Just realized the only "humans" during the sahara v concorp thing was scar and grian, the only non restoners of the 5 4 so how did it look/work back then?

Going back and re-writing hermitcraft history isn't something I've done a whole lot of for this au, but it's definitely really interesting to think about!

I also made this a season 8 au because that's when I started watching Hermitcraft, so it's the season I'm most knowledgeable about--this also means that I'm really not very deeply knowledgeable at all regarding previous seasons, other than their primary plots and themes/important figures. So in short, I don't have a great answer for that (and i get this question a lot about various things, so i figured i'd go ahead and respond to one hehe) But!! It's definitely one of those things that would be fun to sit down and puzzle out one day :] It's kinda how rel and I started puzzling out and re-writing 3rd life for this au afterall :D

Knowing that the server member count was basically halved for a lot of hermitcraft history really makes it feel like it's been a lot smaller of a family/community, which is honestly very interesting (and you'll have to pardon my xisuma brainrot, but thinking about it this way also makes me realize that going from a server with 10-12 ish members to a suddenly whopping 25 ish could have definitely added to Xisuma's stresses coming out of s8 and going into s9)!

I swear I saw somewhere on here someone talking about how much hermitcraft has grown and changed and the growth of Mumbo and the before/after of grian joining the server but I can't find it so I'll do it for myself.

Basically during the before Grian hermitcraft (keep in mind I only started watching in s7 because YouTube recommended the last episode of Grian's season 6 so this may be wrong) but during this time (s5 and before) hermitcraft was moreso a server full of different people doing their own thing away from everyone else and only a few collabs and server wide events were more rare. The hermits felt more like coworkers than friends.

After Grian joined hermitcraft started to change, more server wide events, the hermits start hanging out with eachother more, someone is always in the background of another's video. Part of this is also the change in style, Hermitcraft was trying something different with how they divided up the map and were making eachother live closer during s6. If you watch evo from grian's perspective you can see how he's very isolatey, same with Mumbo before grian joined hermitcraft.

Mumbo is my best example for this change. Before Grian joined Mumbo was more isolated and focused on doing things alone mainly (from what I know) and stayed more in his base. After Grian joined Mumbo very slowly started getting more out there in terms of how he interacted with the others. During s6 he mainly interacted with Grian and later in the season Iskall, barely coming around more for the war. During s7 he stays around Grian and Iskall, not really coming towards the whole server until Mumbo for Mayor. During s8 he has all of Boatem and interacts with Scar and Grian and Gem (a little bit) and he's a bit more out there. I won't count s9 since he was barely in it. But during the life series he definitely picked bigger groups than he's normally shown in. And now in s10 we have him talking a lot with Iskall and occasionally Ren and actually getting into the whole server wide events stuff.

Of course this could be attributed to any hermit but Mumbo's is the most obvious (as far as I'm aware) because he was more isolatey than most hermits even before Grian came around.

leaping and hopping on a moonshadow by @lunarblazes - a fantasy au by luna my beloved! pearl suddenly gains magical powers and goes on a quest to find her long-lost friend grian who might know what's happening to her. she meets a lot of familiar faces along the way!

Recall by @redwinterroses - hey, i was the artist for this one! :D mumbo goes missing, so grian and scar search for him. they find that grumbot has been up to some... things along the way. the fic isn't finished but i think the chapters red put out is worth a read if you don't mind leaving off on a cliffhanger because it really is super interesting

dramaturgy by wormcity - a universe where gem and pearl join in a season 7 that was never finished. mumbo became the mayor, but the turf war went so very wrong afterwards. admittedly i have not finished reading this yet because ummm short on time xD but it's super interesting with a lot of layers of drama(turgy hahaha)!

the wheels on the bus by sparxwrites - a hilarious post-s8 oneshot about grian being a little shit towards the watchers. one of the first fics i've read from this fandom and i still love it

a body is an object by ruffboi - grian is a mimic, and pearl's arrival in s8 shakes him up. she hasn't seen him in a while and is quite upset to learn that the grian she knew died a long time ago. a great read for familial connections and conflict of friendships!

