Kinda controversial, but I'm so happy that mojang has continued to add cape designs.
Mostly because then that allows for elytra customization
#fork found in kitchen#tumblr user hidden-elytras likes the ability to customize elytras#i mostly use the cherry blossom cape rn and the migrators cape#I may add the twitch one to my roster depending on my mood#idk about the tiktok one though#not a fan of the stripes on the elytra#although it would probably look ok when open idk

Who is more into commoners vs idols/celebs?
Skz limiting beliefs
Can you do these in between husband series?
Ugh those guys just can't give a straight answer🙄💀
Who in Skz is more into celebs/commoners?
Chan: not a definitive answer, rather he says when the chemistry's there its there, doesn't really matter what the person is. Although i believe thats what he would say but how it actually is, is that he prefers having someone thats equal to him in the sense that they're both are on the same mental&emotional level. So thats a pretty big indicator for me that for serious stuff he probably leans towards celebs cuz they share a similar lifestyle and understanding of that life.
Lee know: bro just said none💀😂 although when i look past that there's a heavy commoner energy. It just feels simple. Theres no better word to describe the feeling. So i guess he's someone that appreciates simplicity in relationships especially and by logic commoners are simpler than idols or celebs.
Changbin: my guy tells me he likes people who reject him🥲🤡 he likes chasing after something he can't have. I had to pull 3 cards for him cuz bro kept repeating the same thing in each one. Idk guys, i guess he doesn't have a preference or if he does his need to chase and be rejected and wallow in his own tears and despair is way higher on his priority list when looking for a partner than if the person is famous or not🙃
Hyunjin: ehm so...he has had a pretty bad experience with someone so he's shaken in his preference. Idk which one it is tho. Once ahain clarification cards aren't of any help🥲 after long, long, long shuffling i finally got a card which gives me groups & peers vibe so maybe he tried something with a person from his circles and it wasn't good at all so now he's confused as to if he should remain open to idols or not. That being said, my guess is that for now he's keeping it low and kind of in the middle. Maybe not dating complete commoners, but also not celebs, maybe he's oriented himself towards influencers or something of that sort.
Han: Def commoners. He needs to be the star, to be admired, to get lots of attention and having many hypemans. Among other celebs he would be just one among many, but among commoners he's a star. And he lives that. So his choice in partners also def reflects that.
Felix: he likes a good variety. A bit of everything. So i think he may not habe a solid preference but rather be in the mood for this today, and net week in the mood for the other. Yk. For now his new "mood" is wise people. I think he's really into that - people who see through others shit, who cant be fooled easily, who can teach him a lot and have a "godly aura".
Seungmin: he likes celebs, well mannared and pretty. Also may not necessarily be entertainment celebs like idols. Could be actors, ceos, owners of something, just affluent people with status, means, manners and just overall are a "good, valueable contribution to society".
I.N: so either he's saying he likes heartbreakers or that he's a heartbreaker. Boy what?! Ok i think a commoner may have broken his heart so now he's gotten cold towards them or something. Maybe he wants to repay now in ignoring "them" and focusing and considering only options that are more affluent.

gruvia drabble
author’s note: HI!!! ok so im here. im risen. im inspired. here’s something FUNNYYYY about the inspo for this… so its based off of a theory from an anti gr*via post LMAOOO this feels soooo bitchy but i swear to GOD it is not a call out it is just genuinely something that gave me inspiration. so basically an anti said that gray doesnt actually have feelings for juvia and he is just saying that he does because he feels indebted to her for saving his life. sorta kinda something like that. im not gonna go back and look bc tbh i may have blocked the account? JFJDKDJDJ idk. anyways. here’s this. you’ll see where my heads at in a sec bc ur probably like “ok so how tf is that gonna be a gruvia fic” just WAIT ok my gears are turning. this one is a lot longer (and possiblyyyyyy OOC but in my defense!!!!!!!!! picture how gray would act if he were in an established relationship with juvia. like boyfriend girlfriend. for six months.) than it should have been BUT lets call it even for my million year hiatus. ENJOY BABIES!
~
Although Juvia had hardly gotten any sleep this past night, rolling around in her sheets all night with excitement, she certainly walked with a spring in her step when she eagerly made her way to the local convenience store.
She would’ve been lying if she said she hadn’t thought about setting up camp outside the little shop that night so that way she could hold those glorious, glossy, pieces of paper bound together by glue as soon as physically possible. Fortunately, she was reasoned with when Gray quickly pointed out the ridiculousness of the notion after she had brought it up to him as a genuine idea.
Making sure to get up bright and early the day of the big release would do. As long as she would be the first person in the store with the very first copy of that week’s edition of Sorcerer Magazine in her hands, she would be content.
Naturally, Gray initially rejected the idea. It was so completely and irrevocably unlike him. An interview about himself, just him, was a tall order, but an interview with him and Juvia, as a couple? There wasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell. For Gray, opening up to the people closest to him was hard enough. Even finally getting the nerve to ask Juvia on a date was something that took a great deal of time and effort. Things so personal like this were hard for him.
All these years in Fairy Tail, and he’s hardly spoken more than a few sentences to Sorcerer Magazine, let alone sitting down for a tell-all interview.
Unfortunately for him, his enthusiastic water mage was over the moon when Sorcerer Magazine reached out to them for an interview.
Public displays of affection were never Gray’s strong suit, and after finally realizing his feelings for Juvia, he still isn’t a fan. As much as he would deny it, he had become quite a softy with Juvia behind closed doors, but as soon as those doors open, he retreats back to his shell-like and cool exterior.
Even after a good six months of dating, Juvia really didn’t mind. It’s not like he acted like he didn’t know her. They went on dates, they were finally an official item, and he would even do subtle things like resting his hand lightly on her leg under the table at the guild hall or give a “Love you, see you later” loud enough for Happy to hear even knowing he’ll snicker and tease Gray about it for the next few minutes.
All in all, they were both content with the amount of their relationship they let others see.
So something like an interview with a very popular magazine would certainly throw a wrench in all of that for Gray.
But Juvia begged, and begged, and begged, and finally, once they came to an agreement about the types of questions they would answer and the depth of their answers, Gray agreed to the interview. After all, it would make her happy, and he was comfortable enough with himself and his self esteem at this point to be able to do this for her.
Juvia was elated with how the interview went. Of course, she had done most of the talking, but she was happy to do so. She tried her best to hold back on doting too much as to save Gray some embarrassment, and she thought she mostly succeeded. Even when questions got a little personal, like asking about how Juvia got the scar on her side (of course, with her new stripping habit when in battle, her scar is easily visible for large enough periods of time), she answered as succinctly and lightly as possible while still giving an honest answer.
So to say the headline that Juvia saw that morning plastered on the front of that cold and stiff magazine was horrifying was an understatement.
“Gray and Juvia: Girlfriend or Guilt Trip?”
Juvia wasn’t sure how many times the clerk at the store had asked “Miss? Are you alright?” before her consciousness finally came back into this orbit. She blinked for the first time in what may have been minutes, and looked up at the clerk. Without giving a reply, she looked back down at the magazine, and saw the picture they used, which was Juvia clinging to Gray, wrapped around his arm.
Gray’s face in the picture became warped by a water droplet hitting the cover, and then another droplet, and then another. It wasn’t until she looked back up at the clerk who looked even more concerned than before that she realized those water droplets came from her eyes.
“Sorry.” She quietly said as she handed the magazine to the cashier so he could scan it, handed him a bill of some value that she wasn’t entirely sure of, took the magazine back into her trembling hand, and left the store without getting her change.
Juvia got back to her apartment even quicker than she got to the store that morning. Every part of her mind told her not to do it, not to read the magazine, but then why did she buy it? Her brain screamed at her to put it down, not to go to the page of that article, but then why did her fingers frantically flip to page 14, just as instructed on the cover?
Each word was not only a dagger to Juvia’s very soul, but also a twisted reasoning and explanation, that Juvia fully believed by the end of her read. She couldn’t quite make the words into sentences or the sentences into paragraphs but as she buried herself in her covers, some phrases repeatedly burned into her mind and punched her in the gut such as “clingy”, “desperate”, and “leech”.
The worst part of it all weren’t the attacks at Juvia, but it was what this all meant for Gray. He was trapped.
He was her prisoner.
A prisoner that was bound to her out of a crippling feeling of guilt and sense of responsibility.
She may have been in her bed writhing in agony and mortification over these words for hours until a bang on her apartment door jolted her back to reality.
“Juvia? You in there?” Said that voice she knew all too well. How could someone’s voice be both such a comfort and a misery? She needed to hear him more than anyone at this moment and yet, she couldn’t bear to hold him hostage for another second.
She hoped if she said nothing, he would go away. But this was not the case.
The door slowly opened. “Juvia? Are you here? I’m coming in.” She winced as his voice got closer, now coming from her living room.
Her apartment wasn’t very big, so he found her in her bedroom in the next few moments. All Gray could see was a lump that was seemingly her body, crunched up into a balled up position, bound under her covers. Not even her face was out.
He stood in her doorway, not wanting to fully intrude “So you are here. Good.” He said calmly. “I was kinda’ worried when you didn’t meet me at the cafe this morning like you said you would.” Juvia then remembered they had plans to get breakfast together, bright and early, so she could gush about their big debut as a couple. Those plans changed
“Oh.” She said softly. “Juvia is sorry Gray-sama.” She tried to speak as clearly as she could knowing her voice was muffled underneath her blanket. “Juvia didn’t feel well this morning.” She lied.
“Oh.” Gray replied. He took a step into the room. “You sick?” He stretched his neck over her a bit to see if he could get any sort of glimpse at her face, but to no avail.
“Yes.” Juvia sniffled, using her congestion from her tears as fuel for her lies. “Juvia thinks it’s just allergies.”
Gray raised an eyebrow. Something was off. “Allergies? Since when do you have allergies?”
Juvia remembered in this moment that lying was not one of her strong suits. She was far too unapologetically herself to ever lie about anything, and she was just plain bad at it. To say she doesn’t have a good poker face would be putting it lightly.
“Well— Um—!” The pitch in her voice jumped with nervousness. “This spring has been a really brutal one! Pollen has been all over the place, and it’s driving Juvia crazy!” She finished with a fake sneeze, sealing her fate.
“It’s November.” Gray said, dryly.
Juvia’s face lit up a red so bright, she was sure she was glowing from underneath her covers.
After a few more moments of no response as Juvia tried to think of her next plot, Gray spoke again. “And I know you wanted to see me at the crack ass of dawn so you could show me the newest Sorcerer Magazine edition.” Gray sat down at the edge of her bed. “Even if you were in an accident that tore off all your limbs, you would’ve been at that cafe, magazine in hand, ready to explode from excitement. There’s no way some sniffles would stop you.”
There was another pause. Juvia meekly responded. “Well. Since Juvia’s body is made of water, it’s actually impossible for me to have all my limbs torn off.”
Gray barely let her finish the sentence. “Juvia!” He snapped back, fed up with the antics.
“And what does it really matter?!” Juvia erupted from her covers, finally revealing her swollen eyes, puffy and blotchy face, and ratted hair to Gray, whose eyes softened with concern. “It’s not like Gray-sama wants to have to wake up at 7:00 AM to meet Juvia for breakfast anyway! Just for Juvia to show you a magazine that I made you be apart of against your will.” Her eyes were welling with tears.
Gray was taken aback. His eyes widened with surprise and confusion. “Well-“
“Don’t deny it.” She cut him off. “We both know it’s true.” Tears dripped down her hot cheeks. “Just like it’s true how Juvia clings to you, and suffocates you, and even forced you into a relationship.”
“Whoa!” Gray sat up straight, and turned himself more to position himself facing her on the bed.
“And I always thought Gray-Sama just finally let Juvia in.” She interrupted him again, and gripped the sheets of her bed within her fists. “But it’s got nothing to do with that.” She looked down and gritted her teeth.
“Gray-sama feels indebted to Juvia since Juvia saved his life.” She clenched her eyes shut, and felt tears melt from her eyes in pools.
Her tense body jolted and almost instantly released tension as she felt Gray’s sturdy hands grab onto the sides of her arms, clutching her.
Juvia opened her eyes and looked up to find him just an arm’s distance’s length from her, staring at her with so much intent it almost looked like anger.
“What the hell are you talking about?” His voice is low and gravelly. Juvia was glad her eyes would cloud with more tears so she didn’t have to see his dark eyes piercing into her. She looked away.
“The magazine.” She pulled one of her arms from Gray’s grasp and pulled the magazine in question out from under the covers where it rotted away with her minutes ago.
Shamefully, she held Sorcerer Magazine out to Gray who promptly took it from her hands. She was brave enough to watch his face as he first locked eyes with the cover, but wasn’t brave enough for anything else. She saw his scowl quickly scan the bold words and looked back down as she squeezed her eyes shut.
This was it. The end. He would see those red capital letters shouting at him, telling him “Run!”, and he would heed the advice. Of course he would. The magazine was right, after all. He would turn to page 14 just as eagerly as Juvia did and read, in gruesome detail, the truth of their relationship. At least after all of this, he would finally be free from her venomous clutches. He would be absolved of all guilt, now that the article plainly told him the truth of their situation. He would no longer have to pretend-
CRRSHH.
Juvia’s cruel daze was broken by the sounds of Gray tearing the magazine in half.
And then another half, and then one more half for good measure.
“Gray-Sama!” Juvia exclaimed, shocked.
“What a load of shit.” Gray said plainly, but with distinct irritation in his voice.
“But! You didn’t even read the article! It explained how-“
“I don’t give a fuck.” He interrupted and finally made eye contact with her once again once the magazine was finally in enough pieces to do no more harm.
“Well, you should.” Juvia looked down at the shards of Sorcerer Magazine.
“And why is that?”
“Because it all made sense. From start to end. Our relationship. I clung and clung and clung to you, and when I saved your life, you had no choice but to break for me. You felt like you owed me something. And that debt was big enough to do something as crazy as convince yourself that you love me.” Although Juvia explained the situation plainly and logically, her own words were like poison in her mouth, as tears had no choice but to fill her eyes again. She looked up at Gray who was at a loss for words.
This was good. There was nothing left to say. She smiled softly at the thought of their departure, and thus, Gray’s freedom. She knew she needed to swallow her tears, so she did.
“It’s ok.” She shook her head with her smile still curled through her lips. “You don’t have to force yourself to do this anymore. The debt is repaid. These last six months Juvia has spent with you have been filled with enough love to keep me content for a lifetime. We can go back to being friends, and we can both be happy.” Juvia paused and watched Gray’s brow furrow.
“Thank you for everything, Gray-sama. Loving you this closely for this long has been everything Juvia has ever wanted.” She closed her eyes, and a single tear crept through. She smiled thinking about how even though they won’t be together, she will love him for the rest of her life, and that was more than she ever deserved.
“That’s enough.” Was all Gray said as he used one hand to pull her head directly towards him onto his shoulder, and he wrapped the other around the middle of her back. They were positioned awkwardly because of how they were sat on the bed, but Gray didn’t care or even notice.
“Have you officially lost your mind?” Was his next question, and his tone was still low, but a bit softer.
“Eh?” Juvia was at a loss for words. How did she en up in his arms?
“I knew this stupid interview was a bad idea.” He grumbled, talking to himself, but obviously for Juvia to hear. “It’s a magazine. Of course they would twist our words into whatever made for a juicier story.”
“But-“
“Juvia,” Gray cut her off and sighed. He grabbed her by her shoulders, putting her back at arm’s length, and looked directly at her. “Here’s the truth.” He said certainly. Juvia’s eyebrows clenched with confusion.
“I’m not with you because I feel like I owe you anything. I’m with you because you’re clingy, you’re relentless, and you’re obnoxious about what you want, which is me.” Gray was serious. Juvia looked down in embarrassment.
Gray gently swept her bangs out of her face, and his hand traveled to her cheek where he cupped her face. She had no choice but to look back at him.
“And I wouldn’t want it any other way.” He finally smiled, and Juvia’s heart oozed.
“What?” She whispered.
“You’re the most passionate, determined, loyal, genuine, kind person I’ve ever met in my entire life. You were the person who showed me that not only did I deserve love, but I was capable of loving. After all the people I lost, I had walls on top of walls on top of walls. And one by one, you broke each barrier down with a smile in your face.” He used a thumb to swipe away a tear, and Juvia let out a chuckle.
“Never in my life did I think I would think about stuff like romance or love. I was too scared. Now I think about having an actual future with somebody. And I know for sure that somebody is you.” Gray was saying things that Juvia only heard in her wildest dreams.
“Really?” Juvia grabbed onto the hand that held her face.
Gray nodded. “The way you’ve loved me has showed me how to love, Juvia. It took me awhile to get that, but I got it.”
He paused. He looked at the shred of magazing beneath him. “Not only is the person who wrote this article too stupid to know that I would never do something I don’t want to do or be with someone I don’t want to be with, but they’re also too stupid to know that you are the best thing in my life. A ‘guilt trip’ couldn’t be further from the truth.”
Juvia smiled, and instinctively her hand reached down for her scar, remembering how her sacrifice to save Gray’s life was what brought forth that term. Guilt trip. Gray took note of her hand placement, and knew she was thinking about this.
“Yes, you saved my life, and that may have been the moment that changed everything for me— for us, but not because I felt like I owed you, but because seeing how close I came to losing you made me realize that life is short. And up until then, I had spent all that time pushing everything off when I should’ve been letting you in. That moment made me finally realize that.” He looked at her deeply. “And I know I love you.”
“I love you too, Gray-sama.” Juvia finally allowed herself to melt in his arms, and he wrapped her up in his warm embrace.
“Y’knowww~” Juvia almost sang. “Saying you see a future with Juvia is practically the same thing as a proposal.” She snuggled closer into him.
“Alright, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.” Gray reflexively replied.
Juvia giggled and nuzzled even further into Gray’s chest. “Thank you, Gray-sama.”
Gray and Juvia held each other for a little while longer as the discards of Sorcerer Magazine crumpled and bunched up within the covers where they sat, but they didn’t care.
They let the words be buried beneath them.

