Aroace Barbie is an amazing headcannon and Lesbian Barbie is an amazing headcannon and also simultaneously I personally really love the idea of Barbie being attracted to men but not Ken. There is something really great bout her not ending up with Ken for no other reason than her not being into him specifically.

The Crockett and Tubbs jokes continuing of course. My mom said "that's the gay one!" when Eddie claimed to be Crockett, despite being very clearly dressed as Tubbs and definitely knowingly using reference photos to pick the costume, even if it was long enough ago that he forgot.

Also, I love the idea of Eddie suggesting them being Crockett and Tubbs because he wanted to be Crockett because he just "relates to him.....for some reason"

I don't think Christians in America get the right to feel like victims for being Christian. We're the dominant religion and are disproportionately represented in government. Especially because most of the time when I see people pretend like they're going to be sent to jail for being Christian they are Protestants. "In 2022, about 34 percent of Americans were Protestants, making it the most common form of Christianity in the United States" (found here).

While there's nothing inherently wrong with being Protestant and obviously there's nothing wrong with being Christian, it's necessary for us to realize the power we have in this country, how our religion is taken far more seriously than others, the fact that it's been used to hate over and over again. It is our responsibility as Christians to be the best we can for ourselves and our community.

red white and royal blue was so cheesy and predictable I enjoyed it thoroughly. making banal queer romantic comedies is hard but necessary work

yesterday i finally found time to finish watching heartstopper season 3 and, as always, i've adored it! tbh there were some changes from the webtoon that left me a bit speechless (such as the ferris wheel scene with tori and charlie), but it's okay i trust alice and know they've got more wonderful stuff to look forward to in the future season(s) ~

i don't think it's just me but this show sort of feels like a warm hug, even for people like me who aren't teenagers anymore and haven't come out of the closet yet...

i'll always cherish the stories and characters created by alice oseman! sadly they weren't part of my adolescence (i would have loved reading/watching heartstopper in my teenage years, it would have been so immensely helpful), but they're helping me now that i'm in my 20s to better accept myself, among other things 𔓘

hopefully n3tfl1x will renew the show for season 4 soon !!

Random thing to say but it's Pride month still so fuck it This year came with the realization I'm also demigirl :Dc

#I've always felt close to my femininity but not as much as I wanted to tbh #if people were to associate purely female-assigned stuff like skirts or needing to have a child when I grow up I'd feel very uncomfortable #now I finally understand why that happens #I mostly have boy friends than girl friends because I can relate to the former aspect more than the latter #but there's still that point where both sides are not what I am fully.. like I can feel masculine or feminine but not to an extreme #never felt completely neutral either #in fact I don't connect with neutral pronouns.. it feels like it's not me when people refer to me with they/them #i also feel uncomfy being referred to as trans or as nb because I feel like I'm a girl most of the time but still to a certain extent #I started using he/him and they feel kinda nice although it needs time to get used to #so yeah.. demigirl fits more than bigender or genderfluid for me tbh #if anyone's a she/him demigirl please let me know because I feel like I'm the only one here HGDFHGDFS #wanda talks #pride #pride month #demigirl #demigirl pride #queer #lgbtq+#lgbt community

Deeply genuine question, does anyone else feel Insane Crazy Hyper Feminine in presentation specifically on the week that is or would be your typical period week?

#I’ve been on t for a while now and it’s still a pattern I notice #I don’t often genuinely seriously want feedback on my personal posts (although it’s always welcome) but this seriously baffles me #I’m pretty gender queer in my gender in general but the older I get and the more I learn about myself the more I recognize that it’s really #only like a week out of every month or so (give or take a few fruity days here and there) where I really feel super feminine #and I am pretty damn sure it’s synced to my period cycle??? incredibly dysphoria inducing yes but I’m not 100% mad at it?#I have fun with hyper femininity but my baseline is something that can definitely be considered more masculine on average #also related‚ I’ve recently embraced gender fluidity as a part of my over all anti-binary existence #I feel really notable switches that come seemingly randomly outside of the few I feel specifically where I believe my cycle would be #and even when I miss a t dose and I do end up relapsing into having a period it seems to line up #and I don’t think it’s ??? like??? a bio-essentialist thing at all? my body and brain just does this??? and I really really wanna know #if any other gender queer folks have this experience #I don’t trust a google search to give me anything other than gender essentialist bullshit though #would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this! b #accidental b*#blithering on #gender #gender queer #genderqueer #nonbinary #transmasc #transmasculine #ftm

Fanfic Ratings!: - Time Loops - Soulmates - Monster AUs (half/all the ship is mermaids, dragons, demons, whatever)

Time Loops: B! I really really enjoy time loops, I just don't spend much time Reading them - which I might change actually 👀 There's a lot of potential in them, and I like them best when they're taken in a weird direction, like subverting other common tropes like "The power of love/friendship will save you" or doing everything perfect etc., etc. But I also like when those happen too! :3

Soulmates: D - I have a lot of strong opinions about soulmates as a concept which basically boil down to This Would Change A Lot of Things about the World, and if that's not worldbuilt into the story, I'm not interested. If it's just a singular/ethereal/unproven soulmates thing like the Red Thread? All over that lol, but it's more set dressing than Plot if you get me. Things like first word-tattoos, or hearing your soulmates' thoughts, or feeling what they feel, or yes Omegaverse true pairs - full of potential! But I don't! Like it! Generally!! I think it's that I feel icky about One Person Ever (abusive True Pairs really turned me off of Omegaverse), maybe if I hunt down some polygamous Soulmates I'll feel better about it lol

Monster AU: A - I love monsters! ♥ Of all kinds! I have a lot of faves in this category (I'm also including aliens in this because - apart from the obvious lol - I really enjoy non-human alien pairings :D Bug aliens are some of my favourites ♪), including monster/monster! I haven't read it for a while but there's one that's a drider/mermaid pair and they're super cute <3 I also like when the monster is a manifestation of self-something-negative and turns into self-love hehe ♥
