She flinched and showed herself in front of the man. "H.. Hi.."
A young lady in black observes the Stellaron Hunter from afar, holding an umbrella over her head to cover the sun from her eyes. She stops the temptation of going over to him, but stops herself from doing so.

*The man noticed the person out of the corner of his eye, he glared at her for a moment before turning around to face her.*
"Who are you?" *Blade asked, voice emotionless.*

"You peak my interest, young man.." She eyes the blonde carefully. Finally, the young lady walls out of her hiding spot, approaching Aventurine.
She holds the umbrella over the both of them, blocking the intense light of the Golden Hour. With the other gloved hand, she tucks a strand of hair behind the young man's ear.
"I can tell.. Self-destructive habits.. A yearning for death and those who have passed.." She whispers, looking at his Avgin eyes. "Though, that's just my guess."
"Answer me young one, do you seek death?" The woman boldly asks. A shadow no longer covers her eyes, thus allowing Aventurine to take a close look at her obsidian eyes, adorned with a red butterfly pupil.
Clad in black, an umbrella in hand. A young lady covers her head from the light that dares to reveal her eyes. A red butterfly sits on his shoulder as he hides behind a corner to avoid being seen. She stays quiet, hoping that the gambler doesn't notice her presence.

((hi sorry to bother, i do tuis wen im bored. the 2.1 quest was something i wanna distract myself.. huh7))
*Aventurine narrows his eyes, spinning around on his heels to glance behind him.* *He can swear he heard something— a noise akin to a ghostly breeze brushing through a field, a goddess’ enchanted breaths.*
*But it can’t be. The weather in Penacony’s Dreamscapes is always ideal, not too warm and devoid of chill, typically untouched by wind.*
*There is no other way to describe what he’d heard.*
*Someone must be following him.*
“Hello there, friend~” *The blonde calls out softly, gaze following the horizon in search of anything out of place in Golden Hour.* “You can drop the act… I’m no threat, and I know you’re there.”
*At least, Aventurine hopes. If he’s truly alone, he’s making a fool out of himself by trying to summon somebody who had never existed outside his own imagination.*
*But he can’t be wrong… he shouldn’t be. He never makes bets he isn’t sure he’ll win… and he always wins, after all.*
“And what exactly is so peculiar about me that you’ve followed me for all this time, hm?”
*The gambler smirks, scanning the buildings closest to him as he awaits the appearance of his supposed stalker.*
“I won’t harm you… unless you provoke me, that is~ I can’t promise anything then…”
(Ooc: Hello! Ach don’t apologize, it’s not a bother at all!
I’ve visited your blog and oh my gosh I’m in love with both the aesthetic and the concept of your oc!
I completely understand omg… the end of 2.1 was certainly a rough one among others.
I hope you’re well! ~ Mod Minie)

"Perhaps I'll allow you to ask more questions the next time we have a chat like this. Though, it depends on my mood, and I am quite picky with my location and how dim the lighting should be."
The woman looks out of the window, moon still in full shape and up in the sky, it's light shining in the room. "You're probably tired. Let us meet again." She smiles, opening the window and jumping out of it. The woman in black disappears, a sea of red butterflies scattering into the night.
A Guild member approached Veritas and handed him a letter, saying that someone wanted to give it to him. Intrigued, the doctor took the black letter, looking at the red wax seal that has a teacup and small spoon as its symbol.
Once alone, he opened the letter to read it's contents written in red ink.
To the young man who helped me out before,
I hope fortune follows you these past few days, and I thank you for the help. I promised you that I were to return this favor, though I do not know what will you request me for.
And so, I want to have a chat with you. You have the free will to refuse this invitation, as I am not cruel enough to force you to accept this invitation. Simply discord this letter if you do not want to go, and I shall know not to bother you.
Otherwise, meet me where me last met, the entrance of this Guild of yours to be precise. Come here after the sun has set, and please do bring a slice, or perhaps three, of cake with you. Any flavor may do as long as it is sweet.
May luck's grace smile and shine down upon you.
The writer of the letter didn't state their name at the right bottom of the letter, but it seems that the scholar knew who wrote this elegantly written letter.
- @theweeping-w1tch
*At start, Veritas expected the letter to be just another confession from his fans, but it soon doesn't seem so. That quickly gets his interest. He's immediately reminded of the mysterious woman, who got lost in the Guild some time ago. He was already expecting her.*
*He has nothing to request. He believes that everything should be achieved by hard work, not someone else's help, but that doesn't mean he would reject a polite invitation. Maybe he can even gain some information. Knowledge is all he's interested in, really. He already thought about it and realized the woman meant no harm, at least the last time. He couldn't help but still be a little wary. There was something strange about her and especially the butterflies.*
*Veritas still has time to buy a cake. He chooses one with dark chocolate flavor and cherry filling and walks back to the Guild. He arrives precisely with the setting sun.*

