just watched 21 jump street and looked up the cast bc thats what i do when i watch movies and found out that there was a tv show also named 21 jump street that the movie was a kinda sorta but not really sequel to the show and that the random cameo with johnny depp at the end was in fact not a random famous comedic actor cameo at all bc he was like the main character in the original tv show and that led me down a weird rabbit hole (incoming pun not intended) and learned about the other cops in that show one of them being Judy Hoffs which if youre like me ur former disney brain immediately connected that to Judy Hopps from zootopia and looked it up to see if it was intentional and apparently the name (and job) similarities were not supposed to be a reference on the zootopia team's part and its "just a play on how rabbits jump" and they were "unaware of the 21 jump street character when naming judy" which i think is some pretty big bullshit because theres no way a character who's first name is Judy and last name is hopps (spelled with two P's the way hoFFs is spelled) and just so happens to also be a young and brand new cop is just a crazy random coincidence

FINALLY got to watch the Mario movie and it was actually REALLY fun to watch!!!

Looking back at the initial backlash regarding the voice casting... I gotta say. I think we overreacted but that's kinda understandable. I think the movie would be interesting had Martinet voiced Mario/Luigi

Otherwise, really good movie. New comfort movie. Extremely re-watchable. This is like, my modern Digimon movie. Good job Illumination and Nintendo

Elaborating on my previous Oda romance/LuNami post

For the ones who read my previous long post analyzing Oda's thoughts on romance in One Piece + LuNami, thank you!

I'd like to elaborate on some things right here in case some people may misinterpret some of my viewpoints on how Oda portrays LuNami. So, one thing I see many LuNami fans point out is that Oda making LuNami subtle in his manga is on purpose, which I do wholeheartedly agree with! While it definitely is intentionally subtle, my post was to point out WHY that is the case, because Oda goes out of his way to show off the more cliché or "obvious" stuff in non-manga material, while the manga basically exclusively contains subtle things, indicating that there is something holding him back from putting this cliché stuff in his main story, which is what 95% of the content Oda makes even comes from. And as I pointed out in the post, I think it's him wanting to appeal to boys. I do think that if it wasn't for that, plus his shyness about romance, that he would put in more obvious cliché things in his manga, as he seems to be doing that for his non-manga material.

Now, this subtlety LuNami has in the manga is what draws many LuNami fans to the ship, which makes a ton of sense no doubt, in the manga it's basically the ship's bread and butter. My post wasn't to say "Omfg stop being subtle forget your audience and put in obvious shit in your manga Oda!" Nope, definitely not. My post was to point out that he truly DOES see LuNami as romantic and the reason I pointed it out in the first place is because it's so subtle in the manga that some people need convincing that the subtleties in the manga are truly LuNami hints and not just something you can dismiss like all the naysayers do.

This is why I talked about the non-canon material so much in that post, to prove how it's obvious that he DOES really like LuNami because of how the non-manga shit is so much more obvious with LuNami hints. Mr. "I think romance is a good idea for Film: Gold" also said "OP is a shounen manga ffs, no romance depicted lmao". Totally different statements, one for his manga, one for an optional movie... hmm, there's no way my post has any sort of validity!

By the way when Oda said "no romance depicted" he's not full of shit or whatever, he clearly refers to obvious romances stories that aren't subtle hints like how he portrayed LuNami in the manga. Every time he mentions romance it's clear he means the obvious stuff, of course I think it's obvious how UsoKaya is basically canon but there's no dedicated romance story between them in the manga.

This predicament that I think Oda is in with making it subtle in his manga and less subtle outside his manga, is why LuNami seems so easy to trivalize for so many people. Because in the manga it's so subtle that people can easily just go "Nah that is not what it means" and in non-manga material it's like "No man it's non-canon bullshit who cares it's not in the manga". But see, these people saying this is exactly what I think Oda wants his boy audience to think! So... good job I guess!

Now, I know that I may seem to be putting in just a bit too much stock into Oda being restricted by his audience, which yeah I do see why you would think so if you happen to think that. However he keeps bringing up his readers, over and over and over AND OVER AND OVER again when nobody even asked him about that, dude.

Some guy asks: "So uhh who does Nami like?" Oda: "Uhh this is for boys and they don't care man"

The guy: Umm... I didn't ask for that but thanks?

Aoyama: "I wouldn't leave if you do romantic stuff"

Oda: "Well shit, PEOPLE seem so supportive of couples huh!?"