in your eyes
idol bf!jungwoo x afab idol!reader
angst, fluff (kinda not really, idk)
req: idol!jungwoo x idol!reader where 127 and the reader are preparing to release a song together and while they’re taking a break from practice the reader finds out that her new manager has been selling her info to sasaengs (one being a guy that’s been harassing her on multiple different occasions) and jungwoo and the guys comfort her (quick a/n: I did make some tweaks and changes to this, sorry.)
summary: keeping things with your boyfriend under the radar has been harder these days, and it doesn’t help that you have a collab stage / song coming out with his group soon. you’re already under a lot of pressure with this and your own group activities, too. it only becomes more stressful when your phone gets bombarded with calls and texts from unknown numbers and you uncover why that is...
wc: 3.6k
cw: allusions to reader getting harassed through phone calls and messages (stalking?)
now playing: ♫ in your eyes - jessie ware ♫
it is so hard to focus. you feel like your body is going to collapse in on itself. although, it is embarrassing to admit to yourself, this is probably the most intense choreography you have performed in your entire career.
all the other members look normally exhausted once the song finishes, but you, on the other hand, are about ready to hit the ground full force and never wake up. you are huffing and puffing, cheeks red, and chest heaving.
you try to keep it cute and classy in front of your coworkers—who also happen to be your friends—and try not to make a scene of how utterly winded you are. nonetheless, your legs wobble as you slowly kneel down on the cold practice room floor to catch your breath.
you breathe in and out to mute out the chatter they have going on and try to get your heart to stop beating out of your ribcage.
all of a sudden, though, you feel a familiar hand caress your shoulder, so you turn to look at your boyfriend, jungwoo, who is visibly trying his best not to laugh at you.
“take this, looks like you need it,” he says, handing you an opened plastic water bottle.
you snatch it with a quickness and chug it like you had just found an oasis in a desert.
“damn girl it’s not going anywhere,” haechan teases from behind.
“hey man, leave her alone,” jaehyun chimes in, his words still tinged with laughter.
you are halfway through with the bottle when you decide that is enough. your boyfriend just continues to caress your shoulder as the boys talk amongst themselves in the background.
“you ok, baby? we can step outside for a moment if you need it,” he soothes.
you shake your head and reply, “it’s ok. I’m fine.”
“you promise?” his other hand then reaches towards your chin so that you’re face-to-face with him.
“promise,” you say, cheeks turning red again, but because of jungwoo this time.
he leans in for a quick peck on your lips. and you end up leaning into him more for another one. you nearly forget the world surrounding you and the fact that there are other people in the room when loud voices bring you down to reality.
“sorry to interrupt your makeout sesh guys, but we need to run the dance a few more times,” taeyong speaks up.
“just one more minute”
“you guys just wasted five eating other’s faces out. sorry, but no.”
“but—”
“we have to follow our leader’s instruction, baby, come on,” jungwoo says.
he stands up and then stretches his hand out for you.
“ugh, you guys suck,” you whine as you accept the help from your boyfriend off of the dance room floor.
“you know you love us,” yuta says jokingly.
you just roll your eyes as you walk into position for the dance.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘˗ˏˋ ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ˎˊ˗∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
practice is over way sooner than you would’ve thought. and surprisingly, you’re not as tired as you thought you would be.
but still, when jungwoo asks if you want to hang out with him and the guys after, you turn him down.
“honestly, I just want to shower and go to sleep. I have to wake up early tomorrow anyway for dress rehearsals.”
“I know, baby. I just thought I’d ask anyway,” he says. “you want me to walk you to the dorm?”
“acutally, [group member] is coming to get me and we’ll go home together. you can leave, I’ll wait for her here.”
“we can just walk now. it’s not far. the guys wouldn’t mind waiting, you know.”
“you don’t have to. and I want you to have fun… so go!”
you smile, shooing him away with your hand, he just looks at you with his adoring, signature puppy eyes—he looks so cute.
“well, I guess so. just call me if anything comes up, ok. love you,” he says before coming up to you and leaving a sweet kiss on your forehead.
“love you too,” you say as he walks off.
as your boyfriend strides away with his groupmates, you stare at him lovingly and even wave when he turns back to look at you one more time.
once they are gone, you stick around a while longer before taking the elevator down to the first floor of the company building. you unlock your phone to see if [group member] has texted you. however, your screen is flooded with missed calls from an unknown number. and then, as always, your heart drops to your stomach.
not again, you think to yourself. there’s no way.
you fear that this is the same person you have tried so hard to ignore. among the call notifications, there are—as always—ominous threats through text messages that go along the lines of “you need to answer me,” “pick up,” or “I just want to talk to you.”
it is the same vicious cycle. you have gone through several phone numbers at this point, and blocked so many of theirs, and yet they always crawl back and find a way to infiltrate your peace and serenity.
you decide it is best to not think too much about it.
when the elevator doors open, you find somewhere to stand awkwardly as you wait. then you just screenshot the evidence, block, and delete. you then call [group member] to see if she is on the way, but it goes straight to voicemail.
you just want to go home already. when five minutes turns to ten, then fifteen, and then twenty, you become increasingly more irritated. you pace around the building’s lobby / main floor with anxiety as your mind starts to reel about that person again.
how do they keep getting your number without fail? who are they? and what do they want from you? can’t they just stop?
before you can spiral more though, [group member] drags you back into reality with the familiar sound of her loud ass sandals that she always wears.
“y/n!!” she says, her hand reaching out to grab yours.
you don’t even say anything to her and just walk out of the building, the annoying clack, clack, clack trailing behind.
“hey, I’m sorry. me and the girls were watching tv and I fucking lost track of time. I even left my phone at the dorm in a rush to get you now.”
there’s no point in directing your feelings onto her, you realize, so you just sigh.
“I understand. it’s been a rough day, I’m not gonna lie. do you mind if we just walk in silence?” you say, trying your best to keep the tone of your voice calm and collected.
“you don’t wanna talk about it?”
“not really.”
she just nods.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘˗ˏˋ ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ˎˊ˗∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
you didn’t even get to shower. you just knocked out as soon as your body hit the comfort and safety of your bed.
the next morning your alarm wakes you up with its usual uninviting and unwanted noise.
you groan as you head towards the bathroom to freshen up. the image that looks back in the mirror is a hot mess. you rub your eyes but that just makes you even more tired.
it’s going to be a long day, you think to yourself.
your group members are running all over the place as you all get ready in a hurry. only six total yet it feels like complete chaos.
somehow, you all stuff yourselves into the car where the designated company driver takes you girls to wherever it is you need to be (you were too tired to even check).
once the car stops at the location, your manager opens the door and urges you girls to hurry inside to meet the stylist which catches you off guard. meet? you’ve already met the stylist because it’s been the same one the past few comebacks.
you ask your manager if it is someone new but he seems busy texting someone that he practically ignores you and shoos you off with his hand.
you just internally roll your eyes and catch up with the rest of the girls.
and it was, in fact, a new stylist.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘˗ˏˋ ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ˎˊ˗∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
dress rehearsals go just a little horribly as they do—it comes within the territory, having others measure and prod at your body. but after all is said and done, you and your members are loaded up into the car once again. this time, your manager joined in with you guys.
he sits right next to you in this already cramped space. he asks how it was with the new stylist and you all agree that it was good (but not great—the other one was better.)
you ask the reason for the sudden change and he just says it was the company’s decision, not his.
not entirely satisfied with this answer, though, you decide not to press further. the girls begin to talk about something else as sleep starts to creep up on you.
you begin to doze off, their chatter fading away like a distant song. however, as your eyes grow heavy from the sleepiness, you faintly see a blurry view of your manager’s phone. and at first, you think your mind is playing games with you. that couldn’t possibly be…
you “sober” up and there is now adrenaline coursing through you as you realize your suspicions are coming to life right before your own eyes.
the blocked number from yesterday is now blowing up your manager’s phone with messages. and worse, he is replying with no care in the world that you are literally right next to him. he must have not noticed you wake up.
you feel sick to your stomach.
this whole time… it was him. it was this man who was violating your safety and privacy by giving out your number… every. single. time.
you knew this was true just from the messages he was replying back with: “I’ll give you her new number once she changes it as usual… just give me more time… I need more time… she must act first before I do… understand please.”
you should scream, confront him, do something. but no, your body is paralyzed with fear and shame. no, it is shock—and the overwhelming feeling of betrayal.
instead, you continue to fake sleeping in order to not cause a scene.
in what felt like a few more agonizing moments, the car stops and finally drops you girls off at the dorm. however, you cannot shake the feeling of dread looming over you like a rainy cloud.
as you get off and walk to the dorm entrance, you look back to your manager. through the tinted car window, you can still see him looking down—at what must be his phone, still texting that person you presume.
you turn away and fight back tears.
the girls seem to notice that something is wrong but just assume you’re tired and leave you to your own devices. unfortunately, for once, you just wanted to talk to someone.
once in your room, you sit on your bed and stare off into a white wall, contemplating what you should do. or rather, replaying all the events of yesterday and today and regretting everything you did not do.
and then your phone rings.
no…
your heart drops. not again… it’s not possible.
but relief washes over you as you realize it is none other than your cute boyfriend’s name on the screen—adorned with a signature puppy emoji and a pink heart.
you pick up immediately.
“hi, baby, are you doing anything right now?’ he asks.
you can hear his group mates yelling about something in the background.
“no, not right now, no,” you say, trying to mask the shakiness of your voice. “I just got out of dress rehearsals and I should be free for the rest of the day. what’s up?”
“well, taeyong wanted to know if we could squeeze in just one more hour of practice today. he thinks we just need to focus on the last part of the song, if that’s ok.”
“uhhh… oh yeah, of course. that’s no problem…” you say, rubbing your temples.
“you’re awesome, baby! he’s gonna appreciate this so much!”
“ok, I’ll see you soon.”
“love you!”
“love you too.”
you hang up.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘˗ˏˋ ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ˎˊ˗∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
you are too exhausted still for practice but you do need the distraction from this… situation, to put it simply.
the boys are all excited to see you grace them with your presence as you walk through the practice room doors.
“here comes the princess to our beloved prince!” yuta says with a hearty laugh.
jungwoo runs up to you and embraces you in his arms. he has no idea just how much you needed that. he pulls away quickly though and then grabs you by the hand, dragging you over to the others.
“we can talk later. right now, we need to get this number down. we only have a couple more days to perfect this guys… and girl…” taeyong says, pausing and then directing his glance to you at that last part.
“girls, you mean…” you peer over to haechan.
“w-what? what am I catching a stray for?”
“from the other day, I didn’t forget,” you laugh.
the others laugh too and jokingly hit haechan.
“yeah, yeah, whatever,” he says.
and like clockwork, you guys get into formation, ready to follow taeyong’s instruction.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘˗ˏˋ ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ˎˊ˗∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
“you’re lagging behind.”
“you’re going too early on that part.”
“you’re too stiff.”
“your footwork isn’t right.”
the comments and critiques from the leader are pouring in like a waterfall. and it doesn’t help that the fear and dread from earlier are now glowing with a vengeance in your mind.
and then, the room begins to feel suffocating. the redness burning in your face and ears only fuels the tears in your eyes more.
don’t fucking cry, don’t fucking cry, don’t fucking cry, you repeat to yourself. you can’t do this—not in front of them.
“what’s going on y/n?”
“your head isn’t in the game.”
“pull yourself together, you know this.”
he is right and that fact makes you even more frustrated. as he watches you and two other members run the last part of the song, he only critiques you because you just keep on messing up.
the music grew louder in your eyes and everything just became so overwhelming. you reached your breaking point.
this. was. it.
you trip over your legs and fall onto the ground. you feel the pain jolt from your knees and then reverb to your head.
and you could not help it anymore and start crying pathetically on the practice room floor. your hands rush to conceal your face. you cannot bear to let these men see you like this.
however, you can hear them all rush towards you. and then you feel some hands on your head and back.
“are you ok, y/n? I didn’t mean to push you too far…” taeyong says apologetically, and what you assume must be his thumb caressing the top of your head.
you can’t even answer him. you want to tell him that it is not his fault, but your sobs are violent and restrict you from getting a proper sentence out.
from behind, you hear your boyfriend’s sweet voice: “it’s ok, baby, let it all out.” he continues to rub comforting circles on your back which makes you cry more.
and embarrassingly enough, you cry and you cry in front of them as they offer you words of assurance and encouragement—mainly from your boyfriend who is doing his best to comfort you.
finally, you gather the confidence to remove your hands from your face and look at the concerned faces of the men in front of you.
you know you look horrendous at the moment but that doesn’t matter when you turn around and your boyfriend looks at you like you are the most beautiful girl in the world.
he kisses you and gives you a tight hug.
“are you ok now?”
“yeah… yeah, I think I am good,” you answer. you keep rubbing the tears away from your red cheeks. “I-I’m really sorry about that…” you say with an embarrassed laugh.
“hey, there’s no need to apologize. it happens…” doyoung smiles at you as he stands behind jungwoo.
“is there something going on that you’re not telling us?” haechan prods.
you catch doyoung elbowing the boy in an attempt to shut him up and mouthing a faint shut up. obviously, he does it out of respect for you. however, you know that you must open up to someone about what you have been enduring and they might be your best bet.
so the tears fall again, but this time you are able to tell them the dark secret that you have been hiding to yourself. and once you are done, they look at you with mutual pity and understanding—like they all have once been in your shoes before.
“y/n, I’m so sorry about that…” taeyong says.
“why… why didn’t you tell me, love?” jungwoo says, hurt that you did not trust him with something important like that.
“I just didn’t want you to worry,” you confess.
“this is very serious, y/n,” jaehyun chimes in.
“yeah, y/n, we’ve all dealt with weirdos before but this is a different level,” johnny says.
“you’re fucking manager has been doing dirty work behind your back this whole time??” haechan says, as if he was just catching on to what was happening.
“yes, haechan,” doyoung sighs, rubbing his temples like he was agitated at the boy. “look, y/n, no one deserves to go through this, and especially to go through this alone. I’m angry that it took you this long to tell any of us, but I’m glad you spoke up about it anyway.”
“I agree, it is very brave of you, y/n,” mark says, who is usually quiet when you are around.
“thank you guys,” is all you can muster.
“we’re here for you,” yuta says.
“ok guys, I think that’s enough practice for now and we should call it off for now. we can pick things up tomorrow,” taeyong says.
the group agrees unanimously and they all start to grab their things and head out, leaving you and your boyfriend alone in the practice room.
when the final member leaves, you both are left sitting alone on the practice room floor.
your boyfriend looks at you with a weird expression—like anger and love mixed into one.
“are you mad at me?” you ask.
“why would I be mad?” he says. “I’m just… I just want you to be more honest with me. you know I love you and care about you so much.”
“I know. I love you too, woo.”
he reaches for your hand and brings it to his lips, planting soft kisses—ones that always calm you down when you need it. and after, he uses his thumb to trace an outline of them, almost as if to seal it to your skin: seal his love for you in his own way. you feel like you could cry again. you don’t know what you would do without.
“thank you for being so understanding,” is all you can muster up, but there is so much love dancing in your heart that just remains unspoken because words alone could not describe it.
“I’ll always be there for you, love. don’t you ever forget that,” he whispers before leaning in to kiss you again.
his big, loving hands then reach for your blushing cheeks as he pulls closer into the kiss. you melt right into it. he feels like home—like safety. he is your safety net, always has been and always will be.
“we will figure this out,” he says when he pulls away.
“look at me,” he commands, noticing how your eyes immediately gaze away from him. “we will get through this… together,” he reassures once you stare at his face which somehow gets more beautiful with each passing day. his ability to make you feel so secure is one of the things that made you fall for him.
“come on, let’s get outta here,” he whispers.
he hoists you up from the floor and laughs as you almost fall back down because your legs had fallen asleep from sitting too long.
you stretch your body out for a little bit and then start walking towards your bag. however, you feel his hand grab your wrist and turn you around as he pulls you in. and now your face is right in front of his chest.
his other hand snakes around your waist and reels you closer into him. you look up at him to see him give you a mischievous yet endearing smile.
“let’s just do oneee last dance. is that alright with you, darling?”
“actually, I would really love that,” you laugh.
he lets go of your wrist and holds your hand firmly in his. you take your other hand and rest it on his shoulder.
“wait, but we don’t have music, baby.”
“we’re both singers, darling.”
“well yes–”
“you just follow my lead,” he says.
“o-ok.”
from the first two words that escape his lips, you knew exactly what he was doing. he was singing the song he dedicated to you on your first year anniversary—one he had specifically written for you. his sweet, precious voice sings to you and it reminds you that there truly is nothing better in this world than having someone like him in your life.
in your eyes, he is perfection, and you know, and his eyes, you are the same.
you rest your face in his chest as you both sway back and forth, slowly dancing to the song that echoed the very essence of your love.

a/n: posting after a rather spontaneous hiatus. so basically... life is kicking my ass and it has killed any creativity, imagination, or motivation for writing. I have had this request since APRILLLL and I am barely getting this posted. I just don't normally write stuff that is not smut, so this was a challenge. I really tried, I really did. I know this sucks but this was my first ever request and I wanted to see it all the way through. I hope whoever requested this ends up enjoying it. so so so sorry for the delay and any mistakes that you might see :( I will try to do better.

