Last night protestors pulled down the Jefferson Davis statue on Monument Avenue (as well as the Christopher Columbus one nearby). This one is a big deal because during previous protest waves there were rednecks defending this thing by literally standing guard with guns; I don’t know if they changed their minds, gave up, or got fought off.
