How Dammon, Zevlor, and Rolan (or any other tieflings you'd like to add) would handle a human friend for SO asking about their fiendish traits (horns, tails, eyes, claws). They're hoping for a closer look or even maybe to touch. They've never met or been near a tiefling before. They've of course very polite and even a bit bashful, not wanting to make them uncomfortable. Feel free to throw some nsfw if you want. 💙

By the end of the night you'll be very familiar with tiefling anatomy-

Things go much slower with Zevlor

He's happy to let you feel over his horns and ears, or look into his eyes even if it was a little embarrassing

You'll even be able to feel his tail on occasion, even if you aren't dating him

It's only once the two of you are together and you're reading one of his books on tieflings that you ask if he really has ridges and bumps all over his body

He stumbles over his words a little bit before confirming that they do have them on their bodies, but not quite covering every bit

I feel like you wouldn't see much of Zevlors skin until you two have sex for the first time

Afterwards, while the two of you are lounging in your bed with your bodies pleasantly aching

That's when you can run your fingers over his chest and shoulders to see how they feel

You can get a good feel of Rolans tail when he's tired because it's likely he's already wrapped it around you

I can just see him lying you down on his bed as he pushes into you, taking your hands in his and running them over the ridges on his chest

While Abby doesn't require human flesh as his only food source, he can eat chunks of it to repair rotting or damaged tissue. He can also swap out parts that are no longer useful with fresh ones which is a major factor to how successful his business is since changing a few features makes him a completely new person. He has a deep freezer in his apartment where he keeps his "accessories" until they expire.

When it comes to what he likes in a Darling not even Abby knows. He's very easily distracted by things and an encounter with him trying to cut out a part of you he likes can instantly switch to yout first date of many just by him seeing you like that peeks his interest as well.

"Hey, You! Cute eyes you got... Mind if I borrow them?.... Oh! What are you listening to?... I love this band! I think.... Maybe the old me did. Let's listening to more songs together and find out!"

Since you would probably like to keep all your limbs, Abby steals physical objects that belong to you to feel closer to you. He would insist on something like matching tattoos or piercings since if you can't share the same flesh - you can at least have the same branding. Do not leave any jewelry or clothing that may fit him unattended.

Any body part that was at one tethered to him will still be usable even if it's separate from him as long as it's functional. There's a reason he always knows what you're thinking- he's got eyes and ears everywhere. Please don't throw them out if you happen to find any. :(

You'll almost never meet him when he isn't "Abby". When he doesn't care about his appearance or how bad the state of his decay is and just slaps on a hoodie and a face mask to get around. It's how he keeps watch on you without use of his spare eyes and sorta feels like how some people without their makeup.

Keeping this in mind, I can see Axel fooling his obsession easily as he picks people off.

Considering this is technically a "Valentine's Day" film and the last line Axel says in the movie... He'd see his obsession as his valentine.

He wants you as his partner... and he won't let anyone else change his mind.

Axel is pretty good at playing the double role, pretending to be a victim to win over his obsession's sympathy.

Meanwhile, he's a murderer who wants to kill anyone who gets too close to you.

Axel isn't afraid to get messy and obviously tends to use deception.

His whole thing is putting human hearts in chocolate boxes.

I'm not surprised he'd get himself bloody and gruesome when it comes to rivals.

He tends to use his pickaxe, but he's shown to use other methods.

Axel definitely tries to present himself as a caring boyfriend to you.

He's around you often, usually quite clingy as he nuzzles into your hair.

Axel wants to play his role well, you don't need to suspect a thing.

He'd be one to give you heart boxes of chocolates with a smile, gently kissing your skin as he continues to pretend.

Meanwhile he's also the one sending you human hearts with their boxes covered in blood, right after one of your close friends goes missing.

While Axel tends to play roles and pretend... the one thing that isn't fake is his obsession towards you.

He stalks you around when alone.

He often whispers your name with delusional glee as he tears the heart out of someone.

Axel sees himself as your only love.

He should be your only love.

You're the only one for him, but more importantly, he's the only one for you.

Axel is possessive, as shown with how he is against T.J.

He tends to get into fights and be violent if someone else takes interest in you.

In your case, they may quickly be found dead due to Axel feeling threatened.

Axel will do anything to preserve the relationship between you.

That mostly includes getting rid of rivals and spoiling you the best he can.

When you encounter "Harry Warden", you won't know it's him for a long time.

