WALTER/DOTTY: that is a father and his daughter. walters trying his best and hes doing well but nothing would have been better than just moving out of mary bell township to raise his child.

WALTER/NORMAN: they’re brothers 👍 not much else to say there but they’re cool

Okay, for starters:

Why do I get a feeling that it would be an entirely Kabru’s idea to organize a double date?..

Thistle probably considers the entire concept of a romantic “date” meaningless and idiotic, and Kiera actually agrees with him, but she’s fully on board this time purely because she wants to see the chaos that could ensue from that kind of character combination.

Okay, now let's just assume that she managed to somehow convince Thistle.

Kiera fully approaches it as just a regular meeting to hang out with friends. (Thistle approaches it with a sour face and a sourer mood) This is no different from meeting Cath anywhere else in their free time, it just so happens that their partners are with them for this occasion.

I think at some point it might happen that Kiera and Cath will be separately talking about their own thing with each other, while Kabru and Thistle will be left dealing with each other. Or rather, Kabru would be trying to hold a conversation with Thistle for the purpose of psychoanalyzing him.

Kiera (with Kabru backing her up) will also be likely to try discreetly pushing Thistle and Cath into interacting with each other more. For science.

…gonna be honest, I feel like Thistle would call Cath a freak at some point. (Yes, Kiera is a freak too, but that’s his freak. He’s used to her). Kabru and Kiera are ready to watch the argument unfold while chewing popcorn. But in case if things escalate, keep in mind that Kiera is violently protective of Thistle and she wouldn't mind throwing hands with Cath (it's also a part of the fun, in some way).

I feel like the first immediate reaction for both Kiera and Cath might just be trying to solve it all with brute force. Just for a good measure.

But that is unlikely to help, because then we wouldn't have a plot.

Anyways, Kiera is not the type to panic and usually keeps her head cool, trying to figure out her way out of trouble. She might even seem too chill about the whole situation from the outside. She hopes she can expect the same from Cath.

I think there might be a potential for conflict because Kiera tends to get rather… bossy in drastic situations. She have always been very independent and very confident in her strategic abilities, and automatically perceives the problem as hers to solve. She will also be taking into account Cath's abilities when trying to calculate their way out, and she will expect Cath to follow her plan.

Luckily, it’s not that hard to snap her out of it. She’s still willing hear Cath’s ideas and wouldn’t actually mind following them if they are good. She can cooperate if she sees that it would be more beneficial.

Also I hope Cath wouldn't mind Kiera continuously cracking jokes about their situation. She has a dark sense of humour and that's her way of coping with stress.

- immediately the first one that comes to mind would be Tsubasa being to this juno what Sakyo is to regular juno, meaning that she sees him and is immediately like “I’m gonna learn what’s going on inside this freaks head if it’s the last thing I do” (in more juno terms of course). though I think there would be less animosity on Tsubasa’s side than that which Sakyo has towards Juno at first

- On the opposite side of that, I think Chiyun would probably have a very similar attitude towards them to Sakyo. I don’t think he’d be able to do the whole “one-shot KO that immediately throws Juno off guard before she’s able to really do anything or process any of that” thing that Sakyo does, but I think it’d be very easy for him to tell that Juno’s holding back somewhat and I do not think he’d be a fan

- Gingka’s dynamic with him would be very similar to Zyro’s where although they are friendly with each other and get along, Gingka can definitely tell that there’s something else that they’re not quite expressing and is very curious about it. In regular shogun steel timeline, this takes kind of a backseat as Kite becomes Juno’s main rival and the most determined to draw out their true willpower, though I’m not sure that Juno would have that kind of dynamic with any of the previous cast, so I could easily see Gingka being a more primary rival to Juno than Zyro would be.

- I think that him and Hyoma would get along. They’re actually fairly similar in the ways that matter and I could really see them clicking.

- Tobio juno friendship. Idk entirely how it would go but I just think it would work. They r important to me and I think it would be fun.

- I’ve never really imagined juno taking a proactive role against dna during the whole Actual Plot of shogun steel, and in that sense I think she’s very teru-like. During all of the main stuff with the dark nebula, teru was always portrayed as on the good side but like, never really had any focus or importance against the antags or anything and I think juno would be very similar. I think they’d probably also get along and bond over their different ways of using beyblade as a means of expression.

