Sure! As long as everyone is aware this is purely speculation, and nothing I say should be taken as proof of anything, I have no problem.

I've gone over a few things in my head, to be honest. I thought that JLH having filming conflicts could've been a major factor, and I still don't exactly disagree with that initial idea, but overall I think it was one of the things that threw TM for a loop.

Now, I've seen a lot of people theorize that perhaps Angela is leaving and that is what is causing so much chaos in BTS, but I am on the fence about this. I do think she might've asked to not have such a big role moving forward, especially if they get a season 9 (which I am also on the fence about ngl), like perhaps retiring, or just having a more laidback position training new recruits. The seeds are planted for that, not so much for her fully leaving. And it would give Angela more free time to dedicate to other projects (which, yes please. I need her in new projects ASAP).

So... (and please don't kill me for this, it's just a theory).

I think it all comes back to Ryan. And that he perhaps is leaving, or actively wants to leave. I will try to explain myself as concise as possible:

A couple of months ago there was already speculation about this. In all of his individual interviews (which were a lot, to be honest), Ryan made a point of talking about his work beyond 911 and talking about what he would like to do after 911.

On top of the individual promo, there was an uncharacteristically high amount of BTS dedicated to him and the godforsaken mustache. To the point where they threw a mustache party. And in the pics of that party, the vibes were that it was a party for Ryan, not in general.

Small thing, but Josh randomly dressing up as Eddie for Halloween. Perhaps unrelated, but I wanted to add it.

The 911 account reposting and celebrating Ryan's 100th ep, when 1. it wasn't his 100th (if we count the eps he was actually in) and 2. it was also JLH's, and yet they didn't say a thing about it. Ryan reposted that as well and the message he reposted it with was more nostalgic than anything else. Very much giving 'it was an honor to work with you, what a journey'.

I could be wrong, but I do think his contract ends this season. So, that just adds to it.

The timeline of the move to Texas. By the reactions alone I was fully expecting Eddie to leave for Texas at the end of 808, and then to be back with Chris (in a lazy way of solving their conflict off-screen) by 809-810. But the way he's currently thinking about it makes it very sus for me. As in, it can be a thing for the end of the season, and an actual goodbye for Eddie.

Of course, nothing of this has to actually happen, and it's quite possible it just exists in my brain. But this makes sense in my funny brain because then it explains why BT had to break up so soon... because they wanted Buck to feel completely isolated.

We know 809-10 will deal with Maddie being kidnapped. That alone will make Buck spiral. But if on top of that his best friend is also leaving... well, being alone just adds to the isolation and the angst. Because if Tommy was still around he'd be able to lean on him, and have him help him through this. But it seems like the writers wanted Buck fully alone for this, because sure, seeing a character never learning and being completely isolated is so much fun.

If this ends with BT getting back together, I honestly don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if Tim doesn't know. But, all in all, I wouldn't be surprised if RG deciding he's done is the thing that kinda created the domino effect.

(Also: I do not believe Oliver was telling Tim to fire Lou and end BT. Sorry. I just don't really see it. Nor do I think there were actual conflicts between actors BTS, as much as everything they're doing right now does feel a bit weird)

A. Sigh. Will I ever know peace again? I want to start by saying that I also haven't found the like. But I didn't do a deep dive to look for it either. So I will assume, for now, that it's there. Having said that, he's just weird, I'm sorry. That's a bizarre thing to do. He hasn't had anything at all to do with anything any of them have posted in forever. The timing of it is a little suspicious. However I do have an ask that says Lou knows the photographer so maybe that's why he liked it. I don't know. I am not a conspiracy person, but he clearly saw the 911 related photo that Oliver took and intentionally didn't 'like' that one. That doesn't do anything to counter the argument that he's no longer allowed to talk about 911 related things. If anything it kind of lends proof to that take. In the end it probably genuinely doesn't mean anything. But yeah that wasn't the proof of life his fans were asking for. It might make them ease off Ryan a bit though, which would be nice since they act like a bunch of racist lunatics where he's concerned.

