I am legitimately not kidding I WISH I can one day write something as brilliant in its comedic juxtaposition as spending eight episodes on the seedy underworld of underground golfing featuring the Golf Mafia, ending on the heroine’s last opponent getting gunned down by their hitman, and then NINE EPISODES IN OUT OF THIRTEEN choosing to become a standard high school sports anime, except for the part where everyone has golf superpowers, and oh yeah, OUR PROTAGONIST IS AN AMNESIAC ON THE RUN FROM THE GOLF MAFIA.

Just that knowledge alone has carried me through the back third. All these high school girls are considered more of a threat than the best of the Golf Mafia. All of this is being given the same dramatic stakes as sudden death single hole shootouts for the Golf Mafia. 

It's just this truly special, beautiful kind of absurdity, and I envy the writer who came up with it.
