This is part of a weekly series collecting updates from and relating to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan.

This post is not wholly comprehensive and is intended as an overview, links provided lead to further details. Dates are in accordance with China Standard Time, the organization is chronological. My own biases on some things are reflected here. Anything I include that is not concretely known is indicated as such, and you’re welcome to do your own research and draw your own conclusions as you see fit. 12-11 → Moonshine, a Weibo account that the international whalers get a lot of their fake “information” about Gong Jun from, made a post saying he would no longer be active online. This lasted maybe four days.

→ Kangshifu posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Colgate posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

12-12 → Mengniu posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ MUJOSH posted another short video (flashing lights cw) of behind the scenes footage.

→ Hsu Fu Chi posted a commercial featuring one of their stock photos of Gong Jun and soundbites from commercials he did for the same product last year.

→ L’Oreal posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Honor posted a video showing a 3D screen displaying a commercial featuring Gong Jun, showing fans (both solos and CPFs, though it of course focuses on the solos) attending the opening of their newest physical store.

12-13 → Sensitive date: Anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre.

→ Gong Jun reposted a post from Nanjing Memorial Hall in rememberance of the event. His added caption: “Don't forget the national mourning, pray for peace.” The same was also reposted by his studio with the added caption, “Remember history and cherish peace.”

12-14 → At 4am, the Instagram posted a quote and photo of the Argentinian soccer player Messi.

→ MUJOSH posted another behind the scenes video from their photoshoot with Gong Jun. (flashing lights cw) They also posted a video advertising some of the freebies that come with the product line.

→ Kangshifu posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Rumor spread that Gong Jun would not be attending the GQ red carpet event later in the week due to worsening COVID conditions. Several other celebrities including Yang Mi, his costar from Fox Spirit Matchmaker, had already publicly pulled out.

→ BlueOrangebird posted a translation of the interview Zhang Zhehan did for ELLE magazine in April 2021. Also later posted to Tumblr.

→ Rising with the Wind passed government review. It can be expected to air soon!

→ Gong Jun posted to his personal Weibo “I wish for the GQ MOTY annual ceremony to be held successfully”, confirming that he would not be attending.

→ The Instragram posted partial audio for a song. A demo of the same song was leaked as early as October 2021. They also changed the pfp to a photo from the shoot Zhang Zhehan did for 博客天下 that was released on 2021-08-09.

→ CAPA put out their 10th immoral artists ban list, over a full year after the previous one. This time it includes only livestreamers, and it says that those named will be contacted privately by local channels about appealing. There were no hotsearches about this.

12-15 → The full song that had earlier been posted to the Instagram was made available on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. 00 (connected to Xie Yihua) openly encouaged whalers in China to use illegal VPNs and make additional accounts on these platforms to artificially increase sales and stream numbers. The song did unfortunately get to #1 on both iTunes and Spotify for a short period before falling below #200 the following day. At the time of this post, Chinese netizens who are not fans have not taken notice to any of this, including marketing accounts not talking about it.

The entire notion of a banned artist trying to make a comeback by releasing a song on only international platforms then encouraging Chinese fans to jump the wall and artificially boost its numbers looks very bad, in case it’s not obvious. Hopefully nothing more comes of this. Fan Observations / Further Info: - Although they aren’t supposed to be, songs can be uploaded to Spotify by people who do not have the rights to them, and will not be taken down unless the actual rights holder makes a successful appeal. For example, Gu Meng is currently available on Spotify from someone who is definitely not Zhang Zhehan. - There are two artist pages for Zhang Zhehan on Spotify, one of which was his previous international sales specifically through the licensing company 心喜. This company also uses YoYoRock as an international distributer. The new song, however, is through Shanghai Raiyi which seems to have been established specifically for this. I answered an ask about this yesterday which can be found [here].

→ BEAST posted an article for their New Year’s product line to their WeChat, including two photo ads and a gif of Gong Jun.

→ MUJOSH posted another short behind the scenes video featuring Gong Jun.

12-16 → An Instagram claiming to be the song’s licensing company that had posted the full song the previous day was deactivated, then reactivated 19 minutes later. The reason is unknown but is suspected to be so they can claim CPFs mass reported them. (We did not.) A reminder that Instagram does not work that way.