It probably won't make things easier for Oliver though. And they were already amping up their dislike of him, so I'm already irritated on his behalf. Look it can kind of be seen as just one more indication that they genuinely don't seem to like one another. It does come across as a very passive aggressive gesture, unless he does truly know that photographer. If he doesn't know the photographer though then it can probably be viewed as intentionally passive aggressive. Whatever the reason though it definitely continues to prove that the guy is just really freaking weird.

As for the post itself? Yeah, basically this... all of this. Ali is right.

I haven't really searched for the like myself, since that would take up a lot of time. But one of the more radical BT stans posted a picture of Lou liking the photograph and, judging by the accompanying message, they were clearly disappointed in their icon. So yeah, it is real.

I don't even want to understand Lou anymore. I would just like to put all of this behind me and forget he even exists. Unfortunately I can't do that quite yet. Hopefully soon though. Very soon.

I watched last night and I'm in the silent majority that more than likely loved that ending but haven't spoken out about it! I was hoping that Buck would kiss Eddie last night. Do you think that Ryan and Oliver have privately talked about the path they want their characters to take? Considering what Oliver said about him wanting Buck to be bi going back years made me wonder if he and Ryan have talked about that off-screen? Would Ryan and Oliver be comfortable kissing on screen since they said they were super close? Also, with all the looks, touching, etcetera that we have seen from the actors in real life during interviews, the show, and statements in articles, is it possible that they are dating behind the scenes as well? I can fully separate the actors from the characters, but with the brother comment in real life as well as the potential brother comment next week, could that be their way of throwing us off, especially with the jumping ship comment and reposting the same pic today/last night of them in the sunset picture? Both Ryan and Oliver have both said in countless interviews over the years that if the writers went down the Buddie road with their characters, they would be more than happy to do it. (I mean... it's inevitable!)

While I don't think they're dating personally, the looks and touches of them lately, I have wondered at times! 🤣 But, no, I think they're just very close friends who are very tactile together and get along very well.

The brother comment was Ryan talking about Oliver. I think the writers know than if they used the B word with Buddie at this stage, the fans would probably burn their offices down! (Jokes!) Nothing about Buddie is platonic! Even Tommy was shocked and surprised when Buck said, "I was trying to get your attention!" So, I personally think Tommy is just a stepping stone in the right direction to Buddie.

I think something could happen next week between Buck and Eddie to make Eddie realise some things about his relationship with Buck, but I personally think something will happen between them in 7x06, I mean... the state of their suits, Eddie's shirt and socks missing, his hair looking dishevelled and rugged... 👀👀

I don't know if you've paid any attention to this but do you know the official ages of the main characters? You've always paid attention to little details so i feel like you'd be the right person to ask this to.

Hi anon! ❤️ I’m SO SO sorry this took so long!

I appreciate you thinking of me for this - I have in fact paid attention to this 😂 I know about the general age of some characters, and I know within a year of others (depending on when their birthday is they may have aged up already!)

Bobby - 54. He says in the pilot that he’s 50 years old, and so you figure he’s at least 54 by now, if not 55 if his birthday was between January (when the pilot aired) and now!

Athena - mid 50s. In Athena Begins, I feel like it’s safe to assume she’s around 22 or 23, since she’s in law school but not close to finishing (and I really don’t think she took a gap year), and that was 1989, so she was *probably* born around 1966-67. Which would put her around 54-55 right now, which fits with how old Bobby is!

Hen - 41. She says in Future Tense that she joined med school at 40 (if she’s not rounding for dramatics). Since she got into med school last year in the s3 finale, I’d say 41 now. If she did just say 40 bc it was easy, I’d still say she’s between 39-42 now, bc she’d have to be close in age to 40 to round so automatically like that imo. But at this point I’m going with a simple 41.

