. I shouldn’t have just assumed that all the rough stuff was okay. And I’m sorry if I hurt you.”
You waited a moment for him to continue speaking, but he didn’t. “Is that all you have to say?”
“I just…don’t know what else you want me to say.” You looked over to him. His head was hung low, like a child in trouble at school. Not like a man who was taking accountability for his actions.
“You really don’t get it, do you?”
“What?” he asked.
You just stared at him for a moment, gathering the courage to ask your question.
“Did you talk to Lily like that?”
“Huh?” he echoed.
“Did you call her all those names? Degrade her?”
“Don’t ask me that.”
“Why not?”
“Because that’s…personal. I don’t think Lily would appreciate me talking about it.”
“She didn’t appreciate me being in your life, either. But look how that turned out,” you said, the malice lingering on every word.
Your statement cut a little too deep for comfort. But Oscar finally relented, answering, “...I would, sometimes. She didn’t care for it. But I just…get frustrated a lot. It helps me get all that pent up energy out. Half the time I don’t even think about what I’m saying.”
You hummed. The implication of his words hung in the air; you were a relief for his frustration, a thoughtless passtime.
When you didn’t respond, he got nervous. “Did I…hurt you?”
“Not physically, no,” you answered, your eyes never moving from the sight of the harbor in the distance. “But I don’t think you really care.”
“Of course I care.”
“No, you don’t.” Your lip quivered. You tried to swallow the tears that came up, but you couldn’t.
“No, don’t cry,” Oscar said, reaching out to embrace you, but you avoided him, getting up to lean on the railing. He followed you, this time not offering any comforting touch.
“What the fuck are we doing, Oscar?” you said, barely able to get the words out. He grasped for words but wasn’t able to find them before the flood of emotions spilled from you.
You began, “I used to think that the fabric of our lives was…like, sewn together. Like we were destined to always be in each other's lives. But ever since the breakup I’m so afraid that everyone who ever warned me about you was right. I feel like all these years you’ve just been using me, stringing me along so you could have someone there when things don’t work out. Like I’m just your backup plan. Like I’m not even good enough for you to treat me like a human being.”
“You really feel like I’m using you?” Oscar asked, his surprise horrifically genuine. “Was I just using you when I went out of my way to call you every week for 4 years when I was away in school, even during exams and races? When I got you this place because I wanted to live close to my best friend?” His tone went from gentle to frenzied—not angry, but desperate, like he couldn’t even fathom it. “I mean, YN, what, did you want me to cheat on my girlfriend with you?”
You looked up at him, and he realized again that he had messed up again.
“No, that’s not what I wanted. I’d never do that to Lily because you know it’s been done to me.”
“I know, and was I not there for you when you needed me?” In a way, Oscar was right. When you had broken things off with your unfaithful ex, Oscar was the first to your rescue, staying with you for days while you could barely even function. “YN, what else do you want from me?”
“I want you to be honest about what’s going on between us.”
“We’re…. hooking up, I don’t know.”
“Is that all I am to you, a hookup? A friend with benefits?” Your soft tears became full on sobs now. “Oscar, I am in love with you! You are the love of my life. And you can’t tell me that you haven’t known exactly how I felt, for years now.”
“Of course I knew,” he whispered.
“Then why would you do this to me? Why would you take advantage of me like this?”
Oscar had started crying now, too.
“I don’t know. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
“This isn’t fair, Oscar.”
“I’m sorry.”
A thick silence fell over the balcony. You knew that the conversation should be over now. There was nothing else you needed to say. But you couldn’t stop yourself from continuing the pointless hurt.
“Do you even love me?”
“Don’t—”
“Can you even look me in the fucking eyes and tell me that you don’t love me?”
“YN—”
You didn’t even let him complete his sentence, instead walking back into your apartment and slamming our now cold mug into the sink. “Just go,” you said, your voice stern.
“YN, please—” Oscar said, following you inside the apartment.
“Go!”
“You want the truth?” Oscar said, raising his voice to you for the first time since you’d ever known him. His eyes now flooded with tears, staining his cheeks. His hair was tousled, his under eye bags puffy and pronounced. He looked like a mess.
“All I’ve ever wanted is the truth.”
“The truth,” he began, swallowing, his voice cracking as he spoke. “The truth is that I’ve been in love with you since we were sixteen.”
“No—”
“Yes, YN,” he said, his voice raising again.
“No, fuck you, Oscar, that’s not true!” You were both sobbing messes now.
“Yes it is,” he begged, his voice ragged.
“Then why would you do this?”
“Because…” he paused, taking a deep breath and sniffling, trying to regain his composure. “Because we were best friends, and you lived with us, and I was so scared of fucking things up.”
“So you went and just found a girlfriend instead?”
“No, it…” he looked away from you and took a sharp exhale. “It wasn’t as simple as that. You…” He let out a frustrated sigh. “It was just…complicated. You were the girl who lived with us, like another sister, I mean, I couldn’t have feelings for you of all people. So I was so scared.”
He looked at the wall, scarating his neck, and continued. “And when I met Lily, it was all just…simple. Everyone liked her, she was nice, she’s smart. When I brought her home she fit right in, the fans loved her. She was everything I needed her to be, y’know?” He exhaled.
His gaze fell to the floor and lingered as he continued. “I didn’t love her at first. I mean, I liked her, she was great, but it was more about just…filling a need, I guess. But I did fall in love with her later. I tried to love her with my whole heart, I really did. I thought that what I felt for you would just go away but obviously it didn’t. And then she fucking left me. As she should, honestly.”
Oscar nervously looked around the room until he could no longer avoid your piercing gaze, face frozen in disbelief.
“You’re horrible, Oscar.”
“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.”
“You used me. You used Lily. And all of this from the very beginning was about… my family? I’m sorry you all had to take me in because no one else would. I’m sorry I didn’t go to a fancy boarding school in London. I’m sorry that my parents are two pieces of shit that didn't want to take care of me when I was a literal child.”
“It’s not that—”
“But it is. That’s what you said.”
“It’s not you, YN. I mean, it was, but we’re not kids anymore. I love you. It was just… awful circumstances.”
“And now? What’s your excuse? I cut off my parents. And Lily fucking left you. So why are you just using me now?”
“It’s just too much right now. The breakup, the championship…I know if I try, I’ll just fuck it up. I lost Lily, I can’t lose you too.”
“Why? Because then you’ll have no one to warm your bed when you’re sad?”
“You don’t know what it’s like to lose someone that you thought you’d spend the rest of your life with!”
“You’re right, I don’t. Because the person I want to spend the rest of my life with is you, Oscar. But you don’t want me. You never have. I’m your backup plan until something better comes along. That’s all I’ve ever been. I’m not good enough for you, you don’t love me. I don’t even know who you are any more.”
“You said I was the love of your life,” Oscar said, his voice lowered now.
“You are. But I’m not yours. I don’t care what you say you feel. If you really love someone, you don’t treat them like that.”
“I’m so sorry. That’s all I can say.”
You let out a shaky breath, exhausted of all energy from the fighting. You didn’t even have it in you to be angry anymore.
“We shouldn’t do this. We should just go our separate ways and be done with it.”
“No, YN—”
“You have a championship to focus on, don’t you?” you said.
“You’re my best friend,” he said through his tears. “I need you.”
“I’ll finish out my employment contract through the end of the season. You can sell the apartment. I’ll pay back Mum for anything she had to spend on me when we were younger.”
“YN, please,” he begged.
“Don’t, Oscar,” you said, your voice soft now. “Just let me go.”
“Can I kiss you?”
The correct answer should be no. You should have told him to get the fuck out of your apartment and never come back. But it was Oscar.
You didn’t answer him, instead just walking up to him and embracing him, letting him hold you in his strong arms as his lips met yours one last time. His lips were salty with tears, but for once his touch was soft and gentle.
When you pulled away, he stayed close to you, pressing his forehead down to yours. “I love you,” he whispered.
“Go home. You’ve got a flight to catch in the morning.”
You could call in sick to the United States Grand Prix in Miami; Oscar could not.
Well, theoretically, he could. God knows the reserve drivers would be happy to take his place and show off in front of the teams that were always scouring for new blood. But he couldn’t back down now. Not with a trophy looming so ominously over his head.
And especially not in Miami. Everyone hated Miami. Everyone except Lando, that is.
And as Oscar mindlessly paced the paddock back and forth, praying to God that no journalists would pester him for an interview, he couldn’t escape the reminder of his teammate’s victory.
“Well, things seem to be heating up here in Miami! The race continues between McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in this early battle for the World Driver’s Championship. Piastri is putting in a valiant effort, but who can forget Lando Norris’ first victory here last year? It’s incredible to see how far he has come in such a short amount of time—”
He really needed to stop walking past the commentator’s box.
This is usually when Oscar would try to find you in the paddock, or send you a text from halfway across the world. But he couldn’t do that anymore; you hadn’t quite barred him from communication, but what could he say?
He just needed to focus. Perform. Drown himself in the work. That’s what he told himself as he made his way back to the McLaren garage, away from the prying eyes of the media and the haunting words of the commentators. That’s what he told himself as he slipped on a set of headphones and nodded along as his race engineer spoke, acting as if he was paying attention.
That’s what he told himself as he climbed into the car, took a deep breath, and pressed his foot to the gas.
Thousands of miles away, in Monaco, you were supposed to be having dinner. Actually, you were supposed to be in Miami, taking photos of Oscar in all his glory.
But you couldn’t face him. You couldn’t eat. You couldn’t even sleep.
In the corner of your living room sat a box with Oscar’s old stuff in it. You stared at it as if it had the eyes to stare back. Your hand mindlessly swirled your fork around your remaining food, now cold and mostly uneaten.
Why did this feel like a breakup?
You wanted to scream, but you’d already gotten noise complaints from the fight days prior. So instead, your apartment was deadly quiet.
You sighed, moving to your bedroom and collapsing in the soft covers, having decided to give up and indulge yourself with a night of bed rotting. But even your bed felt empty. The sheets held a faint trace of Oscar’s scent. It would come out with a simple wash, but laundry was the furthest thing from your mind right now.
You needed a distraction. You grabbed your phone and immediately went to social media to mindlessly scroll.
But in your notifications was one you had nearly forgotten about: that message request from Lando.
You opened it without even thinking, unfortunately sending the read receipt even though you weren’t in the mood to talk to anyone right now.
Hey, not to be weird but do you know if anything’s going on with Oscar? He’s been acting odd recently.
You groaned in frustration. You couldn’t escape your best friend.
The message was sent a while ago—when the pair were in Bahrain, actually. You should have just deleted it and acted as if you never saw it. But you felt horribly awkward leaving Lando on read.
Yeah, he and Lily broke up :(
Was the frown really necessary? Should you say more? You didn’t have the energy to think, sending the message without much fanfare. You locked your phone and put it back on your nightstand.
But only a few moments later, it buzzed. Another message from Lando.
But…Lando was in Miami? At the circuit? He should be driving, not texting you. You opened your phone and clicked on the notification.
Damn, that’s rough. I thought they were endgame. You in the paddock?
You raised an eyebrow. Why would Lando Norris, of all people, want to know where you are?
No, I’m back in Monaco.
Another nearly instant reply. Ah, I was hoping to make a cameo on Oscar’s Instagram haha. You’ll be at Imola though?
This whole interaction felt…weird.
I will! I’ll be sure to get some good team shots lol
You tried to match his energy with your reply, but you couldn’t shake the odd feeling that this wasn’t right. But as you finally did put your phone down and retire for the night, your mind kept racing, coming to wildly different conclusions.
Maybe Lando did want to be friends. Maybe, now that Lily was out of the picture, he felt more comfortable around you. Maybe he was just trying to smooth things over with Oscar in the championship battle. Maybe, maybe, maybe.
Or maybe you were so used to Oscar’s lying and manipulation that you couldn’t imagine someone talking to you just for the sake of friendship.
You huffed to yourself as the thought crossed your mind. You pulled your blanket up and buried yourself in it, as if the thoughts were something physical you could hide from. You fell into a tense sleep.
Oscar couldn’t sleep, though. He could barely sleep back when he had you at his beck and call, let alone when you all weren’t speaking to each other.
How had he fucked up so badly? He brought his hands to his face and roughly exhaled. Like you, he had resigned himself to spend his night scrolling, until he too noticed an unanswered message.
Except it wasn’t from Lando. It was from Lily. As if things couldn’t get any worse.
She was brief and to the point.
I just wanted to let you know I’ll be at Imola for a company event. I doubt we’ll run into each other. Hope you and YN are well.
Her words stung. The professionalism where there once was warmth and love. The perfectly petty dig at him and you, assuming that he had already moved on (though, she wasn’t exactly wrong).
He wanted to throw his phone off his hotel room balcony. From the slight crack in the blinds, he could see palm trees, and the ocean far off in the distance. And he knew that back in Monaco, you’d be staring at the same moon, hearing the water in the distance as it lulled you to sleep. The miles between you during race weekends had always been numerous, but the distance wasn't—not until now, at least.
He slammed his phone on the nightstand and took yet another sleeping pill.
It was going to be a horrible week.
And, unfortunately, the morning wasn’t much better. Another oh so friendly interaction with his teammate.
“Hey, Oscar, wait up,” the Brit called, jogging to catch Oscar as they both entered the paddock. Oscar slowed his pace but didn’t stop, hopeful that this would be a clear sign that he wasn’t here for conversation.
When he did catch up, Oscar just gave Lando a small nod as a greeting.
“Hey, I, uh, heard about you and Lily. I’m so sorry, mate.”
Oscar turned, making a confused and irritated face. “Who told you?”
“YN. Well, I asked her if you were okay.”
The Aussie made a small grumbling noise.
“I was just worried, you know. You just seemed like you were going through some stuff. You know I’m always here if you need me, right?”
“I need to beat you,” Oscar said, but his words had no bite to them. There was no snappy anger anymore, just exhaustion.
“Of course,” Lando said, smiling, as if he thought his teammate’s championship ambitions were nothing more than comic relief. “But for real, man, I’m sorry and I’m here for you.”
“Thanks,” Oscar said, though he didn’t really mean it. He just wanted to be alone.
In Monaco, you were breaking your first cardinal rule of a breakup (even a friendship breakup) and turning on your TV to watch Oscar drive.
You had managed to go without watching the free practices and even quali, but you couldn’t bring yourself to not watch the Grand Prix.
And it was good that you tuned in, because he won.
You nearly threw your phone across the room when he finally passed the checkered flag. You had been practically holding your breath since he secured the lead in a masterfully timed pit stop mid race, beating out Max Verstappen to bring home his second win of the season.
So, maybe he wouldn’t hate Miami as much anymore.
Your phone—secured now on your nightstand to prevent any race-related breakage—loomed in the distance as you debated sending him a congrats text. It wasn’t like you all had gone through a true breakup; you weren’t even together. But you knew you couldn’t let yourself end up in his bed again. You knew that he was a broken man, and you couldn’t fix him.
So your friendship had come to occupy this odd liminal space in which neither of you knew exactly where you stood. At some point, this would have to be discussed, but clearly neither of you had learned your lesson on healthy communication.
You wanted to tell your best friend that you were proud of him. Was that such a bad thing?
It wouldn’t be, if you could ignore that voice now echoing in your mind.
Since when are her feelings my problem?
You nearly gagged at the thought. Yeah, you weren’t texting him.
And back in Miami, Oscar anxiously awaited a text that would never come.
“Oscar, mate, quit staring at your phone and let’s celebrate!” Lando teased, patting his teammate on the back.
Oscar just sighed, opening his phone again to find no messages from you.
“She’s not coming back,” Lando said. “So either you get drunk enough to call her, or you get drunk enough to find someone to replace her. Either way, you’re getting drunk tonight.”
“Really, Lando?”
“She destroyed a five year relationship over some stupid shit, and you just won another grand prix. So yes, I think you should get fucked up with me tonight!”
“Don’t talk about Lily like that, mate. And besides, I’m not even waiting on her.”
Lando raised an eyebrow. “Then who are you waiting on?”
Oscar’s defenses were wearing down, even while sober. “You know who.”
“And you still want me to believe that you two aren’t hooking up?”
“It’s…complicated.”
“Spill.”
Under normal circumstances, Oscar was never the type to discuss his personal life at work, much less with his rival for the championship. But as the plan of going out was abandoned in favor of a nice bottle of Cuban rum ordered to the room, Oscar found himself spilling his secrets like a teenage girl at a sleepover.
“And then I just…” he hiccuped, “I told her everything. And she didn’t believe me, and I don’t blame her, but it fucking hurt, you know? And we were just screaming at each other, she said we should go our separate ways. What am I supposed to say to that? And I still haven’t heard from her, but her and Lily are gonna be at Imola. I don’t know what the fuck I’m going to do.”
“Mate,” Lando said, slurring his words, “You fucked this up worse than I fucked up the championship last year.”
The two drivers laughed—otherwise, they’d have to cry at the peril poor Oscar had put himself in.
But the time flew by, and soon enough Oscar found himself on a flight to Italy, which he secretly prayed would crash so that he could avoid this entire charade.
Of course, on all your respective flights, the feeling was mutual; neither you, Oscar, nor Lily really wanted to be there. But duty called, and you were nothing if not professional.
It was an odd place to be; on one hand, you loved this job. It was fun getting to explore the world with your best friend and get paid to take pictures and make silly videos. The electric atmosphere of the paddock was one that had always felt like home, like you belonged there.
On the other hand, every time you thought about seeing Oscar again, you wanted to puke.
Thankfully, when you did inevitably see him again, your lunch did not resurface. You operated like a robot; no banter, no friendliness, just stark professionalism.
And Oscar didn’t know what was worse; not having you there, or seeing you act like a stranger.
The one silver lining, at least, was that Lily was nowhere to be found. He couldn’t handle those emotions too.
So, again and again throughout the weekend, he repeated that manta to himself: Just focus on work. Just focus on work.
He said it to himself one last time before he hopped in the car for qualifying. Just focus.
But he just couldn't. From the seat of his car, the chaos of the pit lane and the gaggles of photographers were just blurs, unidentifiable blobs. I had always comforted him to think that one of those was you, watching him. Now it was haunting.
And somewhere, buried away in the paddock, Lily was there. Oscar could imagine it; her polished and professional demeanor, almost perfect, as she schmoozed up to that one executive from the company that he swore always had a thing for her.
He wanted to scream. Instead, he had to pull the car into the garage as the session was stopped due to an accident. It was raining heavily. Extra caution was advised, his engineer explained, but Oscar couldn’t focus. Not because of his thoughts—although, those certainly didn’t help—but rather because of what he saw across the garage.
You were chatting with Lando.
“Hey, YN!” Lando greeted as he hopped out of his car, seeing you in the back of the garage taking photos. “It’s nice to see you.”
“You too,” you said, though it wasn’t particularly true.
“Looks like we’re going to be a while,” he said looking over his shoulder at the storm brewing in the distance, “want to walk the paddock with me and get some candids?”
“Sure,” you agreed, though the request confused you.
The two of you left the garage and Oscar felt like punching the wall.
At first you walked in silence, your only emitted sound being the soft click of your camera. It was kind of pointless, though, since you were supposed to be getting shots of Oscar. You knew this. Lando knew this too.
“Can I ask you something, Lando?”
“Yeah?”
“Is there any reason that you’ve been pretty…friendly lately?” you asked, controlling your tone so it came off as genuinely curious rather than suspicious.
“Honestly,” he laughed, scratching the back of his neck with nervousness, “I felt really bad about everything that happened on the trip. I was afraid I might’ve scared you off.”
Well, that didn’t make much sense. Lando was the one who had been avoiding you since the trip. But, after dealing with Oscar, you had simply accepted that men in general made no sense.
“You didn’t,” you said. “And, I mean, the only reason we ended up like that is because Lily was trying to get rid of me. But, you see how that worked out.”
“Really? She didn’t have the balls to tell you to leave her man alone?”
“Not until after you left,” you said, exhaling in exhaustion.
“Damn,” he said, looking away from you. You snapped a few photos of his candid side profile, admiring how the light hit his curls just right. “You know, the only reason I ran off in the club that night like that was because I didn’t want to get involved in all that? I mean, I wasn’t about to steal Oscar’s side chick.” He laughed.  “But from what I hear, things have changed?”
You laughed. “Oscar’s side chick?”
Lando raised an eyebrow. “You weren’t sleeping together?”
“Why do you want to know?” you laughed. Was Lando…flirting with you? No. He couldn’t be. He was Lando Norris, the most notorious playboy of the 2025 grid.
“Aw, c’mon. I want to know the drama!” he teased, flashing his boyish smile.
“Well, what if I want to know your drama?” you teased back, taking the opportunity to snap a few photos of him as you continued walking.
“Psh, I’ve got no drama. Just keeping to myself, trying to win.”
“I find that hard to believe.”
“You’re avoiding the question, YN,” he said, smirking. Holy shit, he was flirting with you. But did you really mind? It felt nice to have that playful banter, to see a man who wanted that back and forth more than he just wanted your body. What was wrong with having a little fun?
You sighed and told him the most technical version of the truth. “Oscar never cheated. But you really thought I was sleeping with Oscar and you didn’t say anything to Lily?”
“Wasn’t my business. Besides, I thought it was pretty obvious.” His comment left a bit of a sour taste in your mouth, especially knowing the fears that Lily had confessed to you so long ago.
“No, I wouldn’t do that to Lily,” you said, and it was true. After all, you were both women.
“And what about Oscar?”
You rolled your eyes. Having a nice conversation with Lando helped you remember how not nice your time with Oscar had been recently. “Oh, fuck him,” you said weakly.
“Well, did you?”
You paused, unsure of whether or not to confess. “I already told you that he didn’t cheat. Is what, or who, I do in my spare time really any of your business?” you playfully teased.
His lips curled upwards. “I like to know what I’m getting myself into.”
The double entendre wasn't missed on you. You glanced over your shoulder, scanning the crowds to ensure that no one was paying too close attention. “You don’t have to worry about me and Oscar. But you know I run his social media, right? So I see all the gossip pages, all the shit you get yourself into. It’s a bold claim to say you’ve got no drama.”
“Oh, darling, they don’t even know the half of it,” he smirked. You all had turned around by now, walking back in the direction of the paddock. The crows were thinner now.
He continued, “But what about you, huh? You’re all bored with Oscar and now you want some real fun?” He let out a small laugh. “No, you’re not like that. Too much of a good girl.”
“You think I’m too good? I’m here flirting with my best friend’s rival for the championship.”
“Are we flirting, is that was this is?” he asked, as if he didn’t know exactly what he was doing. “I thought we were just having a pleasant conversation, catching up on the gossip.” Unbeknownst to you, Lando had gotten all the gossip from Oscar after their drunken celebration in Miami. But he wanted to see exactly how much you’d reveal to him.
“Well, sure then. I’m sure you get tired of race talk all day, anyway.”
“You say that like you think race talk is boring. But I’ve seen you at enough races to know better. Don’t play coy, you love it, don’t you? You know more about racing than most of the drivers’ girlfriends.”
It kind of unnerved you, the way Lando knew exactly how to push your buttons. The subtle you’re not like the other girls implication; both you knew it wasn’t a compliment, but rather a statement meant to rile you up and see how you’d react. And it worked.
Your voice lowered, steady yet quieter. “It’s a bit sexist to assume that women don’t know anything about racing. And knowing more about racing doesn’t make me any better than anyone else.”
“I never said that, love.”
“Hmm, but you thought it.”
“Are you in my head now?” You playfully rolled your eyes. “So tell me about all the race talk between you and Oscar.”
“Is that a euphemism for something?” you chuckled.
“D’you want it to be?” he smirked. “No, no, really. Tell me what groundbreaking F1 opinions are inside that pretty little head of yours.” Yeah, he was definitely flirting with you.
“I’ve got nothing groundbreaking,” you said as your smile loosened, contemplating how you wanted to arrange your words. “I think Oscar has a good shot at winning the WDC this year, if he can get out of his own head.”
“And what about me?”
“I think you’ll give him a run for his money. But you care too much about what random people on the internet think,” you said, ending the statement with that on the nose jest.
“You’re probably right,” he smiled. “God, you sounded like my PR manager for a sec there.”
“Not exactly dirty talk, is it?” you joked.
You arrived back at the McLaren garage. Lando walked in first, seeing that Oscar’s back was to you, and positioned himself so that when Oscar looked around, he’d see him instead of you. You were none the wiser.
He leaned down to whisper in your ear. “You still haven’t answered my question. How was he?” Lando’s face was plastered with a mischievous grin.
You playfully hit his shoulder. “Don’t ask me that!” you cooed, though you didn’t mind his closeness, the warmth of his breath on your ear.
Oscar didn’t like it, though. And when he turned around and saw your back to him, Lando leaned down next to you, and smirking, he wanted to run him over with his car.
Lando looked up for only a split second, but his eyes met Oscar’s, as if to acknowledge what he was doing. Or, as if to say, yes, I’m doing this, and you can’t stop me.
Oscar couldn’t handle the audacity of watching Lando flirt with you in front of his own eyes. Thankfully, you were tapped on the shoulder by none other than the new guy, who had broken his extremely expensive camera, and you were called away to help him figure it out.
Oscar crossed the garage to face Lando, never breaking his line of sight.
“Oh hey, mate, what’s up?” Lando asked, innocently.
“Why are you talking to YN?”
“Oh, she wanted to take some photos—”
“Don’t talk to YN,” Oscar said, his voice plain but stern.
“Mate, we were just having a chat. It wasn’t like that. Don’t be so paranoid.”
“I’m serious,” Oscar reiterated. “Don’t cross that line, Lando.”
“Okay, my bad,” Lando said, nervously laughing and carelessly throwing his hands in the air. Oscar still wouldn’t shift his gaze, even as both drivers were called to get back in their cars to resume the qualifying session.
There was something up about Lando, he could tell. But it’d have to wait. Now, he had a pole to get.
Well, he tried, but only managed to come in fourth. Lando got pole. Of fucking course.
Another sleepless night passed with no messages from you.
And the next morning, there you were as usual, staring at him only through the eye of your camera lens.
But then, across the garage, you had no problem chatting it up with Lando. He threw you a glimpse of his award winning smirk and Oscar felt violent. He didn’t like this. Not one bit.
You were doing it to spite him, that was obvious. You’d never be interested in a guy like Lando; too much of a playboy. And honestly, Oscar knew deep down that he deserved this. But it still made him sick to his stomach.
The feeling only dissipated when it was replaced by that primitive need within him to win. The lights before him went out and reason gave way to instinct.
Lando bottled the pole, losing the lead to Max after the first corner. Oscar fell back one place, narrowly avoiding a collision between Charles and Lewis, before overtaking them as they struggled to reorient their cars.
So it was just him, Max, and Lando. He could do this.
His body moved automatically. He could hear the roar of the engines, the chattering of the radio, and the screaming of the fans in the distance, but in his mind all was quiet. Laps blurred as he sped along the track, pushing inch by inch closer to overtaking Max.
Eventually he did, getting DRS and flying past the Redbull driver, pushing hard to get a good lead over him.
All that was left now was his own teammate.
“Okay Oscar, you’ve got enough space between you and Verstappen,” his race engineer said.
“I want to overtake.”
“A 1-2 is our goal right now—”
“Then he can be 2nd. I want to win.”
Silence befell the radio channel for a moment.
His engineer returned. “Okay. Papaya rules.”
Papaya rules. The phrase that haunted his dreams.
There was really no need to use the coded language anymore. The world knew what it meant—race, but keep it clean. Put the team above yourself. Don’t do anything reckless.
But Oscar was sick of being the good teammate, the one who always let Lando win for the sake of the team. He was tired of being gifted wins. Team orders were bullshit. This wasn’t about McLaren anymore. This was about his pride. This was everything.
So he pushed harder than he should have. He was wearing his tires out, he knew, but Lando just coasted along, as if nothing was amiss. As if his teammate wasn’t out for blood and gaining on him with every lap.
Lando glanced in his mirrors and saw Oscar behind him.
“Oscar’s getting close,” he said to his engineer.
“We told him papaya rules. Remember, our goal here is a 1-2.”
“He’s gonna wear out his tires.”
“Let’s just focus on keeping P1.”
But Lando knew it wasn’t that simple. This was no longer impersonal racing, just the best of the best competing against each other because it was in their nature to do so.
No, this was personal now.
Lando rounded the corner, feeling Oscar hot on his heels, but managed to defend his position. He knew that with DRS enabled at the next stretch, he wouldn’t be able to hold him off.
But in front of him, he was already close to lapping the backmarkers of the grid.
Oscar could see them in the distance; the familiar teal of Lance Stroll’s Aston Martin, and an even more familiar fumble as he drove erratically due to some mechanical issue with the car.
Lando slowed down, but Oscar couldn’t react. He swerved, hitting the barrier.
Back in the garage, the breath left your lungs.
You couldn’t resist the temptation of watching. You’d slid the headset on after Oscar had driven off, and you’d planned to leave before he got back to the garage and discovered that you’d ever been there. No harm, no foul. The allure of the purring engines and adrenaline-fueled racing was just too much to resist.
But now, hearing the violent scrape of carbon fiber against metal as Oscar’s car screeched along the barriers, your heart sunk into your chest.
“Are you alright, Oscar?” you heard his race engineer ask, his voice filling your ears.
But the silence afterwards was deafening.
“Oscar, can you hear us? Are you alright?”
All that came through was a metallic gargle of noise, a sign that the radio had been damaged in the impact. There was no way to know if Oscar was hurt or not.
A hush fell on the track as the safety car was brought out. Lando had effectively secured his win, with so few laps remaining.
Your eyes were glued to the screen, praying to whatever God would listen that Oscar would be okay. You watched as the marshalls rushed to the site of the car, huddling around the lump of broken parts that stood still on the sidelines.
Because of the force of the crash, the medical car had been deployed as well. You were frozen in place.
You had never been much of a believer in God, but all you could do now was beg.
Please, God. Please let him be okay. If he’s okay I can forgive everything he’s ever done. If he’s okay I will never let him out of my life ever again. Please, God, please let him be safe.
You chanted the prayer over and over again to yourself as the seconds ticked by like hours.
Finally, after an agonizingly long wait, you saw the marshalls carrying along an orange-clad form into the medical car.
You didn’t even think. You just reacted, taking off your headset and booking it towards the medical tent.
You weren’t the only one there, though. The tent was already swarmed with media, all craning their necks to see Oscar. You pushed your way through to the front, only to be stopped by security, since you had your media pass instead of your usual VIP pass as one of Oscar’s friends.
You panicked—to the eyes of security, you were just another reporter who was rudely trying to cut through the crowd to get to the injured driver.
“Please let me by,” you pleaded. “I know Oscar—”
“You can wait at the media tent.”
“C’mon—”
“Ma’am, we need you to leave.” You groaned, and you were about to leave before you heard the voice of your savior from out of nowhere.
“Hey!” he called. You turned your head to see who it was—the familiar, friendly face of Zak Brown.
He was on the other side of the barrier, but Oscar was still nowhere to be found.
“Oh, YN, am I glad to see you!” He turned to the security officer. “Let her in.”
“Sir, media personnel are not authorized—”
“She’s VIP, not media.”
“Sir—”
“Do you know who I am?” he said, an unusual sternness in his tone. The security officer glanced down at his pass and silently let you through.
“I’ve always wanted to do that,” Zak said, his boyish grin returning as he patted you on the back and led you along to the private area where they’d be bringing Oscar any second now.
You sighed as he pulled the medical curtain closed.
“Boy, was that a nasty crash,” he said.
“Is he okay?”
“Well, he’s alive. That’s as far as I know.”
Your heart sank again. But as if on cue, you heard the rumble of camera shutters and reporters chattering outside the tent as the marshals escorted Oscar into the tent. When he came up, the room was flooded with medical personnel, pushing you and Zak back to the edge of the curtained-off room.
A nurse rushed in. “Who’s his emergency contact?” she asked Zak.
“Her,” he said, gesturing to you. You were confused. Since when had Oscar made you his emergency contact?
“Stay here,” the nurse instructed, but even if you wanted to, you couldn’t move an inch. You resumed your prayers as Zak blabbered on and on, mainly to himself. One thing that you’d learned very quickly about Zak Brown once Oscar had gotten to McLaren is that he really liked to yap.
As the doctors and nurses filtered in and out of the room, you caught a brief glimpse of Oscar in the hospital bed, his eyes rolled back into his head, slumped over into his shoulder.
You wanted to wail.
But it was only a few minutes before everyone began to filter out of the room, creating enough space for you to finally see your friend. And when you did lay eyes on him, it wasn’t nearly as bad as you feared.
His eyes were closed; an attempt to rest, rather than a state of unconsciousness.
A nurse at his bedside turned to you. “Don’t worry. He’s going to be fine. We’re going to sedate him and transport him to a hospital, but he’s not gravely injured. He just needs some tests done that we can’t do here.”
You nodded along, not once taking your eyes off Oscar.
“And, yes, you are his emergency contact, so we’ll need you to come with us. He’s authorized you to make decisions in the event that he's unable to. But that is unlikely, of course.”
“Is he…?” you asked, gesturing towards him.
“He’s still a little shaken up. The best thing right now is to get him into a calmer environment.”
You nodded. “I’ll make sure that new guy doesn’t lose all your stuff,” Zak quipped, and you threw a smile out towards him. “I’ll meet you all there when we’ve wrapped up here.”
Ah yes, the grand prix was likely still going on outside, and Lando would have to climb the podium and take his P1 trophy home.
But as you sat in a hospital room in Italy next to your best friend, the podium was the last thing on your mind.
Oscar was still completely out of it. The doctors had come and gone, confirming that all of his tests had come back normal. No broken bones, no concussion, nothing major. Just a shit ton of bruises and a shock to the system that left him too exhausted to stay awake for more than 15 minutes at a time.
Outside, the sun was setting, but you couldn’t sit still. You held Oscar’s limp hand in your own, tracing patterns into the cold skin. You hadn’t held his hand since you were kids—no, Oscar had held your hands above your head as he pinned you to the wall only weeks ago.
You flung the memory away. Now wasn’t the time. Besides, you promise you’d forgive all that.
Either way, you couldn’t focus on that now. Oscar’s eyelashes were fluttering open, his eyes squinting at the fluorescent light above him.
“Osc!” you said, truthfully too energetic for the occasion. You dropped his hand, got up, and turned off the overhead light, leaving only the swiftly fading daylight from outside the window to illuminate the room.
He groaned as you sat back down, but still mumbled a small thanks.
“Where am I?” he asked, bringing his hand up to rub his eyes.
“A hospital in Imola.”
“Shit,” he sighed.
“Yeah. You had a pretty bad crash.”
“I remember that,” he said, his throat dry and cracked. He took a sip of water. “Lando brake checked me.”
“Is that what happened? I wasn’t paying attention.”
“Yeah. Fucker,” he cursed, his voice dripping with contempt. You didn’t know what to say.
“How are you feeling?” you finally said, tired of the lingering tension.
“Awful. Everything hurts.”
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m just glad you’re here,” he said, reaching for his call button to request painkillers. “I’ve missed you.”
It was bold, doing this when he knew you couldn’t exactly be cruel to him. So, instead, you were honest.
“I’ve missed you too. I’m just glad you’re okay,” you said, reaching forward to smooth his hair away from his sweat-stained forehead. Your touch felt better than any painkiller. “We were really scared.”
“Nah, you’re not getting rid of me anytime soon,” he joked as the nurse arrived and wordlessly administered his meds. He let out a sigh as he felt the painkillers enter his system. “I run on pure spite. A little wall isn’t gonna take me out.”
You gave him a small smile. “You didn’t say anything after the crash,” you said, your voice just a quivering whisper, giving away the true depths of your fear.
“I had the wind knocked out of me. And then, everything just went black, I was fading in and out.”
“I was praying you’d be okay. It was so scary.”
“Hey, I’m okay. A little busted up, but I wasn't exactly a looker anyway, huh?” he joked, a feeble attempt to make you laugh. You sniffled and smiled.
He continued, “Can I use my near-death experience as an excuse for us to make up?”
Your smile dropped and you bit your lip.  “Osc…”
“I just want my friend back,” he said, cutting you off. “Look, I can’t be the boyfriend you deserve. Not right now, at least. And I think, after all the shit I did, you wouldn’t want me to anyway. But I miss my friend.”
“I miss my friend, too.”
Your heart to heart was interrupted by a knock at the door. The same nurse from before poked her head in. “Excuse me?” she asked in an Italian accent, and you looked up. “There is a visitor asking to be let in. She said her name is Lily?”
You couldn’t help the face you made. What on God’s green Earth was Lily doing in Imola?
“Um, yeah, let her in,” Oscar said. He didn’t react, though you scooted away and sat at the edge of your seat, ready to leave at any second. “Stay,” he whispered to you, and you did.
A few moments later, you saw her walk in, and the atmosphere was thick.
“Hi Oscar,” she exhaled, grateful to see him okay. He greeted her back, but she didn’t even look at you. You got up to give them a moment, but Oscar reached out and grabbed your wrist. “Don’t go,” he said, and the look in his eyes was impossible to refuse. You tentatively sat back down.
“How are you feeling?” Lily asked, and the two exchanged pleasant conversation back and forth. You wanted nothing more than to jump out of the window that now showed the sunset over the trees. Normal visiting hours would be ending soon.
“Well, I just wanted to make sure that you were okay,” she said, getting up to leave. “I’m glad you’re doing well. You too, YN,” she added on the end, but you didn’t believe it. You gave her a flat but polite smile.
“Actually, YN, could we have a word?” she asked, cocking her head in the direction of the hallway.
The look on Oscar’s face told you that this was a horrible idea. But one of you was confined to a hospital bed, and the other wasn’t. You ignored him and followed Lily into the deserted hallway.
She turned to you, voice full of venom. “How long have you been sleeping with Oscar?”
“What?”
“You heard me,” she said, plain as day.
“I’ve told you before, Oscar never cheated on you.”
“That’s not what I asked.”
You turned your head in confusion. “What are you getting at?”
Lily angrily sighed. “You think that you can just waltz around the paddock talking shit about me with Lando, and that I’m not going to hear about it?”
Had Lily been at the paddock? Or even worse: had she somehow heard you?
“Well, if you actually heard my conversation with Lando, you’ll know that I stood up for you.”
“I thought you were a girl’s girl,” she said, deflecting from your defense.
“I am.”
“Then why were you in bed with my boyfriend 4 days after we broke up?”
“Your ex boyfriend,” you said, meeting her level of venom. “You left him.”
“I just thought, after all that talk, you’d have the decency not to prove me right.”
“Lily, I was honest with you. If you’re mad at Oscar, don’t take it out on me. He’s the one who suggested it. I told him it was a bad idea.”
“But you did it anyway.”
“And I felt horrible about it. So I stopped.” Your voice was sharp. “Who told you any of this?”
“It doesn't matter. I hope you’re happy.”
“I hope you are, too. Genuinely.” You lacked the words to say what you really wanted to. He treats both of us like shit. He used us. I am not your enemy. She wouldn’t want to hear it anyway. She wordlessly walked away, scoffing and mumbling to herself.
You didn’t say anything either as you walked back into the hospital room and slumped in the chair.
“I’m guessing that didn’t go well?” Oscar said.
“Nope.”
“Well, we were in the middle of something…”
Oh, right. The conversation where Oscar was trying to get back in your pants.
“I’m not going to fuck you, Oscar.”
“I’m not asking you to.”
“We can let anything lead to that. Not again.”
“I understand,” he said. “I just want my friend back in my life. Like all of that never happened.”
“Could we even do that?” you asked. It felt like a line had been crossed, moving your friendship in a way that couldn’t be undone.
“I promise. And I know my word doesn’t mean much, but really, I promise. Never again.”
Haven't you promised that you’d forgive him?
“Okay,” you said, “Okay.”
Oscar smiled at you, showing off his bunny teeth. You still loved him. You couldn’t help it. But true to form, you could never stay away.
“Oh, and by the way, congrats on Miami.”
You fell asleep in the chair, having refused to leave Oscar’s side. He’d be discharged in the morning to make his flight back to Monaco, though it was questionable whether or not he’d be able to race in the iconic Grand Prix.
True to his word, though, Oscar got one final set of visitors in the dead of night.
The first was Zak Brown.
“Oscar!” Zak yelled, before Oscar shushed and pointed to your sleeping form. You stirred but didn’t fully wake, and Zak placed his hand over his mouth and raised his eyebrows as Oscar let out a quiet laugh.
“Hey Zak,” he said, his voice hushed.
“Glad to see you’re doing better.”
“Yeah, I made it,” he mused. “Hey, what did the FIA say?” Oscar’s phone had died since you had fallen asleep, and his charger had been left at the track.
Thankfully, Zak had brought his (and your) belongings, and he placed the bag at the foot of the hospital bed. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, the penalty, from the crash?”
“No one got a penalty.”
“But, Lando brake checked me.”
“Lando barely avoided a crash with Stroll.”
“I know, but he didn’t swerve, he slowed down. He had room to swerve, I didn’t. How did no one get a penalty?”
“That's just racing.”
“He intentionally slowed down to stop me!”
“Oscar, I highly doubt that that’s what happened. It was a crowded track, and you all had to react in a split second. These things happen, you know this.”
Oscar wasn’t at all pleased with this answer, and it was worsened by the appearance of his second visitor: Lando himself.
“Ah, there’s our grand prix winner!” Zak said, giving him a hearty pat on the back.
Lando smiled, and Oscar wanted to throw up.
“Had to bring it home for the team,” he said, smiling at Zak. “You doing alright, mate?” he asked.
Oscar was already tired of people asking him how he was feeling. “I’m fine,” he said.
“Lando gave Stroll an earful after the race.”
“Oh yeah, probably getting fined for that one…”
“Why? I didn’t crash because of Stroll. You brake checked me.” The pain was making Oscar more irritable. He’d need another dose of meds soon.
“No, Stroll was driving like an idiot out there, I had to slow down.”
“No, you had to move. You’re not stupid. You just didn’t want me to overtake, didn’t you?”
“Okay, boys, let’s save this for the track,” Zak interjected. Oscar just grumbled. “I’ll meet you outside, yeah?” he said to Lando, who nodded but stayed behind.
The Brit glanced at you, still fast asleep in the chair by Oscar’s bedside. “D’you tire out your babysitter?” he smiled.
But Oscar was relentless. “Don’t talk about her.”
“I thought you all weren’t on speaking terms?”
“Lando, mind your business.”
“I don’t know what your problem is, mate.”
“You think I don’t know what you’re up to.”
“I’m not up to anything. I’m just trying to be a good teammate. Jesus, Osc, they should check that you didn’t hit your head too hard, you’re so paranoid.”
Truthfully, Oscar was bluffing. He had a horrible feeling about his teammate, but no evidence to back it up. But his intuition was hardly ever wrong.
“I ran into Lily after you left,” Lando said. “I hope you don’t mind, but I told her you were here.” His tone of voice was so gentle that Oscar began to wonder if maybe he was being too paranoid.
“Yeah, she came by earlier.”
Lando’s eyes glanced back to your sleeping form, and Oscar felt his anger rise again. He didn’t even want Lando to look in your direction, let alone be speaking to you.
“Your heart rate is up,” Lando said, gesturing to the monitor that now showed the physical effects of Oscar’s anger.
“Look, Lando,” Oscar said, shifting to sit up in bed. “Stop acting like we’re friends. Stop talking to YN, stop trying to play this buddy-buddy game. We’re here to beat each other.”
“I was just trying to be kind, but I guess if you really don’t want to be friends, I can’t make you.”
“I’m serious. Leave YN alone. Don’t even go there.”
“She’s an adult.”
“And she’s mine.”
Lando laughed. “Seriously? That’s not exactly what she told me.”
The monitor beeped again as Oscar’s heart rate continued to rise. “I don’t care what she told you.”
“You can’t tell me what to do.”
“Try it. See what happens.”
A nurse gently knocked on the door, and Oscar was grateful for the distraction and relief of pain meds.
“Well,” Lando said, leaning on the door, “I guess I’ll see you all in Monaco.”

