You've decided to call out this time. You don't know why you did but the white room you were situated in won't let you leave further. You call out his name, you don't know this name and many amongst this plane don't know it either but... You can't help the words catching and then leaving your vocals.

Static stirs against the screen, it's blurry and hard to make out but you are sure you see something, you feel like you see someone. The static takes a shape. Moulding into a recognizable stature, a familiar flare of fabric that brushes and relaxes amongst the ground with it's own gravity. You crane to see further into the screen and the shape defines itself. He stares back at you, one purple and red, a diamond shape lightly glittering against the distortion. The words fall from your mouth again and he blinks confusedly.

"Y-yy-you..c-c-can...s-s-see m-mEe?" You nod, even through the choppy visage, he looks rather surprised.

"O-oh! W-w-well I-i-i guess i-i-i-f y-ou c-can, I c-c-c-can answer I g-g-guess.. w-w-weird q-questIOn t-though K-Kid." You can't help your distaste towards his words, is he mocking you? Too stat-icky or just not enough interference, he continues regardless if you're listening or not.

"Hh-hh-had o-o-one b-but u-u-uh, maybe w-w-worry a-Bout th-Aat ano-nother d-d-ay." His voice sounds even more crunchy, what's going on!? Dammit, the reception cut out...

Guess you'll have to try another time. Maybe he was busy? Seemed pretty preoccupied there last minute.

I'm happiest if I know that the story I write is in some way meaningful to those that read it, because it's deeply healing for me and I only hope to be able to share even a bit of that same comfort when I post each chapter. VBEOW has definitely grown into a mammoth in terms of size and complexity (and sometimes I worry xD) but I love it as much - if not more! - as I did at the very beginning. T_T Unfortunately evne though I want to write only fluff and smut there also has to be some periodic "going through the horrors"... good thing you guys don't mind xD
