#I somewhat plan on doing the others (I already have the ideas for vbs and l/n) but seeing how far I progressed with gog? yeah...#anyways long ramble ahead (Main reason for this post ngl)#Minori is a normal brown checkered feral pigeon with some pied markings. Brain simply told me street rat and I complied #additionally she has grouse cuz fuzzy peet like boots but no slippers #Haruka is a black colored Lahore (with a exaggerated blue sheen) mainly because Haruka is giving fancy breed and Lahore resemble penguins #Airi is a ash-red wild type feral mix that has a bit of valencia figurita in it (street rat but small was the idea in my peanut sized brain #her beak is cross to somehow translate Airis fang in a interesting way. I could've just made the beak pointier but that's not flashy enough #Shizuku is a fantail with blue t-check wingshields cuz its a obvious choise. Imo the most impressive thing Leo’s done is hold this pose for as long as he did while covered head to toe in gold paint:

Uhhhh anyway I am going insane over @loudclan-clangen and the newest update??? I’ve been following this story for uh. A while now I think. But after the latest update and the Everything that Wildfirecry got up to I was smacked VERY HARD with the visual of him ending up with an apron of blood instead of his usual apron of oil. Aaaand here we are.

Love how I managed to make clangen fanart before an actual moon of my own clangen story. adhd be like that. (If you like my artstyle and want to see what I do when I get up to it it’s @as-the-raven-cries-wolf bc RavenClan as a blog name was taken lol)

Some alternate versions below the cut! Hope you enjoy!

The first one was supposed to be a discord-friendly version bc discord gets fussy when I use too much detail, the second one is me drawing out his oil apron before I turned it into a blood one. It was really interesting trying to translate D’s style and design sensibilities nicely into the way I draw cats, the tufting and more squared-off jaw especially, but it was really fun, picking and choosing what and how to translate, and some things to just keep the same (like the eyes, with a little thematic twist).

I have a lot of scatterbrained design notes for each of them but generally I wanted them to look similar to their original designs but with different themes. I also imagine that they have the same inscribing tools as their original counterparts but just use them differently (i.e. Magnificus paints animals, Leshy takes pictures of people as they're dying/about to die, I'm not sure what the magic equivalent for P03 would be besides maybe a spellbook that copies the essence of things, and Grimora's quill would either "write" code or write directly onto the hardware of robots).