→ Gong Jun’s studio posted a teaser commercial for BEAST’s New Year’s line. (11:16, 511 kadian) Caption: “This beastly little rabbit is a bit naughty. Will it be able to successfully complete the New Year's performance with the archer @ Gong Jun Simon?” This was reposted by BEAST with the added caption, “🐰🐰🐰🏹️🏹️🏹️💗💗💗” Shortly after, BEAST posted one of the photo ads from the previous day to their Weibo. (1129 kadian)

12-17 → Gong Jun posted a log of eighteen travel photos to his personal Weibo. (11:20, 51120 (“511 love you”) kadian with the date) Caption: “Heard that if one sees sunlight shining on the golden mountains, it would bring good luck. Sharing it here with you.” [quoted translation] He also posted the same to Xiao Hong Shu, caption: “Anyone who sees the golden mountains in the sunshine will know Very lucky! ! !” and as two posts to Instagram [1] [2] captions: “Two posts Isn’t it fine 😂” and “Wuhu Finished posting” Fan Observations: - The two photos of Gong Jun from behind fully covered by his hoodie had many people raising eyebrows again. [Here] is a comparison of the shoulders, [here] and [here] are thumb comparisons. (It’s been a while since we last compared thumbs, huh? 😅) Addition 12-21: Another hand comparison. - Several of the photos were taken at a hotel beside a golf course which is often used by people who go to play there. - One of the photos is of him running towards the mountains. :’) - The city is Baisha, the central city for Yunnan’s ethnic minority. The women’s traditional dress for this group is known as “披星戴月”, which coincidentally is one of the lines from Zhang Zhehan’s unreleased song Running To Meet You: “我一定来找你披星戴月” / “I will definitely come to you, draped in the stars and moon.” :’’) - The Instagram captions used spaces rather than punctuation, which is not Gong Jun’s usual writing style on there. I actually checked and he hasn’t written Instagram captions like that at all in at least the last year.

→ Kangshifu posted three photo ads featuring Gong Jun.

→ Charlotte Tilbury posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun. Addition 12-19: They also posted four photo ads to their Instagram.

eh that’s quite long tbf and goes it way to much detail here’s my version ayayyay

ok so first of the dash itself. the two main tabs: Following and For You. most people tend to use Following, which is why reblogging is so important in this site. i kind of treat reblogging as i would likes on twitter. it means more people can see the lovely art, and you get a copy on ur blog!! also, people tend not to add comments, instead they treat the tags when reblogging like comments. specifically the tags, not actually adding to the post. that’s normally used if you have something to add to the post.

also following quite a few people is important to get the dash moving!! since you probably only follow a few people it will be very slow at the moment, but as you follow more, it weill speed up!!! i follow 600 ish people and have a new post on my dash every minute or so i’ll send you a list of good blogs to follow in another ask probs!!

there’s also dash settings!! if you want the tumblr experience of just the Following tab, i’d turn off the preferences “Best Stuff first” “include posts liked by the blogs you follow” “include based on your likes” and “include followed tag posts” but AGAIN THIS IS ALL PREFERENCE. this is just what i prefer but play around!!! there’s also the interface settings, and i tend to keep all of them on!!

anyway that was mildly badly explained but THE BLOG ITSELF!!! my favourite feature is the tagging systems you can create!!! under blog settings you can add ‘features tags’ aka tags you can search your blog for. people tend you use them so you can find someone’s original posts in one place, art in one place, or to save posts they really enjoy!! ld recommend creating an art and original post tags so freaks like ME can easily enjoy your art.

and i’d add the whole don’t leave ur blog default spiel or people with think you are a bot but you’ve already changed that up!!!

i wanted to leave this AU on a positive note but anyone who saw my other update post knows already. this is a very passionate response because i and other scene danganronpa fans have been dealing with this for over 3 years, along with general homophob!c harassment. very ironic considering this is danganronpa we’re talking about. for context, i will not be looking up anything under my au tags or anything relating to scene danganronpa again, so i will not see any of your messages or responses.

i am sick and tired of the continuous disrespect of the scene danganronpa community to my and other artists boundaries. you constantly reupload our artwork without permission, steal our designs, and illegal sell our artwork/designs, then spew some of the most vile insults when we point it out. this is an issue MULTIPLE scene DR fans have dealt with. i have absolutely no motivation or want to return to the community if you all continue to disrespect artists.

