So ….it seems this year is the year where I finally kick my ass to finish my special manga list and this is one of the titles there , I knew 07-ghost from the anime which lead me to see the manga , back then it wasn’t done yet nor there was scanned translations for it yet but now it’s done and shit the authors fucked up the lead so hard , it’s a mix of drama , psychology, demons, a bit of shounen vibe .

The story goes around a military student named ( tatio ) who’s also a combat slave owned by the military, the story goes on about him discovering the truth of his identity, then the fact his memories were erased so he haves to gain them , the lose of his only light ( his best friend mikagi ) , and the truth about the 07-ghost with their origin mixed with the connection of the worlds fate on his hand and his opposite …I felt hocked reading none stop the whole story and I loved how the villain and the lead got bamboozled by a hidden player no one saw coming but the ending was bitter sweet I guess like it’s good and logical but I kinda wished for a different way 🤷🏻‍♀️ regardless it was a good ending and it didn’t piss me off , making me love it more even with the pain in it 😭😭😭

i did NOT know you were into the outsiders. the outsiders was, like, my 2nd fandom ever and i was SUPER into it. found family has forever been my #1 and i just love all of the guys so much. sodapop is so bleeding-heart-on-his-sleeve imo and we love him for it

You know what, I think it must have been my first or second fandom 😆. I literally almost named my dog Sodapop because I was so obsessed with the novel/movie at the time. Ended up creating an "I <3 Sodapop" shirt at someone's birthday party instead lmao. And then I was obsessed with watching movies that C. Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio were in (which then started an obsession with The Karate Kid series). I also told my driving instructor that I wanted to marry young Rob Lowe, and he was like pfft, what, have you even seen any of his movies? And I was like yeah, duh, ever heard of St. Elmo's Fire, old man?? 😂

I have also always carried with me the knowledge that on the set of The Outsiders, Tom Cruise had to drink a bunch of raw eggs to make himself throw up so that he could do a scene. Dude was so gung-ho about acting on that set that he was like yeah lemme blow some chunks so we can keep rolling. But anyway, now I think about that whenever I feel sick, and I'm like hm maybe I should do the ole Tom Cruise method 😂.

And then like?? The fact that before (?) filming they let all the Soc actors stay in nice rooms and then let all the Greasers sleep on the floor (or something?? don't remember exactly what the conditions were) as a way to build resentment between the actors so it would translate on screen.

And no yeah, the found family aspect of The Outsiders is sooo 👌🏻. I mean it has the main Curtis brothers which already ticks off my box of platonic sibling bonds, but the gang acting as the other half of the family is 👌🏻.

Oooh gosh, I guess it’s up to you? There’s still a lot of the story left to write—I’d say we’re probably either half or two thirds of the way there in terms of storyline and events that will happen. It’s not going to be over any time soon, basically, which is both exciting and pretty scary 😭

Honestly I think the tension is in the first half, if that makes sense? (Which it probably doesn’t since you don’t know reader’s fate, but 🤷) There’s going to be a ‘half’ chapter which adds in some contexts to reader’s history, but I think after chapter 15, that should be where the tension relaxes a bit? I like to think that in *very* broad terms, chapters 1 through 15 are the ‘hurt’ ones, and 16 onward will be the ‘comfort’ ones? There are still going to be intense moments but she might not have to be on her own anymore (provided she learns to seek help when she needs it)

I feel like even as soon as he first visited her in her cell, there was a suggestion he wasn’t that bad? Especially after we learned only one person bet on her winning? Ignoring how acotar characters would write that off as a whim, from a storytelling standpoint that’s a pretty clear way of singling a character out and making them significant 🤭

I didn’t hate him in the first book or any other after that, BUT, I did definitely get frustrated with him during the High Lords’ meeting 😭 I kind of wish we got his perspective on that, or at least more about his character? Because Feyre dismantling stability within the Spring Court was quite a brash move I think, and one she might have decided against if she wasn’t having to deal with so many other matters as well as sorting through her own emotions? Because she definitely went through a lot 😭

I guess I feel that Tamlin has a lot of anger in general, which can make him impulsive and volatile at times—like when Feyre first realised she could make a shield in his office—and I’d love to see Sarah explore that more!!

I think the problem starts when people get too attached to characters that they’re unable to speak objectively about them? The tension being set up both in the one bed at the inn scene and the Court of Nightmares moment just made the resolution really enjoyable for me! Not so much the smut part, but when Rhys finds her in the cabin and they end up having a heart to heart, and Rhys tells her more about his history? It just made me feel so happy for them so I know what you mean about wanting them to get together!

