You just nodded your head. You couldn't think of any words right now and you felt tears in your eyes. Maybe because you didn't tried for a baby or maybe it was just hormones.

hello anon! would you care for some headcanons during these trying times?

in my head, their wedding would be relatively small compared to what one would expect from a wedding that has someone of ashley’s stature as the bride. papa graham’s got himself ordained so that’s one thing off their list of things to worry about.

given that ashley once got in trouble (read: kidnapped) for being the daughter of a Very Important Man, i think that another number that Spain did on her was that it made her want to be as lowkey as possible as a civilian. and that would translate to her very own wedding later in life. in my head she’s got like a maid of honor and like 2 bridesmaids then maybe ≤12 of friends and family. like just the really trusted ones. (maybe what blows up the head count are the security that papa graham vehemently insisted upon. that was his one big request as the father of the bride. although let’s face it—the safest ashley will ever be is already beside her groom.)

while ashley knows that the “star” of a wedding is the bride (let’s face it, that’s a thing), she knows leon’s introverted as heck and would want as little bells and whistles as possible—incidentally she wants that too.

as for leon’s side of the church, he of course invites his found famjam — the rest of the death island gang (chris is his best man and claire is his best woman; yeah that’s a thing), plus sherry, jake, hunnigan, helena.

i think through freshman and sophomore year jess and emily were both on the cheer team, but junior year emily decided to quit and jess became varsity captain. i know they went to a boarding school but in a normal small town high school, jess was definitely the queen b. i see her as more of a elle woods type instead of regina george, where she might have seemed like a stereotypical mean girl but was actually nice to everyone unless given a reason not to be. during summers she probably volunteered for open gyms at the school or worked at the movie theatre with the rest of the group.

chris and josh probably both took photography/film classes and often volunteered to take pictures of the yearbook. which some argued was biased due to the friday night lights section being almost solely dedicated to jess and matt. (i love them so bad pls) chris was more of the quiet type and josh often had to convince him to come out on the weekends, but he never turned down a party at the washington residence. i also definitely see josh having a low budget youtube channel where he used his dads props to make low quality horror films that often starred jess or sam.

you could more often than not find ashley hidden under the bleachers somewhere, smoking during lunch and trying not to get caught. once josh found her hiding spot, much to her dismay, she was forced to share her stash with everyone. sam and ashley were both likely a part of some type of environmental club where they participated in cleanups for volunteer hours and went on hikes to get photos for yearbook.

emily and matt were probably the busiest out of the group, emily focused on her academics and matt focused on football. i see mike playing football but probably more as a side activity and not taking it as seriously as matt. mike was preoccupied with his class president campaign, signs that jess so clearly decorated with glitter gel pens.

i could definitely see the group going to a sort of secluded school with a lot of greenery/forests around so they probably snuck off during lunch and made a clearing in the woods where they’d smoke and eat and talk shit where no one could interrupt them.

josh and jess were definitely the party animals of the group, so almost every weekend one of them hosted a party at their house, that somehow, half the school would always show up to. jess definitely curated the party playlists and used her shitty fake id and flirting skills to secure booze for them.

most of the group feels very west coast to me (as a west coast native) and them living in an arcadia bay type town just feels soooo right. after football games on friday nights they’d walk over to the shitty diner down the street and order pie and milkshakes, or everyone would pile into josh’s car and drive over to the drive in during october where they hosted cheesy 80’s horror movies <33

Been wanting to get these out there for a good long while. I won't HC too much about what happens in the present season cuz it's still airing, but this is how I see them as a couple.

So when everyone grows more used to Gabby's eccentricities or Ellie helps everyone accept her more, I can definitely see Alec, Jake, Dan (once he apologizes for trying to vote Gabby off), Ashley+Will and Drew getting along with them best. They all keep in touch with one another post-DC. It's already canonically confirmed that Gabby owns a LOT of pets, though given her father didn't take care of them well...oof. Well when they move in together they're gonna get a LOT of pets. Like...a LOT a lot of pets.

Ellie's the kind of girl that usually is introverted, quiet and often a little snarky, but I get the feeling she just melts like putty when she's with her girlfriend, and they tend to be quite affectionate in public. Nothing over-the-top or constantly make-outy like Geoff and Bridgette, but they love to give each other hugs, lots of kisses on their forehead, nose, cheek and a few lip kisses too, and exchanging lots of "I love you"s and terms of endearment.

Close to their second anniversary I feel like Ellie worked with some of her fellow DC campers she befriended in season 1 and the likely All-Stars season to bring Gabby on a safari vacation to Africa. And on the night of the anniversary itself (which was also a full moon night), they went on one of their nature hikes through the beautiful wilderness. The entire time, Ellie told her just how much she loved her, more than anything else in the world, and how happy she made her - and at the climax of that night, Ellie proposed to her. Yes there were tears of joy, from BOTH of them.

At the wedding, which took place deep in a forest just like Gabby would love, almost everyone from DC was present (not gonna say who's banned yet depending on how the rest of Season 1 goes...Yul's definitely banned though), as well as a good amount of Total Drama contestants. Alec was their best man while I get the feeling Lill and Ashley were their maids of honor. They gave one another wedding rings with star ruby gemstones (also Dan is the ring-bearer because yes). Oh and since Ellie wished to work in fashion, Imma say she designed both her and Gabby's clothes. Also Kai being their officiator won't leave my head cuz he's a very nature-minded person and he'd definitely see a good future for the two of them.

I see them moving in together in a cabin or cottage in a forest or mountainside (these two girls give big cottagecore vibes)

I'm seeing them use IVF to have their daughter. As for names I'm seeing something nature-related like Rose/Rosie/Rosita, Autumn, Daisy, Willow or Hazel.

Vesper is absolutely spoiled by VM - they get better with it as time goes on [the Trickfoots have their own kids, and the rest have their responsibilities really settle in, and Vex and Percy learn that maybe spoiling a kid rotten isn't the best way to go] but this kid gets everything. Partially because she's the first baby and SO cute... partially because Vax just died and Vex is A Mess so they're all rallying to defeat this for her, for themselves, and it's very healing to make a lil baby smile and laugh.

Scanlan actually isn't the best at lullabies - the kids turn to Pike's huskier and softer voice at bedtime. Which Scanlan is Very Dramatic About, but he has the best songs for games and chores and good times and such. Sorry, but you know Willhand'ildan absolutely fucking hates his name. He and Vax'ildan (Dan) bond over not really... knowing how to deal with being named after dead people, especially the same guy their parents feel guilty about not being able to save. *a note on the lotr set: i randomly found the set at a small indie bookstore while visiting family in vermont when i was, like, 13 and a few years later when i went to an alt. high school i took a sci-fi/fantasy class and the teacher that taught the class had the same boxed set that i did but it was missing one of the books. when i told my teacher i had the same set he asked if I'd ever consider selling him the set bc it was his pride and joy of his lotr collection and it really bummed him out someone misplaced the missing book. i said no bc it was also my pride and joy of my lotr collection lol
