I just read the fic you just posted and loved it, but it led me back to one of my favorite fics i read before i ever *played* Mass Effect (i played the whole trilogy in two weeks last month) and i have to say, Bait and Switch remains one of my favorite “fake dating to real dating” fics ever, especially now that i have context for it

Bait and Switch is one of those fics I wrote in like an intense weekend. Once I got the idea, I couldn't stop writing it. Shepard and Garrus are so good at being idiots to lovers.

i like to think that Dave from Dave and Muko is before the PRAEM was built. that’s why he’s so… chaotic? compared to the other interpretations of him, such as in Vs Dave and Bambi and Dave’s house. That part of Expunged was still in him. He probably didn’t know it was there. I like to think his personality changed a TON after the whole PRAEM thing- both from trauma and because of Expunged and him being separated… and Expunged kinda taking the chaotic energy with her.

Ouch Hotfix 4

I lost four and a half hours of gameplay after this moment. But I guess it all worked out because I was waffling over redoing how to deal with Auntie to minimize approval losses with Astarion. And don't get me started on the cut ! after that whole hot bloody mess. I'm going to miss that schadenfreude moment with him from early access. Part of me is so done with Act 1 because come Act 2 there will at least be no more moments of "Oh no, that got cut?"
