hello everyone!!! i finished my killer skin entry for unknown just now before work, i really wanted to post it, so here it is 🥺❤️ i am incredibly proud of how it turned out and super happy with it, i really hope i can at least get into the finals, but it's okay if i don't! i had fun regardless. i hope you all love my design as much as i do!! :-))

under the cut are my original concept sketches and details about the design and my process! 🫶

so here's my page! my main inspiration was my favorite slasher, jason voorhees. my original ideas, before i even sat down to concept, were a lot more like him! but i decided a lighter inspiration would suit the design best.

as you can tell, the body changed quite a lot from my concept art -- i actually decided pretty late into drawing the final design to axe the overalls. although i found them charming and unique, i didn't really like how they looked with everything else, so i gave them a baggy pair of jeans instead.

their belt also changed heavily! i moved the skull with the tongue to the middle, with the frog and catfish on either side. i made them fully intact over skeletons because i thought it would add little more intrigue and detail to the design. i imagine that they just stumbled upon the dead animals and decided to take the poor creatures with them.

their necklace is meant to be alligator AND human teeth, the original necklace was taken from an alligator poacher (along with everything else they're wearing, of course). they were intrigued by such a novel idea, and took the poacher's teeth before killing him.

My gf @feltmanor and I recently beat the Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door remake and OMFG I WAS CRYING AT THE END FROM HOW MUCH I LOVED IT 🥺

Seriously I can’t believe this remake wasn’t made by fans, how much polish and detail there is and the quality of life updates! This easily became game of the year for my gf, and for me it reminded me just how much I adore a certain “freak” in a sheet, I’m talking about Doopliss uvu

I never had this game as a kid and only discovered the games when I was in my early teens, I discovered Doopliss when I found a comic about him being made over on deviantART, it was about him having partners of his own and going on his very own adventure! This ofc engrossed me and I read every page that was available at the time, sadly the artist behind this comic never finished it and hasn’t touched it in… so many years… I actually remember asking if I could continue it a few years after she stopped and yet she wanted to give it another try at making the comic… though nothing became of this… cut to now and I’ve fallen right back in love with this lil guy after encountering him in game and seeing all new art of him 🥹

I remember during the time I was really into paper Mario after playing super paper Mario and watching videos about it that I tried to take a crack at creating a story for Doopliss, I used at least two characters this person made for her old comic and added known characters from the PM world. I only ever made stand alone art pieces back then and never got into an actual story… until everything came flooding back when I played the remake of TTYD. I’m not going to go into detail on what this new adventure will be about but I’ll just say it incorporates some stuff from my old ideas and a few characters from that old comic I discovered ( I’m sure the artist wouldn’t mind that I’d use these old characters since the comic is abandoned to my knowledge but I’ll see if I can ask her first ).

My gf actually requested me to draw some Doopliss doodles and ofc I happily obliged. It’s been literal years since I last drew this lil baby boy and just seeing him makes me so damn happy 🥹❤️ also this is the first time I’ve ever drawn Flurrie! Tbh I thought I’d fuck her up but I’m kinda happy with how she turned out c: Now since Doopliss does join Flurrie in the acting business in the end of the game I see the two start bonding over the years they work with each other. I see about five or so years passing by after the events of TTYD and I see Flurrie acting as a motherly figure to Doopliss, since I see him being rather young mentally, like around 14 to 15 years old, his bio age I got nothin on since idk how duplighosts age >>;; plus I got ideas for his parents and he hasn’t really seen/been with his real mom in a rather long time.. so I thought it’d be cute and sweet for Flurrie to do this <:3

I’m glad you find it interesting, Anon! It’s a very subjective preference-based thing, so I see how someone might find it weird, even though it’s not as rare on the Eastern side of the fandom…

Oof, this is a good question lol A bit difficult to tell with some of them because we just don’t ship them with anyone, buuuut.

Vargas is a top because while he isn’t super interesting to us, he fits a very specific role in a very specific trope verrry nicely (gym teacher/badly performing student).

