my copy of brothership arrived yesterday and now i can safely say this
#“what about partners in time” PARTNERS IN TIME IS GOOD OKAY#it's INNOVATIVE! it's FLAWED but it's INNOVATIVE and FUN.#obviously superstar saga & bowser's inside story are great and dream team is pretty good too#and brothership is really good#paper jam is just mediogre though it's like 3ds era paper mario brought his stank with him#and mario & luigi had to balance it out with a secret anti-stank that only worked a little and made the game comparatively mid#it's still got good gameplay & character writing (except peach... i hate that one meta-deprecation line it SUCKS) but... ehhh.#anyways. woe nocturne's m&l opinions be upon ye#certified nocturneposting#mario & luigi#m&l rpgs

Mario fans need to come into conclusion that Starlow isn’t really a bad fucker who constantly teases Luigi as if he’s some sort of trash background character with no purpose.
NO.
Have you guys even PLAYED Dream Team? Or even better!
I’m going over with Paper Jam and all, and she even ENCOURAGES Luigi that he’s got a damn whole year named after him and that he CAN save Mario.
Even if it’s for motivation, Starlow learns too from her mistakes.
I don’t care if she’s fictional. I don’t care if she’s pixels.
Do you all know what character development is??? 😭
#I really needed to get this off my chest because DAMN#that brothership reaction of ‘OH NO SHES BACK SHES GONNA BULLY LUIGI AAAAHHHH’#shut up can you just shut up???#I grew up with Starlow ever since BIS and from that moment and on… I never hated her#not even once#and the constant teases are just… teases#Mario notices Starlow’s teasing and he KNOWS how it affects Luigi#but she doesn’t make it worse#she APOLOGIZES to Luigi as well!#goodness let her breathe lmao#starlow#cheese p talks#mario and luigi#(past reblogs of Starlow were me in a strange frenzy lol…)

It think it's so funny how much I hype up Superstar Saga like objectively she isn't even the best game in the series I just think she's really neat
#it introduces a lot of cool and unique ideas and mechanics!#and like yeah! she spawned 5 sequels she's really good#what i like about superstar saga is that it's different and it commits to it#the entire game is a subversive of expectations left and right while still holding onto what makes a mario game a matio gamr at it's core#it isn't afraid to do something different with these characters and explore them on a level even slightly deeper than surface level#and it ties back into other games well too! e.gadd is in it!#anyways objectively BiS is the best game in the series if you want my humble opinion#i like how it carries over a lot of ideas from Superstar Saga and os straight up a Superstar Saga sequel#i like that it goes back to the mechanics PiT abandoned and polished them up a bit#BiS is kind of like a more polished Superstar Saga to me while still being it's own thing#anyways Superstar Saga good play it i'm really excited for Brothership#(also not to be too hopeful but it really feels like Brothership is doing a LOT of things that i enjoyed from the first three games)

and all of this is part of a completely separate rant about how kids games dont do things like this anymore because i guess its like. a waste of time or something. but the reason this game was so magical to me when its way more obscure than other mario titles is because it was legitimately something so special. all of its one-off mini-games and unique animations made it so delightful and i can only hope that brothership brings back that same energy
#mileposting#and if it doesnt then. i mean. i get it. optimization is prioritized over unique elements#thats usually how it is now. and for a good reason… developers wellbeings should definitely come first#but i wont lie i really hope theres at least the same energy in brothership

i didnt realise how much i'd miss starlow til she was gone
#honestly my only problem with the game so far that isn't a nitpick is the characterisation of the npcs#it's not got the charm that the alphadream games had#snoutlet's doing nothing for me. connie and arc are not gonna stick in my brain i can already tell you that much#for all the shit i gave starlow for being unnecessarily mean to luigi. she was a fun character. i enjoyed having her around and her#interactions with bowser in bis were wonderful#and the general npcs were good. i enjoyed getting dialogue from em.#and i LOVED the side characters. peasley. queen bean. kylie koopa. dreambert. all solid supporting characters#so far i've just. not really felt like i'm gonna connect with any of these characters#willma and maykit are the best ones out of the bunch i do like them#but nowhere near on the same level as the characters in past m&l games#btw i'm still REALLY enjoying the game. everything else about it thus far has been really fun.#it's just a shame this new company couldn't deliver on that. it was one of my favourite elements of past m&l games#brothership spoilers