Goatman and the Rift by TheDepressedCanary - doc's eldritch powers start acting up when the rift appears. what shenanigans will ensue?

other mcyt fics/crossovers:

late at night, when the stars don't look quite right by @lunarblazes - an excellent empires s1 and hermitcraft crossover longfic, where grian lands into the server and is discovered by pearl! very great worldbuilding and relationships, i especially love the dynamic between gri and pearl and pearl and gem :D

every new discovery is just a reminder by amaranthinecanicular - grian begins pulling alternate versions of the hermits from the life series into the server. he does save a lot of them, but at what cost? it does end on a cliffhanger but this is genuinely one of the most captivating oneshots i've ever read... argghhh

The Fair and the Brave and the Good by @slashmagpie - an afterlife smp longfic centered around the shelby, scott, and sausage. i have never watched afterlife smp before in my LIFE and this is still one of my favorite pieces of literature ever. the characters and worldbuilding is impeccable and perfect if you like something dark with themes of hope and renewal.

Two Can Keep a Secret (If One of Them is Red) by anonymous secretmcblog - a 3L oneshot! ren suspects grian has stockholm syndrome with his pact to stay with scar, but his expectations are wrong. a truly excellent read and one of them first fics i've read! i still go back to reread it from time to time

dog at the door by fluffy_papaya & iamsolarflare - a longfic where doc and ren take a trip on a van on their way to s8. ren, however, is not quite himself, and doc has to learn to befriend the red king.

devil town is colder in the summertime by @bananasofthorns - a oneshot from a 100hsmp/life series d&d au! team BEST ventures into a cursed evil fucked up forest. uh oh.

Interview with the Aftermath by @ranchersrevenge (wanderlasts) - the last life contestants are invited for an interview. the responses vary greatly.

stars, smoke, and stolen car keys by wormcity - a 100hsmp modern au oneshot where grian, scar, and joel go on a hike. it doesn't go quite as they expected.

the beehive state by amaranthinecanicular - a dsmp oneshot after wilbur moves to utah. tommy visits him, and the two reconnect. i have to say i stopped following dsmp a long time ago but this fic made me BAWL. i don't even think you need to know any of the characters that well to really enjoy just how amazing the writing itself is

Can't Go Back (This Time) by @duckmumbo (musicaltvbooks) - soup group goes end raiding and accientally finds themselves in afterlife smp. nothing goes wrong, surely! also admittedly i havent finished reading this either but roy i swear i will. this is a great read nevertheless and the soup group dynamic is impeccable!

TommyInnit's unbeatable method of avoiding sudden death by eneliii - on the train of dsmp fics, this is the superhero au longfic that inspired my own hc superhero au, vdhau. it's a lot of funny shenanigans with tommy and his friends. the fic does take a dark turn at the end, but that can be skipped entirely (as said by eneli herself) if you just want the wholesome aspects.

if you don't mind a little self promo, here are some of my fics!

it takes two to play (the game of mutual secrecy) - the aforementioned hermitcraft hero au. this installment is centered around xisuma and evil x as brothers resolving their issues through hero work and solving the mystery of welsknight's disappearance :D there are other works that are set in the same universe if you're interested for more!

how to form the ultimate besties dynamic: an unreliable tutorial by hypnotizd - a oneshot! hypno is a warlock who goes treasure hunting under the sea. he meets a guardian who later becomes his unlikely friend.

smoke and mirrors, the hunt perseveres - grian's arrival in empires s2 unwittingly brings the watchers' suspicions with him. cue jimmy freaking out and a lot of shenanigans.

ballad of etho’s lab - my newest installment! a oneshot about etho's storied life as the redstone god.

i'm also currently working on the sequel to the game of mutual secrecy and a new (well not exactly new since i made concept art for it) au called private detective gem tasey! these will likely be released sometime late january or february. have fun with these fic recs! i haven't been reading as much lately but i hope ill be able to find more if anyone else asks in the future. cheers!

Seeing that we started season 10 with a demise rerun and are getting a lot of references to older seasons, here a small list of thing I would love to see again this season:

1- Hermit base swap

That was so fun on s7 and id love to see it again, especially with the smaller scale hermits want to take their bases this time the swap changes would be even more noticable.

2- Server wide civil war:

Of course asking for ALL hermits to participate would not be realistic, especially taking acount of some lore-phobic tendencies some of them have (like zed, that simply ignored the whole moon thing on s8) but a big prank war like in s6 would be a lot of fun!

3- More apparances of hermits alter egos

I quite like how some hermits have fun alter egos like EX, Worm Man, Helsknight, Poultry Man, Ariana Griande and others and i would love to see more of them! Maybe even some new ones????

4- HERMITCHALLANGES!!

Loved them in s7 and nos with even more hermits and them all being so close together those would be even more fun.

5- Grumbot

Please bring my little terryfing boy back. We love him and Mumbo loves him, grian too tho hes a bit scared after Gb prime. But he deserves to live againg.

