danys marriage to drogo is the story of a teenage girl losing her autonomy after she was sold to an older man by her brother

in asoiaf, there are two versions of rhaegar and lyanna’s relationship

the first is the one robert baratheon (the man the starks were trying to sell lyanna to) tells us readers. the one where rhaegar kidnapped and raped lyanna.

the second is the one hinted at, the one readers slowly uncover. the one where lyanna ran off with rhaegar willingly. in this version, lyanna daringly takes back her autonomy. in this version, there was love.

robert baratheons version of events is reminiscent of dany and drogos relationship. the second (and likely the real) version of events is the complete opposite.

i do headcanon that there’s more to rhaegar and lyanna’s relationship than meets the eye, but even if the truth is that lyanna simply wanted to flee her arranged marriage and rhaegar provided her with the means to do so, then i’ll still look positively on their relationship as i’ll always root for women when they try to take back their bodily autonomy :)

The number of pages on the google doc for the Arc 1 Plot fully fleshed out as of now.

So good news: pretty much almost everything is written out for Part 1. A-plot, B-plot, pinch points, inciting incident, midpoint, various character interactions, disaster moment, etc. Also been getting more ideas to help things flow for the rest of the story. It’s basically on the cusp of completion.

Bad news: still gotta keep working on the rest of the story.

Also means will have to revise the prologue script just a TINY bit. But it does mean it’s more or less solid.

The Danganronpa books are all really good and here's why you should read them.

Danganronpa Zero is a really good origin story that explores junko's character and the a lot of the shady stuff with Hope's Peak along with introducing a lot of things that would become staples of the series like Izuru Kamukura and the reserve course. It's also consistently referenced all throughout the series.

Danganronpa Kirigiri is not only a great origin story for Kyoko, it also has plenty of great new characters, interesting mysteries, and amazing themes. The author would even go on to work on Danganronpa v3 and create all the crazy murder methods in that game. In my personal opinion this is probably the best written entry in the entire series.

Danganronpa IF is not only a fun what if story but also a great character study of Mukuro who now finally understands her sister and recontextualizes a lot of things, it's also just really fun in general.

Makoto Naegi Secret File is a short but entertaining story about the events that led Makoto to becoming a student at Hope's Peak. It adds some neat context and some interesting foreshadowing, plus it's just really weird lol.

Ultra Despair Hagakure is just a generally really funny story about Yasuhiro in Towa City where he bumps into a lot of crazy people while trying to get money to pay his debts, it's silly and fun. Don't expect Shakespeare, it's just a fun time.

Danganronpa 1-2 Beautiful Days is a collection of non-canon stories similar to the anthology comics, overall it's just really neat but the story "Nanami the Adventurer" absolutely is a must read for perfectly explaining what makes Danganronpa 2's cast great.

Love that trigun requires you to trust in the process but also Nightow just drops stuff that makes no sense and never will and I love that too, all the crazy is mixed in with the intense foreshadowing and symbolism. Mochijun is amazing and I feel like ppl don’t understand how much she’s worked. PH began in 2006, had long chapters a minimum of 40 pages. I wasn’t there for the run but to release 104 chapters in 9 years you can assume there were almost no breaks. If you’ve read Brocante which is a sketchbook that comes with special edition of vol 11 (I strongly recommend getting it if you can). You would know she’s been planning VnC from 2009-2015. So essentially for 6 out of those 9 years of PH’s run mochijun was working on two manga at the same time. That’s crazy.

And mind you, she didn’t take that long of a break after PH. It ended in March of 2015 I believe and then she had to compose the PH final artbook soon after. And vnc started in December. And went on with few breaks until a few years ago. Then you include supervising the 2009 ph anime and VnC’s anime when they came out. Then include the ph and vnc collab, the ph 15th anniversary cafe, the now mochijun 20th anniversary online lottery. Then you include interviews, signings, covers of GJ magazines. She worked on a shoujo rei MV. She makes all the additional items that come with volumes. I think she released 3 light novels for PH (though idk if she wrote them or overlooked its creation by another writer). There’s likely stuff I forgot depending on her role in stage plays. Or art she did in miscellaneous magazines or art she did for other creators. Or much more I just don’t know about. Jun Mochizuki is not a company or a small studio. She has assistants thank god but most of this will fall on one woman.