Pass Her Over
Pairing: Big Dick! Billy Hargrove x Whore! f! Reader
Warnings: Smut! Filth, literal filth, slut shamming, p n v, oral (m receiving), unprotected and protected sex (wrap it up pls), "pet" names (Doll face, Baby, slut, whore, bitch). Let me know if i missed something. This isn't pre-read, may have errors.
Summary: You are the school's slut. All the guys have at least fucked you once. You enjoy it, the attention, the play, all of it. Billy is the new "It" boy, the new King of Hawkins. Just makes sense he comes to proposition you eventually.
A/n: The purring is loud with this one...
Tumblr media
You lay out over one of the benches in the boys locker room, your skirt hiked up as Jason thrusts into your cunt. You moan as you feel him twitch inside you.
“Fuck, you feel so good…” Jason groans into your ear, leaning over you.
“So good, Jason. Fuck- just like that,” you encourage him, humping your hips back into his.
You are the whore of Hawkins High, if one of the boys needs to let off steam, you were the one to go to. You were everyone’s dream fuck, and you weren’t hard to get either. You’ve fucked every guy on the basketball team, except one. The new guy.
You don’t know much about him, other than his name is Billy and apparently he’s a total douche. You were going to probably meet him tonight at Tommy’s party.
You both finish, Jason discarding the condom while you pull back up your underwear. You both leave separately out back into the school, being sure not to get seen together.
You meet up with Carol and Vicki, who stand out in the hall. “He’s got some tutor session…” you catch Carol say as rolls her eyes.
“Who?” You ask, moving closer to the group of seniors you associate with.
“Tommy. He said he has a tutor now, for Chemistry. And he’s having to meet up with them during lunch today so he can’t sit with us.” She explains, sounding agitated.
“That sucks.” “Yeah, and not to mention you can’t! You have your cheer thing, which means it’s just Vicki, Tina, Nicole, and I with the new guy.” Carol groans, “which I guess is fine because he’s hot, but damn.”
“Oh yeah, I forgot about that!” You try to change the topic, “He’s hot? Did you two already see him today?” Carol and Vicki make eye contact because turning to you.
“Smoking. That man is a meal. (Y/n), you have to tell us how he is when you fuck him.” You sigh.
“‘When?’” You question.
“Bitch, yes! When! I need to know the details, unless Nicole can dive in first.” Carol mentions which gets Nicole’s attention.
“Maybe, god would I give to ride that man…” “Nicki!” Carol smacks her shoulder, causing the group to giggle.
“Well, I have to go, my uh… practice start soon.” You explain before walking off.
You weren’t totally lying, the cheerleaders of the Junior class were getting together during this lunch period to practice some more, but that wasn’t what you were doing.
You step into the boy’s bathroom connected to the gym, only to get yanked by your next fuck into one of the stalls. “Tommy! Jesus Christ, you scared me!” You smack him on the arm.
“Sorry, god I just couldn’t wait any longer, Carol is great, and I love her. But you are just too good to pass up.” He locks the stall door before picking you up, wrapping your legs around his waist as he shoves your back into the door.
It doesn’t take long before your underwear is dangling on your thigh as you holding the top of the door as his cock drills into your needy cunt. You enjoy it, your cunt still a bit raw from the fuck it got from Jason.
“You fucked Jason earlier, right? Jackass wouldn’t shut up about it.” Tommy groans.
“Oh yeah? Ah- Is he trying to use me a-as brownie points or-“ you moan as he thrusts harder.
“Guess so. Trying to act all big saying he’s not a loser virgin.” Tommy grabs your hips and yanks you down on his cock, making your toes curl. “Doesn’t know we all fuck you though.”
The rest of the day goes by quick, classes pass by in a blur between your other “appointments.” When the last bell rang you were under the bleachers, two guys fucking you. Your mouth wrapped around one cock while your pussy is fucked by the other. You are dropped quickly when people start talking, walking into the gym. You straighten out your clothes and head out, going home to get ready for the party later.
Tumblr media
You get out of the car, straightening out your little dress, wiggling the tight fabric back down your legs. Carol presses the lock button on her keys after the others get out as well. You follow the girls into the house, where Tommy walks up and greets you all, kissing Carol and throwing his arm over her shoulders.
"You girls want anything to drink?" He asks, gesturing to the kitchen with his free hand.
After everyone gives their drink orders, Tommy makes a sophomore get them for you. Before the drinks even make it to your hands, Tommy suddenly gets really excited and runs outside to the backyard. Carol rolls her eyes and you all follow him, only to find him cheering on some guy on the keg. After the guy chugs doing a keg stand, he falls back down with the beer dripping down his chin and onto his exposed chest. Something about it is... hot.
"That's the new guy," Nicole whispers to you, "His name is Billy Hargrove, fucking sexy."
"Have you fucked him yet?" You ask looking over at him, which she just sighs.
"Unfortunately not, but maybe tonight." She gives you a wink before walking over to him. God the look he gives her says everything you need to know about how he is. Toxic men just do something for you.
"Oh! (y/n)!" A very cheerful voice calls out to you which you turn around to see your friend and fellow cheerleader, Chrissy, "have you seen Jason? He said he would be here tonight..." You loop arms with her so she doesn't get lost and look around for her.
"I think I see him over there," you point in the direction of the backdoor, where Andy is clinging onto some whore with Jason just awkwardly standing there.
"Oh, gosh, thank you!" Chrissy runs off to her lover boy.
A good hour into the party someone comes up behind you, wrapping one arm around your waist. "Having fun?" A voice, this time sounding much nicer than Chrissy's, comes from behind you. You don't look over your shoulder, instead you grind your ass into the guy's crotch.
"Better now," You finally look over your shoulder to the guy, shockingly having to look up a good bit to meet his eye. Billy Hargrove now stands with his fingers already tangling into the fabric of your dress on your hip. You don't even react at how the fabric lifts up to your hip, practically flashing your ass to the rest of the party if he wasn't right behind you.
"Oh?" Billy leans down a bit, giving you a little nudge to get walking, leading you away from your friends. "I heard from Tommy that you know how to show a guy a good time, is that true, Doll face?" He lifts his free hand up to your hair, brushing a strand out of your face.
"Maybe," you smirk at him, depends on your definition of 'fun' honestly... personally mine is sex." You are being forward sure, but how where you supposed to act when a new guy with an obvious big dick that you can feel rubbing against your ass propositions you?
"Forward, good. I like a slut who knows what she wants." He squeezes your hip, messaging the fat there. "How about we go upstairs? Tommy says he has a free room for us to use." You nod, letting him lead you, guiding you to the stairs and up them, a few soft moans leaving you when his bulge rubs against you.
You shoves you into the nearest bedroom, which happens to be the master bedroom, and shuts the door by slamming your back into the door, locking it. His hand instantly yanks your dress up over your hips before he shoves his hand down into your panties. His fingers run over your already soaked cunt.
"Fuck, already wet, Slut?" He sinks two fingers into you, earning a beautiful moan from your lips. "Oh yeah? You like when your cunt is used? Like being the girl who gets passed around?" He watching your face twist up as his fingers curl inside you, hitting that perfect spot.
"Ah-!" You reach for his arm, grabbing it as your legs already buckle, the previous fucks of the day finally catching up.
"Oh, fuck no. Whore needs to be treated like one." Billy scoops you up before throwing you onto the bed. "Strip." His voice is demanding, powerful. You obey him, yanking your dress over your head and pulling down your underwear, kicking them off and onto the floor. "God, look at you. No bra too?" Billy grins, "Are you like this with every guy? Needy for a dick?" Billy unbuckles his belt, yanking it out of the belt loops without any issue.
"Do you talk to all your fucks like this?" you give him a grin. "Cause I really like it." Billy chuckles, pulling off his jacket.
"Be a good bitch and come here." He waves one finger at you, beckoning you to him. You obey, crawling over to him, getting on your knees on the foot of the bed. "Good. Now undo my pants for me." You do so, unbuttoning the jeans on his hips before pulling them down. The tent of his boxers looks even bigger without the heavy denim holding it down.
Fuck, he's got to be huge.
"Go ahead." He stares down at you, not even tilting his head, just watching you with his eyes. You take his words as an ok, reaching up and tugging his boxers down. You don't even flinch when his huge cock springs up at you, smacking your cheek. "Suck it."
You feel your cheeks heat up. You've sucked lots of dicks before, but you've never had one this big. God and he's supposed to go inside you?
"Suck. it." His voice is more firm, catching your attention. You swallow hard before taking the base of his cock in your hands, one hand around it just barely covering the circumference. You take his swollen tip into your mouth, licking the bit of precum that leaks out before slowly moving your head to take in more. Billy groans, the noises he makes not helping your situation as your bare cunt barely rubs against the comforter.
"That's it, Baby. Take it nice and deep." Billy watches you take more of his cock into your mouth, the drool dribbling out from the corner of your lips. He moans, bucking his hips forward which causes you to gag. You try to pull away, but his fingers lace into your hair, pushing his fat cock further down your throat. You feel your eyes water.
"Come on, Bitch. You call this a blowjob? You can take more of me." He shoves your head further onto his cock, your instinct being to grab his muscular leg, trying to brace yourself in some way. You moan, the feeling of your throat being just so full.
"Mmm-!" You gag on him again, but then he starts moving your head for you, thrusting his hips as he fucks your throat so brutally. It feels like you're properly being used. For once you don't have to ask for the guy to be rough.
"That's it, such a good slut, take my cock deep into that used throat." You can hardly breath as he goes faster, your eyes rolling back as you feel your cunt clench around nothing.
Fuck... fuck... Are you actually about to cum from this?
He continues to fuck your throat, his cock twitching as your tongue works skillfully around it.
"Fuck yeah, just like that." His hands yank at your hair, causing you to moan, the small breaths you can get only pushing you closer to coming undone. He thrusts one last time deep into your throat, and you feel your cunt spasm as you cum onto the comforter under you, creating a wet spot. He rips his cock out of your mouth, causing you to gasp for air and collapse onto the bed.
"Shit. Did you cum? Just from sucking my dick?" He grabs your ankles and shamelessly lifts your legs, spreading them wide so he can see the embarrassment of your cunt twitching and dripping. "Shit, look at that." He climbs onto the bed, sitting on his knees as his huge cock slaps down onto your stomach. You moan, his large balls smacked up against your cunt.
"Beg, bitch. Beg for my cock like a good fucking slut." He orders, bucking his hips against you.
"W-Wait, no condom?" You're still trying to catch your breath from sucking that monster. Now he wants to put it in you?
"Don't you wanna feel my cock fill you?" His question is rhetorical, "It feels even better without the condom, plus I always break them anyways. Now, be a good bitch and beg." He orders, moving your ankles to be over your head.
"O-Oh, fuck..." You look down at his fat cock as it rests against your stomach, the swollen tip angry for attention. "Please... God, please, Billy." you can't even believe you're doing it.
"Please what?"
"Please fuck me. Please, ruin me. Please, Billy- Ah!" You gasp as you feel his tip press against your slit.
"Better take it all, bitch." Billy growls at you before thrusting hard. His cock forces inside you, practically ripping you open. "That's it, Slut. Nice and deep." He grips your hips and yanks you down, pressing his body against yours so your legs stay over your head. You feel him. Not like every other guy you've fucked, you fucking feel his cock inside you. Every bump, every vein, shit, every inch, you feel your cunt clenching around him.
You feel yourself going dumb, your eyes flashing with every twitch his cock makes inside you.
"Fuck, look at that." You feel his palm rub over your stomach, looking down to see the bulge his cock is making. "Ever had a guy this deep in you before?"
You don't have time to process the question as he begins thrusting into you, hard and fast. You can't help but just moan and gasp with every tiny movement, so a full thrust feels like fucking heaven.
"Such a good bitch, taking my cock so well." He pushes your legs further down, forcing your hips to push up, giving him better access to you. "Fuck," he pushes down on your stomach, right on top of the bulge his dick is making and that sends you over the edge.
Your cunt spasms, toes curl, tongue hangs out as your head falls back, back arching, god, all the things. You've never cum so hard in your life, but he doesn't stop. He thrusts you through your orgasm, bucking his cock somehow deeper. You can't think, can hardly breath, panting like a bitch in heat as his big, fat cock ruins your cunt.
"Fuck, fuck!" You moan, whimper as you come undone again. Shit, are those stars?
Your vision blurs as you go limp, your mind fucked out as you just try to focus on the feeling of his cock drilling into you.
"Fuck, that's it. Like getting this pussy ruined? Won't be able to take any other cock now, huh, bitch? You'll only be able to get off from mine." He goes harder, faster, causing you to gasp.
"Y-Yes! Hah- Yes!" You feel stupid, your mind not able to focus on words, just his cock. This thick cock drilling into you, ruining you. Filling you oh so well.
"God, look at you. You're going stupid." Billy grins, watching you go dumb on his cock. "Love when this happens. A whore loosing her mind over my dick." He laughs, "Fuck, your pathetic cunt is gonna make me cum." He thrusts faster.
"Do you want me to cum, Bitch? Want me to fill your filthy cunt up with my cum?" He thrusts harder, hitting so deep you can feel his cock pounding against your cervix. "Gonna fill you up, you whore. You fucking whore, gonna knock you up with my kid. You'd like that, though wouldn't you? Being my pregnant bitch living off my cock." You feel his cock twitching inside you, swelling at the friction. He's gonna cum. He gonna fill you up.
He gives one more good thrust, hitting his cock as deep as possible before stopping. You feel a warm rush inside you as he finishes. You both sit there for just a moment as he catches his breath, before he finally pulls out of you, his cum leaking from your cunt.
You feel suddenly empty, your poor cunt sore and legs feel like jelly. Oh you aren't gonna be able to stand....
"Shit, you're pathetic. Can't even take a good fucking... How disappointing." He slaps your ass, hard. "Get dressed, we have to go back downstairs and act like nothing happened."