I am really enjoying this season and these things would be very fun to see. If you have anything else you would like to see please tell me in the tags!! Im very curious about what people teally liked from past seasons, especially people that have watched from longer then me (i started in s6)

sometimes I think about how random and thus insanely cool our fav duo/trios formed. like

scar/grian/mumbo. you can't even really pinpoint the moment they became The trio. the mumscarian agenda. mumbo just picked up that random fresh-out-of-problematic-highschool-series creatieve mode Player out of NOWHERE and became besties with him, later seeing him join hermitcraft and change the server forever

scar and grian had almost no interactions up to the build off in s6. then the magic of s7 happened. newfound besties.

then s8 happened and well. found family doesn't spare Anyone. and it's like- sure scar and grian got closer in s9 when mumbo wasn't that active but then the reunion happened (that one mumbo video. OHHH that one mumbo video) where you don't even QUESTION that yes. they are THE trio of best buds

but then we dig deeper. rendoc???? (btw yes um using ship names as a placeholder) been on the same server for YEARS had some chemistry chemistry s5 and that one hippie/area77 storyline but then almost out of nowhere BOOM the most iconic duo of s8 and onwards. like. I'm not stupid it's all in the behind the scenes and becoming friends that lead to such iconic videos BUT LIKE.

can I talk about ethubs. I'll admit I didn't watch mindcrack in full I have no idea what went down there but every time I Watch early mindcrack/ooge/etc clips I'm like "OK this shouldn't have worked. but why it do. WHY IT DO"

xb and keralis. if they were separate content creators that never interacted you would never in a billion years guess they would click. but knowing what we do in that universe of ours, I will argue they're one of the most iconic duos.

impulse gem and pearl. the soup group. once again the s9 magic happened. it was an rng roll that put those 3 together in the first episode. and it worked SO WELL and I STILL can't really put into words why

giggs. I don't think anyone would ever argue with me abiut how iconic they are. but thinking about how I remember the first ever gigs streams before they even adopted the fandom "gigs" name. I kid you not grian&scar interacted with skizz like thrice before that. and yet they clicked INSTANTLY. I think it's the power of getting to know "new" people (I would argue even grimpulse didn't Know each other that well before phasmo. I know. the 4 pre-s9 gripulse enjoyers put down your forks) with your besties by your side. imp&skizz and desert duo get bonded over the horror game yeah tell THAT to a pre gigs fan. and YET. (also the way gem is so awesome she fit RIGHT IN. ANF I WOYLD ARGUE BY PURE CHANCE TOO. she was one of those "teaching _how to play phasmo" one off guests. but she was so awesome she stayed)

jimmy and tango. it is truly a mystery to me specifically. the only thing I woyld say was the string connecting them before dl was the silliness meter. period. but then again 2 different worlds that collided so hard the universe exploded. if the plate up streams have a say in this

boat boys. when the first dl episodes came out I didn't even Regester their duo (maybe it was because I didn't really watxh etho and deffenetely haven't watched joel before that). now tell me why their soulmate pair is THE most iconic duo for me in dl huh. and how smoothly it went on. etho and Joel. THINK ABOUT BOAT BOYS PRE DL. YEAH? YEAH. NEVER IN A BILLION YEARS WOULD I THINK. double life literally changed this fandom forever

honorable mentions: cleo and scar (+ bdubs) I can't recall a Single interaction of them pre s9 and pre limited life clockers. but BOY am I glad we have them now.

skizz and tango specifically in the whole zits polucule (/j). those 2 in particular are the funniest duo to ever duo. and s10 stapled and glued and sawn this into truition. also once again shout out to the plate up streams

Any suggestions where to start with all that? Because that is a cultural phenomena that just passed right by me. I know it exists, theoretically, and that's it.

Listen, it almost passed right by me, too, except that 2 years ago (almost to date) a friend posted about wild shit going down in the s8 finale and that intrigued me, lonely while my wife was out of town spending xmas with her family, enough to check it out.

SO. As a relative newbie, my best suggestion is honestly what got me into it.

Grian's Season 8 playlist.

Technically speaking I watched Pearlescentmoon's season 8 first, discovered Grian via her videos, since they based near each other, discovered a series Grian started called 3rd Life around the same time, binged both, and was eternally hooked. But you can shortcut to Grian directly if you want.