I know it’s sad we haven’t gotten vnc since April but firstly, we got a lot of shit in April. So the hiatus is sad but I’m not surprised. And honestly when I found out she worked on ph and vnc around the same time, I was so shocked she hadn’t broken down for that long. On a final note, both PH and VnC are not simple manga with straight-forward plots. They have so much planning and detail and foreshadowing placed into them. She gave us two complex manga basically back to back.

Okay, here are my thoughts about 911 episode 8x09…

Please remember that they are in random order as I think of them. I can’t be bothered to put everything in chronological order.

I've put everything behind a 'read more' as to not spoil anyone who hasn't seen the ep yet.

The first call Maddie takes with the killer. For some reason they put emphasis on the ‘disconnected’ tab when the killer hung up. I know it’s probably coincidence, but for some reason it stuck with me because of the 8x12 title also being ‘Disconnected’.

The first Buddie talk in the episode when they are both cleaning the see-through windows of the locker room. The way Buck is so eager to help Eddie out is just soooo telling. He keeps wanting to help Eddie out and he keeps saying ‘we’ instead of ‘I’. I just… that man is so crazy about Eddie and he doesn’t even realise it. And the way they stood at opposite sites of the window? So close, but yet so far because there is something in between them. This ties back all the way to the end of the episode when they hug. But it’s still very symbolic of what is about to happen with them in the following episodes when Eddie is leaving.

Eddie’s “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.” is going to come back and bite him in the ass when he is all alone in Texas and he realises just how much Buck did for him and still does. He is going to get hit by an anvil when he finally understand what it is he feels for him. Oh sweet fanfiction goodness, how I’ve longed to see you happen for Buddie. 🤗

The dog rescue call was actually a lot less angsty than I had anticipated. I expected angry Eddie with those stills and that one reaction shot in the promo. But in the end Eddie sent Buck a lovely smile when he saw him with the dog. In a way it’s an even better reaction than him being angry with Buck. He knows that Buck would never leave that dog behind. He accepts him just as he is and he is endeared by it.

Okay, back to the kidnapper story. Why is Athena the only police officer in LA again? I’m not even going to bother to understand anymore. I’ll just accept that Athena can do it all. She is Athena Grant Nash after all. 🤷‍♀️

All right, look… I love how Maddie figured out all the information about the missing girls, but how is it possible that a 911 operator finds out more information about a kidnapping case through Googling than the police? And how is it possible that the leading detective on a case just casually discusses very sensitive case details with a 911 operator? I just… what?

Aaaah! The people visiting Eddie’s house looking to rent it! That scene was Buddie gold! The way Buck subconsciously tries to sabotage the whole thing is the most fanficcy thing that has ever fanficced. And he is really totally unaware he is doing it. It’s just a natural thing for him to yap about certain stuff like meth labs in the neighbourhood. Eddie’s face was so great!

My heart broke when Buck overheard Eddie saying that he has no ties in LA and that everything that matters is in Texas. I get why Eddie said it, because he is trying to convince himself that he is doing the right thing by moving to Texas. Subconsciously he know that he really doesn’t want to move at all.

And of course all of this leads to Buck feeling left behind and uncared for again. The Buckley parents have so much to answer to. So what does he do? He adopts a dog and tells everyone he found a new best friend as some kind of pay-back towards Eddie.

Then it backfires, because as soon as he ‘outs’ Eddie, which… really? That is the word Buck uses later on in the episode? Please… foreshadowing 101!

The way Buck clearly doesn’t understand why Bobby, Chimney and Hen all agree with Eddie going back to Texas for Chris. As soon as they all hug Eddie, Buck’s face goes through a journey, because he too knows it’s the right thing to do, but he also realises he feels all kinds of things about Eddie leaving. It’s a glorious scene.

