1305 - Tragedy arrives
Zymmer Family -> England/Germany
After spending some time at Henry and Clarice's home with their little girl, Estrid and Wick decided to move to Germany at the start of the year with the dowry that belongs to Estrid's marriage.
Short after they lived there, Estrid announced that she was pregnant again. The little girl was named Feme Zymmer and she was healthy after the labour.
TW death: Sadly, three months after the childbirth, Feme died because of SIDS leaving her whole family heartbroken.
Little Margrite aged up into a healthy and rambuctious toddler, bringing more aliveness to the house.
Carpenter Family -> England
The year started in the worst possible way.
TW death: Clarice was feeling really bad during the whole pregnancy, and when there were only a few days until the labour, she was feeling really ill and Henry ran to get the doctor as soon as he could. Henry warned Reynilda about the situation and she went from Ireland to England to be with his sister during this difficult times.
When he arrived, he announced that Clarice had typhoid fever and she won't make it alive. All was lost for Clarice, but the babies could be safe, so the doctor took them out. They were twins, a boy and a girl.
Henry named them Morris and Amphelice Carpenter.
TW death: But tragedy didn't left the house so quickly. A few days later after Clarice's death, Henry was walking in the wood when a lightning storm started out of nowhere. He ran home, but didn't make it due to the strike of a lightning.
His body was sent back home the morning after by a man who was hunting. The carpenter marriage was all gone in the passing of this year.
Months later, baby Amphelice was diagnosed with a lung disease making breathing really difficult for her. She passed away when she was 5 months old. Her twin brother Morris made it all the way to infanthood.
Driftwood Family -> ENGLAND
When Henry wrote Reynilda about Clarice's situation, she didn't think twice and went all way back to England to help the family. There, she found out that she was pregnant again.
When Henry and Reynilda died, she found herself looking after three kids: two newborns and an infant. She started to take care of them and the farm while the pregnancy moved forward.
After taking everything into consideration, she wrote a letter to her husband Tally telling him everything and suggesting that they should live in England again with Tome and take care of their sister's babies.
TW death: Tally agreed and he moved there with Tome. When he arrived, he found Reynilda at the end of the pregnancy but something was wrong and they needed to get the doctor again. Reynilda lost the two babies that she was expecting due to a miscarriage because of all the pain and all the he went through.
Apart from all the sadness, by the end of the year Clementia Carpenter and Tome Driftwood aged up into a toddler.

So be the deities of the Harpy and the Dragon.
Our Lady Verildis The Dragon God, may she dance on the sky, is a Goddess of many faces. She represents the sun, fortune, luck, wisdom and intuition, but she also represents trickery, jokes and mischief, rage and rebellion, perseverance and hard roads to travel.
Most often of all, she is a dragon greater than the Earth itself, great enough to wrap herself around The Sun, with scales like pure burning sunset and coy, upturned eyes. But she has many faces, all characterized by her skyline coloring and gleaming yellow eyes. She loves gold and rubies and shiny things to add to her hoard stowed in The Sun.
Our Lady Immilla The Harpy God, may she dance on the sky, is a Goddess of many names. She represents the moon, the sea, art, music, love, life, the seasons and the weather, but also death, melancholy, revenge and mystery.
She is a great harpy whom nests in the craters of the Moon, with iridescent green feathers and long black hair, black as night, and a singing voice so utterly profound it shook tears from mountain tops and created waterfalls. Her favorite name is Immilla, the first ever Gifted to her by her lover, Verildis, but she has many more names, such as Atilia, Tabitha, Amabilis, Amphelice, Invidia, and Wilhelmina. She loves poems and birds and string music, idle things to spend your hours on.