She flinched, breath stuck to her throat the moment Veritas asked about the church. She covers her mouth as she didn't think the would manage to hear her words. As she was about to reply, she froze when the scholar asks further, causing her to he silent for a solid five minutes.
Then, the woman stands up, speaking.
"It's all in the past. Best if you- no, we don't indulge in such previous affairs."
She sighs, packing her things. "I enjoyed the chat, young man. In fact, I would love to have another tea party again." She carries the small box, her two red butterflies resting on top of it.
"But here's something you have to know.. Even if you have good intentions, forbidden knowledge should be kept away from the likes of your men and kind. Curiosity kills. If I were to tell more, you'll dive deep into it and suffer the consequences just like they did.."
A Guild member approached Veritas and handed him a letter, saying that someone wanted to give it to him. Intrigued, the doctor took the black letter, looking at the red wax seal that has a teacup and small spoon as its symbol.

"It's alright, I dislike making others uncomfortable." She softly replied, drinking her tea her mood has gone down a bit, as she no longer smiles like earlier.
The woman sighs, earing Veritas ramble on about how people should be educated when they're idiotic enough to use knowledge for malicious intent.
"Perhaps so.. Maybe if the Church didn't have their hands in such knowledge, perhaps the rest, I included weren't turned into monsters.." She quietly murmured to herself, tone quite grave.
"Oh, it's nothing. Such knowledge is off-limits to people like you. I'll be telling to many things if I let my mouth loose. I get you have good intentions with knowledge, but young man.. It's best not to know all.."
She pours the rest of her tea in her cup and drinks it all, sighing deeply once again. "Perhaps I'm saying too much.."
A Guild member approached Veritas and handed him a letter, saying that someone wanted to give it to him. Intrigued, the doctor took the black letter, looking at the red wax seal that has a teacup and small spoon as its symbol.

"Hm? Ah, I'm talking about my friends. Yes, it does revolve around your appearance, but it's just a guess whether they'll like you or not. We are all picky with people."
When Veritas looked away, she takes it as a sign to look away, noticing the mans discomfort.
"A nice goal you have." She pours the remaining tea in her cup, eating the rest of the chocolate cake. "Now that you've said it.." She stares at the surface of the tea, mumbling something to herself. "Forbidden knowledge in the hands of the the right person.. ..does have a point.."
"Young man, if-" The woman stops herself. "Nevermind, I would be revealing too much."

"Young man, do not touch them.." The woman makes sure Aventurine doesn't touch the incests that want to go near him, using her free hand to push them away from him. Surprisingly, she allows Aventurine to kiss her knuckles, having no subtle reactions.
"Rin.." She spoke. "That is my name.." There was a moment of silence that followed by, before she clears her throat. "I am giving you the privilege to know my name, but promise me that you shall not share it to others." Rin told him softly.
As Aventurine walks around, someone follows him from the dark shadows, hiding in the dark as they watch the blonde. Clad in black, they blend with the shadows, holding an umbrella to shade themselves from any intense light wanting to touch their face.
It's like they're interesting in the gambler, to the point they're stalking him.

((hi i hope you dont mind an oc rp im quite bored))
aventurine - despite his luxurious, rich-boy appearance - was skilled in combat. throughout his traumatizing period of his childhood, the man taught himself to be alert at all costs, and the only time he'd allow his guard down was when he stirred himself awake from his bed.
wandering through the streets of this dreamscape, he immediately caught onto the suspect, yet disguised his awareness into obliviousness. he hummed, tossing a few jewels and credits here and there to local civilians, before finding his way into an alleyway - where he and his guest would unite.
"you are simply like a stray, wandering puppy, or perhaps a stray cat," he calls out in his usual sultry voice, "traveling through these streets with some sort of interest in mind."
his back remained turned, flipping his signature, golden coin in his hand before skillfully traversing it through his fingers.

"I'm surprised you noticed me.."
Stepping out of the shadows was a lady clad in black, with some red accessories. She holds an umbrella to shield herself from the light, making herself almost hard to see. A shadow is cast over her eyes.
"You.. merely caught my interest, young man."
Three butterflies accompany her, though, she stops these incests from approaching the blonde, as if making sure they don't touch him.