Okay—listen, Maddie talking that pervert into killing himself? That was a chilling scene and it kinda made me feel very nauseated for a moment there, because what do you mean sweet lovely Maddie has to do something so cruel in order for a girl to survive? Why do they keep putting Maddie through terrible shit like this? JHL though! What a phenomenal actress! 911 is so lucky to have her! The anguish on her face was so real.

The whole conversation between Buck and Eddie in the firehouse was once again gold. The whole Buck telling Eddie how hurt he felt about Eddie talking behind his back like that and his “I don’t need you either” comment? Just when the dog runs off to be with its real family? The way Eddie just stood there, in the frame, watching Buck say goodbye and hearing him say how hard it was to say goodbye to people. I was shooketh! 🫠

That brings us to the moment when Buck is in front of Eddie’s door again. He seems more relaxed now while Eddie seems stressed. The whole ‘outing’ comment was wild! Why would they choose that word?

I love how Eddie calls Buck out on the fact that he does tend to get lost in his own emotions up to the point where he finds it hard to step in somebody else’s shoes. It’s clear from everything that Eddie doesn’t want to go to Texas, but it’s like he said to Buck, if he has to choose Chris will win every single time. Which is normal for a parent to be honest. And Buck gets that. He doesn’t want to get in the way of that. But he also doesn’t want to be left behind again by someone he so clearly loves. He just doesn’t know yet how deep that love runs. It’s so tragic how they keep missing the signs. But oh so delicious to see it all play out on our TV-screens. The angst and the eventual pining will be perfection! 😋🙂‍↕️

Love how all of this leads up to a farewell party and the revelation that Buck is the new renter! OMG!!! Sweet fanfic perfection! We were right! So many of us speculated Buck moving into Eddie’s house and we were right!!! When Eddie will come back, they will be roommates! And I’m pretty sure that at least one of them will have realised their feelings by then, so the awkward pining will be so satisfying to watch!

But ‘Freddie Fakeman’? Really Eddie? This didn’t ring an alarm bell?

Eddie’s teary eyes when he said: “You really did that for me?”🥹 And the way Buck just explained that he would do anything for Eddie and Christopher. I just… Eddie open you eyes already and follow your heart.

And another hug!!!!!! EEEE!

Eddie’s last lingering look at the house was so telling. He really doesn’t want to leave, but he knows that he needs to go for Christopher.

(But Eddie, please turn off the lights when you go out. What are you doing? You're just wasting energy.)

Back to Maddie and… yeah, we all saw this coming from miles away right? There were definite signs in the trailer that the detective was dirty. Interesting how we didn’t get the Maddie scream from the promo in this episode. 8x09 and 8x10 really do belong together.

That’s all I’ve got for this episode. All I can say is, if anyone was still doubting that Buddie was in the cards? After this episode it’s very clear that Buddie is exactly where this is going. I don’t know about you, but I’m here for it! 😏

The Upside Down is stuck on multiple days, not just November 6th, 1983. I've already discussed this possibility a little bit, but I collected more evidence and I want to make a longer theory post about it!

The Wheeler house is stuck on November 6th, 1983, but do we know that about the rest of the Upside Down?

This was mentioned in another post I made, but Robin literally says it herself. She says Nancy's house is stuck, not the entire thing. This line could be hinting at the UD having different time appearances in different locations.

So let's get into the evidence:

The most damning evidence of this theory is that the Snow Ball decorations are in the UD. The Snow Ball takes place in December, not November. Even the cars in the parking lot are the same. The sparkly lights hanging inside can be seen as well. If the entire UD is stuck in the same time, there's zero explanation for the Snow Ball decorations appearing there.

Joyce already had problems with her magnets before so they want us to look at these damn magnets! In the UD Byers house, the big pink magnet is low down on the fridge, but it's on the top in the real world. The pair of magnets that are above the pink magnet are not there at all in the UD. It's possible that the magnets fell and got rearranged during that week with all the crazy stuff happening, but it's definitely something to consider.