Sam is a mysterious man, but somehow gives us top vibes. Crowley has the same reasoning for also being a top… for now. He is also an authority figure and misuses his power + an idiot, we love those two things in tops lol But we don’t know enough about him and don’t ship him with anyone.

Baul is a top; we haven’t seen him, but we know the type, and we love seeing this kind of a man as a top. Similarly to Sebek, to be fair.

Eliza is *drum roll* also a top because Idia attracts those with his babygirlness lol We aren’t invested in Eliza enough to give her a concrete role though, it’s mostly just because she is bossy and more assertive than Idia.

Can’t say anything about Najma, haven’t met her yet at all, unfortunately :( Not getting any vibes yet, but excited to figure her out one day… when we watch the event.

I love them, i love them so much.. the fact that Tanjiro didn't bat an eye on Hantengu when in almost every demon's death scene he would show a small empathy towards them.. But again he turn into dust super fast and Tanjiro is too distraught with the lost of his sister.. BUT STILL THIS IS LIKE ONE OF THE REASON WHY I LOVE HANTAN AAAAAAA

Like this is the moment where Tanjiro actually lead the attack on an upper rank demon. sure he got lots of help but it's still because of him that he managed to sniff him out.. in a way Hanchan is his first upper rank demon to beat 🥺🥺 im so happy cause i got to see Tanjiro grew alot but again it's just me being delulu for HanTan ehehehehehe

I feel like in this case Jamil and Damali are a bit different, like Damali wants to do this grand gesture to show the world how much she loves him but Jamil I believe might be the type of guy to so something much more discreet and private😭 but!! Mayhaps!! Because they know about each other's likes they would do what the other wants😭😭

So I think maybe Jamil would try to do his best to make a "grand romantic gesture" and ask for her hand, maybe he'd take somewhere really beautiful like a park or something and he has a small street performance group playing music, and when they get there it's her favorite song, then he gets a bouquet and does the whole cliche thing😭 it's very oit of character and he's super embarrassed but I think he'd do it out of love for her? Like even if he doesn't want to he'd do it in order to make her happy🥺 and then it turns out that Damali has also bought wedding rings and was planning to ask him the same day to marry her once they're walking back home at night, when there's no one on the street but them, so she would grab his hand and gift him the rings telling him to marry her🥺🥺

This was a bit tricky bc I never drew them! So I can only offer a few images I would use as inspiration to draw the outfits! I'm focusing on a western marriage bc that's what I know, I started looking at Arabic weddings but then I got afraid bc I didn't know if they actually were Arabic or if the internet was lying to me😭 so I'm sticking to what I know unfortunately...

I feel like Damali would like dresses that are off the shoulder, that have long sleeves and that are more fitted to the body, I don't think she would want to look like a princess, and to be honest I feel like she'd give more importance to the fabric of the dress and what Jamil thinks of it bc... Blind

But yeah!! I think she'd slay these dresses and look super pretty!!

Unfortunately wedding suits don't get nearly as much appreciation which is a shame! But I like to think Jamil would wear like some beige ish color? I think the silhouette would look somehow similar to Riddle's groom outfit from the Phantom Bride event, it's stylish and pretty beautiful, he'd be able to stand beside Damali and look wonderful 🥺

Also I like to think that maybe Damali would not necessarily want a white gown? Maybe she'd wear like a very light green... But idk

Constantly At The Mercy Of Temperature Changes〜Deadline Extended Thanks To The Leap Year〜

Lately, there have been extremely hot days, and then all of a sudden, the temperatures are dropping again so I often find myself being dressed inappropriately when I go out. Yesterday for example, I was wearing clothes that weren't suitable for the weather😇Flimsy pants made of thin material without tights underneath and just a thin, short down jacket😂My legs were freezing😂 Why did I choose a short jacket? I kept blaming myself all day as I was struggling not to be blown away by the strong wind😇 Well, I somehow survived yesterday, so today I made sure not to make the same mistake again. I wore a thick long wool coat, tights underneath my pants and a huge muffler wrapped around my neck. Best choice, it was perfect ＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／ I didn't feel the cold at all! ! I was so happy that I ate yakiniku for lunch all by myself at my favourite small restaurant. (I should have taken some pictures😅)

Anyway, today it was even colder than yesterday in Tokyo, also, it was extremely windy😱 There were a lot of things lying on the main street that had been blown around by the wind... I wondered what it was. When I looked closely, I noticed that it was garbage bags which had been blown around😱There was even one garbage bag lying around in the middle of the road 💦 The wind is way stronger than expected...