Chim - Late 30s to early, early 40s. Chim is one of the two I really don’t have a good idea on. Chimney Begins is set in 2005, and he’s at least 21, since we see him drinking beer in that episode. So he was born sometime before 1984, which would make him 36 right now if he was exactly 21 then, but I think he’s a little older than that, since he’s been working in the bar for a while before the fire. I can’t remember any other details that would give him a more specific age, so if someone does and can provide them I would love to add them! Personally I’d say 39-40, bc I think he’s a little older than Maddie but not by much. I can say however that he has a March birthday! EDIT - thanks to the wonderful @shannon-diaz who remembered that we see Chim’s birthday on his license in 2x10 (you can see the pic provided in the notes!) HOWEVER! I want to make a disclaimer (which I would like to emphasize is not me trying to argue against the lovely Ann at all, she’s absolutely right about this, I just wanna say this) - they have already been changing Chim’s birthday since then, since the license says 10/20/1977 and they’ve since moved his birthday to March. So it’s absolutely possible that they’ve decided to change his age as well. BUT! At the point this was shown, they’d already committed to Madney becoming a thing, so it’s likely they thought about how old Maddie and Chim were in relation to one another. What I don’t know is if they thought about Maddie’s age before then, or if they put it off until they had to during the Daniel arc. All of this is to say - right now, as of end of s4, the best info we have says Chim is 44. But I could also absolutely see the writers pulling a switcharoo on the poor props crew and changing his age, since they’ve already discarded the birth date. So I say, go forth and know that Chim is 44! But also please don’t get mad at me if that information changes in the future 😂

Buck - 29. During the entire Buck Begins arc, they say multiple times that the family has been hiding a secret from him for 29 years, etc etc. In the Valentine’s Day ep in s1, Abby says Buck is 26. And in Kids Today (the opener to s3) Maddie specifically mentions he’s 28. So I’m most sure about Buck, out of everyone, esp since Oliver himself is 29. I think he’s the character where they’re sticking closest to the actor’s actual age.

Maddie - around 37. We know Maddie was 9 when Daniel died (Chim says she made the promise to not talk about Daniel when she was 9). Since Daniel died a little over a year after Buck was born, that puts Maddie around 8 at the time Buck was born, making her 37 to Buck’s 29 as of right now. Also, in ep 4 of s4, her mom mentions her being a “high risk pregnancy” since she’s over 35, but specifically does not say she’s over 40. So 37 or 38 for her. (Side note - Maddie is older than Daniel by between 1.5 to 2 years, since she says Daniel died when he was 7.) like I said, I’m most positive about Buck’s age but Maddie’s is a close second.

Eddie - early 30s? I also have no idea about him. My personal best guess would be 33, since that’s how old Ryan Guzman is now, and they’ve never in my recollection said anything to indicate a different age for him! (Same thing here as goes for Chim - if anyone can remember something let me know!) Note - I’ve been thinking on this a while and I actually feel pretty good about 31-33. We know Chris was born in 2011, so he’s turning 10 sometime soon, and that would make Eddie somewhere between 21-23 when he was born, which I feel fits with a timeline of him taking time to work with his dad after high school, and then joining the army, doing basic, and getting deployed all in time to get leave for Christopher’s birth.

And there’s all 7 mains! I’m going to link this in a bullet point in the next character details post, so if anyone wants to add information for Chim or Eddie (preferably with an episode number and/or scene so that I can verify it), I’ll edit this post and give you credit, so that way when I link this post, people will be able to see it all in one place, and the edits w credit will be in the tag for everyone to see!

Also all of these ages are as of right now, end of s4. If you want to write future fic or fic for a past season you’ll want to add or subtract years accordingly!

ok so today were reviewing fucking "wilfred" basically its a story about a depressed guy who tried to kill himself but he failed because hes a pushover in life and even suicide is mocking him yea jk actually his sis prescribed him placebo so the meds he used in his suicide attempt were useless yada yada

then he sees his neighbours (on who he tots have the hots for) dog as a man and hes like lol wtf why is there a furry standing in my yard? im not into dogplay dudette, please dont do this to me ah-

unfortunately for him the chick, on the next day asks to take care of her dog meanwhile because idk shit happens in her house? and she has to work? yea something like that so anyway he accepts because hes into her and out of it aswell more out of it than anything tho

our man, ryan is pretty disturbed but it happens anyway he has NO control over his life so why would he have control on  a dog fursuit wearing 40 yo man? yea exactly wouldnt make sense