Although it's weird the miner spares you in particular.

Being offered human hearts only works in Axel's favor.

That rival is gone and he drives you even closer to him.

The notes with the hearts are often twisted declarations of love and murder towards you.

Meanwhile Axel's notes are soft and affectionate when he gives you chocolate.

In terms of if he'd kidnap you?

I can think of two answers.

The first one is... yes.

I can see Axel capturing you as Harry Warden in order to keep you somewhere more isolated.

Then he'll never have to share you, he'll never have to be jealous, and you'll be his.

You'd be tied up and in an abandoned building or maybe even deep in the mines temporarily, all while Axel sits in front of you with a smile.

You plead with him to let you go, but he merely shakes his head.

Why would he let his beloved valentine go?

You two are meant to be.

There's no way he'd let you go.

While you're tied up, bound, and crying... Axel merely cups your face and coos.

He'd kiss your face and lips, even if he was covered in dirt and blood.

You'd be all his... all his to hold... no one to share with.

No one will ever find you again.

Not without dying, that is.

The other option is no, he'd kill you instead.

Both options are driven by the same emotion, jealousy.

However, the second one is the most extreme.

He'd choose such an option if he felt he couldn't keep you to himself.

If you broke up with him, rejected him, or went to someone else for help?

Axel would feel the only way to keep you as his would be to take your heart.

Axel feels, no, knows he's the only one who deserves your heart.

Which means...

He'll have it even if he has to tear it out of your chest.

"OH!" He collapsed to the ground, catching the attention of a few passing monks. "OH THE HUMANITY! I THINK I MAY HAVE.." Johnny winked at you before grasping his side. "PULLED A HAMMY! THIS.. THIS IS IT FOR ME.. OH IF ONLY SOMEONE WOULD HELP ME." He reached out his hand for dramatic effect as people surrounded him.

The training drill was swiftly cancelled for the day.

After dinner that night, you found yourself at 'injured' Johnny's door.

"Knock knock." You made your presence known as you slid open the sliding door. "Feeling better after pulling that hammy?" Johnny sat up with ease, meeting your gaze as you leaned against the partition. "Learned that in Hollywood?"

"Who said I can't act, huh?" He grinned, pretending to shove dust off his sleeves. "More importantly, are you feeling better?"

Part two of this analysis aka Edwin, Charles and asexuality and why I personally like hcing Charles under the ace umbrella rather than Edwin.

Previous part was about why I don't see Edwin as ace and this one is about why I can see Charles as being on ace/ace spectrum.

So, you might be thinking, what the hell is he talking about? Charles clearly flirts with Crystal from the start and is attracted to her!

And to that, I say, yes....and no. He flirts with her from the start, absolutely! I'd even say he likes her immediately and think she is pretty. But given we aren't in his head, we can't really know exactly what he thinks. His reaction certainly isn't as extreme as the one Edwin has to the Cat King, which clearly showed instant sexual attraction.

So, the way I see it, I think he likes Crystal and very quickly develops a crush on her. But those are romantic feelings, not sexual ones. And we all know how intense Charles' feelings are, especially when it comes to devoting himself to someone.

"He literally agrees about being a nice addition to her body count! And he seems to know ghosts and human can have sex!" Yeah. Which is why A) I hc him as demisexual aka only feeling sexual attraction when he already has feelings for someone and B) as an ace person myself, believe me when I say that researching sex as a concept by an ace person is not uncommon. It's interesting part of human experience, whenever you wish that for yourself or not.

But I digress. Back to my point and that is, when does Charles seem to kiss (and if you believe they slept together after that one scene)? When one or both of them are in need of comfort.

We know Charles is physically affectionate person in general, so while I understand the whole thing was muddled with him and Crystal, I do find it odd he never kissed her due to being excited, or relieved. It would be so very in character for him and yet??? We see them kiss, if I remember correctly, after Charles has his breakdown over not being able to stop anything or after the Devlin's house? I mixed up those two in my head but regardless-it's a form of comfort. You know how a lot of ace people who like sex describe why they like it? Because it makes them feel closer to their partner, because yes, the sex itself is enjoyable, but there is no need for it, no attraction to spur it on. But when you care about the person, you want to make them feel good and you want to feel closer to them.

So for Charles, who constantly craves positive validation, especially through touch? I feel like he'd be either sex positive ace or as I mentioned earlier, demisexual. He doesn't seem spurred by it by attraction.