     âThere is no jewel, be it of never so rich a price,       which I set before this jewel; I mean your loveâ
Full name: Amphelice Richerd Years of age: 25 Title / Rank: Marchioness de la Chambre Nationality: French Face claim: Eva Green Availability: Taken
âBiography
Amphelice is the daughter of Franceâs most powerful diplomats and later trader and rich cloth merchants, Marcel Dufort, and one of Catherine deâ Mediciâs former lady in waiting, exquisite beauty, Eliane de Sauve. Growing up, she was a curious girl, lively and spirited, a wanderer, who spent long summers chasing fluttering pites ot prose and poetry and practicing her music and dance. As a child, she was the opposite of sheltered; she was allowed to attend balls and barquets since she was thirteen, never sitting out a dance and spreading her radiant beauty throughout court and Paris. She was also often sent to live with her aunt, Madeleine, in Austria for long summers. There she studied German and piano and met various people that expanded her knowledge of the world. Spoiled and the only child of the diplomat, she was soon sent to attend Catherine deâ Mediciâs schoolroom, where her education covered arithmetic, family genealogy, grammar, history, reading and writing as well as domestic skills. Moreover, she developed a keen interest in fashion, fine arts and religious philosophy, and gained experience in the game of courtly; for her father and uncle (a rich diplomat of his Majesty) had grand plans for her, plans that were soon destroyed. At the age of fifteen, she met and became romantically involved with a charming older man, twenty-three year old Frederic Boulon, an actor and storyteller that approached her at a ball given in Paris. The short-lived affair resulted in her becoming pregnant and when her father found out he had her locked up in her rooms. She remained locked up in her rooms through out her pregnancy, busying herself with reading books, and when her child was born, her father had it sent away from the estate, without even allowing her to hold her. Banished from her fatherâs affections, Amphelice spent the following months in emotional agony, yearning to redeem herself and restore her relationship with her father. The whole experience strengthen her and she built a hard-shell around her and hid her sweet side away. She longed to make a better life for herself. Before her seventeenth birthday, her father married her to the young Baron of Sense, Adam de Bruivere. After the wedding she moved to his estate, hoping that in time she would grow to love her husband. However, her hopes fell flat and even though she dreamed of having a family and a loving husband, she soon discovered that Adam had no care for her. He preferred the company of men and thus neglected his wife. Despite their differences, Amphelice did not betray his secret, not even when rumors spoke of her being barren and thus unable to bear sons. She spent her time helping Adam where she could, and learning the art of botanology and herbs, learning about plants and how to cure illnesses from the estateâs nurse. At the age of twenty-three, she was invited to live and the French court, an invitation she merrily accepted having missed her Godson, Charles IX de Valois and her friend, Elizabeth Rose of Anjou, Duchess of Laval.
Back at court, Amphelice grew more ambitious and bolder, once again wishing to better her life. Soon, she managed to seduce the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Cosimo I deâ Medici. Despite the lack of intimacy in her marriage, she had never laid with a man or had an affair, but now she did. Luring the Grand Duke into her bed and manipulated him into fulfilling her every wish. She was hoping that he would set his wife aside and marry her, making her Grand Duchess âand with that she would restore herself into her fatherâs eyes. Her relationship to the Grand Duke made her an enemy of Isaac Lyttelton and Arianne dâAngelis, King and Queen of Naples who had their differences with her lover. Thinking that he would protect her, and that she could love for him and not just lust Amphelice did her best to keep his affections, and also to help him by stealing important political documents that kept him in debt of the couple. Six months into the relationship and due to the death of his children, however, Cosimo, broke with her, violently attacking, and blaming her for his childrenâs death. Stricken and shocked that he could treat her in such a manner, as well as finding out that both her husband and father had been taken by the plague, Amphelice was left with nothing. She was angry at her self, shamed, and slowly her feelings grew more delicate and she lost her will power, becoming once again her old self. With the plague abated she went to live with her mother in Paris. She spent a long time there and soon she even reached out to the Grand Dukeâs wife, Ophelia, to make amends. The two ended up becoming friends and Amphelice even helped her give birth to her third child when the castle was under attack. During her time of solitude, Amphelice grew fond of the month of the only man who helped her when Cosimo physically attacked her, Nicholas Richerd, Commander of the Royal Armies. For a long time she kept her feelings locked away, fearful of humiliating herself. Eventually she could no longer deny her love of him. She started recovering, her feelings for the Commander and her motherâs return to court helped her out of her misery. She was slowly founding herself again. She aided the Commander once, tending to his battle wounds and helping restore his good health. Soon after that the Commander begun courting her. Not half a year later she got married to the Commander âby far the happiest day of her life. She is now living in their estate, visiting court and worryingly awaiting for her husband to return from the battlefield.
âVirtues & Vices
caring, elegant, sophisticated
stubborn, fiery-tempered, prideful
âRelationships
Nicholas Richerd â Her husband and love of her life. Amphelice has finally found what she has been looking for; a loving husband and her chance to start a family. She loves tending to her husband and their estate, having taken extra care into making their home beautiful, like she has always dreamed of. Charles IX de Valois â Her Godson with whom she has a very loving relationship. Charles is much like her younger brother and she loves taking care of him, guiding him, spending time with him. Given his character, Amphelice is quite concerned about what a King he will be and how he will rule France. Eliane de Sauve â Amphelice is very close to her mother and one could say that they are also friends other than mother and daughter. Eliane has shown her support to her daughter one too many times and even tried to protect her from her fatherâs anger when she was pregnant, begging him for mercy on behalf of her daughter. Elizabeth Rose of Anjou, Kenna Fleming, Annabelle Graillet, Leonardo dâEste, Sebastian de Poitiers â Even though she grew up with Elizabeth and has known her since she was a young child, they have all become very good friends of hers. She has supported them in hard times and vice versa. Aleyna de Lorges â Her cousin and a good friend. Amphelice and Aleyna grew up close to another but after her pregnancy and wedding, they did not get to spend a lot of time together. However, they remained close through the years.