wilfred enters his house and smoke a damn bong thats right, a very efficient way to introduce what kind of character were up against see, jason gann has the perfect face for such character looking all dirty in that suit with a big ass black painted dog nose you gotta think "that dawgs up to no good" and youd be damn right keep reading to discover why so basically nm happens in this episode if it isnt the setting of all the shit because well ryan has a lot of issues and its gonna get worse you cant believe this dog is gonna make things better for ryan not really hes just scamming the loser with cheap tricks and drugs

in conclusion: it was a pretty decent first episode ill update my final thoughts on the first season once im done watching it but so far its recommandable the camera work is pretty cool like its not just thoughtless filming we actually have a nice feel to it, the setting of the series is esthetically pleasing you get nice colors and it aint boring, its not like a FRIENDS episode yknow? dawg i dislike how boring it looks filming wise for start but damn i aint reviewing FRIENDS rn so next, the comedy? after all its a comedy genre series not a drama, idk if id review an actual depressive show on here thatd bum the vibe out ok? i know im making all my revs awesome w/e it is that i choose to rate and comment but still im serving you a plate of my finest sheez not any fizzle in the mizzle ok?

anyway yea the humor aint bad, i havent laughed my ass of but i did find it amusing to watch the jokes may actually kick in in the second episode ill have to update this rev alright? just hang on to your balls peeps this fam will serve in due time

rating: 7,5/10 scenery/camera work 7/10 comedy 8/10 interest/entertaining points total: 7,5/10 for a first episode is fine enough to be recommanded, like a "give it a chance" sorta case yknow isnt the most hilarious show youll watch but its fine especially if youre into homoromantic tension between a furry and elijah wood

Hiking, cold, and other things 2.0 (11.14)

I couldn’t finish the previous post, let me try it again.

On thursday I bought the guitar, so this obviously meant that I couldn’t really concentrate on the courses for the rest of the day, bought a pack of new strings, changed them right after I got home. On thursday evening we went to a small Sisha (vizipipa for the hungarians) place with Óscar, Adele, Filip and Oliver in the (until this point I thought jewish, bit it turned out to be muslim) district called Albajcin. I’m not smoking this thing anymore the place nevertheless the place was really nice, had this muslim vibe, owner/waiter was definitely arabic, cause he was incredibly friendly. The guys bought a sisha with some peach taste, I had a Tinto. Oliver came later, also Adele had some friends visiting from the Czech Republic, they also joined us, it was a great evening! (No pics sadly, sorry)

On friday I went hiking with some new people I got to know in the past few weeks, we went to a place called Los Cahorros which is basically a canyon / gulch (see the pictures), we had a circleish hike, with some uphills and downhills, it was beatiful 14-15 km, not too much, just perfect. The place is close to Granada, 30 min by bus from the center, ticket is 3 EUR in total, would definitely recommend this to anybody who’s visiting Andalucia. I didn’t have time to go home before my evening class so I ended up going there straight from the bus wearing dirty boots and stinky clothes, I’m sure my classmates appreciated it. Since I was pretty tired, I managed to lose my powerbank somewhere at the faculty kinda of a bummer I bought it back in the US 3 years ago and it’s been doing a great job ever since... I was dead tired, went home to sleep straight after class. 