- I think fusion Hikaru would combust if she ever met juno. She’s already going through a lot of stuff and figuring things out with being okay with losing battles and learning to have fun with em and all that, and I think a juno who both kinda-not really but kinda loses battles on purpose and also could psychoanalyze her and everything that she’s got going on would be very insane to encounter for her

- Many a train wreck character would also probably freak out upon experiencing a juno battle, Kyoya and Zeo are the ones that immediately come to mind, though there are surely many more that would apply to

- I think Juno and Yu would have a very silly dynamic. Yu would very much take the blunt little kid approach of being like “wow man you’re like kinda weird yknow. Anyways wanna see my stuffed animal collection I’ll tell you all their names” and juno makes sure she learns all of them

As for the other main guys being in shogun steel

- Essi Gingka bestieism also means essi Zyro bestieism. She would also get along great with ren. They would be so fun all together. ACTUALLY THAT ALSO MEANS ESSI TAKANOSUKE BESTIEISM give essi all the friends always godbless

- I think kosuke would set his antics on kite the most. something about kite and attracting weirdo freaks

- also with Kosuke, although I don’t think he’d like Zyro either, I could see him tolerating him marginally more than he does gingka. Especially earlier on. I think post-nbb Zyro he’d be a little more prone to actively antagonizing

- Shinobu would not like kosuke. Shinobu’s consistently one of the biggest haters in my head and I think he’d be able to clock kosuke’s freakishness very easily and be very put off

- Axyl would get along with a lot of the main gang I think though not be particularly close with them. Although I do like the idea of him and Shinobu, while not super super friendly with each other, have a very immediate and strong autism to autism communication. They know what each other are

- I do think that them and takanosuke would be friends. If not for anything but the sake of my own mental health 👉👈

- Sakyo and the others would be interesting. I don’t really know how it would go for any of that really bc I could see it any direction. I like the idea of essi being somewhat intimidated by him but also finding him kind of lame and stupid (bc he is 🫶). Kosuke would be intrigued by him, though I don’t know that they’d interact much. I do think Sakyo would immediately not put up with any of their bs at all.

- Kosuke interacting with any of dna however would be a train wreck.

- I want to think that post-canon Axyl would get along with Genjuro. I could see them hanging out <3

Like, he draws foolish burial and starts talking about how the opponent threw something important away, or draws revendread slayer and begins interpreting it's effect as oracle reading advice

It's been so long since I've been in the Arc-V fandom!

But yes, this is a really interesting idea. Honestly, people who use decks to psychoanalyze and try to freak out their opponents is always interesting to see. Kind of like Mieru or Kodo Kinomiya aka the Profiler from 5ds.

It also makes me wonder if a ritual yuya counterpart would have some inkling as to their own true nature. Would it just be information to them and they sort of shrug it off or? I feel like a ritual yuya counterpart would be sort of chaotic for some reason. And maybe cause of the colors of ritual cards, I imagine them with blue-ish hair color. Lol.

But if you ask me, the best part is thinking of what their ritual dragon would look like and its effects! As a dragon lover, ummm yes let's go!!! More heavenly/dimensional dragons for the win!! I always did love those four dragons so much!! Actually they're my all time fave fictional dragons even still xD

I know this isn’t exactly the question but I think it’s in the spirit of what it’s asking basically my favorite characters to psychoanalyze are my OCs Cirillo and Angel and kind of Rocio as well actually. Okay so I don't usually infodump on here often. I know people don't follow me for my personal issues. Actually I don't know why most of you follow me.

But man I'm really down in it right now and I don't wanna get "whiny" on Discord so you all get to hear about my fear of rejection and how it, and the general online community I run with these days, has me feeling like I'm spinning my wheels and.... dare I say increasingly a failure?

This one's long but I'm not gonna edit it down for your sake so read it if you want or pass it if you don't. Might sneak something in the middle of it just for funsies.

Believe it or not I'm staring at the Keep Reading line because I don't freaking know where to start here there's just so much.

I guess let's start with I'm one of the moderators for a fairly niche but also fairly robust RPing Discord. I'm also the oldest active user there at 30 (and soon to be a half).