Emotional Times (OP81)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Pregnancy was a time full of hardships. Hormones on high, stress of the incoming baby, and all the sudden changes were what this father-to-be was expecting, ready to face. What he wasn't expecting was having to battle his pregnant wife's newfound sensitivity to everything that could have her emotions changing in an instant Part of my summer event!
It has been a rough time in the Piastri household. Oscar loves his wife, he really does, and god, would he move heaven and earth for her. In her current state though, she doesn’t know whether she wants heaven or earth and if he brings her the wrong one she will burst into tears, but if he brings her the right one, she will also burst into tears.
There wasn’t any winning. During moments like that, he just had to remember that greener grass on the other side. The other side where he finally has his own little family.
The couple had also both made peace with the fact he would be traveling a lot during the season and she would have to spend some of her pregnancy by herself. It was easy while she could travel in the beginning but a few complications cut her ability to do so off much sooner than the two would have liked. And she did not like this.
“Honey, please, get back in bed.” Oscar begged at 5 am. He was ready to head off to his next race, when he unintentionally woke his very pregnant wife up after giving her a kiss on the forehead.
This made her frustrated, she had finally gone to sleep after spending so much of the night tossing and trying to turn and the minute she drifts off he has the audacity to-
Then she realized he kissed her on the forehead because he was leaving her.
Now, she was holding onto him by the front door, in absolute tears at the thought she would have to do another race weekend alone.
“Please, my love. It absolutely breaks my heart to leave you but I have no choice. Don’t make this harder for me…” Oscar tried to reason with her, but he was on the brink of tears himself seeing how much she wanted him to stay, realizing how much he wanted to stay. But he couldn’t.
“Oscar, I can’t do it, please it's so hard being here all alone. I know it's cliché but I can’t even tie my shoes. How am I supposed to do anything? How am I supposed to take care of a baby when I can’t take care of myself?”
He knew she wasn’t trying to guilt him into staying or make him feel bad if he did leave. These were real concerns she had voiced before. But he felt so helpless in this moment, almost as helpless as she felt constantly.
The realization hit him, he couldn’t leave her like this. It was unfair to both of them. He had to do something.
“I will figure something out, don’t worry, Honey. Go back to sleep and when you wake up it will be much better, I promise.” He really shouldn’t promise that when he didn’t have a plan, but he couldn’t come up with one while she was sobbing into his neck and holding on for dear life.
With a few hiccups and a small nod, he wiped her tears and gave her a kiss as he left the apartment. 45 minutes later than he would have liked, hopefully the group he was sharing the jet with didn’t leave him behind.
She already felt better when she woke up, having gotten hours of sleep, finally. It felt so good to wake up well rested and without that many aches. Nothing could bring her mood down.
Except when she couldn’t get in touch with her husband.
She knew he was traveling, that the minute his plane landed he was off to start preparing for the upcoming race. But no calls and no messages soured her mood real fast.
She tried to shake it off, she went about her day trying not to dwell on it, trying not to send him threatening messages for not answering her the second she texted him.
A call woke her up the next morning, well it was noon but she still wasn't pleased. Not till she saw who was calling.
“Oh sweetheart! How are you?” Nicole Piastri asked.
If there was one person she loved almost as much as her husband, it was his mother.
“I’m okay, haven’t heard from Oscar much, that asshole.” she grumbled.
“Oh I remember the days, that's why I have my twitter afterall.” Nicole said, making her laugh. It was sometimes a wonder how her husband was Nicole’s son.
“Yeah well i-”
“Oh crap, honey, I have to go! But I’ll see you soon, okay? Hang tight!” Nicole said before hanging up.
She didn’t have time to dwell on the abrupt end to the call as a knock came from the front door. Connecting the two, she wobbled as fast as she could to the door, where her mother-in-law stood.
And then she burst into tears.
“Oh, he told me you were going to do that but I didn’t know it would be that immediate,” Nicole said as she went to hug her.
Through the tears and snot, she asked “Oscar? What do you mean?”
“He said he texted you, gosh, he is the worst at communication for someone who spends so much time on his phone,” she frowned at her daughter-in-law.
Quickly opening her texts, she saw he had messaged her a few hours ago:
Oscar: I told you I had a plan, just a few more hours, my love. I can’t wait to see you in a few days :)
Thus the mother and daughter-in-law started their girls weekend. My god, it was exactly what she needed. As much as she loved her husband, this was 1000 times better than what she would have done if he was here. And despite how much she missed him, the weekend seemed to fly by.
Oscar: How is she? I am only half an hour away.
Nicole: Currently napping, but she has been good! Relaxed and happy. Hasn’t even cried in the past few days
Oscar: Wow, I am almost offended she didn’t miss me more?
Nicole: She needed girl time, you couldn’t give that to her sweetheart. She also needed someone who actually knew how to correctly do laundry.
Oscar: Alright, mum, nice talking to you. I'll be back soon, please don’t turn my wife against me.
Nicole: 😉
Just as he did when he was leaving, Oscar unintentionally woke his pregnant wife up when kissing her on the forehead. Unlike when he was leaving, she didn’t get upset. She was too happy to see him that the thought hadn’t even occurred to her.
Holding him in a death grip, she recounted all she did while he was gone. She couldn’t really go out much at this point, so hearing his mom still found a way to make her weekend enjoyable was a relief.
“I haven’t even cried over something stupid in a while!” She said as she finished her account of the past few days.
“I heard, I am glad you are feeling so much better, my love. I hated being gone but hearing you had a wonderful time makes me so happy.” He said as he began to tear up, thinking about how awful it was to leave.
“Oscar, come on, just cause i'm not as emotional doesn’t mean you have to make up for it” She teased.
After pestering him about how his time away was, he remembered he had picked up something for her, and while he bought it thinking he would use it to stop her tears, why not just give it to her while she is this happy.
“I picked up your favorite,” he said as he reluctantly handed her the food he got, shuddering at the unusual combination she loved oh so much.
The sound of her son gagging as he watched his wife eat had Nicole coming into the room to investigate. The picture of her pregnant daughter-in-law, happy as a clam while she ate her food, and her son holding his nose and trying to stop himself from throwing up was a sight she committed to memory and knew she was going to bring up for years to come.
“What have you got there?” Nicole asked, knowingly making Oscar gag again as he was reminded of the food combination.
“Cottage cheese and ketchup,” she answered. Instead of disgust, the couple was confused by the light bulb moment Nicole seemed to have.
“My goodness! That is what I craved with Oscar. Gross to think about now but I loved it then.”
“What! You never told me this?” Oscar asked, astounded he would be the reason his mom had to eat a combination that disgusted him so.
“I was saving it for the next podcast I did. Think I’ll have to talk about this moment too.” His mom teased.
Rolling his eyes, he turned to his wife and immediately clocked in on the frown beginning to form.
Both mother and son had the same exact thought: Uh oh.
“You- you craved the same thing?” She stuttered out.
“Um, yeah? You okay, Honey?” Nicole asked, now on edge at the incoming storm.
Seconds of silence went by but were soon disrupted by the sounds of his wife’s cries as she took in the information.
“Baby, what's wrong? Why are you upset at that?” Oscar questioned as he went to rub her back in comfort.
“Its just- that is so sweet, and the thought that- that I could be having the same cravings, is just- I just-” His wife didn’t get to finish her sentence as more wails came out, followed by hiccuping.
Nicole and Oscar looked at each other in alarm as they realized that this was most likely the consequence of a weekend with no breakdowns. They had a long night ahead of them.