"That is a good one." She giggles. "Relying on others all the time does not give an individual the proper need for growth. Acquiring and learning on your own has its own benefits and strengthens your independence. After all, each person has their own goals, morals, and virtues they follow."
"I have to admit, this conversation is soothing my mind. It has been a long time since I've had a nice and wonderful chat with someone like you."
Unlike her usual aloof composure, a smile is curved on her red lips, eating half of the chocolate cake as she enjoys the company of Ratio.
"Oh, no no, young man. You didn't offend me in any way. I'll also say the same to you, be nice to me, I would surely be generous to you."
The woman looks up to take a nice look at Veritas' face, and she chuckles softly. Due to her skin being pale, almost porcelain or even white, it's easy to notice the blush on her cheeks. "Ah, the others would definitely like you." The lady in black hums to herself, eating the rest of her cake.
"Knowledge, hm.. I mean, you do look like someone who excells in academics, I wouldn't be surprised. It's not bad to learn nee things once in a while, but personally, one should also follow.. What's that called? Right- 'Ignorance is bliss'. Some shouldn't get their hands on forbidden knowledge, else they'll use it for their own benefit, as selfishness and sin are naturally born in the heart of a human. No one, not even a god can get rid of it. How unfortunate.."
Unknown to her, Veritas is no fond of ignorance.

"I have a feeling you want something in return, but if you say so, I won't force." She hums, eating the last remains of her lemon cake before eating the slice of the chocolate and cherry cake Veritas got earlier.
"It is just for me, whenever someone helps me, I want to return the favor out of kindness and repayment. I feel guilty when.. I don't do something in return.. But if one insists they are of no need for a favor in return, it's rude to force them to."
The woman then pours more tea into her cup. "By the way you're looking at me, you are like the rest.. Curios of me, wary of my intentions.." She then eyes Veritas and smiles at him, lips only showing her emotions as her eyes are covered by the shadow. Her butterfly flaps its wings, landing on her shoulder. Suddenly, another one appears, landing on the rim of her cup, despite there only being one butterfly to begin with.
"Though, you harbor good intentions. I like that." Her head then tilts down at the cake. "You got a cake just like what I had said in the letter, and comfortably welcomed me to your office."
"Hm, I am starting to like you. Be lucky, as I rarely like people your age. Not a fan of the older and mature types as it is hard to chat with the likes of them. I am tempted to tell who I am to you. However, in order for that to happen, we should have a few more tea parties." She hums, eating the chocolate cake.

She smiles, seemingly happy Veritas didn't view her as a threat and said that she was no threat the day they met.
"I think it's safe to tell you that I hate fire, and that I am a fond of tea parties as much as I love sweets." The woman happily hums, eating her cake.

"Yes indeed.. I am no fond of intense light as I'm comfortable with something like this, the moonlight tolerable enough." She pours some tea on her cup, and drinks it.
"What I can only tell is that I simply got lost. I entered this Guild because I got intrigued with its design, then I couldn't find a way out due to the hallways looking the same." Like before, she doesn't state her identity.

She nods, not forcing the man to do things outside of his comfort. She takes the cake that Veritas ordered and places it down alongside her cake.
Taking the tea pot, she pours the warm tea unto one of her cups and offered it to the scholar. "Quite sweet, but it relaxes ones body."
She keeps one of the silver spoons, and uses the other to eat her lemon cake. "Shame you don't want to join me to eat, but I'm fine with that as long as we can chat."
She takes a brief glance at the man. "I can tell there's something on your mind. Feel free to speak up if you wish to."

The woman pays no mind to the desk full of papers and sits down, placing the small box on the table and opens it to bring out a slice of lemon cake, a black tea pot with small red butterfly designs, and two tea cups with saucers. The cups too were black with the same red butterfly design to match the pot. It was only her two spoons that was silver, standing out.
"Won't you be joining me, or you will need to do something first?" She asks, looking up at Veritas. "I find it rude to eat first."

The lady nods at the suggestion. "Yes, your office is fine. As long as it's not too bright.. I dislike intense light."
She carries her umbrella and the small box with her, walking up to Veritas that way the two are shoulder to shoulder. Her footsteps are light, barely making noise. Even with how close this woman was to the scholar, Veritas couldn't see her eyes due to the shadow covering the upper portion of her face.
"Shall we go then? Do not worry, I will follow you."