The truth is, I want to graduate from my super unhealthy habit of using my smartphone before sleeping🥺📱It's really bad for me 😭 In my case, it's not a matter of my sleep becoming too light, but rather that I fall asleep later and later.😭 After getting ready and heading into bed, it's best to turn off the lights and focus on falling asleep. That way I can get in a lot more hours of sleep! I am aware of all of that but still...it's tough... So that's why I would really like to move past this bad habit! ! 🥺💐

Ok, ok, it's been so long and I have many things to say.

First, I already have a sketch of Miguel (kind of), and he looks so soft. I was going in with super low expectations because he is so hard to draw, but I love how it came out! School keeps me busy, and I suck at managing my time, but I'll draw Pavitr soon enough so I can get started with fanarts (If I hear another engineer say my career is easy I'm losing it)

Second, the nickname post was so cute!!! I always love Miguel fluff. We don't have enough of it. I remember one time you hinted Miguel might or might not get jealous in one part of Nonviolent Communication but if I'm being honest I can't see Miguel being a jealous type (Although I'd love to read your take on it) I think he is more of an insecure person. Sure, I see him getting angry and even uncomfortable if someone flirts or tries anything with his partner, but not because he is jealous but rather because he wants his partner to be safe. I picture him hugging them the moment he gets home and just melting with them in his arms, nuzzling his nose against their hair, drowning in them. I think he focuses more on their safety than in any other thing.

"Did he touch you? Offer you something? What else did he say? Are you sure you're ok?"

In his mind, he is just glad they're safe and comfortable. Anything else is secondary, but I can maybe see him getting jealous of the attention they give to others, but if that's the case, I think he would just start saying nonstop that they are his and they're in a relationship at every opportunity he gets. He would also stand closer, just as an extra precaution (because he is petty like that)

Ya, por último, do you think Miguel eats red meat during Easter? I'm sure he allows Gabri to do so, but I have this silly idea that Miguel just... doesn't. He isn't religious or anything, but whenever he serves something with red meat to his daughter, he hears his mom telling him that he shouldn't eat that because it's disrespectful. Again, he isn't religious, but I like to think that something deep inside him tells him he shouldn't. Like that feeling when you can finally do something your parents didn't allow (like pulling an all-nighter or trying a certain food or watching a show). It's not guilt. It just feels odd... So he instead cooks seafood unless Gabri specifically says she wants something else. It's a silly idea, but I feel it's something ATSV Miguel would do

He's def hard to draw (I'm still struggling and I've been bad about practicing, too, because of poor time management recently😭 so that doesn't help! Really hoping to get back into it this week tho, so I can draw him correctly one day), so I'm happy that you love the way it turned out!! I've been meaning to post a little more since I feel like I rarely post original content, even though I have a lot of ideas but sometimes lack of time and overthinking stops me. I do agree that we need more Miguel fluff though!! We need more people to write or send fluff requests to writers!! We need like a fluff week of writing or something for Miguel!!

AWWW your jealous Miguel idea just got me in my feelings for real!!!!! 🥹🥹 Him being focused on his partner's safety more than anything >>>>> why is he not real???? No, I totally agree that Miguel would be more insecure than anything!! In Nonviolent Communication, I've included that Miguel has felt/sometimes still feels insecure about his appearance and his family life (the parents situation), so if we do have jealous Miguel in the fic... 👀 This aspect will def play into it. Also, the bit about him being more jealous of the attention - I can see this as well!! But in the fluffy way that Miguel just loves receiving his partner's attention, you know?

I can see him def making it known that his partner is taken especially if he sees that his partner feels uncomfortable by someone trying to make a move on them despite already making it known they're taken, so Miguel then steps in and we have him pulling them into him, placing his hand on their waist, and "hola, mi amor" or whatever nickname he has for his partner, to emphasize to the person to stop bothering his partner.