What if the magnets are different because this wasn’t a 1983 version of the Byers house?

This might be a bit of a stretch but we know that Joyce was working the night Will went missing. If the UD is stuck on that night, why isn't Joyce's car in front of the store she works at? Little weird.

Here's another one. On the right in the real world, there's a black car with a white top. This car is in that exact place in the UD. Will was in 1984, so why is that car in the same place in 1983? This goes for all of Will's s2 visions. I won't put photos for all of them, but each vision looks identical to the 1984 version of Hawkins instead of 1983.

All except for one.

This is where it gets weird. You could say that Will's visions are identical to 1984 because they're Vecna visions, not the actual Upside Down. If that were the case, why is the UD different from both 1984 and 1983 in one of his visions?

Look. There's no laundry in this vision. The second image is from 1984 and there's laundry on the line. There's also laundry in the 1983 version. But none in the UD? To be fair, the second pic was a few days after the vision so it's possible that they did laundry between the two scenes. But I don't like simple explanations! It's weird!

Ok so why is the UD stuck on different days? It has to do with memory travel. I think multiple people have travelled into different memories and this altered the appearance of the UD.

Max's Snow Ball memory is the reason why the decorations appear in the UD. There's even foreshadowing for this in the original Snow Ball episode! Max has a hair pin with a stained glass rose on it. El also has a bracelet with a little flower. This is because they meet there later on the other side and fight Vecna who is represented by the stained glass window!

Look at the lyrics that play during Lucas and Max's first kiss. "It's you I can't replace" is a very telling lyric here. People can't be replicated in the UD, but buildings can. Max's memory didn't have any people when she travelled there. She literally can't replace or replicate Lucas.

The next line talks about feeling cold. What place is described as cold? The Upside Down. Right. Also the entire song is filled with "I'll be watching you" lines which are self explanatory. She was being watched by Vecna. This is proven right with the Mind Flayer transition a bit later!

So what if the Mind Flayer was there during the Snow Ball not only for Will, but Max? We know a red storm follows Vecna/Mind Flayer wherever he goes. The Mind Flayer might have been there because Vecna and Max were there in the future (past?) in her memory. This is why the storm appears around Max’s memory as she’s fighting Vecna.

Notice how Will gets pulled into a version of the arcade that looks normal with no people before he arrives in the Upside Down version. Yeah. Same thing happened to Max. She saw a happy, normal version of the Snow Ball for a few minutes until it started rotting and replicating the UD. Will's change only took a couple of seconds, but he's been in the UD before, so it doesn't take long to convince his mind that he's there.

The similarities here show that Will may have memory hopped like Max did at some point!

Look at this! The first image is Castle Byers in 1983. On the table to the right, there's a microscope in the UD version. That microscope isn't there in the 1983 version. You know when it is there? The 1982 memory Joyce recalls. The lion plushie also moved which either means 1. Will was cuddling it in the UD (cried typing this) or 2. the UD version is not the 1983 version.

After Joyce recalls the 1982 memory, the sheet blows aggressively in the wind. The wind isn't that strong elsewhere in this scene. What if that wind was Will travelling into a Castle Byers memory? When Max travelled to the Snow Ball, her hair also blew in the wind! (partially because Billy threw a door across the room but work with me here). I bet the version of Castle Byers in the UD is either the Joyce memory here or the memory of him building it with Jonathan.

What if each time they flipped to a memory of Will in s1, he was travelling into that memory and transforming the UD to replicate it? He kept trying to hide in a happy memory, but it always ended up rotten because of Vecna.

So when Will was initially kidnapped, he tried to go back to the Wheeler house memory to save himself. That’s why their house is stuck on that day but the rest of the UD isn’t.

It's also totally possible that some of the locations in the UD replicate future memory hopping. Maybe some characters in s5 will hide in a happy memory and alter the UD. Some parts of the UD could be from the future!