I do recommend season 8 to start, because while it was a bit unique as far as hermitcraft seasons go, it was also extremely short, which means it's a good starting place for getting to know the server and the hermits and figuring out who you most enjoy. Plus season 8 was the first one they had proximity voice chat in-game, rather than having to coordinate into a discord call if they wanted to speak, and that impacted the interactions between the hermits in a huge (and positive) way.

Really anyone from s8 is a good choice. Pick one, start watching, see who they interact with that interest you, go watch them, rinse repeat ad nauseam.

The nice thing is that starting in s8 (or any season) does not hinder you in any way. You do not need to watch every season. I would wager a lot of folks haven't watched the earliest seasons. Each season is just "fresh start on a new minecraft seed", and what continuity there is generally is explained, because they know they pick up new viewers all the time.

I have also seen you post hermitcraft stuff. I was aware hermitcraft was to do with minecraft, so i googled it (i sound so old lol)

There is a LOT of stuff, and nothing i can easily find that explains it easily, but it looks awesome.

and so, this is a long winded way of saying: please can you tell me how to start watching hermitcraft stuff? like, is a good place to start at the very start or somewhere more recent? and do i need to watch every perspective or can i choose just a couple of people to watch it from? obviously absolutely no pressure to answer though, especially in case the response is super long!

DO NOT START FROM S1. there are ten seasons, the tenth being ongoing, and theyre 50-100 episodes, usually 20-40 minutes long for each hermit. DONT DO IT.

i personally accidentally started watching grians s7, but he joined in s6

as far as im concerned, they add new members every two seasons [and im only caught up on 6-10];

s6: grian [wiki says there was a cameo from someone named duke da dog???]

i personally would recommend finding a hermit from SEASON TEN that catches your interest; if youre into redstone, try NOT mumbo jumbo actually because this season hes going more buildy- instead, try zedaph or docm77

cleo and bdubs are really entertaining and have kind of the same editing style, if that makes sense? like their videos have the same vibe to me except for the fact that bdubs is a STELLAR builder

my favorite trio is scar, grian and mumbo, and a little bit of gem this season too; they are THE shenaniganizers. them <3

impulse and skizz are super close, joel has some sort of yaoi harem going on while hes trying to love his wife, pearl etho and tango are The Mailpeople, joe is joe, and idk what the rest of them are doing

@angelonasher is much more well-versed than i am in the ways of the other hermits since i focus mainly on mumbo, scar and grian 👍

I've quite literally never watched hermitcraft, or any of grians videos for that matter in my entire life but I came across a yandere grian x reader of yours (specifically the watcher grian one) and it was genuinely so good that I spent the last maybe 12 hours watching grians videos and trying to find out the lore, so thank you for that. I've never been so obsessed with a minecraft series before besides back when I was 10 and into aphmau.

I'm so sorry if this was long but I felt the need to thank you for convincing me, although unintentionally, to watch grians videos. I'm currently on the EVO smp series and I'm trying to figure out what to watch next after that. I watched a bunch of videos yesterday last night, and today the first thing I did when I woke up was turn on EVO smp.

Honestly, once I get more into the grian lore I might actually end up requesting a yandere grian x reader because your writing is just THAT good. Again, sorry this was so long, I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work!

To this day S7 remains to be my favourite season (It's the lore. S7 had my favourite storyline thus far) so that could be a good place to start after EVO if you feel like it. S8 is also a good place to start with it being a shorter season. Ultimately it's up to you anon,

haha wow i wonder guys. its grian. that sounds dumb when i talk about bdubs and etho all day every day and don't really talk about g as much but in terms of actual hermitcraft content i think grian or mumbo take the lead ... i've barely watched bdubs' hc stuff outside of season 5 and a bit of season 9 LMAO with grian i've watched at least a little bit of every season he's been in and i don't know if i can say that for any other hermit so. yeah. my original golden boy. i don't like him

7: favourite build?

the monstrosity has a special place in my heart but i also really love scar's s7 megabase, iskall and etho's shattered savannah base from s8, mumbo's heart base from s7 AND his waterfall build from s8.. hard to pick. monstrosity probably sweeps but i think that's less of it being a good build and more through some fucked up sense of "nostalgia".

11: favourite hermit to listen to?

etho and tango both have very different effects on me. etho soothes me and warms my heart but tango makes me start ripping up the carpet and biting wires and going WHY CAN'T I SOUND LIKE THAT!! literally the fucking. transgender dream. iskall is pretty cool too i liked having him in the bg when i watched him for s8... i miss him...

Thinking about the Uncle Squad for Xelqua thata Jimmy, Martyn, Scar, Joel, and Mumbo and all of them are needed to watch this kid if Grian isn't there.