But do trust that if we see jealous Miguel in Nonviolent Communication, it won't be him going crazy or acting aggressive/hostile. I don't want to say much but believe me, we'll continue to see soft Miguel no matter the situation, even when he gets all celoso and grumpy, which I can see him displaying - grumpiness, not aggression!!

I'm very quickly going to say that I didn't know you're a Spanish speaker, so I'm delightfully surprised to see your Spanish in this ask!!! :) But about Easter and whether Miguel follows lent - it's actually crazy that you bring this up because I was thinking about this, too, recently as I'm Catholic and was not eating red meat. And well, this man truly does live rent free in my head and being Mexican, I like to wonder about his experiences - both the serious and the funny ones - as a Latino.

I hope I'm not rambling from this point on but this is something very interesting to think about, so here we go!! I know in a comic run it's mentioned that he's not religious but that he still finds himself at times doing certain things out of habit because he grew up in a Catholic home. He doesn't identify as one though, but instead as an atheist. That's comic Miguel and that's what I've seen so far from doing research in the past for the fic. I haven't read the comics yet, so I may be missing some information but that seems to be it.

ATSV Miguel on the other hand... I have a feeling he's not super religious right now (maybe hasn't been for several years), but he's also not an atheist?? It's more like he's lost a lot of faith at one point with so many negative events and situations taking place in his life (and like, I wouldn't blame him because if the writers stick to comic events... I would, too, lowkey). I think he probably has an ongoing inner conflict with his religion. Despite that, I truly do think that he still respects not eating red meat during lent for the reason that it's so ingrained into his brain that doing that is bad.

I can see him letting Gaby eat whatever, especially her being a child and children being excused (at least that's my knowledge; children, the elderly, and those sick/injured are excused), if she wishes to eat red meat but like you said, I imagine he finds himself cooking meals without red meat because again, it's ingrained into his mind that eating red meat is disrespectful. Also, the fact that he lives in a New York that's heavily influenced by Latin culture - I feel like that also influences him and leads him to opt out from eating red meat.

But I don't know, that's my idea as of right now! It's certainly so so interesting to think about and I like how I have a favorite character that I can think about in these contexts that are familiar to me (and to so many other fans). I really hope that we get to see much more about Miguel's backstory in BTSV regarding these little things because I certainly find it intriguing. I think it'd add another layer to his character, too! I just really want more Miguel content, let's be real 😭 but yeah those are my thoughts on it! I'm sorry for how long this turned out!!

I love this story so much I had to draw my MC(Since I can't draw to save my live I used AI and I wasn't disappointed) and give his backstory. Semyon "Simon" Viktorovich Draken. As young boy he was happy as can be being raised by his father Viktor, uncle Luka and aunt Cara who he considered to be his mother as his biological mother couldn't be bothered by his existence alongside his best friend Ash and occasional visits to his grandparents in New York City. (I'm going to skip ahead to the good stuff since we already know what's what) After the murder of his father Simon's heart grew cold and the light in his eyes turned to night and his small body filled with rage, no rage isn't the proper word WRATH that to his credit he hid very well so well no could tell he had any emotion at all except from those that knew him well they could see some short of metamorphosis had taken place in his soul. Although Simon still had five family members left the love they give him wasn't enough to fill the void left after his father's passing and at that he felt guilty at and at the fact he was to weak to save his father this was amplified after aunt Cara was murdered and he vowed to become stronger and take over the family business one day not only to protect those he loves but to kill those he hates. He scares his Grandpa at how good he'll be at running the family.