The Upside Down might be like a meeting place for memories and mind weirdness. Multiple connected mindscapes? One mindscape they're all tapping into? A random void-like dimension that they go to when they enter their own minds? Many possibilities! All I know is that the UD isn't stuck on one day and Max's Snow Ball memory definitely had something to do with that. Memory hopping changed that damn dimension!

I went on a rant, so if you are experiencing byler doubt, read this.

"What about us?" "What?"

and

"We're friends. We're friends"

are crazy btw. that's the moment that solidified byler becoming canon for me.

The first time I watched that scene I didn't understand half of the conversation bc they always shift the topics so you need to analyze their conversations (especially their fights) in order to be sure what they were essentially talking about. But it's all the inherently romantic stuff with byler that make me sure they will happen. I don't need any more proof than that (the second best proof for me is how they have exactly what the other needs, along with Will being confirmed in love with Mike)

Like, even with the occasional doubt about whether or not they will queerbait us, I always knew (from the first time I watched the show) that they were being written to be love interests. (other than Mike confusing me in s3 at first)

There are soooo many moments that make it obvious that byler is romantic (and not one-sided), just by spotting the tropes they use with them.

Of course Mike is written in a way that will confuse us, but the byler fandom analyzed his character to the point that him having feelings for Will makes complete sense, even more so than if he doesn't. So now that isn't even an issue anymore.

Not to mention that in every season they keep expanding on whatever is going on with them. S3 was shocking, even with the clues in the previous seasons. The rain fight is what made apparent that, even though they were trying to make it look like there was nothing of substance there, SURPRISE!! THERE IS. And then s4 made it 10 times more obvious that their relationship is important as fuck. Thennn there is the foreshadowing throughout s4 that their relationship will be super important for the supernatural plot as well.

It just kept getting gayer and gayer. If you thought that the rain fight was a one time thing, especially bc the only conversation they had after it was really brief, s4 made you go "HOLD ON THERE IS ACTUALLY EVEN MORE THERE??"

AND THE THING IS THAT IT GOT PROGRESSIVELY MORE OBVIOUSLY GAY ON PURPOSE. THE BUILD-UP WAS. ON. PURPOSE.

I rest my case, I have 0% doubt that byler will be endgame. Not even duffer doubt, bc there is no fucking way we are reading it wrong. TRUST YOUR INTUITION PPL!!!!! THE SUFFERS WILL DELIVER!!

Kaeya's design pt.2 (updated until 5.1 because yes, more stuff gets added with updates, his design is that thought ahead)

or maybe im delusional and looking into things way too much! heyy, Me again!! this is gonna be a master post of all the things ive noticed about kaeya's design, ive made one like it before but since then there's been a bunch of new stuff so i decided to make a new post that has everything i have to note. this is complied of things i myself have noticed and things that others have. this post will not include anything about his skin other than noting a couple of significant differences since the outfit wasn't made specifically for him in the scope of the story, but i might cover it in a separate post

kaeya's design mostly consists of "two sides" in a way, his "mondstat" side and his "khaenri'ah" side.

his mondstadt side includes his vision, the full side of his cape in the back, the earring he wears and his rat tail, all this represents the freedom he has in mondstat and the person he grew to be there, a vision bearing knight of favonius.

the khaenri'ah side includes his eyepatch, the wisp of lighter hair in his bang, a clipped cape ("wing") and the majority of the fur coating. i believe this goes to represent that he's still tied to khaenri'ah despite all the time he's spent in mondstadt, and that he's quite aware of it. Also, the glove on that side has a kind of buckle that kind of reminds me of a shackle or a handcuff, as well as this thing with a bunch of eight pointed stars that are not apparent on the mondstadt

all across his design (the boots, corset belt, gloves, little things on the ends of the cape thing he has, his left sleeve) there are bunch of "eight pointed" stars we see associated with khaenri'ah, one being in his pupil which was a confirmed trait to khaenri'ahn people ever since we saw dainsleif.

id like to note that kaeya's eyepatch is stressed on a lot in game. its constantly referred back to most of the time when kaeya is brought up. he has a voiceline about it (that has been changed once in the english version to to a mistranslation i believe, ill include both versions) the first is the current version.

