I decided to find a recipe for ginger-garlic paste after finding a ton of recipes that called for it but only being able to find ginger paste or garlic paste at my neighborhood grocery stores, not both. In essence, it is just equal parts of ginger root and garlic that have been pulsed. Place in the freezer or refrigerator. Water can be substituted for the oil, but it won't keep as long.
