YIPPEE I FINISHED MY FIRST SONG!!! its not perfect but it is in fact a song!!! :DDDDDD
this is my art for @ecto-implosion 2023! thats a Danny Phantom reverse big bang, which means it was an event where artists would work on an art piece, a fanfiction author would partner up with them and make a fic based off of it, and then everyone would release everything in a short time period— this song is intended to be listenable even if you don't know anything about the show, but it is a fansong from the perspective of Penelope Spectra singing to/about Vlad Masters :3
my partner was @nanaarchy, who made THIS KICK-ASS COMPANION FIC PLEASE READ IT THERES SO MUCH ATTENTION TO DETAIL OH MY GOD!!
and thank you @krzysztofpikes for being a HUUUUUUUGE help with the software and the chords and the mixing and overall just helping me do this thing that i had no idea how to do whatsoever
if you'd like to download the song, you can do that here (srry i didnt upload it to spotify or bandcamp or anything lol), and here's the youtube upload! also, the lyrics are below the cut!
youtube
Do you feel that desperation hiding underneath your skin? Do you feel the way that loneliness burns? Do you recognize your actions always stemmed from within? Have you figured out to live and to learn? Do you still fear the sight of needles and the beeping of machines? Still assume people pawns by default? Do you smell that sweet ambrosia hiding underneath your skin? Well, the good thing is it's all your fault The first part of healing is admitting that you're sick and I can almost taste it in the way you move your lips You haven't thought of therapy since when you were a kid That changes now! While I'm here, congratulations on the magazines and house every girl in town lined up but one And what a beautiful blue bedroom, such a shame it's untouched I would bet you'd raise the perfect son Everything somebody could want unless that somebody was you Here you are, still haunted after dawn I bet even if I put him right in front of you, you couldn't rid the world of that pollution show your old friend absolution I'm sure you've noticed by now trauma gave you your start You wouldn't be here if you'd never gotten torn apart Go tell your enemies you're thankful that your heart was eaten by the Green-Eyed Monster! The first part of healing is admitting that you're sick and I can almost taste it in the way you move your lips You haven't thought of therapy since when you were a kid Let me just go ahead and change that now... The first part of grieving is admitting that you're dead so move yourself on over, wrap my teeth around your neck You hadn't thought of therapy 'til I got in your head That's my world now! All these lectures about power... and when were you going to use it? Hmm. That's what I thought.

Hello there. I have had this little idea rattling through my brain
A Desmond who has recently run away from his home but have not yet found a place for himself in the wide open world. And – he ends up in Turin, for a while. Going at saving up some money to move further
But – he is still young. Getting a job is one thing, but finding a place to stay that wouldn’t bleed his savings out has been harder. Even more so, if he was looking for a place that wasn’t 50 types of shady
One of his freer days, he ends up stumbling across a small cave. Kind of like the ones we have to push through in new game trilogy. A vertical crack, really. And with nothing better to do, he decides to explore it
The place this crack leads to? The Grand Temple. An earthquake caused that crack to appear, and another one would have originally closed it a year or two later. And while there are no power sourced, here, to activate the temple en large… We do have Origins with its silica that can be found right in the temple, as an example of small-scale power source
It’s a pure stroke of luck, but Desmond manages to activate a small, small section of the Temple. Not enough to draw Juno’s attention. But enough to make it – a place to live? To explore? Maybe managing to somehow to connect to the place with modern tech – again, on pure stroke of luck because who know that sticking a cord to that one spot in the platform that kind of looked like a jack, would work?