Poltergeist, calling this Simon's alter ego would be a gross understatement he is Simon's Wrath and the evil in his heart personified. Where Simon is cool, calm and collected Poltergeist is a Nightmare creature on meth, where Simon kills someone smoothly Poltergeist leaves them a unidentifiable smear on the sidewalk(only the bad guys of course) and when he finds the man with distorted voice he'll be less than a smear on the sidewalk. Poltergeist may help people sometimes in honor of his father but he is no hero infact he hates them cause they're all fame hungry attention whores and if he met one he'd probably knock them out and break their nose. No, Poltergeist is not a hero at all he's just monster that devours smaller weaker monsters.

my absolute favorites besides the innovades (trinities included) are neil and chris! i did draw neil a few more times than anyone else thats not an innovade, and sadly only drew chris once for her bday 😭 IVE REALLY GOT TO DRAW HER MORE shes so cute and fun to draw..

my opinions of neil were very rocky at the start and i didnt like him AND IT WASNT EVEN HIS FAULT 😭 i first played dwg3 before watching anything gundam related at all (and then started by watching 00); i didnt know which lockon stratos was in dwg3 but he was kind of annoying to me </3 and because i couldnt tell them apart i just supposed it was neil and hereby disliked him 😭 well . that one was lyle but i found that out later ... thruout s1 i slowly got to like neil more and more and by s1 finale i was absolutely crushed . my opinions on tieria may also be foreverchanging, but one thing we share for sure is that we hated neil till he died then just didnt anymore </3

chris i liked a lot from the beginning because of how easygoing and nice she was with everyone, and in more ways than one she reminded me of myself 🥺 i also dont really see very often characters that like coding or technical stuff & are extroverted & like fashion so this felt like a win for me.. finally... some representation (real). this all and her whole thing with weekly crushes is so 😭😭 when she first saw johann and got a pic with him IMMEDIATELY and thought he was hot n then got sad that he was evil and fucked up was so me 🙏 so with how much chris meant to me & how they basically replaced her with mileina that i do not like for variety of reasons was my personal 9/11 for this anime

now besides these two i also hold quite literally majority of all characters in high regard. i love patrick a lot for being funniest guy around & kati his not bayonetta badass wife ... i dont usually do shipping but theyre really so cute together i always go 🥺🥺🥺 when they were just happy together. saji and louise too !!!! the whole story with how their relationship changed and evolved was so great and i was hooked. marie is absolutely one of my favorites in terms of backstory & the peak of s2 to me (yes ... despite the innovators because i didnt like a lot of handling of them 😭) — i really didnt care all that much about soma in s1 and then they elevated that so hard in s2. i am not a person that holds family things in high regard due to my own personal bad experiences, but besides her backstory with allelujah, the scenes between her and becoming smirnov's family were always so dear to me whenever we got them 🥺 this was also really just from a little side thing of the extra s2 chibi animation, but that scenario of them all taking a trip to heaven and marie making andrei talk to his parents and them getting all together was so sweet as well i love loved that one ...

despite it all, i also truly believe graham is best boy of the entire 00 series. this guys so peak i dont even know where to begin; the bond between him and his other squadron members was so good. it was a real shame they kind of had to go 😭 his love for the flags was also so real... and this guys VERY good at what hes doing, like my guy could fight off whole gundams with gn drives in some far underdeveloped flags. i know some people didnt like the turn they went for with him in s2 where he became weeb supreme but i thought it was so funny 🙏 MR BUSHIDO LOVE. he also got a super cool custom ms so i gotta give it to him ... all & all as well, this guy then sacrificed himself, died a hero, and was so cool he just came back to life to become a new meister. how can any other guy in this beat THAT ☝️

for the rest of meisters, i am sorry everyone. i did not care about setsuna that much </3 i acknowledge him and his greatness and how much hes helped multiple people here, but whenever they just wanted to mirror setsuna and saji i always ended up being more interested in saji im sorry 😭 ; allelujah is a little guy i just felt sorry for the entire time for literally everything . all the way from the start from the debacle with tieria that was so crazy to the hallelujah struggles to then having to also struggle with soma 😭 this guys just the real struggler. the supreme struggler of all time. i hope he gets some rest he really needs it asap ; lyle i used to not like because of . how he even started off in the scene with feldt </3 AND I LOVE FELDT like get ur hands off her omg ... but he did grow from then and i think hes pretty epic now, him killing off ali was also super satisfying in the end of it all :)

