I just binged Hazbin Hotel in one day, again, while waiting for the next Helluva Boss episode to come when I realised something fun:

Vivz’ Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are kind of giving the same vibes as Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

HH and SB both have this world changing do-good story! Whereas HB and SC both are mostly criminals just fucking around and earning money!

And theyre all beloved by morally grey queers <3

the entire time i was reading the six of crows duology (and even after sometimes) it takes a genuinely conscious effort to move away from the mental image of alastor from hazbin and conjure up the mental image i have of kaz