traveler has a voiceline about it where paimon makes fun of it but i think its notable there's a voiceline specifically about it at all.

its mentioned right when we start the world quest "Bough Keeper" where we meet dainsleif. he doesn't even have an eyepatch half of his face is just black it was a stretch in the first place.

kaeya himself dismisses it as nothing unusual.

in his story quest he says he inherited it from his grandfather, which is solid proof that they're related by blood. (his story quest has some crazy foreshadowing btw that predicted that him and the abyss twin are possibly related in some way or another by extensions but i wont get into it here)

there isnt really a solid idea attached to any of this, other than the fact that kaeya's eyepatch is stressed on as a point of intrigue, its pretty implied to be related to his origin of khaenri'ah, and we often see khaenri'hn people with their right eye covered in some way. and to those of you that think that he wears the eyepatch because diluc injured his eye during his fight, no he isnt. it might've been scarred by him yes but he isnt blind in that eye, and in the webcomic it shows kaeya wearing an eyepatch on the day crepus died, before the fight with diluc.

while we're on the subject of his eyes, he's somewhat of an abnormality amongst Khaenri'ahn people. every other khaenri'ahn person we know have teal eyes with their pupil being a bold black star outline, kaeya's on the other hand are a darker blue with a more faded filled in star. i wont include the eyes of every single character to prove my point but trust me i looked at them all. the only exception seems to be pierro but since he doesnt have an in-game model yet and he wasnt shown super clearly in the trailer im unsure what to make of it for now so i wont include it.

one of the first things generally noticed about kaeya's design once you look into it a little is that he somewhat resembles cryo abyss mages, most notably the fur coat he keeps thrown over his shoulder, the "bunny ears" in his hair (ahoge?) but most of the resemblance comes from playstyle.

in playstyle he's similar in the sense that he teleports on his fifth attack, his ult is similar to the icicles they produce after their shield is broken, he produces his own shield at c4 etc.

(EDIT: i somehow forgot including abyss heralds here, which is insane of me considering that i was always under the impression that if kaeya does turn out to be an abyss monster its definitely more likely to be a herald/lector. i dont necessarily think that he is but there are similarities!)

As for abyss heralds, he does also have a similar design element with the Frost Fall one! Despite being a minor similarity i think its worth pointing out , but they do have kind of similar lapel things, the herald has those wing like things both in the front and back , similar to kaeya's "clipped" wings, that appear under the full wing and in the front of his outfit as well

(fun fact, when i found out they're going to release a cryo abyss herald i was so excited and kept prolonging the fight with it in the quest so i can see if it has similar attack patterns to kaeya) (it does, he does a couple slash attacks that look like kaeya's normal attacks)

one crazy thing also is his cape looks a lot like the top part of the celestial nails and the bottom part of the statues of the seven, and weirdly enough parts of paimons outfits.

a lot of people theorize the log in screen is the enterance to celestia, and that the nails in dragonspine and the chasm are fallen pillars from there. for someone from a godless nation its sort of weird that he seems to have that connection to something celestial huh? this part of the design is also included in his special dish in the skewer itself. (he also marks the mushroom with an eight pointed star as opposed to the x on the regular one)

other than celestian, mondstadtian, khaenri'ahn themes in his outfit, he also has fatui ones! on the front side of the cape we can see that it attaches to a fur thing that covers kaeya's lapels. i have no idea how this attaches or if its just thrown on top, but this design choice is distinctly fatui, weirdly enough. specifically in the style of the attire of the fatui harbingers coats or official ware when they're gathered. i related it distinctly to pierro before but after getting a good look at capitano's model its more fatui, though there's some things that are similar distinctly between kaeya and pierro.

most distinctly, the fur and the lapels being in a very similar shape which is the part that's distinctly fatui, the mask/eyepatch over the right eye as well a strikingly differently colored strand of hair being distinct to pierro and kaeya.

