i think ive seen u talk abt the xmen comics (if im wrong, this is embarassing sorry) but do u have any xmen comic recomendations? its always scary to start reading marvel comics beacuse theres like a million and one different canons and its scary to start

so atm irdk ab specific xmen runs im mostly relying on the animated/live action adaptations atm (if i read any more things than i already am for grad school, ill explode) - my plan is to get thru tas and 97 and then go through the comics with the help of this guide you might find useful!

feeling so many emotions right now but i just want to say that the brettsey fandom has been the best fandom ive been in…the most welcoming fandom who welcomed me with open arms 🥲 even tho there have been some tough times lol. ive met so many amazing people in this fandom. truth be told, this show has brought me so much comfort (regardless of how i felt towards the ending). i started watching in nov 2020, a time where i needed something to find comfort in, and i found that within this show and ship. i discovered my love for giffing and making edits because of this show and it is something i’ll always be grateful for 🥹 i do not know what is going to happen with this blog if im being honest - ill be on here once in a while but after giffing this episode, i may be taking a break. other than that, i just wanted to say how grateful and happy i am we got to experience this together <3 here’s to brettsey endgame 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

so i'm going to break it even more and say that. LET'S SAY childe had a hunch that irminsul would be a tool in this overarching quest of scara's. childe is one of the more dangerous harbingers, right? maybe the most straightforward, but i'd like to think he'd get up to his fair share of trickery hijinks.

so let's say he knew. cause why else would he just let the gnosis go? the harbingers wanted it, they wouldn't let such a powerful device go that easily if it was meant for the tsaritsa, especially childe, who is loyal to her.

so childe lets it go with scara, because he had a feeling scara and the traveler would have a significant encounter in sumeru, and that dottore is involved, that irminsul is involved. maybe it has to do more with the traveler's reputation than anything else. with how much the traveler seems to save the day, childe probably bet on it happening again in sumeru.

but what if childe knew time was going to be messed with as well? It wouldn't be too difficult for them to infiltrate the Akademiya and either watch things implode or have a direct hand in it. So they probably planned to use that concept for themselves too.

I mean, it's why Dottore was involved, right?

But also consider: descender is a fatui term, it could be that the harbingers/the tsarita managed to take a precaution at least in some manner to protect their memories beforehand in case time erased something big. Maybe they have a descender on the inside, or they still have a bargain going with one of the descenders they met previously. (cough cough, zhongli.)

Even if said preservation is simply an alternate excuse for their actions, like Childe in Inazuma. Cause Childe would definitely remember going to Inazuma.

Maybe not every harbinger would think to do something like this, but I feel like Childe would since some of his actions directly involved the balladeer. I wouldn't say he'd want someone to record everything for him, but at least help him fill in some missing gaps.

sometimes I randomly think about the time a girl posted in this girls only Facebook group I’m in telling everyone how she broke up with her boyfriend and he lied saying that he lost the spare key she gave him, only to then break into her apartment when she wasn’t home and steal the cat they’d adopted while they were together, but then he denied having done this and she didn’t really have proof that he took the cat since he wouldn’t let her come into his place and look for it. And then another girl saw this post and knew her ex-boyfriend, and she was like “girl. I used to hook up with your mans back in xxxx and I still have his number. If you want, I’ll hit him up and get him to invite me back to his place and see if your cat’s there.” And the OP was like “bet.”

So this woman hit up homie dog, asked him out for drinks, went home with him, slept with him, and then woke up in the middle of the night and TOOK THE CAT. Like she had only said that she would confirm if the cat was there but then she took it upon herself to steal this woman’s cat back. Like she full on Trojan horsed this man and then hit up homegirl like “I got the goods. Where you wanna meet.” And then the two of them posted a photo of them together with the cat to the group.

And I just think women supporting women is so beautiful.
