Terrible US politicians spent this whole election season whipping up fears against trans people. I wanted to draw a team-up of "trans characters who would throw down to protect you." But with two vampire hunters and one vampire in the group, Ivy has to step up and protect them from each other.

I shaded the "~*~Artificial Intelligence~*~" panel using Clip Studio Paint’s “Shading Assist” feature, and used the Bing LLM chatbot for the Bitty Drone's lines.

Please don't use "AI" for any task where it matters if you do it right!

The title romance in Leif & Thorn has enough of an age gap that, if they had met 20 years earlier than in canon...? That would not have been attraction-at-first-sight.

Luckily, time passes, they're both adults now, and they're both very into each other.

Time-travel arcs, especially time-looping arcs, give you a lot of opportunities to save work by copy-pasting panels you’ve already drawn when that sequence of events repeats.

…and I could’ve done that with half the panels here, too! But I wanted Future Thorn’s journey to feel like it all flowed smoothly together. So all the references to his past appearances got redrawn.

...In retrospect, boy do I regret setting the Leif & Thorn Volume 7 campaign deadline on the Friday after a major election.