seriously, this is the scenekid danganronpa community, why is it so awful??? i just wanted to make funny scenekid edits for fun, now im sad i ever posted my art online, and have seen other artists wish the same. i also dont even like to consider myself a scenekid anymore considering their history of platforming horrible people and just generally being pretty disgusting, but thats a whole can of worms.

thank you to all the people who were respectful. when i was still active in our little community + the scenekid DR community as a whole, it was really cool. i was super into scene fashion at the time and it was fun meeting other scenekids who liked danganronpa, and had similar HCs to mine. it was really awesome whenever i posted a new edit and someone said “hey! ive been waiting for you to do this character :)” and actually made me tear up a few times. realistically its not that big of a deal, it was just cool seeing so many people genuinely appreciate my artwork, even if it was just badly done scenekid edits of danganronpa characters. i really loved seeing people make content /inspired/ by my edits and even say they wanted to cosplay them. while i dont have those feelings anymore, it was fun while it lasted. sorry if this seems really sappy and overly serious, im not sure how to write things casually, HaHa.

you met him in spring, a month before the new school year started. you were only six years old yet people have always said that you “matured” too early and “closed off” too early for your age. even your parents, who always had a creepy stuffed toy perched on their shoulder, told you that you’ve changed when you turned five and started asking why they have those ugly toys with them when there were none.

in that same month, you found out that the gross creatures you’ve been seeing latched onto your parents were “curses” and that you can see them because you have something called “cursed energy”. it also turned out that what you used to get rid of those “curses” on your mother’s shoulder is a “cursed technique”.

you wish they had told you earlier, when your parents weren't batshit terrified of you and when you haven't set one of them on black flames, which, you also found out, could only be extinguished with your touch no matter how many gallons of water you pour.

your mother and father were so traumatized by the incident that when some middle-aged men dressed in obviously expensive kimonos knocked on your door and told your parents they'd take you in exchange for money, they agreed without second thoughts.

"we're messengers from the gojo family," they had said when your parents opened the door. no greeting, no salutations, just straight into business. "we're here to make an agreement with you in exchange for your child."

you, obviously, were highly against it. you even cried and begged not to be sold to some strange men you've never even once heard of. and even promised to not use whatever that ability was again. your plea fell on deaf ears as your parents immediately agreed to go to kyoto to further discuss your illegal adoption.

they brought you to some traditional japanese compound, one you've only seen on television. you could tell the moment you arrived that whatever family lived there was filthy rich. they had maids who greeted the men you came with a 90-degree bow and a separate set of maids who directed your party into the supposed meeting room.

you weren't allowed inside while they were discussing the terms and whatnot of your adoption, which really is making you one of their servants, so you resorted to waiting at the yard in front of the engawa and admiring the small pond nearby.

then you encountered what you then knew was a curse.

gojo satoru, aged seven turning eight, was walking with his personal servants to their dojo when he decided he'd skip that day's training and run off wherever his feet take him.

and it took him to you.

he was just passing by the area he knew a meeting was happening when he saw you, a fellow child, standing face to face with a two-meter tarantula-like curse, so he decided to observe.

judging from the amount of cursed energy he could feel it emanated, it's a grade 3. pretty easy to get rid of for the bearer of six eyes, but not for some normal child.

he wasn't sure you could see it in the first place, but judging by how blankly you were staring at the curse's five little red eyes, you could.

minutes passed yet neither you nor the curse did anything, so he got bored and was about to leave you on your own when the overgrown spider suddenly hissed. your reaction was immediate and in less than a second, the curse was covered in black flames right after you pointed your index finger at it.

gojo watched the curse groan and wallow in pain while desperately shooting out webs that dissipate in milliseconds due to whatever you did. you stood in your place, unmoving, just staring at the curse until it turned into purple dust that instantly disappeared.

"wow! you exorcised it!" he exclaimed, hopping towards you while giving you a slow clap.

you turned your head towards him and narrowed your eyes. "who are you?"

ooh, you seemed frisky. he liked that. he was tired of people bending down upon seeing him only because he had that cursed (literally) technique.

he grinned, then clasped his hands behind his back. "i'm gojo satoru! what about you?"

your eyes widened, gojo satoru? he must be one of the people you would serve then. you bowed your head, already aware that servants like you shouldn't look your masters in the eye.