Tumblr media
contains:SMUT<3
summary:intrigued at my pure innocence, tom takes it upon himself to completely corrupt me of my purity and show me how to be “good little girl” for him.
WARNINGS:dom!tom, virgin!reader, mutual-masturbation, pet-names, praising, corruption kink, HEAVY daddy kink, age gap (reader-19 tom-24), p in v (from the back), couch sex, multiple orgasms.
notes:sorry for abandoning you guys ive been lacking motivation to finish a story, this is like my 4th draft!
“wait you’ve never had sex?!”tom questions a curious and eager gaze glimmering in his eyes, the whole world and myself included very well knew tom was no stranger to sex, so once learning of my purity he was ultimately not only surprised but determined to change that.
“y-yeah your my first kiss too, everything else is unknown to me, complete virgin..”i nervously chuckled, sensing his interest in this new found information.
“well baby whats holding you back, too scared?!”he teased giggling at my nervous demeanor, beginning to tickle and poke at the sides of my hips.
i burst into laughter as his tickling becomes more intense and unbearable causing me to squirm and wiggle, my back landing and now resting on the couch.he climbed on top of me his legs keeping me in place, his hands holding mine firmly above my head.
he looks deeply into my eyes, his gorgeous dark eyes piercing into my soul like he could hear every beat of my pounding heart.
“can i teach you hun? i promise ill show you how to do everything..make you feel so good.”he said in a soft and mesmerizing tone, his voice drawing me in right into the palm of his hand.
“b-but i don’t know how-”i mumbled innocently, my soft little eyes looking up into his, my lips quivering with jitters.
“let me teach you, show you how to be such a good little girl for me.”he quickly replied taking no further moment to dive his lips into my own, his lips tangling mine into a passionate and deep kiss.i moan into his mouth as his tongue slips inside my mouth, exploring every inch.
he pulls away letting his grip of me go now sitting up straight, he then starts signaling for me to undress.once the last piece of clothing is now gone onto the floor and no longer on my body he looks me up and down taking in every single part of my body.
“where have you been hiding all of this hm? fuck your gorgeous schatzi…”he purred a smug smile spreading across his lips.
“now spread your legs and let me show you how good this feels okay?”
“okay..”i whisper anxiously as i slowly open my legs, my pussy now exposed for the first time right infront of his very own eyes.
“atta girl, now we’re gonna start slow hm?”he explained his hand reaching out, the tips of fingers making contact with my clit and my folds, rubbing them ever so slightly.
“that feel alright?”
“y-yeah mmh..”i moan at the unfamiliar but unexpectedly delicious feeling, his fingers moving now at a firm yet still gentle pace.
“look at you, such a pretty little pussy..tell me how this feels baby.”he chuckles at my reaction knowing this was just the beginning, he now slides his index and ring finger inside my tight walls.
“o-oh god!”i cry at the feeling of my cunt stretching to the length of his large fingers.he begins pumping his fingers in and out, the pain quickly being replaced with the unknown sensation of pleasure.
“doing so good baby, such a good girl.”he praises enjoying the sight of me withering and crumbling from the pleasure he providing me, he continues pumping his fingers inside me.meanwhile using his free hand to pull down his jeans, remove his shirt, and lastly reveal his length to me.
“daddy what is that?”i mumbled taking in the never before seen sight right infront of me, analyzing his erect length, with a pinkish tip dripping with clear strange liquid.
“this is what happens when you get me excited sweet girl, lemme teach you now how to make daddy feel good..”he cooed smirking at the pure curiosity in my eyes, he pulls his fingers out of me and now takes my right hand in his bringing it down to his cock.he then begins to guide my hand up and down his length, groaning at the sensation.
“thats it baby, just like that..”he croaks in between his desperate moans, letting my hand go allowing me to now try on my own, his fingers finding their way back inside my virgin walls.
“mmhm! t-that feels so good..”
“ughh-told ya, daddys gonna make you feel good baby..”
he whispers staring deeply into my soul as he continues to savor the feeling of my small hand gliding up and down his large length, his tip oozing with sticky clear liquid.he reaches his free left hand up to my perky breast, squeezing and rubbing my tender skin.
we continue at this for a few minutes tom talking me through what i freshly experiencing, before i soon feel a weird bubble beginning to build up in the pit of my core.
“ughh d-daddy i-mmhm im gonna-!”i moan my legs beginning to squirm and shake at this point, he nods excitedly beginning to pump his fingers inside me faster and more aggressively.
i throw my head back hitting it onto the arm rest, my hands gripping on the leather of couch, my eyes rolling into the back of my head, my mind going blank, my mouth hanging open spewing the most horrendous noises.
“mmh-yeah cmon baby cum a-all over my hand, my little good girl.”he encouraged, my juices quickly spilling down on his hand coating his fingers with my precious ooze.
i rapidly come down from my rush, quickly being flipped over on my stomach, my face crashing into the couch pillows.tom climbing behind me slapping my ass before sliding his member inside my virgin cunt.
i whimper at the feeling of his girthy length filling me up inch by inch, my walls unaccustomed to being so stretched out, he then began to thrust himself inside me steadily, moaning at my precious walls clenching around his cock.
“taking me so well sweet girl, taking daddys cock like a good girl hm?”
“t’much i cant mmh-i cant!”
“mmhm you can take it baby, i know you can!”
he coos building his pace faster and harder devouring my pussy with his cock like a starved man, he simply just cant get enough of the feeling of my innocence being completely destroyed and shattered.
the living room was soon filled with the smell of warmth and sex, sound of sweaty skin slapping and string of moans filled both our ears, the couch rocking beneath us from the impact of our love-making.
“ugh!baby im gonna mmhc-cum!”he announced loudly, his hands gripping harshly at the skin of my shoulders, continuing to pound his cock inside me.
“gonna cum all i-inside that little pussy!”
he croaked fucking himself harsher and harsher than ever in my pussy, his tip kissing and hitting that special spongey part deep inside my pussy.i soon felt his seed spraying into my walls coating them completely in his sticky liquid.
i completely explode at the blissful feeling, completely seeing stars as i begin to tremble once again, my juices mixing with his.
we both pant aggressively coming down from our high, tom rests his head on the crook of my shoulder peppering gentle kisses on my smooth but wet with sweat skin, before pulling his member out of my aching pussy.
“not so innocent now hm sweet angel?”
THE END