You uhh, seem a bit too concerned with the opinions of "people" and there's a bit too much "shounen shounen manga boys boys boys" when NOBODY ASKED YOU to talk about them in your answers for it. How should that not to arouse suspicion in me?

And those 2 examples aren't even the only time he's like that.

Buuut, I think this is all I gotta say... for now I think. I might edit this post to further elaborate on stuff later, no promises but I'll think about it!

-To start with so instead of the government bombing Racoon City into dust, they just fully quarantined the city, building walls around to hide it from the outside monitoring it with the help of umbrella.

- Zombie!Leon doesn't really remember anything or how he even turned into one but that his name starts with L so he's referred now by "L" by his human. Though he has a prominent bite mark on his right side of the neck making that side more blood stained and stuff.

- Zombie!Leon considers Zombie!Marvin his closest friend and decided to address him as "M"

- He met his human on one of him and his fellow police zombie friends' hunt in the city, specifically within the Racoon City hospital. Like in the movie it was also love at first sight for our precious rookie zombie when he saw his human💕

- His human was there cuz they were tagging along with their boyfriend who's working under umbrella and was with a small team assigned to scavange and collect some things and stuff within the now abandoned and zombie infested hospital.

- And yes, he ate his human's now ex boyfriend's brain and pocketed some more for later😭 so like in the movies he also gained memories of the said dead ex boyfriend of his human by now.

- Zombie!Leon then again decided it upon himself to protect and drag his human back to the rpd station where he reside, keeping his human there on one of the safe room.

- He acts like a puppy following his human around most of the time and not leaving their side as well as their guard dog.

- He can speak a bit, mostly just words that help his point be said across. He's not able to form full perfect sentences. He just grunts and huff most of the time when communicating, his human often relies on his body language to understand him.

- Despite being a zombie himself he acts differently compared to his fellow zombies, he's very considerate and gentle, especially towards his human.

- In terms of appearances, unlike the standard zombies that are rotting, I took the liberty to just stick with something like the zombies in the movie as well~

-For this AU, the equivalent of boneys in the movie are the lickers on this one >:D

This is just so fluffy and romantic all thanks to our favorite redhead introducing weighted blankets which helps so much. It’s been shown to even help babies but blankets aren’t great for them. Anyway, they’re so cute and that scene where Dean opens his eyes all slow and gentle with “hey”, just broke me. My husband and I do that periodically and it just means more snuggles and sleep. lol. CREWEL X KONIG SCHENHEIT IDEAS!

Crewel met him before Vil went to NRC at a fashion show.

Maybe after Vil was born, and Vil got lost at the show as a like three to five year old. Vil maybe hides under a chair cause everything is loud and scary, he can’t find his papa. And suddenly a big fluffy white coat is in front of him, then someone crouches down to look under the chair. Crewel loves kids, and his heart melts at the sight of the tearful blonde boy. Crewel offers a hand to help him find his guardian and little Vil all but leaps into the man’s arms. Strangers are scary but so is being very short around adults who can’t see you! So Crewel carries the boy around, asking about his dad. “He’s super cool, and the handsomest! And the best papa ever!” And Vil settles down talking about how cool his dad is.

Poor Konig is panicking looking for his young son before he feels a tap on his shoulder and seeing the prettiest man holding his sniffling son! Crewel and him sit next to eachother during the show. And obviously poor Vil gets bored out of his mind, so Crewel finds a few games to play. How many red shoes can you find? Bet I can find more! After the show, little Vil is knocked out, snuggled under Crewel’s coat, and Konig “feels kinda bad removing him from it” so he and Crewe are kind of “forced” to get dinner! They didn’t have a choice!

They stay friends, even as Vil grows up, and Vil has known they’ve liked eachother since he was seven. Nobody crinkles the magazine when they see their “friend” on a date like that. Vil tries to play matchmaker. “Poor papa is so lonely, I’m going to school and can’t give him the affection he needs!” “Uncle Divus is so stressed from teaching! He’s probably sick of being around kids. Maybe I can have a babysitter and you and him can talk about taxes!” (Cause that’s what adults do obviously!)

Vil finally shoves them together when he starts at NRC, and knows they’re dating, they’ve been pining for years now, but he can also pretend he doesn’t see it. He even stays silent when he sees Crewel walking into class wearing his dad’s chapstick, though he does internally cringe a bit.

Vil also takes over their wedding, and demands to be the flower girl, Crewel’s dogs are the ring bearers. And when Vil is interviewed about his dad marrying his teacher he just says “finally!”
