i think perhaps another layer of autism in jacks character is that he’s fine with being different, but is always upset to be treated or perceived differently.

#i want to make this longer but I’m tired and i wanna finish my drawing #does this make a SMIDGE of sense #cal.txt #spn #supernatural #jack kline #autistic jack kline #autism experiences #autistic coded character #like he outwardly defines his identity as the son of Lucifer/a hunter/a Winchester #he’s often prideful of his powers & strengths but instantly ashamed if they’re perceived as weird or wrong #sam dean & cas are basically a support system for him in the same way as many other autistic support systems #they’re consistently accepting of him as he is—even when dean didn’t necessarily like him he still just took jacks mannerisms as they were #or the fact that jack decided to be that age right from the womb? they’re like ‘okay sure whatever that’s his own thing’#the offered reassurances that he’s not any less of a person bc of his difference #that they’re all weird in their own ways and it just doesn’t matter #he can accept that he’s not fully human and his father is the Supreme Agent Of All Evil #this is about don’t go into the woods btw. that episode is like Peak autism but in a bad painful curl up and rotting way #re the original script: ‘he’s back to being the oddball again’#read: he doesn’t LIKE being the oddball #he knows that he’s fundamentally different and not normal and he can accept that #i mean his state of demigodhood is basically like being born with bad eyesight #it’s like the difference between being used to and accepting of bad eyesight vs being called four eyes #is that a good analogy idk . one of the things that kept me away from the alien films for so long was terms like "freudian" and "psychosexual" being used in discussion about them, with the explication that the true horror was sex and pregnancy. i was pleasantly surprised to find that the only cases of "pregnancy horror" were that the writers clearly flunked both sex ed and basic biology.

#pregnancy is only incorporated like four times throughout the series and all of them are laughably absurd #and no getting implanted with a parasite is not analogous to pregnancy you absolute clowns i'm revoking your license #as for the sex aspect. xenomorphs don't even reproduce sexually. you buffoons.#<- @ everyone i'd ever heard talk about these movies #the animal lover in me wants desperately to know the full life cycle of the ridiculous murder alien #but i understand why they'll probably never give us that

trying to figure out elemental magic

ideia 1: standard four elements. (thus, magic doesn’t encompass every single thing since not everything can be fit into these four elements. consequentially, there is a division between magic things and non-magic things)

1a: even things that would otherwise fits these elements can be categorized in magic and non magic. ie. magic fire x normal fire.

1b: everything consisting of these elements is magic, and everything that is not is “non-magic”. ie. every fire and water is magic. everything that is not composed by fire, water or the other elements is not magic.

note: does the magic/non magic division work like organic matter vs non organic matter? would then magic stuff consist of quintessence and thus have similar properties as souls? is that why animas are elemental? do then the animas not contain one’s cycle but rather influence it, defining its inertia?

1c: there are not only four elements, but five or six or more instead

ideia 2: standard four elements, but each element doesn’t only represent itself, but also an entire realm of associated elements and charactersitics, like a videogame skill tree. ie: “fire magic” doesn’t encompass just fire itself, but also light, passion, heat and life. earth magic could also encompass death, sand, gravity, toughness, generosity and srenght.

ideia 3: the elements don’t represent actual things in nature, but rather more vague things: ie. gas, liquid, solid matter, energy, plasma, etc. could work well with the whole ~circle of nature~ thing.
