Let's start with the #1 fashion icon herself - Bria. I think Bria's had a few eras that represent her style very well. Of course, pre-royal times (Look 1 +5) but even then she was figuring herself out. I'd say pre-SimDonia when she lived in Simerica still with Emmitt and all the kids is like the most she's ever dressed the way she wanted (Look 2, 3, 6, 7).

Our girl likes to show a little skin and dress for her figure, but still be professional and of course just glamourous as hell. Back then while she was still a royal, the reigns were the loosest they'd ever been in terms of dress code since she was in Simerica and Spencer didn't have strict royals for dress.

Look 4 is what I made for this before I realized she had some style moments that explained this well. She definitely wishes she could wear something like this!

Of course, I also had to do Diana! I thought this was funny because it's so different than Bria. Diana rarely gets to be comfortable and she wishes that she would toss the skirt and put on some sweats everyday. Even at home at the Palace, she has to be mindful of the staff. Look 1 was when she was on maternity leave so she got to be more casual. Look 3 is from a state visit where she hiked with the Komorebian royal fam. The middle look is her ideal look. Sorry Diana, but time to grab the slacks lol

posted this on twt but god. i have talked a lot about how insane phi's character is to me but it's just. i will never get over how for most of both vlr and ztd she's relatively cold and unemotional but ztd has moments where she just. breaks. i.e. the shoot:live option of fire where she literally breaks down crying and can barely get a sentence out even BEFORE diana kills herself. or in the final decision when she fucking YELLS at delta and kicks him in the face not even out of reasons like with dio but out of sheer anger for everything he's put her though. like IDK. i fold easily for the "unemotional character is pushed to their breaking point and shows MUCH more emotion than usual" trope but its so fucking interesting. phi i love you we will get you therapy

Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

usually my headcanon for spencer has been either bigender or unlabelled but Not Cis. but sometimes I think about genderfluid spencer where diana might not always know that she has a child, but when she does, she always knows if she has a son or daughter.

Is there a story behind muzzled Diana? I kind of got the itch to maybe try and write a drabble (not to publish. I wouldn't do that without express permission) to go with it. However I don't want to write anything without knowing the story that goes along with it.

You can't convince me that Lawrence wouldn't absolutely adore Abigail. That he wouldn't dote on her, give her all sorts of presents and treats when Adam takes her away from their parents.

But I do think he'd struggle. Diana is still a very young girl, and Abigail is an extremely traumatised, young adult. While he's not aware of what happened back in Minnesota (he hasn't been told and Wong push) he has no idea how to handle a teenaged girl/young adult, so he has to just make it up as he goes along, asking Alison and Google for advice every now and then.

He'd try to engage in her love of art, take her to art museums and purchase matching merchandise for her and Adam. She'd wake up in the middle of the night from another nightmare, and unlike Lawrence (ever the night owl) would see her shaking form standing in the hallway and simply offer her some tea. He just wants to make her feel safe and loved because he does grow to love her as if she were his own.

And Abigail would be weary, taken aback of course. But slowly her protective walls start to fall around her. She becomes more talkative, once robotic and quick replies are replaced with genuine emotion and lengthy replies. She'll find out the sort of interests Lawrence is into. Old westerns are one of them, and she saves a good amount of money from her new job to buy VHS of some of the greats, which would be the first time Lawrence hugs her, and they both melt into each other's embrace. Then cut to Adam absolutely bawling his eyes out (literally me).

i think some of the more interesting ztd fragments are jnes where someone is missing. suspicion - junpei of all people is missing in the pantry. surely nothing went that bad, right? mind the totally fake arms and legs. there's nothing wrong with that. nothing would happen between carlos and akane! look, they're fine having a conversation right now, right? now what's behind that pantry door? and this is where it falls apart - trust falls apart, gives way to emotion. junpei is a part of the puzzle itself

pop off with the pod room - everything is fine, for now, right? never mind that mira isn't here. don't open the pods. surely her method of death wouldn't have anything to do with anything eric knows either. surely not. in one timeline, all of q-team dies there.

transporter with the transporter room and locker room - unlike the others where it's the revelation of a dead body, phi's got barely any body left to begin with. she's reduced to nothing more than a pile of ash - and unlike the others, you get to see it. there's a timeline where she doesn't, timelines where all of d-team survives or just she does, but now all that's left is her broach. a gift from diana. she haunts the rooms in her absence as junpei and mira do, but in a different way - some of these areas even related to her own creation. her own birth. the transporter room pods which are alien and foreign, with pods like cocoons, and the grubby locker room that she and delta are born in.