for the rest of ptolemy, talked briefly about feldt above, i think shes great but also her changing crushes between meisters was so funny 😭 like you go girlie i guess ... ! she tried her best . her holding the crew in such high regards as her own family was very wholesome 🥺 LICHTY 😭 lichty was so funny too and. well. LIKE I GET IT i get the drama that went down in s1 but i wish it didnt have to end like that skllwmegj😭😭😭😭 i wish theyd just have a near death experience and then him and chris could just get to be happy together after but i guess not 😔 sumeragi & kati's intertwined backstories we got to know more of thru s2 were really cool to see, and billy's love for her punched me and kicked me into a wall. this man loved her SO much its unreal . hes such a good guy 😭 (which it kind of ticks me off he ended up with mina ........... hello hello! i do remember that post! i’d be happy to do it for my little idiots (sap and george). i went on dreams post and just grabbed the tools i spoke about there!

I’m gonna split it into a george section and a sap section so it doesn’t get confusing!

Sapnap

Feathers: okay I think that sap would react super well to feathers. he’s a lil tough strong guy who’s angy but run a feather across his lower tummy and he’s a goner. he absolutely can’t handle the light tks, so feathers just completely take him apart. dream and george always tease him for that, bc feathers work pretty much anywhere they use them on sap. but tummy is definitely one of the main target areas for their feathers bc of how hard sap laughs and how much he squirms 🥺 especially his lower tummy and the sides of his tummy!!! he can’t handle it!

Art Supplies: meaning paint brushes, markers, that kinda stuff. i think paint brushes would also wreck sap there, because you can be as gentle with a paint brush as you can be with a feather. i think it needs to be a smaller brush though, one with soft bristles. if it’s rough, he kind of just whines and squirms. but with the smaller soft paint brush? he’s giggling his little head off! and don’t get me started on markers. sap gets held down by the other two and they just take turns drawing little shapes around his tummy, always making lil circles around the little dip in the center. it always makes sap squeal, no matter what

Electric Toothbrush: okay these KILL sap, but it’s not the worst thing he’s felt on his tummy. i think this would be more effective somewhere else like under his arms, his upper ribs, and his ankles and feet. but i do still think that an electric toothbrush on the edges on his bellybutton or on his lower tummy would make him scream out with lil kickies ):

George

Feathers: I think george is super feather sensitive, but i think feathers on his tummy would only have a big reaction if it’s the opposite end, the harder part at the end of the feather. I think for george’s tummy, it would need to be traced around his skin as if it was someone’s nails. i think the soft part would maybe produce a giggle or two, but it would be more of relaxing tk than anything. definitely the harder part at the opposite end if you’re trying to make george cackle. specifically the part of his lower tummy by his hips, and on either side of his bellybutton 😵‍💫

Art Supplies: okay I think paintbrushes are more of george’s jam. they would get him so good, especially more medium stiffness brushes. i think for tummy tks, in order to get george really going are a little rougher tks - like pokes, squeezing and kneading. but sharper soft things like nails or brushes also can get him giggling up a storm too! especially if paint was brought into play? it would be cold and he would whine about how cold it was, and dream and sap would tease him which would make him more embarrassed and it would just turn into a cycle of them painting, teasing, and getting yelled at by george through his cackles. same with markers - they’d just tease him and write dumb things all over his tummy (like the word “tklish”, or pointing to certain spots and writing “tk here to make me squeal!” and things like that 🫠)

Electric Toothbrush: okay i think this would kill george on his tummy. the lower tummy between his hips, george would be in hysterics. and up the sides of his tummy???? oh my gosh my poor baby ): and don’t even get me started on the sides of his bellybutton! george would be in absolute shambles, tears falling and legs thrashing as dream held his arms down and teased him to bits. all while sapnap ran the brush around the sensitive spots on his tummy 😖

gonna put this under a read more because honestly this got so long and i do not know how that happened i am so sorry?????? omg

i absolutely don’t mind!! to be honest, my art process is SO chaotic and unorganized, which is a direct reflection of my brain, lol. sometimes i get ideas and i’ll be drawing them in the same day, and other times what i post is an idea that i’ve had cooking in my noggin for awhile and finally managed to draw it (although it seems like the ones that i draw immediately when they come to mind perform a lot better, so maybe there’s something to be said about not overthinking an idea and just draw it pfff) just as an example, these ones are ideas i drew in the same day, whereas this one was Marinating in my noggin for awhile

