Katsuki was already flushed with embarrassment as the Class 1-A crowd gathered in the common room, gawking at the unexpected sight of him holding you close. Mina’s laughter filled the air, and she snapped another photo, only for Katsuki to glare in her direction. “Would you idiots shut it already?” he hissed, though his voice was kept low enough not to wake you.

“Oh, come on, Bakugo! This is, like, the cutest thing ever!” Mina whispered, grinning from ear to ear.

“Man, who knew you had a soft side?” Kaminari smirked, nudging Kirishima, who gave Bakugo an amused yet supportive look.

Katsuki’s jaw clenched, cheeks reddening as he glanced down at you resting peacefully against him. He didn’t want to admit it, but he couldn’t bear to let you wake up to this scene, especially with everyone making such a fuss. So, with a gruff sigh, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Ignoring the whispered jokes and giggles, he lifted you carefully, making his way out of the common room and up the stairs toward the girls’ dorm area. As he walked, you nuzzled closer to his chest, a soft sigh escaping your lips. His heart pounded at the warmth of your sleepy movements, and he couldn’t help but feel a surge of protectiveness. Even though he was still Katsuki Bakugo—the explosive, determined hero—he felt a softness with you that he never expected.

Reaching your room, he nudged the door open with his shoulder, entering quietly and gently lowering you onto your bed. For a moment, he stayed by your side, watching as you settled onto your pillow, peaceful and content. He brushed a strand of hair from your face, his fingers lingering for just a second longer than necessary.

Before he could pull away, you stirred, your hand reaching up to grasp his gently. Still half-asleep, you mumbled something incoherent, and your hand squeezed his, grounding him there. Katsuki’s expression softened, and he leaned down, pressing a quiet kiss to your forehead.

“Hey…” he murmured, his voice unusually soft. “About earlier… sorry if I went too hard on you. I never meant to hurt you.”

He swallowed, feeling an unfamiliar weight of vulnerability in his chest. “And… I know I don’t say this much, but… you’re something special, alright? Just don’t tell anyone I said that,” he muttered, almost shyly.

Katsuki brushed his thumb across your hand one last time, his usual scowl replaced by a look of pure affection. He pulled back, his footsteps barely making a sound as he left, but his heart was racing as he closed the door behind him, already thinking about seeing you again in the morning.