Brothership: nods and references to previous M&L games ❤️💚
While I watched the new Brothership trailer yesterday, I noticed a few elements from the previous M&L games that were included in the new one, and since I love them dearly, you best believe that I SCREAMED with every new reference that I noticed 🤩
So I decided to put them together in this post, though I'm probably missing some of them since it's been a LONG time since I last played them, so you're all more than welcome to add the ones you noticed if you don't see them in this post.
Let's start with Superstar Saga! In this game, there are a few times when Luigi must get inside a barrel in order to progress with the story, like for instance, in Chucklehuck Woods or Woohoo Hooniversity.
And then in Brothership!!!!!
Luigi does it AGAIN OMG the way I YELLED 🤩🤩👏👏
Then we move on to Partners in Time and find the special move that turns the brothers into a ball:
And in Brothership... it's back!!!!!
Luigi crying while he hugs Mario, this one is pretty obvious: it made me think immediately of Bowser's Inside Story:
He's so cute I wanna hug him too 🥺💚
Moving on to Dream Team, I really don't know why, but these Idle guys who made Luigi fall asleep remind me A LOT of these four guys you have to fight in Dreamy Wakeport (Heavy Zest, Sorrow Fist, Thunder Sass and Beef Cloud) in order to wake up Big Massif:
This might be just me, but I do believe they took some inspiration when creating them. And btw, the city where we see Luigi having a drink and relaxing and that we've seen in previous trailers? It reminds me SO MUCH of Wakeport:
Am I the only one who sees the similarities? 😅
And finally, last but not least...
THE FREAKING BOMB DERBY FROM DREAM TEAM IS BACK 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I swear, the SQUEAL I let out when I saw this in the new Brothership trailer must have been heard on the other side of the world. This was my freaking FAVORITE Bros. Attack from Dream Team, I was SO GOOD when using it (not without a few times of the bombs exploding in poor Luigi's face before I got the hang of it 😂).
Seriously, oh my God, I freaking LOVE this attack. I'm over the damn moon to know that I'll get the chance to play it again in Brothership 🥲 This game hasn't come out yet and it's already made me SO HAPPY. Thank you SO MUCH for this, Nintendo. This game is a freaking dream come true 😭❤️💚
Before I go, I didn't double-check the enemies, but I know there are a few that also come from these previous games! Feel free to add them if you'd like, as well as anything else I might have missed 🥰
And also... SPOILER under the cut!!
This one, I saw it in this video which features TONS of footage from the game, and decided to add it down here just in case because it's a very touching thing and I'd totally understand some people wanting to be surprised when playing 🥹
So if you check it, I warned you! And if you don't, hope you enjoyed this post and let's share the hype for this game coming in less than a month!!! 🤩🤩👏👏
So the spoiler is...
When one of the bros faints, the other does the EXACT same thing as in Superstar Saga 🥹🥹🥹
I'm so freaking MOVED this is so damn TENDER and I'm beyond ELATED that they brought it back in Brothership 😭😭😭 The brothers ever!!!! ❤️💚
EDIT: My dear friend @megamagimugi wisely pointed out that they also do this in the other games, only that differently: carrying each other in their backs or in the case of Partners in Time, the babies carried away their fallen adult selves. Can't remember a thing about Paper Jam though.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership🫂
This is one of my favorite parts from the Nintendo Direct.
I have to be honest, I don't feel too good about this art...
I didn't know what to do for the background and the shading felt kind of off.
What do you think?
I would really appreciate feedback.