“Boys will be boys” headcannons, you say?
Well speaking as a teenage boy who’s done a few dumb things, here’s a couple:
-Soda definitely doesn’t wear a shirt in the summer. Any time it’s hot out, he’s ditched it (genuinely dunno how folks survive summer WITHOUT doing this tbh)
-Steve gets real pissy when he doesn’t win at things. Like if you beat him at poker he’ll tackle you. He sees this as re-establishing dominance. Everyone else sees it as Steve being a dumbass.
-Speaking of Steve, he seems like the sort to punch things when he’s mad. So does Dally. Just like…random walls and whatever. Throwing things too. I imagine it would scare Pony a bit at first, although by the time the book takes place, he’d be relatively unphased
-(movie!steve, ‘cuz in the movie he’s like 5’7) Steve used to be tall as a kid, like taller than Soda, Two-Bit, and Dally, and he’d make fun of them for being short. Then in like sophomore year of high school Soda and Dally get tall and Steve stays the same height. Soda is nice about it- but Dally mocks him for it non-stop
(Huh okay that’s a lot of Steve. I’ll shut up about him lol)
-Dally and Johnny once tried to make chocolate cake out of boredom. Somehow it turned into trying to light fireworks in the Curtis’s kitchen sink. Mrs. Curtis was pissed
-Sodapop and Darry tried to build a treehouse in the backyard as kids. It was just a piece of wood that they taped to a branch. Pony was still really impressed and bragged about it to his friends at school even though it was really lousy
-Two-Bit likes to say he’s won “every game of pool he’s ever played”, because he played once years ago and won due to a stroke of beginner’s luck. He refuses to play again now because he’ll “lose his perfect winning streak”
-Steve and Sodapop used to talk about hopping onto a freight train and going on adventures together “out in the Wild West”. Both of them low key still kinda want to
-Dally secretly wants to be a cowboy. Not like Buck, but like a Clint Eastwood type cowboy. Would die before saying so out loud
-Soda and Ponyboy have saved a few injured animals, like raccoons and whatever, and every time they do they try to convince Darry to let them keep it as a pet. Soda came real close once, and hid an injured lizard in his room for a month, but eventually Darry found it and forced him to free it
-Johnny was bored once and built a fort in the old lot, and him and Pony and Dally hung out in it until the cops made them take it down
-Sodapop, Two-Bit, and Steve once tried to start a band. It was terrible, because Soda and Two-Bit are too lazy to bother learning an instrument. Steve was okay because he could sing pretty well, but he sucked at the guitar he was trying to play too, and it all fell apart. Dally told them he’d pay them money to never play music again
okay, that’s probably enough for now- but yeah, there’s a few. Idk how much they stuck to the prompt, but whatever lol
all of these are biblically accurate, congrats 😭😭 especially johnny and sally making fireworks like that’s the only time mrs curtis yelled at any of the gang-dally is such a bitch in the last one tho like i know they were all like ten and he was twelve and he was just like “yeah never open your mouths again here’s ten bucks for each of ya buy yourself sonethin’ nice” like ok dally 😭😭soda and pong have straight up come home with a baby bobcat and darry was like “PUT THAT BACK ITS MOM IS LOOKING FOR IT 😡”
these are all canon trust

Now Introducing...
the one
the only
QUEEN AGATHA
(OR AMAYA BASICALLY)
(ALSO THANK YOU @signed-sapphire @sewerpalette @pennysucks FOR YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE DESIGN. IT WAS A MASSIVE HELP AND JUST THANK YOU IN GENERAL. IDK HOW TO THANK YOU GUYS BUT I'M FOREVER AND EVER GRATEFUL TYTYTYYTYTY)
ok...
Lets talk about her now shall we?? 😘
(FW: MINOR GORE)
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
Before we begin, Agatha is by no account, Amaya's replacement. Now here is the thing. Amaya is really cool...in drafts. But in cannon, Amaya is nothing more than a plot device to get the teens in the castle and only exists to be Magnifico's replacement in the cannon film once the whole kingdom goes down so Asha doesn't take up the reins of being Queen. Not only that she didn't have a lot of personality or any character in the film. In all honesty, although she is inspired from the drafts of Amaya, her character conflict is very much different and not on par with the drafts. She also has more to her backstory that was not seen in the original drafts or even thought of. I just wanted to get that out of the way before I go in depth to her character. But lets get to the outfit, cause I think it was a pretty interesting thought processes ;)
Plus have you seen the jokes about Amaya or why I barely talk about her?? ITS BECAUSE SHE IS NOTHING. ZERO. EGG SHAPED. Why should I care about her when I barely know anything about her like bro, giving her a moral delehmia of staying with Magnifico or joining the resistance would have been so much more interesting and gives more substance. Probably why I dont like Amaya at all. She lacks substance.
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
Agatha has Greek/European inspirations to her design! I had a ton of problems when getting the design together, merely the fact that I didn't like the outfit given in film or didn't find any that really fit her for what I was going for. Even though I didn't know what I was going for, I just didn't like that style given in the films, or hell, even in the drafts (the dull colors didn't even help since there was so much vibrancy in medeivel times)
Thats when I had the most randomest idea and just said: "Fuck it" and then I decided to combind Greek and European outfits into one.
My inspirations were from these images I found on google and pinterest:
So this is how the dress works or merely my thought process on how it came out this way!
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
Numro Uno
As ideas was setting into place, I noticed a trend among both sets of the outfits. I'm mainly refuring to the top shape to the outfit.
When taking a look at the European Outfits, that have what I would say, a more triangle shape, which the same can be applied to Amaya's outfit as well.
Meant to put curves down, but you get the point.
For Greek outfits, there was more of a square shape doing on at the top of the outfits.
Not only that, but the Greek clothing does not have the dress open up unlike some European outfits I saw. (not all of the European outfits I saw opened up near the bottom of the dress, only most of them did)
Either way, what I am trying to say is:
Greek Outfits = Square
European Outfits = Triangle
So when combinding them, I simply thougt of it being like this
Top: Square Shaped
Bottom: Triangle Shaped
ofc this is the final design...
What you guys want was my drafts!
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
In my sketches, at first since I didn't like how outfit wise, dresses didn't seem too work, so I wondered what she would look like if she wore pants 🤯
(You will notice that I kept the transparent cloak the entire time)
Although she looked BADASS (fucking hot oml) it felt more like smth she would wear during travels. That's the main ick, it just worked for something else, but not for what I am going for. However, Agatha does wear pants, but mainly when she is getting materials for her potions that are acessed outside the kingdom. And yes, I even thought about giving her a tail coat, but it wouldn't work for the time frame 💀💀💀
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
For these 2, I started playing with the top to get ideas and see if I wanted the transparent cloak at all (I did ofc she looks so badass (hot) in it)
I also drew her comforting Asha! (Which I will talk about her in the backstory section since I had to change it)
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
Hmmm this one does seem familiar now does it 🤨🤨
For this one in particular, although this was one I chose as a main base for the final draft, her top was more triangle shaped than square, which is what I was going for in the final design.
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
Thats when I started worrying about mobility. How much room would that dress have when she is moving quickly?
This one was to see what it would look like if she had more mobility in her outfit. Although she would...it didn't sit right with me. It just felt off. It could be the more triangle top I went for in this one, it just didn't work and didn't look good.
The one in the corner was me playing with "WHAT if Asha inspired outfit" lmao.
Nah didn't work.
So between those 3, a friend from my ASL 2 class saw my drawings, and I asked for his opinions on it. He said to go with the one I chose for the base. Although I don't necessarily remember much of what he said, he explained why this one was more appealing soooo thanks Z. 🔥🔥
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
This one was more of ofc using the drafts, but if she had sleeves. I intentionally removed them because it clashed with the cloak and didn't look good or work with what I was going for.
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
Now let's talk about color pallet! (Ik I'm going so much in depth than what I did for Asha, but imma be honest the whole process in on my tumblr. The amount of times I changed that girl's outfit is unfathomable 😭😭😭😭)
I'll be short, but the frills on her dress (the gold part) is supposed to signify a yellow rose. Cause...ROSE-AS ROSAS 😜😜😜
I did see if blue worked for the outfit, but for the warm toned color pallet I did for her, it really clashed. Soooooo GOLD FOR THE WIN BABYYYY
She also wears this gold leafy crown and it was between green and gold, and I'm still stuck between that, but this was the crown ykyk
Yes it is a Greek one, I just REFUSE to give her a ugly ass crown like I did for Maggy. (IM SO SORRY MAGGY I SWEAR ILL MAKE YOU A BETTER ONE)
Ahem....
Can we talk about her face?
Yes?
HELL YEAH.
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
(TW MINOR GORE)
So there is a stark difference between her past self and her current self when it comes to certain features.
For example, in her past, or "I am not at the brink of insanity" saga, her hair is braided, telling us she is in a good mental state at that point of time before her eye was scratched out (a dagger like cut through her face through her eye, literally popping it 💀). In the one I show you above in the "My eye is missing" stage, is what she would look like in her "Im not at the brink of insanity" saga minus the overlapping hair strands and the obvious missing eye. Also in that image, she has ash stuck in her hair from...THE INCIDENT (cough cough).
In her current self, her hair is obviously not braided actually showing us her current mental state. She is literally a huge mess, and her trauma has a huge effect on her mental health. She literally is not doing to well...until she met Asha (I'LL GET TO THAT I SWEAR). Agatha also has a white streak in her hair from a experiment gone wrong type of scenerio, where the potion she was brewing exploded something and landed on her forehead, hense the burn mark underneath the hair. Which is what gives it's unnatural hair color.
I was going for a beserk evil scientist vibe with her design, because she does go a bit crazy later in the story obv
Some other features I added was just adding a overall added sharpness to her, to actually resemble something like thorns in a way and to she perhaps she was EVILHSJkDLMNJHK 😜
The only features I sorta kept was her overall color pallet from Amaya for her hair, skin, eyes and her mole below her eye cause I thought it looked really cute.
And lastly, he is the character sheet for Agatha <3
Now that is out of the way, I'll get into the backstory portion...kinda...
I still wanna save some things for her for the story, but here are some notes/things you SHOULD ABSOUTLY KNOW about her
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°
NUMERO DOS
Agatha is the oldest sibling out of her 3 siblings. Her sister is really a few years younger than her and is in her young adult/late teens age wise. Her younger brother is in her pre-teens.
Her parents cut her off from all forms of contact after...yk...so she knows things about abandoment and how she felt, especially at the worse time in her life.
She and Magnus did NOT kill Asha's parents. IN FACT, they were very close friends, and met during their travels with Magnus! (I am firmly debating if Magnus ever founded a kingdom or he is royalty but I am not entirely sure yet but it would fix some weird things I found in the story)
She is a more organized person than her husband lol
Potion making is what she excels at ( one of the potions she made can blast lightning (inspired from hogwarts legacy))
She deeply cares for both Asha and Magnus with all her heart <3
Thats really it. I am ofc holding things close to my chest for backstory reasons and for story reasons since we will learn more about her from that point.
This is the part where for what I need to talk about, which is the Hamlet.
The Hamlet idea is so cool, I will admit it, but for how the story is progressing or my thought process of it, it creates plot holes. Not small ones, but GAINT plot holes.
I noticed this back when I was writing out the Magnifico Angst, which was why I put a hold on it to think about it. This was also when I was also concidering the duration of time taking place in my AU (which I am still having trouble with). I think past me did a pretty good job of explaining the way I felt about the Hamlet overall in my AU (this is from my 20+ drafts help):
It boils down to my dilemma with Asha's character right now. It's when she meets Maggy and Amaya and going off topic to talk about Asha too, is how she can become a better person after learning everything she knew is a lie.
Plus noticing some other plot holes like "how does maggy know dark magic kills stars?" Cause if he knows that dark magic kills stars, that would mean he had done it before so it is like 🤨
And it is very important to when Amaya takes in Asha. If Asha was one of the citizens that was there when the kingdom was destroyed, that is just...tragic overall and breaks some things 😭
I'll explain. If Asha saw everything that happened to Mag or basically was there to witness said event, she would have seen her parents basically evaporate into thin air as they shielded her. It makes some good trauma, and it does justify her reasons for not liking stars, I just don't like how it would play out in the story personally. It's good, but wouldn't it ruin the relationship between Star and Asha? PLUS, why would she wish on a star for things to change...oh wait that would make for a really good villain au fuck-
ANYWAYS, if it isn't...well then why was the hamlet there? I mean I could say that after decades of the kingdom going to shit, the citizens fled to the forest to hide in, but that brings up: why did Mag and Amaya destroy it in the first place? I entirely know why Amaya took in Asha, (it breaks me everytime help) but the whole hamlet thing in my au just kinda breaks. It also begs the question: why didn't they do anything to change what is going on in the kingdom, how did maggy and Amaya find out about it? And if they murdered some people, why not Asha (even though i know why Amaya took her in, doesnt it sound hypocritical? Like why spare her? Maybe they spared the children...idk) And going back to why Mag and Amaya destroyed the hamlet, if they did, it would be because they dont want any heretics, or a revolt. But if it is a revolt, it slids into why didnt they do anything to change...UNTIL THAT TIME IT TAKES PLACE?? And just the overall why of it all. And how it impacts Asha overall. I mean sure, she might remember some parts of her early childhood being in the hamlet, but she was six. She might not even remember all of it. So wouldn't ruin the pacing? Plus her character doesnt really resolve around the hamlet much if I'll be honest. I mean yeah, that can change ofc, and if it ends up her having to remember stuff from there, would it be significant to the overall plot??? For her character? (Idk her age, but) if she ends up being 18 in my au (its going from 18-19 rn lol), she has basically been living at the castle for 12 years 💀. Why would she want to remember things she wouldn't want to remember?? I guess maybe for wanting to learn the truth 💀💀
Lots of why's lmao.
Which is why I have to remove it. For pacing reasons, character reasons, and story reasons.
Agatha took Asha in for reasons. Not stating it here since I would like to make a animatic for that...but...man... :(
Kinda hurts for Agatha and Magnus since they KNOW HER PARENTS.
Massive womp womp
°•◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇•°

[Authors note - I found this in my drafts and decided to publish it cos I'm never gonna finish it. I'd appreciate any sort of feedback! Seriously, Tumblr notifications fill me with unbridled joy.]
Camping!!
Rise Raphael X GN!Reader
(Self-deprecation, teasing, implied romantic feelings, the very slightest bit of suggestiveness at the end <- does it even count? Idk)
Raphael sits next to you at the campfire, impaling a marshmallow with a roasting stick as he distractedly sings along to the music coming from Leo's speaker. The night is serene. A slight breeze ruffles the green grass and leaves around you all, and the stars and moon bathe everything in a silver light. The fire sparks and crackles.
Raph had pulled up a chair to sit next to you, even though he could have sat anywhere. Is that a sign? You glance at him nervously and look away just as quick. He doesn't notice, doesn't look at you with those big kind eyes of his. Hopeful expectancy, that's how he always looks at you. Like you're about to do a backflip or solve world hunger. You wonder if he finds himself disappointed when you're nothing special.
"Y/N? You good? You don't seem to be having fun." He snaps you out of your thoughts. His eyes look good in the firelight, and the corners of his mouth turns down in a worried frown that almost catches you off guard, or it would, if he wasn't so much of a sweetheart. It's been a while since he spoke. You can't just keep admiring him. You need to reply.
"Oh, um, no, I'm fine. Just lost in thought, zoning out. I tend to just stare into the fire and lose track of everything, you know?" You laugh, ha-ha, convincing, right?
He hands you a s'more, the marshmallow exactly how you like it, and you manage a small genuine smile that he returns. "Thanks, Raph..."
"It's no problem." He grins. "Man, it's nice that we get to be out in the open like this, without being too worried about being seen."
"I hope Splinter's ok." You say between bites of the delicious treat.
Donnie answers. "He'll be fine, I have S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. catering to his every desire."
"He's probably passed out on the couch as usual." Leo chuckles, his usual smirk accentuated in the firelight. Everyone laughs a little. "Not to change the subject, but where's your tent, Raph? It's not exactly where you left it, you know..."
Leonardo gives the most shit-eating grin, and Raphael looks so distressed that you look to where his tent used to be, and, low and behold, it wasn't there anymore. Raph is very audible, although he doesn't say anything at all, it's mostly stuttering and struggling to respond. His brothers laugh.
"How is that funny?" You almost laugh. It sounds like such a ridiculous think to laugh at. You look at Raph curiously.
"I-its just, um... y-you know... it could be dangerous out here! W-wolves and stuff! So I just, uh, just thought that maybe you shouldn't be all by yourself! Is... is all..." Raph makes out, visible sweating, causing his brothers to laugh. You can't tell if it's the orange firelight or his blush, and you hope it's the same for you, because you can faintly see his tent in the distant darkness; a few feet from yours. "You could get ramshackle-d!" He finishes.
"I do not think you even know what ramshackle means." Donnie looks at Raph with an expression of annoyance, and Mikey responds.
"Y/N seems like the kinda guy that would get ramshackle-d!"
"Man, I'll ramshackle your face!" You laugh, very grateful for the relief of awkwardness and glance at Raph, who looks absolutely anxious. You stare at him for a second. "It's getting late, I think I'll turn in now. Night, guys."
You walk into the dark, the chorus of "good nights" following you before the only sound you can hear is the crunching of rocks under your feet and Leo's annoying voice faintly saying, "I think your girlfriend wants you to go to bed now, Raph."
You blush and shake your head. Leo is a jerk, that much is certain. As for the rest of it...