there's a kind of gap in the middle of pierro's chest part of the outfit that somewhat resembles the one kaeya has as well. i saw someone point this out on reddit but i cant find the post because it was a while ago but regardless, they brought up the point of it being exactly in the place and shape of where abyss heralds/black serprent knights have an eight-pointed star, which could be a subtle nudge at khaenri'ah as well.

now, i have two ideas of what those similarities could be hinting at.

kaeya is actually a fatui member (which i believe has some sort of merit because of the recent appearances of capitano and some similarties between them in attire and playstyle weirdly enough, as well as a theory ive been getting behind that states that capitano could be/is related to anfortas alberich)

the fatui harbinger design choices are actually inspired by khaenri'ah, which isnt a stretch given that pierro is the founder and director of the fatui harbingers. thus making them look similar to kaeya rather than vice versa.

panning back up a little bit, regarding the silver hair in kaeya, it seems to be expanding to the rest of his hair, in his skin it goes down the length of his braid.

in the webcomic where we flash back to the past a bit, we see kaeya actually doesnt have the little strand of silver over his left ear, as well as when we return to the normal time setting of the comic, its also not included in his icy featherflight splash art (this 100% could be a stretch on my part they could've just forgot about it its a small strand) (while we're talking about stretches, my biggest one is that childe has a similar streak in his hair lol but that might be going toooo far)

last but not least, his vision, one of the most interesting things about his whole characters. a person from a nation that actively defied the gods recieving a sign of their recognition seems like kind of a threat doesnt it? and its all the more ominous that his vision casing is different from every other mondstadt casing!

this is the back of kaeya's vision next to the back of diluc's vision for comparison, the only notable things are the lack of a third wing probably signifying he's sort of out of place, and the swirl? wave? whatever you wanna call it is on the wrong side. every other character with a double sided vision has the swirl on the other side like jean, diluc, mona, eula, lisa (etc..? i havent seen anyone else with a double sided vision which is also interesting, at least from mond)

however!! weirdly enough, in the 3.8 summer event where kaeya gets his skin, his vision actually gets a different casing, as you can see he gets his full three wings, as well as an extra spike! but not really an extra spike because the vision is just on top of another thing that makes it look like it has a third spike, but the wing is actually there. the genshin fashion archive isnt updated with kaeya's skin so i cant check if there's a swirl, even though the vision isnt even double sided in the skin which is also really weird to me.

im pretty sure ive covered most things, if anyone has any additions please let me know! id love to look into them.

i think kaeya is a really interesting character who's incredibly centered around foreshadowing in the way he carries himself and his backstory, so to think that they managed to extend the foreshadowing bit into even his design is a little bit insane imo.

Summary: Kane came back from his special operation but something was off with him.

Kane has been away for months now, you could still remember all the times you two talked about it.

You didn't wanted him to go, what if something bad would happen to him?

You miss him so much.

Everyday, atleast once you two did a phone call or facetime to see and hear eachother.

Kane did miss you just as much as you missed him, perhaps even more than you did.

But Kane's phone calls have stopped a few days ago and you were scared if something has happened to him.

Since then, you had trouble falling asleep, your mind was pre-occupied with Kane.

Another night sleeping without your Kane. This time your sleep was deeper than most times.

Deep in slumber, you started feeling a small tingling sensation on your shoulder. It felt too real to be a dream. The tingling had creeped its way towards the crook of your neck, causing you to smile and stir out of sleep.

After opening your sleepy eyes, you were met with familiar brown ones, his face was neutral but he had a faint smile on his face. Immediately you started smiling, realizing he's real.

"Kane?"

His smile widened slightly. "Hey, beauty."

Unable to contain your excitement, you sat up and hugged him tightly.

"Kane I missed you so freaking much!"

"Missed you more, it was unbearable without you out there." His arms came around you, his warm hands slowly traveled up your back.

Resting your head on his shoulder, you noticed something on your bedside table - Orange juice.

Kane noticed you eyeing the Orange juice.

"I know you like it, so I thought I bring it to you once I would return."

You smile, "Kane," you pulled back "please, you returning was the only thing I wished for."