Eventually, say, in a year, Desmond has to move on. But in that year? Desmond learns just a little bit too much to not be noticeable as he goes on. Imagine it like the result of regular late-night Google binging. He’d just look up one thing, that leads to another, then to another
Odd things to include:
Desmond could use touchscreen tech straight off once it popped up. Better than anyone else who knew him. Also tended to complain about it being slow
Casually correcting someone in the bar and getting into a deep discussion about some Niche@TM branch of science that was a rabbit hole Desmond spent some time looking through in Temple
Odd preferences in lighting
Tron: Legacy premiere left Desmond with an intense feeling of Déjà vu (the movie aired in 2010)
Desmond probably did not have the intended reaction to Animus
=============================
Additions from teecup:
All this google would totally lead him to be a regular on a lot of conspiracy theory boards. The idea of ancient aliens are the premise of myths and legends will make him have a ‘you annoy me but you give me the weirdest and most interesting questions’ relationship with one of the regular users there (who turns out to be a bespectacled man we all know).
Instead of a cord, maybe the glowly lines recharge his equipment or something like some kind of wireless charging ports XD
All of Desmond’s exploring made him find the thing that makes the ‘ambrosia’ that taste like cardboard. Still, it’s free and he feels full just eating one bar so, even if it’s possible that it’s not all that safe, he still uses it so he wouldn’t have to budget for food. Depending on how big we want the dispenser to be, if it’s small enough, Desmond could haul it out of the Grand Temple when he leaves because ain’t no way he’s gonna let go of that bad boy. Buying food and cooking becomes more like a treat for Desmond. (He also learned how to add seasoning to the Ambrosia so it tastes like… well… seasoned cardboard)
It would be funny if Desmond found the Isu equivalent to a 3D printer and, while the crack isn’t big enough for Desmond to take out say the motorcycle of his dream that is absolutely more scifi than anything out in the market today, he could use it to print really good forgeries like a birth certificate, documents required by school registrars… maybe even money?
In the end, Desmond’s fiddling with Isu tech made him too interested in technology in general and he tried out engineering and computer software classes, half just pretending he was supposed to be there and half actually giving forged documents too good to be found out by current tech and experts. Maybe he even becomes friends with two certain blondes who have issues of their own although he doesn’t stay that long but he definitely made an impact on the two of them.
And with his Frankenstein knowledge of both Isu tech, googling and the few classes he took in various colleges while he does his city-hopping just to be sure no one from his parent’s cult finds him, he starts to be a regular in tech and machinery chatrooms, becoming friends with a certain black-haired young woman who has the weirdest but most interesting ideas that made Desmond’s mind go ‘ooohhh, but what if…’
In the end of all of these, it’s not Abstergo who finds him first.
Nor is it the Assassins.
No.
The first ones to make contact with him and asked if he wanted to fuck society up?
Erudito.

FF16 Song Title Translations (into English)
I find the choices for some of the song titles in FF16's soundtrack interesting. Especially the ones that are clearly Greek.
For example -- take "Tonitrua ex Machina." It's the song that plays when we first meet Cid, as he's walking out of a lightning-created dust cloud after sending all those Ironblood to the afterlife.
The more common, well-known version of the phrase is "Deux ex Machina," which means "the god in the machine." In Greek plays, this was usually the term used for divine intervention to get the protagonist back on track towards victory, rather than a continued downward spiral. It's basically the ancient version of a maguffin.
But here, in FF16, the name is different. And if you run "Tonitrua" through google translate or other translation software, it comes out as various synonyms for thunder.
So, instead of "the god in the machine," it's "the thunder in the machine." Very fitting play on the phrase, considering what Cid does when he shows up!
I'll keep the rest under the cut because we'll start to get into spoiler territory for...well, the whole game, really. Forgive any incorrect guesses as to when these songs play -- it's been a couple weeks since I completed the game and I'm working off the soundtrack list!
The next song in the soundtrack is "Catacecaumene," which is Greek, and it plays during the fight with Typhon. According to translation software means "burnt land" or "burnt country." This one took a little bit of digging to find because it's actually the name of a region in ancient Turkey, once called Lydia...and they spell it "Katakekeaumene." So, replace the C's with K's and you've got an old name for a region.