It's a server that's still recruiting fresh-faced 18 year olds so that's a 12 year age gap my friends. Which was never really an issue for me until my mother died earlier this year and now I'm trying to balance working 24-29 hours a week plus doing all the work of maintaining a house alone. In short, they're full of youthful energy and half the time I just want to sleep.

Which is where we circle back to the RPing Discord part of it. It's an RP Discord, we do big group RPs. Which used to be fun for me back when I worked 20-24 hours a week and lived with my mother, also when those RPs averaged like.... 10-12 people in them. These days they average 16-18 people in them and I have it feels like half the time to pay attention to them.

So you know, obvious answer is "well just step back from that big stuff. Keep moderating but start trying to do smaller group stuff." Which ordinarily would be the right answer but I have a problem. I'm... weird by their standards. In more than just my availability. I'm a not-yet-outed mtf (listen that's an entirely different longpost I could make about my fears over not passing the public perception test) and girl lover, this is a server that is still probably 75% ftms and gay men (of bara/dilf taste).

You can psychoanalyze me all you want on this one but I want to do stuff like Magical Girls or even just Anime Slice of Life, but I know there's no real market for it there. I've tried floating some of my ideas out before but usually it's struck down as on the lighter end being "too niche" or on the harder end I've actually gotten an "Ew why would people want to do something like that?" There's a few folks who I think would like it, but they are like me either too busy to notice or too new to know me well enough.

I've tried other Discord communities but they're all either skewed too young or too fucking weird even for me (I'm making a side blog for some of the absolute trash I've found on this hunt don't worry). I've poked around Roll20 and Reddit but honestly those sites scare the shit out of me with their applications and such. Look, my tabletop experience is about 6 sessions of Monsterhearts (before timezones doomed the group) and a session 0 of D&D (honestly it just wasn't that fun of a setup). Not to mention R20 and Reddit are just flooded with 5E games (thanks Critical Role, Honor Among Thieves, and Baldur's Gate 3...).

So instead of getting a chance to fuck around and find out, I'm stuck watching a bunch of college students with more free time than me spin big group RPs out of control faster than my head can keep up, so I lose the plot, and then limp out of the room feeling like a failure and a bad moderator. And also posting a long "get it off my chest" post on Tumblr about it.

That's it, there's no great resolution here. I literally just needed to say this stuff before it turned into what it usually does for me which is envy and hatred.

[Because we really like Stobotnik, but it's not just that. Here is a little Headcanon on the professional relationship between the doctor and his employee. I think that indeed, there is something special that binds them, and it is not necessarily to be taken as love.] Okay, it's probably was, but ...XD

 Stone and Robotnik are complementary. I think Stone is assertive, which definitely complements the aggressive aspect of Robotnik. He picks up the pieces when Robotnik freaks out and negotiates where Robotnik can't.

 This assertive and benevolent side feeds the lack of confidence that Robotnik has. He cures his lack of self-esteem.

 I think Stone clearly feels the need to help the doctor, because he sees all his flaws and weaknesses behind his controlling masks. He probably has Saint-Bernard syndrome which means that he hasn't let go of the matter yet. (Good, and he is also perhaps in great admiration of him).

 All the agents probably told him that his relationship with the doctor was toxic (and it was). But they do not understand that in reality it is perfectly balanced and that if he is not dead yet, it is because he has as much authority over the Doctor as the reverse.

 Which one is the baddest? Stone without a shadow of a doubt. Robotnik is constantly freaking out and he expresses a lot more emotions than Stone. However, if it occurs to you to hurt Agent Stone, he will be the worst monster and I see him extremely resentful. He is the quiet force that should not be shaken too much. As soon as he has the opportunity he will take revenge (especially if we touch the doctor).  Stone is the only one Robotnik really listens to. He will sometimes bully him because he was waiting for Stone to go his way and he does not. Which calls into question all these certainties and therefore makes him angry.

 But he still continues to ask his opinion. Because he admits that Stone is often right (but he will never tell him).

 If Robotnik is ENTJ (Commander) Stone is absoooolutly INTJ (Architect).