Just thought up the other potential reactions from the g7 counterparts:
Alice would be curious, as always, of yuu because she’s never seen the queen of hearts just being patient-ish with someone. Also yuu is definitely much more normal (somewhat) unlike the rest of wonderland’s residents. She asks a lot of questions like child simba but because she just wants to know how and why this happened? Depending on the yuu, she might look up to them? Although that depends on who someone wants to characterize them.
Like you said, Ursula would try to keep yuu away from ariel but I think the same goes for king triton. So either they meet up by accident or one of them sneaks away to meet the other. Once they do finally meet, ariel wants to know all about yuu and but also probably asks them about human stuff (depending on how old she is). Yuu and ariel end up sharing stories for the whole time till they’re found. She might try to introduce them to the rest of the family, but probably doesn’t really go far intimately. They might eventually open up, but it either takes a lot of time and they don’t really have full trust or it just doesn’t happen at all. Is that cousin that you only see every other holiday at grandma’s house but despite that you guys are like best friends.
Like Snow, don’t got a lot of thoughts on aurora. I think she would just kinda neutral meeting yuu, honestly the whole interaction is her being just chill while talking to them. Depending on the relationship between she and maleficent is, Maleficent might introduce yuu to aurora herself or just kinda keeps an eye on them while they interact. The fairies absolutely distrust yuu and don’t want them anywhere near aurora.
Aladdin doesn’t trust yuu at all 100%, same goes with jasmine. He won’t be outright rude, but definitely goes out of his way to avoid them or keep any interactions short. Although does keep an eye on them to see how they interact with jafar. He would probably one of the last people they interact with and is either formally introduced to them through Hercules, Snow, or Aurora. He joins in on any antics that might happen but when alone with yuu, both are just sitting there awkwardly. Kinda like a going out friend and their friend you don’t really know and your friend left so you’re both waiting in silence for them to get back. If yuu and aladdin eventually get along, he’s that friend thats message you or you message to see if they want to go on a 3am mcdonalds run and than hang out in a walmarts parking lot afterwards.
And completely fair on misreading the first ask, I probably would’ve if I didn’t send it. Also sorry if I don’t got the characterizations right, it’s been a long time since I watched any classic Disney movie that wasn’t aristocats or robin hood.
I love Aladdin and Jasmin having beef with like 13 year old and is like "we don't trust you!!" "Damn what did I do???"
I feel like Ariels would be the most interesting. The two sneak out together realize who each other are and have conversations comparing things.
"You're never allowed to go to the surface?"
"It's dangerous, father says."
"Humans aren't so bad... besides doesn't your father also say I'm dangerous cause of my mother?"
"I guess so yeah..."
"Mom says to stay away from your side of the family, cause women there are only ever seen and not heard and he did bad stuff to my mom too. Maybe, you should start questioning him"
Hercules is just "don't you fucking try anything" and Meg is like "OK that's valid but after working with Hades I can tell you the kid is cool" and now Hades is trying to be the cool cousin
Aurora and Yuu should be like siblings change my mind.
Also rip Alice. "How are you the queens child??" "Idk bro I fell from the sky and she was like "oh cool" and now I'm royalty.