It's definitely an interesting choice, considering that the fight is against Typhon, who mostly uses unaspected magic, but as I'm writing this and chewing it over...the Blight makes the entire land look like it's been scorched in a raging wildfire, doesn't it? Covered in black ash, nothing grows or lives in its silence...and considering how alien it sounds, it's really starting to make me think of the Blighted world Ultima left behind. The world he gave up on trying to "wake up" and remind it of what it used to be, as Cid was attempting in the Hideaway.
Except now, something blooms in fire here. Clive -- Mythos -- has made an appearance.
The third song, "Màtham Sanomh," doesn't come up as anything I'm familiar with, other than some name sites trying to tell me what "Màtham" means. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this song was named using the Ironblood language that was invented for the game, rather than any we're familiar with. Especially since it plays when Jill and Clive are approaching the worshipping Ironblood priests at their altar with their human sacrifices in front of the Mothercrystal.
A couple songs later, we get "Hamartia." How many Percy Jackson fans just perked up at that one? Because it's Greek for "fatal flaw." Considering that Ultima believes Clive to be flawed, and this plays during the Typhon and Liquid Flame fights, I believe Ultima is looking for Clive's -- Mythos' -- flaws here, and is preparing to burn them out as necessary.
"Fenris Kindir" comes a few songs later -- I'm reading Scandinavian vibes right off the bat with this name, rather than the Greek of other ones. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess this means "kin of Fenrir." As this is the song that plays when Torgal first transforms while rescuing Jill, it's not hard to see why!
"Vive l'Empire" and "Fanfarrado de Chocobo" are easy enough to figure out -- one is a theme for Sanbreque ("long live the empire" or something similar), and the other is a brief fanfare for getting on Ambrosia.
Later on, we get "Miséricorde," which plays in the cutscenes following the fight against Bahamut, means "mercy" or "forgiveness." I forget who this one plays for, but considering how extremely tense it is, and how it comes right after "Kinslayer," this is either the moment that Dion lets his emotions get the better of him...or when Anabella slits her own throat, thinking to wake up from a dream.
"Furor," which is probably what plays during the fight with Sleipnir or the cutscene following with Barnabas, just means "rage." Considering the entire city of Kanver's fallen to Waloed's Akashic horde, Clive's feeling pretty mad right now. Fitting!
"Eschaton" is another Greek word -- dictionary software implies it's the last part of a divine plan, usually referring to an "end-of-the-world" scenario. I believe this is what plays when Origin is pulled up from under Twinside and Ultima starts to put his final phase into motion. Again, very fitting.
The last two songs that pull from Greek are "Logos" and "Holos." The first of these, "Logos," essentially means "logic." If you're using it in a communicative setting, it's "the appeal to another's sense of reason," which is a definition I'm familiar with after having taken a Speech class in college. Appeal to Logos, Pathos, and Ethos -- which are logic, emotion, and ethics, respectively. Clive has seen reason, but Ultima has not, and Clive is going to force Ultima to see the truth of things whether the so-called god likes it or not.
"Holos," on the other hand, is not short form for "hologram" no matter what the internet is trying to tell me. In Greek, it means "entire" or "whole," which...considering it plays in the cutscene after Clive defeats Ultima and when he casts that final spell? It signifies that Mythos is complete. He is whole. Clive has all the power he could ever gain (minus Leviathan, if we ever get any DLC for that), and he has everything he needs to change the world as he sees fit.
How ironic, then, that his body couldn't actually hold all the power Ultima gave him, or handle the aftermath of the spell cast. Then again, maybe the vessel was never intended to live past its intended purpose...
(To be clear, I'm in the "Clive survives but loses a hand" camp, but I could certainly see Ultima casting the vessel aside when he was done with it.)
I wouldn't be surprised if there are other songs on the bonus disc that have other names that might need a little translation work, but I'm not getting my copy until September. Still, this was pretty fun and interesting to look into!

Oh right, my idea of good video games isn't because of console games, it's from the shareware Mac games I grew up on. Ambrosia Software made some awesome knockoffs of arcade classics with wackier graphics and sound effects, but let me highlight CyByrSoft's "Slick Willie" (1998) in which you play as the floating head of Bill Clinton trying to eat cheeseburgers and avoid various other public figures' heads, which make you barf, all with sound effects blatantly stolen from pop music and movies.