Streets of Paris
@dufort
No longer were the gossips just gossips - for they were true, and Leithâs friend was indeed leaving Court. At their last goodbyes, he made a grave mistake by pushing his toxic lips onto those of hers. Emone. He was punished, the other morning. A head- and stomach ache nailed him to bed that day; a bucket to his side to vent himself from the poisonous liquor heâd been consuming that night. It was no surprise that his terrible hangover spread around Court like the plague, for many maidens were far too shocked to hear him experience such drunkenness.Â
A couple of days passed. The Dauphin of France raised his mug, and the days continued quietly; Leith withholding a secret in the corner of his lips. He didnât wish to tell anyone. Would he, if so offered, accept a job outside of the French Court? If he had no other option? Yes... Yet he felt betrayed by a friend, no matter how much he wished for Emone to be as happy as she could be. The Marquise de la Chambre. Lady Richerd. Amphelice. The King and Charles were her godsons. Was she the key to his redemption? Perhaps not. Yet he wished to tell Emone himself that he was exquisitely sorry for his terrible behavior.
He walked the gardens, plucking distilling roses - their scent sticking to his muddy fingers; for heâd been working today. Lady Amphelice should be drinking tea outside, or brushing the horses; if the guards were right. Seeing a Lady stand in the distance, suiting the vague memories he carried once he saw her every once in a while, he walked up close - still carrying the rose in his hand.Â
âmâLady,â he spoke once he reached her, bowing at her sight. âI donât think weâve met.â He held out the rose, looking the fair lady in the eye before he continued. âMy name is Leith Bayard. Iâm the Dauphinâs bodyguard. Your godson.â

Emone does not like for people to see her cry. She never has. Growing up, her siblings knew that after an argument theyâd be able to find her hiding in the hayloft, where no-one could see her.
The palace doesnât have a hayloft. There is a stable, but thatâs too busy to serve as a secret hideaway. There is always at least one stable-hand on duty, and then there are the nobles fetching their horses or bringing them back... No, Emone canât hide there.
In between jobs, sheâs been knitting a pair of booties for Manonâs baby. If she finishes them before the birth, she had thought she might knit a little hat, and maybe a blanket. She hasnât told anyone about the pregnancy, except Nicholas. No-one can know. If they can just keep it a secret until the baby is born, it can be put up for adoption, or given away to a family who can take care of it. Emone had hoped sheâd be able to find her sister a husband so that they could pretend the baby was his, but Manon is beginning to show now. No man would be so foolish as to fall for it.
The head-maid had approached her while she was working on the booties that evening and said that she had to be gone by the next morning. Out of the palace, with all of her belongings, for good. When she asked why, the woman just shook her head;Â âBecause youâre with child,â sheâd said.
And Emone couldnât say that the booties werenât for her. Because looking in from the outside, things must look suspicious. Because Emone found it so hard to connect with other women, which meant most of her friends were men. They must think she's sleeping with at least one of them. She's spent so much time with Jonathan recently because he's sweet and he makes her laugh, and she's needed that in her life. But she never stopped to think how it all must look. She should have been more careful.
So she apologised to the head-maid, and promised to be gone without a trace by morning, and then ran out into the gardens still clutching her knitting. There is a place, by the fishpond, where no-one ever goes; except the gardener, and he knows not to disturb her there. She manages to keep herself together until she reaches the little bench, but the moment she sits down she collapses into fits of tears, burying her face in her half-knitted booties and wondering what on earth sheâs supposed to do now.

Let's say mc has to go on a trip for something and it'll be a few weeks. So mc suggests to the ros that they buy each other stuffed animals so that they both have something to cuddle while the mc is away.
Awww thatâs so cute!
Lecia would have receive something mythical, like a unicorn or an alicorn. Sheâd get something cute, like a normal stuffed rabbit for MC, or someone else.
Misha would absolutely receive a stuffed bear, and would probably get something like that for MC.Â
Amphelice/Aaron would receive something pretty cute, like a stuffed kitten, and get very upset if it disappears. Theyâd probably get something like a colorful, mystical looking stuffed animal for MC.
Lynx would love a stuffed bird! As for what theyâd give, theyâd probably give something like a stuffed woodland animal, maybe a squirrel.
Valentine would receive something very regal looking, whatever that may be. He would likely choose something similar in turn, maybe an eagle or a pegasus.
Aeron would receive a stuffed owl, something old and wise looking. Aeron would probably buy a colorful, shiny plushie, no matter what the animal is, to give to MC.

â-the Commander watches the Knightsâ training session, rather unamused by what he sees. they just seem a bit off today, and his own mind is a bit astray from the task at hand as well; thinking of his discussion with Ser Henri Durant, of how he can hardly await to share the news of his conversation with her. âno,â he says and the Knights stop to look at him. âyou donât feel the balance of the sword; everything in your movements is just off. you need to---â he begins but his words become faint, cease when he spots her, his beloved, walking with one of her ladies. a smile forms on his lips and he clasps his second on the back, gestures for him to take charge as he begins to leave the grounds, moving towards her. it is quite unusual for him and he is aware that some of his men are looking at him a little perplexed, but he is in love and that does makes him be a little...different, appear slightly out of character. and he is also excited with what he has to tell her.
he approaches her without making a sound, picks her up, his arms wrap around her waist. he twirls her around with ease for she is as light as a feather. âhey...â he says with the fondest of smiles, just as he lets her feet touch the ground again, presses a kiss on the tip of her nose.