I don’t have it to that extent, but I know that on a smaller scale, I like having music or videos playing in the background while I work? Especially while doing more domestic work like the washing up, changing my sheets, generally tidying etc. it makes the process so much easier, and I won’t get bored of the work or feel guilty for relaxing during ‘work hours’ on weekends

Your take on him is literally my favorite ever in this whole fandom, I’ve definitely come to that conclusion by now. Not only do you really get the characterization so right, it’s also the way you create the feeling and the atmosphere of being loved by this man that’s so tangible through your stories. Both from the mental and physical point of view of the reader character in question. It’s amazing how you manage to translate those complexities to written word. Like I am 100% convinced that this man could fuck love all of the pain away if you give him the chance😩. He just gives off that brute energy, but once you get to the core of him he’s so eager and willing to be soft and caring for you🥲😩

(I am also currently halfway through the first part of your konig story and when I tell you the whiplash I got from going from soft and caring ghost to… that freak🫠🫥 I am both terrified and intrigued, I do love me a lil ol creep once in a while but damn that man is entirely in a league of his own 😳)

And YES he would definitely fuck and love your pain away. I love me some intense, gruff Ghost too (that's why I wrote and continue to write the medic stories and his pov) but I stand behind my headcanon of him as a man who takes full resposibility. He's distanced and cynical and cold to his enemies, sure. The soldier Ghost is not a role, it's part of him, he embodies war in full. But he doesn't have the emotional intelligence and capacity of a potato. He might be a little rough around the edges, run like a stray dog from attachments at first, but when he's there, he's there. When he settles... Damn, he really fucking commits.

And umm, you're not the only reader who has voiced their wish for a pt 2 to that Virgin story. It's on the to do list, sort of, but I can't promise anything 🙈

🌱 My Watch Collection (Of Only Sub $100 Watches)

Even though I like tech, and Apple gear, I don’t have smart watch. And the main reason I that I like (mostly mechanical) watches too much. But even though my dream watch is an old Explorer with faded Tritium, I only own very cheap watches. And I’ve greatly enjoyed finding bargains that still looks good and works well - several of them from Russia/USSR.1

Casio A500WGA-9DF

Every watch collection, no matter the budget, needs a digital Casio. And to me, this (and its silver sister) is, by far, the coolest.

Raketa Copernicus

This hand-wound beauty has some really unique hands, and a pleasing dial. And it comes in several (more or less original) dial and colour variations. As will become apparent, I really like smaller watches like this!

I also bought it in black, back in the day. But it was dead-on-arrival - which I guess is part of the joy of ordering old, cheap watches on EBay.

Poljot De Luxe

Another hand-wound watch Made in USSR. After about a year, I usually swap the straps on these two!

The watches are bought on Ebay. The butterfly clasps are the best ones I've found on AliExpress, and the straps are high-quality ones from Etsy. Still a very affordable package!

Vostok Amphibia x2

If you’ve ever seen the Wes Anderson film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, this quirky Russian watch is the one worn by the main character. And actually with this specific dial as well!

I think he might have the blue version of the dial, though.

These automatic watches are very fun, cost “nothing”, and loves to be modded. And it can still go diving, if need be - even though the bezel is pretty shabby.

My first Vostok was the one on the right — but I found the cushion case too large, so bought the one on the left, and sold the first one. It bums me out that I don’t want to order from the factory anymore - because you could pick-and-choose the bezel, hands, crown, etc. on their site, and they would put it on before shipping! Because the stock options don’t look too great…

I don't have a current picture of this, as I'm trying to get the bezel repaired.

She prefers the analog watches - so this is mostly used for sleep tracking and workouts at the moment. She has a Solo Loop, and a more dressy leather strap.

She likes to hike (often spending the night in the forest alone), and then this 34 mm army watch, is her companion. Enough water resistance for swimming, tritium lume, and small and light. 👌🏻

When I wanted to ask her to marry me, I didn’t like the idea of spending tons of money on a diamond ring (for several reasons). So instead, I bought a vintage emerald ring and a really nice watch she could use every day. I also got in engraved with “for eternity”, which in Norwegian is a pun, as it directly translates to “for eternal time”.

I’m not blaming the Russian watch makers for the war — but I still don’t want any more of my money to go in that direction, sadly. ↩︎

She really didn’t want to model the watches — but she did it when I asked her nicely. So when I saw, just now, that the focus aren’t the best on the images, I didn’t want to ask again. So sorry about that! ↩︎