On saturday I did some studying, started to write an essay cause the deadline is actually on this sunday, thought maybe it’s time to do something useful. In the evening I went to get a tea with Óscar, had a nice talk in this bar called Granada Mar (we’ve been coming here in the past few weeks, nice place, cheap drinks, good tapas, pool etc.). Long story short we ended up in a house party in an american dude called Jeremy’s place. He attended a few of the erasmusicians meetings, also played a jam thing with him on the pervious open mic, and as it turned out he invited everybody from the erasmusicians whatsapp group. Eventually we were the only ones with Óscar who eventually showed up from this group, it was a cool party anyway. We decided just to check in for an hour or so, we ended up staying a bit longer, got home around 3 am. The most interesting thing about this party is the location. Jeremy’s living in the city center. Check. On the main square where THE cathedral is. Check. On the top floor. Check. With a living room above the whole flat basically, so from the windows I could see above the rooftops, and the other direction I could see almost the roof of the cathedral. Check...It was mind blowing...I’ll try to make a pic of the place from the outside when I’ll be around there next time..The whole flat is renovated with a lot of small innovative ideas and solutions, the toilet for example was under the stairs, which led to the living room (which is above the kitchen...can you still follow me?), like Harry Potter’s bedroom at the Dursley’s place...Okay enough about the flat. The people at the party were literally from all over the world, Venezuela, US, Portugal, Germany, Romania, Bolivia, Belgium etc. ...We were just about to leave when Jeremy mentioned a jam session and well, since both Óscar and I kinda like music, we thought maybe we could stay for a bit longer..We ended up playing some old school hit songs in a crowded kitchen, Óscar/Jeremy/me/this dude named Gus from Venezuela playing the guitar and singing, Jeremy’s friend Ryan playing the cajon, and the rest of the people were also singing along! It was proper fun!

On sunday after a long internal debate I decided to go out to see how street music works around here. Plan was to go out and play somewhere around the cathedral. On the square in front of Jeremy’s place I stumbled into a british dude, Dan, who I knew from the party the previous night and from previous erasmusician meetings, he has a killer voice, and plays the violin. We played a few songs together but I didn’t want to annoy him for long so I went to look for my own place. Found a nice but windy square not far from the cathedral (it was freakin cold on sunday...brrrr). I have to admit I expected something else. I was playing there for about 40 minutes, aaand I earned about 30 cents. Not my best day. Went to Albajcin to try it again there with some help from Sara (she’s the girl from the video I uploaded from the open mic, we were playing together) and guess what, her presence made a bit of a difference. No wonder why, she can actually sing!

On monday I went climbing again with a dude called Niklas from the economics course. It was probably my worst session since I’ve started climbing (not because of him), I felt so weak, it was just awful, let’s not talk about that..

On tuesday I had a little gathering at my place, I invited Adele, Sara, Óscar and Oliver over to drink some glühwein together. I also made some “not so fancy” cake with banana in it (huge thanks to my sister for the recipe!), turned out pretty good! We played some UNO, and some other games, had a great time, I could write more about it but that wouldn’t really do justice..

On wednesday I went to Jeremy’s place again to practice a song for the open mic with him, Ryan and a french girl who’s gonna sing the song (”I’ll take care of you - Joe Bonamassa” if anybody’s interested). It’s gonna be good I think!

Today, thursday, I had the International Organizations course, with some “awesome” groupwork (Why on earth do these people here like it so much?! WHY?!), and the Magreb course, with a new professor who’s gonna be the lecturer for the rest of the semester. Of course, she also thought that some groupwork would be great (WHY?! I even took my laptop with me to finish the essay I’m supposed to hand in by sunday), but wait, there’s more. She turned on some arabic, middle eastish music, “to help us to concentrate on the task”...What the actual...Whatever, survived it somehow. Gotta admit, going to class is my least favorit thing since I actually made some friends...Ops. Okay maybe not the economic course, I kinda like that, I even accidentaly met the professor at the climbing place on monday..But the rest of the courses...Meh.

Some Ryan's fans are simple the worse. When I saw the pics I was so happy to see how they are a such cute family, and if you are a Ryan's fan, those photo are just a bless! Ryan is so peacefull e his babies are so healthy, he seems so happy. And Amada has black hair, so? Eva is Cuban, what they aspect? A baby blue eyes and blonde hair? They don't understood that is more normal for Amada has black hair (considering the genis of Eva and Ryan) than blonde hair.

I find they- and Eva- just can't win with people. They stay away from the public eye, they get criticized. They dare to go out in public together, they get criticized. On the kids, you also have to take into account Ryan's hair has darkened to a dirty blonde too- those kids just aren't going to be super blonde, sorry about it (and I find his fans' obsession with his kids being blonde haired and blue eyed to be fucking gross, anyway). And IIRC, their oldest WAS blonde as a baby, and her hair darkened. For all we know, their youngest will get lighter hair. It's freaking genetics, it's a crap shoot. Those kids have a pale, blonde dad and an olive-skin, black haired mom. He has small eyes, she has bigger eyes, he has a thin mouth, she has bigger lips, he has an oval face, she's all cheekbones and angles...their looks can literally go ANYWHERE. The only sure bet is they'll probably be gorgeous. I'm rambling. Yes, you are correct, people are being garbage and should leave them alone.