"i'm just a servant."

your voice was still bold, confident, even though you were looking at his feet instead of his face. you then nodded your head in an attempt to bow, "if you'll excuse me."

gojo's grin widened as you started to turn around and walk away from him. you had nowhere to go since the yard was enclosed in shoji doors that only had access outside if you went into one of them, but you still continued with the hopes of sending him a clear message that you didn't want to talk to him and you'd like to be alone.

clearly he didn't get that, as you heard a "wait!" and footsteps running after you. he was walking beside you within seconds, hands clasped at the back of his head.

"you're a liar. anyone who has cursed technique like you won't be a servant here, ya know."

you continued walking, looking forward instead of bowing down or turning to him. "i am an exception, it seems."

he hummed then tilted his head to get his face on the same level as yours. he then stared at you—your eyes—and started rocking back and forth on the sole of his feet. "you're not lying?"

you stopped and decided to look him straight in the eye, momentarily getting distracted by the most gorgeous pair of irises you had ever seen as you looked at him incredulously. "why would i lie?" you irritatingly asked.

he hummed again, although that time it was to indicate he was thinking. he seemed to not notice you were starting to get annoyed (or maybe he did, he was just ignoring it) as he ran his eyes up and down your figure. "hmm… someone like you who can exorcise curses easily shouldn't be a servant though. don't you want to be a sorcerer?"

sorcerer. that was the first time since the whole ordeal happened that someone asked you for what you wanted, instead of just deciding for you.

you formed your lips into a slight smile, eyes gleaming with sadness. don’t you want to be a sorcerer?

“i will be sold off to your clan, what i want doesn’t matter.”

he pressed his face closer to yours, your noses almost touching. the boy obviously doesn’t respect personal space, so you did both yourselves a favor and stepped backward. “but do you?” he repeated.

you sighed, lower lips slightly jutting out to form a pout, irritation slowly getting replaced with forlornness. “...i do...” you whisper, suddenly feeling too vulnerable in front of the gojo child.

his face instantly lit up upon hearing your answer, lips forming into a grin and feet taking one step behind. “i knew it! your family’s meeting with the elders there, right?” his voice became too cheerful for your liking as he pointed to where your parents currently were.

“how do you know that?”

gojo didn’t answer your question, he just placed both of his hands on your shoulder as he gave you an even wider grin, “then leave it to me!” he enthusiastically exclaimed before dashing off and uncremoniously opening the meeting room’s shoji as he shouted something you couldn’t make out.

you were glued to your spot, eyes wide and frozen over what the boy had just done.

you would later find out that the bastard talked (more like commanded and blackmailed) to the elders into making you his courtier (like he’s some royal king) and his own personal assistant. you would also later find out that apparently, he’s the most important member of their clan which is why those people, despite being decades older than him, caved into his desire although they were obviously against it.

from that day, you had to stick by gojo’s side and wait for whatever he commands even though you were younger and far less experienced than him.

but instead of being sent for errands or asked for help, all you received were some orders on “be my opponent for this game!” or “be my sparring partner” and “join me in eating!” or “taste this, it’s good!” as he shoved a spoonful of whatever sweet food he was eating into your mouth.

he was never rude or cruel to you like he sometimes was to his real maids. and he treated you more like a friend than what your role really was.

it got worse (or better?) when you had to transfer to his elementary school and the two of you started being schoolmates. gojo naturally got along with everyone, but he didn’t have anyone he would consider his permanent friend or best friend.

(that’s because he had you) and that’s where you come in. during the 20-minute recess, he would go to your classroom and drag you outside into one of the benches to eat both of your snacks together. sometimes he tells you what activities he planned on doing with you when classes end, and sometimes the two of you just ate in peace (it still surprises you when he shuts his mouth) while enjoying the breeze and the fallen sakura petals swaying in the wind.

by the fifth grade of elementary school, you somehow stopped being his courtier and turned into a full-time friend he pestered 24/7 (not like he wasn’t doing that before). you think it had something to do with him going to middle school and being in a whole different institution as you, so he made sure the driver picked him up first during dismissal before you even though yours was a few minutes earlier than him in order to ride home with you in the car.

it didn’t help that your quarters in the gojo compound was right next to his (again, demanded by him) so oftentimes, he sneaked into your room and woke you up for a convenience store ice cream run as if the compound didn’t have a whole fridge of that dessert in much higher quality. you were always irritable whenever you got woken up in the middle of the night, and though gojo was still technically someone you served, he was not exempted from your attitude which he would always brush off.

you never admitted it, but you were happy he was always there to keep you company even if at first it was in the guise of being his assistant. you would also never admit it, but you felt lonely when he left you in elementary school while he was in middle school. most especially when he had to live at tokyo jujutsu high while you were in middle school and still living at the compound.

you initially planned to leave the estate and find somewhere else to live in despite being underage when he enrolled in jujutsu tech, because he wasn’t there for you to “serve” anymore. but of course, gojo being gojo, told you to live with him in his dorm instead if you so badly wanted to be with him.

of course you didn’t agree. tokyo was way too far from where you were studying in kyoto for a regular commute. besides, the school does not allow that. neither did the gojo elders (but he didn’t really care about that).