Qiu Qingzhi and Li Bing back in the days : You look at me who loves looking at you.
ISTG the way Li Bing looked at Qiu Qingzhi who was looking at him was more like a shy junior who looked at his senior he had a crush on. A part of him secretly hoped that Qiu Qingzhi wouldn't know his feelings towards him, yet another part of him also hoped that his secret crush would share the same feelings as him and then would make the first move on him. He plastered a shy smile as if he tried to pretend that he didn't have any butterflies flying in his stomach.
The drama wasn't about bromance, but really they just skipped the B and jumped into romance. LOL. Qiu Qingzhi x Li Bing boldly crossed the line of mere brothership. There's no way in Hell you would treat your brother as an adult like that. Not a million times.
Note : They didn't cut the scene where Wang Qi jumped on Cui Bei's back, but they cut the cute scene where Qiu Qingzhi called Li Bing to come over and Li Bing ran to him happily. He jumped on Qiu Qingzhi's back. Qiu Qingzhi was more than happy to give him a piggyback ride for free. He carried him like the most precious thing he wished he could have.
Qiu Qingzhi and Li Bing now : I'm just a little too not over you. Just a little! You hear me? But how are you so fine without me? I've been crying for you since the day you went away! Am I that unimportant? Am I so insignificant to you? Fine! I'm going to show to the whole world that I'm also fine without you!
But of course, who could stop our Vice Minister Li from the Court of Judicial Review to act cute towards General Qiu from Jinwu Guard? Li Bing could do whatever he wished since it's Qiu Qingzhi. 撒娇 full mode was activated!
I'd never be a fan of hetero romance drama. I admit that I even always tried to avoid it like a plague because I had a great issue with the FL's half baked 撒娇 (acted like a spoiled child or coquettishly). It never failed to annoy me to the moon and back to the point that killed my mood and gave me a headache. It's the main reason why such a talented actor like Ding Yuxi managed to escape from my radar (my BL-dar, LOL).
White Cat Legend was his first drama that I watched. To be honest, at first, I didn't expect him to be that good, but just a pretty face to help selling the drama. I heard that antis said that his face was just too ordinary. Excuse you, but I had to disagree! I really had no idea which beauty standard that they used to judge Ding Yuxi's exquisite appearance. This guy surely had a pretty face and a pair of equally beautiful expressive doe eyes. His laughs were so addictive. He has fair skin and a pair of cute elf ears that made his face look smaller and innocent.
He's indeed one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen, but his acting skill was on par with his pretty face. He was so detailed in micro expression, voice, quirks, and body language. He used his real voice! I was so glad for that since I could tell his changing mood faster based on his voice. In White Cat Legend, I wonder if he merely relied on what's written on the script or more on his personal interpretation to portray Li Bing. Most of the time when Li Bing gazed at Qiu Qingzhi, it wasn't for a bestie, but a lover. It was understandable if it was a BL or B-romance drama, but it wasn't. I jumped on the QiuBing ship and then sailed, sailed, sailed, to the BL sea.
When they met again after the 3 years of separation & a bitter 'breakup', Li Bing looked at General Qiu with glassy eyes as he was so ready to burst into tears at any moment. His voice tinted with emotional; anger, sorrow, desperation, and unbearable longing. But sometimes his voice became more childish just like when he was younger. He did it only to Qiu Qingzhi, especially when he felt like testing Qiu Qingzhi's patience in every chance that he got. I wonder how Qiu Qingzhi could suppress the urge not to jump on that naughty cat and attack him. By 'attack', I meant wringing Li Bing's delicate neck, not that typical +18 'attack' deflowering him in bed.
Gotta admit that Ding Yuxi's 撒娇 skill is really a top-notch 撒娇! He's not exaggerating. It was just so natural. Damn, he's so cute! When I said cute, it was purely boyish cute. I wouldn't dare to describe him as unmanly. He's a versatile actor that could act as a male character with a feminine traits, just like his role as Dongfang Bubai back then. FYI, Dongfang Bubai was a male character who castrated himself in order to master a martial art in the Sunflower Manual. I didn't watch the drama, but I watched some short videos of his version of Dongfang Bubai. IMHO, he's the best Dongfang Bubai that I've ever seen. They mostly used an actress to play the role of Dongfang Bubai. Ding Yuxi managed to balance masculinity and femininity for Dongfang Bubai. Dear a bunch of half baked 撒娇 skilled actress, you guys better learn that skill from this xiao-Dingding, so your acting can be less annoying.
Ding Yuxi as Dongfang Bubai
Tbh, I wouldn't mind if the MUA (makeup artist) dolled him up like Dongfang Bubai as Li Bing. Li Bing in his big white cat mode got red eyeshadow under his eyes! Why couldn't he get it in his human form? It would be so epic and undoubtedly look so good on him.
Was the GCI version of the big white cat actually modeled after Ding Yuxi? They really looked alike! Da lizi was just like a mirror image of Ding Yuxi. Look at their eyes and lips!
I wonder if he used a certain method as an actor; shaping himself into the character or blend the character into himself. Whichever he used, it was the best way to understand the character, but also a dangerous way since it's possible that he couldn't get rid off the character even after the drama was over. It was so tricky. However, as an adult, I believe that he was over the fragile stage to find his identity. He was already on the safe side.
As for Wei Zheming, his acting really surprised me. The first time I knew him, he acted as Jing Beiyuan or Qi-ye (Lord Seventh) in Word of Honor. In White Cat Legend, he really surpassed my expectations on him. He nailed the role as Qiu Qingzhi; the left General of Imperial Guard, the General from Jinwu Guard. Most of the time he kept his face stoic and expressionless, but if you paid more attention to it, he clearly had a lot of emotions, especially for Li Bing. I was so glad that they didn't dub his original voice. Unlike when Li Bing addressed Qiu Qingzhi by his title so coldly; damn that was so cold, when Qiu Qingzhi addressed Li Bing by his title, it was full of respect. But when he addressed Li Bing by his name, you could notice the fondness in his voice. You could also sense the air of arrogance and authority whenever he used '本将' (this General) to address himself. Somehow he managed to sound so arrogant even when he used '邱莫' (this humble-self Qiu). Dude, you're not humble at all! However on the contrary, you would notice his modesty when he used '我' (I, me). He's a real two-face guy. He was so different in his monstrous mode and his Saint mode.
After learning how selfless and sincere Qiu Qingzhi was, my first reaction was; I insulted him so much behind his back. I shouldn't have done that. Oh, same, Wang Qi, same!
It was so sad that they killed Qiu Qingzhi in the drama. But it couldn't be helped since that character was too good. Qiu Qingzhi >>>>>>>>>>> Chen Shi + Wang Qi + Cui Bei + Sun Bao + Alibaba. Once he was back to Li Bing's side, the Mingjing Hall people were basically useless compared to Qiu Qingzhi. Looking back at Qiu Qingzhi x Li Bing in their past, I thought that he was actually the '妖' (demon) in duo '妖饼' (demon Bing). Oh, come on. Li Bing was a frail Young Master back then due his incurable illness. Basically he was like a beauty lamp that even a faint cold air could extinguish it in seconds. Qiu Qingzhi, on the contrary, was a strong and reliable man with wisdom. We know how capable and effective Qiu Qingzhi was in a battle. Capturing a small fry like thieves or bandits was like just a piece of cake for him. He also could make sure that Li Bing was safe and unharmed when he played detective with him.
Maybe it's because he was a slave (servant), even if Li Bing would never treat him like one, no one really would bother to pay attention on him. He was like the shadow of Li Bing who was born with silver in his mouth and so much privilege as the Young Master of an aristocratic family.
Back to the topic. If Qiu Qingzhi was still alive or managed to escape from death, he would single handedly outshine Mingjing Hall people so easily to the point Li Bing no longer needed anyone, but him. I meant it. Wanna bet? Whenever Li Bing needs someone to pamper him, just go get Qiu Qingzhi. Sorry, Chen Shi. Whenever Li Bing needs someone who's highly intelligent and is a sly fox with so many tricks in his sleeves, just go get Qiu Qingzhi. Sorry, Wang Qi. Whenever Li Bing needs someone who's so dedicated to a case and can memorize the detail of each case by heart, just go get Qiu Qingzhi. Sorry, Cui Bei. Whenever Li Bing needs a protection, just go get Qiu Qingzhi. Heck, Qiu Qingzhi could catch and tame the original Demon Cat; Yi Zhihua by himself. He can be a real monster once he puts his heart in it. Sorry, Sun Bao. Whenever Li Bing needs a translator or someone who has a lot of connection in the city, just go get Qiu Qingzhi. He's the left General of the Imperial Guard, he will be a big help with his influence. Sorry, Alibaba.
In short : It absolutely will be the supremacy of the Qiu Qingzhi era!
See? He was so good that they 'better' killed Qiu Qingzhi.
After Qiu Qingzhi's tragic death, I felt like it's Li Bing who's drapped in moonlight, lonely, and sad since no one can replace Qiu Qingzhi. It's definitely a losing game to compete with a dead man. Therefore, it's only Li Bing who remains in the tragedy. Even though in the end, he has Mingjing Hall people who stay on his side, things will never be the same.
Now what? Even though the drama was over, I couldn't move on! Help! 😭😭😭