Ok, so you may or may not have inspired me with your Outsiders post to interrupt my usually sparse story post schedule and indulge in my own obsession with a certain musical. And as chaotic and random as it sounds, I promise it is good haha. But even if you disagree, please just let me vent and get all this out of my brain so that I can go back to writing the next part of TMM 😂
Alright, I've loved Starlight Express ever since I saw it when I was around... 7 or 8, maybe? It used to be my favourite show for years, and (fun fact) it was actually how I found out about fanfiction haha. I never wrote anything properly for the show, just like one or two pages in a random notebook when I was, idk 11 ? But it was around that time that TBM then came out, which I was obviously more drawn to writing-wise - I suppose because it gave me more freedom with stories and characters, since this show is just...you know...about trains lol.
And from the few times I've mentioned it before, I know it probably sounds insane, but if you just suspend your disbelief and accept it for what it is (a bunch of trains singing and falling in love), it is a lot of fun hahaha. I like to think of it like a mix between Cats and Cinderella, but the basic gist of the story, so you can have at least somewhat of an idea of what's going on lol, is that Control (a little kid - I don't think they have a name, they're literally just known as Control) sneaks out of bed one night to hold this big race between all his toy trains to find out who is the best - so the story essentially takes place within his imagination, as all the trains come to life to tell the story. It's like Cats in the regard that most of the first act is everyone kind of introducing themselves in turn. There's Greaseball, the champion diesel train, Rusty, the little steam engine who wants to race with the big trains, and Electra, the electric engine of the future - and a bunch of other trains and coaches, but I won't bore you with all that (just yet 😉). So, to cut a long story short, it's basically a big competition between those three main trains to see who's fastest, with Rusty being the obvious underdog, and hence the centre of the Cinderella story element.
The plot itself is nothing groundbreaking, and neither are the songs tbh, but it's just such a fun show that I can't help but love it anyway. I mean come on, the whole thing's done on roller skates - that's pretty damn cool! And although I've loved it for years, it had taken quite a backseat for a while, but the recent revival that has recently opened in London has really reignited my obsession with it all over again 😆 Because how do you make my favourite pairing in the whole show even more iconic? ...you turn them into lesbians 😎 Plus the costumes were all reimagined by Gabriella Slade, who did the costumes for Six, and they look SO cool!
Now, a big part of why I loved your Outsiders post so much was all the story ideas/similarities for characters you included, but I can't really do that here because (once again)... they're all trains, and none of them are really that deep or serious anyway. BUT, what I did think might be fun, would be going through who I think each of our characters would be good at playing if they were (for some bizarre reason) to ever put on the show - because I do have some strong opinions about that haha. And, as a little bonus, I have written some little random one-off story snippets that are Starlight Express adjacent that I'll throw in at the end lol - more as a reward for you wading through all my nonsense than anything tbh. But they were fun to write too haha.
So yeah, welcome to the insane workings of my brain - and pull up a chair; this could take a while 😅
Ok, I think the best place to start would be with going through the characters in the show and, like I said, matching them up with potential characters of ours I think would be good at playing them. I'll sort of elaborate on 'why' for each one too to help keep things entertaining from an outside perspective lol - and hopefully to help back up my arguments for each lmao. Because, let's face it, none of our characters have particularly...train-like characteristics. 😂
First up we've got Rusty, who's essentially the show's main character. Most of the conflict in the show centres around him; the 'better' trains all totally disregard him, a lot of the coaches tease him, and although he loves Pearl, she's more interested in the newer, more exciting trains than boring, quiet little Rusty. BUT, as with all Cinderella stories, he comes out on top in the end; he wins the race (I would say spoiler alert, but it's also like...duh 🙄😂) and gets his dream girl. He's a really likeable underdog character throughout the story though, and he does put up a good fight to come out victorious, which I appreciate - he doesn't just lay down and let everyone walk (well, roll 😉) all over him.
Now, who do I think would be good to play Rusty? Well, as I mention later on in the one-shots, and have potentially mentioned elsewhere too, I weirdly feel like Riven would really like the show. Maybe he has some childhood nostalgia linked to it like I do - maybe his dad took him to see it when he was younger since it involves skating? I don't know all the details, but something within me tells me Riven would like this show lmao. And so, in the spin-off scenario where our characters put on this show (which is the one I'll always lead with in these things), I think he'd want to take a leading role in the directing side of it - and probably spear-headed the campaign for putting it on in the first place tbh haha. BUT, I feel like a lot of people at Camp (because yes, I think they'd do this at Camp; I don't know when else they would all want to put on a show like this lmao) would think the whole thing was an insane idea, and wouldn't want anything to do with it (because it kind of is an insane idea). SO, I think that Riven would not only end up directing most of the show, I also think he'd have to step into Rusty's skates - which wouldn't be as daunting as he initially expected since he knows the show so well already. Plus, besides the backstory element, I just think he'd be a really cute Rusty; his auburn hair is perfect for it, he's a quietly determined guy, and he's an experienced skater, so he'd have no trouble taking on such a demanding role in terms of the skating.
So yeah, Riven would be my first pick. BUT, this new revival of the show that's being performed in London is playing Rusty and Pearl (his love interest, who we'll get to in a minute) in a much more innocent, shy way - and it's freaking adorable. And I think if we were leaning into more of that version of the show, Royce would make a brilliant Rusty if Vivien could be his Pearl. I don't know how likely he'd be to take on another leading role after being thrown into Hairspray like he was in your last Camp Wanamaker story, especially one that required him to be on roller skates the entire time, but I think he'd really nail it with that more innocent, down-trodden interpretation of the character.
But if everyone was willingly getting involved in the show, and they wanted to lean more into the old-school portrayal of Rusty and Pearl, that feels a little older, and more heavily romantically driven, then I feel like Miles and Carrie make SO much sense for those parts. The whole 'chasing after a girl you think is out of your league' thing has both Miles and Rusty written all over, and I think Miles would, again, play that fluctuating determination and defeat really well. Plus, I know this doesn't really mean anything, but his struggles for money do parallel Rusty being this rundown, tattered, but persistent little steam train pretty well... 😂
Ok, now we'll move onto Pearl. Pearl is the newest coach in the little kid's collection, and is therefore the most sought-after racing partner (since all the trains need to race with a coach - idk why, it's just part of the story I suppose lol). Sometimes she's a 'first class' coach, sometimes she's an 'observation car', it doesn't really matter - all that matters is that all the trains want to race with her, and although she has a soft spot for Rusty, who has loved her all along, she gets seduced by the flashiness of his competitors, and it takes her almost getting wrecked in the final race for her to see sense. She can be a little naive sometimes, or will sometimes just blatantly play the field (depending on how you play her), but her heart is always in the right place, which is what still makes her so likeable.
Again, for Pearl I've got multiple options for who could play her, but I'll start with Juliet. The new all-white version of Pearl's costume that they use in the current Bochum production just screams Juliet to me: that sleek sophistication and quiet confidence, but also a touch of flirty, girly charm is so her! And I think she'd make a great leading lady - which is why she's my pick for that spin-off scenario version of the show. Pearl has some great songs, which would be perfect for Juliet to show off more of her voice, with her wanting to be a singer eventually, and with you hinting at Riven and Juliet maybe having a little bit of a fling or something in your last STDP post, having them play the two leads here seems like a perfect fit for them! Rusty thinking Pearl's way out of his league, but Pearl falling for his kindness and good heart anyway - that just screams Riven and Juliet to me! Pearl also has a strong sisterhood-type friendship with the other coaches, which I think really works for Juliet too. And Pearl does try to stand up for what she thinks is right when the bigger trains start taking the competition a little too far - so I think Juliet could bring a great deal of her own strength to her portrayal of the character as well.
Now, my second choice for Pearl, links with the second choice for Rusty above, which is, obviously Vivien. I feel like the new London revival Pearl was MADE for Vivien to play; the whole space-y vibes of the show, the fact that they made her purple, and the fact that they made her this happy little ball of excitement, with a touch more innocence than previous Pearls - she's perfect for Vivien. And the awkwardly adorable, friends-to-lovers arc Rusty and Pearl have in this new revival was practically written for Royce and Vivien lmao - I just think they'd be able to play them brilliantly. And again, like with Juliet, I think Vivien's fiestiness would allow her to bring a lot of strength and determination to Pearl's character that isn't always there - she can sometimes be played quite airy and 'damsel-in-distress-like', but I think Vivien would really ground her.
And my last choice for the role is Carrie - she's not my favourite pick for the role, and I think she'd be better at other parts (as we'll see in a minute lol), but as I said earlier, if Miles is playing Rusty, I think Carrie would make an amazing Pearl opposite him. Their dynamic just fits them so well - Miles pining for her but not feeling like he's good enough, Carrie being blinded to her true feelings by other options (in this situation I feel like Eric would make a great Greaseball lol) but coming around in the end - it's just perfect! And, I truly believe that the song Pearl sings in the original London production, Only He, can only be bodied in the way it deserves to be bodied by my girl Carrie haha. I'm not a big fan of Next Time You Fall In Love, but I do quite like I Do (the replacement options for Only He), and I think Juliet and Vivien would do great renditions of them, but there's just something about the thought of Carrie singing that song that just makes so much sense. I've got an idea for her to sing it in a legitimate story too (that's how obsessed with that song I am lmao), probably linked to the heartache referenced in the little drabble I'll post below, but I feel like she needs to sing it for an actual audience too haha. It's just such a beautiful, powerful, swelling theatre ballad - she'd kill it!!
Alright, now we're getting to the good stuff. This is Greaseball: arguably the main antagonist of the show because, although most of the characters rag on Rusty, a lot of them do so to show their support for Greaseball. They're the reigning, undefeated champion when it comes to the races, so they have quite the ego on them. They're brash, and cocky, and a little brute-ish, but they're also incredibly competitive, which often gets in the way of their better judgement, resulting in a total disregard for everyone else (including their undeservingly loyal girl, Dinah). They're a total showboat and narcissist, but they do have a dopey, lovable side that Dinah helps to bring out towards the end of the show, which does help redeem them haha.
Now, there are two ways that Greaseball can be played: the traditional way, or the new way. For the traditional way (the sort of wannabe-Elvis, old school rockstar portrayal), Butchy feels like an obvious pick. And although I don't think he's anything like Greaseball's character, you know if he had to play him he'd take to the greaser caricature like a duck to water lmao. Plus, if Mick was playing Dinah (which, you'll see in a bit, I think works perfectly for her), they'd make an adorable duo in the show, and I think they'd have a lot of fun hamming up the roles to make them even more ridiculously cartoonish. And if Mick was his Dinah, I think Butchy would do the whole 'crawling back to her with his tail between his legs' schtick soooo well - he'd just melt into a puddle for her the second he apologised for being such a brute haha. The only thing that's holding me back with Butchy is that I don't know how good he'd be at being so mean to his friends - especially if someone like Miles or Royce was playing Rusty haha; he's just too nice! Plus, I don't know how well he could roller skate lmaoo.
OR, the other way Greaseball can be played is like how they've done it in the new London revival of the show: by making her into a fiesty little lesbian. And this is the role I feel like Carrie could really excel at. I just think she'd have sooo much fun with all the showboating and playing up the bravado. It's so different to anything else she's played before that I think she'd have a great time getting to try it out too - and I think she'd really enjoy getting to lean into playing a villain as well. I'm just obsessed with everything about the London revival Greaseball - her costume is so cool, her attitude is so iconic, the way she's adapted the character I just, uh- it's brilliant! And as cool as it could be to try out a male Dinah by getting Miles into some frilly gingham (lol), I think having either Juliet or Mick be her Dinah would work really well. I'll get into why I think Juliet would be a perfect Dinah later, but her dynamic with Carrie if they were to take on these roles would just be perfect; Juliet's mild scolding of Carrie's bruteish behaviour, but her unwavering loyalty regardless, Carrie's brushing off of her affection for the sake of winning, but then realising she didn't know how good she had it with Juliet by the end - aaaah, I love them. But for the spin-off scenario, where Juliet would be playing Pearl, my pick for Dinah would have been Mick - again, I'll elaborate more on why that works so well for her in a bit, but there's something about Mick and Carrie being paired up romantically like this that just entertains me so much, and low-key kind of intrigues me too haha. In my head, the way it would have played out was that they'd approached Butchy with the offer for the role first, hoping that if they also offered Mick to be his love interest, he'd be more likely to accept it. But after he dismissed it so blatantly, and they couldn't get anyone else to convincingly fit the role, Carrie was called upon to take his place - and to get back at Butchy for not even considering the part, Mick decides to take the Dinah role anyway, but doesn't tell him. Because imagine his face when he realises that this role they'd said couldn't be played by anyone but him was not only being played by Carrie, of all people, but that his wife was playing her love interest (and was practically throwing herself at Carrie the whole show)! They'd have so much fun torturing him with it, I just know it haha. And omg Carrie would have a whale of a time with Pumping Iron lmao. Plus, her skating skills can finally come in handy for something lol; she'd be throwing in all the tricks.
Alright, so here's where I started grouping people together because I realised I was rambling far too much about the rest lol. As cool of a character as Electra is concept-wise, I don't think I can talk about them in that much depth haha - they're just not one of my favourites! I don't feel like they have that big of an impact on the story tbh; it feels mostly Rusty/Greaseball centred to me, but it's nice to give Greaseball a bit of real competition in the races I guess haha. Their futuristic, diva-ish vibe is really interesting though, and the fact they have their own entourage is pretty iconic too. But with that all being said, I just don't think there's any of our characters that really fit their archetype, even just in terms of who'd be best at playing them - especially males, since that's what Electra has typically been played as (even though they're nonbinary in the new London revival). I thought it might have been fun to get Donny to play them in the spin-off scenario, because I like to think he's a good enough actor to pull off any role haha - and like with Carrie and Greaseball, I think he'd have a lot of fun with doing something totally different to any of his other roles. I don't quite know how it would come about that he'd ever get involved in an amateur production like this, but in my head I thought it would be cute if, besides Carrie's constant begging and pestering about how they don't have enough people to fill out the cast, he's swayed by the fact that his son's in his 'train' phase at the moment - and so he agrees purely for shits and giggles and getting to make his son excited hahaha. Plus, I think he and Carrie would have a lot of fun getting to play rivals for once instead of lovers lol. And I just know they'd really lean into the comedic side of One Rock 'N' Roll Too Many. But besides Donny, I really have no other good picks. I thought if it was maybe the situation where Butchy was playing Greaseball they could do a female Electra and cast Carrie - because she'd do a fabulous job at selling the glitzy, diva vibes and overall over-the-top dramaticness of the character, and a female Electra would be incredible - but like with Pearl, it's just not my favourite pick for her. More out of necessity than anything haha - although it would be perfect to have Butchy and Carrie playing enemies like that lol.
And then the second one on this list is Poppa/Momma McCoy, who's an old steam engine that takes part in one of the races to help encourage Rusty and prove that steam trains aren't outdated after all. The role has been played by both male and female actors, but it tends to lean more female lately. And whilst I'm sure Grandpa George would happily help the kids out with their show, I have much stronger feelings on different female characters taking on the role.
Firstly, how iconic could it be if Nonna Dawn surprised everyone who wasn't helping out with the show by rolling out to sing Momma's (Poppa's) Blues?? Because that's my main pick for the spin-off scenario and I feel like Viv's face would just be a picture lmaoo. She helped out quite a bit with the stuff in the playhouse in Camp Wanamaker too, so she obviously likes theatre, and she just has that kind of fun, mischievous charm about her, so I feel like when Riven and Carrie would approach her with the idea, she'd love it - especially with that added element of surprise for the audience. And the whole mentor/advice-giver role Momma takes on in the show would work perfectly for Dawn; she's like the embodiment of the voice of reason haha.
My second pick, if you wanted to play Momma a little younger, like the London revival has done (with her playing both Control's mum, and Momma), would be Charlie, because she took a big role in helping out at the playhouse in Camp Wanamaker, and obviously cares a lot about theatre. And she has a really close relationship to Carrie and Riven, so I feel like they'd be able to talk her around to taking part eventually. My only thing holding me back is that part of my feels as though she'd want nothing to do with the production because she'd be too scared someone was gonna get hurt since the whole thing's done on rollerskates - her pseudo-motherly instincts couldn't cope with the stress lmaooo. And if it's in the spin-off scenario, where in my head Vivien's organising a rival production (probably of The Outsiders since you're enjoying it so much atm haha), I feel like Vivien would have already snagged her to help with directing on her project.
And my last potential pick for Momma, in an AU version, and one where Royce or Miles was Rusty, would, of course, be Mrs Murphy. I don't know how she would have done with performing, but Momma obviously takes on a motherly role to Rusty, and the freight/fuel trucks too - so Mrs Murphy taking on that role opposite one of her actual sons, and helping to give them the confidence they need to succeed, just makes so much sense to me! Pretty unlikely scenario, but a fun one to consider nonetheless haha.
Ooh ok, more of my faves again haha. Dinah used to be my all-time favourite growing up, so I have lots of opinions about her. But basically, she's another of the 4 coaches (along with Pearl), and her main role in the show is that she's Greaseball's racing partner (and therefore, essentially also their romantic partner). They have a kind of strained relationship most of the show, because Dinah's totally head-over-wheels (😉) for Greaseball, but Greaseball's also being fawned over by pretty much every other coach, and is reluctant to give in to Dinah's affection for fear of showing any weakness to their opponents - so they can be pretty mean sometimes. BUT, they do have a really cute moment when Greaseball loses in the end and goes back to Dinah to apologise, realising that they still love each other without all the glory of being champions.
She's a pretty confident character though, and is good at standing up for herself when she doesn't think something's right - but she's still able to show her softer, more vulnerable side, which makes her a really well-rounded character imo. There are a few good options for who I'd want to play her though, and although I mention later that Carrie would be a good Dinah, I only think she'd really get cast in the role if she it was an externally produced show, since she only ever lands secondary parts haha. I think she'd be a great Dinah, don't get me wrong, but I just think that if all our characters were in the show, there are better choices for her.
My first one, as mentioned earlier, would be Mick. The brunette hairstyle she's been given lately, as opposed to the blonde, works for Mick so well, and with red being her favourite colour, taking the red from the new London costume but applying it to the more traditional gingham style - aaaah, she'd look adorable. Plus, like I said above, having her play this role opposite Butchy just makes so much sense - but, having her play it opposite Carrie (like she would in my spin-off scenario) would be brilliant. I just think they'd have so much fun with it, especially knowing how weird it would make Butchy feel watching them together, and oddly, I feel like it would help their friendship grow even stronger😂 It's just such an iconic pairing, and I really think they'd do it justice. I think she'd make a really strong-willed Dinah, and as unsteady as I think she'd be on roller skates at first, I think that'd make everyone all the more impressed when they saw her racing and dancing around with everyone else haha - Riven and Carrie would work their magic with teaching her.
And with Dinah being typically played as a sort of 'Southern Belle' type, the obvious pick for Dinah, and one that also makes a ton of sense to me, would, of course, be Juliet. And if she wasn't playing Pearl, this is definitely who I'd have her play. I think she'd be able to lean into the more sensitive, emotional side of Dinah, whilst also keeping a bit of the strength that Mick would bring to her - and you just know that if Carrie was her Greaseball they'd be in their element playing lesbain lovers 👀😂 They'd peak here, I feel. This and Maureen and Joanne in Rent - they'd be untouchable.
I didn't even know whether to include CB in this or not since he's been taken out and put back into the show so many times, but I reference him in one of the one-shots so I thought it was best to. Basically, he's a caboose coach that, in the second act, reveals that he's got a little evil streak behind his oh-so innocent appearance, and that he's actually notorious for wrecking the trains he races behind. So, (although I don't think it's ever actually explained why lol) he teams up with Greaseball and Electra to trick Rusty into racing with him, only to try wrecking him in the big final race. Naturally, it doesn't work, but hey, he acts as a zany little extra antagonist, which I'm never going to complain about haha.
Like I mention later on, I think Riven would feel kind of drawn to this role - especially because of the softer side we see with him when he comforts Dinah after Greaseball ditches her (for being too moral for their dirty racing tactics lol). Plus, there's that 'red' motif again that would work with his auburn hair - and I think he'd be able to play that coolly sly, kind of crazily sadistic twist well because of how chill he is normally. That switch would be so jarring! But, perhaps an even more jarring option, I think Bentley could also do this part really well. He'd be the perfect, innocent mask to begin with because he's so little and smiley - but then I think he'd have a lot of fun getting to flip that on its head and be the complete antithesis of his usual ball of sunshine personality to be a little crazy criminal instead. Obviously he's nothing like that normally, but acting-wise, if he felt confident enough with it, I think he could really do it justice! And it'd make an even cooler contrast if one of his brothers was playing Rusty; that betrayal would be even harsher!
Alright, now onto the coaches. Let's try to speed through these because I already know I've wasted far too much of your time lmao. If you're still reading at this point, I'm actually pretty impressed 😂 The coaches have changed a bunch over the years, mostly for things going out of fashion (*cough cough* Ashley the smoking car lol) - but the current ones in the London revival are Belle the sleeping car and Tassita the quiet coach. Since these are smaller, more generic parts, I don't really have as much to say about them. But, for Belle I thought that Jade might be a good pick, because I know she can sing since she's in Riven's band, and idk, maybe she naps a lot? 😂 Either way, even though she's said before that she can't act to save her life, I don't think she'd have to act a great deal in this role - but she can sing and skate, and that's enough to give her the confidence to agree to help out in my book haha. And for Tassita, who's the first coach to ever be played by a male performer, which is pretty cool, I thought August might be a fun pick - you know, because he's such a quiet guy himself lol. Besides that though, I've always thought he'd be a good performer (he was originally going to have a part on Find Your Voice after all), and although, like Jade, I don't think he'd have a great deal of confidence at first - especially in a role that still appears quite feminine when he's not totally secure about his sexuality - but I think they'd be able to tweak both the part and the costume until it was something he'd feel comfortable doing. And once he started working on it, I think it'd be really good at bringing him out of his shell! Plus, I like to think he's got a really good voice hidden behind all that shyness - so this is an excuse to finally bring it out into the open hehe.
Other coaches that could be worked in from other productions are Buffy the buffet car, Duvet the sleeper car (an alternate to Belle), Carrie the luggage car (what a coincidence lol), or, the original Belle the sleeping car, from the original London production way back in the 80s. Belle didn't really do a great deal plot-wise besides help motivate Rusty, and Dinah and the rest of the coaches in the second act when they're ditched by the trains they race with (please, Starlight Express producers, bring back the Rolling Stock reprise; it's iconic lmao) - but if for some reason they wanted to use her in the show, I think Charlie would be a great pick for her. She'd give her all the old-school glamour and girl-power she deserves haha. And I think she'd look iconic in that red costume.
Finally, my last category: the freight/fuel trucks. Well, actually just the fuel trucks. I thought about including the freight trucks too, but tbh, I don't really have any strong opinions on any of them, and this post is already far too long, so I just left them out lol. But, like the coaches, the fuel trucks are just more racing partner options for the trains. Some have bigger parts than others, but their main purpose is providing fuel (shocking, I know ha). They're new to the London revival though, and tbh I like them more than the freight trucks; they feel more central to the plot - even if it did make the song Freight significantly worse lmao.
And speaking of central to the plot, Hydra, the hydrogen fuel truck is the new reason why Rusty wins the final race (because before it didn't really make that much sense tbh lmao); he's now powered by hydrogen steam, which gives him the advantage over his opponents. And throughout the show, despite the other fuel trucks ragging on Hydra for being too new and dangerous in comparison to their more reliable fuel sources, he ignores them and stands by his belief in his fuel. The only pick in my mind for Hydra because of this though is Ethan - and although I have no idea if he'd ever have any remote interest in acting, especially in a musical theatre production, you know he's so loyal to his friends he'd do anything to help them out if they asked. And, I think he'd just think the idea was so weird he'd be down to participate just for the hell of it lol. But Hydra's way of not caring what anyone else thinks of him, and sticking to his own beliefs, is so Ethan to me - plus, they just have that same, chilled, laid back vibe. And, naturally, they both have that kind of green motif 😉🍃 So yeah, for me, Ethan has to be Hydra - and no matter who's playing Rusty, I feel like he'd vibe enough with all of them for him to jump at the chance to help them out like Hydra helps Rusty in the show. And it'd finally give him an excuse to use those roller skating skills I know he's hiding somewhere despite his usually terrible clumsiness ha.
For Porter (the red coal truck) I think Zack could maybe play him? Not completely sold on that idea because I don't think he'd really vibe with musicals, but if August roped him into helping out I think he'd begrudgingly agree - and Porter basically does nothing anyway, so he couldn't really complain lol. And for Lumber (the blue timber truck) I picked Erica - not only because her blue hair would look sick with an all-blue costume like that, but also because the thought of Jade and Erica flirting as their characters during the little bickering section between the coaches and the fuel trucks in the song Freight had me weak at the knees. So if they were both in it, their characters would 100% be in love, no questions asked - I need flirty trucks and coaches hahaha.
So then the final role I'm passionate about is Slick, the oil truck, which is the new London revival's answer to CB, since she not only takes on his main song, but also the whole concept of wanting to race with Rusty to wreck him and help out the competition. This revival also gives her a monetary aim though, which is good for giving her more of a motive, I suppose. I don't really know how trains are supposed to use money, but it's at least a reason, which is more than we had before lmao. I think Abby would be such a good pick for Slick though - I'd want to make her a little more girly, giving her some different hair (like my little reference picture, or maybe something like some fun bubble braids or something - like oil bubbles 👀) and a more feminine costume - but I think having a pretty important role like that would help bring out her confidence with performing a lot, without totally throwing her out of her comfort one with a big main role. I think she'd like the added challenge and fun that the villainous twist Slick has would bring though; it'd give her something a bit different to play with. And with Slick's colour palette mirroring Greaseball's, and her being an oil truck, makes me thing that Abby would really want to lean into making Slick a little Greaseball fangirl, who is constantly looking up to her and wanting to impress her (and hence giving her even more motivation to wreck Rusty and help Greaseball win the race) - which I think would also nicely mirror how much Abby would look up to Carrie (an established actress already) if they were to ever meet. I just think it works really well for her, and I love how the show's leaning more into mixing the genders of the coaches and the freight trucks - even if the costumes are still leaning more feminine and masculine respectively, I think our characters would have more fun tailoring them to each performer's preferences. Because come on, Abby being a pretty girly, but still menacing, little secondary villain would be so cool - she needs to let her rebellious side shine!
Excuse the TMM spacer lol, I'm too lazy to go make a new one lmao. Anyway, if you made it through all that, you really are a true friend haha - because that was soooo much insane rambling. But, I do feel better for dumping it out of my mind and onto a page. Maybe now I can finally stop obsessing over it and get back to writing the stories I should be working on. But hopefully this was a little fun post to switch things up a bit! And hopefully you at least liked it half as much as I enjoyed your Outsiders post haha. If, for some bizarre reason, you actually are interested in the show, then just let me know because I have a slime tutorial (*wink wink*) of the new revival I'd happily send you the link to, because I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. But even if not, like I said, this was just a bit of silly fun to give all these ideas a home. It's not a complex show, and it doesn't have particularly elevated songs or characters, but the orchestrations are clever, the costumes and theatrics are amazing, and it's all done on roller skates - so it'll always have a special, fun spot in my heart hehe. I've linked a video of the megamix at the end of the new London revival for you to get a bit of a vibe of what the show's like without having to watch the whole thing too if you want hehe - at least this way you can see some of the skating and costumes in action! And, as promised, as a reward for sitting through the insanity of this post, here are two little drabbles with our characters as a reward.
The first centres around the song There's Me, and a pairing I think works particularly well for it, that I'm dying to see/write more of - it's also plucked out of that Camp Wanamaker spin-off I wanted to do that I'm not sure will ever materialise. But consider this a sneak peek into what would have gone down lol. And the second is a litle bit of what the chaos the concept of Riven and Vivien putting on rivalling productions would have brought about haha. For context, I think although Riven would have bagged Carrie for his show straight away, Vivien would have furiously retaliated by claiming everyone else in their cabin for hers - hence the competitiveness that ensues. Enjoy! Hopefully they're not too weird to not still be enjoyable anyway 😅😂
The dusty deck creaked as a scuffed, black Converse nudged into her periphery. But her eyes never left the lake - as grey as the thick blanket of clouds overhead, and as bleak as her outlook.
"The laundry house, really?" the voice demanded, pausing to give the girl a chance to explain herself.
She did not.
Sighing, the guest realised this was going to be harder than he expected. After all, he wasn't used to her being this…subdued. "You know, I just think it's a testament to our friendship that I was the only one who knew to look for you here," he offered with a playful smile…that went completely unnoticed. Frowning as the girl continued to ignore his very existence, he let out another sigh, this one as he lowered himself down and took up the space beside her, nudging the sole of her now off-white sneaker with his knee to draw her out of her thoughts. "Come on, Carrie. I'm trying here," he said. But when he leant forwards to try to get a clearer look at her face, and found her cheeks marred with glistening tracks in her foundation, and her puffy eyes speckled with remnants of her mascara, his frustration waned. "You can't hide from them forever," he gently added.
"I want to," Carrie murmured.
"You don't mean that," he tried.
"I do; at least that way I wouldn't be able to fuck things up any more than I already have," she limply insisted.
"You didn't-"
"Don't give me that, Riven; I know I did," Carrie said, cutting him off with an exasperated huff. "I shouldn't have done it, I shouldn't have yelled at them like that. But I was just in such a bad mood after that class, and I was so fed up with everything, so then to come back to all that I just…"
"...Let all those years of bottled up frustration out?" Riven offered.
"Something like that," Carrie mumbled, dropping her gaze to her lap, knowing that if she actually made eye contact with the boy her resolve would start to crumble in an instant.
"Hmm," he began, murmuring his understanding as he took his turn to look out across the lake. "I heard it wasn't pretty."
Although Riven was no longer looking at her, he saw her dark blonde curls trembling out of the corner of his eye as she shook her head.
"I'm so embarrassed," she admitted, voice barely above a whisper. A fresh tear plopped onto her thigh as she kept her watery gaze steady, praying she'd be able to get a handle on her waterworks for once. "They hate me for sure now."
"They never hated you, Carrie," Riven promised, turning back to her again as though it would persuade her to believe him.
But Carrie proved to be as stubborn as ever, completely bypassing the comment with a mournful smile she still couldn't bring herself to lift from the floor. "All that time I spent trying to win them over…down the drain, all because I had a shit day and lost my cool."
"I don't know, I'd still say you're pretty cool," Riven tried with a playful lopsided grin, bumping her shoulder until she turned to see it for herself.
When she did finally turn to face him though, it was with that flat, annoyed frown that always just egged him on more. "This isn't a joke," she grumbled, but Riven's little chuckle said otherwise.
"I'm not saying it is," he countered. "I'm just letting you know it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than one dumb argument for me to stop thinking you're cool. Come on, you're Caroline Cole: entertainer extraordinaire-"
"Why are you doing this?" Carrie stopped his playful bolstering in its tracks with a weary sigh.
"Because I want to," Riven said, standing firm in his optimism. "Come on, I hate seeing you like this," he pressed on fitfully, uneasy with her uncharacteristic despondency. She was usually the life and soul of the party in that playhouse, now she had all the energy of a wet paper towel. Hoping to distract her with a little healthy competition, he added, "We should be out there crushing Erica's cabin at volleyball right now."
"Well forgive me, but I'm not really in the mood," Carrie flatly retorted.
"What are you in the mood for?" he challenged, with a primarily jovial tone, but a hint of creeping frustration. "Moping about like a kicked puppy?"
"Yes, actually," she snipped. "Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I can't be the 'smiling showgirl' 24/7…" Her frown twitched into the faintest of wistful smiles as her voice trailed off, carrying her focus back into the turmoil unfolding within her own head. "I'm allowed to have emotions, I'm just not allowed to show them," she went on to explain with a quiet, self-loathing huff. "'Cause that's when things always turn to shit."
All Riven's teasing intent slipped away, seeping into the damp wood beneath them, as it began to dawn on him that there may have been more to her dramatic disappearance than what he'd initially thought. "...This is about more than just you yelling at the boys, isn't it?" he slowly asked, treading carefully, as though to not set off a bomb.
And yet, Carrie dropped one on him anyway.
"I think Miles and I are gonna break up, Riv."
The words hung in the muggy air between them, not daring to be believed.
Stunned, hazel eyes settled on Carrie's profile, unable to tear themselves away until she explained herself. So, she began to talk. Slowly but surely, she unravelled the tangle of thoughts in her head, laying them out before her friend, praying that his sensible, perceptive mind could help her make sense of them. "It's just…not felt right this summer. It's like he's…pulling away, or something," she started, still avoiding eye contact at all costs. At least that way she could keep a handle on her tears, even if her mouth did start to run away from her instead. "And the arguing with Royce never helps, but it's just been getting worse instead of better and I can tell he's getting frustrated with it, but I'm trying and nothing's working and I don't understand why and that's making me frustrated, which makes the bickering worse, I just-" She stopped to snatch a breath, only to blow out all her remaining self-confidence with it. "I feel like I've got no fight left anymore. I can't see it getting better. And when I know Miles would always side with his brothers, and everyone else would side with him if things went south… I don't know, it just kind of stings, I guess; one wrong move and I lose them all. No matter what I do, I'd still be left out on my own."
"Don't lump me in with that."
Startled, Carrie lost her focus and turned to the boy; she'd been so lost in her own thoughts she'd forgotten she wasn't alone anymore. But even when she searched his expression, his comment still made no sense. "What do you mean?"
"Well don't say I'd never speak to you again if things with you and Miles didn't work out," he explained as though it was the simplest thing in the world. "Which they totally will by the way, but that's beside the point," he tacked on as that playful chuckle of his started creeping back into his voice. "Of course I'd still speak to you; you can't get rid of me that easily."
"Really?" Carrie asked, wary despite the hopeful glint in her ocean eyes.
"Yes, really, idiot," he snorted. "I'm not just friends with you 'cause you're dating Miles, you're my drama buddy," he went on to explain with a grin holding nothing but fond sincerity. "You're the only one that keeps me sane in that playhouse, and even then you're so ridiculous I can only take you seriously like 60% of the time. Plus, I did see you naked that one time-"
"I was not- it was just my top."
The frustrated tone shining through in the way she had cut him off, and the way she had hurriedly returned to avoiding his gaze, struck Riven down. "Oh my god, you didn't even laugh at the bikini story. This really is bad," he said - again, half-joking, half-genuinely-concerned. Reaching behind him, his fingers closed around glossy wood as a teasing smile started to tug at his lips. "I didn't want it to have to come to this…"
Hearing fingers start plucking at guitar strings, Carrie's bewildered frown deepened as she turned back to him. "What are you doing?"
"I can't help it, you've left me no choice," he chuckled, cheesily grinning back at her and continuing to lazily pluck out a melody. "I'm not leaving until I've cheered you up - even if that means resorting to music."
"Come on, Riv," Carrie wearily groaned, not nearly as amused by the offer as he'd hoped she would be. "Stop, I'm not in the mood. Can't you just leave me alone?"
The plucking stopped and Riven sat the guitar fully back in his lap, his own brows now starting to furrow. "They really got you this time, huh?"
Carrie sighed as she dropped her gaze to her lap again. "I don't like to show it normally 'cause I know they don't always mean it, they just want to get a rise out of me," she slowly confessed. "But it was…different last night. It's felt different since we arrived."
"I really thought you guys were getting somewhere," Riven softly mused, just as perplexed by the sudden nosedive in amiability as the others in the cabin.
"So did I," Carrie agreed, smiling painfully down at a knot in the wood. A million things she wanted to say swirled in her head, but none of her thoughts were quite able to be fit into words - nothing that could make a coherent sentence anyway. She didn't know whether to get mad, and let the rest of her pent up anger spill across the deck until she'd rid herself of it completely. She didn't know whether to just push it to the back of her mind again, put on a brave face and swan back into camp as though nothing was wrong at all. She didn't know whether to stay hidden, avoiding everyone at the cabin and all her problems at the same time. At least that way she wouldn't have to face them again, or have to try to explain herself and her inexcusable temperament to Miles. God, he was probably so mad at her right now.
More and more thoughts flew through her mind, hitting the walls of her skull like rabid animals until her head pounded and her resolve broke down. Helpless tears started to slip from her eyes as the hopelessness of her position washed over her all over again. She felt a hand on her back that brought her back to her senses in an instant though - having forgotten, yet again, that she wasn't alone out here. She sniffed and hurriedly patted away the tears, trying to salvage what little of her makeup still remained. "Guess I'm not such a heartless bitch after all," she offered, managing a melancholy chuckle at her predicament that, although was an improvement, still did nothing to show Riven that she was feeling more like her usual self.
In fact, he just felt more concerned than ever. Carrie was strong-willed and stubborn, bold and exuberant - not the shying, insecure, tearful shell of a girl before him. He'd already suspected that her confidence had been knocked this summer thanks to the rather personal disruption at the playhouse, but this was worse than he thought. And he couldn't stand by in good conscience and watch her fire be extinguished.
Setting his guitar back into position, he began plucking at the strings again. Carrie shot him another questioning look, with a slightly annoyed huff, but he stuck to his guns and kept playing, offering her nothing but a cheesy, comforting grin in response. "Complain all you want," he chuckled. "But I'm not gonna stop playing."
Although Carrie just rolled her eyes, she did manage a small, resigned laugh as she gave up on the pushback. And soon, to her surprise, lyrics began to accompany his playing - as gentle and reassuring as his own intent.
All alone, you think you're on your own You think there's no one in the world who cares for you That isn't true, there's me May not be, the one you want to see But if you need someone who's kind then look behind And then you'll find, there's me
I'll be near, standing by Never fear, you can cry But in a while, you will smile And I'll be there to see
By yourself you have to cry yourself Nobody else can cry the tears you have to cry But I will try, there's me Until then, when you're okay again You'll look around, find I'm no longer there I'll still be near somewhere You're not alone, there's me There's always me
I'll still be near somewhere You're not alone; there's me There's always me...
The soft, yet cheeky smiles Riven kept shooting the girl as he sang, paired with the meaning behind the words, and the added special meaning to them both, meant that by the time his strumming faded to silence, Carrie was finally grinning back at him.
"You really came all the way out here to serenade me with a musical theatre song from the 80s?" she asked with a teasing chuckle, wiping away the last traces of any tears with the heel of her hand.
"It worked, didn't it?" he teasingly fired back with a satisfied smirk.
"Touché," she giggled, before hitting with a further pointed eyebrow raise. "But Starlight? Really?"
"Again: it worked, didn't it?" he retorted with a snort of laughter she was all too happy to reciprocate.
"You are way too attached to that show," she chuckled, teasingly bumping his arm.
"It's about roller skating trains - how can I not be attached to it?"
"I don't know, ask literally anyone else at camp," Carrie snorted back, referring to the many attempts the pair had made to try to get even just one of their friends to give the show a chance.
Knowing exactly what the blonde was talking about, Riven just shot her a grin. "They'll come around eventually, trust me."
Giving an equally confident, yet slightly more playful grin back, Carrie conceded with another giggle before continuing. "And when they do, I think you've proven you'd make an excellent CB."
Riven pressed a hand to his chest. "I think that might be the nicest thing you've ever said to me," he said with a comically dramatic earnestness that just had Carrie rolling her eyes again.
"Shut up, I compliment you all the time," she retorted, and her smile only broadened when Riven showed no signs of pushing back. "I'm serious though; if you ever manage to convince Nonna you don't need to be sectioned for suggesting we stage the show, I think you'd be great."
Biting back a laugh, Riven instead decided to lead with sincerity. "Only if you'd be my Dinah," he bargained with a fond, yet knowing grin she, again, gladly shared. But it wasn't long before he started rambling again. "But I'd sacrifice that if it meant you could be Pearl…"
With an affectionate shake of her head, Carrie playfully sighed, "I never play the lead - I can't break my streak now, you know that."
Taking his turn to roll his eyes, he retorted with. "Pearl is not the lead; the whole show's about Rusty."
"Ok well maybe you can play Rusty then, Mr Know-It-All," Carrie teasingly fired back as the pair fell back into their typical, theatre-based ramblings - idly chattering away without a care in the world as the wind pulled the clouds across the sky.
It wasn't until Carrie saw the sunlight skittering across the lake, and heard the distant chatter of counsellors start up again, that she realised her head had finally stopped pounding, and her chest no longer felt as though someone had carved a giant hole into it. Astonished, but grateful nonetheless, Carrie turned back to Riven with a smile. "Thanks for coming to find me, Riv."
Grinning contentedly back, he replied, "Well, I don't like thinking of you being sad. You're like my fun, crazy, big sister - I can't have you moping around like a sadsack."
"You really think of me like a sister?"
"Of course. We don't always understand each other, and I tease the shit out of you at every opportunity I get, but that doesn't mean I don't care about you. You always make me laugh, you're insanely talented, you give the best advice, but you're honest when you need to be - you're everything I'd want in a big sister. Plus, like I said, you're my drama buddy. The shit we put up with from those campers has bonded us for life, whether you like it or not."
Unable to hold back her laughter any longer, it spilled out from her grateful smile as she reached out and wrapped him in a big hug, nestling her face into the well-worn cotton of his hoodie.
"And you give great hugs," he playfully added, mumbling through her mane of frizzy, golden curls.
"Thanks, Riv," she murmured between giggles, letting herself melt into the comforting reassurance of his embrace.
"Any time, Care Bear."
Sitting back, scouring his half-finished painting with an acutely analytical gaze, Bentley didn't even hear the door to the art barn open, let alone the footsteps that followed. He squinted his eyes, tilted his head from side to side, screwed up his mouth in concentration… And then his vision went dark.
Blinking, eyelashes brushed against an old t-shirt masquerading as a blindfold. But before he could try to question the ambush, a quiet voice broke through his haze of confusion.
"Alright, listen to what I say, or this is not gonna be pretty."
A chuckle couldn't help but slip from Bentley's lips, immediately relaxing as he recognised the voice. "Is that your attempt at sounding threatening?"
"I was actually trying to be reassuring," August countered with a bashful chuckle of his own.
"Oh, well then consider me reassured," Bentley laughed, still idly toying with his paintbrush. "As reassured as anyone can be when they're randomly blindfolded on a Wednesday afternoon. What are you doing anyway?"
"I need to take you somewhere, so put the brush down and get up - but don't go too fast; I've gotta make sure you don't bump into anything," August ordered, tying the old t-shirt in place before clumsily helping the blonde stand, taking him by the shoulders and leading him towards the door.
"Where the hell are we going?" Bentley asked, after they had navigated the stairs in a (somewhat) successful manner - consisting of only one giggling fit, and one almost-total-collapse - as he felt them move from the wooden deck to the uneven grass.
"I'm not allowed to tell you, but it's nothing bad, trust me."
"Who's forcing you to kidnap me and parade me across camp like a prisoner?"
"You'll find out in a minute," August chuckled, steering him around a tree stump. "But just know that it's nothing bad."
"Well I'd hope not - I'd hate to think you'd willingly be involved in leading me to my demise," Bentley snorted, before continuing with his idle rambling. "Who's roped you into taking me captive anyway?"
"I don't know if I can say; they didn't give me much briefing, and I don't think they expected you to be this…chatty."
Bentley laughed. "Well then they should have sent a more intimidating kidnapper."
"They didn't want to scare you, they just needed you away from Vivien," August admitted, immediately falling silent for a few steps. "...I don't know if I was supposed to say that."
"Ohhh, ok then, so I'm being taken hostage by the competition?" Bentley chuckled through a smirk as he began to piece the puzzle together.
"...Maybe," August confirmed as he rounded the blonde and started to lead him up a new set of steps from the front to make sure he didn't lose his footing. "But if they ask then you figured it out on your own - you didn't hear it from me."
"Well it's not like I had many options; it was either that or some weird camp event I didn't pay attention to the announcement for," Bentley laughed to himself as he blindly stuck his foot out, almost completely missing the step until August repositioned him. "What do they need me for? Information about how our rehearsals are going? And how are you in cahoots with them anyway? Are you abandoning our show for theirs?"
"What? No, just… Hang on, gimme a second," August fumbled through his excuses, fighting to nudge the door open with his foot before carefully pulling his friend inside. "Alright, we're here. Just sit down and listen to what they've got to say, they'll explain everything," he continued, keeping his voice down as he offered the boy further reassurances he was sure he wasn't supposed to.
Once Bentley was situated on what felt like a metal fold-out chair, August gave his shoulder one last reassuring squeeze before untying the old t-shirt and lifting it away from his eyes. Oddly though, even with the blindfold removed, Bentley could hardly see a thing; whatever cabin they were in had black-out cloths draped across the windows, leaving the room in complete darkness. Well, at least that explained why it had taken August so long to navigate him across the room.
"Uhh… Hello?" Bentley tried, calling out into what felt like a completely empty room if the thick silence he was met with was anything to go by.
But before he could question his situation any further, a light sprang to life beside him, so bright he had to jerk his head back to save himself from temporary blindness.
Wincing, he tried to take in his now significantly more illuminated surroundings, only to find that he was sitting at a scuffed, fold-out table, occupying the very lamp that seemed to give off more light than the sun itself. Other than that, the rest of the room was swimming in darkness, creating a rather effective interrogation set-up, which he suspected the masterminds behind his kidnapping had hoped for.
And speaking of these masterminds, just as the afterimages were finally starting to fade from his vision, a figure rolled out of the darkness and up to the table. Yes, quite literally rolled.
They set their hands on the tabletop in front of him and presented the boy with a smug smile. "Hello, Bentley."
"What are you doing?" Bentley asked, snorting out a laugh at the surreal nature of the entire situation.
"We have a…preposition for you," Riven slowly explained, his smug smile only broadening.
"We?" Bentley questioned. "There are more weirdos than you tied up in this thing?"
Suddenly the lamp head was wrenched back, sending the beam of light directly at his face, once again making him jerk his head back. "And just who do you think you're calling a weirdo?"
Eyes watering from the visual assault, Bentley squinted through the brightness until he found a tanned hand clamped around the lamphead. Following it up, he found an all-too-familiar, shadowed face, framed by a mane of unruly golden curls. "Not you?" Bentley offered with a lopsided smile.
Thankfully, the gesture was enough to appease Carrie, who tilted the lamphead back into position - but not before she shot the boy a satisfied smirk in response.
"You got any other questions? Or can we get down to business?" Riven asked.
"Uh, yeah: what's with the kidnapping?" Bentley fired back, sporting an amused smirk of his own. "You so worried you'll lose the bet you're turning to torturing the competition?"
"What? No! We just needed you away from the boss," Riven laughed, his comically threatening act disappearing in seconds as he referenced his pint-sized figure skating partner. "Like I said, we've got a preposition for you."
"Couldn't you have just asked me in the dining hall? Or in my room or something?" Bentley went on to ask, still having to squint from the light.
"Well yeah, but where's the fun in that?" came Riven's snorted reply, to which Carrie just grinned and nodded in agreement.
Bentley shook his head at the pair, evidently equally matched in their passion for dramatising the most menial things. "This is so dumb," he breathed, fighting back a smile at the ridiculousness of their whole set-up. "What do you want then? What's this preposition thing?"
Carrie and Riven exchanged a glance, giving each other a confirmatory nod before turning back to the blonde. "…We need your help."
"With what?"
"With the show," Riven clarified.
"The show? Your show?" Bentley spluttered, eyes darting between the pair, looking for any evidence of jesting, yet finding nothing. "I don't understand," he slowly continued. "Why do you want my help? I've got no idea what I'm doing with all this theatre stuff. I'm out of my depth with Viv's show as it is. Plus, I already agreed to be in her's - I can't help out the competition."
"Why not? I am."
Bentley's ears pricked up as a new voice entered the conversation, and to his amazement, when he turned to follow it, he saw a grinning brunette emerging from the darkness on Carrie's right.
"Mick?! You jumped ship?" Bentley asked, gawping at the grinning girl as though she'd just grown a second nose. "Does Viv know?"
"No, I didn't jump ship," Mick chuckled as she perched on the edge of the fold-out table. "I'm helping out with both."
"What? Why?"
"'Cause I wanted to," she snorted simply. "It's not like there's rules against it. This whole thing's just for fun anyway."
"Yeah, it's not actually a competition - we just both wanted to put on different shows," Riven added.
"Well could you let Viv know that? She's treating this like we're at war - we've all been sworn to secrecy," Bentley said, chuckling at his friend's competitive spirit.
"Oh we know, we already tried to get Mick to squeal but she wouldn't budge," Carrie said, sharing a knowingly playful glance with the brunette.
"And luckily, they had a cool job for me besides just being their spy," Mick cheekily added. "Or else all the effort it took to brainwash me would have been for nothing."
"Which is…?" Bentley tried.
"I'm building the stage," Mick revealed with a proud grin.
Bentley's eyes went wide. "You guys need to build your own stage?"
Riven and Carrie shared another knowing smirk. "If we want the show to be as awesome as it deserves to be then yeah, it needs a custom stage," Riven confirmed.
"And since Butchy and Miles refused to even hear us out, Mickie stepped up to the plate to handle it all on her own," Carrie added, looping her arm through the brunette's with a fond grin. "And she's doing a way better job than either of those two bozos would have done anyway."
"Well, I don't know about that…" Mick said with a roguish chuckle. "But I am doing a pretty damn good job."
"Does this mean you're helping with both shows too?" Bentley then asked, turning behind him to look for the friend who'd brought him here, who could do nothing but offer him a sheepish smile.
"...Yeah," August slowly admitted, before adding a quieter: "You know I'm terrible at saying 'no' to things."
"So your solution is just doing twice the work?" Bentley asked incredulously, the information just serving more of a purpose to fuel his growing need to help August grow a backbone.
"Well they're not big parts-" he tried to reason.
"You're actually in both of them?" Bentley demanded, his eyes practically popping out of his head when he saw the knee and elbow pads the boy was sporting. "But you don't know how to roller skate."
"They're teaching me," August chuckled, shooting Carrie and Riven a grateful smile. And when Bentley's disbelieving gaze found theirs, they just offered him smug grins and little waves, showing off their own elbow pads as they did so.
Bentley's shock jumped to a whole new level when he spotted Mick's elbow pads though. "You're in it too, Mickie?!"
"Well I didn't like how quickly Butchy dismissed them when they asked him to take part," Mick began, smirking at the very thought. "So I thought I'd teach him a lesson about not judging things at face level."
"Well, we should have known not to expect his neanderthal brain to be able to comprehend such complex concepts as 'having fun'," Carrie retorted with a cheeky dig Mick luckily started to laugh at.
"I've gotta admit, it did sound really corny at first. But once you get past the fact it's all about trains, the show is pretty fun," Mick confessed.
"Duh, of course it's fun, we're directing it," Carrie added, gesturing to the auburn-haired giant behind her, who just laughed in his approval.
"The whole show's done on roller skates - I still don't understand how anyone could know that and not automatically think it's awesome," Riven said between his chuckles.
But at that revelation, Bentley's eyes started to grow wide again. "Hold on, you're not expecting me to have a part in your show too, are you?" he asked, horrified at the very idea. "I barely have a handle on what I'm doing in Viv's already, and that's just one show. Plus, I can't even roller skate so-"
"No, we don't need you to be in it," Riven cut in with a chuckle before the blonde's anxious ramblings could make him run out of breath.
"Unless you want to be in it, then we'd totally find you a part," Carrie tagged on with an encouraging grin.
"And teach you how to skate," Riven added with a mischievous smirk. "If we can teach Mick, we can teach anyone."
And although Mick's playful whack of Riven's arm did help him relax a touch, Bentley's stance on their offer was still firm: "No thanks, I'm good." But his curiosity was still running rampant as the others giggled at his reaction. "Well if you don't need me to have a part in the show, then what did you need my help for?"
"We wanted to see if you'd be willing to help us with designing and making the costumes," Riven explained.
Bentley thought he had to have misheard him. "The costumes?"
"Yeah," Riven chuckled at the boy's expression. "What's that face for?"
"I don't know the first thing about making costumes - I've never worked with fabric in my life."
Riven and Carrie exchanged another glance. "That's kind of why we need your help," Carrie started.
But when Bentley just looked more confused than ever, Riven went on to explain. "None of the stuff in the playhouse storage bins will work because, well, they're just regular people clothes, so we need to design our own stuff. Juliet's already said she can help construct any actual clothing garments we need, but our main problem is how to actually use the outfits to make us look like trains."
Bentley's thoughts came to a screeching halt. "Wait…you guys are the trains?"
"Yeah."
"You're acting as trains? Singing trains?" They had to be pranking him, right?
"Uh, yeah," Carrie said, sharing another quick glance with Riven.
"What did you think the show was about?" he snorted.
"I don't know, I thought you were just like people working on a railroad or something," Bentley retorted with an incredulous splutter.
"Well we're not, we're the trains," Riven chuckled.
"Yeah, why else would we need to do the whole thing on wheels?" Mick added with a playful wiggle of her skate-clad foot.
"So what? You want me to…make you look like trains?" Bentley warily asked. "Like with big chimneys coming out of your heads and stuff?"
Fondly rolling her eyes at Bentley's poor attempts at stifling his laughter, Carrie stepped in to try to explain the proposal a little more clearly. "No - we just need to capture the vibe of trains - you don't need to shove us all in cardboard box models. We can show you the costumes of the official productions so you can get an idea of the sort of things we're looking for, but we don't have a huge budget, so we're gonna have to get creative - hence why we came to you," she finished with a proud grin.
"All we want you to do is draw up some concepts that make us look enough like a train to sell the illusion to the audience. And as long as they're moveable enough for us to skate in, and can be constructed from stuff we've got access to, the rest of the design can be totally down to you," Riven added.
"So basically you've got free reign to make us look as ridiculous as you want," Mick tacked on with a chuckle.
"But try to be a little nice with it," August gently offered from behind, which just set Bentley off to laugh more.
He did have to admit that the offer sounded quite tempting. After all, he'd never worked on anything like costume designs before - and from the sounds of things, this concept would let him get pretty creative with it; these weren't just average costumes - in fact, they were probably more sculpture than costume anyway. But there was something still holding him back. "I don't know, guys. I don't know if I've got the brain space to work on two shows at once-"
"Oh please, Bentley - come on," Riven pleaded. "We'll look like complete morons out there if we don't have good costumes."
"We will," Mick earnestly confirmed. "Trust me, It's not pretty."
"Well if I'm on Vivien's side then don't I want you guys to look like complete morons?" he asked with a mischievous giggle.
"Maybe, but where's the fun in a landslide victory?" Riven countered with a smirk.
"Come on, Benny, please," came Carrie's attempt at begging. "I'll sit with you and help you learn all your lines whilst you work on the costumes."
Bentley's ears pricked up. "...Really?"
"Mhm," she confirmed with a kind nod. "And I can give you all my tips for breaking down the script into easier parts to manage; I know they can seem really daunting when you try to go through them all at once."
Now that sounded like an offer he could get behind. He'd already been toying with the idea of asking Carrie for help with the seemingly impossible task of learning his lines, but had chickened out every time. There were just so many - it was like they all blurred into one every time he'd even open a page. And he hated the thought of letting Vivien down because he couldn't get his brain to work how he wanted it to, so if Carrie could actually help him get through a scene without having to look at his script the entire time… Maybe it'd be worth giving up a few pages of his sketchbook to designing train-transformer-wannabes.
But he couldn't let them think he was that easy of a target… "I don't know guys, it just doesn't feel right going behind Viv's back like this-"
"Oh come on, Benny, please," Carrie tried again, with a touch more dramatic desperation.
"I'll do your dish duty for the rest of summer," Riven attempted to bribe.
But that just spurred on Bentley's reluctance even more. After all, he was rather curious about what else he could squeeze out of the pair to help sweeten the deal. "...I'm listening."
"You can have the rest of my pudding cups with dinner each night?" Riven offered. "And you don't have to go behind Viv's back," he added. "Don't go and tell her outright, but if she asks you about it then you're totally free to tell her. And if she's not happy about it, you can back out any time you want."
"Well, okay, but I still don't know if I'll have the time to-"
"If you say 'yes' we'll get you that rare Spiderman comic you want," Riven threw out in a moment of sheer desperation.
Bentley's heart skipped a beat. Damn, they really did want his help.. "...Seriously?" he breathed, eyes widening at the very prospect.
"Sure, Carrie'll cover it - won't you, Carrie?" Riven confirmed with a smirk as he gave the blonde's shoulder a squeeze.
Shooting him a sharp glance, she hissed a tight: "I will?"
"Of course you will," Riven verified, his mischievous smirk only broadening as Carrie's mildly murderous glare was replaced with Bentley's whole-hearted satisfaction.
"Alright, done. Pass me a pen and some paper," he said, sealing the deal with a barked laugh and a cheesy grin before either one of them could back down on their offers again.
"Welcome aboard, Bentley," Riven replied, shooting him a victorious smile as he reached across the table and shook the boy's hand.
But just as Riven and the others were starting to unload all their ideas for potential costume concepts onto Bentley, with what he found to be startling levels of enthusiasm, the room's main lights flickered to life, illuminating a seething head of green hair in the doorway. Before Bentley could question the girl's sudden appearance, or could let his eyes adjust to the drastic shift in brightness though, she called out to her band partner with thunderous urgency.
"Riv, you've got a hell of a lot of explaining to do; I just looked up this 'Belle' character you want me to play - care to tell me why she's described as 'ancient' and 'peeling'?" an outraged Jade demanded. "Or why you thought I'd be so perfect to play her?"
Rolling his eyes and just laughing off the girl's anger, Riven quickly tried to appease her with a teasing: "That's not the version of her we're using, dummy. And don't you dare try to tell me you're not perfect for her - you nap all the fucking time."
As Riven and Jade broke off into their own friendly spat, and Mick and Carrie started up their own conversation about what Mick had been practising last on her skates, Bentley found himself turning to August - this time taking his turn to wear the awkwardly sheepish smile. "Why do I get the feeling I've signed up for way more than I can handle?"
"Oh come on, don't worry, it'll be fun," August reassured before offering a joke to further set him at ease. "And hey, at least you're getting a backstage job and a comic book out of it - all I'm gonna get is on-stage embarrassment and massive quads."
The guffaws spilled from Bentley's lips before he could stop them - and after glancing around to watch Carrie clumsily catching Mick (who looked as if she'd just stepped on a banana peel in an old cartoon) before she could fall, and Riven playfully bickering with Jade in the doorway, he started to think that working with them on this project might not be so bad after all. Plus, a whole costume concept all to himself? He could definitely have some fun with that…
#again - i can only apologise for the sheer insanity that is this post#but hopefully it was at least a bit of fun to read through!#it was certainly a lot of fun for me to put together - that's for sure haha#and i hope you liked the little collages i put together too; i thought some visuals would help to sell the concept a bit more#anyway - i've rambled waaaaay too much for one night - and one post#i'll love you and leave you - at last#hope you're having/have had fun at camp!#sorry i couldn't be pestering you with a more exciting post lmao#hopefully the little drabbles made up for it though!#they're about 9 pages long each - which is probably longer than what drabbles are supposed to be#but i'm still quite impressed with myself for managing to keep them that short tbh - that's quite a feat for me hahaha