Don’t you ever wonder what kind of secrets and plot points Venti keeps hidden? He claims to be the weakest amongst the Seven-and that could be true given his whole 500 year slumber and poison and all- but he’s still a god. AND one of the original Seven. You gotta be good at SOMETHING to survive for this long…
He’s also the only archon so far that doesn’t have a second story quest so what is he hiding?! We have accounts of him literally shaping the land with ease from both the Golden Apple Archipelago events and his character stories. We know that he has close relationships with the Hexenzirkel and somehow managed to avoid conflict with them??? And there’s also the fact from the skyward sword series that he was originally a catalyst user before picking up the bow in honor of Amos. He’s pulling a Childe when it comes to weapons he currently uses and the ones he’s proficient in.
And don’t even get me started on his connection with Istharoth and Celestia! Mondstadt already has the Thousands Winds Temple AND the nameless island where both Venti and Istharoth were once worshipped. And from Before Sun and Moon, we know that the Thousand Winds (which Venti IS A PART OF) were once called the Thousand Winds of TIME, all of whom were created and controlled by Istharoth. AND THEN you have Venti suspiciously appearing in the right place at the right time again and again and again. He even self proclaimed knowing every song: past, present, and future. Hell he’s probably one of the only few beings in Teyvat who can naturally bypass Irminsul because of his songs: Nahida already shown it’s possible to save deleted info if rearranged into fiction so the same should work for songs and poetry. And there’s also what the hydro fungus in Nahida’s second story quest said about changing forms. That you need time for growth to occur. And Nahida - an ARCHON- had trouble maintaining her fungus form for even the short period of time. She was even told that to do so for longer, one would need to bypass time itself which is near impossible. AND YET VENTI CHANGED INTO THE FORM OF HIS FRIEND IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIVING HIS GNOSIS AND HAS YET TO CHANGE BACK OR TIRE FROM FATIGUE (as we know it). HOW STRONG IS HE. Sure, the yokai in Inazuma and Adepti in Liyue can all change into a human form, but we know in game that it takes a long time and steady energy to take on a human shape, and the Adepti all seem to have that ability naturally: there’s no bending the laws of nature if it’s already natural to them. So what’s Venti’s excuse?!
As for Celestia: there’s already written in the statue of Barbatos “the gateway to Celestia” and what not. And Khanreia! In the chasm AND in the Caribert quest, Barbatos and Mondstadt keep getting named dropped. According to Dainself, the city in the chasm is supposedly OLDER than Khanreia and possibly the Seven, yet BARBATOS of all beings is mentioned in the records you find??? And in Caribert, it’s a Mondstadtian woman who that one bloke had a child with. Never mind that Mondstadt is where Kaeya and Albedo - the two characters with confirmed Khanreian origins- end up! There’s also the fact that Khanreia seems to base its gods and names and whatever around Norse mythology….which has strong ties to GERMANIC HISTORY. WHICH MONDSTADT IS BASED OFF OF. And Enkanomiya, which was once ruled by Istaroth, is Greek origin. Suspicious considering all the connections to HERMES Venti keeps portraying. (And then there’s also a connection to all three places with the hexenzerkel with their Chinese names? Like I think I read somewhere that Alice is Aries(?)/Eris(?) and Nicole is actually Nike in the Chinese version? Which are very much based in Roman/Greek origins)
Oh and something I forgot to mention earlier with the whole Istharoth connection. Mondstadt’s saying “seeds of stories, brought by the wind, and cultivated through time”. SUSPICIOUS
Tumblr media
Anyways, this has been my nonsensical Venti theory rant
And you’re stuck with me @worldsokayestmagicalgirl

𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙑𝙄𝙀𝙒- For nearly eight months, Nicole and Paige had been secretly entangled in a relationship that felt equal parts thrilling and dangerous. They’d always known each other, but everything shifted during last year’s tournament. Paige, the star basketball player, and Nicole, the cheer captain—it was the kind of romance that belonged in a teen drama, full of stolen glances and whispered promises. Paige was known for being a player, but with Nicole, it was supposed to be different. Paige swore she loved her, that she’d do anything for her. And for a while, Nicole believed it. Even when she caught Paige in compromising situations more than once, she let it slide. Paige always promised it wouldn’t happen again. Nicole wanted to believe her. She needed to believe her.

𝘼/𝙉- this is NOT read over or anything and it’s so bad so i’m sorry i had to curse your tumblr with this☹️

It was a chilly evening in Storrs, the kind of night where the crisp air made everything feel sharper, more alive. Nicole had just gotten back from her late-night class, feeling the fatigue of the day settle in. Usually, evenings like this were reserved for hanging out with Paige, but tonight was different. Paige had canceled last minute for some team bonding activity that her Coach had insisted on. Nicole didn’t take it personally—she’d been through plenty of those herself and understood how it went.
Still, the change in routine left her at a loose end.
As she kicked off her shoes and considered an early night, her phone buzzed. It was her friends, Hailee, Angie, and Brooklyn.
“You have to come out with us tonight,” Angie insisted. “We haven’t seen you since school started! You’ve practically gone ghost!”
Nicole hesitated, guilt creeping in. They weren’t wrong. Ever since things with Paige had deepened, she’d pulled back from everyone else without really noticing. “Okay, fine. I’m in,” she finally agreed, knowing they wouldn’t take no for an answer.
The best part of going out, Nicole thought as she rummaged through her closet, was always the getting-ready phase. Her dorm buzzed with energy as Hailee, Angie, and Brooklyn arrived, makeup bags in hand.
Loud music blasted from the TV as they crowded around the small mirror, trading tips and compliments while brushes and eyeliner flew around. For the first time in what felt like forever, Nicole let herself relax, laughing at their inside jokes and soaking in the warmth of their company.
“Alright, Nikki,” Angie teased, narrowing her eyes as she applied her lipstick. “Who’s the lucky guy?”
Nicole froze mid-swipe of mascara. “What?” she asked, feigning innocence.
“Oh, come on,” Angie pressed, smirking. “We’re not dumb. You’ve been MIA, and don’t think we haven’t noticed that hickey on your neck.”
Nicole’s hand shot to her neck instinctively. She laughed awkwardly, her cheeks flushing. “It’s not like that. My classes have just been insane this semester.” She stood up quickly and made her way to the kitchen.
Angie raised a skeptical brow, following her. “Right, because classes leave perfectly placed hickeys on your neck. Sure, Nikki. Tell us another one.”
Nicole sighed, realizing she wouldn’t win this battle. “Fine! Yes, I’ve been seeing someone. But it’s really not a big deal.”
Angie’s eyes lit up. “Oh my God, spill! What’s his name?”
Nicole hesitated, thinking fast. “Um… Paul. His name’s Paul. He’s sweet. And hot.”
“Paul?” Angie repeated, tilting her head. “Alright, what’s his last name? Let me look him up on Instagram.”
“Oh, he’s not on Insta,” Nicole replied quickly, pouring herself two shots from the freezer. “He’s more of an off-the-grid kind of guy.”
Angie frowned but before she could press further, Nicole checked her phone. “Wow, would you look at that? It’s already 9:30. Time to go!”
The subject was dropped—for now—as they hurried to get their coats and head out.
The four of them piled into Hailee’s boyfriend’s car, who kindly dropped them off at the local bar. As they walked in, Nicole took in the lively atmosphere: the hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the low beat of music in the background.
The girls claimed a corner table, but Nicole made a beeline for the bar. She ordered a Dirty Shirley—Paige’s favorite—and as the bartender handed her the drink, it hit her.
She hadn’t talked to Paige all night.

Coach said I can't be

I'm not exhausted
Love you💕
(nikki❤️this message)
hey p,
i haven’t heard from
you and wanted to make
sure everything was going
good, i love u❤️
Nicole set her phone down and glanced up, and there she was—Paige. In the middle of the crowded room. With another girl.
Nicole froze. The world around her seemed to blur, her focus locked on the scene unfolding before her. All she could do was sit there, paralyzed, as disbelief washed over her. Paige wasn’t just with someone else—she had lied. And to Nicole, that was the most jarring part. Paige never lied. At least, that’s what Nicole thought she knew.
Time dragged, stretching what was barely a minute into what felt like hours. Finally, Paige looked her way. Their eyes met. Nicole felt a tear slip down her cheek, unbidden and unwelcome. The moment Paige saw her, Nicole broke the connection, pushing herself up and weaving through the tightly packed bodies in the bar. She needed air.
Outside, the cool night air hit her face as she sank onto the steps, staring blankly ahead. Her tears threatened to fall, but she blinked them away, determined not to let them win.
The door burst open behind her.
“Nik! Nicole—thank God. Please, let me explain!” Paige’s voice was frantic as she scanned for her.
Nicole didn’t turn, didn’t flinch. She just stared ahead, her face expressionless.
Paige moved closer. “Ma, come on—” she reached out, her hand brushing Nicole’s arm.
“Don’t touch me.” Nicole’s voice was flat, cold, devoid of the warmth Paige once knew. She jerked her arm away.
Paige knelt in front of her, her voice softer now, pleading. “Let’s go home, Nik. We can talk about this. You’re the only one I care about, you know that. I don’t even know that girl’s name—she came up to me, I swear.”
Nicole hesitated. Her mind raced, torn between fleeing and confronting the betrayal. She exhaled sharply.
“Fine. But let me say goodbye to my friends first.”
Paige nodded, following closely as Nicole re-entered the bar. Nicole wiped her face quickly, masking her turmoil as she approached her friends.
“Guys, don’t kill me,” she said with a forced laugh. “I’ve got an important assignment due in an hour. I promise I’ll stay longer next time!”
They groaned but hugged her goodbye, none of them catching the storm beneath her calm exterior.
Outside again, the silence between them was heavy. Once in the car, Paige started the engine, glancing nervously at Nicole.
“Nicole, you know you’re the only one I want. I was trying to push her off me, I promise—”
“No.” Nicole’s voice cut her off, sharp and steady. “Stop that. You don’t get to promise or swear on anything anymore. You’re a liar, Paige. And I’m not stupid. This isn’t the first girl, and it won’t be the last.”
Her voice cracked, but she kept her eyes fixed ahead. Paige reached out, but Nicole flinched.
“Baby, come on. You know I’d never—”
“Stop calling me that,” Nicole snapped, her voice rising. “You’re a narcissistic piece of shit, and I never should’ve agreed to this. You can’t commit to anything but basketball.”
Paige’s jaw tightened, her frustration bubbling over. “Nik, what the fuck. You don’t even know what you’re saying.”
Nicole let out a bitter laugh. “Oh, I know exactly what I’m saying. How many, Paige? How many girls have you cheated on me with? Actually, forget it—I don’t want to know. Let me out.”
“What? Are you serious? The car’s moving, Nicole!” Paige veered onto the shoulder, her voice rising.
“Let me out!” Nicole fumbled with her seatbelt, finally yanking the door open.
“Nicole, stop! You’re drunk!” Paige shouted, pulling the car to a screeching halt as Nicole stumbled onto the pavement.
Ignoring her, Nicole began walking down the dark street.
“Nicole, get back in the car!” Paige called after her, panic lacing her voice. “I’m not leaving you out here in the cold!”
“Leave me alone, Paige. My dorm’s two blocks away.” Nicole’s voice was slurred but defiant as she staggered forward.
Paige caught up to her, grabbing her arm just as Nicole tripped. She steadied her, their eyes meeting. For a brief moment, Nicole saw a flicker of the Paige she had fallen for—the girl who had made the last eight months feel like a dream.
Without a word, Nicole turned and walked back to the car. Paige followed, a small, hopeful smile creeping onto her face.
“Just because i’m in the car doesn’t mean we are good paige” nicole states turning toward the door and leaning against it
The ride back was short, but the silence between them was deafening.
When they arrived at the apartment building, Paige helped Nicole out of the car, steadying her as they walked to her dorm. The night air was cold, but the silence between them was colder.
At the door, Paige hesitated, then pushed it open and followed Nicole inside.
“Out,” Nicole said, her voice low and sharp, pointing at the door.
Paige ignored her, forcing a soft smile. “Baby, you’re just drunk. I don’t wanna leave you alone like this.” She closed the door behind her and gently guided Nicole toward her bedroom.
Nicole didn’t argue, too drained to fight. She sat on the edge of her bed, watching Paige through tired, narrowed eyes. Paige set her phone down on the nightstand and knelt in front of her, slipping off Nicole’s shoes with care.
“I got you,” Paige murmured, her voice soft, almost tender. She helped Nicole out of her jacket, then started removing her makeup with a tissue from the bedside table.
Nicole didn’t say a word, just stared at Paige, trying to decide if this was love or manipulation.
“I’m gonna grab you some water,” Paige said, standing up. “Try to lie down.”
As Paige left the room, Nicole let out a shaky breath. Her eyes landed on the phone Paige had left on the nightstand. It lit up with a notification.
Snapchat: Nessa🤫🍑📞
Nicole’s stomach churned. She picked up the phone, her fingers trembling as she unlocked it—no password. The messages stared back at her:
Nessa🤫🍑📞: When are you gonna be here? I neeeed you, Paige.
Nessa🤫🍑📞: Bro, are you seriously ignoring me because of that girl you’re “with”? Like, come on, Paige. You know I’m the one—not her.🙄
Nicole’s blood ran cold. Every doubt, every suspicion she’d tried to push aside slammed into her like a freight train.
Paige walked back in, a glass of water in hand. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Nicole standing there, holding her phone.
Nicole handed it to her without a word. “Get out.”
Paige opened her mouth, but the look in Nicole’s eyes stopped her. It wasn’t anger; it was something colder, something final. Nicole stepped past her and opened the door, standing silently as she waited.
Paige hesitated, her fingers tightening around her phone. She wanted to fight, to explain, but she knew better. She could come back tomorrow. She always did. Say she was sorry, promise Nicole the world, and somehow, break it right back.
Without a word, Paige walked out.
Nicole closed the door, locking it behind her. She leaned against it, sliding down to the floor. The tears came then, silent but relentless, each one carving out a piece of the love she’d held for Paige.
For the first time, she let herself wonder if she could ever put the pieces back together.