Who's making Mario and Luigi Brothership?
I'm really really excited for Mario and Luigi Brothership! I've been with the series for a long time and to finally see a completely new entry that so faithfully emulates the style of the past game while still having unique character design, and really good animation has me hyped! But after watching the trailer and screaming for a bit I had one question. Who's actually making this game? Alpha dream went bankrupt in 2019, and the studio has been gone since. As to where their staff ended up we know that Hiroyuki Kubota is at Monolith Soft, Yoshihiko Maekawa supervised the Super Mario RPG Remake and according to Stealth40k on Twitter several of the senior staff that worked on Dream Team still work with Nintendo. The director of both the Superstar Saga Remake and the BiS remake ended up working at ILCA as quality assurance support on Sand Land. The point being is that the Alpha dream staff are scattered about the industry and aren't really at one studio. It's possible that some of them are working on Brothership but we most likely won't know until release. So I started to research Nintendo development partners that have experience with RPGs and here's what I've come up with so far. -Monolith Soft( Most notable for their franchise Xenoblade but also worked on Baten Kaitos, they're notable since they've provided support for a lot of recent Nintendo games including Splatoon 3 and Tears of the Kingdom) -Intelligent Systems ( Notable mainly for FE, but recently developed the Paper Mario Thousand Year Door remaster) -Genius Sonority( Developed Pokemon Colloseum and XD Gale of Darkness, are currently working on the New Denpa Men that was announced in the direct) Camelot ( Though they're known for their more recent works on Mario Sport titles, they made the goat Golden Sun) ILCA (Recently worked on BDSP, has an former Alphadream director as well as other staff) Arte Piazza Ltd. (Has a lot, and I do mean a lot of experience on RPGS and were recently on the Super Mario RPG remake) My best guess so far would probably be ILCA? Since I don't believe they're working on anything outside of porting One Piece Odyssey to Switch, they have several previous Alphadream staff and they have at least worked on a Nintendo Franchise before being Pokemon. But it could also be a brand new studio that Nintendo hasn't worked with before or an inhouse team! We really won't know until the game releases. But I can't wait to find out who made this game so I can thank them profusely for bringing back one of my childhood favorites.
Here's the sites I used if y'all wanna learn more! Plus the link to Stealth's tweet and other resources https://www.mobygames.com/ https://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_Mario_%26_Luigi:Superstar_Saga%2B_Bowser%27s_Minions_staff#Producers https://x.com/Stealth40k/status/1803226827080491008

