Hey so y'all know how Garroth asks Aph if she's sure about taking in Levin? Because her duties as a lord might get in the way? Do you ever think about how he was raised? And how maybe he's looking at Levin and seeing another kid who might suffer bc his parent is too busy being important to love him, and he's afraid? Because he knows (or at least REALLY wants to believe) Aphmau wouldn't do it on purpose, but then again, part of him still wants to believe his father didn't either? And the way he IMMEDIATELY volunteers to be in Levin's life, IMMEDIATELY steps up at every occasion, gets Zoey involved, ACTIVELY SAYS THAT HE KNOWS LEVIN WILL BE SOMETHING GREAT SOMEDAY TO OTHER PEOPLE?? He's making DAMN sure that kid has people in his life, and that the kid has somebody who unapologetically is proud and enthusiastic about him. I think he's making sure no kid ever has to grow up anything like he did.

Reality tv is so fucking dangerous for me because my brain still whirs as if I'm watching fictional characters but I'm NOT and I should NOT be blorbofying or armchair diagnosing these irl human beings, it's simply safer for me to never ever engage. Tl;dr my god the exes on His Man 3 have eaten my mind, I can't stop thinking about them. I won't share REAL PERSON HEADCANONS (basically: who pings as neuroatypical) but I went from thinking Myeongkyun was the most hilarious entertaining television figure I'd seen in years to being really truly gutted for him and his like, slow struggling emotional processing which makes him sooooo frustratingly opaque even though he is trying, and his fuckboy affect which is so deceptive for how confusingly deeply (but just. sloooooowly) he actually feels. Youngjoon has been my favorite contestant this entire time (well, Youngjoon and Seungjin but let's not get me started on how it feels to watch Seungjin go untreasured episode after episode) and Hanmin jumped way up there in episodes 7 and 8 too because who knew he was the absolute kindest and most supportive and emotionally intelligent person in that entire house, I'm rooting SO HARD for him and Youngjoon I think they're such a crazy good match for each other augh. So the thing I find so compelling about Myeongkyun and Youngjoon's conflict is that it's really easy for me to understand where both of them were coming from; as absolutely maddening as it is to imagine being in Youngjoon's shoes and trying with so much hyperverbal self-awareness to reach some kind of clarity and just being hit in the face again and again with Myeongkyun's blase opaqueness, I really DO think they were both trying super hard and in good faith in that exhausting conversation! It understandably didn't FEEL that way to Youngjoon, as Myeongkyun led him in circle after circle, but I'm seriously like unhinged with how much I feel for Myeongkyun rn and his visible overwhelm. When Youngjoon was about to leave and tell Myeongkyun to figure things out on his own and Myeongkyun told him it's actually easier for him !!! to sort through his feelings with him there !!!! that's such an admittance, he absolutely was trying that whole time but what comes out of his mouth is sooooooooo not intelligible and thus as infuriating as humanly possible for Youngjoon, this incredibly verbal, emotionally analytic overthinker. They're such a bad match lmao and it's so so sad that Myeongkyun just assumed their relationship was moving as slowly as his feelings do and not that he was fully ghosted dklfjslkdfja I can just see BOTH THEIR SIDES I'm almost always on the side of the person who is like "how was I supposed to know what you ghosting me meant? I kept contacting you because I just thought you were busy!" vs. the ghoster who is all ugh dude why couldn't you read the room? but if Myeongkyun has always been like this - answering a direct question with "Maybe I'm ENTJ!" or "I don't want to tell you" or munch munch munching and "mmm"-ing and blinking and never ever answering what he was actually asked - it's pretty easy to understand why Youngjoon would assume this is a guy who neither cares about nor requires direct communication of any kind.

Lol sorry I've never posted into this tag before and this is a super incoherent blur of feelings before I go offline for the next two days but I just have to get it out of my system because I don't think I've ever had a reality show change my perception of somebody as much as Myeongkyun just like. Visibly hanging on by a thread while saying all the absolute wrong things in his stupid cool guy voice. and then breaking down as soon as he was alone. did. "Dating Minseon is... a possibility" went from sounding like a half-assed non-commitment to me, to Myeongkyun very seriously working through his feelings at his regular slow slow speed, and I'm fully rooting for them as well atp.

I wish this season had more friendship and less shady secret missions because everyone is so miserable... including me, who is sitting here typing nonsense instead of posting about my safely fictional characters.