Love me like a sailor
Clarisse La Rue x Shy!Reader
~Who would’ve thought a necklace would make such an impact on an Area kid.
˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆
Inspired by the “Sailor Song” by Gigi Perez
- these lyrics!
~Oh won’t you kiss me on the mouth and love me like a sailor?
~And when you get a taste, can you tell me what’s my flavor?
~I don’t believe in God, but I believe that you’re my savior.
Tumblr media
You had always had a sense of connection to the water, growing up you lived in a small state near the ocean. So when you arrived at camp, it was no shock that you spent most days by the murky lake
Your parent grew up as a fishermen/women constantly out at sea, leaving you with their new lover. When the day came for them to return, their lover always found their way back into your parent's arms, being loved and held.
These days were always your favorite.
When you arrived at camp, you no longer were able to see those moments anymore, it became too dangerous living in your hometown. So you came here, with a small bag in hand, and a St.Christopher necklace that your parent gave you, to always find your way back home.
It was ironic that you wore this necklace, I mean … you were at a camp for the gods and goddesses. But your parent chose to not trust them after your godly parent left them behind.
It grew easy to hide in Camp Halfblood, everyone was always busy being themselves, so you did what you had to do to get by, and then found yourself back at the lake for the evening.
Chiron was the first to notice your unhappiness in the camp, I mean how couldn’t he? You smiled at those who walked by but quickly went back to frowning. You had made one friend Nicole, she was sweet and made you laugh, but once she left, you looked lost. Like you hadn’t found the one person to keep you grounded like an anchor.
Chiron knew that if you wanted to leave you would at least need to learn to fight, so that’s when he asked Luke Castellan to help you.
Luke approached you one afternoon with a friendly smile on his face, one that made you concerned. “Y/n, Right?” he asked, a smirk planted on his lips as he pointed slightly at you. You smiled and nodded your hair “Yep … I’m sorry, and you are?”
He chuckled with a smile still on his face, clearly taking no offense. “Luke … uh Chiron wants me to teach you how to fight, with a sword, I mean.”
“I’m better with an arrow” You spoke, trying to get him to leave you alone, but he didn’t budge “Well, we’ll have time to do that later, let's go.” He spoke tilting his head in the direction his body started to turn.
On the arena field, you felt the sun beating down on you, causing small glands of sweat to drip down your neck.
He taught you the basics, and once you caught on he started to push you more.
This happened almost every afternoon for the next few weeks, and without realizing it you started to become happier at camp.
One evening as you sat on the grass catching your breath, Luke slightly taunting you causing you to smile, a girl's voice cut through the peaceful air.
“Training this girl for death?”
You opened your eyes, leaning onto your elbows as you looked up to see a curly-haired girl standing there with a scowl.
“Clarisse … met Y/n yet?” Luke spoke, twisting his sword in his hand, “Why would I” she scrunched her face in disgust. She glanced down at you and rolled her eyes “Your tea party is cutting into the hours I reserved for this area.”
Luke scrunched his face up as he looked around, and you quickly got off the ground “Sorry, we’ll get going” You spoke with a smile on your face trying to calm the storm that was brewing but Luke shook his head.
“No this is a great opportunity Y/n … Clarisse will spar you.” Luke spoke taking a step back “What” the both of you said at the same time “I’m not fighting her.” Clarisse spoke and Luke rolled his eyes.
“Come on, we both know you are great at fighting, she needs practice.” He spoke taking a spot on the grass “Ermm Luke … I just started and she's practically advanced,” but Luke shook his head a smile forming “It’ll be fine”
But it was not fine.
Clarisse had you on the ground in seconds, her staff tugging on your necklace, the sharp end digging into your skin.
Clarisse couldn’t help the smirk grow on her face, “Cute necklace, won't mind me having it would ya?” She spoke as her sharp arrowed staff pulled harder breaking the chain, causing you to gasp as your eyes shot open.
Clarisse admired the small pendant as you got off the grass “Give it” you demanded but she shook her head a mocking laugh escaping her lips as she hid her arm behind her back.
Luke was quick to act pulling you away “Alright that's it for today”
“Bu-” he cut you off by dragging you away, leaving you feeling gutted and empty from the lost contact around your necklace.
You told Luke every day, a constant reminder of the wrong choice he made, that it was his fault Clarisse had your necklace.
Luke felt bad, so the next day he went to Clarisse, and after making a huge trade (5 Coke cans for the necklace) Clarisse agreed and made her way to the lake where she figured you’d be.
It was a foggy day, archery was canceled in fear one of the Ares kids would purposely try to shoot another kid in the butt.
So there you were, sitting on a small dock, swaying your feet over the edge.
Clarisse took in a small sigh as she walked over to you, “Can I sit?” She asked even though she didn’t care what you responded to.
She sat down, rolling her eyes at the silence you formed. “Okay quit pissing yourself, here's your dumb necklace.” She groaned, taking it out of her pocket and handing it to you.
She wanted to drag it out, wanting to see if she could make you plead, but she didn't have the patience.
She let the pendant drop into your palm, causing the chain to quickly fall after it. You said nothing just looking at it, “You’re welcome” She muttered looking out into the water.
She didn’t know why she stayed next to you, but she did. “You’re going on a quest next week, aren't you?” You asked softly, turning your gaze upwards to look at the side of her face.
She nodded, “Yeah, thank gods.”
“Why do you want to go out there so much?” you asked quietly, turning to look into the distance. “Why wouldn’t I? It makes my father proud,” she spoke, an annoyed expression written on her face.
“But does it?” This casued her to smack her thighs in annoyance as she looked at you “Excuse me?”
“I mean does he tell you it himself? Why put yourself in danger for a man who doesn't care about anything but the danger that comes with everything.”
Clarisse went silent, insults burning but sizzling out once they hit the tip of her tongue. You looked over at her, inhaling softly the lake scent before looking down at the necklace in your hand. “Here … take this for a safe trip,” you stuck your hand out nudging her arm slightly.
“I Don’t need a catholic saint to save me.” She muttered, which made you shrug your shoulders “Then add an Ares pendant to it as well, I know you got one, you carry it in your pocket.” you spoke softly, causing a confused look to spread on her face as she watched you stand up and leave the necklace on the dock.
Clarisse avoided you for the next week, the day before she left she put the necklace on, a sigh escaping her lips as she felt embarrassed. But in all honesty, she was nervous, and maybe she needed the extra luck.
As she traveled and fought, her hands would travel to the necklace and gently tug on the pendant in her spare time. When one of her cabin mates asked her about it she shoved them away feeling a slight burn in her face as she didn't want to explain her attachment to it.
She wanted to thank you, but she didn’t know how, and she didn’t want you to get the wrong idea, or at least she thought.
˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆
It was about a month later she returned.
You had no idea, too busy and engrossed with your own life to keep track of what was going on with her. You hoped she took the necklace with her, not wanting to feel embarrassed.
The day she returned everyone celebrated, another great victory for the great Clarisse. But you didn’t care, it wasn't like you were friends, you couldn’t just go up and hug her.
So instead you returned to the one place where you found peace, the dock. Gently swaying your feet and locking at the small ripples in the water as your reflection darkened with the setting sun.
“Can I keep this?” A voice asked as they sat down aggressively next to you. As you looked up you noticed that smiling face you grew desperate to see.
“No, you can not.” You responded, causing her to groan and look away. You nudged her shoulder gently, so gently she almost didn’t feel it like all the harsh ones she was used to.
“So you're back.”
She hummed softly, nodding her head “Indeed I am” You turned to look at the water “I prayed to Ares you know.”
“For me?” She playfully gasped, causing you to let out a chuckle “Yeah, I’m a pretty persuasive girl, so I asked if he would let you come home safely… thought it was worth a shot … I still need your help training and all so ~”
Clarisse stayed silent for a moment “I think it was this little man on your necklace that got me home.” You turned to look at her and giggled softly “St. Christopher?”
Clarisse hummed nodding her head, but after a moment she smiled and looked up at you “Hey is that the same Christopher tha-” you cut her off quickly “Nuh uh and never compare them.”
She lifted her hands in defense, smiling softly, this conversation felt different for some reason and you couldn’t grasp why.
Clarisse wasn’t even a friend, and she would never go for you if she was even into girls, I mean look at her and then you.
Clarisse took the necklace off and placed it back into the palm of your hand, to which you quickly transferred it to your neck, the warmth from her skin still on it.
“Suppose I should go to my party.” She spoke while standing from the dock leaving you behind.
She was halfway down the dock when you decided to get up as well, taking your time as you waited for her to disappear before following after her.
“Thought you would give me a better welcome home than just watching me leave.” She joked from a distance which made you laugh “Well, you don't seem like the hugging type” you pointed out. “Well … you aren't wrong, but maybe I’ll make an exception for you.”
“Maybe? I don't want to get over there and then be pushed into the water.” you giggled, but you couldn't help but move closer to her.
You walked faster until you were able to wrap her in your arms and duck your face into the crook of her neck.
Clarisse wrapped her arms around you and let out a small sigh. She had a feeling that she felt something good towards you. You were the first to recognize that not everyone is always brave on quests, even when they act like it, the bravery they show is fake half of the time.
She realized you cared for her without you even realizing it at all.
“You smell like the ocean” Clarisse mumbled which made you giggle, “like a sailor of something.”
“Well I did go canoeing earlier with my friend,” you responded quietly which caused Clarisse to snort.
In that short moment, you understand why your parent's lover always hugged them for so long upon their return, because they never knew if they would return.
“So you gonna kiss me or something?” Clarisse asked, “Are you always this blunt?” you spoke, a shy blush burning your face as you pulled back from her neck.
“Well, would you prefer me to be shy like you? If that's the case we might be pining for a long time” She pointed out which made you giggle before gently bringing your lips to hers.
She brought her hand up to the back of your head and pushed you further into the kiss. She pulled away for a moment taking in a deep breath “You taste like the water as well”
“Sorry, fell in while canoeing.”

