Do I think Zach really wanted Cammie to show him the secret passageways? The short answer is yes. Yes, I do.

Although, I think it has less to do with the secret passageways and more to do with Cammie. Like, he's a boy with a crush on a girl and looking for any excuse to spend more time with her. Don't get me wrong, I think secret passageways are a universally interesting thing and who wouldn't want to see them? I mean, unless you're afraid of spiders (me 🙋‍♀️) or small spaces—both of which Cam has said might make the experience of exploring secret passageways more of a challenge.

Anyways, while I think Zach has some general interest in seeing the secret passageways, I think his interest stems from his interest in Cammie. In CMH he starts to fall for her, and he falls hard. I don't think he even knows just how interested he is. It's a bit telling that he keeps asking about the secret passageways because the secret passageways are a part of Cammie—part of her being a chameleon, part of her being a Gallagher girl—they're her favourite part of the school. And Zach loves that. He doesn't know it yet, but he does. Like, he calls her "Gallagher Girl" because he knows how much it's a part of her (even though it may have started out as a nickname to tease her, it eventually becomes a term of endearment made just for Cam). There's that line at the end of UWS when the school is burning down and Cammie still wants to save it and Zach says to her "Gallagher Girl, you are the school."

So ultimately, I think Zach's interest in the school comes down to his love for Cammie. Because in CMH he just can't help himself, he's starting to care about her, so he's starting to care about the things she cares about. Because yeah, Cammie is the school.

Okay so I have trash taste in media whether that be book or show or movie, but here’s what I got off the top of my head:

• six of crows obviously (never a wrong time for a reread)

• the night circus by erin morgenstern (basically if the gladiators were in a fantasy 1800s magical circus and they were also in love with each other)

• the if I stay duology by gayle forman (contemporary romance: girl in coma, boy play guitar; emotional roller coaster so beware)

• crier’s war duology by nina valera (sapphic sci-fi robot love)

• basically any thing by taylor jenkins reid (especially seven husbands and daisy jones; they’re the most popular for a reason)

• the cruel prince series by holly black (fae but not in the fantasy romantic way, in the actual complex evil fae folklore way; oh and enemies to lovers 🫡)

• the infernal devices series by cassandra clare (not to be cringe but the entire shadow hunters series has me by the throat. I am cringe but I am free. I already warned of my horrible taste in media)

Well, I headcanon King Dedede to be autistic, but idk for Escargoon. I don't know enough about neurodivergence to know exactly what things are directly related to neurodivergence and what things aren't, but I do headcanon Escargoon to either have misophonia or something very similar to it. I'm not entirely sure if that is connected to neurodivergence or not, but I headcanon him to be neurodivergent either way if that makes sense.

Have you ever read Stephen Fry’s Great Mythology series?, I would want to hear your opinions on them, because I only got to read Mythos (which I nevert got to finish but I remember liking it)

I personally kinda discovered each myth separately through watching videos explaining them, reading Wikipedia/Theoi pages or articles (I like checking multiple sources).

I never really took the time to read books explaining the myths. And your ask kinda motivates me to start doing it. I'll probably check Stephen Fry's book(s) and write a post about them.

Oof, I'd have to go through all my fics to give a definite answer probably. At the top of my head it's probably the "humans are jelly" one from my Frostiron drabbles. It's not even something I came up with but something a friend told me (and I think they got it from their teacher? Idk). And also the one about the purpose of belly buttons. The drabbles are a bit silly...

Oh, and there's also the reference to something Emily Blunt said irl to Cillian Murphy in a radio interview (about camomile tea).