Accurate! Dipper in his natural state would Not Prioritize his appearance in favor of a lot of other stuff. Out of all the secondary characters on TWOL, Nat’s the one who stayed with me. Like I understand from a narrative perspective his presence wouldn’t have worked simply because it’s all about Michonne and Rick and Nat was a rich character they wouldn’t have had the time to focus on….but still so sad he couldn’t have lived he would’ve loved their community and family and would’ve easily become a vital member of both.

completely agree. he was instantly so lovable and iconic it was impressive. while thorne and okafor live rent free in my brain for very different reasons, nat is for sure who I would have saved if I had any say whatsoever. rip king you would have loved being favorite uncle to the first son and daughter of the apocalypse 😢

suga loves horror movies. and he loves horror of all kinds but he especially loves the campy stuff. like movies that are objectively kind of bad but there's also heart in it. you can tell the creators were passionate about it and loved what they were doing. he feels this way about bad movies in ALL genres but there's something special to him about "bad" low budget horror movies specifically.

and he loves finding these movies and forcing his friends to watch them with him. everyone is on high alert whenever suga recommends a movie for movie night because nine times out of ten it's going to be AWFUL. and he's going to rave about it for an hour after as if it's the best thing ever made.

Bronya/Seele. I just get so opinionated about things, it's ridiculous, but consider this a fair warning for some salt relating to what I consider to be an absolutely infuriating ship to have to deal with. It should be prefaced that I'm not against the ship in theory, even if I find the concept of 'one returns to the light, while the other returns to the dark', a bit boring, but I digress. My issue with this blasted dynamic, is how Seele's character is reigned in, time and time again as to make it happen in any capacity.

How is Hoyo able to write such great dynamics way more often than not (yes, of course including ones between female characters, whether done through a lot or little screen-time; ie. Clorinde/Navia, and Beidou/Ningguang), but then looked at Bronya and Seele in HSR and not only absolutely miss the mark, but also actively undo Seele's character as to replicate... HI3's famous F/F ship? And then, what has this caused within the fandom? That anyone who doesn't ship it, is ignoring an F/F ship and therefore should be condemned for social political and representation reasons, while honestly, it simply comes down to the fact that it's not well written from from at least one perspective.

I of course can't touch on Bronya's side of things, but Seele's complete 180 following the revelation that Bronya, too, was an orphan, is absolutely ill-fitting. Would this possibly soften Seele's argumentative nature (that then also was nurtured endlessly throughout the years) a little bit? Sure, but considering how intensely ingrained it is into her character for understandable reasons; it would go excruciatingly slowly. Seele doesn't and wouldn't blush at a thank you, she's likely received enough of them considering her work within Wildfire, and honestly, Bronya isn't exactly someone that Seele would hold in immense admiration so soon (without active evidence)— which if she did at the moment it happens, could explain being lightly taken aback, but alas. Seele and Bronya represent two opposite sides, and as the end of the Trailblazing mission shows, they still argue, and Seele still opposes her. Before yet again, her character is reigned in as to fit into this shipping narrative, instead of having her fiercely defend (and stand up for) what she's very obviously felt strongest about throughout her life, which is the primary reason as to why she's back up in the Overworld to begin with. Let me just present a bit of Seele's second character story:

Before leaving that evening, they sat on a bench in the Executive Plaza as Seele stared at the restaurant opposite them. "Was the Overworld fun, Seele? Wanna come back again later?" "Can I ask you something?" "...What's up? Ask away." "Those Overworlders are only eating half their meal, and threw the rest away." "..." "Do they know that people down below haven't got enough food to eat?" "..." Oleg saw how a look of gloom passed over her tender face. "Let's go back, Oleg. I don't want to come back here again."

And then let me remind you of a cutscene at the end of Belobog's Trailblazing mission, and don't mind me ending the transcript where I'm positive that Seele would have left if it hadn't been for the Astral Express, no matter what Bronya would've said. 'Empty words', after all:

Seele: ...Priorities? What do you mean? Are you saying rebuilding the Underworld isn't one of your "priorities"? Bronya: Of course not! I'm just saying we have limited assets, and we need new parameters. Seele: Assets... parameters... You sure love your fancy words. Seele: Ugh, forget it. Leave it to me. I'll go down myself... Bronya: ...Come on, Seele! I won't leave you to—
