thinking about josh and munch today.

just some domestic thoughts:

imagine watching national geographic while he’s cooking dinner (i’m thinking the show about animal kingdom). he’s giving his commentary from the kitchen as he cooks, you’re chatting back and forth as you watch, he pops his head in to coo at the baby hippo named greta when you told him to hurry up and come see. when he hears you gasp and shout “no!” he comes rushing over to the living room, apron and spatula in hand and giggles at your reaction to the big hippos bullying baby greta on the television.

when the two of you are basking in your free time, he’s on the couch reading a book, your feet are resting on his thighs while you paint your toe nails. josh mindlessly taps his fingers on your foot. you two are in your own little world, but it’s so comforting for josh to have you close to him, even if you’re doing two different tasks.

it’s been said before, but he loves nothing more than sitting on the toilet seat while you shower / take a bath. he sometimes will chat with you about anything and everything, or just sit and bask in each others presence. when he gets bored he loves going through all your skin care items and asking what everything is and how to use it. he will ask if he can try it with you sometime.

going grocery shopping would be a blast. he wouldn’t want to plan for any meals, he always says that inspiration will strike him at the store which makes you guys spend way more time at the store than necessary.

watching a sad tv show with him.. (i’m thinking episode three of the last of us specifically) and holding each other while crying your eyes out.. you both wipe each others tears away and giggle at one another for crying.

you and josh washing dishes together.. he washes and you dry. he bumps hips with you, and will whip your bum with the wet wash cloth just to see you jump

him sitting in the bathroom with you while you put on makeup to go out. he watches you pull out a shimmery eyeshadow and instantly perks up. he shyly asks if you’ll put a little bit on him. so you do, and add a little mascara and he can’t stop looking at himself in the mirror because he loves how sparkly his eyelids look, and how they really bring out his baby cow eyes.