Do you think Lucius was jealous of Saul's battle brothership with Garro?
Pre-Heresy Lucius is an insecure guy through and through. He knows he's really, really excellent at one thing and that's the only thing he wants to be recognised for. It's not for nothing that his gamerules mention that he was mocked by his brothers for how good-looking he is (and in a legion of perfectly proportioned men, that's quite a feat!). This mockery has certainly contributed to the fact that he defines himself even more than the rest of the Emperor's Children by his perfection in battle. Because that is something he has achieved himself and was not randomly distributed in the genetic lottery. (Of course, this also ensures that he later tries all the harder not to be pretty. Only to then regret it, entrance Hathor Maat stage left, etc, etc …)
All this preamble just for: In contrast, Saul is a self-contained team player. Far too unambitious for a son of Fulgrim, but a gifted strategist and empath. He works with what he has - and he has Lucius (among others). A very effective tool which, although difficult to control, can achieve astonishingly good results if used correctly. And a tool that has decided that it is incredibly fond of Saul.
So Saul has to constantly juggle the fact that Lucius wants to shine on the one hand, but also has a lot of destructive potential on the other. That really is very high maintenance!
Garro on the other hand is …. errr … there. Yes, definitely. Uncomplicated, effective and - in direct comparison to Lucius - very, very predictable.
I suppose, lore-wise, this friendship is supposed to represent the fact that Saul simply needs a break from time to time. I can't explain it any other way.
For Lucius, it's probably much, much more incomprehensible. What does Saul want with this astartes version of unflavoured porridge?
Is he really jealous? It's hard to say. In the sense that Lucius is jealous of everything that draws Saul's attention away from him, probably yes. But really deep down? Probably not, as he can think of absolutely no reason why Garro should be even the slightest bit more interesting than him.
Slightly disgusted amazement? Shaking his head as to why Saul doesn't look for something better? Anger that boredom apparently has a certain appeal? That could be it!