Kane gently pulled away to stand up. "I'll go get myself something to drink, okay?"

Without waiting for your answer, he left.

Without thinking nothing too much about it, you went for the kitchen too after a minute, spotting Kane at the dining table with a glass of water.

When Kane noticed you, there was a very faint, yellow-ish glimmer in his eyes, which you thought nothing about it given the late time in the middle of the night.

Sitting down beside him, resting your cheek on his shoulder and wrapping one arm around him, you were just glad Kane was back.

"Did everything end up as planned?" you couldn't help but ask.

His fingers around the glass tightened slightly but relaxed just as quickly. "Yeah... it went surprisingly well..." he drawled.

"Nothing too dangerous or complicated?"

"There were some, let's say... things you wouldn't normally see." he said calmly, but there was some tension behind it.

"Top secret stuff?" you smiled.

He chuckled softly. "Well, if you want to call it that, then yes."

Kane wrapped his arm around you, pulling you into his side. "What do you say, wanna go back to bed? I just missed you so much you can't believe it."

With a nod, you got up, Kane following you back to the bedroom. Once there, you slipped back under the covers while Kane got undressed.

"Since you couldn't bear me being away for so long, how about we catch up?" He smiled, moving ontop of you.

"Aren't you supposed to be tired?" you chuckle.

"How could I be tired when I know my sweet girl is waiting for me to come back after months of only having herself?" Kane grins, moving lower, gently pulling your panties off and spreading your thighs.

Hi! Not gonna lie I was a bit disappointed that you believe the birthday gate stuff... The Duffers wouldn't have admitted to have made a mistake if that were the case. And most of all, it would've come up in volume 2! Now if something happens in S5 it would just feel like they came up with it during the 3 years between S4 and S5. They can say it was planned all they want, people would call bullshit, and rightfully so. I'm sorry I can not believe how anyone can think birthday gate could be a real thing. Not to mention it doesn't even make any sense. Please bylers let's just accept the Duffers made a mistake!!

the duffers are sneaky snakes who want us to analyze and always be looking for little details. they have literally said there are no coincidences in the show.

so yes, i completely believe that they would go out of their way to lie in order to save the surprise for s5. i mean actually think about it, if it really was just a mistake, why would they not just fix it?? they have the full power to just do a little voiceover edit and boom, problem solved. they explained exactly how they'd do it. but they didn't. 2 years have passed and they still haven't changed it when that little tweak would literally solve all their problems if it really was a mistake.

they lied. they're liars.

since when does every single problem have to be solved in one season?? do you know what show you're watching??

there are hints and foreshadowing all over the seasons. vecna is foreshadowed in s1 ep1 when will's door was opened with telekinesis, and we had no idea he existed until 6 years and 3 seasons later.

in s1 they don't fully explain how will was communicating with joyce. but after s4 everything clicks into place.

they show us that will can clearly hear her and is finding a way to make the lights light up. then in ep 8 they show joyce and hopper making the christmas lights light up as they walk through the byers upside down house. jonathan sees this and asks if it's joyce, and joyce hears him.

that isn't addressed AT ALL in s2 or s3. it is fully explained and explored in s4, when nancy steve eddie and robin are stuck in the upside down. they fully show us how it works and acknowledge that it was how will communicated with joyce.

the creators knew exactly how the light upside down stuff worked the entire show. but it wasn't time for it to be explained just yet. it was meant to come up later on. it's a masterful way to write a story with longevity.

stranger things teaches you to never just write something off. everything is important. don't let it go just because it hasn't been fully explained. there will be payoff.

s4 is all about memories and trauma and feeling isolated from others. we also literally learn there is a powerful monster man who can read minds and enter other people's memories, just like el can. so i don't see how it's so outlandish to think there's some memory fuckery going on.

of course we can't explain exactly why or how, because it hasn't been adressed yet. you have to wait for the pay off.

they are saying "yes it's still his birthday so get hyped for s5 where it'll be addressed" every way they can without spelling it out for you.
