Running through the rest of 2017, “American Currents” opened just last week with a gala celebrating the exhibits first round of artists, including Jason Isbell, Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge and William Michael Morgan. “This museum bears testament to music history,” said museum director Kyle Young, as reported by Rolling Stone Country. “We are the caretakers of [Bill] Monroe’s mandolin, Mother Maybelle’s guitar and Elvis’s gold Cadillac… But to bear proper testament to music history, we must bear testament to the present, because history is born in the now.”
We are so honored to be included in @officialcmhof's #Currents exhibit. Y'all go check it out if you make your way to Nashville! 👊🏻

When you make your way through the “Current” items currently on display, you’ll find Chris Stapleton’s jacket and vest from the cover of his critically acclaimed debut album, Miranda Lambert’s stunning yellow dress from the last ACM Awards, an ensemble of gowns from Kelsea Ballerini’s cinematic “Peter Pan” music video, and even a black t-shirt worn by Luke Bryan on stage during his Kill the Lights stadium tour. Along with a plethora of fashion, you’ll also find handwritten lyrics and a variety of instruments played by country’s top musicians. Not only does the exhibit honor elite artists and newcomers alike, it also gives credit where credit is due; to the incredible songwriting community. “American Currents” applauds hit makers like Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna, Natalie Hemy and Ross Copperman with displays alongside the artists.
Although he doesn't understand why Dad's trophies are behind this glass, it meant the world to me to share this moment with my son. I have probably been to the Country Music Hall of Fame @officialcmhof over a hundred times in my life, and there are no words to describe my gratitude in being included in the new "American Currents" exhibit that opens this Friday. #americancurrents #countrymusichalloffame

The first concert my mom went to in Nashville was Tammy Wynette. Today was a full circle moment to be honored next to such a Queen in Country Music. I've come to the @officialcmhof so many times just in awe of the history. To have my @opry debut outfit behind that famous glass is the biggest honor. I've only been in Nashville for 5 years and to have accomplished this makes every day on the road and the sacrifices my family and team makes for me to be an artist worth it. God is so good and I wish Josh was here 💜#americancurrents #countrymusichalloffame