Hell, after Crystal has a nightmare, what is his first instinct? To kiss her. Because he feels helpless with how to help her other than get her closer to him! But , no offense to Crystal, I find it a bit difficult to believe Charles looked at her in that moment, traumatized by the nightmare and thought "god you look so hot right now I have to kiss you".

And again, we see this repeated when Crystal is about to leave for London and she kisses him goodbye. They never kiss as a consequence of something happy. Which yes, can definitely be contributed to the general narrative of that relationship likely being there as more of a comfort but still.

When we talk about headcanon sphere, because I don't pretend like the writers planned on making Charles ace coded, I think it would make sense.

Also why he doesn't clock Edwin's meeting with the Cat King for what they are! He is suspicious, we could even say he is jealous, but up until Edwin doesn't bring up his feelings for Monty, Charles doesn't connect the two. Which I find odd. Charles doesn't seem surprised that Edwin is gay, so how did he not make a connection about the Cat King until that moment?

Unless he usually connects sex with romantic feelings! Of course, he knows other people sometimes don't but surely not Edwin? Surely Edwin would think like Charles and want to love someone before feeling any sort of attraction? Right? Right??

Wrong. You sir, give strong demi vibes.

No but in all seriousness, I feel like Charles being demi/ace doesn't have a lot of uncomfortable implications that Edwin does? And it doesn't play into the stereotypes either. Why not hc someone flirty and easygoing as ace for a change?

Not to mention that he can be flippant around sex because that's what's expected. We know Charles is not above putting up a front if it makes it easier for everyone around him. To feel accepted.

•I think that yautja are not monogamous, as their society is very focused on breeding/producing offspring. However, I do feel that pair bonding/developing affections for one particular partner isn't uncommon, and two yautja will settle down, especially as they get older.

•Because their society is so focused on breeding, I feel same-sex relationships can get quite a variety of reactions. Especially taking into account clan traditions, some being more lenient, and others not so much. I feel that most yautja in same-sex relationships will try to keep it quiet, because depending on the reactions (not caring as long as offspring are made/ if you're a high enough rank and have lots of kids already, to having it be outright looked down upon and risking being ostracized/exiled).

Courting

•Males will do a lot of posturing. Flexing, displays of strength, fighting other males to prove themselves to females.

•I also like the idea of them being somewhat like peacocks and dressing up to catch a potential mates' attention.

•While I feel like males are more active in trying to win mates, as there are more of them in the male:female ratio... I feel like females will also participate as well. I don't think females interested in the same male will fight one another for him. While I'm sure it can happen, particularly for the younger ones, there are too many males to pick from. And anyway I just think that most yautja women are the embodiment of "girls' girls" and therefore won't be caught dead fighting another woman over a man of all things.

•Mostly in the case of two females interested in the same male, the older more experienced one gets him by default.

•Females are definitely more aggressive and assertive during sex, especially during breeding season. Males go into it expecting to get banged up - and they do.

•Males aren't involved in childrearing, and unless they are higher ranked yautja (who make more effort to have an impact on how their offspring develop) usually only active in their kids lives once they've reached their late teens, if not later than that.

•Females are very protective of their young, to the point of maiming/killing anything they perceive as a threat to their offspring. This includes the males of their species.

•Females handle the discipline of children. Anyone who disciplines their kids without express permission (even the father) is in for a world of hurt.

Misc

•While all yautja are able to breed after reaching the appropriate age, it's not as simple as that. While they're old enough to be considered, it's just that: considered. Usually the ones most involved in breeding are higher ranked warriors - ie, those who've already produced strong offspring and are therefore most sought after.

•Most clans view mating with anything other than their own as dishonorable. While half-bloods with other species are possible (if unlikely) they are usually viewed as abominations, and the ones who aren't killed and are allowed into the clan usually don't have a very good time of it.

solomon has old man syndrome like lucifer and is banned from the spades table. permanently

he reneged every turn and mc almost jumped over the table

simeon liked playing! but he knew he wasn't that great at it

threw the little joker out on the first hand "just to see what was out there" and mc actually had to walk out of the room

he'd say what he had in his hand, winning book or not, and everyone collectively facepalmed

he got the hang of it eventually though!

