TxT and Fluffy Hair: a wonderful relationship~ Part 4: A Squirrel named Terry 🐿️

Author's note: repetitia iuvant. This post is biased, don't expect something objective. If you'll see other idols mentioned here is only as examples not for comparing them. The analysis are inspired by Michaela Diana's works on Instagram. The photos on this post are all taken from TxT's official accounts. No fantaken photos.

Hello everyone, welcome back here on this amazing series where I talk about my love for curly/perm hair, also known as The Floof. Must admit, I'm a little sad while writing this post since we're almost at the end of this journey with TxT members. I really wanted this series to never end 😭

But the show must go on, so I'll go with the second last member left, someone who wasn't supposed to have The Floof but he demonstrated to us that NO, he can have The Floof and even looking good with it.

My dear readers, I'm talking about...

* drums roll *

TAEHYUN!

Yeah I know he's beautiful please don't die while watching the pic 🫠

Oh Terry, Terry, precious beautiful Terry, did I already tell you that you have a beautiful English na-wait a second, this is the wrong post...

So, in the introduction I told you that Taehyun wasn't supposed to receive The Floof and you wonder why, since he looks beautiful with it. Well, let's see his face and you'll understand why.

Well, starting from the face shape, Taehyun seems to have a square/rectangular shape. And...well, I'm sorry, but this shape doesn't fit at all with The Floof. If your face shape has a rectangular, square or even a diamond shape, there's an high percentage that The Floof will not work for you. But you'll look beautiful with short, straight hair tho (think about San from Ateez for example, he's probably one the best candidates for short hair. He's always beautiful with short haircuts and he has a rectangular/diamond face shape 🥴).

But Tae looks beautiful with The Floof so...why? Well, we should thank his blunt jawline, which gives him enough roundness and softness for The Floof.

His eyes are round, which is another good feature for The Floof. And they're also big, which means that he can have long bangs and I would not complain because I can still see his eyes despite that. Hallelujah, finally I've found someone who can have long bangs!

And the full cheeks? You don't even need to answer, he has them. Especially when he's wearing makeup, you can easily find those squishy squirrel cheeks.

So yeah, despite the face shape, Taehyun can have The Floof. HOORAY! You can celebrate Tae!

Ok, now that we understood that Tae has a good shape for The Floof you're probably asking which kind of haircut suits him the best.

Well, uhm, what if I tell you that I already know which kind of haircut suits him perfectly? And that haircut is taken from the third H:OUR photobook? :3

If your future partner will not come at your wedding dressed like this, you can leave them. Seriously.

I don't know how many of you will disagree on this but seriously, he looks so beautiful and ethereal here. This haircut is honestly one of the best renditions of The Floof for him, I can't imagine another perfect haircut on him.

And the colour? Oh well, honestly I can understand if you'll disagree with me. Tae has gone through different colours and there are many of them which fit him perfectly: blonde, silver, black, brown, pink, peach, there are too many colours to choose. In my opinion tho, his best colour will always be red.

I'm biased ok? Red is one of my favourite colours and seeing someone from my ultimate groups looking so good with it is the ultimate blessing. And as you can see here, Tae looks good with every shade of red. Now imagine him with the H:OUR haircut and red...it would be perfect. Perfect.

And that's it. We reached the end. As you've noticed, Tae is what it could be an exception, someone who destroyed some of my personal rules for The Floof and looked beautiful with it regardless. Now we're towards the end, there's only one member left. How will be his relationship with The Floof?

I have been consuming Zack Lives AUs and would like to offer the headcannon: Zack keeps a habit of taking initiative for transporting Cloud to places even after Cloud wakes up. Usually grabbing and leading Cloud places, but sometimes ends up with Zack full on hoisting Cloud over his shoulder and starts walking.

Sukuna is Peak Gap Moe. I’ll never be over this. This bastard talks tough, eats people, and kills like a woodchipper and yet…he is a poetic little sap. Getting mad over an improper haikus, the misidentification of flowers…and confessing his feelings to Gojo Satoru under several layers of wordplay no one except those well-versed in ancient Japanese would catch.

I've been over this in greater detail in Sukuna's Negative Rizz, but @tangsakura added more context in the replies to that post, making Sukuna's use of 凡夫 (bonpu) for Gojo even gayer.

In summary, 凡夫 (bonpu) can be translated as painfully ordinary or unenlightened. But in the individual kanji readings, 凡 is mediocre and 夫 is husband. You could read this as Sukuna calling Gojo his mediocre husband. And that's just the modern readings! The ancient readings...

So you can read this line from Sukuna as the following:

“You were born in an era without me and hailed as 'The Strongest'

1) And yet you turned out to be…painfully ordinary.”

2) And yet you turned out to be…unenlightened.”

3) And yet you turned out to be…a mediocre husband/wife/spouse.”

4) And yet you turned out to be…the ordinary one who could stand by my side.”

Sukuna seems to be saying these things all at once. (It’s no different than the Megumi Activities wordplay he uses with Enchain. Alt. link if the Twitter dies.) Gojo apparently makes him feel very conflicted. He’s boring, he can do better, he shouldn’t even call himself the Honored One, he’s his equal, they’re married. The irony here is that no one except Sukuna can understand this.