“i’ll be off then!” he cheerfully stated as the boarding announcement reverberated through the airport. you nodded, rummaging through your small sling bag before handing him a black rectangle box. he stared at it for a second before excitedly grabbing it from you and inspecting the packaging.

“it’s my farewell gift,” you explained. your voice was slightly softer than usual. whether it was because he was about to go or because you feel nervous he’s not going to like the gift, you weren’t sure.

“i can’t believe you got me a gift! i’ll open it now, okay?”

your eyes widened, “no! at least wait until—” you stopped when you saw him take the item out of the box and immediately wore it over his eyes, “...you get to the plane…” you continued silently.

he happily hummed, looking around the surroundings with the round sunglasses now perched on his ears. you thought it looked better on him than you imagined.

grinning, he asked, “this is really nice. but why did you decide to give me a sun—”

“you’ll be late, gojo. you really should get going now.” you cut him off, knowing the conversation would turn longer if you entertained the question.

he pouted, huffing as he closed the box and placed it on the pocket of his khaki shorts, “fine. but i’ll call you as soon as i arrive and you'll tell me the details!”

you gave him a teasing smile as you waved him goodbye, watching gojo disappear into the gates still giving you a pout to indicate he was sulking.

he never removed the sunglasses.

and now you’re finally in high school together.

gojo had to deal with the 2-year torture and deprivation of not seeing you every day so he was really delighted when you told him over the phone that you were choosing tokyo jujutsu high instead of kyoto for high school, even though the latter was nearer in the estate. and when you finally met suguru and shoko who he always talked about, he was ecstatic.

safe to say, in every part of gojo’s life, you were there.

and he doesn’t really care what the two of you become in the future, he just wants you, his friend for a decade, to still be with him just like you are right now.

“i’m back! did you miss me?”

you stopped blowing on your late-night freshly made cup ramen, turning around to see a six-foot man standing behind you.

“gojo! how was the mission?”

the man groans before removing his sunglasses and plopping down beside you, resting his head on the table and mindlessly looking at the moisture forming around your noodles. “meh. same old, same old.”

you’re at the school’s dining hall after waking up hungry at 12:00 a.m. luckily, the pantry had lots of food to choose from but you were specifically craving some spicy seafood ramen.

“was it a special grade again?” you asked, humming in delight when the tiniest hint of shrimp touched your taste buds.

he watched you happily close your eyes, wondering how you could eat something so heavy in the middle of the night. “yep, nothing special. just a flick of my finger then bam! it’s gone.”

you chuckled, “okay, weirdo.”

“and you? how was your day?”

you stopped shoving food in your mouth for a moment, thinking back to your day. “trained with nanami-senpai and ijichi, apart from that nothing much really happened.”

“mhmm, sounds boring.”

you finally looked at him, albeit to give him a glare. “it was fun!” you exclaim too defensively.

he smirks, happy he got your attention. “as fun as when we spar?”

you huffed before going back to eating your food, “it’s not exactly fun getting tossed around 98% of the time. at least with both of them i actually have a chance to win.”

the white-haired teen's smirk widens, “yeah, that’s because they’re weak, ijichi especially.”

you rolled your eyes, taking offense to his words. “you’re being rude,” you sipped on your tea, “besides, ijichi isn’t really planning on becoming a sorcerer. he just wants to get some training and experience to be a window.”

you couldn’t see it since you were too focused on your half-eaten cup noodles, but your friend’s eyebrows rose as he tilts his glasses down his nose. “hmm? and why do you know that? you been spendin’ time with him?”

you rolled your eyes again, briefly thinking how gojo’s extremely smart but can be really dumb sometimes. “i mean he’s my only classmate, of course i’m spending time with him.”

gojo ignored the little pang he felt in his chest, opting to raise his head instead and grab your yunomi to take a sip on it. his face instantly contorts. “blegh! your drink sucks. wanna go get ice cream?”

