Amity was... Odd

It always was even before the Fenton Portal, just more subtle, cold spots, newer electronics not working properly, older picking up things that weren't always there, things at the periphery that you can't see when you turn, shadows too dark, lights too dim.

Lake Eerie was named that for a reason. they knew to never swim alone, or at night without lights.

Then the portal happened and those who didn't adapt left. then the invasion and they thought they are going to just go back to new normal and...

The town refused to leave. Not the people the town itself, turned out Amity had a city spirit and she liked it in the Zone so they adapted, 'parkers always adapted if they didn't they left, this side of the veil or the other.

They managed to coax Amity to return and continued living, a little to the left, teeth a little too sharp, eyes a little too intense, hearing a little too good, but they adapted. They found out more ghost culture in the zone, some learned to fight, some decided not to. They weren't bothered by property damage anymore, the buildings would pull themselves back together and they would help.

Amity was always Odd it just wasn't subtle anymore.

sexy himbo jock interpretations of James Tiberius Kirk are silly and do a disservice to the character for a lot of reasons, not least of which is that it fundamentally ignores all the times in canon when Kirk is faced with a scientific discovery or oddity and you can see the effort it takes for him not to clap and skip with excitement. like in ‘the devil in the dark’ when Spock posits that they might be dealing with a silicon based life form and McCoy’s like “but that’s impossible!” and Kirk literally crosses the room to flirt talk excitedly with Spock about the prospect and how it could work! and what it would mean!

Eddie has to blink a few times to confirm that, yes, it is Steve Harrington standing outside his apartment building, it’s Steve Harrington’s hands holding his face, it’s Steve Harrington’s gaze bleeding concern behind his glasses.

“Those dickheads— I hit ‘em with— Oh fuck, my cane,” Eddie’s out of breath, looking around frantically but he must’ve dropped it when he took off.

“Where? In the alley?” Steve asks, squeezing Eddie’s shoulders when he nods, “Wait here.”

Eddie nods again, wildly, watching as Steve disappears behind the building. It doesn’t take long, enough for Eddie to catch his breath and somewhat recenter himself. Relieved, he watches Steve jog back around, cane in hand. Shit’s expensive, insurance only covers one, he couldn’t afford to lose it.

“They’re gone. You must’ve scared them off, champ.” Smiling to try and put Eddie at ease, Steve gives the cane a spin before handing it back to him. Eddie rebalances himself, but he still feels rattled.

“Don’t give me any reigning titles yet, man, all I did was high tail my ass out of there.”

“You whacked them pretty good with this thing first, even left a dent. You okay? Looks like they got you right here,” Steve’s touching him again, Eddie’s overly aware this time, the warmth of a hand on his cheek. The instinct to seek comfort takes over, he almost leans into it, but he flinches away instead, hissing when Steve’s thumb brushes a tender spot.

Valkyr Prime No Forma Queen Steel Path Circuit Armor Strip Deluxe Build AKA Can We Get Much Higher

There's room for improvement (like adding forma and maxxing out the other arcane), but I don't feel like it right now.

Here's the Valkyr Prime mods & arcanes setup. Use Terrify (Nekros helminth) over ability 3 for armor strip ability. Use these archon shards to get the 100% armor strip too and good energy economy. Feel free to ask about any of these mod or build choices, this build is from like 2 years ago that one of my partners helped me set up and still going strong. Delusion helmet and Gersemi skin for appearance.

Prime Talons mod setup. Blast damage is the current meta as of December 2024 so you can see the original before Damage whatever number update point 0 we're at now compared to the original build.

Equip Naramon, it's extremely important for power scaling and end-game level damage.

Fully ranked up Power Spike is the only focus school stuff you need, but having the waybounds unbound is always good for operator/drifter survival, combat, and movement.

Manage your energy economy by getting parazon finisher kills on eximus units if you start running low, just edge the health bars until you see the prompt and your energy will shoot up to almost max if not max. More than half the time arcane energize should kick in and give you a boost on top of the archon shard energy boost (not sure if the effects of the shards and energize multiply/stack or not as I'm not a build math gal but it feels like it does).

Here you go @issilya and anyone else wanting a no forma Valkyr Prime that scales well into higher levels.

lance as the blue paladin (former or current, doesnt matter) being a black widow. lance swallowing/killing his pride and letting himself be seen as nothing more than a flirt, an airhead, a blonde bimbo. lance being the teams secret weapon during meetings with planets to get them to join the coalition. lance sniffing out the right guard or advisor or royal that knows everything, getting them wasted and flirting for hours to get them to spill all the dirty secrets. lance being able to alert the team ahead of time if a planet is truly interested in joining the coalition or if they have an agreement with the empire and they lured voltron there as a trap.

lance swallowing/killing his pride and letting himself be seen as weak and stupid. lance playing up the airhead persona so their enemies don’t view him as a threat, them taking out the rest of the team first in their order of who would pose more of a threat to them and them always leaving lance for last bc they underestimate him. lance annihilating their enemies bc he actually is smart and strong and capable.