 Even though Robotnik claims no one can do better than him, he regularly asks Stone to proofread his research, or to assist him in his work. And not just because he expects gratitude, but also because Stone thinks very differently from his own and probably sees things the doctor doesn't.

 Stone often talks about his worries to the Doctor. He doesn't know how to hide anything from him. His roughness allows him to be shaken up in his moments of doubt and put him back on track. Especially if he has been snubbed by other agents.

 Robotnik often tells Stone that he is way too nice. Stone often tells Robotnik to learn to shut his mouth.

 Many make fun of Stone because he thinks he is the doctor's dog. They are not aware that in reality, it is often the opposite.

 When the doctor fails, he always holds Stone responsible. The agent knows that it is just unbearable for him to admit that it is his fault, to him.

 Robotnik always comes back to Stone after roughing him up, without apologizing, but he will always do or say something to make the situation better.

 They are possessive of each other. The link is privileged in both directions. I imagine Robotnik trying to make Stone feel guilty when he wants to do something outside of his job. And I also see Stone playing dead to push Robotnik to come back to him, to make him understand how indispensable he is.

 There is nothing more worrying for Stone than a doctor who does not mistreat him.

 There is nothing more worrying for Robotnik than an Agent Stone who does not prepare him a Latte or worse, who misses him.

 “You are not in good shape today, doctor. - If Stone, I'm perfectly fine! Stop psychoanalyzing me. …. In fact, there is something that annoys me with this drone… -Was I right then? -Silence, go get me a latte! »

 Stone forgives the doctor EVERYTHING… But above all, the doctor forgives Stone EVERYTHING.

We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)

Some Danganronpa spoilers ahead for the entire franchise so please don't read if you don't want spoilers, serious topics will be discussed

Ok so a while back me and a discord friend had this au-ish idea where the entirety of danganronpa is just Tsumugi's trauma fanfiction based off of people she knows irl and online as a way to cope because she was abused and neglected at home

These are the main details of the au under the cut, there will be no in depth details about the abuse but it is mentioned, I sincerely apologize if I inaccurately portray these issues just in case I did

Tsumugi cosplays at home and that's why she calls herself the ultimate cosplayer, and she makes herself the mastermind because she likes being the villain to cope with her trauma

All the characters from dr1 and sdr2 and the dr3 anime are all based off of people online that she looks up to (or despises in some cases), and characters with alternate versions of themselves are the combinations of their siblings (ex. Toko and Syo are twins and Izuru, Hajime, and super saiyan Hajime are triplets), with the exception of Junko who is an actress who mainly plays villains but irl is really sweet

Monokuma is Tsumugi's homeroom teacher who occasionally lets his sister substitute and the monokubs are his young children that Tsumugi really hates, he's also Junko and Mukuro's uncle and he and Tsumugi have a father-daughter relationship

Junko helps Tsumugi with her cosplays and makeup which is why Tsumugi idolizes her so much and wants to be like her

A lot of the poor writing in dr is due to Tsumugi not having the proper writing experience or knowledge on certain subjects which is why they come off so poorly

The Love Hotel scenes are Tsumugi trying to work through her own sexuality crisis alone (albeit poorly), and her own LH scene is her projecting what she believes is the only relationship she'd ever be loved in even if it's really messed up

All of the blackened and antagonistic characters in dr are people Tsumugi either hates or fears, and those with redeeming motives are the ones Tsumugi fears but recognizes that they are good people

Most characters in dr are cosplayers irl, streamers/youtubers, or social media influencers, aside from in v3 where everyone is a classmate of hers

The survivors of v3 are Tsumugi's irl friends, and the survivors of the prior games just came down to process of elimination mixed with who she liked

Her insistence of being "plain" in the games is because her parents always called her useless, and a part of the reason she hates Monokuma's kids is because she envies them for having the happy childhood she never had

She made monokuma the mascot because he’s known for his brutal punishments to kids who severely break school rules

All of the backstories for the dr1 and sdr2 characters are based off of one of the following: their main cosplay, their favorite game that they’ve played, or their aesthetic on their main social media account

Tsumugi works a lot of part time jobs to pay for her cosplays and her clothes and food