he still doesn't play often

luke just liked to watch :) he'd let asmo paint his nails while they both cheered on mc

and he'd make food and drinks for everyone with barbatos for them to have in between rounds

mephisto hated the game simply he never got dealt good hands, even when he was the one dealing

he'd watch from afar...but he wouldn't join in unless dia or mc asked him to

thirteen rarely ever made it to game nights early on, but she'd skip out on her reaper duties to drop by once she and the rest of the group became closer

more opportunities to prank solomon AND see the vein in mc's neck pop out because of how pissed they are ??? it's a win-win for her

she played every once in a while and is as skilled as lucifer, but she's quicker on her feet and better at strategizing

she can't count cards for shit and can never remember which suit led

raphael always got dealt the best hands but never knew how to play, even after mc watched over his shoulder and guided him the entire time

he's hopeless

but he likes to watch!

Of deities and immortals

Vajra as Great Old One of Chaos

I've been thinking about how godhood and immortality works in the SE universe (and how can I use the lack of stablished rules to my evil motives).

Today I want to talk to you about the Great Old Ones an my headcanons about them.

So, based in the manga and the anime, the Eight Shinigami Legions are the same thing as the Great Old Ones. They were chosen as Lord Death companions for a reason, they were incredibly powerful and, somehow, almost everyone ended up being a being closer to a eldritch deity than a human.

Except the ones who Asura ate of course.

G. O. O. of Order: Shinigami

Fear: Asura

Power: the octopus

Wrath/Rage: Excalibur

Knowledge: Eibon

Also, there isn't a lot of clarity about Vajra being only Asura's partner or if he was an oficial member of the eight, but I consider him as one since I think that he should have been an already powerful and skilled weapon to be Asura's weapon, plus he probably was from the very first weapons ever so I think he might have ended as a Great Old One too if it wasn't for Asura eating him.

And to me Vajra could have embodied the Chaos. Let me explain.

Since we don't have a lot about Vajra, we're gonna stick with my interpretation of him, which is based in my own HC and all the info I have absorbed from friends and Tumblr users who have their own versions of Vajra.

The Great Old Ones are inherently tied to madness, showing us that madness itself isn't inherently wrong, but the specific kind of madness and the way people choose to use it is what makes it dangerous.

In the case of the madness of fear (Asura), it enhanced the primal responses "fight or fly" (sorry if I'm using that wrong but i hope you'll get the point), making people a risk to themselves and to others.

People have a natural inclination to certain types of madness, but if there's a specific wavelength acting over them, that natural inclination can change or be mixed, like Stein

Even if we don't get a canon answer of what kind of madness he primarily had (putting aside that "madness" can be an allegory for mental illness and/or neurodivergency), I think that his madness at the start of the story was more atune to Madness of knowledge (Eibon), but the influence of Asura and Medusa's snakes made him switch to a combination of that and the madness of fear. We can see how his "disect this, vivisec that" behavior was strongly inclined to a "let's do it for science" attitude, but after Asura's resurrection it was more tinted with the violent impulses of harming someone, which Stein himself reconogized as something unusual and way out of his control.

So, coming back to Vajra.

The behavior that Asura shows himself is of pure fear. He's terrorized of being near another being and never initiated combat. It was always defending himself or his crazy (unwanted) followers trying to provoke Shibusen. Yeah, he's like "I'm gonna destroy your order, Shinigami-sama" and all that but he doesn't really try to attack anyone directly, the boy is a fucking coward (affectionate).

And ok, I've said that madness can cause different reactions, but I don't think that every one of his followers shared the same unicellular brain, with the same response to fear so... How resulted in everyone being so chaotic and violent under Asura's influence?

Well... Because Asura's wavelength isn't entirely his.

Asura has 2 souls inside him. His own soul and the remaining of Vajra's.

When Asura ate him, he was probably still alive.

I have the headcanon that some weapons can live longer if they're in their weapon form, and if they get injured in human form they can turn into weapons until they can get medical care or the injury heals (but this require a lot of practice and a somewhat strong soul).

Vajra probably survived for a long time inside Asura that way, and when Lord Death sealed them in Asura's skin he was slowly losing his humanity and the ability to turn back to his human form and even the ability to communicate to Asura through their soul resonance, but their souls were still connected in some way, so, the Madness that emanated from Asura was both, Fear and Chaos.

