hello! first of all very sorry for the late reply to this, and i'd like to say thank you for the compliment!! it really means a lot to me that so many people love my work! 😭😭😭

i do feel VERY terribly about going on hiatus/being inactive. believe me!! i have loved running this blog so much and it saddens me that life has gotten in the way of that for me. my motivation for creativity has been murdered significantly by working, but...

i got into a new game series almost 3 months ago that has been making me feel motivated to create again. i've been sitting and drawing for the first time in a WHILE! and writing even more.

i really really want to come back to this blog and tend to it consistently again, and the release of tokyo ghoul has me so very excited!! i've never watched or read it, but i fell in love with kaneki when the PTB was put out. as of writing this response, i haven't played him yet, but plan to! i did buy the masks that were released (all for my favorite boys!...and thing! which made me very happy) and i'd probably like to buy kaneki's launch skin when/if i pick up playing him. his face model is so pretty :-)

hi!! happy valentine's day!!! me and my fiance WERE gonna go out to our favorite diner but it snowed about a metric fuckton yesterday (and probably overnight...haven't checked yet, but i'll be leaving for work soon so i'll get to see the damage lol) and his little silver shitbox does NOT handle snow well, so we'll probably be staying home instead. which i'm fine with! hopefully i have the stuff to cook something for us :-)

hopefully everyone else has a nice valentine's day too!! whether it's with an IRL loved one or a fictional one 💕💕💕

hi everyone!!! i know i've been quiet lately but i have something exciting to share! well, it's exciting for me, anyways, i'm not really sure how many of you all will be interested -- but anyways...

i uploaded my first full-length video with commentary today!! it's a very casual video and nothing extremely special, i wanted to just test things out. there's some bugs with the audio for the first few minutes but other than that i'm super happy with how it ended up! i really had fun recording a match.

as mentioned, this was just to test things out. i have something very fun and special planned for bone chill, a series of videos like this one! it's my favorite event (and will be my 2nd year anniversary of playing) so i want to do something special for it. i hope everyone who watches enjoys!

happy haunted by daylight, everyone! i'm here to show off my girls, i really like these skins and have wanted to buy haddie's ever since it released. so happy to have it now!! ❤️❤️ and the event has been fun so far! i only played about 5 or so matches but i had fun last year and enjoy the tweaks they made to the event.

HIIII i'm so sorry i haven't had the time to get back to you! the last couple of days have been terribly busy for me but i have some time before work today 😭

so first of all i would just like to thank everyone for being so patient with me! i really appreciate the continued support even though i'm incredibly slow, and especially now that i have a job and it takes a lot out of me. it means a lot that so many people love what i do in my free time!!

i can't promise anything but i would LOVE to finish them before the month is half over. october is my favorite month! only partially because it's my birth month...lol. but yes my hope is to have them open again this month!! i would really love to celebrate my favorite month with my little community i've made! 🫶🫶

GUYS!!!! i just finished TCoFS. oh my god. i am so deeply in love with this freaking game. like holy shit. it is AMAZING like just. oh my god i was completely losing my mind at the end. i got everyone killed on accident since i played completely blind...but i still had a great time!!

i shan't post spoilers, but it was just...AAAHHHH i absolutely loved it, all the little details, the beautiful graphics and soundtrack, the writing. insane. all of it!

and of course...i have eyes for a certain very special freak 👀 (anyone who's finished the game/has seen spoilers will Know lol)

SO! i just got off of work, but i played some TCoFS earlier (up to chapter 4 iirc) before i went in. my little brother sat and watched me play and we had a lot of fun.

i am SO absolutely in love with it so far!! the creators at supermassive have once again proven they are all insanely, incredibly talented. the graphics are gorgeous and there's so many beautiful shots. all the little references to DBD are so much fun, down to them using the same sound effect for picking up items. and the QTEs being skill checks just absolutely delighted me, i think that is SUCH a fun way to implement that aspect of the game!

sam is my little meow meow 🥺❤️ his pre-order alt skin in the prologue cracked me up...he's a very sweet guy, i'm excited to get to see more of him!! and to play more of the game obviously, which i will on the day after tomorrow, my first day off this week 🫶

i am actually SO obsessed with the castlevania chapter!! release day, i bought the whole chapter and alucard, and i want to buy the leon belmont cosplay skin for trevor as well! i would've on release day but i was already low on funds from my last paycheck lol...but yeah i'm obsessed. and the funny part is i've never even played a castlevania or ever had that much of an interest in them, my fiance did have me watch some of the anime prior to release, but other than that, nothing. i just thought trevor and alucard's models were so pretty i just HAD to have them (i play alucard the most!)

and i have ALSO been deeply entrenched in the outlast trials for the last month and a half. like, to give you perspective, i'm almost at the same level as my fiance, who's been playing it since the full release 5 months ago. so yeah. i'm in deep. the new prime asset just caught my eye and got me more interested in the game, terrible little fella but he's the sort of character i just find interesting! and the game is fun, it can be frustrating at times but it's nothing a seasoned DBD veteran like me can't handle LOL

ohh i've heard good things about pathologic! every time i see something about it i remember i'm interested in it, i should check it out soon :-) and my new job is going great! my coworkers and bosses are all very nice, i feel very welcome, and i actually enjoy working there. thanks for asking! i hope life has been treating you kindly ❤️

hello everyone!!! i finished my killer skin entry for unknown just now before work, i really wanted to post it, so here it is 🥺❤️ i am incredibly proud of how it turned out and super happy with it, i really hope i can at least get into the finals, but it's okay if i don't! i had fun regardless. i hope you all love my design as much as i do!! :-))

under the cut are my original concept sketches and details about the design and my process! 🫶

so here's my page! my main inspiration was my favorite slasher, jason voorhees. my original ideas, before i even sat down to concept, were a lot more like him! but i decided a lighter inspiration would suit the design best.

as you can tell, the body changed quite a lot from my concept art -- i actually decided pretty late into drawing the final design to axe the overalls. although i found them charming and unique, i didn't really like how they looked with everything else, so i gave them a baggy pair of jeans instead.

their belt also changed heavily! i moved the skull with the tongue to the middle, with the frog and catfish on either side. i made them fully intact over skeletons because i thought it would add little more intrigue and detail to the design. i imagine that they just stumbled upon the dead animals and decided to take the poor creatures with them.

their necklace is meant to be alligator AND human teeth, the original necklace was taken from an alligator poacher (along with everything else they're wearing, of course). they were intrigued by such a novel idea, and took the poacher's teeth before killing him.