In sickness
Wednesday Addams x SICK|Gn Reader
(Wednesday )
Summary: your sick and sad, Wednesday takes care of you
Tw: cursing, throwing up, getting hurt, taking gross medicine , being sick idk lmfao
(Y/n)=your name
-this is thoughts-
“This is talking”
(You and Wednesday are already dating :))
Requested by : @slowrelic
————————————————-
(Your POV)
The first thing you feel when you wake up is the pounding of you head, and a stuffy nose. You groan and open your eyes, the light from the window is too bright, it hurts.
You turn away and groan, feeling like you got hit by a bus.
You call out your roomates name, with no reply.
You call them again, still no reply.
You groan, turn and see their bed is empty.
You panic, and fall of your bed, hitting you your head on the corner. “Ow shit!” You groan, and find your phone on the floor.
You check the time and realize your VERY late for school.
-shit shit shit shit, ugh I feel terrible, I need to get- Your thoughts end abruptly when you feel bile raise in your throat, you rush to the bathroom and throw up whatever was in your stomach.
You groan and lean against the porcelain to rest, and wipe your sweating face with your sleeve.
You definitely cant do school today, you’ll have to go to the nurse, if you can make it.
————————————-
(Time skip and POV change)
Wednesday noticed your absence immediately. Usually you’d yell enids and Wednesdays name, then tackle her from behind and pull her into an obnoxious hug.
Today you didn’t, she subtly looked everywhere and couldn’t find you.
She told Thing to look around, but he came back empty handed.(haha)
Wednesday wants to say she glad you didn’t almost throw her to the ground today, but that would be a lie.
She WANTED to go to your dorm, but the teachers caught her trying to sneak away everytime.
She thought you had been hurt, but if you were, she would have most likely had a vision.
“Maybe they are sick? I remember them saying they didn’t feel the best yesterday.” Said a now worried Enid.
Maybe Enid was right.
She rushed to the nurses during lunch to demand answers about you, with Thing on her shoulder.
“Oh y/n? Poor thing came here earlier, sick as a dog, a high fever ,103. Plus a bleeding head. I gave them medicine patched them up, and escorted them back to their dorm. Id leave them alone if I were you, you dont want to get sick yourself.” The nurse rambled.
Wednesday gave them a curt nod and rushed out.
She didn’t care what the nurse said, she was going to check on you.
The feeling of dread she usually enjoyed, but not when you were at the expense.
She arrived at your dorm room and hesitated, although she doesn’t know why.
Could it be that seeing you in pain would crush her black little heart? Impossible, she was probably just worried she’d have to hear you whine. Yes…thats why.
Thing tapped her, telling her to knock.
She sighs and knocks on your door 2 times.
“C-come in.” Your voice is heard, so quiet that if there were people in the halls, she might of not heard it at all.
She slowly opens it and slips inside the room, closing the door softly behind her.
There you were, curled up in your bed, with a trash can, water, medicine and crackers next to you on the bedside table.
You looked miserable, which gave Wednesday a weird feeling within. Even in sickness you were stunning, but she disliked the pained look on your face.
Thing jumped from Wednesdays shoulders and ran to you, asking if you were ok.
You spoke in a whisper. “Heyyy buddy. I’m ok, just a bit under the weather.”
He asked what happened to your bandaged head.
You chuckle, which turns into a cough.
Wednesday cringes at that.
“I fell out of bed is all, I’m ok Thing.”
Wednesday walked over, but avoided looking at you.
“Of course you’d be so idiotic as to injury yourself so easily.”
You smile. “You care about me.”
Wednesday scoffs and rolls her eyes. “Hold your tongue.”
You let out a weak laugh, then cover your mouth as you cough. “Ugh karma. Ow. So uh, whatcha doing here? Idk if you heard, but I’m sick.”
Wednesday rolled her eyes. “Yes I have heard. I came simply to make sure you don’t die, Thing would be upset with me.”
You smile, knowing she’s using him as an alibi. You’ve been dating for awhile and can tell she cares, in her own weird way.
You grin and rest one of of your fingers on his. “Don’t worry bud , Ill be fin-“ you turn you head and go into a coughing fit.
Wednesday hesitantly pats your back after Thing motions to you.
You wheeze and then smile. “Thanks.”
Wednesday rolls her eyes and grabs your desk chair, setting it near the bed and sits down.
“Oh you don’t have to-“ Wednesday interrupts.
“You haven’t taken your medication have you? It is unopened.”
You sigh. “No but I dont need it I’m fine.”
Wednesday stares at you, dark eyes taking in your weak form. “A temperature of 103 for a human body, isn’t ‘fine’.” She grabs the medicine and opens it, grabbing a spoon that’s next to it.
You stare at her curiously…is she gonna…
Wednesday pours some into the spoon and practically shoved it in front of your face. “Open.”
Your eyebrows raise ever so slightly. “Wha- I dont need to babied Wednesday.”
She stares you in the eyes. “Don’t fight with me on this, I will not have you dying where you lay. Now open.”
You blush slightly as you open your mouth and she surprisingly softly puts the spoon in it. You gulp down the gross medicine flavor, and take a drink of water. “Thanks..”
She all of a sudden places her cold hand on your burning forehead. You sigh at the coolness and lean into her touch.
She hums. “Rest, i will wait for you to wake, and give you more medicine.”
You nod, already drifting to sleep. Thing snuggles up next to you.
She watched as you fell asleep under her touch, and caresses your cheek with her pinky.
“Sleep well amor.”
———————————————————
(I’m sorry but my favorite thing is sick/hurt reader HEHEH
Also I was already writing this then got your request for more Wednesday , I thought it would be perfect :))