Mario & Luigi Brothership trailer stuff I noticed (part 2)
There's a lot going on here. First, the hammer buttons are X and Y instead of A and B. This will make it so much faster to use hammers in the overworld. Second, the split-screen with the bros being apart and one activating platforms for the other is just like Partners In Time when the babies would hit blocks to control the direction of platforms for the adults. The hammers in that game were also used with X and Y so that's something to think about. Maybe there will be other gameplay inspiration from Partners In Time at other points.
Peach joined a gang. They're all wearing the same orange thing (idk the name of it). Nice to see that she hasn't been kidnapped. That can only mean that a very intricate plot is in store if it strays from revolving around rescuing her.
This non-pig has replaced Starlow as there were no signs of her anywhere. I'm thankful that we're getting a new companion. Before Starlow was Stuffwell the suitcase and now we have Snoutlet. I wonder if they all have S names on purpose. I'm looking forward to seeing the personality and lore of this creature. I'm hoping that it makes a "when pigs fly" type of joke at some point.
Bowser is back but most likely isn't going to be a major part of the story like in Superstar Saga. The shy guy ships are also resembling their designs from Bowser's Inside Story which I love. I can't wait to see what Bowser will get up to.
If anyone in the trailer is the main villain, it has to be this guy. Really gives Count Bleck vibes. It would be a cool twist if he turned out to be a good guy. It would confuse so many people. "He looks so evil! Why is he helping us???"
Good to see that the 3D version of the shell move is back. It's so much more dynamic and properly uses the 3D landscape. Not much else to say about it. We all knew that they would bring some version of the shell kick as a bros move. It's been a tradition since Partners In Time. Every game since has had it. Even Superstar Saga had a similar thing in the form of kicking a shelled enemy at other enemies in a counterattack.
That's all I can think of to say about the trailer. I'll post if I think of anything else. Cheers!

So the reason Starlow's with us is because we just so happened to run into her in a museum?
For the record, I don't hate Starlow. Yes, she was a massive jerk in BIS. But the thing is, she did grow out of it. In 2 out of the 3 games she was in she did have moments proving she did care and respect Luigi, even if it was in a rather prickly way.
She's a decent jerk with a heart of gold character, who at least gets to actually show a nicer side (looking at you, Kersti) and has a personality that doesn't begin and end at being an expostion bot (Stuffwell).
Although I do respect the criticism that she overstayed her welcome as a character, being in 3 games and all. And I think they made the right call replacing her with Snoutlet in Brothership, especially since her arc is pretty much complete. There's really not much new that can be done with Starlow as a character.
The lack of handrails on this jet platform is really getting under my skin.
As someone who is on the autism spectrum, Luigi being more interested in doing his own thing glancing at the exhibits instead of listening to the tour guide like the rest of the group is the biggest mood ever.
Wait, did Starlow just confirm neurodivergent Weegee?!?!
It's so funny how the Pi'illo get saved from a living nightmare because of Luigi's need for naps and questionable handling of historical artifacts. (But then again, the blockhead did give him the treasure and allowed them to use the bed, so...)
Don't keep reminding me...
And here's a good Starlow moment. She actually has justifiable reasons for being a jerk for once. (After seeing too many characters be mean for no reason, this is a breath of fresh air.)
Dr. Snoozemore is a very weird character. He's the owner of the island, he's a scientist researching the Pi'illo and their sleep powers, he frequently goes missing for long periods with nobody knowing where he is... They give us all this buildup to him being a villain, only for him to just be an NPC/exposition bot.
Starlow & Toadworth: Peach, you should really stay away from the mysterious portal.
Peach: No. :)

