so this is completely pointless but

This is a pretty vague memory since I was a kid at the time, and it's probably all wrong but I randomly thought of this again and I have to say something.

I was watching Inside Edition and there was a segment talking about a guy saving some chick's life (might've been a kid actually? I dunno, I remember nothing.) I think he was a medical professional, not sure if he was a doctor or an EMT or something. IIRC she was unconscious for whatever reason, and a car was coming and he moved her out of the road.

But apparently people were like "you shouldn't have moved her, that's dangerous, she had/potentially had spinal cord damage" and he had to specify that it was a case where it was okay to move the patient. You know, a moving vehicle approaching their location. And it's been I dunno how long but I still think about that sometimes.

The greatest injustice ever faced is that I almost certainly started the still thriving "clown husbandry" tag on here, but any discussion about it (from a know your meme page to a youtube video with 500k views) says it's a joke of "unknown origin" or credited to this post, likely bouncing off of mine (which was actively circulating at the time with like 30k notes):

This is a tragedy for many reasons, most of all because it wasn't just an offhand joke but actually a direct response to some of the funniest online hate I ever got:

They're erasing the truest history of tumblr: its desperate need to seethe and argue over every obvious joke with more than 10 notes.

This feels very odd. I last posted on Tumblr in I reckon 2015?! It's been a while, and obviously it was a different blog so I should introduce myself.

My name is Beth, I'm 28 and live in the beautiful Norfolk countryside with my fiancé and 2 house rabbits. I'm a Hufflepuff through and through, and I got hella nostalgia for Harry Potter and fanfiction when playing Hogwatys Legacy... So look here I am now!

I've just started posting my story The Concerning Case of Florence Woods onto AO3. It's a retelling of the Hogwarts Legacy storyline but mostly focused on the big moments (trials, scriptorium, repository and aftermath) and takes a few liberties to include everyone's fave 1890s Potion Master, Mr Aesop Sharp.

It'll be three chapters long (approx 25k words) and will set the foundations for a much longer story to follow, which I'm hoping will be a lil romantic, lil spicy, lil angsty heartbreaker lmao. If it sounds like your cup of tea please follow along!

Outside of HP, I'm a proud elder emo (once wrote a fanfiction in bandom about 12 years ago that uh... did well lol) and will probs end up sharing music bits here too.

*kicks down your door* It might seem like a plot hole that no one thought about the possibility of Dracula being invited into the asylum by Renfield (or any other patient) but actually it speaks to the way Renfield’s personhood is being denied mainly by Jack Seward, but also the rest of the crew in part through their reliance on Seward’s expertise. Which also ties into the way they have decided to shut out Mina at the very same time. It literally just did not occur to them that the patients living in the same building as them would have any claim to the residency that allows someone to grant the permission a vampire needs to enter a home. But of course the asylum is the patients’ home just as much as it is Jack’s! They live there! In short this fatal blow dealt to the heroes at this crucial juncture comes about through both their sexism and their ableism. Good night. *puts your door back on its hinges again and leaves*