This is what we had before Yahoo Games, sorry

What are the Recording Software for Podcast?
Unless you’re conducting in-person interviews, your podcast just got a bit more technically complicated. You need to have the appropriate software to record your interview over the phone. Recording using software or hardware — once again you’re faced with choices. Recording Software is usually easier to set up and cheaper, but it might strain your computer’s CPU. If your CPU is overloaded, it could affect the recording quality.
Recording Interviews with Skype
When you’re recording interviews using Skype, things can get a bit more complex if you’re not meeting face-to-face. You’ll need the right Recording Software to capture your phone conversations. Skype, which you can find at Skype | Stay connected with free video calls worldwide , is one of the best options for this.
Skype is a free tool for making calls over the internet. It’s like iChat or AOL IM’s Audio mode, but it’s often more reliable and provides clearer sound. What sets Skype apart is that it works on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, making it accessible to a wide range of users.
SoundTap
For Windows users, there’s SoundTap by NCH Swift Sound (available at www.nch.com.au/soundtap/index.html). It’s a handy tool that allows you to capture any audio playing on your Windows computer. Once you install the software and activate it, all sound produced on or through your PC, including Skype calls, will be recorded as either WAV or MP3 files.
WireTap Studio Pro
WireTap Studio by Ambrosia Recording Software is a versatile tool for Mac users that allows you to record various audio sources. It not only captures audio playing on your Mac but also enables you to record from a secondary source like a mixer, iTunes, or another media player.
Tumblr media
SkypeOut
SkypeOut is a feature included with Skype that allows users to dial telephone numbers and use Skype to make calls to people worldwide, starting from around 2 cents per minute. The rates for calls to different destinations may vary, so it’s a good idea to check the Skype website for specific details on pricing. This feature enables users to make international calls at affordable rates, expanding the reach of their communication network.
Conclusion
The need for appropriate Recording Software to capture phone conversations becomes crucial in such scenarios. Whether you’re using Skype, Call Recorder, SoundTap, or WireTap Studio Pro, each tool offers its own set of features and benefits tailored to different user needs and preferences.

Conspiracy
Prof. Umberto Ego and Borges Lexis are touching the globe and using their fingers and manipulating them on the countries and continents. Both of them wished in their hearts that they could possess them. Together they formed the Cabal Templar Transactions. Templar Transactions uses the social media and manipulate the feelings and emotions of the people. They also have a stake in the major banks of the world called Sephiroth coming in from Cabala. They use software called Psycho-Tonic to eavesdrop on the political bigwigs of countries. A midnight ritual is taking place in the secret chamber of the group Templar Transactions. A nude woman is lying on the altar having a bronze statue of Goddess Minerva.  The members of the cult do the ritual of the pentagram and draw it symbolically on the vagina of the woman. When it is over they take turns to copulate with her. Umberto ego and Borges Lexis run a press called Superego. And they take huge sums of money from mediocre authors to publish their works. They have published a book by Colonel Skunk called the history of the Knights of the Templars. It is from the Templars that they got the inspiration to name their Cabal Templar Transactions. They are addicted to conspiracy theories. They have also intervened in the politics of many countries. They are the ones who plot the politics of the cold war.  In the country of the idols and idol worship, through electoral manipulation they instituted the political party the Vedas and Vedas are persecuting the people of a minority religion having a monotheistic God. They have also infiltrated the banking of many countries and they have dollarized it. They are instrumental in bringing out a conflict between North Coral and South Carol making one a communist country and the other a capitalist one. They are also engaged in the arms trade, and sell weapons to guerilla-infidels to fight mainstream governments. It was at their instigation that the country Ambrosia invaded a neighboring country Elixir.  They are turning the world into a Geo-political conflict. They are the mastermind behind many conspiracy theories. They know that a world takeover lies in the hegemony of clandestinely manipulating the minds of the people through social media. They look up to an unknown monotheistic God Einsof.  The pierce their hands and offer blood to their God Einsof. They have a special aficionado for women and women are a part of their sexual rituals. They through their rituals celebrate nudism and heterosexuality. They have their mad aims and whims for a world takeover. Their Templar crusade is the electronic and social media, and through it they manipulate people through the politics of propaganda and brainwashing.  The members of this CABAL are breakaway groups from the Freemasons and the Illuminati. For those who want to vent their feelings, those who are lonely, they have created the blog: libido.