really love the animation in Mario and Luigi Brothership and it's cute that Mario and Luigi being really good brothers is the centre element of things this time instead of making Luigi the butt of a bunch of jokes. but they should not have called it that. do not ship the brothers.

Hello, this is kenny.png. Recently, my recent words have caused you a great deal of concern, I've even noticed it in your comments and DMs. I sincerely apologize for having worried you, I wasn't myself anymore at this moment.
It means a lot to me that you were concerned about me. I'm so sorry that all of this mess happened. I confess, I was on the verge of stopping everything, stopping being "kenny.png" and to disappear as if I never existed. But fortunately I refrained from doing so.
The main reason behind my behavior were linked to the fact I was and still overbusy with school works who put enormous pressure on me, more it was hard to work on it and the more I told myself I wasn't up to the task so much so that I felt discouraged afterwards and unable to keep sharing the content I usually post on social networks which I enjoy a lot to do with all of you. Another main reason is linked to a certain IRL moment that occured in February 2024. I won't talk about it here but if you want to know about it... Please let me know through DMs and I'll do my best to explain the whole situation. That said, even if I was about to do so, I won't be leaving this account, not anymore. Today I realize how lucky I am to be alive, to share my joy with all of you.
Even if it's not through art, I will still be there, even during the worst time of my life. I want to enjoy my life as never before. You guys helped me and I'm ready to help you aswell if ever you have any problems. I'll do my best to help you in the future.
For now, kenny.png will now take a break from posting any form of art until I get fully better and ready. I intend to rise from my ashes when the time comes. I'll keep being active on social networks even if it's not for posting art, at least if I'm not too busy.
Now about the brush set I uploaded through Google Drive the other day, I admit it was rushed. I must say that I had promised to post my brush set for a long time. Well... It's now done and I'm very happy to share this with you and I hope you'll enjoy using this brush set.
I reserve the right to make a tutorial on how to use this brush set in the future and see even a full tutorial on how to replicate the "Mario & Luigi" art style if any of you guys would like.
Now for the Brothership part, I admit I was clumsy in the pronunciation of my words. There's indeed chances I might not be able to enjoy the game the day of its release and this is due to the fact I might still be busy working on my school work and actually, I can't afford to buy the game yet. I think I'll be waiting a bit before I get the game in my hands and of course I plan to play it. As I was told, we're witnessing the rebirth of the "Mario & Luigi" games and I wouldn't miss it for the world!
There's a good chance that I will delete the last posts, if you guys thinks it's a good idea, please let me know.
To finish, I'll be back, no matter what, stronger than before. I'll keep doing what I enjoy the most, always will! Thank you very much everyone! Your support really means a lot to me. See you soon!

I finally beat brothership!!
I really liked it actually!
It's very chill and relatively long. Definitely a good game to relax with at the end of a long day. I loved most of the characters, they're all very charming and have lovley designs! I was surprised that they openly tackled some darker themes too!!
I especially love what they did with Starlow's character! I feel like we as a community can understand her a lot better now
Although the game felt long, it didn't feel forcefully stretched except for the fetch quest before the final area boss, so that's a huge plus- And there's also a lot of different side quests that just make everything feel so much more connected
The difficulty was nice too, I did struggle a bit at certain points, but it never got frustrating
The only thing I truly disliked was the final boss, especially the beginning of the fight. Like wtf was that. The true battle could've been more difficult but hey it's fine! I understand that not everyone enjoys having to restart a battle ten times, especially not in a silly mario game
But yeah, I really liked this game! I liked the story, I liked the characters!
Would definitely recommend it