SWEETHEART | Jeremiah Fisher
Summary: After your parents file for a divorce, you’re forced to move in with your mom’s friend until the divorce is finalized. You wished you could stay with your dad and your friends, but when you meet Jeremiah Fisher, that changes. And now you’re wanting to stay in the Cousins. Too bad things don’t last forever.
Word Count:
Part: 8
previous part series masterlist
Authors Note: I don’t know why but I can’t tag some people even though I’m spelling their users right. I’m sorry for that, I have no idea how to fix it. Anyway, thank you for all the love and support from the other parts! <3 I also apologize for grammar or spelling mistakes, I tried to proofread but I’m not sure if I got everything.
Tumblr media
You chug the rest of your beer, rolling your eyes at the obnoxious scene in front of you.
“Tell me more! Tell me more…” Jeremiah’s and Cam’s voice fades the more you walk away, turning the corner to find the nearest bathroom.
Noticing the long line that probably hasn’t moved in 10 minutes you make your way upstairs.
After your little pity party earlier, Conrad arrived. It was strange for him to be here since he’s been all “moody and quiet” as Belly would put it, but it made sense since Nicole was here.
“Hey, you see Jere anywhere?” He asks you, looking at you for split second before looking around the yard.
You cross your arms over your chest, “Probably in one of the rooms hooking up with someone.”
Conrad looks at you, an eyebrow raised in amusement. “That’s Jere. If you see him, can you tell him I’m staying the night here?”
You purse your lips, really wanting to be petty and say something along the lines of “oh he’s probably going to be staying the night at his one night stands place as well” but you decide against it.
“Sure.”
Conrad thanks you, entering the house.
Staring at the liquid inside of your red cup, you realize you shouldn’t be outside because you were avoiding Jeremiah and Taylor. You should go in there, make new friends and have fun.
You bounced your leg up and down, anxiously.
Screw it. You probably look like some weird loner out here. Even Conrad’s inside and he’s supposed to be the anti-social one.
And after many drinks and socializing with many people, you somehow ended up in the living room where karaoke was going on. Leaving almost immediately after Jeremiah and Cam started singing their hearts out.
You made no effort in trying to tell Jeremiah what Conrad said. You avoided him all night, the moment he walked in the same room, you walked out.
Placing your cup somewhere, which most likely will never be found, you make a beeline straight to the stairs.
You may have had a little too much to drink that night as it took all your strength to not eat shit on the stairs. Finally making it up there, you try every door only to be met by some random couple either in the midst of making out or ripping each others clothes off.
“Sorry.” You say loud enough for the third couple you walked in on to hear. You close the door, your eyes drifting to the last door at the end of the hallway.
Oh please be a couple free zone.
If not, you can just wait in line. Or find a bush outside.
You hold your breath as you peek your head in, grinning as there was no couple on the bed. Just a flower crown.
You walked in, slamming the door behind you and flinching hard when you heard the two gasps coming from beside you.
“Ew, what the hell you guys! You couldn’t have done that in the car?” You complain, throwing your flower crown next to Taylor’s that was on the bed.
Steven and Taylor were frozen in horror, staring at you with wide eyes.
You scrunch your face up in disgust, walking by them to get to the bathroom. “Wha—“
“Oh my god!” Belly shrieks, pointing at the two in disbelief.
Before Belly could even confront the two, Steven dashed out of there.
“Steven—“ Taylor starts, trying to grab his arm before he could leave but he already did.
“You’re hooking up with my brother?”
“I swear, It just happened!” Taylor excuses, shrugging as she look between you and Belly.
Belly makes a face, “Wha- What you got bored? He’s dating someone! You know, someone he actually likes.”
Taylor scoffs, pointing to herself. “You’re saying he couldn’t like someone like me?”
“No, no, that’s not what I’m saying—“
“Ohhh, shittt! Steven has a girlfriend!” You say out loud, finally putting two together.
Belly spins to look at you, her eyes narrowed. “What? Did you know? Jesus— how long have you guys been hooking up?”
“I just got here! Like a second before you, maybe half a second before you…” You say, starting to ramble before Belly cuts you off.
“This could get so messy, Steven, he’s taking her to the deb ball and all those girls are her friends!”
Taylor rolls her eyes, “Oh my god! I’m so sick of hearing about this fucking deb ball. I don’t even know who you are anymore.” Taylor looks her up and down, using her hands to elaborate.
“Why? Because I’m not just going along with everything you wanna do? Is that why you threw yourself at my brother? So, that… you can get back at me?”
“Y’know, you act so innocent Belly. Like you’re the victim.” Taylor hisses.
“Victim?” Belly repeats.
“I think you’re the self absorbed one, Belly. How do you not know I’ve had a crush on Steven for years. If you weren’t so obsessed with Conrad—“
“What is wrong with you? People are going to hear!”
“Who cares! There’s more than one story happening here but you seem to only care about the one where you’re the main character.”
There’s a pause before Belly excuses herself, rushing out of the room.
You stand there awkwardly, watching Taylor pace the room as she buries her face into her hands.
“Starting fights with everybody tonight, huh?” You sarcastically say, stopping when Taylor looks up to glare at you.
“Mind your own fucking business.” She snaps, snatching her flower crown off the bed before storming off.
You shrug to yourself, rushing to the bathroom.
-
“Okay but think about this… what if we are all dead but we just don’t know it? Like when we die, will we know when we are dead? Will it just be a void or what?” Your new friend slurs, explaining with his hands to prove a point.
You nod quickly, “That makes so much sense! I wonder if I’m dead.”
“I wonder if I am too.”
There was a pause before the two of you broke into fits of laughter, snorting and not giving a damn since pretty much everybody in this household was drunk.
“I wonder if vodka and apple juice taste good.” You ramble, putting your finger to your chin as if you were thinking.
Whatever his name is scoffs dramatically, shaking his head way too fast. He stops, looking like he was going to puke before going back to normal. “Y’know what’s good? The cherry mountain dew and vodka. That shit is chefs kiss. You ever see Gordon Ramsey?”
“Gordon Ramsey? Oh. my. gosh. Like JonBenét Ramsey?”
“No, that’s different. I’m talking about the old guy.”
You think for a moment, taking a sip of whatever you had in your cup before responding. “Oh the british guy.”
“I think he is! You know how to talk in a british accent?” He speaks in a accent, raising his eyebrows up and down.
You had no idea what his name was. But you bumped into him on accident and the two of you just started talking. Who would’ve known you guys would have a lot in common?
“Yes, hello sir.” You speak in a terrible accent that wasn’t even british, frowning as the guy broke into a laugh.
You flinch at the sudden weight around your shoulders, turning to look at the one and only, Jeremiah Fisher.
“Heyy look, it’s playboy!” You chirp, shrugging his arm off you.
Jeremiah ignores your comment, doing some dumb handshake with your new friend who now wasn’t your new friend because apparently he knew Jeremiah.
“Oh great.” You mumble, drinking the rest of your drink.
They make some small chat while you awkwardly stand there, swaying on your feet as you thought of ways to get out of there.
I’m gonna go use the bathroom!
I’m gonna go find a drink!
I’m out of here!
Adios!
“Oh right, I came over here to take this little fire cracker home.” Jeremiah announces, pinching one of your cheeks teasingly. You smack his hand away, glaring at him.
“Okay, I guess I’ll see you around then?” The guy asks, hopeful.
You smile, nodding. “Yeah.”
He scratches the back of his neck with his free hand, hesitating, “You, uh, you think I could get your number or something?”
Your eyes widen, your cheeks burning. Oh god, did he just ask you for your number? You heard that right? Right?
“Ye—“ You start, already searching your pockets for your phone before you get cut off.
“It’s actually been a crazy day, think we’re just gonna call it a night. Let’s go, Y/N.” Jeremiah states, staring at you expectantly.
You glare at him, sending an apologetic look to your new friend. “Whatever. See you around.” You managed to say before Jeremiah led you through the house and to his car.
Jeremiah opens the door to the backseat, impatiently waiting for you to get in.
You don’t. You just stand there.
“You couldn’t have waited till after I gave him my number? You’re such a cockblock.” You complain, looking back at the house.
Jeremiah rolls his eyes. “He’s a player anyways! You wouldn’t have been the only girl on his phone.”
You scoff, sarcastically smiling at him. “Says you!”
He groans, letting go of the door to rub the bridge of his nose. “Just get in the car, Y/N. I’m tired.”
“I’m tired.” You mock, begrudgingly getting into the car. You reach out to close the car door before Jeremiah could.
You look through the window and watch as he stood there for a moment, seemingly contemplating on something before walking back to the house.
You waited until you couldn’t see him anymore to kick the seat in front of you out of anger, which was barely a kick as your leg felt way too heavy to even move. Same thing with the rest of your body.
Stupid Jeremiah.
Always ruining everything. Ruined Belly’s dinner for you, ruined the party for you, what else is he going to ruin?
It’s funny how fast he changed from the moment you met him to now. When you first met him, it was like, it was too good to be true. He was practically a golden retriever just in human form. Everything about him was perfect, everything. His hair, his eyes, his lips, oh dammit, why didn’t you kiss those lips—
You stop, holding your breath in realization.
Did you have a crush on him?
Pfft, why would you, have a crush on Jeremiah Fisher?
But I mean, who wouldn’t?
No. Stop it.
The car door opens, making you jump.
Jeremiah tosses a napkin at you, “There. You happy?” He closes the door before you could even react.
You pick up the napkin, flipping it over to see the number written in pen ink. You feel guilty.
Both the driver and passenger doors open, causing your eyebrows to furrow. Isn’t Conrad staying the night? Didn’t Taylor leave with Cam and Belly?
“Taylor, you better not crash my car.” Jeremiah complains from the passenger seat.
God dammit.
“Relax, Jeremy. I’m actually a excellent driver. Plus, I’m not the one who chugged a beer in under a minute for what? 5 dollars?” Taylor giggles, starting the car. She moves her seat forward along with fixing the rearview mirror.
“Hey— it’s money. You would’ve done the same!” He says defensively.
You don’t bother with putting your seat belt on, too exhausted. Leaning your head against the door, you close your heavy eyes. Their argument fades into the background, your head pounding.
-
“THAT’S TOO CLOSE!” You jolt awake, scanning your surroundings before realizing you were still in the car. Jeremiah and Taylor still in the front seats, arguing.
You rub the side of your face that was against the car door, looking out the window to see that you guys were outside of the familiar beach house.
“Gosh, you’re so dramatic!” You hear Taylor say, putting the car in reverse before slamming on the breaks. The breaks sends you forward, not enough to hurt you but enough to fully wake you up.
“Excellent driver” my ass.
Jeremiah sarcastically groans, “I’m never letting you drive again.”
“Good! Your car smells anyway.” Was the last thing you heard before the two of them exited the vehicle, their argument being muffled.
You looked around the backseat, searching for your phone along with the napkin. You spot them on the floor, snatching the both of them and shoving the napkin in your pocket.
You squint your eyes as the light from your phone nearly blinded you, checking the time and missed messages from earlier.
Belly
Left early 11:25
Jeremiah said he would give you a ride 11:25
Perfect for some alone time if you know what I mean 😏 11:26
Oh yeah how should I ask Cam to the deb? Do you think he would want to go with me? 11:28
Smiling, you shake your head. You type out a quick response but before you could send it the car door opens, revealing Jeremiah.
He holds the door open, rubbing his eyes before motioning for you to come out. He holds out his hand. You take it, shoving your phone into your pocket.
Silently, he wraps his arm around your waist before closing the door. He helps you into the house, then up the stairs and to your bed room.
He finally let’s go, sitting you down on the bed.
Crouching down to your level, he scans your face. “Are you wearing makeup?”
You realize how close he is, your breath hitching. You looked into his eyes, those eyes, getting lost for a moment.
Swallowing the lump in your throat, you nod.
“Where’s your makeup remover?”
You point to the vanity. He gets up, unzipping your makeup bag before he stops. He holds up wipes, “This?”
“Yeah.” You muster out. Your heartbeat quickens as he comes back, stopping to crouch in front of you.
You reach your hand out to grab the wipes but he stops you, grabbing your chin with his other hand and softly pressing the wipe to your face to get rid of the makeup.
Your cheeks heat up at the gesture, feeling the cold wipe on your face as you dropped your hand. He takes his time, making sure to get everywhere.
He tosses the wipes in the trash can, going back to his crouching position to take off your shoes. You don’t stop him, your whole body felt like it was burning. You’ve never felt like this.
It felt like you were going to explode. Or puke. You didn’t know if it was because there were too many butterflies in your stomach and they needed a way out or just the alcohol you had tonight.
“Your hands looks better.” He mumbles, grabbing your hand to examine it. He flips it over a few times before letting it.
You stare at your hand the bruises looking more of a yellow-greenish color, “It’s pretty sore though.”
“I’m surprised it didn’t break.”
“What, after you guys ditched me?”
He’s quiet, frowning. “I came back for you.”
“Pfft, because you knew your mom would kill you if you didn’t.” You say, dropping your hand into your lap.
“I came back for you, not because of my mom.” He affirms, making eye contact with you so you could know he was telling the truth. You break it, your cheeks feeling hot.
There was silence for a moment but he breaks it, suggesting that you should lay down. You agree laying down as he shimmies the comforter out from underneath you. He tucks you in and fixes your pillows, making sure you were comfortable before he wishes you goodnight, leaving.
“Jere?”
He stops, turning back around to look down at you in concern.
“You okay? You need anything?”
You shake your head, staring at him. “No… I just…”
You felt so weird. So tingly. You were exploding with so many different emotions. You’ve had crushes before, silly crushes… but this was different.
You wanted to tell him. But, was it too late? What if Taylor was right? Would he really just hook up with you to leave you the next day?
“Thanks.” You finally settle on saying, facing away from him. You bury your face into the covers, mentally cursing at yourself but also just wanting to sleep.
He doesn’t respond.
And before you know it, he’s gone.

Ⳋ᧙ — SONGS THAT REM͟I͟N͟D͟ 𝕸E 𝔬𝔣 MY DR.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
nymphs finding the head of orpheus ✹ nicole dollanganger — it definitely feels like an introduction, that’s for sure. it reminds me of myself, and a betrayal i had never saw coming. sealed with a knife, a promise, a kiss.
“i used to think, you must be the water i drink.
holding me down in these waters, down beneath,
singing to the sound of my screaming.”
anthems for a seventeen year-old ✹ yuele — this song is really bittersweet to me, it reminds me of the girl that looks up to me like an older sister, and despite seeing my flaws, still do. i hope i never get too much for her, and i hope she always knows she has a place where she belongs, even if i’d never tell it to her face.
“used to be one of the rotten ones and i liked you for that.”
angel ✹ massive attack — it’s me and him. it’s the devotion and the worship that becomes almost unbearable, saving each other like it’ll kill us if we don’t. he SHOULD hate my guts but yk
“you are my angel, come from way above,
to bring me love.”
like him ✹ tyler the creator — SO. little backstory for this song and why it correlates specifically. my dr is based off of a book i’m writing here, and there’s a ton of parallels to diplomatic leaders and gods, the biggest parallels are in my own friend group, but it relates the MOST to my lover (i shall make a post on him laterrr 🤭)
“i’ve decided to anything that lives inside of you, i would never ever lie to you, yeah,
you ain’t ever gotta lie to me, i’m everything that i strive to be,
so, do i look like him?”
i hope you find your way home ✹ tyler the creator — there’s a lot of loyalty shifting, most of my friends have abandoned their home because they believed in the idea of freedom, and it’s never a good idea to bring up what life could be after the war.
“i hope you find your way home..”
fable ✹ gigi perez — since there’s a ton of gods and goddesses, there’s a lot of religious imagery, the main two gods are yin and yang inspired, and there’s christianity imagery with both. well, what happens when you’re striving for the throne with your enemy as your right-hand-man? (zhan is a TERRIBLE example of this song—besides myself—because he has deep internalized homophobia)
“i fear when i question, my skin starts to burn,
why does my skin start to burn?”
slow dance ✹ kehlani — me and my man actually have a slow dance at some point after he’s crowned emperor so there’s the obvious. . he can also create plants and flowers, which is what blossomed beneath the concrete floor in amidst of the dance, i was SO oblivious because i had no idea he grew those because he was happy to dance with me :,)
“i want you open like a flower in the sun,
and heaven knows what i like and baby, you’re the one.”
army dreamers ✹ kate bush — military academy that turns into a battlefield after a betrayal is unleashed, this song was GOING on here.
“what could he do? should’ve been a rockstar.
but he didn’t have the money for a guitar.”
echolalia ✹ yves tumor — him when me. AGAIN. but it’s just vibes honestly, i love the way he worships me.
can’t breathe ✹ 9th wonder — our communication was HORRIBLE. we were treading around each other too much oh my god 😓 (it’s my fault)
luther ✹ kendrick lamar — i’m so in love i’m sorry y’all. this post is TOOOO long already.

Totally not making fun of SBN3 scene for the rewrite:
[Scene: The group is hanging out, casually chatting. Jeffrey looks reflective.]
Jeffrey: "I'm really glad I went to therapy. You should try it sometime, Nicole."
Nicole: "I did try it! But the therapist was like, 'Maybe don’t be a heartless asshole.' Like, excuse me!? The only thing worse than that advice would be... human trafficking."
Jeffrey: winces "God, don’t remind me..."
Jecka: "Remind you of what?"
Jeffrey: "Oh! I never told you guys? Back before therapy, I was working on making Classroom of Zero Nine into a game instead of a manga."
Nicole: "Yeah, maybe then people would actually know about it, Jeffrey..."
Jeffrey: "Hey, that's not fair! But yeah... therapy convinced me to make the idea way better than what the game was actually gonna be."
Jecka: "Oh god, what was it gonna be like?"
Nicole: grabs phone "Don't be shy, keep going while I dial 911... for no reason."
Jeffrey: sighs "Alright, but it was horrible. Jason’s mom tries to flirt with Nicolas, Jessie was a total creep, and the endings? Don’t get me started..."
Nicole: "I said keep going, Jeffrey."
Jeffrey: "Well... in the first ending, Nicolas kills Jessie with Jason’s drugs. In the second, Arson gets hit by their car. Then there’s the one where Nicolas... ugh... shoves his feet in Jason’s mom’s face."
Jecka: "Oh my god."
Jeffrey: "Oh, it gets worse—Jason gets sold into human trafficking in one ending, and in the last one, he... well... commits suic—"
Ari: interrupting "WHAT!?"
Jecka: gags "I think I’m gonna be sick."
Nicole: deadpan "What the fuck, Jeffrey!?"
Jeffrey: sheepish "Yeah... I deserve that. I had a huge foot f*tish back in high school. Glad I grew out of it, and that game never saw the light of day."

School spirits s2e7 spoilers
Imma type my thoughts as I watch the episode
I already don’t like the thumbnail
I do love the dynamic of Mr Anderson being a trusted teacher for Maddie that she then felt betrayed by in death and the same for Mr Martin and Janet and them being who they possess. Cinema.
Oooo she chose the boat. CLAIRE TOLD DIEGO??????
Mr Martin is reminding me of Rhonda’s guidance counselor lil bit
“You owe me” bitch DAMN JANET
Tbh Wally and Maddie are adorable. He’s such a simp for her and I love it
MINNESOTA MENTION (that’s where I’m from)
“It’s pretty sad we couldn’t go to these places together” “what do you mean? We’re here now” that’s romance babey.
As a para in a high school I do not want to see students boink and I am uncomfortable
Oooo quinnnnn what did you findddddd. Is Quinn going to bring Rhonda into her scar?? Poor Quinn. I’m loving her addition
Das ass. I know I think Milo is hot but. Das ass. Do find it funny that the former disney actors are together in this show
I thought what Quinn found was a driver suicide note damn
They vilify Janet but. She’s also a tortured teen with trauma. In both life and death. Tbh I really like Janet as an interesting character.
Nicole is all over the place and. I don’t like her tbh. She is true delusional teenager. I feel like the rest of the alive kids have their own personalities but Nicole feels like an afterthought. Only used for plot advancement. To help Claire and Xavier join Simon/maddie. I want to know more about Nicole’s home life. She could be so interesting but the show is not delivering (in my opinion) for expanding her character
Did Mr Martin/anderson’s body die in the lake????Hes def not gone
God Maddie seeing Janet must be trippy. And Janet can see everyone? Love.
Janet started ittttttt. Idk if I believe her tho tbh. Shes too smart. Maybe I’m overthinking. “It was an accident” that feels like proof that she’s lying.
Rhonda died 5 years later. That explains why she wouldn’t have known much about Janet’s death much if they didn’t go to school together. I love getting to see Rhonda’s first moments. She’s so scared. It feels unnerving that it’s so bright but it’s also “realistic.”
Mr Martin you liar I hate you.
I don’t believe the school wouldn’t have gotten a remodel in the years regarding the hallways
I want to judge Mr Martin for lying but also. I lie to teenage students all the time. For fun but also for regulatory reasons. But for that long??? That my issue
The lack of communication with Claire is the cherry on top. It’s gonna cause issues. Oh Nicole is still there. Forgot about her
I know how the dead kids feel. Realizing they were Guinea pigs. Love that dawn was there for Janet. I hate how people underestimate dawn. She deserved so much better in her afterlife. Tbh she was the wisest, even if she wasn’t the most knowledgeable. Her mom explains her healed scar.
Janet as Maddie sound exactly like Janet and that shows to me they Peyton list is a phenomenal actor
Tbh I want the alive kids to FUCK UP Mr Martin and teach him a point. I also want to know more about Mr Anderson as a ghost
Yuri is so right. “It sounds like Mr Martin was using it on her as much as he was using it on you.” And Janet’s expression? Cinema.
Love the dichotomy of the dead kids crew sitting across from mr Martin and Janet. Very smart filming choice. Which Rhonda on the couch to still put her at the same level as the other 2 but still grouping her with her boys.
Janet’s lil dance <3
I can’t help but draw parallels between Janet and Rhonda.
I do not like Mr Martin. And I know that’s the point. But he just is so manipulative
Ooo Simon is drawing parallels. Quinn????
Rhonda and Quinn will heal each other. Love the parallels they put in this. Or maybe I’m just drunk and drawing conclusions that aren’t there. Love Rhonda and Quinn’s relationship. Idk if it’s gay or not but it’s definitely not just friends.
Ooo Simon is jealous of the dead kids. Yes maybe it is cause of Wally but also. Maddie is STRUGGLING. The interview was Simon’s own damn fault. Tho good for Simon for calling. That’s so grown up of him.
WHAT??? Mr Martin stealing keys in every sense
Love Yuri comforting Wally. Also loving that Wally is back in the sweats and shorts.
DA MARKS WERE scar experiments. The janitor. Do not like Mr martins response to that.
I do love Janet as a character even if I don’t like her as a person. The only way out is through. Everyone has a chance at crossing over.
Wait what???
Their scars are different. Yuri is so smart. But low key he’s the Nicole of the dead kids. Only exist as a plot device.
Mr Martin is gonna show up and the school and I bet that’s how the ep is gonna end.
Maddie existed while alive but she lived while dead