“sure. there’s tons of flavors in the fridge.”

he whines like the manchild that he is, slowly standing up and putting his sunglasses on. “don’t want those, they’re old.”

you look at him blankly as you tilt your head to the side. he thinks you look cute. “i don’t think they’re expired though?”

he paid no mind to your statement as he drags you up by the arm to begin walking towards the door, “just come with me! it’ll be for old time’s sake!”

“old time's sake? are we going to 7-eleven again? we just went there last night!” you groaned, but still came with him.

gojo called your name, each hand holding two different types of ice cream. “what do you think i should buy?”

you stared at him before closing your side of the ice cream freezer, “just buy them all. you always come back for another one anyways.”

“but they’re gonna melt!”

“gojo, it’s winter. it’s literally three degrees outside. they’re not gonna melt. we shouldn’t be eating ice cream in this weather in the first place.”

he shrugs, putting the four ice creams in the handbasket. “meh. i’m warm with my infinity.”

“well i’m cold.”

he flashes you a toothy smile. “i’ll just keep you warm then! i’ll hug you while eating ice cream.”

you scrunch your face, seemingly disgusted by the idea. “gross. i don’t want to get your cooties. can’t you just expand your infinity so it reaches me?”

he shakes his head, “nope, tried that yesterday. didn’t work, remember?”

“maybe it’s going to work now.”

he dejectedly pouts, “aww come on. you don’t want my hugs?”

you throw him the ice cream of your choice and he catches it automatically. “no, thank you,” you answer before turning your back to him and walking away, “i’m going to get some bread! you like chigiri pan, right?”

you left without waiting for his reply as you know it’s right anyway. years of friendship really do wonders, gojo thinks.

the both of you went into the convenience store’s parking lot to eat even though it’s freezing outside and there’s plenty of empty tables inside the store (what with how late it is). you’re sitting on the elevated ground while gojo chose to sit on the parking lot bump in front of you. you’re shivering, considering how the inconsiderate prick did not even let you dress in warm clothes earlier—you’re just wearing your hoodie. you suddenly miss the hot tea you were drinking earlier.

“do we really have to eat outside? i’m freezing,” you ask, licking your suika bar in the process. you’re pretty sure the two of you look like high school delinquents eating ice cream in the middle of winter to passersby, when in fact the two of you have excellent moral records in your old schools.

the man in front of you takes a bite on his yukimi daifuku, closing his eyes in delight over the flavor before responding, “it’s not snowing.”

“doesn’t mean it’s not cold! it doesn’t help that i’m eating something cold either.”

he shoves the whole mochi ice cream in his mouth as he thinks. then all of a sudden, you feel warm. the cold breeze constantly hitting your face was replaced with a hot fan of breath, and the empty feeling around your body was replaced with something hard.

gojo had moved right next to you and had his right arm wrapped around your shoulder. your bodies now pressed together.

your eyes widen upon realizing the situation, blinking repeatedly before facing him.

“gojo!” you exclaim, eyes glinting with excitement. the man hangs onto your words, silently anticipating what you would say next. “you can expand your infinity now!”

he internally sulks, feeling a tad disappointed that that was what you noticed.

even so, he tries giving you a grin as he forces his voice to appear cheerful, “i do! and i did it for you! aren’t you grateful to me, the mighty gojo satoru?”

you scoffed, looking at him smugly as you bantered. “i think you should be grateful to me, i’m the reason why after all.”

he clicks his tongue in response before pulling you closer and opening his second ice cream, häagen-dazs. you do the same, although this time you were enjoying your watermelon popsicle now that everything was warmer inside gojo’s (and yours’) infinity.

you’re trying to act cool and nonchalant, but deep inside your heart is thrumming against your chest and you feel your palms starting to get sweaty. you could only hope he doesn’t feel nor hear it, especially with how little the distance is between the two of you and how you’re literally enclosed in a bubble-like environment with him.

and he doesn't. the man next to you is too focused on indulging in the warmth you're providing, as well as on regulating his own heart that's beating way too fast for his liking.

he's always been really touchy with you (with anyone, actually) and has been since you were kids. but this is the first time he's gotten this close to you and felt your skin in two years after learning how to involuntarily activate his infinity.

he's quite sure this is also the first time he had to turn it off, and it was all to make you warm, he thinks.