i’m also a HUGE perfectionist, to the point where me tweaking and overcorrecting is a majority of my time spent on my art, lol. like i’ll be 90% of the way finished with an art piece, find something i suddenly Hate and then i redraw that entire thing. and then usually i end up realizing that i was just imagining things from staring at my own art for too long and then change it back to how it was originally LOLOL (i do this almost every time) that being said, i feel like i’m a pretty slow artist bc of that which is something i’m trying to work on!! sometimes i’ll even finish something, hate how it looks and start it completely from scratch lol

i do tend to switch sometimes! i have crazy adhd so i’m usually Super Focused on whatever i’m currently working on, but if i’m not liking how it’s turning out, i’ll start a new idea and come back to that one later (maybe) (i have so many unfinished jily wips) (help me)

(most of my jily wips are wips because most of my ideas are definitely suited better for writing and i have not written a fanfic since i was 14 and writing fanfiction for victorious and icarly)

Not saying Maeve isn’t a vile and awful monster - who needs to be dealt with - but as far as the two of them go, Erawan is the bigger threat to their lives and the planet as a whole. Maeve can kinda just chill on a continent across the sea and rule as if she’s a fae queen and be on her own for a thousand years.

Oh boy her design? Let's say she really grew into it. Like the earliest art of her I have is sso ugly I'm sorry Grande but I did not have a handle on that thang. She had such Pug vibes. I think this'll be an interesting post?

This is the beginning of it all. Unfortunately I don't have a super insightful answer to how I came up wi her, bc the Og* angels were literally me going HeeHoo with a pencil. (*Certain specific angels I designed in relative succession to each other before I had a handle on how I want to design angels. The so called Ogs are Lamera, ZZZ, J'aimekiel, Grandefel, Kxxxtr, Ngah and Combfa. Everyone after this was designed a notable amount of time later and with much more "process" to them)

I have some thoughts but it's fuzzy and vague? Okay. So I thought I should definitely do one lion (esque?) at least bc *points at old religious art of angels* and they just have those Vibes to me, ykno? I associate angels with certain things that I try to employ in the story's characters (to an extent). Grandefels vibes were.. Guardian, maybe a tad like a sphynx, just ykno, a huge feline statue like entity who guards something and is like a scary immovable force ig? I wanted some ethereal aspects to it, and lots of teeth (hers aren't visible here but the whole underside of her body opens up to a huge ass mouth with teeth everywhere). Now, initially I was gonna have her hair be lilac but turn bright blue in some situations but I WAAAY preferred the blue on her. She's supposed to have Blue flames mixed with galaxy vibes. Like if blue flames were a puddle and that puddle was a lion's mane. And it was all. Cool and semi-physical

Onto how her design adjusted overtime.

I think most firstly I stopped drawing the grooves on her body that would open up to reveal the Teeth, I mean I do still allude to them vaguely but I figured the way I was doing it at first looked kinda.. Eugh? Another thing I quickly started changing was her hair texture. Originally I wanted it to be completely straight and smooth and flowing but it looked way more interesting and more galaxy esque with it being bubbly and cloudy. I guess my initial thought was that I wanted it to look like it was flowing out of her head? Like some water?

(This anthro drawing also demonstrates the way I nowadays moreso "allude" to her hidden mouth but the anthro version here isn't too close to Canon otherwise since I gave her face an actual normal mouth too lol)

Oh yes, and the crown is another major change!