CRINGE RANT ALERT‼️TURN BACK NOW‼️

What I love so much about these characters (pokemon btw) is just how many iterations of them there can be between different people. When I say “iterations” I mean in the sense that, at least when it comes to protagonists, practically every person has their own distinct take on them as a character and their relation to the story and other characters. Like for example I HC Lyra being the champion of Johto, and another person (the majority of ppl probably) HC Ethan as the champion. I know that Lyra and Kris being related was a popular HC at one point (a HC that I also share). It goes on and on.

Anyways I wanted to make this post because I really wanted to ramble about the made up nuances and headcanons that I gave to Lyra and Silver in my head lol. I also can’t help but view them more as “muses” of inspiration—I find myself creating or thinking of stories generally unrelated to pokemon entirely when it comes to them at this point. It’s more about wanting to tell the story about them and what their interactions spark and what other interesting messages can be explored through them in different contexts—like they’re the channel for me to explore stories creatively in that way.

I think most Silver fans are aware of his issues so I won’t go into detail on him (no promises), which is why I wanted to talk more about Lyra, and interesting aspects of her character (that I made up lol).

I think with Silver being the way he is, it’s interesting to have someone close to him practically be a foil of him. I picture Lyra having perhaps “clingy” tendencies—not often but it’s there. This contrasts Silver’s flighty tendencies. Lyra is bubbly, (usually) self assured, while Silver is standoffish, and deep down has quite poor self esteem (pokemas practically confirms this). Lyra has a savior complex, and Silver has abandonment issues (these aren’t necessarily foils in this case, but I view these aspects of their characters to be their biggest social/psychological obstacles for their growth).

I remember when I was first thinking more deeply about these characters (years ago at this point) and their characterization, I pictured Lyra as constantly being emotionally aware of herself and others. But there is nothing human about that. That also falls into the “therapist partner” trope to me, where it’s just Lyra fixing all of Silver’s problems which 1) is kind of boring if Silver doesn’t help himself through that and 2) unrealistic and borderline unhealthy for both of them lol

Anyways, that’s where the exploration of Lyra having a savior complex stems from. She isn’t emotionally aware of everyone constantly, let alone herself. She doesn’t understand why she needs to feel needed in some way in order to matter to people or herself. She maybe doesn’t even interpret herself as having a savior complex until it’s explicitly pointed out to her by Ethan maybe or if she says/thinks something that was previously so deeply rooted in her psyche that she just can’t even deny it at that point.

I think what keeps her savior complex from bubbling up and making itself explicitly known to her for so long is due to the fact that she is such a successful trainer (in the pokemon universe in this case). She is constantly praised for the truly hard workload she’s been bearing since childhood—she is adored by the public.

It’s Silver that triggers it to the breaking point.

Silver is such an enigma to Lyra for a multitude of reasons—they’re so completely different, and she has no idea where he came from or… why he is the way that he is.

It’s her desire to know him and understand him that I think ultimately brings them closer—as rivals, then friends. But it isn’t all one-way; I feel that Silver wouldn’t exactly let on, but there are things about Lyra that he questions or wonders greatly about as well. What is it that motivates her?

Anyways, despite knowing each other for years, there’s a certain barrier in him that Lyra is just unable to crack. And I think the biggest problem is Silver’s fear of vulnerability and his abandonment issues. If he doesn’t let anyone in then it can’t hurt when they leave (but that’s total bunk, even though he refuses to acknowledge it). This push and pull is what drives Lyra even further towards being The One™️ to get through to him—because in some twisted sense she would feel useful or necessary to Silver if he finally opened up to her about himself. She would feel warranted.

And I think it would culminate into a big moment between the two of them—a tipping point.

But does your OFC ever get teased by the other elves because most of their people are tall? Like “OMG Haldir married a dwarf!” Lol

Lol I mean she’s not quite dwarf height!

I had to do some cursory research before I even thought about it because initially I was like 5’6” or 167 cm but it seems that elves avg range from like 6’/183 cm to 7’/213 cm with some common, taller exceptions especially amongst rulers (Thingol, Galadriel, etc. - and I do support runwaymun’s HC that Elrond is ungodly tall (cuz like king)

Based on what I read, it seems that afab elves were shorter but with less disparity between the sexes than humans. If Galadriel comes in at 6’4” and she’s the tallest female elf, then Hm.

I’m not quite sure I can give a height specific but I would say OFC is definitely on the shorter side for elves. I also feel like OFC Healer is also like one of the shorter elves where as married/domme OFC is closer to a more average afab elf.