In the end they realize all this is fiction that they have fed into a computer.

The business keeps expanding and now Tim has met the new employees.
There’s an older woman only known by “Lunch Lady”, even her husband calls her that. She seems to be in charge of the lunch menu, probably where her nickname came from.
Her husband is called “Boxie” who appears to be involved with inventory and storage.
Then there is their daughter who everyone calls “Box Lunch”. She doesn’t work at the store but the walls are covered in her artwork. She also seems to have an imaginary friend called “Youngblood” that the employees claim to see too, probably just humoring the young girl.
Box Lunch does have a real friend though named Ellie who seems closer to Damian’s age. She is Vlad’s daughter and has a lot of wonderlust, Tim sees her more around town than in the store. Luckily she is not wandering Gotham alone as her big brother Jordan is always on her heels or at least trying to get back on her heels.
Next is Sam who is Danny’s age. Sam is in charge of the vegan options and has been trying to convince Vlad to turn the store into a rescue animal cafe. Should she succeed Damian can never know.
Sam’s best friend Tucker also works there. He acts as the stores tech support and handles all the software issues while Danny handles the hardware.
Tim suspects they all may be metas. Boxie defiantly has telekinesis. Lunch lady can summon food. Their daughter seems to have inherited their powers. Tim swears he has seen Ellie fly and Jordan has some kind of stretching powers (not even Dick is that flexible). Sam can manipulate plants and Tucker probably has technopathy.
Tim is worried for these metas, even if they are just peaceful ice cream makers and purveyors of ambrosia coffee, there are plenty of people who would pay a pretty penny for access to their powers.
Tim has no choice but to spend all his free time at the store drinking all the Death Wish coffee that Danny is willing to bring him and eating the second best scones in Gotham.
Multiple businesses have suddenly been handed over to one man under the name of Masters. Multiple businesses who have some type of corruption one way or another.
The Wayne's wouldn't have even noticed, really, if the same wasn't happening in Gotham city.
It was alarming, really. Whoever Masters was he new how to pick his targets, businesses which are either small enough to go ignored, about to go bankrupt, or had rumors (which were true) about dabbling in crime.
All the businesses he took seemingly flourished under his hands, with not even a single corner being dipped in crime. Whoever Masters was, he was undoubtably a successful businessman, he managed to built an empire that was soon capable of rivaling both Lexcorp Wayne Foundation in a few years, and he was an incredibly elusive man himself.
No one knew what he looked like, nor his first name.
Only his last, Masters.
On a different note, there was another thing Tim was looking into. A new restaurant/ice cream parlor which opened up recently, it just opened up out of the blue, owned by a family that just appeared in Gotham one day.
From what he checked, there wasn't any records about any of them anywhere Tim could find, like literally nothing. Almost like they didn't exist prior to the day they opened.
There was only three people who owned the store. Vlad- no last name- the cook and owner, Danny- again, no last name- the cashier and Jasmine- once again, no last name- the waitress.
He had a suspicion- no he was very sure that Danny was a meta, one who had power over ice. They never ran out of ice, the space behind his counter was always cold (Well he did man the ice cream parlor and the drinks, but still), he quite literally watched the guy freeze someone's coffee when they tried to complain it was too hot and the most damming thing.
Their ice cream machine was never, not even once, broken.