I think my first notable adjustment was made here (note also the flowy hair). If gotten an amino commission (No money, just amino coins lol) of her and really liked the way the artist drew her crown so I took after that and started slowly changing it. It took me a while to be satisfied with, though. In the very beta version, it was supposed to be like a ring/circle. If you look at the older drawings up there, you can see that one horn is meant to be drawn on the "front" and the other behind. It's like if you looked at her from straight up, you'd see the three dimensionality of it, being more like an actual halo instead of one solid headgarment. I do still really like this idea, however I just think it looks better as it is now. I also had a fair bit of finagling with the side horns, frankly I always found them ugly so I'm finally happy with how they look (just realising I haven't drawn her in a bit, so, the anthro pic is the most accurate to her current design if we ignore the uh.. Anthro-ness lol)

One more thing! You don't see her halo too often in these, but it's intended to be drawn tilted. It's not straight (just like her), and tilts a bit down on one side. In universe this is kinda viewed as an imperfection and she used to be ashamed of it. The irl explanation for it was that it couldn't fit straight between the horns, with the way I'd formed the crown, and so I kept it that her halo just is that way! It fits oddly between her crown and I think that's neat!

Apparently on that last picture I decided to draw the halo straight, though? Cringe... :/

Those are two different asks, but I feel like they are kind of connected because in my head to Jade testing out kinks and using someone as a lab rat are pretty much the same thing lol And to answer both of them: YES, Jade would absolutely do that if he had an opportunity. I guess the second option is more possible because it seems less dangerous, and I wanted to say that it would come first, but…. Honestly? With Jade it could go either way.

I picked up this Dollzone Mo for pretty cheap because he was VERY old and yellowed (made in 2010 so he's very old!!) And the more that i thought about the direction I wanted to go with him, the more I realized I really wanted to reshell (basically same oc but in a different doll sculpt) one of my old dolls that i got rid of years ago. I had sent the original doll off to get his faceup done by a friend but had unfortunately deleted all the pics of this doll so all I had to go off was memory and not a muscle memory of doing the faceups years ago or pictures. He's not the same sculpt but he has a lot of the same features, ie the pouty lips, nose, and eye shape so I was pretty happy that when I got him yesterday, I could FEEL that it was gonna be the right doll to reshell Theo (old dolls name) into. The faceup was definitely a more complicated matter as Theo had a very natural looking faceup which um. Not my strong suit, I love doing big dramatic makeup but I was trying to recapture the same vibes i had from my old doll. With how yellowed he was, I also had to work with that when I was blushing as to not make the head TOO yellow or red. Thankfully I work on yellowed resin a lot so I was moderately confident that I'd be ok.

I did something a TINY bit different than my normal order of how I do a faceup and moved right onto acrylics. He has freckles all over his face so I figured doing them very early on would make it look the most natural under any other makeup I was doing. I used a toothbrush, dipped it in a warm brown-orange paint, and flicked it all over the face, cleaning up with a wet and dry q tip, purposefully leaving behind spots of pigmentation on the skin as it's something that I have under my freckles so I wanted to give Theo that too. While I was at it, I used a cool toned brown pretty close to the skin tone to add a bit of an eyeliner (in the way that it'll actually pop a bit with the eyes in place versus looking unfinished) and a waterline using a peachy pink color.

The freckles do NOT photograph super well but they look really good so I'm happy with how they turned out! I then return to the pastels to add more face shading and start on his eyebrows

The eyebrows were VERY hard to do and very scary. 1. I'm VERY bad at eyebrow symmetry. 2. The pastels weren't working so i had to only use a pencil (which I've done w a few faceups now but it was very scary). It was overall very frightening but I think I'm definitely getting a bit better at eyebrows in general :) lip blushing was started which I'll probably do a few more coats of pastel on them and then draw the lines on and be done. Really outside of that I'm nearly done :) natural faceups are a bit easier but they just are NOT what I'm used to so it's a bit of a learning curve to get it looking like a human face instead of whatever silly vibes I'm going for if I'm doing a more dramatic look

The sealant is wet here (forgot to take a pic before i sealed lol) but i just did small little darkening in some areas, I think my next coat will be adding some more shadows to the eyes and lips then I'll be done 👍)

I added some lashes as well as darkening the eyeliner and adding lip lines (hard to see in the pic but they're there 👍) and added some shadows but I finished minus the gloss! For how small he is and how I haven't done a natural faceup in 2 years, I'm pretty happy with it!

And one rq pic of him with an eye in :) I'm really happy with it and I'll have to make him a wig soonish but I'm really glad to have done my own faceup for this doll 👍
