What a brutal way to end the episode. Just when you think everything is about to be okay and Aoi and Eve are finally going to be able to achieve their promise, Aoi's body just gives out. Eve begs Aoi to pull it together, and Aoi reassures her that she's going to hold up her end of the bargain.

But just as you think Aoi is going to be able to pull it together, she collapses again, as her parents can only watch on from a distance, powerless to help her at this point. It's clear that Aoi is already past her limit, and even if she can finish the tournament, this will be the last time she can play competitive golf

Svelato il cast dell’originale anime a tema golf di Bandai Namco.

Pubblicato da BANDAI NAMCO PICTURES (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, Fight League: Gear Gadget Generators) un primo video promozionale per “Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story”, l’originale serie animata dello studio, incentrata sul mondo del golf femminile, che sbarcherà sulle tv giapponesi nel corso del 2022.

Assieme al teaser è stato svelato anche il cast principale dell’anime:

Eve: Akari Kito (Tsukasa Yuzaki in TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You)

Aoi Amawashi: Asami Seto (Fena Houtman in FENA: Pirate Princess)

Amane Shinjo: Ami Koshimizu (Ryuko Matoi in Kill la Kill)  

Lily Lipman: Akira Sekine (Charlotte in Princess Principal)

Reiya Amuro: Toru Furuya (Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam)

Leo Millafoden: Shuichi Ikeda (Shanks in One Piece)

A dirigere il progetto troviamo Takayuki Inagaki (Chio’s School Road, NouCome), mentre la sceneggiatura è supervisionata da Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia, 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team).

Le musiche sono composte da Kotaro Nakagawa (Code Geass) e Hironori Anazawa (Scarlet Nexus). La sigla testa della serie, invece, sarà ad opera di Kohmi Hirose, l’artista alla quale dobbiamo “Groovy!”, la prima storica sigla di coda di “Cardcaptor Sakura”.

Reiya has sacrificed so much, and he's never even gotten a real chance to be Aoi's father. Even though she understands this on some level, it's hard for her to fully admit to it. And Kinue, who has been devoted to him, doesn't quite understand what is happening either, because none of these characters have the full story about the past.

I really hope that Aoi is able to get at least one moment being able to see her father as her father before this is all over.