At some point Tsumugi posted her trauma/vent fanfics online under a different pen name and renaming all of the characters so they couldn’t be tracked (each of the games and the anime were posted as their separate fanfics and each chapter in the games is a chapter in the fanfic) and the fanfic blew up super fast, which she didn’t expect, and then people started cosplaying it for the irony and when she’s asked about if she’ll cosplay from it she says she’s not in it for the irony, she also got jaw-dropped when the cosplayers she turned into some of the characters from dr1 and sdr2 started cosplaying from it

One time Kokichi found her fanfic for v3 and commented about how his character seemed super familiar and she responded “no reason :)” and blocked him because his username was super obvious, he soon makes confused posts about it on tiktok

Eventually during Tsumugi’s 3rd year she reposted all of the fanfics but with much better writing and character arcs because she took online writing classes and the internet BLEW UP EVEN HARDER and so many people geeked out over it

Eventually Tsumugi tells her close friends about how she wrote the fics but it accidentally gets out to the whole class and when anyone tries to bully her about it all of her friends fight the bullies

The Love Hotel scenes were completely separate fanfics she impulsively wrote and posted at 3am when her sexuality crisis hit too hard, even she hates them and deleted them a year after they were posted because she just can’t believe she wrote them, let alone post them, and never rewrote them

The following are her relationships with the characters in V3 since she has no real relationships with the characters in dr1 and sdr2

All of the character’s ultimates are in fact based on actual skills they each have, and if they don’t have a distinct skill Tsumugi deep dives and tries to think of one, Junko was mostly inspired by her ability to analyze super well, which helped with her makeup ability, and because she played villain characters who caused despair

Edit: forgot to mention, but when Tsumugi kills her self insert at the end of v3, it's her essentially venting out how if all the important people in her life leave her she has nothing to live for anymore

Shuichi: They met after being some of the few kids in class who had nowhere to sit during lunch so they sat next to each other, after talking some more and realizing they had a lot in common, they became really close and he would sometimes cosplay with her, he also has a crush on Kaede even though it’s only from afar due to his social anxiety, Tsumugi however feels as though she’s a burden to him which is why she has him hate her in the last trial, when she told him she wrote the fanfic he constantly reassured her that she’s not a burden and was super embarrassed that he was made the protag after kaede, though he did find pregame him a bit odd

Himiko: Himiko is also an outsider due to her depression and general tired personality, she’s one of the few people who don’t judge Tsumugi for her cosplaying and anime interests and they’re both in anime club and will occasionally cosplay together, she was the one who accidentally let it slip about the fanfic thing but Tsumugi couldn’t bring herself to be mad

Maki: Another outsider but on purpose, she met Tsumugi after she found Tsumugi getting bullied and pushed around by some older kids, and afterwards she hung around Tsumugi to protect her and they eventually got pretty close even though Maki is generally socially dead, she also helps get Tsumugi food when Tsumugi’s parents are too neglectful to feed her, she also is the main protector of Tsumugi from her bullies, before and after the fic

Kiibo: An exchange student from being homeschooled, he and Tsumugi used to be pretty close, he was pretty famous on social media so sometimes they would go and do influencer stuff together and he’d cosplay with her, eventually he started dating Miu and they got a bit more distant due to Tsumugi not being a big fan of Miu, but they have no harsh feelings towards each other, even though Tsumugi thinks he hates her, he’s also a top student, he was a little weirded out by how both he and Miu were portrayed in the original fic but after talking it out with Tsumugi he let it slide and they talk more often because of that

Kaede: She met Kaede in secondary school and they got fairly close up until Kaede met Rantaro, after they met Kaede started hanging out with him more (romantic or platonic is up for interpretation) and Tsumugi was really hurt and jealous which is why she has Kaede kill Rantaro, she and Tsumugi reignited a relationship after the fanfic thing came out because she was super concerned about how Tsumugi was doing since you don’t just write that stuff without having some sort of trauma, they became closer afterwards and told Tsumugi she was flattered she was made into such a nice girl but also kinda freaked out that Tsumugi technically killed her but they also talked that out, she didn’t hold pregame Kaede against her because Kaede did in fact act like that when she was younger

Rantaro: Him and Tsumugi knew each other in middle school but didn’t like each other, she envied him because of how easy of a time he had making friends, and later on hated him for “stealing” Kaede from her, he is on ok terms with Tsumugi after the fanfic incident because Kaede and Tsumugi reignited a friendship and they tolerate each other

