“Told you.” Was the first thing Kunikida said when both Dazai and Ranpo let out a synchronized groan upon seeing the rain still going strong. 

He had insisted on how everyone should get their own umbrella to minimize the risk of someone getting wet, to the point of sounding repetitive to even himself. And yet, though not surprisingly, those two had counted on being helped out instead of heeding his advice. The funniest part? That would come soon enough, a bit after Dazai ended up being the one being actually scolded while Ranpo got away with it.

Because some things never change even after starting dating, and because Chûya was with them too and would never pass up a chance to get on Kunikida’s side. Or to call out Dazai.  More so if he could do both if one sitting.

“You should’ve listened to Doppo, duh.”

“Why are you just looking at me? Ranpo didn’t bring one either.” Dazai pouted in an exaggerated manner, as he tended to do in moments like that.

“Why? ‘Cause I’m the most special one, c’mon.” Ranpo added, only half-joking; both at work and with their partners, he was always very much spoiled, and none of them could deny having contributed.

“You’re lucky you’re pretty. Both of you.” Chûya continued, making everyone snort and stopping to reach for not one but two foldable umbrellas from his backpack while Kunikida himself did the same. “If not we wouldn’t have brought extra for you pampered lil’ shits.” Well, Kunikida couldn’t have resisted doing it anyway, but he wasn’t going to add that.

Nor did he have time to do so, since in a matter of seconds Dazai and Ranpo were all over him and Chûya, showering them with praise and some kisses.

“See?” They said, so much in sync the whole thing might as well have been rehearsed. Of course not, those two didn’t need it. “We can always count on you!”

“Fuck, I… I’m sorry.” Chûya said after a few minutes in silence, leaning in to kiss Dazai’s cheek with a tenderness that may or might not last till annoyance took its place. And not fully satisfied with just one, he also lifted a hand towards his forehead in order to part Dazai’s bangs and leave another kiss there.

Yes, right where the mark he had left was.

“Aw, c’mon, it wasn’t your idea or anything.” Dazai answered after a while. “But if you wanna keep going, I won’t complain.”

Such a comment instantly prompted the redhead to smack the exact same point he had just kissed, though not with actual force; it was partly a warning and partly just wanting to cut him some slack… that one time. After all, he had already gotten enough bruises.

And Chûya didn’t want to argue right then, not when both of them could simply take in the relief of having prevailed against very difficult odds.

“Shut up, will you? I’d rather deliver you alive to that friend of yours when he joins us.”

“Nah, you won’t dare to try and kill me now, Chûya.” Of course, Dazai was right, but the sing-song tone he used made him want to smack his head again. “Besides, you don’t have to worry about making a good impression when it comes to Sigma, he’s seen way worse stuff.” Chûya immediately scoffed.

“That’s more of a reason, sheesh. If you’re not gonna stop being a lil shit for me, at least do it for him.” He had barely finished speaking when Dazai put on his most innocent face, one he wouldn’t believe till actually being shown evidence.

“I’ll do it, ‘kay. For both of you.”

“I must have forgotten,” T.K. tells him, trying for innocent and coy.

Carlos leans forward a little bit, hooking his finger into the chain and using it to draw T.K. toward him. “I think you’re lying to me Tyler.”

David McCallum is almost irreplaceable for the role of Paradox. To find a replacement would require finding someone with as much warmth and gravitas as he gave the character.

i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