Hold Me Like Water
Chapter Seven: Fragile
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: 2020 whump aka the virus, emotional talks, relationship in decline
Word Count: 2.2k
Hold Me Like Water Masterlist
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
August 2020,
Quarantine was in full force. Thankfully, Maya was locked down with her family up in Canada. They knew to give her space but also when to give her things to do. However, she has been able to get some work done. Mostly voice roles. She’d lock herself in her room and record voice lines on her phone.
Other than that, it’s felt a little like her childhood again. Lots and lots of throwing snowballs at Sakari. They could go outside, their neighbors were half a mile away so they were a safe distance away. Maya’s father, Nick, has been teaching her to carve wood and antler so she’s been keeping herself busy with practicing that too.
The bad thing about being cooped up for so long is that she couldn’t see Hugh. Not in person. They would video call every so often. About once a week to check in with each other. Arlo would call too, with updates about films she was supposed to be filming for and to ask how she was doing. It was nice to know her agent cared about her well-being on top of her career. Though, Arlo was her friend first before they became her agent.
“So when are we going to meet Hugh?” Nick asked while cooking down some berries for a jam, stirring lightly.
Maya was helping her mother and Sakari put a previous batch of jam in jars. They were going to deliver them later to their neighbors. “I don’t know. He wants to visit but, obviously, he can’t right now.” She shrugged, screwing a lid closed as tightly as possible.
“Still can’t believe he worked with Baz Luhrmann. Australia was horrible.” Maya’s mother, Bea, sighed as she shook her head.
Since Maya had the time, she was going through Hugh’s filmography because she realized she hadn’t seen that much of his work beside the X-Men films and a handful of others. Seeing as she was staying with her parents, she invited them to watch his movies with her. Some were better than others.
They all had a lot of thoughts about the bad ones in particular. It had nothing to do with Hugh ever, his performance was always good no matter what. Knowing him, though, Maya would never repeat any of these things to his face. He didn’t like reading reviews, even if they were good ones.
Sakari piped up, “I can. They’re both Australian. Aussies love working with Aussies as I’m sure Maya would love working with an Inuit,” She poured jam in a jar while Maya nodded. “What I can’t get over is Nicole Kidman’s performance. So over the top.”
“Because it’s a Baz Luhrmann movie.” Maya added. She glanced back at where her father was on the stove.
“Still! She just—” Sakari recreated a few of her exaggerated huffs and moans. She wasn’t looking and nearly dropped one of the jars. Maya caught it so it didn’t shatter on the floor. “Oops, sorry.” She laughed.
Maya nudged Sakari's shoulder with hers and laughed softly. “Be a bit more careful, hm?” She winked. She looked over Nick's shoulder to check how the berries were doing.
After all the jars were filled and capped, they each delivered a few to their neighbors. They saved a few for themselves as well. Maya set two jars on a porch, they clinked together slightly as she put them down. She knocked on the door and then pressed on the doorbell before she left to do the same thing to the next neighbor. She had a bag full of jars as did Bea and Sakari.
When she finally came back home, her father had started a fire. She went up to him and kissed his cheek in thanks as she removed her beanie. She sat in front of the fireplace on the rug and warmed her hands.
“Is it just me or is it colder?” Sakari let out a puff of air when she walked through the door.
Bea rolled her eyes as she prepared some hot tea. “You're just used to New York winters now.”
“Oh, god, I'm turning white.” Sakari said in a fake-scared tone. “Next thing you know, my favorite food is gonna be poutine!” Maya laughed, shaking her head at her sister's antics.
After they all warmed up again, Maya went to her room and shed her jacket. She sipped on her tea, checking the time in Australia. It would be morning down there. She pursed her lips as she sat at her desk. Maybe it was too early in the morning for her to call Hugh? He was probably just waking up. She always had this debate in her head.
She set her phone down on the surface in front of her and then separated her hair to braid it. Even if it was her own hands, getting her hair braided always made her relax. Once she put her hair into two braids, she pushed them so they fell against her shoulders and took another sip of her tea.
She always called him anyway. If he didn't answer, he would always call back when he could. She just didn't want to bother him. Especially now with everything happening… Maybe he wanted to spend more time with his family and this was the only way he could do it. Maybe he wanted some peace and quiet away from the job. Maybe he wanted the world to stop caring about him for a while. Maya wasn't sure. These were strange times.
She set up her phone against some books as she pressed the call button. She brought her knees up to her chest, feet planted in the chair.
Hugh answered after a few rings, a light, tired smile on his face. He was in the office. It was the only private place in his house, away from his kids and Deb. “G’morning, or, uh, afternoon.” He chuckled. “I almost didn't think you were gonna call today.”
“Well, since we've been home, my dad has been putting us to work,” Maya shrugged, taking another sip of her tea. “Today we delivered homemade jam around the village.”
Hugh sighed wistfully. “That sounds delicious.” He grabbed a mug, taking a sip from it. Presumably coffee.
“You have anything planned today?” Maya asked. She set her mug down and hugged one of her legs to her chest.
“I want to read one of the books you recommended me. The poetry book by Natalie Diaz,” Hugh ran a hand through his hair, “But, I don’t know—Deb always does something. She hates doing nothing. And, well, I like doing nothing.” He chuckled dryly.
Maya frowned slightly, pursing her lips. Hugh thought he was boring because he always compared himself to Deb and the fact that she could ‘have fun in a paper bag’ as he’d say. “You just have lower energy when you’re in private and she has higher energy. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.” She reasoned gently.
“Yeah but it was fun at the beginning of all this, now it’s just a bit too tiring.” Hugh ran a hand up his face, letting out a breath.
Maya had never seen Hugh so—sad wasn’t the right word. Upset? Tired? No, he was exhausted. “Look, this won’t last forever. It’s just because you’re trapped together. You’ve never experienced anything like this before, most people haven’t. It’ll get better once this all goes away. You just have to wait it out.” She sympathized with him.
Although Hugh loved Deb deeply and tried to bring her nearly everywhere he went, he was as free as a bird. He’d fly from place to place and be totally fine with performing the next day. Under quarantine laws, he was caged and he hated it. He had nothing to keep himself busy. Nothing quite satisfied him like acting.
Seeing him more vulnerable was a sight, though. To Maya, even when he talked about his feelings or heavier topics, he seemed so put together and like he knew what he wanted to say and the exact way he was going to say it. Now, he stumbled over his words.
She was glad he trusted her with this—his grievances, his worries, his hopes, what was in his brain and what was in his heart. She wasn’t sure if he relayed all this to Ryan but it still made her feel like she was important in Hugh’s life.
“I hope you’re right.” He murmured, glancing down at something off-screen before he focused on Maya again. A soft, genuine smile appeared on his lips when he looked at her. “You do anything else today?”
Maya ran her hand up and down her shin absentmindedly, thinking for a few seconds. “Well, this morning we gathered berries for the jam. It hasn’t snowed here yet so it wasn’t too bad getting enough for the village.” She hummed.
Nunavut wasn’t as populated as the southern provinces so they could go places without running into people. Her family always brought masks just in case. They were always careful.
“Damn, I wish I could do something like that here.” Hugh laughed softly.
“I’m lucky my village doesn’t fucking care how famous I am. I can’t imagine the amount of pictures that would be taken if you went berry picking down under.” Maya laughed along with him.
The paps loved Hugh, especially in his home country. They never left him alone. Maya wondered if they secretly put a tracker on him and he just didn’t know. She wouldn’t put it past them. The amount of beach pictures he’s had taken of him… She wondered how they never got tired of it. Hugh was never doing anything scandalous in public unlike some other celebrities.
He shook his head, “I try not to even focus on that stuff anymore. Pictures are going to be taken of me no matter where I go.” Hugh scratched against his neck.
“I guess, yeah.” Maya pursed her lips into a thin line.
Even after six years, she was not used to it nearly as much as he was. To be fair, he’d been in the spotlight for a little over twenty years. He had more time to accept a lack of privacy.
“No new pictures because of quarantine, though.” Maya joked softly. “A win is a win.”
Hugh chuckled. “I suppose so. However will the gossip magazines survive?”
“Who knows and who cares?” Maya hummed, rolling her eyes.
Maybe her sister was rubbing off on her a little bit. Although they lived together back in New York, Sakari was always out of the apartment doing something. Maya didn’t always ask. So now that they were forced to be inside, she might’ve been picking up a few things from Sakari’s personality.
Maya and Hugh talked until the sun went down. She filled him in on the week she had since they last called and he did the same, though he was much more interested in hearing her talk about herself.
“You really do have a beautiful voice.” Hugh hummed as he pressed his face against his hand. His coffee had gone cold. Her tea did too.
Maya flushed slightly at the compliment. “Well, I—Thanks.”
“Oscar was playing whatever game you’re in—”
“God of War?”
“Yes! I was listening to the game and you really do have the voice of a goddess. It has an ethereal quality to it. It’s so soothing yet you can make it cut like a knife.” Hugh scratched at his eyebrow as he leaned back into his chair. “I don’t know how you do it.”
Maya shrugged, “Blame the voice coach.”
“I wish you would take credit for something for once.” Hugh pushed softly.
“I wish you would too.” Maya pushed back, “You really hate taking compliments.”
Hugh chuckled nervously, knowing he was caught. Compliments always made him shy as well. Much like her, he believed filmmaking was a group effort. Even if he gave a stellar performance, it was on the cinematographer to frame it correctly, on the editor to make sure they could hear his dialogue, all these little things that came together which could make him stand out.
Maya looked out the window, realizing it was dark. “Anyway, I think I’ve talked your ear off for today.”
“You know I always have time for you, darling.” Hugh said sincerely.
“Mm, maybe but it’s night now.” Maya chuckled. “And I’d like to get some sleep.”
Hugh breathed then nodded. “That’s a good excuse.” Sometimes he forgot they were sixteen hours away. He blew a kiss to the camera. “Goodnight. Love you.”
“Love you too.” Maya waved before she ended the call.
She ran a hand up her face, rubbing at her eyes. Without Hugh in front of her, she could feel the tiredness seep into her all the sudden. She changed for bed and got under the covers.
She really hoped everything would work out for Hugh. He seemed so terminally exhausted that it made her heart ache…

And then, oh lord— don’t get me started on the imitation debacle the modern world would make for her as they do with Marilyn, along with trash biopics etc 🙈
Oh god Bucky would be played in movies by actors like Jared Leto, Ben Affleck, James Marsden, etc some of these talented actors but also none of them ever manage to capture his charm, valor, or heart until Callum Turner comes along.
What actresses would have tried their hands in a Julie Jean biopic? But it’d be impossible for them to grasp the love she had for her man and combine it with their shared lust without making it seem like cheap porn. Some things can’t be recreated.
JARED LETTO…the wail the escaped my mouth. Ben Affleck totally would and probs gets a golden globe for it or something and it’s THAT movie of the 90’s-early 2000’s like Pearl Harbor or Titanic. I’d actually not be mad if Kate Winslet got offered the role even though you know those shitty directors would make a point of saying they’re choosing her for being chubby. 😏 and she isn’t quite bubbly enough to capture Julie’s essence. It’s a good try tho. Michelle Williams probs too, she comes off too airy in hers tho.
Feel like Anna Nicole Smith and Pam Anderson both turn some project down but probs do raunchy photoshoots mimicking her -they are actually rather cool and the guys complain they’re not more undressed and it’s back to being gross.
But Callum Turner being THE MAN for it makes my heart burst, like finally he came along 🥰🤧

I feel like I'm losing hope In my body and my soul And the sky, it looks so ominous And as time comes to a halt Silence starts to overflow My cries are inconspicuous After all the laughter fades Signs of life all washed away I can still, still feel a gentle breeze No matter how hard I pray Signs of warning still remain And life has become my enemy Tell me, God- Are you punishing me...? Is this the price I'm paying for my past mistakes? This is my redemption song I need you more than ever right now Can you hear me now? Still, we're gonna shout it loud Even if our words seem meaningless It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world I hope that someway, somehow That I could save every one of us But the truth is that I'm only one girl Maybe if I keep believing, my dreams will come to life Weight of the World (feat. J'Nique Nicole) by Keiichi Okabe
My discomfort is working overtime The emptiness is lonely A refutation that comes dispassionately After I’ve hung my head Its an all-or-nothing surrender A well-behaved meeting and parting, selfishly Cajoling a negative out of a positive
If this shallow love is what you call 'love' Unfortunately, like a fool I realized I’d been acting out of self-preservation Only after saying “I don’t even want to talk to you” If you affirm your shallowness Then where’s my ground to stand on? An annoying glass and foundation Hang your tongue out, just like a dog
On the scales of self-proclamation, my head was lighter The military cup was raised and offered I can only think to the extent That it’s been transferred to the decanter When arranging my pieces, I placed my stupidity like a guardrail
If this shallow love is what you call 'love' Unfortunately, like a fool I said “It’s not like I want to let you go” Though it also wasn’t like I also hadn’t noticed My shallow self’s raison d’etre Is the sacrifice of a perfect narrow path If you’d drunk brandy off my skin I would get flustered and be laughed at If this shallow love is what you call 'love' Unfortunately, like a heel I’d kiss you goodbye a thousand times See through my wickedness, just like a dog Just like a dog...

Oh, I'd take the fall I got you covered when there's no one at all Oh, yeah- And I'd stay through the night When you've got demons trying to break through the walls There ain't no, no kind of line That I wouldn't cross if you need me to You're out here searchin' for signs So I think it's finally time that you knew When you've gone dark and the night's gets so cold I'll be on my way to you You know I ain't tryna lose you- Oh, no If you're in Hell, I'll go there too! There ain't no, no kind of line That I wouldn't cross if you need me to You're out here searchin' for signs So I think it's finally time that you knew Nobody got you the way I do Whatever demons you're fightin' through When you need somebody to turn to Nobody got you the way I do The way I do- Nobody, nobody, nobody Got you the way I do
Nobody by One Republic [INSTRUMENTAL] You Were Here by Kensuke Ushio
Santa Maria, please hit me with a blow of revitalization I don't want melancholy, I want to go out exhilaratingly and loudly But that answer could only be found on the other side of soliloquy Inside of the underground
Being the victor of the contest amongst the frogs in a well Irresolution dripped down Being absorbed in SNS, my self esteem had dissipated long ago
Those who sing praises of love, yet have never been loved before Everytime in exeunt, retiring from a career and living life out in peace I'm not particularly dissatisfied But it is different from the dream I imagined For some reason it felt like there was a hole in my heart Now it's do or die to say the words I've wanted to say Come to think of it- Outsiders loudly form discussion without a trace of love That, "Only the results matter", is unforgivable We get only one chance, so let me keep living inside of this world
There is still no surety inside of me In reality, there aren't many things left over Tigers and wolves have tamed this everyday life of mine No, they have eaten it...
So, I'll put a period on this ordinary life of mine now It feels like these feelings are about to burst open I was unable to suppress these urges These unfulfilled wishes of mine are still far from becoming reality Hey, I still haven't kicked the bucket yet Memories of crying while swearing to God Anxiety for that unstable future hurts
Hear the sound of my noisy heart So I don't perish in the gap between dreams So my feet never stop moving When the tigers and wolves come, the lost child stays home