Vlad was most definitely a fire meta, the temperature always seemed to rise whenever he was in the room, and his kitchen was a goddamn furnace, no one who didn't have at least some kind of fire resistance would be able to go in there with an apron and stay there for hours on end.
He was also very defensive over his kitchen for some reason, Tim thought it was because of the insane heat which might be part of the reason, but even to his own workers he doesn't allow them inside. Tim managed to overhear his reason as to why though.
"No offense, and in the most respectful way I can put this. But you two just throw food in the oven and hope it doesn't gain sentience."
Tim thinks he probably didn't mean that literally.
Jasmine couldn't be flagged as a meta, but he does think there's something about her. Probably has a pretty solid foundation in martial arts, or ballet, because her balance is impeccable. He quite literally watched her dance her over to different tables with multiple plates on her body.
Tim didn't think there was any type of connection between the Masters takeover and the restaurant, and technically he should be alerting Bruce to the two new metas in Gotham but.
They have a coffee to die for.
No, he should probably be telling Bruce, or at least another one of the family...
Maybe after he stops by and grabs himself a coffee, oh and most definitely one of their ice creams too.

Claris Works
When I got my first computer, it was an under powered mac - (because apple was good at fooling parents into thinking they were making educational devices at the time). It didn't have any games except for 'slide puzzle' which I got unreasonably good at. That being said, I spent an absurd amount of time playing around with the draw tools in Claris Works, Claris Draw. It was kind of an early version of Adobe Illustrator. It was exciting to discover the meaning behind a new menu I hadn't figured out yet. Sometimes it's fun to just appreciate how powerful and interesting software tools like this can be.
Quick side note on this before I get to my point. There was an old game called Avara by Ambrosia Software which allowed you to export Claris Draw documents as 3d maps. You would make boxes and shapes in Claris draw and attach text fields to them like "Gravity=0.1,Height=100" etc that allowed you to create a 3d world in the Avara engine. SUPER COOL for the time.
I like to do art from time to time. I like to dabble in animation, but don't think I will ever have the discipline needed to finish a real project.
I am excited to get, and dig into Procreate dreams when it's out. It looks like a really cool tool and I'm looking forward to digging into it even if I won't be making amazing animations. I'm very interested to see the animation workflow rethought for an ipad interface.

I want to respond with that "as far as i'm concerned, all marriage is gay marriage" comic, except it reads, "all computing is vintage computing." see, i got my start not by trying to run too-old hardware, but by trying to run too-old software on modern hardware. I wanted to play my childhood copy of Captain Comic on my 1999 gaming rig. I wanted to hear the dulcet tones of the Kid Pix undo guy on a computer roughly 12 years newer than Kid Pix. I wondered to myself what Beyond Castle Wolfenstein was like, on a machine that would never, ever run the thing at the correct speed. To say nothing of all the games and programs, barely even five years older than the machine, that would work fine if only I tweaked the memory settings, or edited a config file to the right IRQ/DMA settings, or copied a DLL file to the right folder.
The pursuit of nostalgia inevitably led me to emulation, and then to re-reading our old Computer Gaming World and PC Gamer magazines. CGW kept mentioning games for the Commodore Amiga, especially in retrospectives, and I was in luck: WinUAE had just gotten to the point of being reasonably polished by 2004, so I started goofing around with that until I could finally learn what the big deal was about Dungeon Master and Rick Dangerous. The pursuit of Abandonware - the term with no legal meaning - led me towards emulating 68k Macintosh and getting to put actual time into the Ambrosia games like Harry the Handsome Executive, and when I got my second-ever job in 2007 and idly wondered if anybody on Craigslist had a real old computer I could pick up for cheap, someone did - the 1999 Power Mac G3 blue-and-white, for a mere $35. It'd serve me well - and still does - as I would proceed to discover the wealth of software, games, and toys that I'd only had a taste of before.
Honestly, it keeps going with me. I keep acquiring old laptops and all-in-ones. I joke with friends and family that my computing space is like a small animal shelter for old PCs. But, you know, the relief on some people's faces when I say, "sure, I can take that old thing off your hands, it'll go to a good home and get to run around in the back yard chasing squirrels get to play music and be used for weird-ass benchmarks." The fact that it builds up such a weird and diverse skill set is just a nice bonus.