A. My ask box is just a sea of the word green 🤣. I have a client pitch meeting later this morning that will last ages so I'm going to answer these in one post. Most of the asks currently sitting in my box are a variation of the ones posted above, bless you all, so this should cover it if you've sent me an ask.

Well I needed to lay down when I first saw the photo because he has no right looking that damn fine. And as someone who, with the exception of a few outfits, absolutely hated Buck's wardrobe last season, I was thrilled to see that fit. Now, there are way better blogs to have the color theory discussion with but him in green is definitely a pattern that pops up when he's about to make a life change of some kind. Whether that be breakups or a coma dream green tends to appear on Buck when he's coming to some sort of self discovery, or personal growth. We don't see him in green otherwise. It's definitely more of an Eddie color. So the implications of that photo are certainly interesting. Also, sorry for some of you in my ask box, but he's not going to post a Tommy fit. Let that idea go now. The other thing we know about Mr. Stark is that he will inevitably post some photo that we will look back on in a few months and realize it was a major hint/spoiler of some kind. He's a little shit like that. He knows exactly what he's doing. As for the journos tweet it was certainly an interesting thing to say. She is a Buddie fan herself though so I think people would do well to remember that, just in case. But I will say that with the season just a month away their embargos have most likely been lifted, or are about to be lifted, so I would imagine they will start their promotional side of things here fairly soon. And they're clearly going with the 'something's shifted' angle because they have all now mentioned it. Given what we have seen so far Buddie looks to be a big part of the PR game plan again this season. Just remember it is their job to drum up excitement and anticipation for the season and Buddie is an easy way to do that. So while I understand everyone is excited, just try not to take everything as a confirmation. Enjoy the content. Be as excited and nervous as you want. Stay in the positive. Ignore the negative and rage bait nonsense. All the signs are there. But as we all know that's not a guarantee. Follow Oliver and Ryan's lead and just enjoy the ride.

Oliver has no business looking this good this season. 😋 The wardrobe has definitely changed a lot and I agree with Ali, it was necessary. I don't know what they were trying to show us last season, but Buck's wardrobe has definitely brightened up a lot.

I agree with Ali so much here. All of these things are great and positive for us. Let's be excited and happy with all of this content and then we'll just see. Let the show surprise us. We won't know what'll happen until the season starts airing anyway, so enjoy all the inbetween fun. That's what fandom is about: Enjoying the thing you love!

Hello, I'm sorry to ask and that I keep pestering you, feel free not to answer btw! But I missed the whole basketball spoiler thing and people mention it a lot but what is it? All I know is they play basketball but everyone have freaked out about it but I haven't found anyone explaining why, so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind explaining?

Hey, no worries, I'm happy to answer the stuff I have the answers too lol the basketball thing is actually about a script Jennifer accidentally leaked, describing a scene with Buck and Maddie where Buck is freaking out over something and Maddie is reasoning with him that it was just an accident on a basketball court.

A lot of people started speculating stuff around the stills we had at the moment that happened, that we now know have nothing to do with it, that Buck possibly hurt Eddie or Christopher.

But that's in the air now. We also had these bts pics of a basketball court that everyone was trying to find Oliver and Ryan, and anyone really, to get some clues about who is involved in the scene. Personally, I don't think we have enough pixels to say who is who here.

Oliver also posted this picture and confirmed it's from 7x04 aka episode 100

And he also posted this that's more unclear about where it fits on the show.

He also posted this on his photography Instagram, and this could also be a bts picture, but again it's unclear.

What we know for sure is that there is a basketball game in episode 100, there will be some sort of accident that will freak Buck out during a basketball game, but we don't know for sure who else is involved.