Lilith in the 11th house Composite
Ok this is gonna be a harsh start off but Composite Lilith in the 11th house could mean when you guys get into an argument the other could talk shit about you to their friends or vice versa. The friends know you don’t even mean it and you two will go right back to being with each other anyway, but will support you in your shit talking☠️😂
So yea it’s an indication of your immediate friend circle not liking the other person you’re with in this composite this is at first maybe. this goes for both sides. Especially the male in this dynamic the female friends of the girl he’s in this composite with, will not like him/be in disapproval of you guys dating.
The girls will talk shit on him depending on the sign/ element. If it’s an air sign it will be personality based insults rather than physical appearance looks like if it were fire or earth here. It’s typically not unwarranted, Lilith in the position only activates if the essence of her placement is ‘called’ upon. Could be a lot of socially unacceptable shit coming from the male with this composite chart. Lilith for a woman is her empowerment, Lilith for a man is his insecurity/shame where he showcases his bad and uncouth behaviors.
So put that together in a composite chart and you get two different povs in one relationship. If you guys share a friend group the male could behave in a socially unacceptable way to the female friends/ acquaintances of the girl in this composite. It’s nothing like cheating or flirting although it definitely could be..it’s more so of a back handed insult/unnecessarily blunt kind of energy coming off the male. It’s petty and the girls clap back. Your girl friends respectfully tolerate him..and not genuinely like him☠️
Lilith in the 11th composite can also mean you share friends that may face ridiculing by societies standards of sorts.. just for the way they are. Like having queer friends and friends apart of the LGBTQ with this composite, you may especially attract friends of that caliber while together regardless of if your a homo/hetro relationship or not. The female in this composite is more open hearted to taboos of life and people in general here with this aspect and that part of her is highlighted within this relationship, she feels like a safe space for these new people/friends. People with this placement in the natal chart would probably somewhat relate as well😭
Um on a more lighter note you two with you guy’s friend group might like to play horror games all together a lot. Or together you find yourself doing more riskier things with the friend group. The energy of a 11th house lilith natal, synastry and composite is such an iconic energy. Chaotic but ICONICC.
You like to get that thrill in with your friends while you two are together in a friendship and the friends love it/have invigorating fun doing activities with you two like games or maybe traveling somewhere because you as a pair just make things feel 10times more engaging. It’s addictive to see from the outside.
Lilith is a really raw and forward energy , she looks you deep in the core of your soul so Lilith in the 11th can mean you can get comfortable with your friendships/new acquaintances you make during this relationship fairly well and quickly. There may be more female/feminine friends than male.
The comfort is strangely natural and if the ruler of your Lilith/11th house is in an earth sign it can make the friends you guys make during this relationship almost long lasting even if the relationship itself is not more, long lasting especially for the girl.
As for you two as a couple with this placement there could also be ..some like online freaky stuff. Idk uhh, take that how you will BUT..YOU WILL absolutely have some kind of mixture between freaky and or taboo shit and the internet-webs. Like for example those horror games I mentioned bc Lilith rules the scary and banished stuff in society/generally speaking. So along side Pluto she’s definitely a horror gal. Mixing the internet (11th house) with a dash of thrilling horror/or taboo/freak stuff(Lilith).
This Lilith could also mean you guys are unafraid of breaking social/societal norms while together. It’s practically unconscious how easily you guys naturally fall into this dynamic. Like for example the girl is more calm one and the guy is more emotional one and you two will feel shamelessly about it. Or you guys are quite literally gay like either two gay boys two lesbian girls already lol. Regardless something is gonna be different and particularly unique within this relationship. It’s kind of like you are you and I am me and I respect you in your nature bc we’re weird in a way that compliments the other.
Could also indicate you guys never really had a friendship phase. Like from the jump.. just been absolutely..shamelessly freaky and open about how you feel with each other. The girl/more feminine energy in this dynamic could be a little restrictive(in a more hetro dynamic) but that’s not stopping the thrill at all..
Anyways I think that’s it. See yalsssis😘