How did you get into vintage computing as a hobby?
I've told my perspective before on how this became my hobby of choice, but I want to hear from YOU. What lead you to vintage computing?

Tips to discover the ROI of your social media posts
Since measuring ROI on organic social media posts can be a struggle for some, we asked marketers who are successfully measuring their ROI to share how they discover it. Here’s what our marketers had to say.
Use URL tracking
To find your ROI on social media, you’ll need to track how much traffic your posts drive to your website—and ideally, how often that traffic converts to a sale. Jerry Haffey Jr. of Ambrosia Treatment Center says, “The metrics provided by social networks are useful within that platform, but it’s challenging to make real-world decisions with that data unless you can calculate your ROI. When we share a piece of content, whether it’s a blog post, an inspirational message, or a video, we use URL tracking. That way, we know the platform where they came from, and we can get a better idea about what is working and what isn’t.”
Directly ask how customers hear of you
Lauren Patrick of Motivo  advocates for asking customers how they first came to know about the company, in addition to using tracking programs. “Whenever we have a new lead come in,” says Patrick, “we ask them, ‘How did you hear about Motivo?’ It’s been great to hear, ‘I saw your Instagram post’ or  ‘I heard about you on Twitter.’ Motivo connects pre-licensed therapists with a supervisor to get the hours needed for licensure, and it’s been awesome to discover how active therapists, counselors, and mental health professionals are on social media.  On the technical side, we use HubSpot, and the ‘Sources’ report integrates with Google Analytics to show how new contacts converted from social channels. Another tool I’ve used before for marketing attribution is Brightfunnel, which is awesome.”
  Examine customers’ engagement
Engagement, or the likes, comments, and shares a post generates is a key measure of ROI on social media. Says Adrian Dolo of Team 15k, “To discover your estimated ROI, you first have to look at how many people actively interact with your content, and have clicked on links you might’ve posted in the past. Also, the number of people that comment under your post, if not in engagement, can help you determine who is ready to be monetized. It is all about your engagement, that is why it is best not to fake it!”
Track time and money investments, and compare to goals
According to Cristina Maria of Commusoft, “An easy way [to measure ROI] is to see how many posts per week you need and how long it takes your team to produce these. Then consider their $/hour rate and compare it to your social media goals and how close you are to them. For example, if a 2% increase in social media website traffic referral takes 3 hours of work per week, then this has cost you 3 x $/hour in sheer man-hours spent on the task.
  Use Google’s and Facebook’s tools
The tools built into Google Analytics and Facebook are extremely valuable for ROI tracking. Dustin Radin of Online Visibility, Inc. advises: “Make sure you have Google Analytics set up on your website to track referral traffic from Facebook. Secondly, install the Facebook Pixel on your website and create custom events for specific pages you want to track. You can also create campaign tracking URLs in Google Analytics that will track clicks and conversions from specific buttons or links in your Facebook posts.”
  Multi-pronged methods
Rio Rocket recommends multiple steps and measures for tracking ROI, across different content types: “Accurately measuring your ROI and conversion rates on content is challenging, especially when we’re discussing external content outside of your website. Since you don’t have the benefit of analytics software when marketing content through outside channels, the strategy I have personally developed for both clients and myself is to embed incentivized tracking data into your content marketing CTA.”

a few creatures from video games that I felt the need to draw after the whole monsters book. Respectively: Aarbron from the old and then new Shadow of the Beast; the cursed unicorn from King’s Quest: Mask of Eternity; the protagonist from a silly 80s british computer game called Soft n Cuddly; a Habnabit from the old Mac game Ferazel’s Wand; and the shopkeeper from Starfox Adventures, who is a nonbinary icon.
(i’m gonna go overboard with tags while i’m just starting out here i hope folks don’t mind)