Currently, as far as I've thought, Xelqua's ~uncles are Mumbo, Scar, and Pearl, I'm sure more--I just don't know everyone too well to say.. Xelqua has a positive relationship with a lot of hermits tho.

(silly fact, Xelqua assumes that Xisuma is Grian's uncle tho, hes Not, obviously, but Xelqua is assuming, weird kid thing.)

I'm not even sure if Martyn knows what happened to Grian, he knew Grian was with the Watchers, he saw him in 3rd life, probably again in a stray server while Grian was working, but I'm unsure what their final confrontation was, who knows ! Maybe Martyn was also able to clock Hermitcraft during s8, while all the chaos started buzzing, i don't know. Maybe I can squeeze in the charity stream where the honorary hermits got to visit the server lmao /j

I think if they did somehow meet, a fight would start--and then quickly stop bc Martyn would notice the kid, he'd be unsure if Grian kidnapped this kid or if its HIS, VERY CONFUSING MOMENT, and Xelqua would try to kill Martyn before Grian stops him.

Also in your tags you mentioned not having gotten into Hermitcraft much, and starting on s6

S6 is great but it's not one I recommend to people just getting into hemitcraft cause it's slower paced and very long. If you want to, you should check out s8! Grian and Tango's POVs are both really good, it has an amazing story (+lore!!) and is super short compared to the other seasons. I'm also really obsessed with it if you can't tell lol (has 2 gimmick blogs related to it)

Yeah ive only watched grian's pov for evo, but i can say that considering how martyn still does lore he'd probably be good to watch for the listener lore too

because there's really.... not an specific order of viewing? since most of the "proper" lore hasnt been that prominent¹ until around s8 for hermitcraft, when moon big happened, so if you wanted to, you would start from the very beginning with grian from when he joined hermitcraft on season 6 (or if you want to go further back, evolution smp, since thats where the concept of The Watchers came from. more on that later) or just jump in the latest season on hermitcraft and slowly chip in the life series, starting from 3rd life up to the now wild life, since, technically, things are connected in the way they are referenced from past seasons and some past alliances also have some weight on how things go down

and. well, while is true that really, the biggest part of hermitcraft is watching these minecraft ppl play minecraft together as friends, as who they are, after some flame wars here n there, at least here on tumblr the community (HOPEFULLY) has reached the understanding that the way they act in the server, the ways they build n overall the little details and also when Big things happen, is more akin to them being improv actors; where minecraft is the stage and the skins are the costumes (which is further proved by miss pearlescentmoon calling her double life character a wet cat. i love her) so most of what they do can be attributed to the character, the cubito, even if there Is a layer of their irl selves there. like i mean, what is an oc but a fragment of the self, if we get a lil poetic

so basically, to get into cubito grian lore or Any of the hermits n life series ppl (which i highly recommend), is to have fun and be yourself! 👍

...more so since a Lot of the lore sometimes is like. fully fan made or fan-made-then-made-canon-....-kinda.

to be more specific on what i mean with that, let's talk abt The biggest thing of grian's lore: Watcher grian.

Watcher grian, the first part of this concept, was born from him leaving the evolution smp almost past half way it's runtime and becoming one of Us, the viewers, the Watchers of the smp serie.

it honestly doesnt go too much further than that for him, even if the watchers seen in the smp are kind of a character mixed in with the way they represent us... but anyways. grian left evo and turned into a watcher to see what their friends were up to in the server. he even said goodbye to the rest of the evolutioners in a modified end poem alongside two other watchers before joining us

the thing that is fan made is the rest of the details of what happened with grian After that, specially the thing of watchers being Evil™, him escaping them, that one specific watcher mask with the evo symbol on the middle and two spikes to the side, the purple cape, etc. But im not gonna get into that further in this post, is. a mess of its own.

the thing is, grian's lore and most other hermitcraft/life series lore can fall in three categories²: first category is fanmade lore, which isnt a bad thing really, since is a big part of the internal culture and like any other fandom making shit up based on lil things here and there or just because is part of the fun. actually, some of these ideas like the watchers being evil or just antagonistic were talked of enough that theyre pretty much canon on martyn inthelittlewood's pov of the life series, but there's still enough vagueness in the concept outside of that pov to play around.