"you're going off to college, huh? must be nice."

the two of you are eating lunch at mcdonald's, celebrating gojo's graduation from jujutsu tech.

he dips his plain fry in his sundae and puts it in front of your face. you eat it.

"eh, i'll be with normal people doing normal things. it won't be fun."

you take a bite out of your own teriyaki burger, chewing and swallowing before answering, "i mean, did you really have to choose religious culture as your bachelor? i know you're planning on teaching at the school afterward but that's not really like you."

he mindlessly plays with his oreo mcflurry, scooping some out but never putting it in his mouth. "what would you rather i take then?"

you snatch the spoon out from his hands and he protests with a hey! as you eat the dessert. "i don't know, environmental science or something? you've always been so passionate and concerned about global warming since elementary school."

gojo takes the plastic spoon out of your hand, grumbling how climate change is a serious problem and humans need to stop polluting the earth. he internally smiles as he remembers how he used to babble about the topic every time the both of you are on the car ride home even though it seemed like you didn't really listen. (now he knows you did).

"it's a little sad though," you start again, "we just got to high school together and now you would be leaving again."

he tilts his sunglasses down and waved his eyebrows at you teasingly, "oh? what's this? you don't wanna be away from me?"

you scoff, "as if. i've gotten sick of you after all these years. it's about time, right?" you proudly say, but there's a glint of sadness in your eyes gojo's all too familiar with. it's the same gleam he saw when he first asked whether you wanted to be a sorcerer, and it's the same gleam he saw when he had to leave you for middle school, high school, and now, college.

"hmm… i don't wanna be away from you though," he whispers.

you didn't hear what he said, so you leaned closer, "what?"

he looks at you dead in the eye, ocean orbs full of seriousness unlike anything you've seen before. you feel like he's staring straight into your soul.

"i wanna be with you. live with me."

"...is that an order?"

you flinch as you feel something cold touch your forehead. you glared at the man currently wearing a wide grin and standing in front of you as he hands you a bottled tea. "what's gotten you so quiet?" gojo asks.

you take the drink from him, uncapping its cap and taking a sip from it. "nothing~" you gleefully respond before turning back to the report on your laptop.

he narrows his eyes, still standing in front of your face. "you were thinking of me, weren't you?"

"don't flatter yourself, why would i?"

"because you missed your lovely boyfriend! what else?" he confidently exclaims before plopping down beside you on the couch and kissing your cheek.

scrunching your nose, you retort as you feel him place his chin on your shoulder, "you've been away for one minute."

"mhmm. so what were you thinking about?"

"i told you it's nothing."

you feel him pout. "aw come on! you can tell me anything! is it about that person from the business department hitting on you? i'll kick their ass!"

you rolled your eyes. "no. shoving your tongue down my throat right in front of them really helped." you feel your face heat up at the memory, still feeling sorry for the person that became your lover's object of hatred.

you hear him huff, his hot breath reaching your ear. "of course, had to show who you've belonged to for fourteen years."

that made you snap your attention to him, your face turning which caused him to move away. you raised your left eyebrow, "fourteen years? it's only been four years, you ass."

he condescendingly nods, "yep. four years since you confessed and fourteen years since you fell in love with me."

"more like four years since you got rejected after asking me to live with you and fourteen years since you fell in love with me at first sight."

he gives you a pout as you give him a smirk and continue talking, "so much so that you asked your elders for some way to be with me 24/7."

he lets out a dramatic sigh of defeat. he'll never really beat you on your banters, would he?

you turn your head back to your laptop. "no, go away. you're disturbing me."

still pouting, he leans in and looks at what you've been so busy doing. "it's an essay about urban ecology, right? i can help you later, just give your baby his kisses now."

he didn't wait for you to respond as he forcefully closes the laptop on your lap. he heard you gasp and knew you were about to scold him when he suddenly teleported and pinned you onto your bed.

his hands immediately flew to your waist as he started tickling you while kissing you all over. you started laughing uncontrollably, as shouts of gojo satoru! reverberates over the room.

he continued assaulting your neck and face with his lips until you eventually started fighting back and tried to put your hands on his hips to do the same.

who would've thought? that the ability and job you considered as a curse (figuratively) fourteen years ago would lead you to the man who would become your master, friend, best friend, and eventually, the only man you would ever love. the only man who has loved you and owned your heart for as long as you could both remember.
