Zack has love for Aerith but at this point he knows she is in love with Cloud, and in his incredible emotional maturity, he lets her go free. (Zack really is the best.)

Cloud is in love with Aerith but, at this point in the story, doesn't know if she still has feelings for Zack. Then Aerith just sings him a full-on love ballad and, even through his insecurities, he can't hide that he wants to hold her close. She is in his heart. Much like the lyrics in Hollow specify, Cloud does not want to let Aerith go.

If you still doubt who the canon couple is... you are ignoring very blatantly obvious clues.

I don't mean to bash people who prefer Cloud with Tifa. My issue is not that people ship them. My issue is that some (the great majority) Cloti shippers insist that they are the canon couple, when they clearly aren't. This deliberate blindness frustrates me, because it shows that people are willing to ignore the obvious to cater to their personal wishes.

If you ship Cloti I have nothing against you. At all. If you cannot accept the fact that Tifa IS the optional choice, put in there for the player — not for Cloud... then I doubt there's anything I can say to make you see things more objectively.

At the end of the day, just ship and let ship.

...but I feel like this is not just a "I'd have two nickels," situation, I think Renji really is the designated shouter for situations where everyone wants to stand around and do a two-page spread look cool. Is it because he won the All-Gotei Trash Talking Championship, or is this one of those things like tenteikura and opening senkaimon that are just traditional lieutenant duties? He's the only lieutenant present in the first situation. In the second, and in the second, he's the only lieutenant whose...captain is present?

He's also very tall and projects well. Ikkaku is also good at hollerin', but he this happens two panels later, so it's unsurprising that he's been banned from spokesperson duties:

But for a more direct answer, yes, she did go to Mustafar. Most of ROTS went the same way it did in this AU except for Padmé's death. Then she spent some years hidden 'working' with the rebels, although her main goal was to end Palpatine and recover whatever is left of her husband.

And yeah, they look goofy as hell and they are, most of the time, but that's because I haven't (yet) showed their deep messe-up-ness, the inherent messe-up-ness of a couple that took over the galaxy and in which one of them almost murdered the other and out of guilt will accept anything what's asked of him and will endure any torture, and in which the other now has complete control over the other. Although I did touch it a bit on this one. Like, this might be redundant, but the empress padmé AU is just the evil version of anidala, which means they're still dumb as hell and extremelly in love, but now there's (more)murder and a weird hierarchy between them, in a way is very tragic actually, because they fell back into the dynamics they pretty much avoided (Padmé being in charge, Anakin being less than her), but it's safe, and it's something they know and it's something they both can play pretty well, and they both know they love each other madly and do try to be the best they can for the other.

I have come to the conclusion in my head that airbenders literally have had to had the most angelic voices, they are the best singers by far compared to any nation and they don’t even have to try, it just comes with the territory. If an airbender decides to practice singing they can become even better, if they practice enough they can even use airbending to sing, which would allow them to do literally magic with their voices. So from this we can infer is that naturally Aang has to be a hell of a singer, even so he would much rather just stick with dancing (I have dancing headcanons for all the nations BTW). However when bumi is born and is about a few months old this baby can’t fall asleep, there is some nights that by some miracle he would fall asleep at his bedtime and sleep through the night, but he would wake up at four am BAWLING. On a normal night bumi just doesn’t stop crying and katara is absolutely exhausted she just came from one of the most stressing days in the clinics and she just can’t deal with bumi at the moment. Aang notices and tells katara to get some rest and that he will deal with bumi by himself, some time passes and bumi just doesn’t stop, there are moments where he calms down to then start crying his eyes out again, Aang has done absolutely everything, he is constantly carrying bumi around, he is giving him food, he is hugging and kissing bumi, he is talking to him, nothing seems to work. By this point aang has become numb to the cry’s and honestly at this point he is very tired and just decides to sit down with bumi in his arms and wait it out, I mean he eventually HAS to fall asleep, right? Well Aang gets pretty bored about just sitting down and hearing Bumi cry so he begins to hum to himself, he hummed this song he had heard an orchestra play at a work dinner. Unexpectedly baby bumi calms down a little when he hears aang hum, as Aang notices he begins to hum a little louder and notices bumi calmed down completely. He continues shocked when he sees bumi even begin to get sleepy, when he runs out of the melody he begins to sing songs that were sung to him at the temples when he was a little boy. To this bumi finally falls asleep.

Cloud’s interest in the piano in Rebirth feels so random and sudden, but I like to think it’s his subconscious trying to draw him closer to Tifa. Like his true self is trying to jog these very old childhood memories from when he and Tifa were friends, before he pulled away from her. Days of running back and forth to each other’s houses, when Tifa’s mom was still alive and teaching Tifa to play the piano. Cloud used to listen to Tifa play piano when they were little kids as, if you perform well in Tifa’s Nibelheim quest (My White-Haired Angel), he remarks that she sounds a lot better than he remembers lol It also feels very pointed that our introduction to the piano mini game is through Cloud’s flashback of Tifa’s room, and that the only time these mini game skills really matter for the player is during Tifa’s side quest, when she plays the piano in (the exact replica of) her room for the first time since she was a kid.