the second category is completely canon lore, like it is the whole Moon Big storyline³, the civil war, the hippie-area 77 arc, the s7 turf war with mother spore grian (which is a bit, but is a canon thing), the rift and hermitcraft being connected to empires by it, the. thing about docm77's arm being ripped off in one of the earlier seasons by one of the minecraft devs (reason why he has a robotic arm).. and so much more i cannot remember at this point, and thats only from a couple of the povs on hermitcraft. theres so much more, Years of lore, and actually, in this category falls the life series too, because. yeah. but usually is the fans doing on dramatizing it the way it felt in some cases, and expanding on ideas (that, with this, many times end up canon. specially in the case of skins)

the third category is the hints and crumbs dropped on more casual, goofy episodes on hermitcraft. one example of this (or more like, the one example i was thinking of while writing this whole thing, the entire time), is that little Hint in one of the mid seasons of scar, mister goodtimeswithscar, possibly letting an alien he had eat part of the NHO group after their disappearance (irl hiatus) after s4.-s5...?

tho honestly, once you get to know how scar is like. at all. its not out of character for him. he's just a silly guy!

...also if you ask me, and funnily enough because this Technically is canon: Grumbo. yes, the ship. like—they have robot sons named after the both of them, mumbo called grian babe once, grian called himself a needy girlfriend at the start of s7 in the context of mumbo, they've lived as neighbors for as long as the both of them had been together in hermitcraft, theyre obssessed with each other, they made summoning circles of one another when the other was away once in s9—theyre canon in my heart.

anyways. as i said at the beginning, a good starting point is the most recent season just to start knowing who grian Is as a character, plus seeing how seasons go usually, but if you want to get the few references thrown around both in-season and in the fandom, slowly watching around the other seasons is nice; s8 and s9 if you want more things happening at once (also, kinda biased here, but for s8 i also recommend joe hills! is a Fantastic pov on all that went down, is the joe hills difference :] ) and s6 and s7 for more "calm" seasons, but still with things happening every once in a while⁴,

tho with the life series, deffo start with third life, because everyone has their favorite season for one reason or another, but third life... is just. Is Third Life; is defining, The start of the life series, the thing that made people in the fandom finally break away from unspoken rules in the fandom, and the start of something that No One knew it was gonna become as big as it is, a whole series! not even grian and the participants knew, and... it just hits different, yknow?

Domino Effect - A Martyn-centric Third Life fic where, after losing his final life, he's sent back to the beginning by unnamed forces to "change things" and set it right. He ends up running through the loop far more times than he anticipated, which leads to some fascinating things. [A WIP, but I'm actively working on the next chapter after ages of stepping away. Old favorite!]

Do You Believe In Magic? - Witch & Familiar AU. Rancher-centric, Jimmy POV. Jimmy finds himself cornered by a beast in the forest during an attunement session, and is saved by a stranger he becomes very glad he met. Physical hurt/comfort but also the usual rancher sillies, backstory sharing, and a magic system I friggin' love. [Completed]

A Bird of Many Colors - Mumbo POV from the start of Season 7. Basically a short story about Mumbo discovering that Grian's wings have changed their plumage since last season...then discovering that maybe that's NOT a normal thing for avians. Short, sweet, and a bit of a background mysterious vibe. [Completed]

There's Not a Word Yet - Ranchers-centric, Hermpire crossover. When the Hermits arrive through the rift, they discover that the friends they've been trying to contact have no memory of them, and believe they are the characters they're playing on Empires. [WIP; I need to finish watching Empires S2 to finish this because I have no context for Jimmy's POV's lol...but I LOVE what I have so far and I DO intend to finish this!!!]

I also am working on a fun Ranchers "Choose Your Own Adventure" type fic project based on another fic of mine, "Coming, Coming Home" (Tango's S8 spaceship crashes in the mesa outside Tumble Town, Tango is the Buzz to Jimmy's Woody). I've been calling it the Fate Entries or My Fate Is In Your Hands, and thus far we're up to three updates! But I'm curious to see where it goes since it's entirely reader-driven. I plan which options have which outcomes before the poll goes out, and I have to go with whatever the people choose! It's chaotic and a fun exercise in on-the-fly story planning! :D

So as presents for my parents (very into Hermitcraft), I have been using round canvases and painting some neat HC bases (fun, we know what they are but those who aren’t aware won’t know they’re MC builds). So far I’ve done Bdubs’ s8 moon base and Dwayne (Grian’s s9 pile of rocks). Any ideas for what else could be cool? I know I wanna do G’s mansion from s7 at some point, cause that’s when we first started watching and also it looks rad as hell, but I also kinda wanna do some builds from other hermits.