HI so i wrote the implied meeting between salman paak and kleya. it's part of my magnum opus eat your young andor concept fic. this is ultimately going to be bix-centered, focused on "throw enough rope till the legs have swung" (pretty on the nose for ya, sorry paak)
anyway, it's below the cut. maybe let me know what you think? idk i'm bored.
The man has Ferrix written all over him. It’s in the way he leaves the seats in the room for those much older and those much younger, the way he genuinely listens to everyone in the room, and the mechanic’s oil he’s tried to wash out of the jacket he wears. Kleya selects him as her mark out of the packed room. A speaker drones on about the injustices the Empire has rought, and Kleya nods along – she agrees, obviously. But speaking to a room of people will ultimately do nothing. It’s her job to pick out people she believes will be willing to take an extra step. She has hope for the man who would come all the way from Ferrix.
[ok itty bitty time skip (because i’m impatient with my writing brain and want to share this anyway), like a matter of a few minutes, think rebel meeting but more like a lecture. kleya looks like she should be part of it, like she could be one of the leaders of this little group, even. but she stands on the outskirts of the room, like she’s the lowest rung of the leader totem pole. in reality she’s not one of them, but she’s there to see if she can get anyone for her & luthen’s purposes. she also introduces herself to paak. obviously with a different name and all that. okay onto the rest]
“You know,” Kleya says over a cup of caf, “If you’re serious about this, you could be our liaison on your homeworld.” She uses ‘our’ lightly in terms of the current surroundings. She hopes he doesn’t notice the leaders of the group aren’t fraternizing with the attendees. Her network needs this. The Separatists here might too, but there’s a reason she’s handpicked him specifically. They don’t need to know that.
Paak lets a huff of air out of his nose, a laugh, maybe, “Ferrix? They’d rather take the Empire’s money and ignore them.” Kleya’s brow furrows as the words leave his mouth. “They have each other, they can ignore the rest.”
“But you’re here.”
“But I’m here,” he sighs.
Kleya spies her opening. “I can offer more money for the Imperial toys you trade already.”
“You don’t want some uprising?” Paak raises an eyebrow, silently saying what Kleya wants him to realize – you’re not the same as them, the Separatists she’s playing. Maybe he even thinks their arrangement would be less dangerous than an overt uprising. She hopes, for his sake, he doesn’t have to learn the truth of the matter.
“We know the game you salvagers play,” Kleya says, revealing just enough to reel him in. “And we could put it to better use. A use you’d probably like more, anyway, considering you’re here.” She sips her caf, looks back at the room.
Paak is silent for a moment longer than Kleya would like. He sips his caf too, thinking. She interjects, “You’d get a radio, signal when you have something for my buyer. We’ll catch it, he’ll pay a visit. All fairly simple, if you can get your hands on equipment we need at the right time.”
At that, Paak nods. Although he still looks the slightest bit uneasy, Kleya knows she’s got him. “As long as the radio’s alive, you’ll get a stipend too.” She debates for a split second what she’ll say next, but goes ahead anyway, “All the better for your family, right?”
Paak raises an eyebrow, but there’s something in his eye that says he’s in for the guarantee of a regular income stream. “You said liaison,” he says, finally, “Could I bring someone in, put them in contact with your buyer?”
Kleya doesn’t want to say yes, but they need Ferrix. “Sure, you’re the one on the ground.” A half-truth. He doesn’t need to know that.
Paak nods, “You have a deal.”
Kleya suppresses a smile. She can still be happy about the small successes. “We’ll send you the radio in the next few weeks. Signal, and the buyer will come.”
#i literally hold my breath writing kleya and had to take multiple breaks writing this#i love it maybe you will too or maybe you'll hate it but fuck it#i do this for me and you are my hostage audience (she says putting it below a cut)#kleya marki#andor fic

Unpopular and kinda mean opinion, but I actually think they could have something going on romantically, but I don’t really know if they should. I just think that their personalities and circumstances will make it very difficult to have a healthy balanced relationship and, whether platonic or romantic, I think is kind of the result we saw in chapter 2. If they are involved romantically, then that took place in a vacuum, where they were constantly around each other without having to try and constantly sharing the same experiences. I do think Jimin carries a lot of the emotional burden, not just with jungkook, but probably in a lot of his relationships just given his personality. Conversely, obviously excluding private relationships we don’t know anything about, jungkook has never really had to try in relationships. Like he’s the baby in his family which gives him a natural place and way of being treated, he’s the baby in bts who is also a group that never forced strict age hierarchies on him despite him being the youngest, even pretty much his entire friend group are same age friends which by Korean standards makes friendship a lot easier. I think that all of jungkooks relationships have just had a natural ease to them, with him usually being on the receiving end. He says in AYS that they didn’t hang out and kinda seems like he blames most of it on Jimin but where was he? He had no problems doing vlives but didn’t even know jimins schedule or bother to visit him while he was promoting in korea.
I’m not saying all this just to be mean to jungkook, I just think there is a real reality that if they are romantically involved, then that relationship was built in a bubble with all these mechanisms that don’t exist or work in the real world. Even if we look at it platonically, I think they were struggling to navigate just hanging out in chapter 2 (although I could see the argument of them choosing to spend time separately either to prepare for enlistment which they thought would be separate, or to battle the probably natural codependency that forms from spending so long with someone in such a close setting and in all aspects of you life)
I do think if they’ve ever been romantically involved, they weren’t together during that part of chapter 2 when they weren’t seeing each other or talking. I see a lot of jikookers make excuses like “well when my husband was in medical school blah blah blah…” but the reality is that for relationships to work you have to make time for each other, even if that just a half hour phone call a night. It’s clear that they weren’t talking enough to know what was going on in each others life beyond official content releases.
Idk weirdly I see things that could very plausibly imply they have a romantic relationship, yet there are things that I feel are missing or unbalanced for it to be a healthy romantic relationship. So it leads me to ok are they just not romantic at all or do they have some semblance of romance (like an open relationship or something)? Or is that just a cover up for me wanting to think they’re together even when my brain is acknowledging that elements are missing?
Anon, the jikook police are plotting your assassination as we speak.
I'm joking but, do sleep with one eye open!
Hm, this is a heavy take. I don't think it's fair to assume what type of relationship and dynamic jk has with his family and friends outside of bts. We just haven’t seen enough of it to assume. This 'he's the baby, everyone adores him' narrative might've been the case a couple of years ago but, jk has been very adamant on breaking out of that box. He's done things that completely go against rigid social standards and expectations for idols such as: getting tattoos (and a whole sleeve at that! a baddie fr), candidly discussing sex (that live where he talks about seven and asks a commenter why they would think sex is considered 'dirty') and talking about how he sees clothing as 'genderless. I wouldn't be so quick to say jk is the type to be 'content' with stereotypes. He's grown so much over the years and he's worked so hard on himself. You won't see him completely shut down after making a small mistake on stage anymore. Instead, he smiles and moves on.
There's this post theorising why jk might've not known jm's schedules or tried seeking him out. I tried for ages to find the exact post but, I could not for the life of me find it (I'll link it If I end up finding it).
Anyways, the poster basically said that during late 2022-early 2023, jm and jk were on different pages. Jm was hyper-focused on producing FACE whilst Jk admitted that he was just trying to take it slow and finally take a real break after continuously working. We know jk is the type to get pretty hyper-fixated on completing certain goals and tasks. I'm pretty sure he knows this too. That's why he really took time to rest because he just tends to just throw himself into work head-first. Also, Tae mentions in ep 3 of ays that bts have a shared calender. If jk wasn't working at the time, I don't think he'd need to check the calender? That's probably why he didn't know every logistic of jm's schedule. Plus, jm never seemed bothered by it. He was always gently filling jk in or correcting him about his schedule. I don't think this should paint jk in any negative light. The man just needed a well deserved break.
The poster also said that, if work wasn't something jk wanted to think about at the time, maybe constantly seeing jm working sort of put him off? This is pure speculation
In regards to jkk, I think the word 'unhealthy' is overstepping our boundaries as fans. From what I've seen, jkk have shown what a good, healthy relationship is. Those two adore one another, it's abundantly clear. Them spending time apart, discussing why and moving forward is such a good example of a healthy relationship dynamic. More people need to be like them. Also, joint military enlistment doesn't just happen like that. I'm sure it involved heavy discussion between them. There’s the fact of having to go through screenings to be eligible. This doesn't just happen on the whim of two people who share an unhealthy bond.

i know you're gonna get like 10 million seth asks for the ask game so i'm gonna send in dipper pines instead!!!
DIPPERRRRR ouhhhh I love him so much. ok so from this ask game:
favorite thing about them
Can I just say everything??? Idk he's just. such a silly. just a boy. He loves his sister, is anxiety riddled and insecure, very trans and autistic, a bright and curious kid, he's just amazing overall. He does has his flaws but that just adds to his lovable charm, like he's just a kid!!! ofc he'll be selfish and get up to trouble, and I wholly support it !
least favorite thing about them
Nothing. His crush on Wendy does make me cringe a bit but its ok I forgive him.
favorite line
CAN I SAY THE LAST LINE OF THE SERIES I think it was the last I don't remember. It's so good pulls at my heart. "If you've ever taken a road trip through the Pacific Northwest, you've probably seen a bumper sticker for a place called Gravity Falls. It's not on any maps and most people have never heard of it. Some people think it's a myth. But if you're curious, don't wait. Take a trip. Find it. It's out there, somewhere in the woods... waiting."
also one of the Funny Lines that come to mind is "Pacific is the worst! And I'm not just saying that out of the jealousy, I would say it to her face." [Cue Dipper opening the door to Pacifica] "You're the worst." [Slams door]
brOTP
FORD well it's more familial but I think it counts. Their relationship as uncle and nephew is sososoo important to me... Them both being nerds, how Dipper looks up to Ford and want's to be like him, the obvious parallels drawn between the sets of twins in general. Ughhhh. If we're going for a more strictly defined Friend relationship tho ermmm idk .the thing with Gravity Falls is that there's a lack of characters around Mabels and Dippers age, and the ones that exist tend to serve as antagonists
OTP
DIPCIFICAAAA not like there's many other options, as stated above. but still ughhhh they're so cute Northwest Manor Mystery ☹☹☹☹ The episode of all time. It was so cute and nice to see Pacifica show a softer side and prove herself as more than just a rich girl stereotype
nOTP
None really, theres nothing I'm particularly averse to. I suppose Candy and Dipper? Although I haven't seen many if any people actually ship that. Oh actually Wendipper I Can't with LMAO. First of all Dipper is too cringefail, second of all not fond of the age gap, third of all I just can't see Wendy being into him like Please. oh also not a big fan of Pinecest. ok seems like I Was able to turn up nOTPs lmfao
random headcanon
gonna make one up rn He's what I call conditionally ambidextrous, like me! Basically he naturally uses his left hand for certain things, and his right for others. Also that he'll need/get glasses as he grows up :3
unpopular opinion
I am wholly indifferent to billdip and IDC if people ship it, It's not my business what other people do with their pixels. and tbh the themes of manipulation and a power dynamic can be interesting when explored a certain way
song i associate with them
Oh I haven't thought about this.... gimme a moment... ermm Puppet Boy by DEVO? Cuz of that one episode lmao
favorite picture of them
I am not in a place to go through episodes and take screenshots (I am in class) so I am just going off of what turns up on google
This is SUCH a cool shot, the whole sequence of Bill coming into scene in general was so creative and amazing. And it comes from my favourite episode <3
Also idk if this counts but, Bipper <3 what a silly guy
#send me more gravity falls asks actually!!! I yapped plenty about raincode already its so nice to talk#about anything else for a change. lmao. and also I love this show#asks#ask game#gf#dipper pines

OK so.. I saw your post about taking suggestions for part two of Be Safe (which really I enjoyed BTW) and I have a few loose ideas that you are more than welcome to use - if inspiration happens to strike you from the random scenarios that have bounced around in my crazy head.
Az overhearing a couple of males talking disrespectfully about his mate, in particular her body. It really irks him and he confronts them about it, scaring the hell out of them in the process. Only for his mate to walk in at the end of the confrontation and be like "what's going on?"
I always loved thinking of a moment where Az would walk in on his mate sleeping while curled up under his cloak. Because let's be real, using his cloak as a blanket would be very cozy and soothing because I'm sure it would smell heavenly. And since their mates, his scent would probably bring her a sense of comfort. But since the bond has not snapped for her yet, he's not sure how to react, so he just let's her be - although his heart just swells at the sight.
Also the thought of Az's shadows behaving differently for his mate is just so cute. There's a few that will always trail behind her as she walks to the library, floating around her as she goes about her day. Maybe there could be a scene where someone even comments on the shadows that hang around her and she's just a bit oblivious as to what it means. Someone could comment like "I've never heard/seen of his shadows acting like that around anyone else" and she's just like "oh really?" (like girl, come on 😒)
Another little scene I imagine is waking from a nightmare and wondering (somewhat half asleep) to Az's room. He senses that she's approaching or maybe his shadows tell him of that fact, but either way she's in the hallway still hesitant to knock and he quickly opens the door, knowing something is wrong. After a bit of an angsty conversation about why she's even there in the middle of the night, she admits something like "because I feel better in your presence, safe, at peace" and at those words he's about to just fall to his knees.
IDK girl, that's all I've got right now. I hope this message isn't too overwhelming, but I got a little excited when I saw your post. Again, you don't have to use any of these ideas.. or use them all, whatever you wish! I just cannot wait to read more of your Azriel fics. Hope you're taking care of yourself in the process though 🤍
omg all of these are so good! had me squealing and kicking my feet, imagining writing them out 🥺 I was thinking about a comfort scene after a nightmare too! I wasn't sure if I wanted Az or reader to have the nightmare. If reader has the nightmare, it would follow the scenario you wrote. If Az has the nightmare it'd be of him losing you to Helion lol and his shadows would be the one to wake you and bring you to him. It's look loosely like this (so let me know which one would be preferred. To comfort or be comforted) :
“Did you have a nightmare?” “Something like that,” Azriel grumbles. “You’ve been so grumpy lately. What’s gotten into you?” “Nothing,” he replies all too quickly. “You know what would make you feel better?” “What?” “Cuddles.”
I definitely would love to incorporate these into the next part! And if by chance some of the ideas don't make it, I wouldn't mind writing drabbles/another one shot over them.
Thank you so much!!! 🥺💙

Sweet smile.
Summary: it’s been a while since you first got into college. It haven’t been easy, you’re constantly feeling stressed and anxious, being away from your home and friends isn’t helping nether, but maybe someone will.
Warnings: anxiety attacks, mention of loneliness, probably grammar.
Genre: comfort, fluff, strangers to friends.
Word count: Idk, sorry.
It’s winter, it’s late, it’s freezing cold, it’s lonely, it’s dark. That was a usual thing after classes lately, ever since you got into college you’ve been feeling alone since you’re away from your family and friends and with how introvert you are you couldn’t make any friends either.
You’re stressed about your calcifications, you feel that even when you study the most and did your best is not enough, it never is. You start to shake and your heart is starting to beat faster and faster, you wanna run to a corner, sit on the floor with your knees to your chest and cry hoping to get better soon. Luckily for you, you’re near your favorite room, although you don’t even have classes there, the music room. You don’t know why but it just makes you feel good being there; it’s quiet, the smell of the instruments is delightful to you and when there are people playing with those instruments you love to listen to them.
You went into the music room as fast as your shaky legs allowed you, you sat down on your favorite corner and started to cry. Letting everything you’ve been keeping in your chest, it feels good, but so so bad at the same time, you feel how your chest is pressing against your heart and lungs, how your throat starts to close and how little you’re able to breath. You’re not just crying anymore.
You’re immersed in your “anxiety state” that you don’t notice when a tall young boy walks up to the room, he turns on the lights and talks.
“Are you ok? Do you need any help?” He looks worried, he doesn’t move from the frame of the door.
You don’t answer, you try, but you can’t talk even if you want to. He notice it and walks up to you.
“Hey, hey, it’s ok I won’t do anything to hurt you. Can you write what’s happening to you?” He says softly, he kneels and hands you his phone with the notes app open.
“I’m just having an anxiety attack, it’s ok” You feel so ashamed of the situation. You feel guilty because a random boy is worrying about you.
“Oh, I see…” He looks at you in the eyes, his gaze is soft. “Maybe this can help.” He gets up and takes a bass out of the case he was carrying, he connects it to the amplifier that was near you two and sits down. “I don’t know if this would be much help, but I find the sound of the bass relaxing, so I hope you do too” He starts playing, you don’t know what he’s playing so you’re focusing your attention in it.
Your chest feels lighter, your breath feels consistent, you’re feeling relief.
He looks at you, he starts to smile when he notice that your breathing is getting back to normal. He’s happy to be helping you in his own way.
His smile is sweet, you’re thinking. He starts singing, now you get that he was playing Blender by 5SOS. His voice is soft, everything he did since he got in the room felt soft.
A few more minutes passed and you’re finally able to talk. “Thank you” you tell him, your voice is weak. He still has that sweet smile on his face, that makes you feel better.
“No worries, I’m glad that you’re better.” He leaves his bass aside. “I’m Jooyeon by the way, nice to meet you.” He leans towards you.
“I’m y/n, nice to meet you too Jooyeon” You gifted him a little and weak smile, although you feel better and the anxiety attack passed away you aren’t fully recovered yet. He notice it.
“So, y/n, I won’t ask you why it happened what just happen ‘cause I don’t wanna make you feel uncomfortable. So instead I’m going to invite you something to eat, what do you think?” He isn’t talking as soft as before, his voice now is more upbeat, is obvious that he wants to cheer you up.
You hesitate to accept his offer, but something to eat sounds good after all the energy you just lost, plus, he reminded you of a cute dog, maybe a golden retriever and you couldn’t say no to a golden retriever. “Sure, that sounds good. I’ll pay my food though.”
“Oh don’t worry about that” he stands up and starts to pack his stuff. “I want to pay for your food, but if you want to after that we can get a dessert and you can pay that.” He laughs a bit, his smile is not just sweet anymore, is bright and joyful. “Here, let me help you” He extends his hand, you grab it and he helps you getting up. “ok, let’s go.”
“Let’s go.” You two left the room to get some food.
You made your first friend here, not in the way you wanted, but a friend nonetheless and he was a great friend.
That’s everything for this first ever imagine I’ve made, I hope you enjoyed it and don’t forget to leave any feedback or request you have!!
See you next time!!