Kirumi: Tsumugi fears and looks up to Kirumi, as Kirumi is head of the student council and class rep but also very strict, one time Tsumugi got pushed down before school and was forced to come with a dirty uniform and Kirumi ripped into her for it and made her cry (although Kirumi quickly apologized and tried to comfort her but the trauma already set in), after she learned about the fic she talked to Tsumugi and gave her a singular pass for it because she did a fairly good job capturing Kirumi’s determination and sophistication

Ryoma: She’s never talked to Ryoma personally but she knows he has a criminal record for some minor crime and that scares her alongside how he one time suplexed a student three times his size after the student tried to pick on him for being short

Korekiyo: He freaks her out and she really hates his sister, and one time he psychoanalyzed her and it hit way too close to home so now she both doesn’t like him and respects him, which is why she just has his sister be the motive/his abuser because she full on just hates her cause she’s a “normie” who made fun of her one time in public, after he learned about the fic he tried to talk to her about the original version of the v3 fic to talk it through because he knew about her issues and now they’re on good terms

Angie: Funny enough she just is way too afraid to talk to Angie because she is a foreign exchange student and Tsumugi was really confused by her religion which is why it’s handled so poorly and why Angie is so focused on Atua, Angie also is super confident in herself and extroverted and that intimidated Tsumugi so much she just never talked to her, after the fic Angie sat her down and educated her on the details of her religion so Tsumugi could fix any accidental misconceptions about the religion and culture

Tenko: With Tsumugi’s constant sexuality crisis, she also has internalized homophobia which is why Tenko, an open women lover, scares her so much, Tsumugi can’t comprehend it so she made Tenko really creepy and oddly violent towards men even though the actual Tenko only beats up men who harass her or other women and not just every single man, she’s also really nice to Himiko and because Tsumugi fears Tenko she warped it

Miu: Miu is also a woman confident in her sexuality, she just comes off a lot more strongly than Tenko and is even more intimidating to Tsumugi, Tsumugi also thinks she’s gross because she’s open about her kinks and her gross ways of making sure she’s healthy, after she and Kiibo started dating she started to resent Miu, but regardless of this she still acknowledges that Miu is a top student, she only really likes Miu because she and Kokichi hate each other, but after it got out that Tsumugi wrote the fic Miu tried to pick on her but Maki scared her off

Gonta: She really loves Gonta and at some point had a crush on him, but he turned her down after Kokichi spread rumors that she was afraid of bugs and Gonta didn’t want to freak her out due to the fact he lives in an area full of bugs and has a few pet bugs, she has no harsh feelings towards him however and still likes him, though not as a crush, Gonta was still super nice to her after the fic thing and doesn’t think any less of her

Kokichi: She absolutely despises him and everything he does, they’ve known each other since they were kids and he’s always picked on her, though to him he’s only friendly teasing and thinks they have a friendly rivalry, he does everything out of childish amusement and doesn’t actually think he’s doing any harm to her even though she actively hates him and has gotten punched on several occasions by Maki for teasing Tsumugi too much, he also is purposely controversial online and has tried to be cancelled way too many times but somehow finds a way to find dirt on the people cancelling him and now everyone is too scared to cancel him, he also “bullies” cosplayers on tiktok by dueting them and mocking them but to him it’s ironic but to everyone else it isn’t, he has done this to Tsumugi on multiple occasions and she hates it, he tried to tease her about writing the fic and blocking him but Maki punches him in the throat, he makes a tiktok about that as well but keeps her identity a secret

Kaito: He became Maki’s boyfriend sometime after she met Maki and, in his stupidity, accidentally insulted Tsumugi’s comfort cosplay and she hated him after that, his death and illness was inspired by the one time he got the flu and gave it to everyone and it ruined one of her wigs, after a while they began talking more and she began to realize he wasn’t a jerk, just really stupid, so she made him a nicer character, after it got out that she wrote the fanfics she asked if he was mad he died but instead he was like “nah man that was a super cool way to go”, he was confused on pregame Kaito until Tsumugi explained that that’s how she used to see him
